Food is good, environment somewhat private which I've always appreciated. Bar tenders are polite and but very poorly prepared, pretty ignorant in their trade, but friendly, they just need to study bartending. Its worth going to. It is also close to magic waters which is always a nice hot tub soak after dinner. Look it up.

unique

I have been coming to melting pot for almost twenty years. The last three occasions, the service has been ridiculously slow. It takes an eternity to get a drink and then you are searching for your server to get the next. Everything tonight has been slow, and I almost asked for check mid-meal because we were frustrated. After three poor experiences, we will not be returning..sad as I love this experience. Not sure what the challenge is as the food is not served cooked?? Food has been good though once you get it.

I've been a customer of this restaurant for the past 30 years... It has been one of my favorite of all time... Every special occasion was celebrated in this restaurant. I went last nigh to celebrate my sister Bday. Attention was good, food portions have been reduced to a 75%...food still good quality. But they should advice that portions have been reduced. Portions are for one person, not two. Still in my heart.. will go back buth with this in mind.

Prepare yourself to spend a while here. The food is served in steps and for cooking at the table. Bring people you enjoy spending time with and don't mind sharing food with. The staff was great. Mainly couples there but we can't wait to go back and order dessert with our kids.

Like the title says spend your money somewhere else me and my wife were able to drop off are four daughters and have date night our daughters are young is difficult to do date night the first trip to this Melting Pot was summer of 2016 half a year later the memory of that date night had faded enough that we actually went back and that was our first mistake I have no problem with immigrants my parents are immigrants but unfortunately the waitress that we had could not communicate in English and it wasn't only us that couldn't communicate with her it was a manager that was working the bar that had to come and ask me what my drink was because he couldn't understand what the waitress was saying and that's just the beginning of the Fiasco the portions that she brought out we're so small them my oldest daughter would have thought that it was a side garnish brought it up to the attention the manager and he could have cared last we had a credit for my last visit in the summer of 2016 for a free dessert which took about 15 minutes of back and forth to get them to honor its mind you I confirmed with the hostesses in the front not only at the time of my appointment but also when I walk through the door that it was still valid and that they know about it and I was assured that it would not be an issue but 15 minutes of back and forth about that credit I was at the point that I don't don't worry I'll pay for it after about 5 just to get the hell out of there but at that point it was just too late the manager wanted to prove a point unfortunately for him I am very thorough and I kept the business card of the manager that gave me the credit with a note saying what it was that he was doing as well as the two hostesses confirming that not only did I ask when I arrived I also confirmed it when I made the reservation do yourself a favor stay as far away from this place with your hard-earned money and spend the someone that they'll appreciate it

I absolutely love this place!! I must go at least two times a month or more. The staff is friendly and already know what I like to eat and drink. You might say why go to a place where you cook your own food, but it's so much more then that. It's the atmosphere, the taste and quality of the food, the drinks, and the service they provide. They have happy hour from 5-7 with cheese and dessert for 5 each and half off drinks!!

I loved the food and the restaurant, the only thing I didn't like was the garlic on my cheese fondue... I can't digest garlic and the waitress throw it in the pan before I could say it... Next time I will say "no garlic" before they start adding the ingredients! The taste was amazing but today I don't feel so good

although I've talked to a few of my friends and they are not as excited about this restaurant as I am, I can not say enough good things about this place. It is sooooo ROMANTIC, perfect for proposals, anniversaries, etc. I don't recommend two friends going there or anything. I know you cook your own food, but there is something powerful and special about this, because you share one of those "moments" with your significant other. It is a gem, and hard to get reservations here!

The decor on entering the melting pot is unique and decorative and the lighting gives it a very intimate feeling. We were meeting up with friends on a Saturday night, but it was not crowded and were able to get a table without problems. The melting pot is all about fondue and provides you with options of getting items a la carte or they also have packages that include appetizer, salad, main course and dessert. We went with the package because it was more of a value. The spinach artichoke cheese was delicious, the salads were fresh, the main entree meats came with a good portion along with batter to dip them and a variety of dipping sauces and veggies. Last, but not least, the dessert, which will satisfy even the biggest sweet tooth. The strawberries, marshmallows, rice crispie treats, cheesecake, red velvet cake pieces that you dip into the warm chocolate are delectable. The overall experience is pleasant, the service was good and the portions fill you. The only downside was when cooking your entree meats it would be convenient if there were a little sign or reference sheet on the table to refer to. The waitress did tell us how long to cook items, but you quickly forget.

Best French cusine, fondue!

Very nice place. The menu is for fondues only. Yiou can order combination of seafood, chicken and beef. Fior starteres a cheese fondue with croutons and apples. For desserts a chocolate fondue (the best part of dinner). Staff friendly, they let young children share with you.

Everything about this place is amazing! Its really a unique experience that cant be duplicated anywhere else. The staff is knowledgeable and fun. My family loves the Melting Pot in Miami and find it hard to save some room for the fantastic Chocolate Fondue to finish the evening. I highly recommend!

First time a restaurant ask for my credit card in advance to accept my reservation. It is not a common practice in Miami, not even among the best restaurants in the city, it is an offense to the customer.

We have been to many Melting Pot locations and this one is just as great as all the others, the service was top notch, the food was superb and the entire dining experience was fun!

We came for Our son 13th Birthday celebration , the food is delicious and Our sever Diana is amazing as always Yes we definitely come back soon !

Granddaughter's graduation from elementary school. Went there with my wife, stepdaughter and her daughter who loves this place Food was as always. We had no wine or soft drinks but only water but this was by choice. Place is unchanged from my last visit which took place several years ago but it did not smell of grease.

Our server was EXCELLENT!! She took great care of us all night! The food was also excellent! The pace of the meal was very good;the server allowed us to stay over 4 hours to really take our time and enjoy the evening. The manager also visited our table, asking our advice on a few ideas they are brainstorming. We had a FANTASTIC evening.

This place is great for a romantic/relaxing long dinner ( takes about 2 hours to go through a four-course menu). I love the variety of options and cant get enough of the Gorgonzola filled mushrooms. Granted it can be a bit expensive, the quantity, quality of food and experience are worth it!

The restaurant called the Melting Pot has a great decor and the atmosphere looks calm. I want to get into talking about the food. So, the food wasn't bad. I like the cheese fondues (the cheddar and the other cheese fondue, which I forgot its name) and tasted delicious with bread. The chocolate fondue also taste great. I had the one with the oreo one. You should try!

Hey the Melting pot is the melting pot .... its an experience. The kids like it.. the main courses are just "ok" plus you have to cook your own food.. However the cheese fondue and the chocolate fondue are out of this world...I could go and just eat that... Service was a little lacking.......but the server was nice.

My wife and I have enjoyed countless romantic dinners over the last 20+ years at The Melting Pot. It is well known for being one of the best romantic dining spots in S. Florida and it still is the best. However, this night we decided to bring our girls. We are so glad that we did. Our girls (5 and 9) absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food (especially the cheese and chocolate courses). It was wonderful seeing them enjoy the restaurant that my wife and I have enjoyed for so many years. We were greeted immediately and seated within a minute on a Saturday night (with a reservation of course). Service was great! Our server Albert was very knowledgeable and made us feel at home. We received our drinks before our pot began steaming. The food was delicious and the presentation/cooking is pure FUN! (even more so with the kids). The chocolate course is a 100% must order. Looks like our FAVORITE ROMANTIC RESTAURANT just became our FAVORITE FAMILY RESTAURANT :)

This was really, really a fun evening out for my husband and I. I had heard good things about the restaurant, but hadn't had a chance to go before. We were unfamiliar with how it all worked, but our server walked us through everything. We ended up choosing to have the classic 4 course meal. It was more than enough food for the two of us and delicious. The fondue was incredible and we really enjoyed cooking our own entree much more than we thought we would. Delicious chocolate fondue for desert. There are multiple options with each course and we were in and out within about 90 minutes. The only negative I have to say is the 18% gratuity that is automatically added to the bill. We have a fantastic server, so that was fine, but I'd have been a little miffed if service hadn't been that good. I would recommend this for couples or even families with older kids... Not sure I would take little ones there as the fondue and cooking pots get quite hot, but I did see families with small children there when we visited.

It was entertaining to see the server light our fondue pots and stir two different cheese fondus and another chocolate fondue after dinner. The dinner part was the problem, meats dipped in hot oil. I was feeling sick after initially indulging in this part of the meal. Too much greasy food. If I visit again, I will eat a small meal at home and order only the cheese and chocolate fondus. And wash it down with their yin-yang martini which on that evening was one of the best martinis I've had.

this restaurant is even worse than I remembered! The concept was not explained by the staff very well. I question how a customer is supposed to know how long a piece if duck should stay in a fondue pot till its done??? Totally not worth the time or the money!

Large portions exceptional flavors wonderful atmosphere Meats and vegetables and fruits were very fresh. The dessert/chocolate fondue had so many delicious dipping items

Great service by Romario and his manager Andrea. They were always checking up on us, very attentive and genuinely enjoyed small conversations. They even removed an upcharge we made for our anniversary. Aside from the A-mazing service they’ve changed up their menu which I think many might not know. Their loaded baked potatoe cheddar fondue was a great twist to a cheese fondue. They’ve added a cast iron grill as a cooking style in addition to its broth and its amazing (Ask for salt to add a touch to the meet). Lastly their new s’mores chocolate fondue, which was with milk chócalate and marshmello mixed and for a $10 fee we added macaroons, cheesecake and cream puffs as another side for dipping in this chocolate/marshmallow dip. Very impressed with the new menu options and their bar in the main entrance was an amazing decor and atmosphere. Give it a try (even if you’ve gone but haven’t gone in awhile like us). Totally different experience. Love love

Skip the entrees which are way overpriced and unappetizing and go for the cheese fondue and dessert.

I am a little disappointed with the quality of the food, I have been going to melting pot for over 15 years and yesterday the food wasn't the same. I ordered angus beef and it came two pieces, one of them the entire piece was fat. I compliant to the waiter ( I was not impressed at all by him, not a good waiter) and he said he was going to talk to the manager, nothing was done. We also order the chocolate fondue, and the strawberries were not fresh, it looked like they put sugar and let it stand for days like that. Disappointed!!!

We went for 1st time and we enjoyed it so much. Dark and Warm perfect for a couple. And we cooked our own food.

This was a very important romantic dinner and due to the "private, romantic and quiet" booths they offer, I thought this was great for a romantic encounter. I made reservations, reservations were taken and kept, the maitre offered a private romantic setting for $17 and change extra to our tab for candle light, scattered rose petals and curtains for privacy. Everything sounded perfect. At our arrival everything was beautifully set, our server was gracious and wonderful and explained thoroughly the cooking process, offered wine, wine was a delicious chardonnay and everything was going well. 20 minutes into the process, we started sweating like crazy because there is little air in the back of the place. I regret having ordered the entree because it was all sorts of cajun meats to be cooked in this steamy broth adding to the sweating, we smelled like chicken bouillon and everything went down hill....it got so bad that we asked for the dessert to go (that was included in the meal) because we could not take the heat anymore. The quality of the cheese and the kirsch was different and scarce and we got more white bread than the healthy whole wheat. So the romantic dinner became a soggy sweaty uncomfortable experience that totally killed it! Overpriced for the declining quality.

Food is good because you cook it yourself. Low light, romantic atmosphere. Great for a dessert date.

I have had Fondue in Switzerland before but I have to say the cheese fondue first course was the best I have had. It's probably me but just cheese and bread can be too much. Here, they gave you bread, vegetable and fruits so very good. The chocolate fondue was also good. The main course we selected to grill to cook the meat. It was very slow and in the end we were bored with it, and it wasn't that exciting taste wise. (I have been to other restaurant which have BBQ grills and that was fine. This one was so slow e.g. a prawn should take next to no time. It took at least 10 minutes and even them wasn't sure it was cook.) Big tick for having everything marked that was Gluten free and also the serving staff were very aware of the need to get it right.

Food options are great as usual, but we were assigned a brand new waitress that was kind of nice but lacking training on their own meal options.

I just had dinner earlier this evening (Tuesday March 13th, 2018) at the - Melting Pot Rest. located in Kendall. I made reservation over the phone one day before (Monday March 12th, 201). I specifically mentioned we wanted to seat in the front of the restaurant (because the rest of the restaurant is darker and isolated). The lady over the phone mentioned me that there were no availability for a party of five in the front (near the entrance, close to the bar), Having a toddler, we asked if for the table of 4 we can pull a separate chair in the corner, which they knowledge to be possible). Reservation was at 7:30pm, we arrived few minutes before, they accommodated us in a 4 person table and pulled a chair un the corner as offered. While I was approaching the assigned table, I asked for the two middle tables (semi-circular booth tables next to ours). The host that walked us in told us that those two tables were not available. Food was delicious, service was great (Kristen was our waitress, incredible good service), We were not Confortable having to managed a 5 persons into a 4 people table. In the mean time from 7:15pm we arrived until we left (almost 10:00pm) we attached the two tables completely empty for the entire night. It was notorious that we were not conformable and we specifically request upon our arrival to be seated in one of these two tables. After finishing our dinner and paying the bill for $227 dollars, I gave Kristen our waitress a $60 tip) for a total bill of $287. We asked Kristen for the Manager, after telling her as supported by our nice tip, that the reason for calling the manager has nothing to do with the service nor the food. Few moments after, a gentleman who identifies by the name of JAMAL (or at least that's how is sounded), as the manager in charge, we communicated to him our experience about sitting into a 4 peoples table while having these two tables next t us completely empty for the entire night, having us requested to be sitting there when we arrived, and after being told over the phone when we did our reservations the day before. This Manager (JAMAL), started to explained us that those tables have double burner and in order to be seated there we had to specifically ask for it, and is not relevant to the number of person in a party. When we asked why this was not communicate it to us, and what has to do with the burners if what we wanted was more space, JAMAL, never let me speak, has a defensive position with a never ending non-sense explanation, poorly managing a fair complain from a customer. This situation could it be handled differently, JAMAL is not the indicated person to handle clients fair complains, or he was poorly trained. There were no rational on his explanation, the client is always right never crossed his mind, the possibility for a client to do a bad review was not on his thoughts. A simple apology or a rationale explanation or gift card or discount card or just keeping quite while explaining the situation to JAMAL would have make a big different in our experience. I still don;t understand while they couldn't get us those table were they are for 5 seats (I counted the 5 utensils in each table) as opposed to four in ours. After visiting the restaurant for few years it would be hardly difficult for us to visit it again. I would advise clients to clearly asked about sitting requests and explain the options and about single or double burner differences (which we didn't need, but more space to sit together). I would appreciate to include me in your distribution email and notify me when JAMAL would be absence so I can have it as s possible day to visit the Restaurant again. Feel free to reach me should you have any comment or question about my comments. Cordially yours, and expecting you take measures in order to avoid this to happen to future clients. Ivan Pulido

Really enjoy our annual Birthday celebration we have at the Melting Pot in Miami off Sunset. First time with our 7 year old and he too enjoyed it like we do annually. Service was excellent (Romario was our server) and food as usual great. My favorite every year for my Birthday and we will be back!

I absolutely LOVE melted cheese, and melted chocolate, so this place should be perfect for me, right? Well, not so much. While the re-vamped restaurant is a feast for the eyes, and our waiter couldn't have been sweeter or more friendly, the food itself was not impressive. I let my guest choose what we ate, so maybe that was the problem and I am planning to go back and try choosing for myself, but just from this one experience, we paid a LOT of money for a so-so meal. The cheese was mixed with wine and herbs I didn't care for, the bread and meat were just average quality and I didn't even bother with dessert. I was disappointed, but am hopeful it was just that one experience

I can honestly say I had a great experience at this restaurant from the moment I called to make reservations for my daughters' birthday. The staff even over the phone were most courteous and accommodating and the experience was the same in person. I hadn't been here in a while and it looks great, the bar area and lobby are very nice as well as the dining rooms. Servers are most courteous. Food was delicious, atmosphere was fun. Celebrated my daughter's birthday here along with her friends. Not one complaint- very satisfied and would return again!

I went with a friend of mine and I had made the reservation online. When we got there the host asked us if we had a reservation and if we had been there before. I said yes but we where early and no we had never been there. Well gotta say right after we got seated our server came by and greeted us and he already knew it was our first time. He explained the whole process and got our drinks going. His personality was amazing he contribute to us having an spectacular experience. Would recommend for couples or very good friends. Wouldn't say its a family place

This is a fun experience for a couple on a date. The food is good, the experience is fun, and since you smell like cooking oil after you finish the meal you need to go home and take a shower together. Fun.

Never got seated and only got served wine and cheese in the span of two hours. Do not recommend this location due to poor service and disrespectful management.

I was very satisfied with the food and service, We just did Cheese and Chocolate on this visit and it was just perfect as we had an early dinner. The Alpine cheese was finger licking good and the S'mores chocolate was divine! My Server Ashley was great. She was attentive, personable, explained things well and most importantly engaged with my children. She made them feel welcome and they enjoyed the experience more because of her interaction. The store manager Calvin was the second highlight of the visit in regards to employees. He came to visit the table after my daughter colored a picture for St. Jude and gave her a wonderful compliment and simply made the night! The conversation was pleasant and genuine Calvin and Ashley are true assets. We look forward to our next visit as a family in the months and years to come!

The restaurant is a great idea, however it needs updating. Carpets smell badly, food portions are small for the amount charged. However, the server was excellent. Best part of our dinner.

Anne was our server and made the evening memorable her personality shined and the food was great thank you we will be back soon

I love this restaurant, is something different, is entertaining, is a very nice restaurant, cozy and very nice, my husband and I have gone many times and I always love the fondue from the appetizer cheese fondue that has many varieties is super rich, then the variety of dishes with shrimp, lobster, filet mignon and chicken are an excellent combination of meats and seafood , and then the dessert is spectacular fondue with chocolate, I always ask the chocolate black and white yin and Yang, with a dish served with strawberries, marshmallows in chocolate, cheesecake, banana and more. This restaurant is an excellent choice I've been with my husband alone but also have been family and believe me is unique experience

Fun way to do food. Definitely different from the standard place. Lets you be in charge and experiment different tastes. Worth at least a visit.

We went because I had a groupon and we tried the entrees. Horrible. No flavor on the meats and just boring food. The cheese appetizers were delicious. We had the cheddar and we wanted to try with the apples but they had run out. For desert we had the flaming turtle and that was the best part. They pour walnuts into the chocolate so be aware for people with allergies. It is a bit over priced.

The cheese fondue, the meat in oil, the chocolate fondue. We go there a couple of times a year and are never disappointed. The staff are helpful, and always seem efficient. This time we went for the spinach and artichoke cheese fondue - the best we have tried. We always go for the standard main course. Great fun cooking with batter and dips.

We always go here for any special occasion, It is super good fondue and the desserts are absolutely amazing as well. The decor is incredible and the staff really know how to make guests have a good meal.

I had not been to this restaurant chain since they closed the location here in Providence, and so it was nice to see this one while visiting family in the Miami area. It was also nice to see that they had an a-la-carte menu since we eat a whole lot less than having to do the 'four course' menu. We really enjoyed the Classic Alpine cheese fondue with a salad. They included veggies with the bread for dipping and that touch pleased us all in our group of three. I hope to enjoy this place again when I am in the area or wherever I see this restaurant during travels.

I have been here twice and it definitely was not my choice to eat there. It is expensive so that I can cook my own food and it really has no taste. I get better service at Publix.

During our recent visit to The Melting Pot's happy hour, everything was flawless! The cocktails we had, which were gin and bourbon-based, were perfect. What really stood out, however, was the bartender, Anne. Her warmth and friendliness aside, she also had an incredible knowledge of the drinks she served. She took the time to understand our preferences and provided recommendations accordingly, ensuring we were happy with our choices. The overall bar service was exceptional - prompt drink service and attention to detail in drink presentation. If you're seeking a place to unwind after a long day, The Melting Pot's happy hour is the perfect spot. The bar service is exceptional, and Anne's contributions make it even better. Without hesitation, I highly recommend giving The Melting Pot's happy hour a try!

Hands down this is my favorite restaurant. This particular location is by far the most impressive atmosphere by far. The details and fine art work is just the beginning. The owners have truly taken pride in their location and have not skimped on any part at all. Looks, presentation, food, staff...they have hit it out of the park here!!

Excellent food, wonderful wait staff, I love this place!

We enjoyed out experience, the food was well timed and thought out. Our waitress Kelly K was attentive and had an enjoyable personality. Great food good service, will ba back.

I loved the cheese fondue and the chocolate fondue. The entree course was okay. Honestly I'm happy with just the cheese and the chocolate. Service is friendly. It's a fun thing to do periodically.

This was my first time to The Melting Pot and my wife and I had a very enjoyable dinner. It is a multi-course, unrushed dining experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. You start of with a cheese fondue (we had a traditional gruyere and emmental cheese with white wine). It was perfect for dipping bread, apples and even vegetables. Next was a house salad (it was ok, but salads are not really my thing). For the main course, my wife had an Asian inspired dish with duck, pot stickers, shrimp and chicken and had the "French quarter" which included beef, chicken, shrimp, and andouille sausage. The food came marinated and you dip it into a broth in the fondue cooker to cook it. This takes a minute or two. I was a little disappointed in the flavor of the meats we cooked ourselves. The entree is the most expensive part of the meal and probably the least tasty. For dessert, we had the cookies and cream fondue which was a dark chocolate and marshmallow fondue. It was delicious and came with a wide variety for desserts to dip such as strawberries, brownies, cheesecake, etc. My suggestion is to go for the cheese and/or the chocolate fondue. Those are amazing and may be the perfect start to a night of the perfect finish. Save yourself the money and skip the main course as they just don't taste nearly as good and you would hope when boiled in broth. As an example, have you ever cooked a filet mignon by boiling it? Probably not, but that is what you would be doing here. I will be back, but probably for dessert.

well I want to start off by saying that i love going to the melting pot , i gave it a 3 rating just because every other time I've been there the service has been great. I decided to go to the melting pot this past weekend with my husband and everything was horrible , our waitress must have been new but she had no customer service skills she didn't even know what a mojito was, upon ordering every time i ordered another drink she would make a face like if it was so much trouble she took long with our food and was a mission to order because we barely saw her thru our night . another big issue was our drinks we had to send them back twice because they had so much alcohol in them that it was plain out disgusting . We ordered the ying yang dessert and was brought out cold and it never got warm on the table top. what a disaster through out the night honestly for wasting 200 dollars in dinner i would have expected so much more. every other time i visited its been great this time i was truly disappointed .

Nice ambient. Very good food. Great place to talk. Good service. Nice selection of food. Very well prepared. Nice cozy table with curtains . Nice surprise for the anniversary. The restaurant even prepared a congratulations letter for us signed. $15 dollars for the special table and roses on the table . Recommend extra

What makes this restaurant stand out from the crowd is the unique concept of participating in "cooking" what you eat. It is fun and engaging! Really, go for the cheese fondue, much better than the meats and vegetables: their creative cheese concoctions are mouth-watering and delectable! The down side to this restaurant is the risk of getting burned in the process. I was especially worried about my 6 and 4 year old, particularly because the burner doesn't leave much available space at the table away from the burner. Have they heard of induction? Another negative byproduct is the stench of the fried food in your clothes. If it weren't for the relatively high price, and the long time a visit takes, we'd do it more frequently.

My kids love this place. Today we went to celebrare my sons acceptance to college. Lorena was our server. She was great! And Andrea was fantastic too. She even packaged our broth so I could use it to make clams tomorrow. Only frustrating thing about melting pot is when you call last minute to make a reservation they always give you a hassle and say they don’t think they have availability. Then they are usually able to “squeeze you in”. It’s kind of ridiculous bc when you get there you can tell there’s plenty of available tables. Not sure why they do this. But it’s an awesome restaurant and really entertaining for kids.

Always a unique and satisfying experience, the Miami Melting Pot allows you to relax, unwind and connect with your dining companions whether it's family, friends, or romance. You can spend time savoring delicious cheese fondues, entrees and magnificent varieties of chocolate dessert fondues in a luxurious, unhurried fashion. The current menu allows for every taste and preference where you can eat simply or lavishly and decadently! You will have a wonderful time whether you are looking for healthy options or indulgence and delicious decadence. Enjoy!

Very impressed with the excellent food, the service and the romantic ambience of these place. The sat us on a booth, the lights were dimmed and the server was superb. Ying yang dark chocolate fondue was the best ending to a great meal.

Amazing night spent at The Melting Pot Miami having a fabulous four-course fondue dinner. Started out with their Octoberdest beer cheese with pretzels, short rib, and sausages. The cheese is so perfect and goes very well with everything. Next, the meal was followed by a California salad of greens with gorgonzola cheese and walnuts which was so flavorful I could've kept eating it all night. The main course was terriyaki steak, chicken, shrimp and more of those fabulous sausages. The flavors were just so good that I am dreaming of having more. Lastly, the chocolate fondue which was served with an assortment of dipping items like strawberries, bananas, apples, waffles, and cream pufffs. The milk chocolate was just the right combination for everything. The drinks were made strong and flavorful. My Dark and Stormy was made perfectly. The Ying and Yang dessert martini was delicious and both my wife and I shared it and wished we would have ordered one each instead. Service wise, impeccable! The manager was around to ensure our experience was memorable and the wait staff were full of personality, charisma, and always around to make sure we had everything we needed. Great spot for a date night, for a nice conversation over dinner, or to celebrate a birthday or another important moment.

My kids surprised me with a birthday dinner at the Melting Pot. The servers are fully aware of Gluten Free eating and really made me feel comfortable. My whole family had a wonderful dinner and of course the dessert was outstanding!

It is a nice restaurant, the service was OK waitress were very kind but new on the job, did the best she could. Since my wife makes fondue's and is very good at it, I personally did not think that they could compete with her's, although our children enjoyed theirs. Guess you should never go and order something that is made perfect at home for you will never find a better place. Personally I would not go back since I will find a great fondue at homw.

It is a a totally different experience than any other you will encounter in Miami. I like it best in the winter because it reminds us of being in Europe or Canada. The kids really enjoy cooking their own food. A little pricey though, works for a special occasion.

We have been here before and nothing has changed The entire meal is like an event Our server Juan was the best ,very entertaining and informative He made great suggestions with the meal and made it a pleasurable experience This is a fun experience and we will return

No matter how many times I visit The Melting Pot, I never am disappointed! Satisfies my every craving; delicious cheese and chocolate fondues, new menu items and variations on the theme. I am always curious as what new cheese offering or salad they have. My favorite entree is the French Quarter, although I really like the variety of options they have so each person can individualize their entrees. The staff always aims to please. My favorite place to kick back and indulge!

I came to the melting pot by myself to enjoy a little me time instead IIt was a disaster the cheese came out first and was OK then the food came out and everything I cook totally stuck to the bottom of the pan still getting me a new panshe turn the heat down so I only got to enjoy one shrimp and one mushroom then the manager asked me what was going on and I told him but that time I couldn't even bear to waste anymore time trying to cook my food after I took two hours they brought me a chocolate because it came with the kids menu and then they still ended up charging me just $30 the price of the homeo well I didn't even get to enjoy the food the man you said I took $10 off I was since I sold this place it has gone straight downhill I would not recommend this place to anyone this is the one in Sunset Miami Florida I am very disappointed because I have been coming here for way over 30 years and I think this will definitely be my last time ever Since Calvin left and he was the manager part owner of this place has gone straight downhill The atmosphere stinks I am pretty much so there's more than half the staff would not recommend this to anybody

This is what amazing customer service is in Miami... the people here really make you feel so special and I can't tell you how welcome it is! I came here today to celebrate finishing chemo, I came right before I started, and I visited once or twice during, and everyone here has remembered me and supported me throughout this journey. The teamwork that I see here at this restaurant really is a testament to what incredible people they have here. This will always be our number one go to place whenever we get to have a night out! I'm so grateful for all the hugs, GREAT food, fun memories and love you get here! Iria especially, such a gem!

The Melting Pot is more than to place to eat, it is a place to celebrate a one of a kind meal. My wife and I always enjoy celebrating our anniversary there. We start with the cheese foudue' the mean course and end the night with chocolate fun due. While it is not a quick meal, takes to or more hours, and cost for two is well over$100.00 with the tip. The Melting pot is well worth the time and money. Does not matter if there only two of you or more.it is the celebration place.

So disappointed! Let me start by saying that the extra card is due to the wonderful customer service provided over the phone. The ladies who answered the phones the various times I called were very kind and professional. Came here for free cheese fondue day. The place absolutely reeks! Our cheese fondue had a horrible bitter taste, and let me tell you that I love all kinds of cheese! The bread was so stale and the other snacks to dip in the cheese were just awful. I won't be coming back, even if it's free!

Definitely one of my favorites in Miami. The Kendall location and the fondues are the best I have had. The ambience allows for casual and romantic. The plates are perfect and you must have the chocolate fondue can’t be missed.

This restaurant is a great place to go to when you are looking for something different to do. You can make it a romantic night or go with a big group. The Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant, where you cook your own food. The quality of food is pretty good. The best deal is to get the Big Night Out, which includes cheese fondue with bread, a salad, meat or chicken for your entree with potatoes and vegetables. It also includes dessert, which is the best part of the meal. They give you a platter of fruits and sweets to dip into a chocolate of your choice. It can get expensive, so I would recommend it more for a special occasion.

We were really looking forward to doing our first fondue. But the experience was really not worth the effort. The biggest reason was our server. She had a very bad attitude - twice she tried to take my plate away while I was eating from it, she would not explain the menu, and actually brought the check before desert arrived. The restaurant is a little dark and played 80's music... The food was good but not good enough to overcome the server and the poor, outdated interior.

First date staple..if you don't mind stinking a bit when you leave.

A great atmosphere. The fondue is delicious- try the dessert

We always go there for our anniversaries, but this time the cast made it extra special for us by decorating the table for us. The food, as always was amazing!

A you celerbrating an anniversary, or other special day? The Melting Pot is the answer. The food is more than great, it is fun. Three course of romantic dinning. If you have never enjoyed the Melting Pot, what are you waiting for? Not cheep, Not fast food, just GREAT.

I went there with some friends to have a cheese fondue. I was really expecting something really good but although it was not bad, it was not the best fondue in town as some friend told me. I need to re-visit this place to see if it's better

I was so excited to return to Melting Pot after so many years. I have fond memories of dinners with family and friends and when my diet changed I had to put Melting Pot behind me. Guess what? Not any more. They offer a separate Vegan Menu and you can still enjoy the unique experience with your non vegan family and friends! Their menu offers 4 courses which includes an appetizer cheese fondue, a salad, the entree fondue and lastly, the chocolate fondue for dessert. Our server, Madison was courteous and professional. She walked us through the ins and outs of the dippers and cooking process with ease. I have tested, cooked and eaten various vegan foods and can honestly say that the cheese fondue was amazing! This was my favorite part of the meal and we agreed that we would keep the cheese pot on for our entree dippers in the future. The chocolate fondue was also delicious. In addition to the fruit, I would love to see some vegan cake, cookie and marshmallows added to the dessert dippers. We thoroughly enjoyed our girls night out and I’m happy to say that I can finally take the Melting Pot off the back burner and add it to my list of fun and yummy restaurant options!

I booked a table online and then adjusted the time on the way due to traffic. They seated us quickly but the next table had kids screaming and drumming the fondue sticks. I immediately had to request a new table or we'd have left, I can't believe these people are allowed to be in a restaurant where I would expect special occasions and proposals. They did move us far enough away and we had a very nice experience, but it did take us about 3 hours and it was the most expensive meal we've ever had in a restaurant. The place was clean, service was good, food was delicious. Recommend.

We had to wait awhile to be seated and a little while before the a waitress came. They had a special of the kids meal for free with adult entree. We got a bottle of wine and ordered the "devine" four course meal which consisted of your choice of cheese fondue, salad and dessert. We had the traditional swiss cheese fondue. It is prepared at the table. Unfortunately she added too much garlic and the kids didn't want to eat it. It comes with bread, apples and grapes for dipping. The salad was next. My husband had the Caesar salad and I had the special strawberry, mozzarella and tomato. I loved my salad. Very fresh. For the entrees my son had the teriyaki steak and my daughter had the shrimp, chicken and salmon kids meal. Her favorite was the salmon. Our meal consisted of lobster shrimp, ravioli, chicken, vegetables and steak. Nothing is seasoned and you have a choice of cooking broth. We went with the standard one. The flavor comes from the sauces-cocktail sauce, a cream cheese (dill)?, sweet sauce, mild mustard, chili, and another sauce for the chicken. Unfortunately. The sauces didn't add that much flavor. We got the ying yang chocolate which has white and milk chocolate. It comes with pineapple, pound cake, rice crispy treat, oreo and marshmallow for dipping. This was really yummy. The total with a bottle of wine was about $130. Pros-go for the cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. They have a special at the bar that looked like a pretty good deal. Cons-slow service, main course lacking flavor, having to look at unclean table next to us for awhile.

My wife and I went to TMP to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. Staff did all they could to make the occasion a good experience. Very courteous and attentive staff. We had a great time!

I don't like the smell of hot oil while eating. This is just more of a fad than anything else, there is nothing wonderful about it.

I used to go on special occasions, very dim romantic and nice service. Unfortunately this last time was very disappointing, it smelled like dirty and the place looked that's needed an upgrade and good cleaning, will not go back unless there is a change. The steak was cooked as requested and food was about same choices. Expensive for what I expected.

We didn't make reservations because we arrived on a Monday at 6PM, which is not an overly busy time. The restaurant was barely full, but they said they couldn't seat the 4 of us until almost 2 hours later. We questioned all the open tables and they said it's the way the assign the servers because the server does all the set up. Understood, but with fondue, we do the cooking, so that was odd. But, they did seat us at the bar, and burdened the bartender with having to serve dinner to 4 people. And, it was awkward for the 4 of us to cook fondue and use the grill for the entree. It is inexplicable that they can't seat us at one of several empty tables because the waiter needs to give us a lot of attention, but they can seat us at the bar and make bartender do the waiter's job...while knowing how awkward it is for 4 people to do fondue cooking at the bar. Inefficient management. The bartender worked extremely hard and was great. The food was fresh and very good. Not sure if we would return.

I always loved fondue. Here you can find a good menu for your fondue experience. Everything prepare in a delicious way. You can enjoy from classic cheese blend, like brie and cheddar to a robust, aromatic and and rich in flavor, like gorgonzola, gruyere. Cheese blends prepare with beers or wines. The ambivalence is unique. Very reserved and isolated from other customer tables. Don't think because you are eating at a "portion menu" restaurant you will leave hungry. The 4-course menu is heavenly enough, cheese fondue: with different breads, apple, vegetables; follow by salad; entrée: choose among sirloin, filet mignon, duck breast, chicken breast, sausage, lobster, shrimp, veggies. And, last but not leat, chocolate fondue, choose among milk, dark or white chocolate, with wine, liquor or even pure, and enjoy it with marshmallow, brownies, banana, strawberry, pineapple, pound cake... You will enjoy the food, the fondue preparation ritual, the ambiance...

It was amazing. The price makes sense because it was very fancy. The food was great especially the chocalate(:

I've been to other Melting Pot restaurants but this one was sub standard. It smelled bad, potatoes we got were rotten, our waitress tried to be sympathetic but forget so many things, so many times that it became a serious frustration. Will never go back again.

This place is the typical date night place for young couples. My hubby and i went to a melting pot about 20 years ago in NMB and decided to give it another try. We had the appetizer, cread, meat, veggie, seafood dessert dish and it was not good. No taste, no nothing. worse was the EXUBERANT price charged for such a terrible meal. Wont be back (unless my young daughter ends up forcing us to go as she has stated)

Pots of melted cheeses, pots of melted chocolates AND a full bar!! Can't go wrong here, something on the menu for everyone.

My young adult children wanted a special holiday dinner and chose the Melting Pot in Miami. I think they chose it because it had been the place of so many fun times as young children. Well, it has changed. It was hard to get them to accommodate one of us with a shellfish allergy. They weren't busy but they were very slow. We sat for a while between transitions of the meal and had to wait for the check and ask twice. It is very dark inside and I believe it is very dirty. It had a moldy smell at the entrance and an "old grease" smell in the dining area. The food was ok but nothing special. It is high-priced considering you cook your own food. Disappointed.

Extremely friendly waiters and an amazing experience. Would recommend to all! PS totally recommend getting the tabletop grill for an easier experience if coming for the first time.

We had never been to a fondue restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. Romantic place to dine and a unique experience.

Our waitress Kate was amazing. Took her time explaining everything and was very patient with us. Food was amazing. Everything was perfect

I have been coming to this location since it was located further down Sunset on 98th Ave! Many birthdays and other celebrations have been enjoyed by my family and me with great fondue and service. But last night was by far my best experience yet and it was all due to our lovely server, Kaylin! She is upbeat, knowledgeable, and it's undeniable she sincerely enjoys ensuring her guests are well taken care of. I even noticed the folks at the table next to ours commenting about how great she is when she walked away from serving them their drinks. Whatever we needed, Kaylin provided for us enthusiastically. Also, you'll want to consider her suggestions. I never thought I'd opt for the "Flaming Turtle," but I'm really glad I followed her advice. Yum!! Exceptional service, scrumptious food, and the intimate and warm atmosphere made our night here the very best!

Quality food, unique method of serving food, fondue style. Something different. Casual, unhurried dining. Quiet.

Service great, food is very good. Such a different experience. 4 stars because service took a little longer, but definitely coming back!!

Eating Fondue it's an experience whether it's cheese or meats it is a romantic intimate time dining to be enjoy with your mate

I was unsure what I'd think as a chain restaurant, but boy, you'd never know it is. The atmosphere felt upscale but not pretentious. Our wait staff, Kelly and Susan, were amazingly attentive and friendly. We got the four course option and the food was delicious. I highly recommend The Melting Pot Miami.

I️ went on a date night with wife to this restaurant. I️ have never been to The Melting Pot before. I️ was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is dimly lit for a romantic atmosphere. This restaurant is different from other restaurants with the way you are served and the way you eat the food. You either like it or hate it. The server brings you the food and then you cook it. The menu consist of chicken, steak, seafood and veggies. All the food is cooked inside a pot that contains different types of broth. The fondue was delicious. All the broths have fancy names but in the end they are broths. The desserts are delicious and once again you dip them in chocolate. The restaurant is very clean, the servers are helpful and friendly. The service with the food was quick. The restaurant is a little pricey. But I️ do recommend the restaurant for a night out.

Took my wife here for valentines and we had an enjoyable evening. Service and food were excellent. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The only thing to keep in mind is the prices are rather steep but for a special occasion who cares. The lighting is very subdued to encourage closeness in couples. Keep up the good work.

You will walk out smelling like a grease trap but it IS a fun date place. I love their cheese fondue with bread cubes and apples and the dessert chocolate is the bomb.

It was just my husband and I, so we asked for the romance package. It was very private and everything looked beautiful. The food was great as always.

We are pretty much regulars at this restaurant. We enjoy the long dinner with our kids since it's a nice time for us to chat. The atmosphere is very relaxing and food is always great. The service is definitely what also makes this place amazing. We have never had a bad experience as far as service is concerned. I know they customer service standards are pretty high since it's always consistent. The last few times we have been to this restaurant we met a waiter named Joseph. While we have always had great service, I feel Joseph goes above and beyond. Amazing waiter and we really enjoy all his stories and the knowledge about different topics he shared with our kids. Definitely a rock star! We now ask for him every time! Hoping he gets recognized with this review! People like him make all the difference!
OUR BEST VALENTINE'S DINNER WAS AT THE MELTING POT IN MIAMI
As soon as my fiancee and I walked in the highly decorative restaurant, we were greeted by the nicest and most welcoming hostess (Jazz), she showed us a fun Photo Booth the restaurant had set up for anyone celebrating the Valentine holiday. We took the funniest pictures with props & wigs while our table was getting ready, it was so much fun! After the photo shoot, they gave us the cutest complimentary framed picture with the melting pot logo on it to cherish our Valentine dinner experience, and that was just the beginning.... After we were seated in our own secluded & private booth, we were given a Valentine's day menu that although it was fixed for the holiday, it really had everything we were looking for! Our server (Anthony) eloquently gave us the run down of the night's menu advising us wisely toward the choices listed. We firstly chose the delicious Quattro Cheese (4 cheese) as the starter, (THAT CHEESE SHOULD BE KEPT ON THE MENU FOREVER!) followed by the Cupid Combo ( THAT CONSISTED OF ASSORTED STEAKS, SHRIMP, CHICKEN, RAVIOLI AND VEGGIES). Also we were offered 3 different types of dinner salad included with our meal (CHOSE THE HOUSE SALAD). Your tummy will be more than satisfyingly full after these courses that you will have trouble saving the tummy room for the BEST part of your holiday dinner, the dessert! For dessert we chose the ( CANDY BAR ). This menu item consisted of melted milk chocolate fondue that was drizzled with butterscotch schnapps and Bailey's Irish creme! We dipped our fruits and assorted desserts scooping up every last bit of it until it was all gone. IT WAS A FUN DESSERT MASSACRE! Finally, after we concluded our amazing meal, we were then told that the Teddy Bear, and Rose at our table was complementary too! OUR VALENTINE'S DINNER COULD NOT HAD BEEN BETTER! This entire holiday dinner experience was a reasonable $200 PER COUPLE! Any other restaurant in Miami on Valentines Day, you possibly would've only gotten a normal menu experience and had to pay more! HANDS DOWN, EVERYONE SHOULD BOOK ALL THEIR VALENTINE DINNERS AT MELTING POT'S MIAMI LOCATION! THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING OUR VALENTINES 2024 EPIC FOR US!... ps. Also a special shout out to the sweet Sophie who helped me fix my dress malfunction with a Stapler lol , Thanks!
