Breakfast Quesadilla!

By RoadViajando |

Wow, I will never forget the breakfast quesadilla. Yeah it has bacon but there was just an amazing combination and freshness of flavors. Incredible service also. I will most definitely be back before I leave

Delish

Great food and atmosphere with a Bohemian comfy vibe. Lamb kabobs were great and the drinks were too.

Best breakfast ever!

By Daniel R |

Very very good place for breakfast! You will be pleasantly surprised buy going here it is a must for breakfast. Minus the walking dead homeless people fir miles this place is fantastic! Good food and good service and fair price

Worth the trip!

By rachelannerobinson |

This food was so creative and delicious. It was definitely worth the cost of the umber ride. I had the cinnamon bread French toast and it was outstanding. The portions were huge and the food was cooked perfectly. The service was great too.

Great place for breakfast!

By dreamer8313 |

A friend suggested this restaurant and I couldn't be any more thankful that he did! I have to say the area is not the best in San Diego, but once inside the restaurant we felt safe. The food, the ambiance, everything is great! Our server provided excellent, quick service! Their coffee is to die for! This is definitely a place you need to visit if you are in San Diego.

Family feel

By steffiep33 |

This spot puppies up on TripAdvisor so we decided to walk over from the omni. Nice family feel. Staff overall was very welcoming, our server not to much but our order was accurate and hot. Pricing was as expected for two. Portions were big as well

Mexican flavors with a Cali twist

By Eddie M |

Arrived at 9am I was seated with in minutes, service was good, order papas locas, they were very good and plenty, potatoes mixed with avocado, jalapenos, beans and 2 eggs, complemented with a house made berry muffin, muffin came in warm and it was delicious, will be back ....

French toast was the best I've ever tasted! Coffee too! Dogs welcome on patio!

By bigrockr |

Great service, downtown San Diego, French toast was thick with cinnamon swirls and plated so fancy - also had delicious chicken sausage and scrambled eggs with rosemary potatoes and rosemary toast! Coffee was so good had 3 cups - bought fresh from a local company the waiter said!!! Excellent waiter and Dog friendly - brought dogs some water!!

Great vibe and hearty meals

By Estelawilded |

Recently stopped into this restaurant on my way back to the airport from Ensenada. I did not have to eat for the rest of the day. The pumpkin muffin was a meal in itself and the steak and eggs was accompanied by the perfect homemade bread. I would have liked to see more steak as I thought the portion was a little light but altogether the plate was incredible. The hashbrowns were on point and my buddy who ordered the Portuguese sausage was pleased with the meal. My other friend had no trouble finishing off the French toast as it looked incredible. I would go back for their coffee too. That was excellent although a little pricey.

Great breakfast

By adelZman |

Very popular and busy. Great breakfast offerings. Delicious pancakes but huge size. A 3 stack more than enough for 2. Mexican flavors.

Best breakfast

By Lina E |

I first visited the Mission in 2016 and loved it so much that we had breakfast there each day during our trip. If your looking for something different than your typical breakfast food, the Mission is the place as the food has a southwestern influence. I highly recommend the hanger steak with rosemary roasted potatoes and eggs. My personal favorite is the chicken pesto sandwich with a side of mixed greens and lemon/basil vinaigrette. The cafe au lait tastes great. Make sure to get there early as there is always a wait.

Large portions, decent food.

By alanroytbak |

Came here on a weekend at morning with the family, parking wasn’t an issue. And we also got seated right away. Staff here is friendly, it’s also a kid friendly place. The food here is ok, “Mexican style” breakfast, portions are large. You can split the meal easily. I had the Mexican omelet and kids had pancakes and French toast which were great. My eggs were just ok, nothing special. Decent choice for brunch, they also serve alcohol.

Breakfast before flight

By Jessica R |

Good was great. Coffee was delicious. Great thing is they will put into a to go cup for you as we were in a rush. We always make it appoint to stop when in San Diego!

amazing breakfast and amazing service!!

By Nicole S |

The mission is such a cute and awesome spot for brunch!! This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. My boyfriend and I went on Saturday morning and were sat within 10 minutes. Payton was our server and she was seriously amazing!! She made our experience. She was super attentive, made awesome recommendations, and was just so kind and sweet. She recommended the french toast and it was the best I've ever had!! The lattes are amazing also. 10/10 !!

Great way to start the day

By Jess F |

Four of us had a breakfast to beat the jet lag here at The Mission. We ordered a range of dishes including pancakes, eggs, bacon, and the chicken sausages. It was all great, especially those pancakes. I'd definitely recommend.

Great Breakfast

By Scot A |

Enjoyable local place a short walk from the Gaslamp Quarter. Good breakfast choices with excellent variety. I had one of the best espressos in ages paired with chilaquiles. Food spicing was a bit calmer than I would have expected but was served piping hot. Fast friendly service and very good pricing.

Good breakfast

By bigfish210 |

Looks like an old house, but they have a good menu. Service was good and coffee was very good. The coffee menu is bigger than the breakfast menu...almost. Only negative is location of bathroom. Its is outside and you need a key. Homeless hanging around the bathroom harassing people as they enter/leave the bathroom.

So yimmy

By Jerilyn M |

Loved this restaurant! Great food and the servers are so quick and friendly! I loooove the skirt steak and potatoes. The coffee is strong and so flavorful and the orange juice is sooooo fresh.

Well deserve recognition as top breakfast restaurant

By rmujicar |

The food is just fantastic. We had a variety of different options from the menu and everything was well presented and delicious. Service was also great and the funky atmosphere is a plus. Just try it. You wont regret it!

A super tasty breakfast!

By Todd K |

A great little place that’s just s shirt walk out of the main gas lamp district. We split the grilled rosemary bread and the papas loco, which was plenty of food between us. Everything was fresh with lots of flavor. We’ll be back! Maybe next time I’ll take a picture before we demolish our meal.

Tasty Taters!

By catlaw98 |

Spent a weekend in San Diego. Went to the Mission for breakfast on Saturday. Great spot! Fast and friendly service. Good coffee as well. For an entree, you have to try the "Papas Locos" (sp?). They are fantastic! Well seasoned and plenty to eat. A must try. The blueberry corn cakes are excellent as well. Give them a shot as well. N*joy!

Good breakfast

By Jay D |

Pretty good breakfast. Went right around 7 when they opened and the place pretty much filled up by the time we left. We ordered the breakfast croissant and chilaquiles. Both were good, but the chilaquiles were really spicy (I had to order sour cream and couldn’t finish them).

Good food and good price

By Nour S |

I was in San Diego for a vacation and I had breakfast in several restaurants, I would say that the mission was one of the best and compared to the other places the prices are very reasonable . I had their French toast and it was perfect and the potato side was so delicious, my husband had one of the pancakes and he enjoyed it and the coffee was really good 😊

Great staff, great food

By mdona267 |

So glad we went here for breakfast this morning before heading to airport. Great food with hard working, friendly staff. Had the Mission croissant- yummy! Great find in a great city.

Love

By Barbb1213 |

Go early or wait in line. In a bit of a sketchy neighborhood but thats downtown san diego. The food is so good and worth the wait. Love breakfast here. Service is good. Dog friendly patio. Would always return.

Simply the best breakfast

By Alvaroinbcn |

This is an amazing breakfast experience. Generous and very tasty food: will come back again for sure. The French toast were out of this world.

Terrific place for breakfast/brunch

By Steve C |

My wife and I were in San Diego for a long weekend and we looked up this place on Trip Advisor and saw it had great reviews so we checked it out. We had brunch and the reviews lived up to their hype. The food was outstanding. I had the Papas Loco & Egg and my wife had the Chicken Pesto Quesadilla. The price was what I would consider reasonable (averaged about $12 per entree). Our server Hugo was very welcoming and gave good menu suggestions. We liked it so much we went back two days later for breakfast. I got the Rancheros Verde and my wife got the Mission French Toast. Again, we weren't disappointed. Just a really cool place that my wife and I highly recommend.

Mr. J. Sablon

By johnsablon |

Very nice, friendly, comfortable place with good, good food. Come with an appetite, especially if you plan to order pancakes.

Perfect breakfast spot

By SB Rodriguez |

The downtown restaurants were filled during a recent convention in town, and so walked up a little further and came here. It was full, but still found a small table, and so glad I did. Lots of brekkie options, with good Mexican breakfasts: chilaquiles, burrito, etc. I had the "papas loco" which were excellent: potatoes, eggs, beans, cheese, tortillas.

Good Food & Good Service

By originalcin |

We planned a late breakfast/brunch meal. A perk is the choice to order from the breakfast or lunch menus. I love to eat outdoors and it was so nice to have outdoor seating. The restaurant's indoor seating was pleasant, too. Or server was excellent. Friendly, prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. The food arrived in a timely way but we didn't feel pushed or rushed to eat and vacate our table. The food was delicious. I highly recommend it. The restaurant is within walking distance of the Gaslamp area.

Cute spot with gluten free options

By Shannon4343 |

We had breakfast on a Monday morning. We were able to walk right in and choose a table. Cute place with lots of interesting art. We chose this place because I knew they had gluten free options. I ended up getting the Mission Rosemary breakfast which included eggs, rosemary potatoes, rosemary toast, and added bacon. The rosemary potatoes and rosemary toast were delicious. It was hard to believe the toast was gluten free. I would have liked to have tried the gluten free French toast. My husband had the breakfast quesadilla. Reasonably priced meal that kept us full. Service was good. We would definitely go back if we lived in the area.

Excellent

By Bryan F |

I highly recommend the cinnamon French toast, but bring an appetite. Great little place in San Diego.

Great Sunday brunch

By njroadmom |

Our landlord recommended this restaurant for brunch. It is very busy but they got us in quickly, only about a 10 minute wait. Yummy

Yummy brunch

By TashaLizabeth |

Was in town for a conference and decided to give this place a go as it was a close walk from the hotel (Hotel Indigo) and highly rated. It did not disappoint. I had the blackberry and banana pancakes and mango green tea freeze — both were incredible. Sweet and substantial without being overly sugary, and the fruit they used for garnish was super fresh and delicious. My husband had the rosemary breakfast and throughly enjoyed it — he raved about the potatoes until I tried them, and I second his stellar review. Highly recommend.

Best Breakfast

By tinkbell |

This place doesn't look like much, but the service was excellent and the food was amazing. My family of 5 went and had no problem being seated right away.

Breakfast done right

By Valerie |

Love this place! Breakfast is amazing with a good variety of dishes. Servings are large, 2 could easily share a plate. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. If going on a weekend, it's probably best to get there early to avoid the brunch rush. We arrived at 9 and shortly after We saw many groups waiting at the door for seating.

Best Breakfast!!

By Lisa S |

My husband is the pickiest breakfast eater I've ever known! We gave up a free buffet at the Westin to try The Mission! It was a great choice! Coffee is excellent! Food was delicious! Service was perfect! We would definitely be regulars if we lived in San Diego!

Fantastic breakfast/brunch

By Sam N |

We travel to San Diego two to three times a year. We typically stay downtown. On our last trip we had a breakfast at the Mission. We have been to this location about half dozen times. On this trip, we tried the verde tamale and the rancheros with add soy chorizo. Both dishes had a nice presentation and were delicious. The verde sauce on both were great and fresh tasting. The mission is a strong go to if you are downtown and has never been so crowded that we had to wait.

Great breakfast

By Berit2011 |

I found this restaurant on the internet. We walked nearly 1 hour from our hotel to find this place, however, it was worth it. The service was great, and the food very good. The atmosphere was also good, a mixture of families, young people and others. Highly recommendable.

Great breakfast place

By Alejandra M |

This place is phenomenal for breakfast. Be ready to take leftovers of bring a big appetite as the portions are big. They are vegetarian friendly and reasonably priced.

Chorizo, vegetarian???

By jeanpaulditte |

A good friend recommended me this place a while ago, so I went for breakfast. The place was crowded and somehow is noisy, but nothing mattered anymore after I had breakfast. Oh man! I’m not even a vegetarian and their vegetarian chorizo is to die for! Had coffee and french toast too, sooo good!

Mostly Vegetarian Mexican Restaurant

By Michael R |

No beef items but smoked turkey and chicken dishes are on the menu. Delicious rosemary bread and fresh salads make this a good choice. We luckily found free street parking. We didn't enjoy the music but the kind and good service were much appreciated.

Fabulous breakfast spot

By phil-the-badger |

Clealry very popular and understndably so. Pancakes and french toast were fantastic. Far too much to manage on my own. Coffee blew my head off. Service was excellent. Highly recommended for breakfast.

Excellent food and coffee, cool space, friendly staff

By Jenny M |

This restaurant has a a patio and a cool indoor vibe as well. The food and coffee are excellent and not over-priced. It is downtown with no parking lot, so be prepared for that.

Disappointing

By Markfromthe414 |

Typically, TripAdvisor hits the mark when it comes to breakfast restaurants. Unfortunately, this spot was the first 'miss' I've experienced. To be fair, I wasn't feeling the best on the day of my visit, so I shied away from anything Mexican related. I went with strawberry/banana pancakes, which turned out to be very disappointing. When I think of strawberry/banana pancakes, I think of cakes with fruit inside the cake and liberally adorned on the cakes. That was far from the case here. Very few pieces of fruit in the cake and one quarter of ONE STRAWBERRY placed atop the stack. It was closer to plain pancakes than anything else. They did seem to have quite a variety of breakfast drinks on the menu, though. Also, the bathrooms are outside and you need to get a key to get into them, like a gas station, but cleaner. I'll probably try other places on my next trip to San Diego instead of return here.

Good not Great

By Shaun&Mandy |

Hard to really explain what was off. The food was good but not great. Service was efficient but not friendly. Really wasn’t a bad experience but not a good one either. But not sure we would ever come again.

Best breakfast we had in San Diego

By GlobeTrotting290109 |

We went to cafe 22 and the other highlighted places but this was worth the walk from the other end of the gaslamp and was both healthier and better value for money than the others (which were ok, but didn't stand out). Pancakes were huge and a shared portion beat our two kids. Vegan and gluten free wife found something on the menu and my Huevos Verde was pretty special. Good coffee and friendly staff rounded out the experience. Only negatives were the orders were 'maxed' out (e.g. Order coffee, its automatically a large, same with kids milk, extra bacon Etc.) so make sure you k is what you are getting. Would have been nice to be asked.

Fresh French Toast - Blueberry / Bacon and Eggs Voila Perfecto

By D D |

French Toast with blackberries, bacon and scrambled eggs, so delicious, service was as one expects, subtle, invisible, and professional. Pictures included, the price to quality, we would pay more, we believe it to be the best restaurant in a ten mile radius. Love to be served, and treated without interruption Anyone, ever ask you while you are chewing - So how is it? Never happens here, refills on coffee and water, they have it under control. Serve a woman first? Absolutely. Thanks

A gem!

By Greg383 |

We had the recommended French toast! Delicious! also eggs and potatoes on the side. great ambiance! Parking is horrendous go a block down to the public parking area near the library.

Don’t read the menu: Just order the Chilaquiles!

By NDC |

Good stuff: Spicy, savoury, GINGERY goodness! Service was great and the bottomless coffee inspiring! Downers: - No Wifi - the chicken/apple sausages, combined with the main. I ordered them as a protein. But their flavour (mild/sweet) did not agree with the strong flavour of my main. So order them separately.

SO GOOD!

By nicholissa |

We loved this restaurant! We enjoyed fantastic French toast (mine was gluten free and his was not) and were both very happy.

Fabulous breakfast place

By dustythoughts |

We had an utterly fantastic breakfast here! We shared the cinnamon French Toast, mixed mushroom frittata with chicken sausage, and mission rosemary, and were incredibly happy with everything! The staff were all friendly and professional, the ambiance is laidback and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable.

Bad

By International B |

The food is bad and tasteless The blueberry pancakes are not spongy and don't taste like anything, the egg burrito doesn't taste like anything because it lacks flavor. My partner ordered the eggs benedict, he didn't like them either, we left the food and went to another restaurant for breakfast and apart from being expensive, it's not delicious in a few words.

Best breakfast in San Diego

By Ursula |

Visited last year and fell in love with the place. Will not disappoint. If you like French toast they have by far the best French toast I’ve ever had 😍. I’ll be back tomorrow morning. The chicken apple sausage and eggs were delicious as well. The rosemary toast was great! Might be trying one of the Latino breakfast plates tomorrow!

Looks can be deceiving

By jmasci |

Walk up or drive by and you might steer clear of this place if not for its stellar ratings. But grin and bear with it; the interior is cozy and inviting, and the experience continues from there. I came on a Saturday morning expecting a crowd but finding none. The service was prompt and very friendly. Despite an extensive coffee drink selection I went with the "house joe", yummy, and settled in. I decided on a HUGE stack of pancakes and some chicken apple sausage. That was delicious, and well worth the walk on the wild side. One last note - I started a walk around town after breakfast by first heading south through the Petco Park parking lot. Do so with a little caution, as there's quite a big homeless settlement in that area. Nothing against the homeless, just be careful.

Delicious Rosemary Potatoes

By SilverGypsy |

Rosemary potatoes are crisp and yummy with scrambled eggs and soft rosemary bread. Good coffee too. Highly recommended for a breakfast to power up for walking San Diego streets.

Delicious fresh fare

By Charles M |

Delicious and fresh. Went there for breakfast and had the vegetarian tamales which were tasty and balanced. Reasonable prices and a broad range of options. Friendly and fast service. I would definitely go back.

Great breakfast place

By jsb005 |

Great breakfast place. We went early and had no wait. We had a cafe au lait, blackberry pancakes, bacon, rosemary potatoes, eggs. All food was tasty.

Solid Brunch with Friendly Service

By Steven H |

The Mission in East Village is a quaint spot on J Street in the East Village. Parking is really difficult in the area as there is primarily only street parking available. We stopped in on a weekday for a late brunch and there were only a few other tables while we were there. We were greeted cheerily by the staff as we walked in and the service overall was prompt and friendly throughout our meal. We ordered a Chorizo Mission Omelette and a Tortilla Soup to share. The thought of jalapeños, chipotle crema, tomato and jack cheese with the chorizo had us really looking forward to a spicy delectable omelette but we found it a bit bland so that was a disappointment. We added plenty of hot sauce to spice it up a bit. The Tortilla Soup was super fresh and tasty and we highly recommend that and would order it again. As for atmosphere, I would probably recommend sitting inside to avoid the potential homeless encounters in the area. Definitely a solid brunch spot with excellent service.

Nice to visit - Disappointed in the food

By Janet A |

We had a nice time looking around. It was relaxing to people watch. We expected more real Mexican food but felt it was more tourism Mexican!

Delicious and light

By 2NO-mad |

The food here is fresh, natural and delicious! They surely have one of the best cappuccinos in San Diego as well. If you value good coffee, the one used here is of the highest quality, no acidity whatsoever, and the milk is real. Service was very good. We felt well-fed and light.

Great Breakfast

By tLynn18 |

We ordered blackberry and banana pancakes and also the french toast with a side of potatoes and scrambled eggs/bacon. The food came out quickly and was very good. We actually had enough to save for our breakfast the next day! The pancakes are as large as a plate and the french toast was large as well. The service was very good and it was a nice easy walk from where we stayed downtown. Definately recommend.

Excellent breakfast and lunch

By PKOve |

Per the reviews on TripAdvisor, I had to check out The Mission in East Village. Located a short walk from downtown, I went for a glorious brunch and it sure did not disappoint! The turkey sandwich on rosemary bread was delicious. The herbs gave an excellent aftertaste to the savoury turkey and bacon. A tad more mayonnaise and it would have been perfect. The sidesalad was generous, although I would have preferred less balsamic. I went for the banana and strawberry pancakes for dessert, which were one of the best I ever had, mainly thanks to the wonderful garniture. The atmosphere was tranquil on a Saturday in January. Maria stood for genuinly nice service! I had a big smile on my face for the rest of the day.

Great food, friendly service.

By Kristi A |

This restaurant was 4 blocks from our hotel and we enjoyed 3 meals with them, 2 breakfasts and one lunch. The food is delicious, Mission Breakfast with rosemary toast, house quesadillas, breakfast burritos. All the staff was friendly and efficient.

Great brunch

By planejla |

Flew in for a meeting and we were starving by the time we landed. This place was recommended by a coworker so we decided to go. The food was delicious and service was excellent. The place is small but they were able to accommodate a group of six quickly and easily. Will definitely retun when im back in the city. Can't rave about this place enough.

Amazeballs!!

By Blair B |

This place is worth every effort to get to!! The food was crazy good, the service was excellent!! I cannot say enough good things about it!!

Great food

By Angela P |

We took a 10 min walk from our hotel to this restaurant. The portion sizes are generous, and their food is tasty! Our waiter was more than helpful and assertive! They have an all day menu for breakfast, and a nice selection for beverages.

Downtown breakfast star

By George R |

I have now eaten here five times. (I live in North County, so I only get to eat here when I'm downtown for breakfast) I have now had the French toast, Desayuno burrito, and other egg dishes. Everything has always been nothing short of delicious. The only drawback is the wait, but that is because of the popularity and the parking.

Breakfast is a must !

By Vanessa M |

The food was delicious! I went with my family and we all enjoyed the meal. I ordered the lemon curd pancakes and they did not disappoint, my husband ordered the French toast which was so good! And my mother in law ordered the breakfast quesadilla which was a stand out! The salsa alone to die for !

Brunch!

By Julie G |

Awesome breakfast and worth a short wait! Our party and the French toast and pancakes and subbed potatoes as a side. Presentation was a nice surprise! It deserves the high ratings!

Surprisingly good breakfast

By Northern_Traveler00 |

Ignore the homeless souls on J Street (come from the North, then down 13th) and enjoy the food at this quirky place near Petco. Their Rosemary potatoes may be the best ever, their eggs are real (and delicious), and their orange juice is fresh squeezed and terrific.

Great Breakfast option

By J Warren R |

Looked like a healthy alternative to other breakfast places so we gave it a shot and walked a short way from the Gaslamp District. The granola and yoghurt was large and packed with fresh fruit. The Cinnamon French toast and fruit was a very large serving – also very good. Tasty high quality hot coffee. Friendly, attentive servers. Mission is housed in an old building; the architecture and homey atmosphere was an added bonus.

Great atmosphere with a decent breakfast

By Michael Lane |

I have mixed feeling about the Mission. Really awesome location with a great atmosphere, and decent service. But the food was variable. People I were with had the breakfast burritos and the Mission Rosemary, which I hear were amazing! I got the Rancheros Verde which was frankly a really wet deconstructed burrito... and tasted ok.

Great breakfast

By Brittani |

Delicious breakfast! I had the pancakes and it was such a big portion I couldn’t finish them! Got sat quickly and had great service.

Best food yet!!!

By Ant R. |

While visiting from Vegas, wanted some authentic Mexican food. Found this place to have great reviews. Didn't know what to get, but Casey really helped with selections. Awesome food!!!! Very filling and HOT. Great place to dine...... EVERYDAY.

AMAZING! Just WOW!

By Janet S |

Are you looking for a GREAT breakfast/brunch place? Then RUN-DONT walk to here! Delicious, fresh and plentiful! It did not disappoint! Food cooked perfectly…staff was friendly and efficient….amazing food flavors….cozy atmosphere!

Great for vegetarians with the best staff!

By unikitty3000 |

The people in this place were just wonderful. Everyone who worked there was just so so friendly and polite, it was lovely. They were a joy to be around. The food is great too. Plenty of choice for vegetarians, massive portions and excellent cold brew. I really loved this place and would recommend it to anyone for a casual brunch, lunch or dinner. Huge thanks to the lovely staff for being so warm and welcoming!

Happy place

By aligndesign |

This restaurant is full of smiling faces serving great food. I especially loved the rosemary breakfast potatoes. The wait on a Sunday morning is long, but worth it!

AWESOME for breakfast and lunch!

By t0nyvee |

I keep coming back here on... "business". Great spot for breakfast, they do eggs and pancakes and all that, but they also have a great Mexican lunch menu.

Best breakfast food! I love there French toast, and the pancakes are amazing..so many other good choices

By carole |

Love the variety, and the food is always fresh, service is prompt, and the servers are very pleasant. I am a breakfast food person, but the salads, quesadillas etc. are great.

Great breakfast near Petco Park and Gaslamp Quarter

By Sloped_Bench |

We visited The Mission on a quiet Tuesday morning and had a phenomenal breakfast experience. Great service. Great food. Great coffee. Very nice building and atmosphere. We had Strawberry Granola Pancakes, Soy Chorizo Burrito, Eggs and Bacon and each plate was tasty and very well presented. A great place for brunch/lunch before a Padres game!

Breakfast Delights

By Janis |

Walked to the mission from my hotel. A few interesting characters were encountered on the way. Arrived early on Sunday so got a table immediately. Had a Mexican style breakfast and coffee. The coffee was really good! The breakfast on both visits was fantastic. This is one of those hidden gems of San Diego. No wonder this place fills up so rapidly for breakfast. This is flavorsome good cooking at its homespun best!

Gigantic portion!

By Tina L |

Came here for a Sunday brunch Cuz of their high yelp review. The food portions are gigantic! The pancake is super fluffy and yummy. Saw the table next to us ordered the French toast. The portion is huge and the French toast is super thick. Servers are all very nice and friendly. Parking is a bit difficult to find but the street parking is free on Sunday if you can find one. Only down side is there’s quite a few of flies in the store 😕

Wonderful Food and Service

By L6953YVpaull |

The Mission is not exactly on the beaten path, but it is worth seeking out. The food is fresh made from the highest quality ingredients. Service is attentive and friendly, portions are large and just about everything about this place makes it worth going out of your way to find. In fact, it has now replaced our previous long-standing favorite place for breakfast in San Diego.

Very good Sunday Brunch!

By orange-u-tall |

Although our wait to get into The Mission was a tad lengthier than I would have preferred, that inconvenience was no fault of the restaurant. They are providing great breakfast options, and we did foolishly go there on Mother's Day. But even that made me feel good to see many mothers getting treated well on their special day. With tasty cuisine and attentive service, The Mission is achieving their mission.

Amazing food

By Gabriele M |

Don't judge a book by its cover, I had a really amazing lunch. My grand burrito was really tasty and everyone in my group of 10 people was very satisfied.

Best breakfast in town

By h3ll13 |

Friendly, fast service, really tasty food, great coffee, decent prices....what more could anyone ask for?!

Awesome

By Jones |

A great location for breakfast. Service with a smile, loads to choose from... highly recommend you give it a go...

Great food!!! We loved it.

By Vincent Blackwood |

This is the spot for breakfast in San Diego. Pancakes are awesome. Staff is friendly food is served hot and fast. Parking is not good but hey it’s San Diego so don’t let that deter you. The food is worth it.

Excellent Breakfast

By HowiFev |

The cute "Green Haired" hostess was so pleasant that we decided to wait despite the line. This is definitely a cut above the Unhealthy usual American breakfasts I have experienced. The Gluten Free French toast was great, the Egg White Omelette tofu was great.

Cute Breakfast Spot with Coffee Bar!

By GlobalSonderist |

This cute brunch spot, built into an old home, has so much charm and character! The cozy setting adds to the experience, making it feel warm and inviting. The food was pretty good—simple yet satisfying. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a laid-back brunch.

Amazing Breakfast spot

By Brandon H |

Had an amazing Breakfast here. Waiter recommended French toast and the Mission Rosemary. My wife and I ordered both and shared it. Both were delicious but if I was going to pick one I would go with the Rosemary. The potatoes were so good. I can see why this place is highly rated. Great service and great food.

Scrumptious Breakfast!

By EB-Cottage |

Great place for breakfast with a bohemian atmosphere. Come hungry or share a plate with your friend.

Good but spicy b careful

By Mr M |

The food is very good... but be careful with the chilaquiles... we asked the waiter if they were spicy... and he stated no..... i had to swap my plate with someone else... they were mega spicy .. the pancakes were delicious .. FYI... there is no parking lot

Sorry, not a fan

By Richard K |

So did my research for a great place for breakfast here in the Gaslamp District. The Mission was near the top. We walked to it (quite a ways, as Waze and Google Maps were getting confused). When we got there, the food looked fantastic. We ordered Breakfast Quesadilla with scrambled eggs, and the cornmeal and blueberry pancakes. The food came and looked terrific. But when we got eating were both disappointed. Personally we like a good bit of cheese on our quesadillas. This had very little. And the pancakes were pretty dry, so we had to order more butter and kept the syrup flowing...

Best Breakfast Food

By J_Huney |

I am a foodie and this meal passed the test. I ordered French toast with bacon and eggs, and the French toast is cinnamon bread that absolutely blew my mind. Great place, great service, phenomenal food.

NOT just another breakfast burrito

By John W |

Stopped in for breakfast while out for a walk. Menu is impressive with traditional to unique offerings. Had the chorizo burrito. Crispy rosemary potatoes added a new dimension to the seasoned black beans, chorizo, eggs and cheese. Really well prepared; service was great, a need-to-experience cafe.

Cinnamon French Toast is as good as it is hyped to be

By Barb A |

We went for brunch at The Mission (East Village) after a visit to Mission Brewery (they are very close together), and enjoyed the experience. We both had very good coffee, and I had the often recommended Cinnamon French Toast, which was just delicious (and the serving was very large as other reviewers have noted). My husband had the tasty Rosemary Breakfast, that included scrambled eggs, rosemary toast, rosemary potatoes, and tomatoes. The ambiance of The Mission is vibrant and upbeat; we had an efficient and friendly server.

Great service and fantastic breakfast

By CherylAT89 |

One of the top breakfasts of our trip to San Diego - #1 on our list. Great selection for breakfast and Mexican-inspired dishes. Found this spot from other recommendations online and it didn't disappoint! The Rancheros Verde and Desayuno Burrito Latino Breakfast Plates were super tasty. Portions were massive (actually wish they were smaller and not "American" sized). Maria, our server, gave fantastic, attentive service. Sat on the patio in this unique building. Would definitely recommend this spot, for breakfast, to others.

It was great

By Bill C |

The menu is varied with many Vegetarian options, you can get breakfast and lunch and an assortment of coffees. We were approached by staff quickly:) which I always love!! I had the desayuno Burrito( as good as anything I get in Texas) super yummy, the wife had the breakfast croissant, she loved it! We also tried the Rosemary bread too, it’s a must! Cute place, great location!

So good

By can1815 |

Great breakfast, nice staff. Didn’t have to wait too long. Good prices! Any dish with the rosemary potatoes are excellent

Day 3 of the Californian Adventure

By Claire K |

Breakfast with friends is always a treat & this one at the Mission definitely was. Not only wonderful company, we were beautifully looked after & given a menu full of intriguing delights-all very Mexican based & food you felt good about eating! Mainly vegetarian but there was always a meaty side if desired & we all loved those heavenly black beans. Another fabulous start to the day.

A little overrated. Great for foodies and bloggers.

By Arkcal |

The menu is limited. The food looks pretty. It's probably a hip, cool breakfast place for foodies that want to take pictures but if you are looking for one of the best breakfast places in San Diego I wouldn't go out of your way to eat here.

Delicious food

By rageisman |

Great mexican breakfast food. Rancheros verde were as good as remebered from last trip and my husband was very happy with the breakfast burrito. Absolutely recommend if you are in the area.

Great breakfast spot

By Freddy4 |

My husband and I were in SD for a conference. Read the reviews and came to The Mission for breakfast. It was a quick walk from the Petco Park. I had eggs and the chicken sausage. Seriously some of the best chicken sausage ever. I ordered my eggs over medium but they still came out very runny. So just be specific when ordering. My husband had the chiliquilles-sorry if my spelling is off. He said they were wonderful. Coffee delicious and service friendly.

Awesome breakfast!

By M_Smith17 |

Came with the family and my son keeps saying he wants to come back to San Diego just so he can have breakfast at the Mission again. They had the French toast and honestly should have split it. It was so much that neither could finish, and since we weren't going back to the hotel it was unfortunately wasted. I had the DESAYUNO BURRITO which the only way to describe would be a breakfast burrito on steroids. So good!

Very disappointing

By Graham H |

Perhaps our expectations were too high, but a poor experience overall. Drinks were spilled as served, service was slow and not proactive, food took about 30 minutes to arrive, and the French toast was mainly stodge. On the plus side the pancakes were good. Based on our experience perceived style wins over substance. Won't be back.

Gluten Free

By casnco |

Be aware, this restaurant does not have the ability or desire to protect food from cross contamination. They use the words Gluten Free on menu items and then cook them on shared equipment. They are capitalizing on a fad and putting Celiac's and gluten sensitive people at risk. Don't go here hoping to have Gluten Free bread. Or Gluten Free French Toast. It is rice flour bread cooked on shared equipment. Waist of expensive ingredients. This is a bad trend I have been seeing. No restaurant would say peanut Free and then cross contaminate.

Good place for brunch before a Padres Game!

By SDSpartan |

Love the Mission (there are several locations including one in North Park, one in Mission Beach and the one on J Street downtown). We stopped by here for a brunch before a Sunday daytime Padres game. Have been to this location many times over the years. Never disappoints. Consistently good food, good service. Almost always a wait. Only bummer is that on the last trip they ran out of champagne, so no mimosas! Food - love the variety on the menu - upscale Mexican focused. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. Large portions. Healthy options! One favorite dish is just the Mission Rosemary - with eggs and great potatoes! I like the chicken sausage breakfast as well and the vegetarian plate with eggs and the power plato breakfast. Yummy!

Loved the atmosphere

By nm1804 |

My finance and I walked from our hotel... we were immediately seated and served. The French toast and cinnamon toast were delicious the fruit was fresh and they had several selections of coffee.

Great breakfast in San Diego

By EricR1965 |

We were in San Diego for a couple of days and decided to give this restaurant a try based on the very positive tripadvisor reviews. We were not disapointed as the food was great and they also had a great choice of coffees and hot chocolates. Service was quick and friendly and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food. We were so impressed that we eventually decided to have breakfast there on our second day in San Diego also.

Excellent food , better service

By Jose B |

We went to breakfast among friends, very good breakfast and excellent service The very nice old and comfortable place

Elbow Room and Great Location

By Jebbie S |

I enjoy the food here! Once the server told me that they grow the tomatoes themselves, wild! I have a lot of friends who like the pancakes as well! This location has a nice outer eating are as well as a spacious inside. The location makes it easy to take a walk trough East Village, check out the Quartyard, the Central Library, The pedestrian bridge over the train yard, and a medium length walk to the H side of the convention center. The food is great! The coffee is superb and the energy is awesome!

Fabulous Breakfast

By Cathy R |

Wonderful and abundant breakfast. Lots of vegetarian options. I had a dish with veggie chorizo and my husband had the pancakes. We both have healthy appetites , but neither could finish all the food, despite it being excellent. The place was packed on a Sunday morning, but the service is so fast they turn the tables really quickly.

Great breakfast and coffee drinks

By Seth T |

I started off with a mocha shake which was absolutely delicious as was the Mexican hot chocolate that my wife got. The food was excellent too and the rosemary toast was the cherry on top. Very good breakfast place

Wonderful find

By Pdonatyandkids |

We came across this as we were driving around and exploring the area. We arrived just before they closed for the day. Plenty of parking on the street. I had the veggie sandwich and my husband had the tortilla soup with some type of sandwich. The price was reasonable and the service good. I noted many people having breakfast with drinks. We would return if in the area.

I was wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By Karl A |

Coming from Wisconsin on vacation to San Diego I thought finding a great breakfast place would be impossible, I WAS WRONG. Eggs, sausage and toast were all very good. What put it over the top was as good of potatoes ever for breakfast, not only outstanding but seriously enough for 2 people. I strongly recommend trying this place and if your on one of those weird diets the crispy potatoes are a meal by them self!!!!

Great breakfast spot

By smjasmin |

Nice and quiet. Get there early and beat the rush! The breakfast burrito with black beans was just wbat tbe docfor ordered!

Great Breakfast

By baybound |

We had the Breakfast Quesadilla and the Desayuno Burrito. Both very good and large portions. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend. Other plates on tables around us looked good as well.

Good menu options

By Diane P |

There were a lot of delicious options here for breakfast. I was torn between a few and ended up with the chilaquiles. It was a little soupy but I wonder if that was on purpose to soften the corn chips. It was ok but with so many options I’d try something different next time. Good service. I’d go back and give it another try.

Awesome place

By lazarro M |

I am visiting San Diego for a business meeting ,I was referred by my concierge to The Mission. I ordered the steak and potato and a French toast .. it was delicious The beef was cooked perfect ,The rosemery potatoes were tasty and crispy . the French toast was one of a kind so delicious ! My server Hugo was very attentive and The barista delivered my latte The manager delivered my food , I felt very special .after a long trip .This is why this place is highly recommended. I will definitely come back when I am in San san diego.

Breakfast in San Diego - downtown

By joeminner |

Great service. Our server was Jose. The menu has some unique items and the traditional stuff is good - like the avocado toast. With beets … yum.

Delicious breakfast!

By mikayla822 |

My fiancé and I had a great Sunday morning breakfast here. There was already a wait around 9am, but the line moved very quickly. Definitely was worth the wait. Try to Verde Rancheros or Papas Locos with eggs.

The best breakfast & service

By Robin B |

We went for breakfast, which we loved! The menu was appealing b/c we weren't sure what we wanted and they have many great choices whether you want comfort food like pancakes & french toast or breakfast tacos or Latino dishes. I asked our server for some recommendations and she suggested the french toast, made with home made cinnamon bread. I couldn't resist so I ordered that & a side of scrambled eggs and my husband had the vegetarian plate (tamales and over easy eggs). We also ordered a side of potatoes to share, since they are known for those too. The french toast was the best I ever had. Even the simple egg side dish was delicious! The potatoes were out of this world and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his dish. It had a slight kick to it, but not overwhelming. The coffee was good and the service was great. They know what they're doing and work super hard to get people in and out (in a good way - they do not rush you in any way). We will be back next time we're in San Diego.

Enjoyable Sunday Brunch

By Sam C |

This was a enjoyable experience from beginning to end. Excellent food, especially the steak and eggs, great service and wonderful brunch atmosphere.

Rosemary potatoes were delish!

By Lori R |

Rosemary potatoes were delish! Big portions of food. Reasonably priced. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try. Guess ill just have to keep coming back when i’m in town! ;)

Better Than Expected

By Cac1234 |

The food is better than expected at The Mission. We decided to try it because the restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel. Upon entering, I had reservations because the place was empty; however, it was a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was very good. My husband enjoyed his eggs and rosemary potatoes. Even the toast was great. The granola banana pancakes were delicious and the presentation was beautiful!

Dog Friendly Patio & AMAZING Food

By EasyGoingTraveller39 |

Another amazing breakfast at The Mission. We travel to San Diego a few times a year for business and for fun. Each time, we try to have breakfast at our favorite spot in San Diego. They have three locations, but this is the one we have gone to the most due to it's proximity to the Gaslamp and our hotel. We usually stay at the Kimpton Solamar on J/6th, so this is just an easy walk down J Street for breakfast. This was the first time that we had our dog with us, so we checked first to make sure that their patio was dog friendly...and it was, with a quick water bowl delivery for the pooch upon being seated. The server, Maria, was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed...before we even realized that we might need it. She was a great and friendly server. The food...delish! We had the Mission french toast and the banana blackberry pancakes. I have to admit that I am strictly a savory breakfast eater, and I've enjoyed the savory breakfasts at The Mission for years...they have GREAT savory options. But for some reason, this is the only restaurant which causes me to have an internal conflict about my sweet/savory breakfast choices. I'm drawn to their pancakes for some (obvious) reason and will sit there with my inner self and have a dialogue whether I should go outside of my comfort zone and have a sweet breakfast or not. I NEVER order pancakes...anywhere...except here. And of course, I was not disappointed at all. We will have to visit again soon because I promised myself a savory breakfast from here next time as well. It's just too hard to decide! :)

Best Brunch spot in SD

By Hamdi K |

One of my favorite brunch places to go in San Diego. 3 close by locations to choose from. One by Mission beach, North Park and Downtown San Diego. Great selection of light meal to choose from. My favorite the ‘Mission Croissant’ comes with fruits on the side to fulfill and make your day. Great selection of smoothies, and latte served in a big cup. Definitely a must visit if you’re new to San Diego.

Beautfiul Breakfast

By jillmaries2017 |

The presentation of the breakfast was beautiful and the taste was wonderful. My husband ordered the pancakes and I ordered the mission breakfast. The food did not disappoint. Great food!

Delish breakfast

By GoldenBlue3 |

Enjoyed the very filling French toast, pancakes, and chilaquiles for breakfast along with a couple friends who shared with me. We all were very impressed and very full. Sort of pricey but worth it. Loved the freshly squeezed oj. Shocked that they sell their fancy maple syrup for extra $, but whatever came with the meal was sufficient.

You can’t go wrong with the Mission on J street

By Jeff H |

Great spot for lunch in top atmosphere. The place is often crowded. Waiters stay friendly, service is swift. The food is delicious. I can recommend the quesadillas.

Great Find!

By ak_kimby |

The walk and the surrounding area is a bit daunting, but SO glad we went! Wonderful, filling breakfasts! Many gluten free options. The french toast was awesome. We had to wait about 20 minutes, but well worth it!

One word AMAZING!!

By Amanda s |

We have family that lives in San Diego and ever since finding this place we go every morning we are in town. The staff are wonderful and the food is to die for! Go early because it does get busy and it's fairly small in there. The portion sizes and variety of food is top notch. Definitely a must if you are in the area!

Good but room for improvement.

By Sir_Hugoagogo |

My wife and I went here for breakfast and overall enjoyed it. If you are looking for big breakfast portions this is your place. We tried the Rosemary Potatoes and Cinnamon French bread as both had many good reviews. The French bread portion was massive but really tasty and we would recommend. The Rosemary Potatoes were nice and crispy and again there were lots of them, but where was the Rosemary? There just wasn’t enough flavour. The scrambled eggs they came with were also far too dry like they had been lying out for a while. Service was good but even though it was quiet we had to call over to the waiters for more drinks which isn’t great. Good but there are better breakfast spots in San Diego.

Excellent breakfast. Worth the stop

By townby |

MY wife and I went there on Friday morning. It wasn't crowded. It was recommended to us. She had the french toast and it was a large serving wit cinnamon swirl in it. She added a side of bacon and scrambled eggs. That was all too much for her. I had the Huevos Rancheros. It was awesome. Black beans with a great tortilla on top of it with two eggs, cheese, sour cream; man it was tasty! The verde sauce on it was great! It was plenty to eat. I would recommend it if in town and staying down near the Gaslamp district.

Amazing!

By tiffanyv367 |

A recommendation from our hotel concierge. We wish we knew about this place earlier during our stay, we would've went for breakfast every day. The coffee was great! The presentation of my Carmel latte was amazing. The breakfast menu was outstanding. The ambiance was rustic old house. Non-stop busy, people waiting and definitely worth the wait.

Fine place if the menu suits you

By Michael C |

Seats about sixty people, most tables are for two or four; a little noisy. Friendly staff, good food. Limited menu— take a look before you come. The nearby Broken Yolk has a much broader choice. But if you see something that appeals you’re fine because the food is good. Limited hours too.

Good price

By pedsnephron |

Great breakfast for a good price for San Diego. Spanish theme for the food. Friendly staff with quick service. Location is about 10-15 min walk from Convention Center.

Delicious, fresh food in a bustling spot

By Cassietrip |

We felt fortunate to be seated immediately at 10 on a Saturday. The coffee drinks are delicious - well-balanced and cold on this warm morning. The breakfast quesadilla was a large portion of crispy griddled quesadilla with cheese and scrambled eggs inside. Served with a large portion of flavorful black beans and fresh salsa. My daughter had the Mission rosemary, which was eggs with a large portion of delicious breakfast potatoes and excellent rosemary bread. We would go back for that bread alone! Server was friendly and checked back frequently. Every dish we saw around us looked amazing, we can't wait to go back and try more!

The french toast is awesome

By Bri_Christine |

Great place to have breakfast. Come early to avoid the lines. Our family has always looked forward to eating here. The french toast is perfect.

Best breakfast

Wonderful from start to finish. Great service, clean, plenty of food. Worth the walk from the hotels!

great food, very good handmade tortillas

By Janos |

On Monday a group of leaders and I stopped here to talk about some amazing things and to eat lunch. Our server was incredibly kind, she was super busy but still managed to take great care of us. I had the breakfast burritos, which comes with eggs scrambled with cheese, scallions & tomatoes wrapped in two handmade tortillas. They were extremely good. My only feedback is the kitchen could be a little faster, other than that the food was excellent and the place is very clean and has beautiful art. I love the décor.

Great place

By Thomas |

Great Food, great soup, great service, great location go to the ocean after the meal and consume the view

Amazing breakfast

By Kyle R |

Very, very good food and service. My wife and I went on a Monday morning and ordered the fresh fruit bowl with Greek yogurt, chicken apple sausage with potatoes, rosemary bread, and eggs, and the strawberry granola pancakes. It was all very fresh and tasty. The service was great and all employees were helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this spot for breakfast.

Absolutely amazing, a San Diego must do!!

By Tabatha J |

Where do I start, amazing atmosphere, great service and beyond delicious food. Large portions so make sure you bring your appetite with you. I would highly recommend putting this little place on your San Diego to do list. You can even take the orange line trolley within a block of the restaurants location!

Delicious Breakfast in San Diego

Great service. Great food. We had the Mission Croissant and Blueberry Pancakes. Absolutely delicious! Super recommended!

Spanish Breakfast Smorgasbord

By Rick N |

Creative Latino breakfast plates include a delicious slightly spicy Papas con chorizo and a veggie Plato verde with egg and chili tamales. Blueberry cornmeal pancake was a nice breakfast dessert snack. This is the place to come in the morning directly from the airport.

Best French toast in town

By Noureen K |

They have got large portions so thinks before you order Everything on menu is delicious and their chai latte is amazing! It's a must if you are in Sandiego

Not Really

By gergalv |

The food here is not great at all and it is not reasonably priced. The service is fast and kudos to Maria. The food is basically Mexican themed breakfast offerings. The beverages were average in quality, specially the coffee. I also ordered hot chocolate but it was not hot and it was lacking in flavor and richness.

DELISH

By Meeghan F |

Walking into this place, I could already feel the vibe: local breakfast spot. My family and I ordered our food, and it was delish! Although I would recommend splitting the pancakes, cause they were HUGE! Our servers were also very friendly, and got our order exactly correct. Would recommend if you want something tasty.

Best Breakfast in San Diego!

By Teresa B |

I can't say enough about this restaurant! The menu is full of intriguing items to try. The Rosemary potatoes and rosemary bread are out of this world! Don't even get me started on the coffee menu! We loved it so much on Sunday that we changed our plans for Monday and went back!

Great Breakfast

By shanikah💋 |

Staff was great. Food was even better. We all ordered something different... no one was disappointed. I love this little spot tucked away downtown!

Great place; great food!

By sander352017 |

My son and I had Sunday brunch at the East Village location. There was a wait but it was worth it! The food is delicious! My son had pancakes that were plated beautifully with chocolate sauce on the rim. I had eggs, toast, homefries with a side of bacon. The homefries were absolutely delicious. The one downside...the bacon was a tad bit greasy but otherwise, the food was very good. Highly recommend stopping in for food.

Great unique breakfast

By Kacey D |

Great food and atmosphere! Close to downtown. The avocado toast was really good! Would definitely recommend!

Great food. Great service. Reasonable prices for San Diego. SPLIT PANCAKES with someone in your party, unless you are crazy hungry. Everything was terrific. Looking forward to coming back the next time we visit San Diego.

Enjoyed the food

Very nice place food excellent, service outstanding. Many different choices to choose from. Make sure you try the mocha

Simply brilliant

By Saltrips |

Best Mexican ever eaten. Can't praise enough. Really authentic with great menu range. Prices extremely reasonable . Would definitely return

Don't let the journey discourage you, great place to east away from the hotel

By slieder |

We walked from our hotel and while there were numerous homeless people, that is just a part of downtown San Diego. We met a friend who is local who suggested it and we loved the place. We arrived at 9am on Saturday and managed to get there before the morning crowd. GOOD - Fast friendly service - Large portions - Good coffee - Great atmosphere - Short walk from many hotels along the Embarcadero or in Gaslamp district. BAD - Lots of homeless in the area, mostly around the ballpark and along the light rail, which can be a turnoff for some not accustomed to it. They don't harass you so just move along. - Busy and long waiting. We managed to arrive before the morning rush but our friend said a 30-45min wait is not uncommon. Still worth it unless you are starving.

Best breakfasts EVER!

By Wongudriter |

Once we found this place, we went every day. The menu is huge and original; the portions are ginormous, the taste is out of this world. This is rated as one of the best breakfast places in the country, and I can see why. Our server was outstanding as well. Only wish we had time to come back for lunch!

Our #1 breakfast spot

By Adventures With Beth |

Our favorite spot!!!!! When I first met my husband 13 years ago he brought me here for breakfast, now we bring our kids here! The food is always good, fast to get a table even on the weekends. Family friendly, we have an 18 year old & also a 2 year old. Our daughter requests to eat here when she comes home from college so you know it’s good!!!! French toast is amazing!! Pancakes are always good!!! Chillequiles are yummmmy!!!! Juevos rancheros are great!!!! Just try everything lol

Great Spot!

By Melissa F |

My family really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere at this restaurant. All of the food and drinks were delicious, the service was great and the prices were reasonable. The pancake portion was too large for our kids, they could have split an order. If we lived in town this would definitely be one of our go to places to eat.

Fantastic Breakfast Eatery

By Scotland222 |

The Mission was recommended to us by about three different people so we thought we would give it a try...So glad we did! The French Toast had fresh blueberries on it and when a friend said it was good, we didn’t expect how good it would be. It is a very large portion that my husband did finish with a little help from the rest of the family...a bite here, a bite there:) loved it! The menu gives you a lot of different choices and everyone else enjoyed what they had ordered. Everything looked good and it was all delicious! You have to give this place a try...
