The food was great and Nick our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and the wines. They also have beer. The pretzel was made in house and delicious. Try the pickle plate appetizer delicious. The spatzel was the best I have tasted. I got the schnitzel but instead of potatoes had red cabbage. Yum. Salmon great and the apple crumble with the bourbon dulce selectee drizzle was a wonderful way to finish the meal. Don’t expect the Bavarian accordion player, the restaurant has a night club, speak easy feeling. Bring family and friends and enjoy good German food.

My husband and I had a delicious dinner at The New Schnitzel House! We ordered the pretzel as an appetizer and it was awesome. We ordered the pork and chicken schnitzels and they were both amazing. The spatzel as a side disk was so good! The Hugo Spritz was a perfect cocktail to start the meal. Scott was out waiter and he was super attentive and so nice! We can’t wait to go back and hope to have Scott as our waiter again!!

Pleasantly surprised here. This place has the warmest, most cordial staff anywhere. Pleasing interior. The menu is mostly German of course and they do it well. Brat platter with sauerkraut slightly sweet, mustards, perfect. Weinerschnitzel was nicely done, not pounded to death, hot, fresh, with lemony mashed potatoes. A side of shpaetzle (which we ordered plain with butter, like they serve in Germany, no cheese) very fresh and tender. With a couple of German beers, all in under $100 - a winner! Looking forward to our return.

I had an amazing experience at The New Schnitzel! The German food was fantastic, and the schnitzel was perfectly crispy and flavorful. My only suggestion to make this place even better is to add a vegetable option like red cabbage as a side dish. Also, Oktoberfest plans for next year; it's going to be a must-attend event! Five stars for the delicious food and exciting future events!
Delicious German comfort food!
As we entered The New Schnitzel House, we were graciously welcomed by Helen, who seated us and answered our many questions about the most popular German foods there. We were so excited to try the menu. We had never been to the previous Schnitzel restaurant, so this was going to be a new experience for us. We were surprised at how large the restaurant was and how well they integrated the outdoor dining with indoor dining. There are also 2 bars, indoors and outdoors. This is really a cool place! The ambiance has a very nice 80s pop art feel to it. Casual yet chic. We loved it. The tables were spaced nicely and the chairs were very comfortable. The lighting was dim but not dark. I felt relaxed and peaceful. The color scheme chosen for the furniture, artwork, and woodwork was very well done. Our server was the well-versed Antenor, who took very good care of us! His timing was impeccable with the dishes as well as keeping the water glasses full. His food recommendations were very good as well. For our apppetizers, we ordered the delicious Pretzel with the various mustards, the Shrooms with Fennel, and the Spetzel, which was a German mac n cheese version. My daughter ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, and I ordered the Veal Schnitzel for our main entree. Both were tender and well prepared. We ordered the mashed potatoes with our main entree. For our drinks, I ordered a glass of Carignan, la Patience, and Larisa tried the Wild Turkey bourbon old-fashioned. Everything tasted very good! The New Schnitzel gives generous portions, so we had to ask for 3 doggie boxes to take home some of the food. We left room for dessert, and thank goodness that we did, because I absolutely loved the German cheesecake!! It is one of the best that I have ever tasted! Larisa got the Apple Crumble, and she enjoyed that! We had a fabulous pre-New Year's dinner here and will definitely go back. There is ample free parking in the back, so no worries there. There is wheelchair accessibility also. Reservations are advised with Saturday evenings being super busy!
