It was the day before St Patrick’s day, so of course we had to find an Irish Pub. I called around for a reservation the next day…. All booked. As we were just walking around found this authentic rustic Irish pub. Walked right in on the 16th, sat at bar, was a little busy mid day, even a big dog inside being quiet. We each had Guinness - I asked if they had green merchandise, so I could wear it the next day. She brought back 2 Tshirts, I said how much it this Guinness one? Oh it’s free !! Perfect price lol

Happened by this place quite by accident, and so glad we did!!! Had been opened just a week. Were greeted by Manager and seated immediately. Gina was our wait person, very attentive and personable. Had the pub burger and my friend had pastrami sandwich. Very good food. Austin still reeling from COVID uptick, however, I do hope this lovely pub does well, perfectly located on 4th street, beautiful decor. Will definitely be back.

Not good. Poor food. Weak drinks. My wife got the cottage pie. All mashed potatoes. Terrible. I got the pastrami sandwich. It was really bad. Then the check came. They automatically charge you a 20% gratuity Looked at my bill. They charged me dor Titos Vodka instead of well. Called the bar tender on it. He took the titos off the bill. Austen has so many wonderful bars and restraunts. This is not one of them.

So glad I stopped in while revisiting Cedar Street—it's been years since I last hung out there enjoying live music. Around lunchtime, I ducked into the nearest spot, which happened to be The Pub. Lucky choice! Siarra took exceptional care of me—she’s an absolute gem. Warm, attentive, and kind, she made the visit memorable. I’m already looking forward to stopping by again for a chat next time I’m in town from Virginia. The fish and chips were decent—nothing fancy—but the service more than made up for it. I love this place! We come here to watch all the games, and it’s always a fun time. Great drinks, cool bartenders, and the atmosphere is awesome! The inside feels like you’re at a pub in the middle of a forest, with pretty amazing murals all around too. I think I was most surprised about the food—literally AMAZING. 5 stars!

Always go here for all sports games, especially for soccer with them opening up bright and early for EPL and such. The food is amazomg as hell also. Place to be for all sports and cozy home vibes for sure
