Abridged menu for the Brunch weekends

By Jon E |

Good Brunch options and still some regular menu items available during Brunch times. Good $3 Bloody Marys and Mimosas. We started with fried pickles which are thick are thick-cut round pickles breaded and the drizzled with wing sauce and blue cheese crumbles - very tasty. For the mail meal we went with chicken sandwich & onion rings, Cobb salad and I got both fried jalapeño poppers and BBQ wings. The Cobb salad was average as we're the poppers which were really small I I didn't taate any of the promised pulled chicken inside, only cream cheese. The chicken sandwich was good as we're the ~7 chicken wings - BBQ sauce and then grilled. All together a food meal if a little on the expensive side due to my ordering appetizers as my meal. They have daily specials including $5 burgers on Monday. That's the best day to go.

Great Service/Mediocre Food

By Austxnaturegal |

Visited this establishment for lunch. I had the herb roasted chicken with a sweet potato and my daughter had a grilled cheese and tomato basil soup. While both of our meals were okay, we agreed that it isn't something we would go back for. My chicken was cooked well enough but lacked any real flavor (herb roasted?). My daughter did not care for her soup and ate only part of her grilled cheese. I think $13 for 1/2 of a roasted chicken and a small sweet potato is a bit pricey. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive.

Great Burger

By Mandy R |

This is during COVID so they only have take out. I have no review of a sit down meal here. Meals are between $10-$20 so it isn't "cheap" but their portions are huge so it evens out. The Southern Burger was very good and big enough that I couldn't finish my fries.

Too Good to Miss

Monday night Happy Hour... Fine glass of wine, followed by Awesome Southern Burger! Finished it off with Chocolate Dump Cake! OH MY! So good... Service was perfect,..

Good one page menu

By Jon E |

From starters to burgers, sandwiches and some plated entres, lunch here is generally a good deal. The fried pickles start as a whole pickle slices in fairly thick pieces, breaded, deep fat fried and then sprinkled with blue cheese crumbles and drizzled with buffalo sauce and served with their Ranch dressing on the side. It is a small serving but good so it doesn't fit you up before the meal. One caution is to order burgers at least one temperature less than you usually want. They are cooked much higher temp than normal - today I asked for Medium and there was no pink whatsoever. It has been consistently this way each time I've visited. Today was The BCBP; Beer Cheese, Bacon, Pretzel roll (see the pic). I got a salad with Blue Cheese, and glad I saved the rest of the Ranch from the friend pickles as it needed a little more dressing. We also got a chicken sandwich, another burger and their version of a French Dip. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we will certainly go back.

Our "go-to" place for years

By Jeff E |

The misses and I have been having a "date-night" pretty much every week for several years now. We know what we like and our most frequent haunt in The League. We go probably 2 times a month and we are always happy with our time there. We're known by everyone and always have a great time. Good drinks, good food good people.

Today’s hamburger lunch

By Steve H |

The food is always delicious. Service is great. However, everytime I order a hamburger the French fries are warm at best! They should be tongue burning when served! Every time. I should say something but I might be accused of being an anti-Trumper! lol.

Great location, good food, nice bar

By treborz64 |

It's nice having an upscale locals bar that has good food. Came here with a colleague after work. Bar wasn't crowded at 7pm...pretty quiet actually for a Wed night. Service is solid, beer is cold, and food delicious.

Great atmosphere and food

By Centaur4 |

We didn’t have a reservation this time but I have been here on big game nights etc and it has been packed (must be a good sign). Rate the booth seating, very comfy. The fare was reasonably priced and very good, with tasty sides to choose from - recommend the truffle fries. Starters and Mains both arrived in a timely fashion and their range of choice was different to your basic sports bar. A good thing, as change is as good as holiday! Some may find the sport being shown on the various TV screens may distract your dining company, but then most significant others are on their phones these days anyway. Easy, off street parking right out front.

Drinks and food at the League

By nathanblund |

The League is a nice little spit with decent drinks and ffod. The fish was decent but not he best I've had but my friends burger was really good. They also had "rainwater" there from a local Austn water company which was good. The wine was nice but a little pricey. Good overall experience.

Casual dinner

By Thuy Le |

Came here with friends for dinner. Good atmosphere. Good food. The mussels were excellent & their truffle fries were delicious.

Brunch A Good Deal

By dorcasm772 |

Went here with the ladies for a Birthday Brunch. Great Service, nice atmosphere Extra yummy food,....it was so good and so pleasant. The value of the meal compared to the cost was fantastic. It not cheap eats but the price points are great. They introduced us to their dump cake...chocolate sweet goodness, Nice spot that not to crowded nice hidden spot....try it before the word gets out.

The League during Quarantine

By Carrie H |

We came to the league after a long afternoon of kayaking. It is during the quarantine, so we had no idea what to expect. They seated us right away. We felt safe and distanced from others. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious.

Great Service & Great Food

By treborz64 |

Popped by Brooklyn Heights because I was craving their big slices and wanted to sit near the bar and had a hankering for a loud boisterous environment. BH's was packed with a huge wait so we went to The League. This is a really nice place. Been here a dozen times. A little more upscale than BH's with a finely craft menu. My wife had the rotisserie chicken...it was very good - tender, semi juicy. I had the deep fried ribs. They were excellent. The service is great as always. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and thorough. Also had desert...walked out waddling. Love this place.

Lunch

Very dissent restaurant. I had lunch, it was good and tasty salad. But there are other choices. Menu does look diverse. Certainly will be back.

Friendly Neighborhood Place with Great Food

By Carlton E |

There are many, many restaurants in Austin and it is wonderful to have such choices for those of us who eat out often. My wife and I visited The League Kitchen & Tavern on Parmer Lane, and were not disappointed. Don’t be fooled by the plain street façade in a small shopping center. Inside is a full-blown high-level tavern filled with friendly staff and great food. While the menu looks somewhat like a multi-font eye examination chart, it is chock full of small meal choices, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and (on the back) lists of great wine choices and draft beers. After some very attentive service, we enjoyed some comfort food better than we have had in most taverns we’ve visited across the country. The grilled chicken sandwich was among the top two I’ve ever eaten. My wife’s Cobb salad was great with its shaved turkey. Wow! We’ll go back, even though it is 30 minutes from our house. This is an A on our restaurant grading scale.

Great little sports bar n grill

By Jason R |

Good food. Salads were great. Drinks were mixed well. Nice atmosphere with plenty of TV's on one side. Opposite side is small restraunt if you want to escape thebar scene.

Don't Let Location Fool You

By mascaroc |

Just like the title, don't let the location fool you. Despite its location tucked away in a strip mall and not being 'fancy' this is a really nice restaurant! The prices are a little higher, but the quality of the food is great, the menu is more of a 'date night' menu, and the atmosphere is wonderful! Indoor or outdoor (we sat outdoor) and it's family friendly. Not so much a bar/tavern as it is a restaurant. It DOES have a bar side, but it's much more enjoyable to grab a table. It is a mid-range restaurant, but prices to top out toward fine....make sure you pick the 'truffle fries'.

Awesome Food

By mkpingree |

Beer is cold, wine is fresh and food is great ! Started with pretzel sticks which were very warm and tasty. Ham & cheese sandwich on a pretzel hoagie bun was out of this world. Chicken fried pork chop was outstanding. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Monday Burger Special. BOGO

By macnmiles |

Great Monday nite burger special. Excellent Bloody Mary. Eat at Bar. Good selection of beers and good selection. Energetic atmosphere and multiple TVs for watching sports!

Hamburgers were good, service was slow

By Al W |

We went to The League on their 2 for 1 night and that might explain the slow service. But we were waiting for a table for over 20 minutes when tables that had been cleaned and set up for the next diners sat empty for the longest time. These were table for 2 or 4 so fitting in the waiting diners wasn't the problem. The hostesses sat around chatting while diners waited and tables sat empty. Some management attention and staff training is needed. The food was satisfactory but by no means exceptional. The burgers were prepared as we asked for them. The sides were good but nothing special. There are other places in Austin to go for hamburgers. Try one of them.

Unexpected delight

By Cathy H |

We made a spontaneous stop at the League during our trip to Austin. I checked out the reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. The atmosphere and food were great. We had the salmon hard boiled egg appetizer— yum, prime rib sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich— all great. To top it off as a new customer we were also treated to a chocolate dump cake dessert—- How can you resist!!

Some good specials

By Jon E |

Mondays have two for one burgers. Good number of appetizers, and a large beer selection. The rest of the reviews are pretty accurate. One hint is they seem to cook burgers a little more than you would expect - they tend to dry out. I wouldn't go more than medium-well. The fried pickles are sweet pickles cut very thick, battered, fried and served sprinkled with feta cheese and buffalo sauce on top, served with ranch. Onion Rings are like thick donuts. They will serve burgers and chicken sandwiches without the bread in case you are going low-carb. I will return in the future.

Great Drinks and Food with a neighborhood feel

By George A |

The food is far and above what you will find in most bars. There are plenty of TVs to see whatever sport/team you are interested in. The bar is HUGE and includes booths and tables. There is a restaurant next to the bar which is good for more private seating, families and intimate seating for couples. They have an impressive menu. My favorites are: steak sandwich, shrimp and grits, weekly gourmet hamburgers and of course the truffle fries which you cannot leave out. Service and menu are notable. Great neighborhood bar with plenty of TVs and seating.

Yummy

By mesjournees |

A bit pricier but didn’t disappoint. The meatloaf appetizers were delicious! As were the fried zucchini appetizers. Cobb salad was great. As were the hamburgers. The server was great! That always makes such a difference in the meal!

Mediocre Food, Great Dump Cake Dessert

By JN-FoodieForever |

We stopped by The League Kitchen recently on a Friday evening in search of fish and chips, which, per many online reviews, received top billing from quite a few reviewers. Our experience, unfortunately, was not the best. I arrived early and took a seat at the bar, perused the specialty cocktail list and opted for the El Guapo Shandy, a very good cocktail consisting of ruby red vodka, lemon and lime juices, honey and a splash of cream ale. Refreshing taste! Once seated, we decided to start with the tuna tartare tacos, which could have been better. One consistent theme that emerged during meal is the smothering of dishes with sweet sauces. The tuna tacos were the first fatality of that process. As the picture shows, the dish is soaking in the spicy mayo sauce that was poured all over the tacos and slaw. After digging through the sauce to retrieve the tuna, the tuna was spectacular; and, the few bites of slaw salvaged from under the blanket of sauce were very good too. The sauce overwhelmed the wonton shell "tortillas" which made them pretty soggy. Serving suggestion ... IMHO, sauce on the side, let the diner choose the amount of sauce to use eating the tacos. Main courses included the sought-after fish and chips and the fresh catch of the day special... hot and crunchy trout. When ordering fish and chips anywhere, we stress our preference for fish and the fries "hot out of the fryer" and not food sitting under the lights for any length of time. The fish and chips met that goal 50/50. The fish, super hot to the touch, almost impossible to eat at first (which is what we want! LOL), the batter was nice and thin, the fish tasted great. The fries were slightly above room temperature when served, not enjoyable at all, especially since we had upgraded to the truffle/cheese topping. The "malted tartar sauce" was not very good, we would have preferred just regular tartar sauce. The hot and crunchy trout saw the return of the over-sauced seafood malady. The cornflake/almond crust was really thick, too much for a thin trout filet. (See the partially eaten trout pic for an idea of the thickness of the crust... twice as much crust as fish.) Perhaps a thick piece cod could stand up to that crust. As the tacos suffered, so the trout suffered from a copious amount of chipotle/mango aioli. (See pic of dish as delivered). Does anyone actually like that much sauce? The overly thick crust also fell victim to the over-abundance of sauce, making the crust pretty soggy. Here, IMHO, the same suggestion as the tacos, sauce on the side. Despite the thick crust, the trout was very good, just not a very good dish overall. Note: the online picture of the trout dish shows much less sauce, likely a more appropriate amount and placement on the plate, most of the sauce on the side of the plate, not on the fish and green beans. We finished with a complimentary piece of The League's dump cake, which first time diners are provided. The dessert was the star of the show! It's a "deconstructed" dump cake that many of us had as children (at least I did), very, soft, moist chocolate cake, topped with homemade toffee chips, served with pecans and vanilla bean ice cream. Good combination, great dish! Overall, the service was great! Our server Noah was attentive but not intrusive. He didn't deliver on the hot fries, but he was a good waiter, and explained the restaurant concept and items on the menu very well. The restaurant was not super busy. It has a fun feel, some retro furniture and fixtures, and very moderate noise level. The music was a bit loud in the bar area, but in the dining area that was not an issue. Not sure whether we'll be back, although we may stop by for dessert to have more of the fabulous dump cake!

Great neighbourhood local

By Mandy B |

Parmesan truffle fries and an excellent burger - what more could you want? Friendly service, place was humming but not too loud or over-crowded - very enjoyable visit - will definitely be back.

Best burger in a long time!

By Janie4359 |

First time dining here and it will not be our last. Waiter was very nice and helpful with our ordering. I wanted a Patty Melt, and, although it was not on their menu, he said they could make me one. It was awesome! Cooked medium rare just like I like it! Fries were brought out instead of our order of onion rings, which was an upgrade, so when they onion rings came out later, there was no upgrade charge. Dessert was fantastic, so save room for G-Ma’s Old Fashioned Dump Cake, real treat!

Best steak in town & GF selection

By Centaur4 |

Been in Austin a month and this was by far THE best steak I've had by far. No attempt to mask a poorly cooked cut with spiced rub or sauces here. The beef was superbly cooked - thank you Chef! Also recommend the ribs, again big on tasty beef with a perfect candied glaze. Not overpowered by sauces. Service was great, I could actually see the game and hear myself think, well done to the manager and staff. See you again next trip, my family here will be back soon.

Dinner!

By Thuy Le |

Nice place for a date. Quiet & service is great. Their food is great. Huge portions so both my husband & I cannot finish. Great drinks!

I always enjoy going here

By Doegurl |

I love the cozy feel of the place. They have excellent fish and chips as well as burgers. They have some really decent comfort food. The onion rings are awesome! The only downside is they can get really busy and the tables are very close together. It's loud in there when busy. Definitely more bar than restaurant atmosphere but I always enjoy it.

Great joint

By B W |

Good place for families or dates...good food at a reasonable price...burgers we had were excellent and not too pricey...

New Location

By eakj45 |

The League Kitchen & Tavern has a new Austin, TX location at Avery Ranch. I dined there once before a week ago and they have a very good burger. Today I had a pleasant surprise finding that they have a breakfast entree that can be ordered at any time or day and only $10. It is a three egg breakfast with bacon, hash browns, and biscuit with jalapeno gravy. Eggs were good; but the surprise was the bacon which was three big slices like you would do at home. And the jalapeno gravy had a great kick to it. Plus, great coffee and when I was aked if I needed a warm up; I got a new full cup. They have a great bar set up and both bartenders I have encountered (sat at bar both times) were friendly with great personality and super service. They also have an outside patio that should be very good when it warms up a bit. Located in the shopping center at the SE corner of Parmer & Avery Ranch.

Happy they are in the neighborhood

By jsavner |

We have been coming since they opened and all places have good and bad nights. Seems like the current crew they have working has righted all previous wrongs. Place was packed tonight and dinner came very quickly. Burgers are great. Happy hour prices aren't worth the rush so don't worry about missing them.

Very good bar food

By mmcgannon |

Lots of families in the dining area. Pleasant servers, very good chicken pot pie, fish & chips, salads, " breakfast anytime." Needless to say, many beers available.

Smart Portions for Brunch

By Wendy S |

The food was great, we both had a dpecial egg Benedict w/avacado & chipotle hollandaise. The mimosa & coffee were both good. There was no wait to be seated and the service was pretty good. What we liked the most was that the portioms weren't gigantic so we were satisfied but not bloated when we left. There was patio seating but it was too hot to enjoy it. We will definitely go back!

Great meal!

By Jeff T |

Really enjoyed the meal! We were seated promptly and had wonderful service, and the food was delicious. This is a favorite when visiting family in Cedar Park. We will be back!

Poor service

By horsemomSaratoga |

First, the food was very good. I'm sorry I had to wait an hour to get it. I went here with my family. Arrived just before 5. I had to meet a friend at 6:30 plenty of time, RIGHT. Nope waited an hour for for our food. Wait staff was no where to be seen. No explanation NOTHING. Had to get the bill while I was eating so I could leave. One of my family had a mixed drink $12 smallest drink I have ever seen. Five burgers an order of fries 4 glasses of house wine and two mixed drinks $ 135.00. Really. Not going back. I understand things happen in a kitchen. Would have been nice to know what was going on. AND it was not crowded. One party inside when we arrived and we were the only other party outside. One couple did come half way through our wait. Took an hour to cook 5 meals with only 7 other people in the restaurant. JUST TERRIBLE

Nice surprise......

By MICHAEL D |

Didn't really plan on going but noticed in shopping center. Stopped by for lunch. Good food, attentive service. Was impressed with bar area and menu. Will definitely come back for dinner.

Decent

By wick1979 |

Service was very good. Food is trying to hard to be inventive but they don't get the basic correct. We had a party of 6 chicken pot pie sounded great to 4 of us. Every single pot pie was made differently and was on the dry side. Hopefully there just working out the kinks because the overall bar is very nice with a great tv setup.

Great Food, Awesome Service - A Bit Pricey

By RickyRayJ |

We visited outside of happy hour, and consequently prices were a little spendy. The food was great. I had the Prime Rib Steak Sandwich and it was wonderful. The meat was very tender, the au jus sauce was very flavorful, and the hint of horseradish was just right. The fries that came with it were tasty and not greasy at all. My dining partner had a bowl of tomato basil soup and onion rings. She said the soup was very good. The onion rings were huge and lightly battered with a wonderfully seasoned beer batter. They were hot and tasty. They were not greasy in the least. I had a "drink of the month" Whiskey Sour. It was delicious, and garnished with a sprig of rosemary (I believe ). Excellent! On to dessert. We tried the "dessert of the month" - named "It's Bananas". Oh boy! What a treat. One was more than enough for two people. A delicious banana nut bread (loaded with glazed pecans), garnished with sliced hot Bananas Foster bananas and vanilla ice cream, all covered with Bananas Foster glaze. Absolutely heavenly! Overall it was a great dining experience, albeit a bit pricey, I would return in a heartbeat. Next time, almost certainly, during happy hour. The League rocks!

Great restaurant in strip center

By Jon E |

This is the third or fourth visit in the last year. Each visit has been very good. Its location doesn't hint at the interior - very much like a non-Austin restaurant. High-end descriptions of varied ingredients in each meal. A long beer and wine list with many different specialty cocktails. Burgers, salads and fancier plates have all been good. They don't have call ahead seating and seems they don't take reservations (at least not for four people). It can get crowded - especially in the Tavern side of the restaurant, but it all works. Outdoor seating is on the south side of the building so - that is best for after the sun is going down. Friendly wait staff and a roving manager to make sure everything is going well. It seems silly, but one of my favorite aspects is they use rectangular kitchen cloths for napkins. They completely cover your lap and stay put as opposed to every other restaurants' square napkins. I will return often in the future.

won’t be back

By Holley H |

Not sure where these other reviews came from but we came here to try something new for our date night on a Sunday night instead of our usual spot in downtown Round Rock and regretted it. Everything is far overpriced for the quality/quantity. 1. Waited at least a half hour for the waiter to come back and take our order after we received our drinks. Restarting wasn’t busy. 2. Fish and Chips wasn’t hot. Fries were dark brown slightly warm and tasted like the fryer grease was well overdue for a change. 3. Cobb salad was a paltry serving when considering the $18 price tag plus $5 for chicken. I’ve honestly had a better salad at Torchy’s for $10 hands down. They brought oil and balsamic with an empty balsamic bottle. 4. Bill was $55 for fish and chips, cobb salad with chicken and 2 diet cokes with incredibly slow service. I ended up walking inside myself to get salt and pepper because i knew nobody would be back for a long long while.

Dekicious Food

By Paul G |

Clean, relatively quiet, friendly staff. good menu, huge wine & beer selection. Plenty close parking, well lit, safe. Fish & Chips; awesome, Chicken Pot Pie really good.

Becoming one of our favorite spots

By Colette P |

The first few times I was there was just for meeting friends for happy hour - they have a decent one. After sampling some of the appetizers, we decided to try dinner instead of just happy hour. Well, that one dinner has turned into several and we now encourage our friends to meet us and they have also become fans. We all like the 2 for 1 burger night (Monday) because their burgers are excellent. The fish and chips and grilled cheese are also a hit. They have many choices when it comes to beer if you're a beer lover. Lots of local brews and the wait staff is always very knowledgeable about type, brewery, flavor. It's nice to have a place like this in an area where more decent restaurants are needed.

Nice local Pub

By macnmiles |

Great Sports Bar convenient to Avery Ranch, Brushy Crrek and Walsh Trails. Perfect spot for watching Football and other sports in Bar. Typical Bar fare but nice portions...

Sunday brunch

By Txshrink68 |

We are regulars at this place and are always pleased. The Sunday brunch snack menu is a very good idea. Portions are suitable for one person and prices are also reasonable. One side of the place is a sports bar, and the other side is a typical restaurant. The restaurant side is suitable for families. Staff are attentive, however service can be slow at times. Daily specials liven up the menu. They serve a wide variety of specialty beers and wines.

Very casual

By Teresa M |

Great atmosphere, out door seating lots of options for beer and food. Had artichoke dip, coconut shrimp and wings. Why choose a entree when you have Happy Hour choices at great prices. Wanted to try their homemade moon pie for desert but sadly they were out. Great place to watch the games, plenty of TV's to watch. Check them out I am positive you will be happy.

Dinner with family group

By Becky D |

Great food! Had the Parmesan truffle fries, Country fried pickles (yummy!), Roasted Garlic Hummus, Spinach Artichoke Dip (yummy!), Fat Tire Fish & Chips, Watermelon Salad, Shrimp Lime Salad, Chicken Pot Pie, Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Fried Pork Chop. Everything was very good! Our server was Zoe and she was amazing! Good selection of local beers too!

over priced

By Blueangels |

But for the temporary relocation of the Austin Aztex to the Kelly Reeves Stadium, I doubt we would ever have come across this place. As a pre-match pint venue, it works a treat. As a restaurant, the jury is out. Prior to the match, early on a Saturday evening, it was standing room only. A southern burger and pretzel burger were our choices on the night with truffle French fries. The fries were disgusting. The onion rings, which we also ordered, were enormous, but average. The burgers were adequate but for the price paid, a trip to McDonalds would have been better value for money and tastier! We returned; post-match, for another ale and we enjoyed this much more than the meal. Hope you learn from our experiences! PS – another negative, pints were offered at a special pre match promotion price, yet we were charged full rate!

Always a pleasure

By Tym2Pla |

We arranged to meet another couple who have never been. I had raved about the food and as always it didn't disappoint. Go hungry - servings are very large and I usually bring home about 1/2. I'd really like to consume everything as well as lick the plate but I just can't make that happen. The specials are amazing fried pickles / burgers / truffle fries/ fish and chips / steaks / salads...you can't go wrong with anything you order. Drinks are prepared well and you get what ypu pay for. Selection of DARK /HEAVY beers needs a few additions. Waitress was the best. She was a good sport, very patient, great sense of humor. Looking forward to our next visit.

GREASY food, great atmosphere

By Stephanie D |

The food was extremely greasy BUT the atmosphere/patio are awesome. Skip the food, just drink and socialize.

Where's the pulled chicken

By Mary M |

Stuffed jalapeño peppers did not have pulled chicken in them. They only had cheese. Menu specifically says it had chicken

Ok but has been better in the past.

By travellaw31 |

We like the standard bugers here. They are thick and flavorful. The specials of the day used to be well thought out flavored but recently have just been ridiculous pairings more for shock value than flavor. This is also probably the only place on the planet where my kids won't eat the chicken. Fries are tasty and just the right consistency. I would love for them to expand their menu just a little and go back to good tasty flavors. Maybe time for a new chef?

Kinda Disappointed

By mizbizc |

First of all the wait staff was great, and the parmesan fries, grilled cheese, and cobb salad were delicious. However, the tomato bisque was too thick and too oily. The fish had to be drenched in malt vinegar and tartar sauce to make up for the fact that it was really bland. The lemonade tasted like some powdery mix. Overall, I can't say that I would never eat here again, but I would definitely order something else.

Good experience

By 510dele |

This was a Monday mid-afternoon lunch break. We wanted to sample the acclaimed burgers of the League. We were not disappointed. We found a clean facility, warm staff, prompt service, and an interesting menu. There were only a few others present. We could easily imagine it to be a "hot spot" for events like ball games. We enjoyed the burger of the week. It was a pleasant time, a good sandwich and attentive staff. We will be back.

Awesome food. Great relaxed atmosphere.

By Jenny S |

We go here often. The food is always amazing. The burgers are especially amazing with the truffle fries. Ask for a side of the horseradish pickles (not fried). They rock. Atmosphere is nice but relaxed. The prices are great for the food. And the service is always good.

Service was slow but, worth the wait

By jwirth |

Monday is BOGO night for burgers, therefore the place is stuffed to the walls with people. Happy people, loud people, a lot of people. There is reason for that.......the burgers are to die for, They are huge and they are delicious. I should have taken a picture of the onion rings.....I have never seen them that big! They have a killer menu. I can not wait to try other dishes. On Monday nights, as crowded as it was, the wife was chilly so ladies, you have been warned. The food was wonderful, great atmosphere and good folks,

A late lunch

By dorcasm772 |

Met my brother and Sister in law for a Saturday meal. Everything was well presented, cook to our standards and had good flavor and taste. The adult grilled cheese was great even 2 days later. I ate it cold , I microwaved some and it was still tasty. The salad that came with it was smaller than I had anticipated for the price. My brother had the chicken with sweet potato and a spinach salad ...very good. The burger and fries was so good. The bacon mac was my kids favorite. We enjoyed our meal very well. Worth the lunch.

Always a pleasure!

By Laura H |

My husband and I love this spot! The food is amazing, the drinks are incredible (and stiff) and the staff is nice. The vibe in here feels like a downtown joint but in Cedar Park-- dim lit, but lively; fancy feel but pretty laid back. Everything we've eaten here is great- from the salads to the mac and cheese and even the chicken pot pie. Good spot for happy hour or dinner. Highly recommend!

Good burgers

By Cindy Z |

We had a wonderful meal here. Monday nights are burgers buy one get one free? The burgers are amazing!

Amazing food ,atmosphere, and bartenders

By Dennistp |

My fiancé and I recently moved to the Austin area and chose Avery Ranch as we found the house we wanted while eating lunch at The League. We ended up coming back that evening and Mmet bartender Stacee, Who is the friendliest, perfect personality bartender you could ever ask for. Stacee is the main reason we go back 2 to 3 times a week since we have moved right around the corner. Half off bottles of wine on Thursdays make it extra special! So if you want to go to a great place with good atmosphere and an amazing bartender this is your place!

Excellent lunch in cool setting

By Melissa P |

I was attending an all-day training nearby and was solo for lunch. The League was nearby, and the ratings were good, so I took a chance. The speakeasy decor and mood was sophisticated but cozy. I ordered meatloaf with mashed potatoes. The chipotle gravy was fantastic, and the onion strings were a nice topping as well. My server was attentive, but not overly so. I'd definitely come here again, but maybe not alone next time.

Very much enjoyed it.

By Distant Lights |

Met a couple of friends here recently for some drinks and I wasn't planning on eating dinner. A few guys ordered steaks and they looked so amazing I had to order one myself. The steak was really good along with the mashed potatoes. I really enjoyed the drink menu and the server was friendly. I would have to say that the feel is really more for adults or at least that the vibe I got. The restaurant was just a little over half way full and I didn't see any kids there. My only complaint is that I believe they over served an individual that was seated at the bar. When we first arrived he appeared to be reaching his limit and by the time we left it was apparent that this guy was absolutely wasted. He was drinking alone at the bar and at one point we saw him almost walk into the kitchen because he was looking for the bathroom. He was served one more beer after that which I think was already way too many. Other than that isolated incident, I enjoyed Leagues.

Drinks, Friends & Fun

A very nice selection of local beer on draught including beer you cannot find in stores like Live Oak Hefe and Circl Blur Hefe. The food is very very good. I have tried most dishes and appetizers. This weekend I tried the spinach artichoke dip...it was delicious and perfect pairing for my Circle Blur Hefe. I was there in the early evening before it goes t busy. I was able to see severl NCAA basketball games and the University of Texas baseball alumni game. The hostess and barkeeps are attentive and friendly. Feel to a neighborhood pub, but better food.

My wife and I really like this restaurant. The food is eclectic but very good. The drink selection is excellent and the tavern is a great place to watch a game. Plenty of options with really good specials. Neither too formal or too casual.

Great twist on old favorites; delicious cocktails

I've been here many times for girls night, lunch with my husband or dinner with the family. The food is always delicious and the service is great. I love the variety and quality of the kids menu. My favorite is the Society Burger with the Truffle Fries- to die for! The appetizers are great too- try the fried pickles. My least favorite is the tomato soup- I really want to like it, but each time I order it it's a bit bitter and oily. Drinks are a real treat here- they are known for their craft cocktails. Consistently a win- you won't be disappointed.
