Enjoyable. More pricey than a regular Chinese restaurant but yummy. Jasmine tea was nice and strong and very aromatic. I had the hot and sour soup, fried dumplings 🥟 , and coconut curry shrimp. I would come back. My husband had the colorful roll, and hunan pork. He liked it as well. Ask to sit away from the hostess stand as that can be noisy and detract from your meal.

Such a great restaurant, it has quickly become a family favorite! We have been a number of times and it has been consistently great.

I've eaten here several times in the last couple of months. Some of the Asian/Chinese restaurants I've reviewed have let me down more than once. I usually eat at the bar for lunch. Giovanni has been an excellent server. The food is very good compared to some of the other restaurants within 5 miles.

Second time here and both times the food and service were excellent! Delicious sushi, Spicy Cashew Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, vegetable rolls, etc. Nicely decorated and friendly hostesses. Highly recommended!

Food and Service were excellent. Everyone had some special change they wanted and they got it all right.

Got take out from here. Lived in New York state 25 minutes from NYC for 70+ years, moved to South Carolina this year. I have tried a lot of Chinese food and this was one of the best. Beef with broccoli, fried rice & garlic chicken.

We were hesitant about stopping in due to the review overall rating being kind of low. We decided to stop in since it looked packed. We were glad we did. The atmosphere was so inviting and very modern. We loved the spring rolls and had the best house fried rice. We tried 3 different sushi rolls which were all pretty good. Would go back if ever in Atlanta again. Oh and our waiter was top notch too.

Excellent Family Dinner! We were 7 adults and one infant and we had a lovely alcove surrounded by curtains for our seating. Our waitress was lovely and gracious. We enjoyed beef with vegetables, seafood platter, sushi, chicken sesame, and Mongolian beef. It was all very good. We had soups, edamame, wings and spring rolls as appetizers.

HORRIBLE Service and food made me ill!!! Run away from this dump immediately! Manager on duty was one of the rudest people within the city. He asked whether I wanted medium starch with my dry cleaning forgetting he was at his night job.

7/8/2021 We tried the Orient for the first time this week (7/6/21) because they have hibachi. There were 4 of us and everyone ordered an entree. The food was average. My friend and her son did not eat their chicken due to the strong sauces added and my father's shrimp were tough due to being over cooked. In hindsight, we should have brought the food issue to the server's attention. My main complaint is that we were each charged an entertainment fee because we were having hibachi. No where was this extra charge mentioned or on the menu. I was not paying the bill or I would have disputed this with the management. Beware if you go to the Orient of extra charges! We will not be returning.

We had Sesame Chicken and Pork fried Rice. Both were very good. The hot sour soup was also very good. Sat outside: the tables and the area were not crowede.

I order an appetizer off the menu that did not contains nut. And when I received the dish it contained peanuts GIVING MY FRIEND AN ALLERGIC REACTION!! They told us the chef messed up and aded nuts to the dish. We had to leave the restaurant and go to the ER! They did NOT asked if we needed help, the did NOT comp the food, and the did not care about the well being of my friend. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE WITH HOW THE RESTAURANT IS MANAGED

The location of the restaurant is the old Houston’s. The Orient has done a wonderful job of remodeling. It is both comfortable and very attractive. The menu is extensive. All the dishes I had were delicious and beautifully presented. There is a bar overlooking the sushi chief preparation area. It might be fun to come for drinks before dinner or to make an evening of sampling various dishes while at the bar. Very reasonably priced. Another plus is no overly loud or intrusive music.

Excellent service , prices very good, meal very good. Food choices tangerine beef ( listed spicy) didn’t seem spicy excellent, fried pork potstickers generous portion five large excellent, sizzling rice soup nice portion excellent different glad I tried! Only thing we thought was just ok was fried that came with tangerine beef meal.

The Orient is a good restaurant. We had a group of six hungry hikers and all left satisfied. My choice was the General Gaos chicken with fried rice and hot and sour soup. Very nice. Also the hot tea had a unique flavorful taste to it. Others ordered scallion with beef, Hunan dishes, and vegetarian. All were tasty. Large space for indoor and outdoor dining. We started outdoors but it got windy, so we went inside. Server was able to move all of us inside with no problems. Good attentive server. Lots of free parking. Definitely worth a stop.

So let me start out with....I have been going to The Orient since they turned the lights on, lol. I literally spend 8 hours one day at the bar because me and a few regulars would always meet up with our fave bartenders. The decor is beautiful, modern and we love the koi pond! The staff is always friendly, Tim is the GM and he is absolutely amazing! Gio at the bar is a total sweetheart so its fun to keep him company at the bar when I go! The food is always freshly prepared, presentation is a 10/10 every time! My choice for a drink is the Lychee Martini or the Pink Rose! Entrees, here is my TOP 10 because I've literally tried it all!! Tangerine Chicken, Deep Fried Red Pepper Chicken, Singapore Noodle, Thai Coconut Curry Shrimp, Spicy Beef & Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, Hunan Pork, Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, House Special rice and Mongolian Beef. The Rolls: Foxy Lady, Ooops She Was, Love Me Tender, XOXO Box and the New Spider are my absolute Faves!!! The portions are definitely generous so sharing is caring!!!
Amazing service - 5 stars to Breanna!
We had an amazing experience. We asked our waitress to surprise us with sushi. She made a great selection for us and we must admit that they are the best sushi we ever had! Breanna took care of us like no one. Great service, amazing personality, caring and funny are how I would describe her. What a difference it makes to be served and taken care of by someone like her. We will definitely come back to that place when we are back in Atlanta. Hopefully we will have the chance to see her again! Very nice place. I strongly recommend!
