Ok, first, food... well this is normal sport bar food. Nothing special here. Not bad, but nothing to write home about! But service is “weird”; people are smiling; but they are smiling “down” on you. I had this old fellow come at least three time to my table to put my glass on a napkin, wipe the water and call me “young fellow” with that old tone telling you that you are not doing it right... to note I was outside sitting on a marble table!! Then the waitress... she half laughed at me when I changed my mind about getting a beer (I first decided to stick with water) ... Come on folks! Don’t give attitude to the people who pay the bills!! Smiling is not the only thing to be courteous; being nice is part of the deal!

In for a conference. Had the cheeseburger with fries. Food was good and arrived timely despite being so busy.no complaints and would eat here again.

Had lunch here twice and late night drinks once. The food is solid at lunch. Upscale sports bar food. A little pricey but not for location. I don’t remember what it was called but there was a hot dog topped with BBQ brisket and came with a side of waffle fries that was delicious. I think it was a $12-$14 option and worth every penny. Had it twice in a 4 day stay at the Omni. The nighttime bar atmosphere was good and drink service was fairly quick considering the crowd. They were very well staffed to handle a crowd and appeared to have a very professional operation.

I had the avocado, bacon, beef Bisket appetizer. It was a meal different and full of flavor. The place has TV all over different sizes. It was reasonably priced. The hotel Omni is gorgeous! This right near the convention center.

We sit outside and enjoyed the patio. Service was great and they was busy. The food was wonderful. Staff was very helpful and took good care of us. we was with a party of 10 so that is always a tough task but over all it went well.

We ate and drank here several times during a convention week. All of the food was amazing. Can't speak highly enough of them. However, the service was terrible. Extremely slow and the a couple of bartenders acted like they were on strike. Spent more time slowly putting clean glasses away while people were lined up 2 and 3 deep trying to order. I recommend going for the convenience and the food, just lower your service expectations and you will have a great evening.

Our server, Gabi, was friendly and attentive, and there were also two other people who helped us from time to time, whether it was giving us extra napkins or refilling our drinks. Overall, the service was nothing short of fantastic. Fortunately, the food followed suit. The chips and salsa/queso were a great starter, and there was plenty of both dips to share for several people (we only had two, but at least four or five would have been fine, I bet). My wife had the Caesar salad, which was basic but tasty and a great size (large enough for two, most likely). I had the brisket sandwich, and I would absolutely order it again. It comes with onion strings on the sandwich and fries on the side. The brisket, which Gabi said is smoked on-site, was very tasty and better than I expected at a sports bar-type restaurant. The fries were basic, though the spice (likely paprika and/or chili powder) added a bit of flavor. Overall, we were both pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Speaking of the menu, while not extensive, there are plenty of options for just about anyone. Yes, it stays pretty closely to the typical sports bar food/Chili's-type of a menu, but if the rest of the food is as good as what we had, you won't be disappointed. Although the cocktail menu is rather small, the bar is not. Being rum people, we were pleased that they offered quite a few options beyond the boring basics of Bacardi, Myers, Captain Morgan, and Malibu. As such, we were quite happy with our rum and Cokes with Appleton instead. One final note is that the restaurant is in the Omni Hotel that is attached to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, so keep that in mind if you're attending an event there. You can just stay inside the entire time instead of walking outside to get to it.

Classy sports bar type feel. BEST NACHOS EVER! Awesome service and good drinks. We had a blast here!!

Good food, nice seating and plenty of big screen TVs. If you're looking for somewhere to catch a game - give this place a try!

I stopped in at The Owners Box as an alternative to eating a late lunch at the convention center. This is really a sports bar and really fills up with conventioneers in the evenings. Oh, it is also loud as it seems all the TVs have the volume on...plus music. We were seated right away and drinks were ordered. For lunch I ordered the ballpark hot dog BBQ Style (BBQ Brisket, Peppers & Queso) served with fries. Given that this is not a particularly health choice, I loved it. The hot dog itself had a good snap and traditional hot dog flavor. The brisket topping was really tender and had good flavor. Now, there was no picking this thing up but it was good...I'd have it again. Note that The Owners Box is loud and the seating is tight. Just plan for this going in and you'll have a good time.

The place is really cool and laid back. Had the Backstreet fries. Yes a mountain. Very tasty. Also has the Brisquet Nachos. Couldn't even finish them all. Shared with everyone. Marco is the best bartender.

The restaurant offers an extensive menu of bar items. All different sports are offered on the many televisions.Restaurant offers outside seating in a pretty lighted patio.Service is good.

The food was good & reasonably priced, but unsweetened tea was $3.75....for tea. Also, it was so loud that you had to raise your voice to talk to your dinner companions. If you like loud sports bars & don’t mind paying $3.75 for tea or soft drink, you’ll love it. The bathroom that I used was in disrepair, not a big deal, but just not nice.

We went as a group of coworkers. Prices affordable and reasonable. Good eats. Employees at front very friendly and willing to accommodate our group of 11. Wait staff helpful and friendly. Loved that screens had multiple sports events happening at the same time. It was hard trying to watch 2 NBA games and the Olympics at the same time, but it was awesome to have so many options.

We brought in the New Year at this place and I'm really glad we didn't have to leave the hotel. The manager and his staff were so helpful and nice when we were setting reservations up. The drinks were delicious and the food was even more yummy than what the description gave. Nice views from the patio and if you chose to sit outside, they even had heaters set up. The bathroom was clean as well and coming from me, that's a plus! We'd def return, if even to come watch the game or just for some good food and drinks. The only negative thing I can say is not about the place itself, but the DJ they had to bring in the New Year.....yeah he totally sucked. I'm an 80's baby and OMG!!!! He played 80's music ALL NIGHT LONG!!! A handful of modern songs were played and then it was back to the 80's.....Might wanna get someone with a more up to date music list for this year. Still a fun time had.

Wow, I felt like I walked in to Jerry’s World private bar. But really, great burgers, beer and sooo many TV’s. The bar has a “frozen drink rail” to keep your beer mug or drink glass “cold as ice”! Just go and see for yourself!

we ate at the owners box and the food was your run of the mill sports bar food..The overall bar had a real upscale sports bar feel and there wasn't a bad seat in the house to see the games..

Good place to grab some quick bar food , Have a couple of pool tables that our boys loved to play on ,

We stayed 3 nights at the Omni so gave this place a try. Burnt fries, bbq sand had bread so water logged in butter that I had to discard it to eat the meat. Used onion straws as a “filler” and coke slaw as a “filler” to make it seem like it was worth it. Let me say one thing ...never again!!!!

Located right within the Omni hotel, the restaurant offers many widescreen TVs for the sports fans; The real sports bar. We stopped here only to quench our thirst and eat in the middle of the afternoon. The service was impeccable and the wings just perfect.

I enjoyed my recent meal here, which also coincided with a Dallas Cowboys home game. The restaurant was filled with fans watching the game, but I was seated in a booth (all booths have individual TV screens) which still gave me a sense of privacy and kept the noise level down. The service was excellent, which was difficult given how busy things were. My food was served quickly and the taste was great. I strongly recommend going here if you are staying downtown Dallas.

We were asked if we wanted to sit at the bar and we said no we’d like a table. We were seated at a table by the bar, we were never told we wouldn’t get service. We ordered drinks at the bar and food and were never waited on. We finally paid out after standing in line at the bar for a bit, then we were told we were seated at a table that doesn’t get service. We didn’t go to dinner to wait on ourselves. The chicken quesadillas were ok, they mostly had dark meat in them and that wasn’t my favorite. The bbq sandwich was ok. For as nice as the Omni hotel is this restaurant should step up and take care of their customers.

Maybe they were understaffed but the restaurant was close to full for Saturday lunch and things did not go smoothly. We had a good and attentive waitress but it took 45 minutes for our food to come out. And then, one of the meals was missing. The waitress went to check and then sent the manager over since the meal had clearly not been prepared at all. We had other plans and couldn't wait for them to prepare it. They offered a free meal at a later time. The food that we got was quite good, especially the waffle fries. It is a fabulous space if you enjoy high tech sports bars, want a game of pool, and don't mind the high noise level, but for a quick weekend lunch, this was not the best choice for us.

Stayed at the Omni Dallas Hotel and had lots of restaurant choices. Owners Box was very convenient and very accessible so we stopped in for lunch during breaks in volleyball games that were being played next door at the convention center. Fast service and fantastic burger choices. One of the best.

We ate here three times in 72 hours. The Nachos were by far the best we have ever had. The desserts were HUGE! The staff was very friendly,

We were delighted to find an enclosed walkway from the Convention Center to the Omni Hotel their The Owners Box for lunch. The first day we had a grilled chicken sandwich and a burger with the waffle fries. Both choices were freshly prepared, hot and tasty. The service was very good. So, on the second day of our visit we did a repeat. Our selections that day were chicken quesadilla and grilled chicken salad. Again both were excellent. Each day, the server brought a dip and chips for us to enjoy while we waited for our meal. The spinach and crab was good but the queso dip on the second day was even better. The chips were excellent. We remarked that every server in the place was paying attention to every customer, not just their own. Just another note. . .the ladies rooms are individual, extra clean and nice like a private club.

Ordered a burger to go after work. Great burger with bacon and onion rings on it. Very good. Got it to go, so don't know anything about the service.

I don’t expect much from hotel restaurants and usually try to avoid them, but the options are limited around the Omni. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I sat across from the bar and was served by the bartender, who was quite attentive despite how busy it was. I ordered brisket potato skins from the appetizer menu, which was more than enough as my dinner. I brought my family back the next night, and we were set on a big couch around a low table. It was a fun setting for a big family dinner, where we ate off each other’s plates. The food was plentiful and delicious.

A good sports from either lunch or dinner. There are a couple of pool tables in the back if you tire of the big screen TVs. I wouldn't recommend the turkey burger because it is looks like a pressed pice of meat. Otherwise food is fine.

I visited twice while attending a conference at the adjacent convention center. Good selection of beer and food choices. In celebration of National Hamburger Month, they had a special slider menu. My order had three sliders with two patties each, cheese, tomato, lettuce and sauce. Sides were extra. I ordered onion rings The burgers were fabulous as were the rings. I highly recommend

Typical bar food but in an upscale environment. Prices are decent. Drinks are good and service was excellent! I had the wings and hamburger. Both were tasty. But what made the visit great was the customer service.

Nice outdoor seating area so away from the noisy area. Atmosphere inside is of course a typical sports bar TVs consistently going with various sports. Our waitress was friendly and courteous food was good.

Awesome decor , and large selection of beers. They have huge screens. It is located inside the hotel, so it is very convenient for a late drink.

If you are a sports fan you will not be disappointed. Big screens dominate the wall and the only issue was lack of adequate staff to serve our huge group.

Stopped in for a quick meal after a conference. The staff was okay, it took a little while to get things and there were multiple parties sharing long tables. The food was good, the pretzels were very good.

My god, the service at this place is so bad. I get it, you are busy, there is a volleyball tournament in town for the 3rd weekend in a row, and you still are not staffed up to support it? Make a drink line for people not at the bar. Hire extra bartenders, 2 are not enough to handle the 20 people at the bar plus the 40 people behind us trying to get drinks. I sat there for 25 minutes in a chair at the bar with no service. Ridiculous.

Sports bar located in the Omni hotel. Food was excellent and a good variety. Sat at the bar and had excellent service.

We have been to this bar 5 times over 2 years and can give a consistent positive review. Good food and drinks and personable fun staff! Mostly expected sports bar menu but not the overly greasy or salty content. Surprising salad and phenomenal burger, guacamole and nachos. Try the cucumber jalapeno margarita! We went in in costume from Fanexpo several times and they were welcoming and fun! Lots of pictures.

Quick visit to the city, no time to looking around, rainy night. Place is pretty crowd, nice, very friendly. Food is standard no big deal, in fact just the excuse. Ok.

This is a nice little oasis at the Omni that was a welcome retreat from a boring conference. The wings and the chili were both great. If you're in town at or near the Omni and there is an important game to see -- this is definitely the place to do it.

The first thing that you cannot fail to notice is the very large TV's - clearly this is not a reading room! Very casual, very friendly and good wholesome sports bar food. I had the chicken Quesadilla- meant, I think, as a starter. It was all I could eat having also been served an appetizer of tortilla chips with guacamole, cheese and pico de gallo. They do everything in Texas 'big' and the servings here are no exception. Served by Ken and Patrick, a very enjoyable time was had by all. My friends had flatbread and the brisket sandwich - both of which were (almost) finished!

Nice restaurant with reasonable prices and decent selection. Staff was very good and food was as well. Mulitple tv's for the sports minded.

Sports Bar Next to Convention Center. We had a party of 11 for a convention & has no wait. The food was delicious and came out quickly. No complaints. Great atmosphere, even for kids.

Plenty of TVs to watch multiple games with a great bar staff. Large selection of beers with several from Texas breweries. A descent and typical sports bar menu that was above average.

I stayed at the Omni hotel which has many restaurants, but we loved the fun and lively atmosphere of "The Owners Box". Huge screen to watch your favorite sports, and many others throughout the place. It was always busy, which is a good sign as well. The food is great and I loved the Gold Metal Burger! The service there is awesome. The girls are so nice and they go the extra mile that's for sure. Really enjoyed our 5 visits in 5 days! We either had lunch or dinner there. Enjoy!

Wait was long but the food and atmosphere was good. Kids had burgers and they looked good. Little pricey but was the best thing about our stay at the Omni and so much better than the Texas Spice we had for breakfast.

I think this is a better drinking and watching sports spot than for eating. Pricey for options. We spent $100 for 2 adults, 1 teen, with no liquor.

Very busy during conventions as you can imagine. We had the burgers which were excellent. Service was good and the restaurant very clean and modern.

Very entertaining fast paced place. Excellent drinks and service. Food was very good and large portions. It is a downtown place inside a great hotel ( Omni ), so don’t go thinking it’s going to be cheap as it’s billed as a bar and sports grill. But worth every penny. Something for everyone on the menu. All your favorite games on t. v.’s that are all over. Try it. You won’t be disappointed!

This is not fine dining...but, it doesn't claim to be.... The food is good, large portions, and great for a crowd. A fun atmosphere.....large screen TVs, corn hole games, etc. for kids to enjoy while waiting for food. The terrace is a nice place to hang out if the weather permits.

There are almost more TV screens than tables, or so you might think. Earlier this evening I watched the Dallas basketball game on a very large screen and an ACC college game at the same time with at least 3 other channels on other screens. And each of these was on multiple screens around the restaurant. The food was served in large portions and was above average in preparation and taste. I had a BBQ sandwich, with seasoned fries and pickle, beer and a dessert pretzel that was very large. Total was $27 before tip. Between food and entertainment, this is a good choice for travelers staying at the Omni hotel or visiting the convention center. Attentive service and informative insights regarding the menu items from Travis this evening. He was also knowledgeable about the beer choices. I would certainly recommend this for business travelers.

This place looks amazing on the inside and out. Great place to hangout with friends and family and watch a little sports. Food is more on the pricey side but not to bad. Just don't over do it or you will have a huge tab. Most of the food is here is amazing. The wings are excellent. Drinks prices are pricey but I normally get a couple of beers anyways. They have a patio area that looks awesome. Can't go wrong with this place.

Cucumber and jalapeño margarita and brisket potato skins.....that’s all it took. I am hooked! Perfect ending to a good day’s work. Relaxed fun atmosphere and phenomenal staff.

I would have given five starts if it weren’t for two small things - the avocado brisket appetizer is amazing but the size portions differed daily. The one time we ordered to share the avocados were tiny and we still only got four of them - we ordered more the next day and they were huge (enough for two). The only other fault I would listnis the plethora of stool seating. We were there for VB nationals and my back could have used the support after playing all day. Other than that - good food, plenty of TVs, very nice service (even the to go folks were overly helpful :-)

We had a late breakfast and some beers before we headed out to the Rangers game. The service was quick. I had the breakfast flatbread. Good selection of beers.

This is a great sports bar and perfect for lunch. Menu selection is great. Service outstanding and food quality was great.

All American sports bar with outdoor seating and yard games. Large TVs and billiards table, many types of seating available indoors. Friendly staff and prompt service.

Stopped in to get lunch upon check in to the Omni, very cool sports bar feel with average food at above average prices, but what youd expect for an on property restaurant.

I liked this little restaurant because I found it practical and fast, a lot of choices and varieties, and above all everything was very good

Great place for a bite to eat and the fries were some of the best I have ever had. Tonight there was NFL on the main screen and it was very noisy. Would definitely recommend

There are several TV's and a huge one at the end of the room. The food was what you would expect at a Sports Bar, Burgers and sandwiches. Prices were also what you would expect for not leaving the Hotel. The average is about $14 for a sandwich, nothing special about the food but the drinks were cold and service was very good.

We ate here because we had checked into the hotel and I was HANGRY. The details of this place are great. It is highly sports themed, even down to the chocolate candies available at the exit. We ordered the large pretzel. I t didn't really taste like a pretzel, it was more like a shareable garlic bread. It was good, just wouldn't call it a pretzel. We had the BBQ burger with a turkey patty. The onion rings were delicious. The food was really good. I would recommend this for watching any sporting event, or anyone who is hangry and just wants good food.

Great seating arrangements Booth, tables, lounges Very good menu, very eclectic Bison to veggie burger along with full meal's. Very impressed with their venue and presentation. Lots of big screen TVs Inside the Omni

The wait staff are awesomely enthusiastic the food is tasty bar fare with a twist. The TV's are plentiful but the one in the back is huge!! There is pool table and a patio it's casual and fun.

A year later and still "Good for a quick bite..." Once again sat at the bar and had drinks and nachos. Very good service from bartender. Nachos were good and lots of them.

This was a great place to catch a couple drinks with coworkers, and it was super close walking distance to the hotel.

This is the most budget friendly place to nom on the hotel campus proper. It's a sports bar so there's lots of games and people but it's pretty cozy with outdoor seating. Took about 45 minutes to get the check and guys kept putting their beverages on my table, as if I were sitting at the bar, but I enjoyed the food!

We were in Dallas for a volleyball game. Ate here two times. Fun place with couches and lots of TV's. Fun environment. Shrimp tacos were great. Turkey burger- don't buy. Bad. Great location.

I enjoyed dining at the bar on my day of arrival before my conference started. The beef brisket was very tender and service was very responsive even with the full restaurant. I was even able to leave my roll-on carry-on bag at the front desk as I arrived before my room was available.

First off, if you want good service ask for Diane. I came to Dallas to go to a convention and went to the Owner's Box yesterday and the food is good standard bar food and we had Diane, she was great. TL; DR: Take responsibility for your short comings and managers support your servers. Then, we came again today and everything went South. Mind you, both nights were busy. We were seated immediately and waited for our server to come to the table, by then we asked if we could immediately enter the food orders, which she did. She delivered our drinks and went away like a ghost. Another man delivered our food, which there was an issue with. He made it right. She still never visited the table. After a while she checked in on us. It was just a rather poor management of time. I saw her cash out checks, come in and out of the kitchen with one container for dressing...Passing our table as we watched her walk by. Then, she was gone again. I wanted dessert even after bad service. We never had our drinks refilled. Another man, a different man, Emilio, came to the table to remove the dishes and I politely asked that before he remove the dishes if he could help us with our checks because we have not seen our server. He was so positive and remained positive. He went, told her and came back. So, we expected that the next time we saw her, we would get our checks...we didn't. Emilio was great too. She came by empty handed, and asked if we wanted dessert. I'm baffled at this point, I literally sent someone to find you to get me out of here and you think I want dessert? (I didn't say that out loud.) We already had our credit cards and cash out at this moment, but that's not the worst part. The worst part was the manager. He stopped by the tables around us and never came to ours. Food goes back to the kitchen and he's just strolling around. The server is MIA and the manager does nothing. That's still not the worst of it. While we were sitting at the table I was giving my opinion that if the server fails, the manager fails. I didn't realize it at first but he was to the side of the table and I have a very large suspicion that he heard me, because once I said that, he put his chin up and walked away. I was going to give them 2 stars but as I realized how far this service was from acceptable, I had to change it back to 1. I left a note on the receipt as well as a tip that was more than my bill. The note was for the manager. Whatever he is doing in that restaurant is breeding a disgusting culture of irresponsibility and disrespect. Culture: If something goes wrong in the restaurant, the manager should be the first to know. Either, the servers are taught to not tell the manager/address issues or the manager was told and he did nothing. No matter which one it is, the fish rots from the head and the manager needs to recognize and adapt. Irresponsibility: Neither the server nor manager noted the failure. Emilio noted it and apologized for it. If something goes wrong, stand up and take responsibility. Disrespect: I can't say what was happening for sure, but as I watched the manager visit each table around ours for two days and pass over ours, I can conclude that our patronage was not respected there.

This restaurant is in the Omni Hotel. I had lunch here, a turkey burger & salad. Excellent, tasty & good service. A bit noisy with all the TVs

Great game watching venue. My team lost but the food was great, service even better. Strongly recommend for any casual fun dining wishes.

Located in the Lobby of the OMNI Lamar. Very crowded and busy especially during a conference. Staff does its best to keep up. Had a Caesar Salad - very average.

The only thing earning a second point for this restaurant was the food quality. We were seated at the bar and waited 20 minutes just to get a bill. Not the place to waste your money on expensive beer while in Dallas.

My co-workers & I stopped in for a late dinner & drinks. There was plenty of seating available as it was a Sunday night. Ordered several appetizers which were served in a reasonable amount of time. Had the Texas BBQ fries, large serving plenty for the four of us. Also ordered the humus appetizer was ok. I ordered a burger w/onion rings. Burger was good, I thought the onion rings were just a bit over fried. Our waitress had a difficult time of separating our bills, should of been that hard.

The design is fantastic and impressive, patio is great. The "Backstop Fries" might be the best loaded fries I've ever had. The service here was much better than at the rest of the hotel

Great food and service at a very reasonable price. Our waitress, Tarik was awesome; very friendly and accomodating. Will definitely be back.

Sat at the bar and had drinks and nachos. Very good service from bartender. Nachos were good and lots of them.

Wings and nachos were very good. Little pricey for what you get but service is excellent and atmosphere nice. Place is very clean.

fortunately neither texas or smu was playing in town so we got a seat. the beer was cold and the wings were spicy. service was super slow for whatever reason.

Food was very good but the service wasn't. Conference in town and lots of people. Restaurant is in The Omni so management should know to put on extra staff.

We were staying at the Hyatt and walked here twice. Prices are reasonable for a Hotel bar and the service was great. Not a bad place to hang out whether you are staying at the Omni or not.

We ate dinner at the Owners box on the Saturday night of the Dallas Cowboys pre-season game which was also the night of the fight. They didn't have the fight so it was not as busy. We didn't have to wait for a table. The atmosphere is really nice, lots of TV's!... I would say a great place to watch sports events. The service was great, the food was great, the drinks were great.

I visited The Owners Box August 8th trying to waste some time before I had to be somewhere else and I'm not mad that I did. I had the nachos and they were good. My coworker ordered the chilli and she loved it. The bartender was so great that he came to my table to tell me they didn't have the ingredients for what I ordered and suggested something similar, which was very tasty. I don't remember his name but KUDOS to the bartender. There were plenty of TVs all around for all to watch whatever sport they were interested in viewing. Great time!

Only a fair selection of bar type foods but very good in quality. Served quickly by friendly wait staff.

Food was good quality. Selection and portions were typical of a sports bar. Wait staff were attentive and pleasant.

We ate here after our day in downtown Dallas. It is in the Omni Hotel and in this part of town there are not many eating options available if you are on foot and it is after 5:00 pm. We had burgers at the Owner's Box, and I always enjoy a good hamburger. The food was good, the table service was excellent, and the only reason this wasn't a 5-star rating was the food was a bit pricey, but it is the Omni, so what else would I expect? We did not visit the hotel, but just came here to eat, but the hotel appeared very nice and impressive from what we saw of it.

Hands down the best sports barI’ve ever visited. It was set up so perfectly that there isn’t a bad seat to watch the game. Oh, and the food was on point.

The sheer size of the bar along with huge projector screens for sports viewing was overwhelming. Good choice of beers/cocktails. Menu was very nice and appropriate. Wait staff was friendly and knew what they were doing. Food was good.

Pretty decent bar food. Had a burger. Fresh and juicy. Really good taste. Fries were soggy, but that's ok. Worth trying if you are close.

Limited Pub Menu; however, above average quality. Unbelievable amount of TVs for your sports viewing pleasure, not a bad seat in the house.

I had the chicken quesadillas and they were excellent. My husband had the Bbq beef nachos and he said they were the best he's ever ate. Would order from them again.

We had a few drinks and enjoyed a game on the 15 foot big screen t.v. We tried a few appetizers and like everything we had.

A couple colleagues and I went for lunch while at a convention. Every place had a crowd but we finally got seated. Service was fairly slow with the packed house. I had the turkey burger with a salad instead of fries. It was very good. My colleagues had pizza and a burger. Everyone liked their food. There were lots of televisions and it looked like it would be nice to watch sports at the bar or enjoy apps with friends while catching an event.

Great food wonderful service! What a selection! I've tried several things on the menu and haven't been disappointed.

We really enjoyed the delicious food and great atmosphere! Very family friendly and relaxing. I recommend!

Stopped in for a late lunch...service was not good. Lots of people serving us, but no consistency and the food took way too long. Once it arrived, the burger was OK, but nothing special.

We went there on a busy day for lunch and the service was excellent. The sports bar atmosphere was great and the food was great. Definitely recommend it.

Went here for a quick bite and a few beers. We didn't realize there was actually a conference going on at the hotel until the bar started filling up. Even so, service was very quick for both drinks and food. The Bacon Burger was very nice. Our server, Jose B was extremely good.

Took a few beers here last night. Great place to watch sport on the dozens of huge screens. Loads of seating inside + a nice outside terrace with soft seating. Some pool tables also if you want to play a game. Serves usual fast food menu and great selection of beers. Huge bar so service is quick.

What a great place to grab a bite to eat while we were at NCA! I LOVED the avocado wedges. Brisket was amazing!

This is a fun place to hang out ! First I think they have like 60 TV screens ( I lost count ) I know one is atleast 100 inches . The beer is cold and each TV can be tuned to watch what ever sporting action is playing . The food is fine and pretty typical for a sports bar . The people however are not typical they are fun loving helpful folks who want you to be happy to be there . From fun games of pool to conversation and all in between this is the spot if you want to catch a game , grab some Grub , all in a friendly atmosphere . It's located on the main floor at the Omni Hotel in Dallas . And o would highly recommend this spot to watch a game of your choice .. really a fun spot and every seat in the restaurant bar has a Clare view of multiple screens ! Enjoy folks I did .. 🏈⚾️🏀⚽️🎱🎾

This is a lively sports bar in the hotel complex. It’s a good lively location with plenty of screens and spots to sit. The atmosphere was good. Plenty of beer and drinks choices which was strong but the food was average at best. I’ve eaten better burgers at cheaper places. Plus they got my order wrong. Other places are better

We walked from our hotel to this one to meet some high school friends! It was packed because of the Red River Rivalry being in town but they still had top notch service! And the drinks were amazing! Will definitely be back and maybe next time they will have the Longhorn alumni band there ;-)

good food, higher end bar & grill quality, they were able to split tab with a large party, got us in and out quickly

Used this location for lunch and dinner during a convention. It was very busy, noisy and difficult to carry on a conversation. The food was just what you would expect from a sports bar, but wait staff was very attentive, helpful and accommodating. Has many TV's of all sizes, plus pool tables. What was interesting was that the portion size was very good and the food and beverage prices were very reasonable. Would not hesitate to use again

I stayed at the Omni Dallas Hotel and went here four nights in a row. Very good atmosphere, great food and of course, great sports watching. Super big TV inside on the main room and lots of TVs at the bar.

Our home base location while staying at the Omni for a weekend cheer comp at the convention center. This place is so much more than a canned hotel bar. Great food, great service, able to handle large crowds. Lots of large TVs which were playing the cheer completion next store which was the reason we were in town. The Nachos and bison burger was great. Servers and bartenders were great

I wish this place was local, as I would return for the cheeseburger each week. The taste of the meat was far better than anything I'd had in years. 1/2 pound of meat, which they did with two quarter pound burgers - one on top of the other. I liked that better than one big 1/2 pound one. Fries were also really good. Service was fast and the wait staff friendly.

I was traveling solo so wanted to stay close to the Hotel..This is a sports bar but I sat in the sofa area and felt very comfortable.. I ordered the Gold Medal Burger which was yummo! Also tried a Texas beer - called 'Blood and Honey' which was very good..a faint taste of cinnamon!

The Owner's Box was a pleasant surprise. So much more than a typical sports bar. The seating throughout the restaurant was a fun experience and almost had a Vegas feel with all the lounge seating options. The food was tasty. We ordered the hummus, grilled chicken sandwich and the burger. All were yummy. The place was packed for the basketball game and yet noise level was not bad. There was a radio sports show on air and we didn't even realize it until we went to the restroom and saw them. This is a great sports bar. I highly recommend.

Was in Dallas for 3 nights and decided to check this place out to watch the Warriors game and eat dinner. We had great potato skins and cheese triangles. Both were good. I also ate half of the huge bbq burger. It also was great. Couldn't eat the entire thing after sharing the appetizers with my brother. TVs were everywhere. They had the World Series, Warriors, Mavericks and other sports up for everyone to see. Had an extensive selection of beers and liquors. This place is really big and appears to be popular. Probably locals and hotel guests alike frequent this very nice sports bar in the Omni hotel restaurant row smack dab in the middle of downtown Dallas.

Nice environment with very good service and good food. I was with my husband and son, the place was almost full but even through they were really nice and were pay attention in my kid! They offered to change the channel and it was so sweet!

Great food, service and atmosphere! Enjoyed the private booths which include your own private tv with sound. Great place to be for a weekend of football!

I've always been the type of person to only leave positive reviews, but my experience at The Owners Box on September 20th has to be made available to other patrons. On September 20th a business associate staying at the Omni asked me to meet him for drinks and dinner. We had a fabulous meal at Bob's Chophouse. After a large meal I decided to sit on the patio at The Owner's Box. 3 other people who were guests of the hotel joined me. Waitress came by to check on us. We all ordered a water to just sit, and enjoy the not so hot weather. Told her to check back because we would probably need drinks later. A few minutes later the Assistant Manager came over, and told us we had to open a tab and buy something. She even suggested we just buy bottle water. We told her no thanks, that we would order something soon, and not to worry that our waitress would be taken care of. She told us that we absolutely had to open a tab, and buy something NOW. My friends who were staying at the hotel explained that they were guests of the hotel, we had just eaten at Bobs, and were taking a breather, but would definitely have a drink shortly. Assistant Manager said "I don't care where you are staying, this is my restaurant". In an attempt to defuse the situation the guest that invited me to dinner asked her to get another manager, and please quit harassing us. She left, and we called the front desk of the hotel. They assured us this wasn't their policy, and would have the general manager look into it ASAP. The Assistant Manager returned about 20 minutes later with security to escort us out. I tried to explain that we called the hotel desk, and they assured us that we were ok, and not to worry. Assistant Manager told me that that call absolutely didn't happen. The security officer was definitely trying to escalate the situation, by trying to control my position as I walked out. I have never been more embarrassed for myself, my colleague that invited me out, and even the restaurant. I have stayed at the Omni in Dallas a handful of times, but will never be able to come back. Almost 24 hours later, I'm in absolute shock over how we were treated. On my drive home today I thought I can maybe see if it was game day, and they had lines of people waiting for a table. There were at least 20 available tables. This Assistant Manager was on the most bizarre power trip I have ever seen. I can't imagine a business letting an employee act like this, but the Assistant Manager made it very clear it was her way or the highway.

Myself and my wife visiting in August, we had a great time sitting by the bar for happy hour, drinks were cheap, nachos were superb, staff were friendly, couldn't have asked for more. We would happily return

The food was really good, I ate there a couple of times during the week. The service was just so so. Staff seemed to be short handed and acted alittle confused at times.

We had a diverse group with food restrictions - nut allergies, gluten free and vegetarian. We were all easily accommodated with a good meal. On separate occasions I had the ancient grain bowl and the garden salad. Both were good; I especially enjoyed the ancient grain bowl. Very family friendly during the day; turns into more of a bar vibe in the evening.

In the Omni Hotel and very much a great addition. Extremely impressive set-up and design. Good drink selection and very good food. The loaded brisket fries was the hit for us. This isn’t your basic sports bar and perfect way to end a night or just hang you.

This is in the Omni hotel which made it convenient as I stayed there during my trip. Had great atmosphere, a good patio area, some couch type seating that would be great for having cocktails. I had the Texas Style Ballpark (aka Hotdog) and it was simply amazing. I made a point to go back a couple days later for another one before I left. My coworkers had the wings and a cheeseburger and both of them enjoyed their food also. The service was great and the beer was cold!

Very good hamburgers, didn't get bored with them even if we ate there five nights out of our five days stay at Omni. Do not order drought beer, it is horrible. Any bottled beer will do just fine. Busy and somehow loud place, but still a really good place to eat and have a drink. The terrace outside is very nice, with real fireplace and plenty of seats to stay around it.

If you have to go to the convention center, and you want to sit down and eat.. choose this place. The wait may be 20 minutes or so, but.. its worth the wait. Noone told us that the seating area to the left as you enter into the restaurant, is open seating... You can be seated here on your own, and quickly the waitresses and waiters come to your call. I got the turkey burger the first day, then the hamburger the second day. They both tasted great!! This restaurant is in the OMNI hotel - which is connected to the Convention Center - give it a try!

Everything we ordered was very good. We had chicken quesadillas, flatbread pizza, burgers, and barbecue sandwich. Even though it was busy our waitress did a good job of keeping glasses filled.

Me and my buddies go to the Owners Box occasionally when we're venturing in to see a game sometimes Parking can be hairy, so use either Uber or Instapark and save yourself an hour. Fantastic food, I'm a big fan of their flatbreads. Really nice servers, too, they make you feel at home.

We stopped in for an afternoon drink and snack. We were assured the nacho chips were very thin and crispy, the way we prefer them, they were not. Thick and crunchy. Waitress asked if we wanted to add chicken, extra charge, we said no, got chicken. When the bill came we said charge to room. Good thing my husband looked at the receipt, we were charged for the WRONG tablel! She had billed us for 2 burgers instead of nachos. When we brought it to the manager's attention he seemed a little confused as to what to do. Eventually another manager came and said she would take it off our bill and comp our nachos and beers.

This is a great stop for a quick lunch coming off the convention floor or anytime really. If you don't care for sports, you probably won't enjoy what's playing on the many televisions!

Definitely the place to be for your favorite sporting events if you can't attend in person, it fills up fast so get there early but the food drinks and ambiance are well worth it.

I should have known better than to expect great things from a hotel restaurant, but this place was worse than I thought it would be. I was here for a conference, and as such there were a lot of convention people here for their meals. Staff was friendly enough as they greeted me for lunch. After trying to convince me to sit at the bar, I was seated at a small table right underneath a huge television screen. Talk about being self-conscious with that many pairs of eyes looking your way! I wanted some chips and salsa (this is Texas, after all), and was a little shocked by the $6 price on the menu. That shock was made even worse when the chips arrived: store-bought, obviously out of a bag, and only a small amount of salsa. Granted the basket of chips was huge; but, again, the chips were not great at all. The salsa, touted as a roasted salsa, was ok, but it was short on flavor and underseasoned. Craving a burger, I ordered a half-pound bacon cheeseburger. Since it was 1/2 pound, I assumed it would be a big one and that the restaurant would be able to cook it to my liking: rare. The waitress said, unconvincingly, sure. So imagine my surprise when the burger came out, only to be a barely-better version of a double Whopper. It was literally two thin patties, assumedly a quarter-pound each. There's no way something that thin could be cooked rare, and sure enough they weren't. I didn't even bother attempting to send it back. The fries were also quite obviously out of a bag, thrown frozen straight into a deep-fat fryer. They were less than stellar. Way less. The staff was fine. My server was prompt and unobtrusive. Save that, though, everything else was less than average. I could have had that Whopper instead and had a better burger.

This was a great sports bar - the booths have their own tv, there are plenty of big screens all around the restaurant, a large bar area, and a great patio area with flaming heaters. The food was not too expensive and very good - try the barbeque wings and/or the half pound burger. Our waitress, TJ, offered nachos and salsa on the house and provided excellent service. We liked this restaurant so much we went back a second and third time on our trip! Located in the Omni hotel

We were able to get into this location on a busy night and cozy right up to the bar and receive great service through out or visit. The place was jam packed due to the hotel being a host hotel for one of the teams in the Final Four. Unfortunately, the team at the hotel lost on the first night, so they weren't as pumped after the game, but still great folks who loved their basketball. Overall a great place to enjoy all of the sports.

This was a good place for a nice relaxing lunch. I sat at the bar and got great service. I ordered the shrimp appetizer, and it was very good. Menu is mainly bar food but everything sounded good.

We only went for drinks and appetizers and they were all good. Service was good and there were several choices of seating.

Our food was really yummy. Not too pricey. Tvs everywhere. We wanted to watch the game and it was a fun atmosphere to do so. Our service was excellent.

Drinks are ridiculously over priced... I ate here last Sunday and paid $33 for a double Jack and Coke (not even that strong of a drink). I thought the waitress had charged me for 2 doubles by mistake, but nope, $33 is what they charged me for 1 drink!!!...I have never paid that much for a double, even at a 5 star restaurant...I wish I would have had time to talk to the manager about it, but we were running late for a show.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by such a fun atmosphere and great food! Matthew was our server and he was amazing!! One of us had a burger that was to die for, one had buffalo wings and one had shrimp Cajun tacos... everything was perfect!

A nice choice after traveling and just wanting to watch some college football and a beer and sandwich. The brisket sandwich is very good as is the grilled chicken sandwich. Friendly and attentive service. Save room for the key lime pie!

I went to The Owners Box for two meals during a recent Omni stay for a conference. The menu has a variety of items from which to choose and their portions are very generous. Loved the sports bar atmosphere!

During a recent stay in Dallas, my wife and I went over to the Owners Box for lunch. First off, the Omni where the restaurant is located is very impressive. We'll stay at the Omni on our next trip to Dallas. The Owners Box is a great place to watch sports, they have tons of TV's. The food was big and tasty! I would highly recommend a stop here while in Dallas.

Lots of T.V. screens, good drinks, good food and service. I would happily return. Had a burger and finished it because it was so good. A variety of seating types are available as well as pool tables.

My kids and I ate here on a recent trip to Dallas! They had a huge TV were they had baseball games on so my sons loved it! Our server did a great job! The food was really good as well. I highly recommend the nachos! Those were so good. I had a barbecue sandwich and it was pretty good. My kids all liked what they got!!!

Food was good. The prices seemed extreme to me. Service was slow. Once order was in the food arrived quickly. Took forever to get drinks and the check.

I ordered take out at Owner's Box. I ordered the Backstop Fries. It was a huge portion. It was delicious!

Clean with a combination of very large projection tvs and conventional flat screen. No bad seats. The staff seemed knowledgeable of the sports seen around Dallas. With Dallas Packer playoff game upcoming they had several tvs play all the Packer Dallas games from the past till game time this Sunday. Drinks were less expensive for similar in Chicago. Long Necks seemed to rule. Extensive bourbon and whisky ;ist.

This restaurant is inside the Omni Dallas Hotel, and is good bar-type food. Ate here twice, and enjoyed both meals. The soft pretzel appetizer is huge and very good! The burger was generous, fries were perfectly cooked and not at all greasy. Caesar salad was very good! Wait staff was very attentive and stayed on top of drink refills. Thanks Management! All staff were friendly as well, so is clear that there are high expectations for customer service. Overall great experience (for bar food)!! Music was just a bit loud, but did not distract from a great experience.

Good selection of beers on top. Diverse menu of typical bar food. Onion rings weren't fully cooked... Nice food delivery time and order times if you sit at the bar

A very nice hotel sports bar in the Omni. Service is very good (Thanks Stephanie) and the tables are adequately separated and the food is very good. TVs are abundant and cover many different games. I highly recommend the wedge salad and the delicious key lime pie. The flatbreads and wings are also great.

As a last minute dinner on Valentine's Day with colleagues, the owners box actually had space for us to eat. I don't think they were quite ready for the influx of people. Service was quite slow. Staff was pleasant though. Food was what you would expect from a sports bar, just average. It worked in a pinch but wouldn't choose it again.

Fantastic place to watch any sporting event. The food and drinks are good as well. Valet parking. This is in the Dallas Omni Hotel

A definite video sports bar. The fried onion rings were even chrispy. Service was a little slow. Screens were large and sharp. Variety of sport played. Large loud and crowded.

Everything a sports bar should have including pool tables. Fun atmosphere. The food was disappointing considering it's attached to the Omni Hotel.

In Dallas for a business conference. Staying at the Omni and wondered into this place for a quick lunch. Ate the shrimp tacos. Excellent food and service was fast and friendly. Came back later that night to watch a basketball game. Had an IPA they had on tap with their wings. Tried the lemon pepper and texas bbq. Both were outstanding. Place was much busier, but service was still really good.

Colleagues and I stopped in to get a beverage and bite before heading out to the airport after a large conference. This place is comfortable and has a nice variety in their menu. An added bonus (if you are a smoker) is the heat sources on the outdoor patio.

Was in town with a coworkers for a conference, this was a great spot to unwind and everyone was able to eat and drink what they wanted, Lots of sports on numerous big screen and projection TV's Check it out next time your in downtown Dallas

Good food and service, bit expensive. The nachos need more stuff and more chips not the best. But great atmosphere and nice looking place and location. Bison burger was ok, but if you want bread with your burger make sure that you request it, if not you will get lettuce and a piece of meat,,not sure if it qualifies as a burger the shape of the meat patty 3 burgers, nacho, 1 Cosmo, 3 beers over $90...

First, I'm just happy a restaurant is open and there are reasonably priced food items. The food I had was so-so, and the service was excellent. What makes this review average is where the rest of the joint is a 4-5, the music is a 1. It blasts, incessantly, even outside. There's no escaping it. Don't come here looking to relax.

This restaurant is full of fabulous meal options and the staff gives excellent customer service!! I loooove the entry way as it has historic news clippings in the floor!!! So unique. They also offer outside dining options.

The waitress was attentive and helpful. The food was just your average bar and grill food. The restaurant was clean. Many large televisions so it would be a great place to watch sports games.

Great for those who love sports but we were taken to our table and never helped. We had to order our food to go and even then it took about 15-20 min. Waitstaff was rude and just nudged us out of the way.

It is my last night in Dallas. Meetings went late, needed to work out and revamp my body so it was not time for a late supper. I did not want a fancy sit down heavy meal so I went to the Owners Box sports bar for a quick bite and drink. I was greeted warmly and seated quickly. I have a nice view of several large screen TV's so I could watch basketball while I enjoyed my meal. My server came quickly and was very friendly. She wore a mask and kept it on the whole time I was there. I had Chicken Quesadilla and they came out hot and delicious Their selection of Beer was ordinary, which I find typical of US based sports bars attached to hotels. But it was a pleasant experience and I got exactly what I expected and better than expected service and support from the people working there.

Great food and drinks, and excellent service. Have been here several times, either for dinner with friends or as part of a Dallas Stars watch party. I'm never disappointed with dining here.

I should have said something but just gave a short tip. Draft beer shouldn't be 7/8 full. I appreciate ALL the tv's at the bar and the variety being shown.

The bartenders are very knowledgeable. The wait staff was a little overwhelmed and slow. The food was very good and they have a bunch of tv's so getting your game on isn't a problem.

This hip sports bar is the ideal for any sports fan. There are TVs galore with a wide variety of sports. I would recommend the wedge salad (it's quite large) and the shrimp tacos were equally as good. It's definitely noisy, but that's to be expected. They also have a nice outdoor patio with additional seating making it the perfect location for beer and appetizers on a warm summer evening.

Got the burger, side of onion rings and the texas bbq fries. oh my goodness the portions were huge. its a good thing! the food was cooked and prepped perfectly. it was all so flavorful and delicious!
Quick
Typical sports bar. Loud with lots of tvs. Nice staff. Food came fast to bar. Food tasted good. Waffle fries are good.
