Have been to Pink Door several times over the years and it is exceptional at each visit. Great staff, delicious food. The vibe ranges from fun/entertaining to elegant with a view of the Pike Place and water. Number of options for those with gluten intolerance (celiac). Hard to get a reservation, but easier to get seated as a walk in at the bar. This is my favorite restaurant in Seattle!!

Happy to walk in and get a table. Staff were dressed up for Halloween. Our waitress was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and so were the cocktails. The food was nothing special. Dinner for two $225

Superb lunch here outside. The food was first-class with great service! The interior is very comfortable!

Delicious nice staf and very nice service everything is ok no any problem this hotel is to much delicious

Buzzing place with excellent service and great food. My go to is always the Ciopino and it never disappoints, the tomato based broth is light and you can taste each individual flavour of the seafood. My only nit-picky criticism, there's never ever enough bread :-)

We totally loved our lunch at the Pink Door. There were 6 of us dining - 4 adults and 2 children. We sat outside to eat. Highly recommend

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel staff & we were glad to experience this place for dinner. First thing is that they didn’t have any signs identifying the restaurant 🤯😂 It has a pink door & once you enter you have a flight of stairs to go down to the desk to check in for a table. This was a week day & they were very busy for getting a table so we opted out for going to sit at the bar. Staff were amazing & very friendly. Tasty entrees with cold beverages went down well. They also had a 3 piece band playing during our time which added to the ambiance. Highly recommend coming to the place for a memorable dining experience 🤩🤩

Delicious lunch! We had the arancini, spaghetti bolognese, and the lasagna. Everything was perfect and so fresh! The atmosphere was on point and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed every minute! Thanks for being amazing!

Great service and awesome food. A little hard to find it is literally a pink door down an alley with no signs. If you can get in it is worth it.

The food was really delicious and satisfactory. No complaints at all. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I really loved the environment and the views. I will come back again.

The pink door was an amazing experience. We sat in the bar area and were able to watch the aerial artist. The vibe in this place is really upbeat! The food was delicious. Ask for Annie she helped pick out a wine and let me even taste it to see if I’d like it! Her recommendations were delicious! There are 3 distinct areas to the restaurant-outdoors, front room that overlooks the water, and the bar/back area where there is entertainment! You can have a different experience in each area. I’ll definitely return to the pink door whenever I’m in Seattle again.

Great restaurant!! Service, food quality, views...everything was spot on! We loved all of the dishes we ordered. Everything was perfect about the place, which is not easy to say for most venues!

I didn’t want to wait an hour and a half for a seat so sat at the bar. Not my preference when dining but it was an amazing night. Bonnie the bartender is A+++ with her energy, great recommendations and attention to detail. Every single dish and drink (mocktail) was delicious. I went on a Thur night and the music was mellow and really set a really lovely. I can’t wait to visit again! Pro tip: make a reservation in advance and try the lasagna!

I’ve never felt so shamed and humiliated at a restaurant before and the Pink Door did just that. Came here for lunch yesterday. I went to the hostess to ask if their patio was dog friendly and she said yes and they had a table available. My husband, dog (a pug) and I sat and ordered. We were in the middle of eating our appetizers when the manager came and sat next to me to tell me that my dog’s noises were “not appetizing” that we had to leave, ending it with “what do you think about that?” WTF what do I think about that?! I was so shocked all I could say was, “Umm, ok.” To be clear, what the manager did not like was my dog’s breathing noises - he is a pug and loud breathing noises is a common trait (before anyone says anything, yes, I was giving him water consistently). I would understand if it was bothering other patrons however no one made a complaint nor even looked at us as the patio was already lively with noise. The manager proceeded to say that he’d bring us the check (even though we hadn’t finished our apps or drinks). Unbelievable that he still charged us! I didn’t want to sit there any longer waiting for the check so we went back into the restaurant. He gave us the bill and said “You know, I could sit you in another spot inside.” I said, “At this point I am feeling so uncomfortable right now and I don’t want to be here anymore.” The kind waitress, who even told me that she didn’t have a problem with my dog, felt bad and took our check away and was able to take off the food… but still charged us for our barely touched drinks. We paid and left. It was a traumatizing experience being shamed and humiliated like that. Feeling so overwhelmed with emotions, crying in the middle of Pike Place is the last thing I thought I’d ever experience in my own city. If you’re going claim to be a dog friendly restaurant but can’t handle a pug’s noise, you better put out a discriminatory statement of what kind of dogs you do allow!

Loved this restaurant. I knew from reading other reviews that we actually had to look for the Pink Door to find the restaurant. The decor is fabulous. The food is wonderful. We were there for a late lunch and the place was full. Definitely recommend reservations.

I couldn’t get a reservation so I was placed on the waiting list. Lucky for me I was able to get a last minute reservation. Friends came along with me. And this was their first time dining here. We sat by the window and had a great view of the sound. My friends enjoyed their dining experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My friends enjoyed their food—-one had a food allergy—and our waiter was very diligent and spoke with the chef. I enjoyed my lasagna.

Best Italian food we’ve ever had! Service was attentive but not pushy, and views of the Sound at sunset were gorgeous. We did walkin (for 2) on a Sat night and were seated in 30’. We’re definitely returning!

The food was wonderful. Even though they bill there restaurant as Italion, we were able to get fantastic seafood. When in Rome must take advantage of the local seafood! It is a bit hard to find but worth the effort. Make a reservation if going during peak hours. Try to eat on the patio.

What a great experience! We spent a couple of weeks in the US Pacific Northwest, British Columbia and Alaska and this was by far the best dining experience. It is somewhat hard to find and intimidating to make a reservation but hang in there, it will be worth it. We sat outside and everyone in our party of five had a great time and an excellent meal, drinks and experience. Will definitely be back!

We sat on the patio and had a great experience. The waiter was super friendly and helpful. We had antipasto, lasagna, and chicken parmigiana. They were all generous portions and well- prepared.

Never disappointing. The halibut special Wes excellent. The linguine with clams was wonderful. Appetizer of prosciutto and burrata was amazing. Our server was excellent and the atmosphere is relaxing. Great place to, we love taking company there.

I am thrilled to hear that you had an outstanding experience at The Pink Door! It's delightful to know that the food surpassed your expectations and stood out as the best Italian cuisine you've had in Washington.

Great, attentive service for lunch. Outstanding lasagna. Fish of the day was halibut, cooked perfectly. Semolina biscuit slightly burnt on the bottom gave a carbony character. The mushrooms were not very uniform in their size and cut, lending a rubbery texture

I cannot say enough about the staff at this restaurant. Top notch from the very beginning. It started with a mistake on my end which the restaurant fixed and saved me from an embarrassing situation. The waitress was great explaining the history of the restaurant and all questions we had about the menu. The food was great and the lasagna was the star of the night.

Amazing. The restaurant is huge, difficult to believe after seeing the small entrance but it is. Great atmosphere, lots of people, good service. Food was outstanding; the farm local peppers, linguini vongole, fig and prosciutto appetizer and tuna crudo. So much better than I expected and worth it.

Great place, no name outside little tricy to find out. we show up with no reservation and was seated roght away. We order the sea food and catch of the day, both very good. Service nice and friendly. Even inside seating have a good view of the bay. Prices are reasonable.

Lovely food and excellent service from the staff. Great experience here and will definitely visit again when in Seattle.

We were told we had to go, so we stopped by (we were in the massive line, but told the waitress we were just going to the bar) and the attentive bar staff was great, as were the drinks. What a cool atmosphere Seeing all the reviews, I wish we had eaten there!

I was disappointed when I originally had to miss my dinner reservation the night before when I accidentally got heat exhaustion. The restaurant was helpful in trying to accommodate us at another time but as we were a large party with a packed itinerary we weren’t able to and ultimately my husband and I stayed at the hotel. We decided to try for lunch the next day and we were luckily able to eat without a wait. Unfortunately it was missing some of the nighttime flair my family told me about (they kept my original reservation) but we had a nice view of the bay and the food was absolutely delicious. West coast clams are truly standout.

I usually avoid Italian restaurants outside of Chicago or New York, but The Pink Door was excellent. I ordered the ahi tuna appetizer and then had the vegetable lasagna for dinner - along with a side of meat sauce. The food was fantastic - the place was packed on a Wednesday night and after eating there I completely understand why. Highly recommended if you have a taste for Italian food while in Seattle.

Excellent food and service. Part of the fun is just finding the entrance. No sign, just a pink door in post alley. This is a must visit for anyone in Seattle

Great atmosphere, food and service. We couldn’t get a reservation so our concierge recommended we try as walk-ins. It was just 5 pm so we tried - it worked! I can see why this place is so popular!

We only found this restaurant because of the trusty Tripadvisor reviews. Those reviews led us to this back alley, and non descript pink door with no sign anywhere. Mysterious. We couldn’t get a reservation so did a super early walk in at 5 pm and got a table. Maybe the last one. The restaurant was full, didn’t see one table. Food is delicious. Appetizer was awesome (mixed charcuterie), with various meats, cheese, tapenade, some grilled veggies. The “half” portion was perfect for two people to share. The bread was yummy! Authentic, crusty, full-of-holes bread, served with a fantastic olive oil for dipping. I won’t tell you how many times we asked for more 😬 We had pasta for mains, one with carciofi, the other with meat sauce. Both fantastic. Our server was attentive. Service quick and efficient. Price was reasonable. The ambience is awesome. Really laid back, not pretentious, but beautiful, makes you feel like you’re eating in some sort of underground Tuscan farmhouse. Really a great experience. Would highly recommend if you’re in Seattle

The service, atmosphere and gluten free Pasta was impeccable. They only had Penne pasta that was gluten free, but a smart way to keep gluten free customers safe. I was so excited to be at a restaurant that actually served gluten free bread, but boy was I disappointed! It was basically sliced sandwich bread! We paid for their grilled bread and I was very disappointed! I would totally recommend going if you have celiac but don’t pay extra for the grilled bread! The flourless chocolate cake with Earl Grey Ice Cream was amazing!!!! Also their Italian soda was sooo good!

Very few restaurants can maintain a legendary standard of excellence for decades. The Pink Door should offer lessons! Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful view, creative menu. Add to that a waitperson who really knows her stuff, and you have a winning combination.

Good ambiance, good service and good choice of food too, so its worth visiting for peaceful or formal meal too. i love all that things.

What an amazing dinner and view from where we sat, service top notch!!! Didn’t have a reservation and told us an hour or so, wasn’t 30 minutes and they had a table for us, ciappino absolutely amazing!!! I’m a chef and trained under a chef from Sicily and always thought his was the best, NOPE, Pink Door absolutely amazing!!! Best I’ve ever had in all my years and travels

It is hard to find this restaurant. Look for the orange door. It wasn't pink to me and there are no signs. Make your reservation weeks in advance if you want one. Even if you do, you will have to wait in line at the door to get in, so arrive early. They do take a waiting list; when we arrived in the late afternoon without a reservation (I had been trying for only one week) we were told it would be one hour wait. However, we said we were fine with sitting at the bar, and the wait was only 30 minutes. The food was fabulous and worth the wait. The decor inside the restaurant reminds me of a brothel and it feels like a very special place that you have to know someone to get in. There is a nice outdoor deck with a view of the water if you just want the Seattle harbor experience. We are vegetarians and enjoyed an appetizer, their wonderful French Fries, the Artichoke Spaghetti and a lovely tart. Everything was great as were the cocktails.

Really enjoyed our lunch. The meatballs were some of the best we have ever had. Service was friendly and timely. Wine list is a little on the limited side. Spectacular views.

What a surprise!!!!!! I went with no expectations, and came across a super charming place, organized, excellent service, great food!

Amazing service. Incredible food. Beautiful view. Get your reservations early! This place is a must visit. Best place time to go if you don’t have reservations is 11:30 am for lunch.

Great flavor combinations and our server was able to help find fun choices. And it really is found behind a pink door in an alley.

This is the best restaurant. I highly recommend everyone to go to. The ambiance is cozy, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family.

Oh so lovely. The bread was to die for. The carpaccio and fresh pastas were delicious. An incredible experience. If you want a reservation, be online at midnight when they open about 30 days in advance because they WILL fill up.

On vacation and had heard wonderful stories about this eatery. The restaurant appears to be located in an alley. However we knew we had arrived when we found a line for both walk-ins and another for reservations. We were walk ins. The ambience and decor of the restaurant was inviting. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and always near by. Both our meals were excellent. We had seafood dishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant however reservations are generally required. We were lucky to get in.

We are visiting Seattle for the first time & had our first dining experience at the Pink Door. The restaurant was buzzing with customers in a very upbeat atmosphere. Our waitress Raluca was excellent answering any questions we had mostly about what to do in Seattle. Chris, the restaurant manager also went well above the call in recommendations, even writing down suggestions & printing an area map. Now for the food: garlic bread, Caesar salad, & house salad for starters- all nice & fresh to accompany our wine & Jameson & Ginger. We had the lasagna & eggplant parmigiana which were both excellent. We split a dessert- the pumpkin cheesecake which was the best we ever had & we eat a lot of cheesecake. Highly recommend the Pink Door!

Highly recommend for anyone with dietary restrictions! I appreciate how seriously this restaurant takes food allergies. As someone with a nut allergy, I felt completely safe dining here.

It’s funny you don’t realize it’s called the pink door because that’s the only identifier to know you’ve arrived. Which was kinda fun. We got a really close table to the aerialist’s show and got to see them perform two separate times during our dinner reservation once on the silks and the second on a hoop. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the area. I’m not a big Italian food fan but I’d most definitely come back again for their lasagna!

Yes, amazing experience, not just lunch. Its great serviceand awesome food. especially the peach cobbler. If you can get in it is worth it.

We tried to eat here on our last visit to Seattle and failed, so this time we made a reservation well in advance. What a great decision, it does not look like anything from the outside, just a pink door and a line for made reservations and hoping, Thankfully having our reservation got us quickly seated, the restaurant is split into two areas, dining area with bar as you enter and the rear is a large dining room with outside views. We were sat in the first area and were entertained by a young lady doing circus maneuvers in a ring (very impressive) The food we ordered was excellent, frito del mare, chicken with polenta, salmon special, grilled peppers and an amazing cake with jam. Our wine choice was a very drinkable super Tuscan and service was excellent. This was one of our most enjoyable dinners in quire some time and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend you book, it is very good

This place is incredible in every single way. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients and preparation is incredible. This is a must visit place if you are in the area. I think they open reservations one month at a time. Getting a reservation is the toughest thing about this place.

Came here on July 5 in hopes to get a walk in. Came right when they had power outage but able to get a seat at the bar once it was back up less than 10 minutes later. Meal, ambiance, and bar staff(Scott, Matt and Zach(sp?)) were all great. Highly recommended. If you’re flexible with a small group (less than 4) then try a walk in with high probability of waiting. If you can’t be flexible then make a reservation.

Absolutely delicious. Wonderful atmosphere and worth the wait for the reservation. The fresh pasta was incredible. The meatballs with just a slight hint of fennel were very good. The cauliflower “pate” was scrumptious. Highly recommend

Great food with unique atmosphere—we had the tuna crudo, risotto and meatballs! The meatballs were unbelievable. Highly recommend a reservation with seating in the back with a view.

Very good Italian food. Oysters, Fritto Misto, Proscuitto, Papardelle, ... all excellent. Nice wine selection. Top notch service from Stephano P. Small negative; I asked for my Copper River Salmon medium rare but it was cooked all the way through. Also, many of the service staff were rushing around with stern looks on their faces and stood at the bar for several minutes while the bartender (tall, thin) washed glasses only 1-2' away. Finally another bartender took my order. Didn't feel truly welcome until we were seated. I get it, the restaurant is extremely busy and you have to book a month+ out but don't be a victim of your own success. Overall was excellent and I highly recommend.

We have lived north of Seattle for over 30 years and have never been to the pink door. So today we were in Seattle and I had booked the pink door ahead of time. We showed up for our reservation, walked in the pink door and down the stairs. It is such a nice space, you enter where they do the shows. We checked in and went to the back dining room, and we’re seated by a window which was really nice. It was a beautiful day out. My husband ordered a drink called the Dickey. I ordered the hello Madame president. The drink I had was a special. My husband ordered the pappardelle Bolognese. I ordered the seafood special which was a halibut in a pepper sauce with green beans. My husband gave me a tiny taste of his, one little piece of a noodle and one little speck of meat. I gave him a large piece of my halibut. Unfortunately. It was just delicious. The service was good, waiter answered all my questions. The drinks were good, the halibut was outstanding. I really enjoyed the ambience of the place and I would come here again. It is a very nice place.

It's rare that restaurants get five stars on yelp, but this one clearly deserves it. The Pink Door offers some of the best Italian cuisine I've had in a long time. First, let me start by suggesting you get a reservation (we used Opentable) because they book up pretty much every evening. Once you go inside the salmon (not pink) door, you head down the stairs to the main dining room and reception where there was live music playing. The ambiance is lively but still charming. There are more tables in the back as well as a patio. The service was excellent. We never felt rushed and the food came out with enough time between appetizers and entrees that we could actually enjoy what we ordered. Note that bread and olive oil comes with meal (we didn't know this so we ordered bruschetta). Both were delicious, it was just a little more bread than a party of four could consume. We ordered the caprese salad and antipasti salad. Both were good but the antipasti stood out. That's the one to go with. Everything on that plate was terrific. The large caprese is big enough for four to split. The lasagna was incredible, but the star of the meal was the chicken parm with the fried eggplant. The eggplant was incredible. I've had a lot of eggplant in my life, and this was some of the best. The only misfire was the vognole (linguine with clams). The clams were fresh and there were lots of them, but the pasta dish was so salty, I couldn't taste anything except salt. I'm sure they salted the water for the pasta, but that, coupled with the pancetta, it just tasted like straight salt. I couldn't even taste the garlic. It was literally the worse vognole I've ever had, but the rest of the meal was so good, I'm still giving it five stars. We debated about whether to try the red house wine or order a bottle of chianti (we were impressed with the wine list) and decided just to go ahead and try it. In general, the house selection is usually pretty good because most restaurants carefully choose the house wine after trying many at a lower price point, and it was clear in this case, someone took the time to pick a good one. This one was good. And finally, the gelato sundae for dessert was soooooo good. It had chocolate and carmel and big chunks of dark chocolate with nuts. Top notch.

A hidden gem and my absolute favourite restaurant! Gorgeous ambiance and views and so romantic!! I had a wonderful birthday celebration!

Located down a back alley near Pike Place Market, the Pink Door is a gem for the town of Seattle. The restaurant is much bigger on the inside than it seems from outside. The service was fantastic. We had a very knowledgeable and friendly waiter and we were well taken care of. We started off with a half carafe of their house red wine which was really nice. We had an order of arancini, which were very good, especially the sauce they were served with. My wife had the dish named after the restaurant which was their lasagna. I had the rigatoni and meatballs. Both were very good. The prices are not bad considering the location and the service. We wholeheartedly recommend The Pink Door for a wonderful meal.

My opinion on this is: I think it is overrated in popularity, although it is cute and the excellent service its menu does not impress and the food is like any other restaurant that is respected. We waited 2 hours to enter because we had no reservations and my expectations were greater than what I found at the end.

It’s no wonder the Pink Door is a Seattle icon! Outstanding food, great service and excellent location. Every time we visit Seattle, our first choice is to have dinner at The Pink Door. We love their seasonal cocktails to start off the meal. We’ve had the best Caesar salad and pastas there. If you have a choice, ask to be seated on the patio— it adds to the experience of being at the Market and close to the Seattle waterfront.

Wonderful meal to end trip in Seattle. The view at sunset is beautiful and aesthetic of the environment sets a great mood. Our starters included the arancini, fries, prosciutto and burrata with toasted ciabatta bread. The mains were rigatoni meatballs, linguine with baby clams, and the special of the night - salmon. The lemon tart at the end was delicious. We didn’t get our servers name but she was very attentive. Overall, 10/10 recommend this restaurant.

We were lucky enough to get a table at The Pink Door whilst on holiday in Seattle despite me making a stupid error with the booking. We were greeted and not made to feel stupid! Shown to our table immediately. Fantastic decor, quirky but not pretentious. The menu was perfect, not too many choices but plenty for all tastes. Eric, our waiter explained the daily fish and specials. Ahi was delicious followed by the best steak cooked to perfection and delicious sockeye salmon. We didn’t really need desert but couldn’t resist the almond and raspberry cake with panna cotta. We were treated to a trapeze performance (that’s right. A performance! ) just for about 10 mins which was captivating. The best food with the best service and the best ambiance we have experienced in a long time. Well worth the hype, if you can get a table… do it!

Derek went out of his way to catch us to seat us sooner. Frankie’s service was special! Food was soo good, fresh! Definitely a 10/10

From the outside, it’s just a washed out pink door and nothing much more than that. However on the inside, it’s a beautifully decorated restaurant. We couldn’t get a reservation, but were seated immediately in the bar. What luck! We had the scallops which were the evening special but were salty and flavorless, the rest of the meal was absolutely fabulous. We started the meal with the Arancini that was served with a Calabrian Chili Sauce that made you want to lick the plate. Definitely the best I’ve ever eaten and I’ve tried them in Italy and wasn’t impressed. Then came the scallops as I said they were salty and flavorless in a broth that was also over salted. However, our server, Scott, who we nicknamed the Dark Flash was absolutely AMAZING. He was so friendly, funny and so concerned that we weren’t happy with the scallops. To make it right, he comped us the best Gingerbread Toffee Cake on the planet. Yummy! If it wasn’t for all the Christmas cookies at home, I would have had another one.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We had hear good things about the restaurant, but were concerned by the lack of available reservations for dinner. Eventually chose an 11:30 lunch time. Arrived a little early and were surprised to see close to 50 people ahead of us in line. And on the the other side of the pink door there was a line of walk ups. Didn't realize that the restaurant opened for lunch at 11:30. The line moved fairly quickly and we were surprised to see how large the restaurant was, with at least three distinct seating ares. I would estimate that it held at least 200 people. We were seated on the covered patio. Not much of view towards the water, but a very nice ambience. We ordered the bruschetta & caesar salad as appetizers and everything tasted fresh. For mains my wife ordered the 'linguine alla vongole' which she enjoyed, but definitely needed more seasoning. I had the pappardelle al rage bolognese which was utterly fantastic. One of the best pasta dishes that I had ever eaten. The noodles cooked to perfection and a sauce to die for. The desserts were marvellous as well. Attentive and friendly service. We would love to visit the Pink Door again. Highly recommend. Don't be discouraged by the lack of reservations, just join the walk up line.

Whilst the food was good, the customer service was shockingly poor for such an establishment. Younger members of waiting staff should be better trained in how to treat their customers.

My husband and I booked dinner at The Pink Door for our last night in Seattle, and it didn’t disappoint. We were seated at a lovely table in the back overlooking the water. We had the tuna appetizer, the kale salad, lasagna, bolognese, and pumpkin bread pudding for dessert. For cocktails, we had the stormy night (or something of a similar name) and the cranberry gin cocktail. I was worried that it would be a tourist trap, but it was anything but. It was an exquisite meal with an attentive waiter (and staff). It is a must when in Seattle. I highly recommend reservations well in advance of dining there. Thank you, Pink Door, for a great meal and a great night.

The food was tasty. In my experience Italian food is heavy, but the ingredients were fresh and so nicely cooked that it felt light. It took us a while to find the restaurant, we must have passed it two or three times. It's a light pink door with no sign and it looks like the back door an employee would use. I think the restaurant does this on purpose to keep the cruise tourists out. Haha! The service was great, everyone was so nice. Nicely decorated. My 9 year old blushed at the statue of David right next to the hostes' desk.

It’s been about seven years since I last visited here and every single time I come, it’s just better and better! Each of the 3 times (3 different decades) I’ve dined here. I sat in a different area. This time we sat next to the window with a view of Pungent Sound. Who chi was delightful, but the main entrance Dining room is magical as well. We started with the risotto, balls, appetizer they were perfect . I would definitely order them again. Then we had a beet salad, which was really good. Lastly, we had the fettuccine with clams and pancetta. There were so many baby clams. I absolutely would order this again. The wine by the glass is a large pour and reasonably priced. This is a special occasion restaurant or if you just come here you’ll feel special. Can’t wait to return.

This place is the real deal. The service is always great but the food is over the top. There is a reason The Pink Door is number one. The place is a little hard to find and getting reservations are tough but I can tell you it is worth the effort and wait. I had a roasted chicken and spring onion strata. It was one of the best meals you can get in Seattle. Keep up the great work. This was a business party of four with four different entrees and we all agreed the meal was amazing. Highly recommend!

WOW! The seven month wait to get a reservation was worth every bite! The pale,( very pale!!) pink door opens into a small foyer. STOP. LOOK AROUND! See the Vespa on the ledge? The Ariel ist hanging scarves?, the clown coming through the “ window”?,!!! You will walk down 10 easy carpeted steps, to the host counter. The well stocked bar and the tables in the Front room.. Walk past the single table (for 2) up the 3 stairs… Past the kitchen, and the friendly staff, to the bistro dining room. Beautiful chandeliers, white table cloths, candles and a stunning view are enchanting. The food! Antipasto, chowder, mommas meatballs with pasta… delicious crusty bread, and enhanced olive oil. Salmon, risotto, pork chop…a bottle of Chianti… espresso and dessert! We were there on a Tuesday night. 7:00 PM was our reservation time. The dress code? Well, it was “ assorted” Ladies in capris and colorful tops, slacks and jackets( think Zara)dresses… men were in collared shirts, long sleeve shirts, sport coats( no ties were seen)… and then the guests in jeans, shorts(!) were also enjoying the delicious food and beautiful ambiance. If we lived in Seattle this would be our “ go to “ spot.

Excellent restaurant. Refined cuisine. Friendly staff. Beautiful typical decoration. Not easy to find as there is no name, just a pink door. Reservation required.

This eatery has a well deserved good reputation for both the quality of good and service and its quirkyness. There are no signs outside the place - instead, you have to look for the unmarked pink door down an an alley. And to complicate things, the door isn't really pink - it's more of a salmon color. You do need a reservation and I understand there is a limit on how far in advance you can book. We were there for the rehearsal luncheon for our son's wedding, but we ordered from the regular menu. Be advised that this is not a cheap restaurant, but the food is outstanding. The menu is italian/mediterranean and ranges from ordinary spaghetti Bolognese to not exotic dishes. Our entire party were all pleased, but I have to save that the 'bronzini-style' white fish was fabulous. Service is professional and competent.

We loved the fish specials and just about all the dishes served. In addition, all the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We will definitely come back.

Always a pleasure coming at The Pink Door, an ialian restaurant. Really good cooking and pleasant atmosphere. Prices are still affordable.

Number one in Seattle for a reason. Didn’t want to wait in line for dinner. Went for lunch. Nice waterfront view. Service was very attentive and food was worthy of their ranking. Wife is scouring the internet for a restaurant cookbook. Best meal of the year for her.

This place came highly rated and didn’t disappoint. Service was good and the food was fantastic! Arancini and eggplant Parmesan for dinner were wonderful, and their house wine was great! This is also a beautiful place to dine! Great views in the dining room. I just wish I had seen the entertainment. Warning- it is a bit difficult to find but, alas, look for the actual Pink Door in Post Alley. I can’t wait to return and my companions felt the same!

If you are looking for a great place to eat in the heart of Seattle, this is a great spot. Make sure to make a reservation if you don’t want to wait a long time or sit at the bar. Friendly staff and great food, win - win!

Went here with my husband and had the most lovely experience. We started with two appetizers the ahi tuna crudo and arancini. Both were delightful. For our drinks we told the server our favorite liquors and flavor profile and let her pick. The drinks were delightful, a paper airplane and the last word. For our meal I ordered the halibut and my husband the ribeye. Both were seasoned and cooked perfectly with sides that complemented the flavor profile of the main dish. For dessert we had the raspberry almond cake with rose scented panacotta and the server introduce Me to a French 75 which o think is my new favorite drink. Everything was joyful, enjoyable and whimsical.

Since you arrive it is an experience, the Door is literally Pink and very ugly, but the moment you enter it becomes a nice, comfortable, nice and spacious place, the food is spectacular, the Service is off serious, and the experience is worth it

Valentine's Day at the Pink Door might be the only place that would be worth staying up till midnight 30 days ealier to make a reservation. Really. Ambience, a delightful and personable server, wonderful menu and picture perfect food.Served piping hot on piping hot plate. I haven't been there in 25 years. Not going to make that mistake again.

It was a fun atmosphere. There was a costume contest for staff and live music. It was not quite what I expected, but the food was excellent. It is definitely definitely not your Olive Garden type of Italian food. The Trenne was delicious! The meatballs were good too! Some other people in my group got the Alaskan halibut and they loved it.

This restaurant is not what is “hyped” up to be!!! It’s located in a an alley way with other restaurants nearby. A person in a wheelchair or having difficulty walking would not be able to go down a flight of stairs to the restaurant, unless they had other means to get customers down which we didn’t see. Besides this, the restaurant was packed, very busy, live band playing in the corner. Definitely need a reservation or else you might wait a awhile. We were seated in a very cozy spot overlooking the bay. Our waitress was pleasant but not so ambitious that she was coming to our table to check how our meal was going. The meal was mediocre! The menu had a lot of choices to choose from. The wine list was ok but not as extensive as other establishments. My wife’s frutta di mare was good and cooked to perfection but my linguine with clams was another issue-there was very little linguine and there must of been 20+ littleneck clams piled on top of the pasta that you couldn’t even see it. The clams were very dry and should of been mixed in the linguine in a little broth. I was very very disappointed especially on this special occasion, our Wedding Anniversary!!! The team didn’t even acknowledge our Anniversary which was mentioned several times when we placed the reservation!!!!! We will never ever come back!!!

Just been for a delicious lunch!! Best food we have had in the USA since arriving 10 days ago! Restaurant is gorgeous with views of the water. Antipasti of the housecwas perfect with a half portion being big enough for 2. Dh had scallops and salad which were cooked to perfection and I had the papardelle ragu which was super delicious! Service was amazing with a lovely waiter and the pale ale was delicious and cold. Well worth the $117 ( Inc tax)

“If you see me walking down the street…walk on by. Walk on by.” Dionne Warwick After years of listening to @daphae11 implore us to try “The Pink Door”, we literally nearly “walk(ed) on by” it when we finally decided to visit during this trip to Seattle. As you can see from our picture, they aren’t much into exterior signage. I guess you’re either on a direct path here or you’re just gonna “walk on by” it. We’ve walked Post Alley many times before and I’m sure each of those times we thought nothing about that pink door on our way past it. There are at least two reasons why we concluded that they take the preparation of their Italian-American dishes pretty seriously. First, the Arancini, Rigatoni and Meatballs, and Linguine Vongole were each worth the time we spent in search of this elusive and mysterious pink door. Second, anyone notice the statement featured on their menu just below the Tuscan Fries & Fried Herbs? And I quote, “No, we do not have ketchup.” 🤣 The wood floors, and the stairs descending down into the restaurant from Post Alley up above, hinted that dimming the lights and adjusting the decor could transform the vibe here into one projecting a small, exclusive jazz club feel. Reservations are highly recommended, but we found their online waitlist very effective at getting us a table with minimal delay. And that’s…Henry’s Take. #pinkdoortreasures #pinkdoorseattle #postalleyrestsurants

Food was nice, we would visit again and try once more. It was full of flavour and well executed. I can’t put my finger on why but it just didn’t blow me away, maybe the hype of the famous pink door left me expecting more The service was very good and our waiter was very attentive.

Superb food, service and environment! What is behind the door is well worth waiting for. A very special place!

Dinner.....was all good. Apps were great---Tuna &Sweet Corn ...Service ,Food, Drinks were great....Wine (Not High end, but acceptable) were good.

Great service, great food great wine and cocktails. We dine here occasionally and took two couples… both locals who had never been. Pink Door never disappoints. Vongole is my favorite… loaded with delicious clams, lasagna is my husband’s favorite. The anti pasta is epic. Specials good as well. The budino (kind of like butterscotch pudding) was just perfect … so good. Just go.

Great food and atmosphere. A three piece jazz band played while we dinned. The lasagna and Penne Pasta with vodka sauce are our recommendations.

We showed up two hours early for our reservation but they found us a table. We sat in the back of the restaurant next to the bandstand and it was great for us because we loved the live music. We had a beer and later a nice bottle of wine with dinner. We shared the small House Antipasto and it was very good. We both had the Cioppino Pink Door as our entrees. This was excellent. Great service. Reasonable prices. Enjoy!

Wonderful spot for a sister's weekend in Seattle! We went for dinner, and we were lucky to sit outside on a gorgeous evening. Food was fantastic, with a varied selection of choices, which helps when one of us has a seafood allergy. Service was wonderful, very attentive and knowledgeable.

Enjoyed our meal and experience at the Pink Door very much. Has a 1920s vibe as you enter. The band was setting up and the lighting and decor were fancy. We ate at the back side of the restaurant upon request and had a perfect view of the Seattle Great Wheel. We all loved our meals- linguine with clams, lamb shank, arancini balls and great cocktails. I was so surprised to see a wine from Cinque Terre on the wine list. My friend had a drink that he only orders in restaurants that he feels can make it right and they did! We also had great service. We got a reservation on the first day it was released so mark your calendar!

We went for a late late lunch at 3.30, they had plenty of tables for walk ins which was great. They sat us in the back in a large room decorated eclectically with gold booths, chandeliers and cherubs everywhere (loved it!!!). There is definitely a speakeasy vibe about the place which adds to the appeal 😀 The food was great, portion sizes perfect for UK appetites (not enormous!) and our waitress was amazing, a real dynamo! Cheerful, friendly, helpful and a consummate professional; we left a big tip. Loved it - highly recommended

Very Delicious food. Well trained & well behaved staff. Very good restaurant specially family, friends & couples. We enjoy here our best moment.

If you can snag a reservation here, do it — but honestly, even if you can’t, they hold a few tables each night for walk-ins, and it’s so worth the wait. The Pink Door is one of those rare places that’s somehow both trendy and timeless. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated — chic, eclectic, and a little bit artsy — and when the live music starts, it’s pure magic. We were lucky enough to be seated in the back dining room overlooking the Ferris wheel and the Salish Sea, and the view alone could’ve made the night. But then came the food — and wow. From the appetizers to the pappardelle pasta and rabbit (plus alllll the bread), everything was beyond delicious. Huge shoutout to our server, Jeannie, who was amazing — warm, attentive, and clearly loves what she does. We left already planning our next visit. This place is beautiful, delicious, and full of charm. We’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere. We got seated as requested near a window we could view the sound with. Our waiter…I think his name was Ryan, was very friendly and accommodating. He suggested I try the lasagna and it delivered. Very creamy, rich, and flavorful. I don’t normally order lasagna but I do recommend this. My friend ordered fish and he said it was also excellent. Should I ever travel to Seattle I would love to return to this restaurant.

Was told they take reservations a month in advance. We walked in at 6:00 pm and in 20 minutes got an amazing table one away from the window overlooking the water. Probably not common in the summer months. The food was very good and staff were friendly. We ordered the Pacific Northwest fish of the day special of Alaskan halibut. It had a butternut purée with Brussel sprouts and some carrots. My husband and I got the antipasto 1/2 to share with bread and shared the special. We also shared a rhubarb crumble. We were both very full and the fish and dessert were amazing. The antipasto was okay.

Eating here feels like being in a secret club. From the minute you open the door and see the stunning lounge, to the walk to the back dining room that is breathtaking. You will want to try everything on the menu. We enjoyed the arancini, the bitter greens salad, the gnocchi and the tortellini. We found their prices to be quite reasonable for the experience, including the wine list.

What a great meal! That was the best lasagna I’ve ever eaten. I lucked into a reservation for the Pink Door, and I’m glad I did. The line without a reservation seemed very long. It was great food, great service and great drinks. I’d highly recommend.

My husband and I visited for our 15th anniversary. Everything was impeccable; from the decor, to the service, to the food. I am forever impressed with the incredible and professional service. Thank you to the lovely employees who made our night incredibly special.

First, the service was absolutely amazing! One person in our party got stuck in traffic and Kristy told us not to worry, “I’m here all night” She was knowledgeable about the menu. She was able to give suggestions for gluten free choices and knew all the ingredients of the dishes. The food!!! WOW! I had the lasagna and it was the absolute best I’ve ever had! A friend in our party had a birthday and Kristy brought our shared dessert out with a candle and sang happy birthday with us! The atmosphere was so fun and eclectic on the patio. Great place!

Finally went to the Pink Door after hearing raves about it for years. Not sure what the fuss is all about. Service was lackadaisical and the food was nothing special. To be specific: Our server was personable but a bit snarky. They never came back to check on us after our main course came out (which, incidentally, took quite a long time). I would suspect that the mandatory 20% service charge (which I do support) has decreased the motivation of the wait staff to attend to the customers. Regarding the food, the Caesar salad was tasty but skimpy and the halibut special was overcooked and dry. My dining companion did enjoy their lasagna, and the linguini with clams was quite good. But overall, I have to say I was underwhelmed by the experience given the hype that this place gets. Would go again but won't be going out of my way to snag a reservation (which is absolutely necessary BTW).

When asking for recommendations on where to eat in Seattle, almost everyone said do not miss the Pink Door. There are no markings on the door at all, you have to know where you are going. Every recommendation was so right. The meal and service were both outstanding. Do not miss the lasagna, spinach noodles made it perfect. The service was just perfect. The weather was very nice, so we ate outside. I will definitely recommend the Pink Door to anyone who is visiting Seattle.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this restaurant. Good food, great service, and a nice venue. If you’re lucky you have a Seaview.

Food was average, the bruschetta was the best tasting dish we had. Our server was nice but for the price point expected better service. The ambiance was great and was a lovely restaurant. But can't justify what all the hype is all about.

Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. From the ‘almost’ secret entrance door to the superb food and customer service- everything outstanding.

Great spot! Make reservations early...30 days prior, I think. Seemed popular with locals. The little pink door in the alley was easy to miss. I got us in by sitting at the bar for a fabulous dinner. We has the Everything Green salad which was creative and delicious. Totally enjoyed the spaghetti with artichokes and fish of the day which was salmon cooked to perfection. The Boobie Cake was a satisfying finale. Attentive service even at the bar. Wine recommendation was on target. Thanks, Zach. The trapeze artist was entertaining but go for the food. Local and more than satisfying.

Would not have known this place was here if we weren’t looking for it. Stopped for lunch. Decor was whimsical- the kind of cool stuff you’ll find in an antique store. Food was very good, I had the autumn risotto, and my wife had the clams and muscles pasta- we both enjoyed it very much. Would come back again.

Food was fabulous!! It was nice that wine was offered in a carafe for easy ordering. We were not in the main dining area which we were bummed about at first but we were sat in the back overlooking the water and it was so beautiful. Just a heads up for travelers - the aerial is only on Saturdays which I would’ve known if I read! The atmosphere was great. The food was great. All around amazing!

First visit to The Pink Door though I've been to Seattle many times, and have seen reviews and mentions of it often. I just wasn't sure exactly where it was! On my visit this spring, I had a few hours around lunch before my room at Inn at the Market was ready to check in. Googling nearby places for lunch, of course I noticed this one, and it is literally just half a block up Post Street Alley from the Inn. It was a nice sunny spring day, so I'd hoped the patio was open, it wasn't; the host asked if I'd like a table close to the windows instead - yes, please! The restaurant is a lot bigger inside than it looks from outside - the first room you enter is a slightly darker/moodier space and bar, plus the small stage where the evening entertainment takes place; then you pass by the entrance to the patio a few steps up; then through some smaller seating areas to the largest open dining space full of windows and light and views over Elliott Bay and the market. Beautiful! The place was full and busy at 1:30 on a weekday. As a solo diner, I appreciated that they sat me at a nice small banquette table close to the windows and didn't try to fit me in somewhere in a corner or assume I wanted a seat at the bar :) My one disappointment came when the server arrived to greet me and he filled me in on two menu items that weren't available - the spaghetti con carciofi was what I'd planned to order after googling the menu earlier, and that was one of the two they didn't have. Things happen, and he gave a great explanation. I ordered the penne alla vodka instead, and the Pink Door mocktail. The pasta was delicious, drink was very refreshing and spring-y, with a cute striped straw. The bread and olive oil were both brilliant but the olive oil in particular was delicious. Service was great from start to finish, attentive but not overly so. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, great service! One thing to note: although you enter directly from the street/alley on a flat surface, once you're inside, there is a flight of stairs directly in front of you to enter/exit the space. I didn't see an elevator, so if you have concerns about accessibility, you should double check with the restaurant. Also once inside, there are a few steps up/down to the patio area.

This is a high end Italian restaurant with a small but good selection of seafood. It is down an alley and there is no sign just a pink door. Service was excellent as was the catch of the day.

We made reservations two months ahead to sit in the dining room with a view and they did not disappointed. We ate oysters, Cioppino, Gnocchi, and had rhubarb crisp and espresso cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious and the staff was efficient and friendly.

My first ever experience of being a solo diner and I couldn’t have picked a better place. They looked after me and made me feel very welcome. Excellent service and really delicious food. I had the tuna crudo to start which was zesty, fresh and delicious. I also had the meatball with sauce. Yum. The bread and olive oil also excellent. I loved it so much I dined there with friends the following night. Highly recommend

What an amazing meal! Went here for lunch today. We shared the asparagus appetizer. I ordered the pappardelle, wow amazing sauce and homemade pasta. My husband had rigatoni and meatballs and he really enjoyed his too. Service was great too! Can’t recommend this spot enough!

Loved this restaurant. Being called The Pink door we were surprised the door wasn’t really Pink. - would be great. Loved the NW food, wonderful service and views of the sound. We had a table outside on the shaded terrace with a view - lovely. Highly recommend reserving.

One of my favorite restaurants to eat at when I’m the area for travel. Highly recommend their happy hour.

Everything was excellent. From the atmosphere to the service to the food. Seafood was cooked to perfection. Server was on it and water filled without asking. Amazing meal. A must when visiting Seattle.

The atmosphere, food and service was amazing. The corn and dungeons crab app was incredible. The Bore ragoue was one of the best meals I have ever had.

Absolutely incredible. The staff are very attentive, and made sure we were taken care of for the entire dinner. The food is so fresh and beautifully made, and the atmosphere is cozy & romantic. An absolute gem. Fantastic experience.

Very funky place...no sign on the door. Food was amazing!!! Probably the best lasagne I have ever eaten! My husband had the chicken parmesean...cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend!!

Restaurant was recommended by a family member and it did not disappoint. As you may have seen the entrance makes this site look quite hidden and unassuming, reservations are recommended for dinner but lunch you may be able to walk in, which is what we did. The food was fresh and locally sourced. The heirloom tomatoes on the bruschetta tasted like they were just picked that day. We enjoyed the Alaskan halibut special, the Trenne (pistachio cream pasta) as well as the cioppino. The cioppino was loaded with seafood and I enjoyed every bite. The server brought crusty bread which was helpful to ensure I got all the broth too! Service was great and the view overlooks the marketplace. The restaurant is pricey.

Everything about our night at the Pink Door was five-star fabulousness! We had dinner there on our last night in Seattle and it was the perfect way to end our holiday. We were seated in the outdoor seating area in the cutest table for two with the most spectacular view. We loved the decor, the food was delicious and the aerial artiste that we managed to see on our way out of the restaurant was incredible! A very special thanks to Abbey who was outstanding 🙏 She was friendly, funny, warm and attentive, as well being very professional and knowledgeable. She definitely made our night extra special and she made us feel like VIPs! We only wish we’d visited earlier so we could have visited more than once! Thanks for a wonderful evening - Kate and Terence from Edinburgh

The food and beverages are excellent. The grilled entire fish and the clam pasta were outstanding. The antipasto and green salad were excellent. We received helpful service and courteous treatment. The chairs were the one item that didn't live up to my expectations. They were too high for the tables, causing you to stoop while eating.

Yes, experience, not just dinner. We stumbled upon this gem and immediately got seating at 5 pm on a Tuesday. How lucky were we?! Eric was our server and just amazing - attentive and discussed the menu in detail because there were so many tantalizing choices. The food was phenomenal - well flavored and huge portions. Ambiance was romantic. Overall, just a wonderful experience. Definitely a must do on a trip to Seattle!

Spectacular! The best food experience in Seattle! We enjoy it! We hope came back in next summer for another experience for sure!

You really have to be looking for this spot — it’s literally just a pink door with no sign out front, which only adds to its charm. Definitely make reservations; even at 11:30 a.m. when they opened for lunch, the place was already bustling. We started with a half carafe of crisp white wine while my husband enjoyed a local brew. The fritto misto was fresh and perfectly fried — light, crunchy, and delicious. We followed with a large Caesar salad topped with seared prawns — the portions were generous and the prawns were huge, tender, and full of flavor. The pasta vongole was equally impressive, loaded with clams and beautifully seasoned. Even though we shared everything, we still left absolutely full and happy. The ambiance is quirky yet cozy, the service impeccable, and James along with the entire waitstaff made us feel so welcome. We absolutely loved everything about this place and can’t wait to return.

After staying up until midnight one month in advance we finally scored a reservation during our Seattle trip. The Pink Door is literally what we looked for to find this restaurant as there were no signs posted in the alley. Once inside I was surprised by how large it actually was as we descended the stairs to the front desk. The front seating area was closer to the live band but we got seated in the back with nicer views of the water and Ferris wheel. They have outdoor seating as well but not while it was raining that night. Decor was nice and unique. It was cozy and comfortable. Entree prices were quite reasonable for the quality of food. The clam linguine and ahi crudo were excellent. Desserts were a bit overly sweet but still a nice end to our meals. The reason for four circles was that the service was just ok. Our server was too busy to check on us so many times our water glasses ran empty and we had to wait around or flag someone else. Other tables had more attention. Overall would like to come back again.

We had dinner at The Pink Door on a Friday evening in August. Reservations are essential and can be difficult to get. They are open 30 days out. We were seated immediately at a very nice table. All of our food was excellent.....fresh and very well prepared. I particularly enjoyed the Cioppino. Our server was very good but slowed down a little when the restaurant became crowded. Regardless, we had a great meal. For some reason, the owners/management feel the need to display their politics with window signs and even on the menu. When we travel and go out for nice meals, this is not what we need to see. To some degree, it is what we're trying to escape. It takes away from the experience at such a good restaurant.

The Pink Door is one of Seattle's most iconic restaurants. That kind of notoriety often means over-hype, but the Pink Door did not disappoint. Tucked into popular Post Alley, it's not easily identified...just look for the pink metal door. Eclectic in style with a variety of live performers, the menu offers something for everyone. The lasagna is famous but the ribeye was perfectly prepared. Good food, fun atmosphere, attentive service make for a fine dining experience.

I located The Pink Door as a restaraunt option when planning for our recent trip to Seattle. My family of four had a reservation for lunch the day of our arrival. I was thankful I read enough reviews to know there is no sign, just simply a pink door. That was helpful as the door was open so otherwise we may have missed it. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. We were given the choice upon arrival and opted to enjoy the natural weather from the patio. Each member of the staff we encountered was friendly. We shared the tuna crudo to begin with. Three of us had the halibut special and one of us had the clams and mussels. Our entrees were amazing. The fish was flavorful and flakey just as you would hope halibut to be. The squash and couscous it was served over had a nice spicy flavor to it which was a nice touch. Thank you Pink Door for a great first dining experience in Seattle.

Highly recommend making reservations beforehand, however, we were lucky enough on our first visit to get a seat without one. The food is top notch and it such a cool vibe inside the restaurant. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It was so good we came back a second time before we left to go back to California. Clearly this place is a favorite for a reason!

We were seated within 5 minuted of reservation. Great view overlooking the public market out at the water. A fun, eclectic atmosphere in amazing food all excellent with a great weight staff. It’s easy to walk past the entrance. To say the entrance is subtle is by far and understatement. You almost have to know that it’s there.

The food was EXCELLENT! As was the service, ambiance and view! If I lived in Seattle, I’d be in BIG trouble! Ingot the fresh caprese salad with the most incredible fresh tomatoes! The chicken parm is NOT to miss!! Especially the eggplant! We also got the Butterscotch budino and basil cake! It was all phenomenal but the parm? Life changing. I’ve never EVER tasted anything like it.

Wonderful restaurant, my favorite in Seattle. Always welcoming great first impression, food and service! Very good to enjoy and or entertain

Definitely make a reservation to secure your spot. We had not been here before so were a little bit puzzled about where to enter because the door looked beige and not pink (LOL). We were greeted by friendly staff and immediately taken to our table. Water glasses were filled right away and once the other couple arrived we ordered cocktails while we looked over the menu. Lots of choices for starters (which I love!). At this point the service started to slow down. As far as the food goes, the arancini was just okay, the oysters were delicious with a tangy mignonette sauce, and the tuna crudo was my favorite. For main dishes, the risotto was very salty, the lamb was on the cold side and not all that satisfying, the pappardelle ragu was divine, and the everything green salad makes me want to go back and have it again. As mentioned, the service was slow but cheerful. All in all, we're glad we dined here but probably would save some $$ by just having the tuna crudo, the everything green salad, and a mixed drink next time.

After dining here, I can see why it's a MUST when visiting Seattle. The food, atmosphere and service were nearly perfect. We had a view of the water from our seat, bit were seated away from the stage, so we could only hear the performance. This was the only drawback though. All 3 courses we had were mouth watering and in just the right amount. It was so good we were shocked when we got the bill. It was much less than we expected for what we got. If you're looking for amazing food for a great price, you must make the effort to eat here. You won't regret it!

It’s a nice restaurant with unique design in the interior. We went there for lunch when they just opened so we got seated immediately. The view from our seats was great with the Great Wheel in the background. The staff were nice but I didn’t get that ‘happy to have you’ vibe I’ve had in other places that strives to give you a very pleasant experience dining with them. It seems like we the patrons are the ones that need to be grateful for having the opportunity to dine with them. It must be because it’s hard to get reservations with them especially for dinner when there are shows which must be great but I couldn’t speak of since we haven’t seen one. The food were good and well plated but we’ve had better Italian dishes in other places. The fish of the day was fresh and cooked right. They are bit pricey but it’s in the heart of touristy Pike Place so it is rightly so. Went there for the experience. I might try to come back just to see the night scene.

I was solo and ordered the pasta pescatore from the bartender's suggestion. It's not on the menu. Ask for it. All 5he food is really good. Go here. It's a little off the beaten path from the market. Expect to wait a bit for a table.

Celebrated a birthday there. Had a special cocktail ordered in advance as a surprise. It was perfect.

We made reservations 30 days out for a Saturday night to sit in the lounge. We were seated immediately upon arrival. They had a good wine selection, with half bottle choices! The tables are close together but not claustrophobic. The Arancini were small, cheesier than I have experienced but delicious!! The lasagna was good. The music would increase in volume when the artist was about to perform her aerial or lyric routine. During our dinner she performed twice for about 3-4 minutes each. She was amazing

Be warned that while the place is interesting and makes you feel in New York or Paris, the food is as good as cooking at home and service especially from the manager and owner is as terrible as you will get anywhere in Seattle. This restaurant is unfortunately just hype and the management is absolutely rude and tasteless. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are other places in Seattle that are charming, good food and you will feel welcomed

I had to be solo guy while my spouse was doing business in Seattle. I tagged along, but during the day I had to enjoy the sights, sounds and food of Seattle on my own. I read some reviews on a Seattle institution for chow called The Pink Door, and decided to venture there for lunch all by my lonesome. I got there as the joint opened, joined the no reservations line of folks waiting, and despite the length of the line, easily got in. I opted to sit at the bar, avoiding the look of the single guy at a table who couldn't get a date or a friend. My service was provided by a bartender who juggled his duties while promptly taking my order. I selected the Ciopino. The food came out promptly, without the rush. As I started to sample my dish, I was soon joined at the bar by other hungry diners. I must say, my Ciopino was one of the better experiences I've had with the dish; it was rich in seafood with a tomato broth that was flavorful and well-rounded. I wish I could have complimented it with a nice white wine, but I'd recently put wine on my no-go list, at least for a while. Hopefully, future business trips will take me there again and I'll definitely try a reservation; next time for dinner with the spouse.

I was vey excited to go to the Pink Door. Having traveled all over the world and love Italian. The rigatoni and meatballs I ordered by far was the worst meal I have had at a mid/higher end Italian restaurant. I was so hungry I just ate and left. Waitress never came back to even ask how our food was. All about the volume. My wife said she had a good meal. Too bad since we had such great food all week in Seattle.

Every bite was fabulous! Shared the Arancini, Caesar salad, lasagne, papardelle ragu and boobie for dessert.

Beautiful place! Very romantic with yummy food. It has a great view that I really enjoyed. I will definitely recommend this gem

We have always chosen The Pink Door for celebrating a special occasion - especially during the holidays. The lights are up, the candles lit, and the big wheel glows down on the waterfront. Last night was no exception - very festive. But for the past 2 years, every time we dine there the food is more average. The kitchen must be slammed every night now, and the food reflects this. I keep hoping it will be better - really special as it used to be. I'm not sure this be our choice next time.

This place is the real deal: Authentic Italian food that isn't layered in grease. If you're used to takeout places, the higher prices and smaller portions might come as a surprise. But trust me, the quality is incredible and you will savor every bite! i have been coming with my wife for years and we've tried just about everything on the menu. There aren't many dishes we didn't enjoy.

Definitely recommend this place! The food was delicious, and the servers were very friendly and attentive. Tasty seasonal cocktails and house wine in a fun atmosphere.

Such a cute, charming place. Fun ambience. Enjoyed our pasta and scallop plates. Wish we would’ve been able to sit with a better view of the pier, but glad we got in since it was a bit of a last minute reservation. Worth a visit if you have time.

This is a highly rated spot but it's huge so you likely won't have to wait for a table like everyplace else in Pike Place Market. It's a bonafide sit-down Italian restaurant and super cute. It may be hard to find at first--there's no physical signage. Use your GPS and you'll come to a literal pink wood door in Post Alley. Push down on the handle and open it--you're there! Drinks, food, service, and ambiance were all a cut above the Pike Place Market experience. No reservation? No problem! They will seat and serve you with a smile! Food was fresh and perfectly portion sized for tourists like us who can't take leftovers home. Thanks TripAdvisor for the recommendation and thank you Pink Door for adding to our already great Seattle stay!

Had a business dinner here. The service was great and the food was fantastic. The additional entertainment was a bonus. I had the short ribs and they were perfect. For dessert had the pumpkin bread pudding. Amazing you will eat more than you planned. Highly Recommend if you can get in.

The Pink Door in Seattle delights with its very good ambiance, exceptional Italian cuisine, and live entertainment, offering a unique and unforgettable dining experience. The music would increase in volume when the artist was about to perform her lyric routine. Seafood was cooked to perfection. I am forever impressed with the incredible and professional service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The Pink Door in Seattle delights with its vibrant ambiance, exceptional Italian cuisine, and live entertainment, offering a unique and unforgettable dining experience.

I'm still not sure how we found this place, but we are so glad that we did. We got the last table available, and actually were considering not staying because most places that busy end up with poor service and rushed food. We are so glad that we stayed. Every single thing about our meal and service and experience as a whole was perfect. We ordered too much food but ate every last bite! The arancini appetizer was so delicious. My husband had the branzino for his main, and I had the lasagna. It was so rich and creamy. The wine list is extensive. We went with Chianti to accompany everything and ate and drank to our heart's delight. I can't say enough about the service. Personal. Friendly. Knowlegable. Perfect timing. This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had.

My only complaint about this restaurant is it was hard to find. You literally look for the pink door. They don’t have a sign. Everyone was so friendly it was like eating among friends. The service was great. Food outstanding and they had live music. We had a lovely view. Try to get a reservation if you are in Seattle.

All dishes excellent, location superb, difficult to get in for a good reason, service is excellent, every dish carefully thought, I chose based on previous reviews and was not dissapointed, if I was a local I would want to try everything on the menu. We had the arancini which was good...prosciutto and burrata was outstanding....I believe "lasanga" to be a basic normal good dish...but this lasagna was absolutely the best lasagna I have ever had.....we also ordered the linguini clams which was excellent, and the bronzini which was also great....my fav drink was the rose hips cocktail...sit back and enjoy everything you order this place is superb

So you will walk down an alleyway to get there, and there is no sign, just a pink door. Atmosphere is very nice, it is right next to pikes so great place to stop at if u r shopping there. Is a bit pricey and some of the dishes are on the smaller side but our waitress did a great job of letting us know what was on the lighter side. Fabulous drinks. Would definitely go back

Magical atmosphere at New Years Eve at The Pink Door restaurant! Breathtaking view, delicious food, excellent service ( The Best waitress Emily You’re The Best!!). Highly recommended for any occasion. It’s a must experience!!

We had the pleasure of dining at The Pink Door tonight. It was an excellent meal! We began with an appetizer of Ahi Tuna. The sauce was a beautiful blend of citrus and salty. Our entrees were the Cioppino Pink Door and the Penn Clove Clams and Mussels. Both were excellent. The Cioppino had the right blend of spice and the sauce with the clams and mussels was so smooth and flavorful. Breezy, our waitress, was extremely attentive and helped with recommendations for our meal. Her personality added to the enjoyment of the evening. Definitely make a reservation to experience this exceptional Seattle treasure.

Beautiful place, décor is just stunning. We sat out on the deck and the view was amazing. Excellent food and service. We will definitely come back.

We were given a very friendly welcome and were free to choose whether to sit inside or outside. The terrace is cozy and inviting. The selection of menus is appealingly varied and the food is very, very tasty. Once you have found the entrance (pink colored door), be sure to go in and enjoy.

I came here for dinner with colleagues after being in meetings all day, and this was the perfect way to end the day. The restaurant is imbued in a soft pink ambiance that adds to the refined atmosphere, and the staff are impeccable and friendly. The restaurant is much bigger on the inside than it would appear from the outside, giving this place a cozy, intimate feeling. There's outdoor seating when it's warm enough for it. The food is fresh and locally sourced, and so delicious that we were all stuffed and groaning by the end of the meal. We ended up sharing a bunch of dishes because we all wanted to try everything. I really liked the roasted pumpkin ravioli, the arancini, and the ahi tuna crudo. Portions were surprisingly big for an upper-scale restaurant, and the prices weren't too bad.
Excellent All Around!
We had a wonderful meal at The Pink Door. From appetizer to dessert, we enjoyed the attention to detail and the beautiful freshness of our entrees. The “everything green” salad was so deliciously crisp, fresh, flavorful, and bright. I added the prawns to it, and they were excellent. We loved the drinks we ordered; the “spring thyme in Seattle” special was super light and effervescent. The service was top notch, we were seated at a table with a view per our request, we loved the atmosphere, and the food was some of the best we enjoyed in Seattle. Highly recommend!
