Did not meet expectations

By Briana Wylie |

I want to give this place more stars, because it had great potential. It is very cute with a good menu selection. However, there were several menu items that were not available and it took over an hour to get our food. The kitchen seemed to be preoccupied with doordash and to-go orders. Our waitress was incredible and offered us some chips to hold us over. Once our food did arrive, it was a little bland. Hopefully we just came on a bad day.

DELICIOUS WORTH THE SEARCH

My husband and I just ate breakfast at The Little Farmhouse Cafe! Headed to Athens from the airport I searched TripAdvisor and this is where we ended up! Not easy to find, location is in a business park and it is tucked in the corner. So happy we found this little place! Friendly server and great menu! Lucky for me it was Friday and the everything bagel with smoked salmon was the special!!! This was not the typical lox bagel. The salmon was a piece of freshly smoked salmon with yummy dill cream cheese, tomatoes, and an onion. My husband had the make your own omelette and breakfast potatoes. Everything was fresh and tasty! This place is small, but quaint with fresh flowers and farm tables to sit at. I overheard they are opening a full service larger restaurant nearby. We look forward to stopping here again when visiting our daughter at UGA! Go DAWGS!

Love the new location at suite F-309

We walked into the new location and the layout is so much bigger. There is room for so much more people than before. And the staff are so welcoming and pleasant. We loved the owners too. Tanisha was a pleasure and made our lunch such a wondeful experience. And the ribeye with a biscuit we split. And wow a must get. And the croissants with berries were an awesome finish to such a great meal.

Good Fresh Local Flavor

Tucked away in a business park, worth the extra effort to find (follow the small signs by the entry into the business park). Super-friendly service, order at counter, watch the chefs prepare your meal, sit back and enjoy. We had the Farmer's Breakfast (get the bacon!) and the Hummingbird Sunrise (very good and very rich due to the brown butter brioche). It's on our return list!

First week in new location

Our family of six adults went as a day after Christmas celebration. The pancake is large and extremely dense, so if you are looking for light and fluffy, this is not your pancake. At six dollars for one, choose another item. The burrito was flavorful, rating it a 4 out of 5. The omelet was tasty, probably the best of the orders. The fried potatoes, still very hard in texture, were 3 out of five, and a tepid temperature. The seasonal fruit was a 2.5 to 3. It has grapes, which were the best, strawberries and blackberries. We added an egg to our avocado toast order. It was served with thick slices of tomato, which were good. The eggs would have been better served warmer. This restaurant opened a larger space from a 4 table place, carry-out, and catering space just a week ago, so I know there are growing pains. I would try it again, but would not order the pancake. Clean restroom. Cloth napkins. Good service.

True Hidden Gem

Literally inside an industrial complex, you will definitely think you're lost when following your GPS to this place. But what an interesting concept, renting out a space that's probably super cheap and marketing itself through tasty food, social media and high ratings. I met a friend for breakfast here one day and absolutely loved it. Very casual (pretty small place so keep that in mind) and delicious food. Coffee is serve yourself, which we didn't realize until we kept waiting and waiting and then finally someone told us the coffee station was for dine-in as well. I got the fried chicken biscuit, which was delicious! But I have an unhealthy obsession with both fried chicken and biscuits :-) My friend got the smoke salmon bagel, which he really enjoyed. If you find yourself up in the NE corner of Atlanta (and don't want to leave the perimeter), check this place out for breakfast! A nice "mom and pop" alternative to some of the other over-hyped brunch chains in the ATL.

This place is a must!!

The only reason I give this place 5 stars is because 6 stars is not an option. Love this place. The food is amazing. The owner is so personable. I had the chicken biscuit (+ egg) and it was great. Of course, you have to have the fried croissant with brown butter bacon … or two of those as was our case. They serve alcohol.

Salmon BLT!

Stopped by here at 11:30 for lunch based on friend’s recommendation. The salmon was cooked just right and fresh (we have to wait a few more minutes so that salmon can be cut). The grilled asparagus was perfect. The portion is big, we shared one sandwich and was enough for both of us. It’s a small place, the service is slow and the wait time may be long, but, it’s worth it. Not some place to go if you are in a hurry. Will come back to try out their Saturday brunch.

WOW!

I took my daughter here for breakfast and we were blown away! The food was amazing and the service was very good. There was so much to choose from but the brisket biscuit is a winner in my book! The omelet was amazing also.

Great breakfast choices and super kind owner. I hope that they thrive and continue the great work. We need more awesome unique spots like this!

Great breakfast place

Met family coming back from North Carolina and us from Alabama. Googled restaurants near me at exit 32 and luckily found the Little Farmhouse. Believe me we are not an easy bunch but the service was GREAT, food very good and place super cute. We came in a weird way but found it was a very different location. But so glad we did. Nice to have a diff menu. Oh even if you don’t like grits try the grits!!

Delicious Breakfast!

Wow. This was a trip for us to meet another family member but it was so worth it! They are very Covid conscientious which is appreciated, but more than that, every single item we ordered - and we ordered a lot - was truly Delicious and fresh. Even eggs taste better at places like this rather than a chain restaurant. I hope I get to host an event where I can use this place to cater. Put it on your list!

Lookin’ for Lunch near my brother’s work

Our server Desiree was very friendly, she asked right off if we had been there before. I told her no, but I found them on Tripadvisor. It is a very quaint restaurant, kind of in the industrial section of town, and the restaurant was full for a Saturday afternoon! Desiree took the time to explain the specials and her favorite recommendations. Neither one of us could finish our lunch and I got some blueberry beignets to go. I actually forgot about them until Sunday afternoon when I got home from my trip. I was going to heat them up but I didn’t need to-they were delicious and perfect!

Fantastic Food

By Lunasi |

Our friend recommended this restaurant and yesterday we decided to try it. It is located in the Prep Industrial Park, along side of 85N. It is a bit hard to find, but it did not matter as we go everywhere in search of fresh, good food. What a wonderful surprise! The little space is filled with real warm and friendly people, and we immediately fell in love. And then... the food is fantastic! The young chef and his staff do a fabulous job. My salmon, avocado toast was heavenly! And the home made donut, melted in our mouth. Simply one of the best restaurants we have tried lately. Can’t wait to go again!

Great Breakfast/Lunch Restaurant

By N_and_R |

We had a late breakfast/early lunch at The Little Farmhouse Cafe for the first time. The restaurant is located in a renovated warehouse-type building on a access road next to 85. There was some parking, but probably not enough if they are busy. The building look like a back of a warehouse from the outside, but the interior (no windows) looks very nice and whimsical. The waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. The menu had a lot of items, mainly breakfast/brunch/lunch fare. Blueberry beignets were fun. My husband had the gigantic pancake that he could not finish. I had the grilled veggie sandwich with chicken which was delicious. I believe they have a few vegan items (including the sandwich I had sans chicken). The pricing was reasonable. Highly recommended.
