Decent Philly cheese steak, atmosphere seemed old though. Felt like the restaurant had seen better days.

While in Del Mar on business, I decided to give Philadelphia Sandwich Company a try for lunch. The business is actually located at 6904 Miramar Road, Suite 207. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak combo, which comes with a choice of sides and a soda. I ordered the French fries as my side. The food was delivered to the table fairly quickly. The sandwich was quite tasty and the fries were crispy good. I would recommend giving this place a try. Enjoy!

The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was pretty good, but I just wanted more flavor. The kids liked their ham and cheese sandwich and the cheese fries. The star of the show was my wife’s order: the cheesesteak fries. They were absolutely delicious! The prices were a little high, but it is San Diego and it is during a recession, so that wasn’t the end of the world. The owner and his staff were awesome people and they really made you feel welcome.

Joe sold the place, new owners changed everything including the rolls and meat. It's no longer a legit cheese steak. Sad to see this one go. Hope Philly Franks in San Marcos is still there.

I have been a very long term customer of The Philadelphia Sandwich Company. When Joe sold the store earlier this year, the new owner soon changed the traditional amoroso bread for something else. That changed the taste of the cheesesteak sandwich. It was not as good, but it was still okay. On 07 Dec 23, I went again and found that they have now changed the meat as well. This second change has thoroughly destroyed the very traditional taste of a Philly cheesesteak. I will not be ordering any of the steak sandwiches in the future. On the positive side, their new pizza selection is quite good.

Awesome food, cheese was present and so delicious! We loved the attention and the food was incredible. We do recommend you to visit.

I've been a customer for at least 20 years, altho the shop moved from Convoy St., it is worth the drive to Miramar for one of Joe's hoagies. The meat and bread are fresh, perfect and just like we remember from PA! I always have to get TastyKakes also. A real treat!
