Best Italian outside of Italy!!

By FiveStarTraveller4 |

Amazzzzing , one of the best Italian meals I have had and I have lived in Italy!! Pasta was homemade and to die for. The Bellinis were the exact same as Harry's Bar in Venice and to die for. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great hotel with fantastic rooms and service

By Sarsywarsy |

I stayed here on business for 9 nights. My room was huge and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. I would advise asking for a room on the side of the hotel away from the road as some of my colleagues had noise issues (although if you are on the higher floors it isn't that noticeable). There's a small gym which was relatively empty most mornings as is open 24/7. I didn't try the spa but heard that the massages were good. There's a good selection of dishes on the room service menu and the hotel bar has a wide range of drinks. The bar itself has a luxurious yet relaxed feel with some seating outside. The yacht club area is a great space for private events. I didn't dine in the restaurant so can't comment on this. All the staff were very polite, friendly and efficient and thoroughly professional. The hotel is about 20 minutes drive from the main tourist sites on Hollywood Boulevard and is also close to Venice and Santa Monica so it's a good base for a holiday. There are some excellent restaurants nearby, I particularly recommend Sotto.

Lovely Spot

Had Mother's Day Dinner at Mr. C's. Lovely hotel and restaurant. Bellini is the signature drink so you have to have one. Very delish. Food was very good also. My husband had one complaint but they took care of it without hesitation. Service was spectacular. Pricey but perfect for a special occasion when you want to splurge. Would like to try it for brunch next time.

Everyone knows how good Cipriani food is !!! Service is perfect, the ambiance is like home and all dishes are unique.

Incredible experience

By Judy H |

I have dined at Mr. C's many times, and the food is always outstanding. Last night the service was exceptional. Our server, Bianca, was attentive, thoughtful, and not just to us, but to everyone in the room. She was aware of what was needed at each table but not intrusive. It was truly a pleasure to be in an establishment with such a wonderful menu and such a professional staff. We will be back over and over again.

deliziosa

By Janjust16 |

Amazing! Service impeccable. Food incredible. We got a travelzoo deal & I feel like I just rob this place. Yum, well presented food - perfect temp, well seasoned, freshest ingredients.

Definitely worth going back!!!

By Nellie Christine |

Two words: People watching. That’s all you’ll want to do at Mr. C Hotel because everyone that walks in looks like a supermodel. And the food? Mamma Mia! We were first greeted with a taste of their delicious homemade Bellini. I ordered the Tagliardi with Veal Ragu, quite simple, but the simplicity of it is what makes it so special. All the flavors were so light and delicate so you could truly enjoy the craftsmanship in the pasta itself. I’ll definitely have to go back, if not for the food, then to grab a drink at the lobby bar with a live band on Fridays and Saturdays which I’m told pulls in quite the crowd

Italian Fare at its best

By CanadianThunders |

Sit outside and enjoy the food which can be prepared and changed any which way you want, served by a very friendly and eager to please staff that makes the whole experience most memorable.

You may as well be in Milan

By Doug W |

The dining room is beautifully designed, sophisticated, crisp and comfortable all at the same time. Here you can dress up in your most classic fashion and wear your jewels. This is authentic Italian food served by Italians at an Italian owned hotel and restaurant. The multiple wait staff will make you feel highly valued and special while still treating you like family. The Begiolla one of the best I’ve ever had as was the pasta with veal ragu. Just delicious. You might find the small servings deceiving until you realize the waiter is holding on to entire second and third servings! This is the perfect place to take a corporate business guest. We will be back.

Classic, Elegant and Yummy!

By soyjill |

LOVED IT! Every once in a while, you want to go to a restaurant where there is authentic wait service, beautiful flowers, and dining room traditions that have fallen by the wayside since the invention of the iPod. Mr. C, the restaurant I one of these. For the first visit, I started my evening with a world famous Bellini (proseco with white peaches), then ordered a signature cocktail of vodka, peach and orange (Mr C's). Appetizers: salad (arugula tossed with grape tomatoes In a light dressing), fish soup (brothy Russian style) and more cocktails. Dinner: Squid, Tuna Tartar and pasta Bolognese. My Bolognese was incredible! Al dente pasta with perfectly seasoned ground beef. The portion size was ridiculous and made a great lunch two days later. I enjoyed it so much that I came back a week later for appetizers in the bar. I sampled the Rice balls (yummy Arancini? I think they're called that). My friend devoured the prosciutto on a pretzel stick and ground chicken patties. The chicken patties tasted a bit liver-like to me but I still ate one. I LOVED the Tuna tartare on mini toasts the MOST. And again, the service is impeccable, staff professional charming and environment stunning. So many of my favorite places in Los Angeles are the hole-in-the-wall mom and pop spots. So it was super nice to spend $70+ a person and be treated like a guest while eating a lovely meal! Love the atmosphere and the service and the handsome men walking around in uniform gracefully carrying out Italian specialties! LOVED IT! And I will be back!

getting to be a regular visit

By donald r |

I have been coming here for three or four years running at this time and only now I discover that one of the faults (not to have a coffee machine in the room) is actually resolved if one asks.... I guess they don't have so many and for a flashy hotel also there were substandard slippers....Its become the ideal spot for italians in the film business who are also represented in the pictures through the hotel inlace of paintings.....its a bit pricey but am developing an affection for it

Wonderful Italian with a Pedigree!

By Tambra B |

This place doesn’t do a great job of promoting its impressive pedigree. It’s run by the same family that started the internationally famous Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy. The ambiance is well-appointed, and you immediately feel good inside. The staff is first-rate, and the food selection is wonderful. It definitely feels like it's flying under the radar, but it's a hidden gem that’s worth trying! I highly recommend giving it a visit!

Great drinks. Great Sandwich.

By ZKro4 |

The drinks and club sandwich were great! The ambiance was festive and fun. The server also surprised my mom with a birthday treat.

So good!!

By jlCleo |

I love this place, the food was brilliant. Our waiter Michael was very caring and nice. I recommend this place to everyone!!😀

great salad for lunch

By jack f |

The best....

Waiting staff were really helpful, great service, delicious food and good value. Loved it so much went back twice in 1 week.

Lovely food

By Bumpking |

The food was very good, a good variety to choose from. The Wine list was very good. The staff were excellent.

Wonderful Italian with a Pedigree!

By Richard G |

This place does not do a good job of promoting its pedigree. This is the family that started and operates the internationally famous Harry's Bar in Venice, Italy (and other places). The place is well appointed and one just feels good inside. The staff is first rate and the selection of food and available menu items are all wonderful. This place seems to be under the radar; it's a place to be tried!

Bad coffee

By Cross8868 |

Bad coffee for breakfast! The latte ordered was precious and boring. Really don't need to say anymore.

Exceptional - No Comparison

By Vitznau |

This Restaurant earns all Accolades: Food: Exceptional Atmosphere: Casual to Formal Italian, subdued, but exquisite Elegance. Décor: Classic Modern. Service: Impeccable. Genuine Italian Restaurant, owned and operated by Cipriani of Venice. The Waiters, Staff and Management are extremely attentive and know uncannily well, through Experience and Training, what each Customer expects. Compares favorably to any other Restaurant in the Area, Italian or French. Expensive, but not expensive when compared with what other Restaurants of similar Caliber offer. The Restaurant is situated inside a Hotel which is also run and operated by Cipriani of Venice.

Breakfast - good but pricy

By Simwen |

The service was good and the food and beverages were good, just a little pricy for what you get. We had an Omelet and my wife had french toast, plus beverages

Always excellent food and service. You're charged accordingly.

By chris s |

The food here is excellent. The staff is accommodating and welcoming. This is a very good choice for a chic Italian restaurant that never seems to be too crowded.

Good Italian Food, but Pricey!

By Ellen F |

Had dinner at Mr C & while the food was good I found it difficult to park as guests are leaving the same time you are arriving. Hope the parking attendants will get their act together before too long. The Italian food was delicious but it doesn't come cheap so keep this in mind when you dine, especially the drinks! So it might be a good idea to ask the price if its not listed on the wine menu. They get an attractive crowd after 10 0'clock so if you're looking for a celebrity sighting don't come too early!

Venice atmosphere in Beverly Hills

By ChiranujB |

It was such a nice surprise to have the feeling of the wonderful Cipriani in Venice right in this Italian restaurant. The roll is SO good and flaky. Waiter prepare delicious food by the table. Pasta cooked to perfection. This is my new favorite place in Beverly Hills!!

Order the entire menu

By PickyLuxe |

This place has outstanding Italia cuisine, each dish executed perfectly with wonderfully expert service. Beautiful setting.

Tables Crammed Much Too Close Together

By CinderellaDearest |

Small restaurant. Very pleasant hostess, captain (waiter) and busboy. Food was very good. Mr. Chou's noodles with ground chicken were delicious. That said, the prices were staggeringly high for small portions. In addition, if i want to pay that sort of price, i expect to the privacy factor ample space around the tables that allows for quiet conversation, such as is had at The Belvedere, or Wolfgang Puck's Cut. Linen tablecloths were nice. However, the china, flatware and glasses were nothing fancy. All in all, somewhat of a disappointment.

Needed a home base in Beverly Hills

By PhiladelphiaPhillip |

Love the location, the design, the vibe and the service. Some amenities have been curbed because of the pandemic but that is pretty common these days. And the room service was terrific, both the continental breakfast and the wonderful Italian food from Cipriani. And the balcony views from the higher rooms are spectacular.

Extraordinary Italian food it is ciprani

By nirajsomaiya |

The food and service is extraordinary. It is one of the best Italian meals I have had. Risotto was out of world. Soups especially bean was TOP class. I think this is one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles or maybe the whole of USA. WORTH A VISIT.

Room Service

By William H |

Excellent food. A bit pricey but after a long day to have food brought to your room was worth it. Quick service too.

Not the best

By Noor AK |

The hotel is in the heart of Beverly Hills and has a big pharmacy and restaurants across the street, which was very convenient. The check in was quick and staff were polite and nice. Rooms are amazingly decorated, yet the cleanliness is not at its best. During our stay, the housekeeping misplaced so many personal things, which was not appreciated. One incidence is losing my charger, but they instantly backed me up with another one, which i thought is a great approach. The hotel is quite expensive and there was no coffee machine or complimentary water in the room. So I had to pay for the hotel's Evian and the hotel's coffee every morning. However, we have to mention that the room service people are amazing and quick. Coming from the middle east, I needed an adapter, yet i had to pay a 50$ deposit for it. The concierge on the other hand is one of the best we've met. She arranged a plan and an itinerary to see all attractions in LA, as well as helped us find a rental car. In summary, its a good hotel to stay at, however, with too many competitors in this field, I believe they should upgrade their service in some places.

Totally lives up to the Cipriani reputation...

By Justin F |

Easily one of the most delicious and pleasant dining experiences I've had in some time. From the extremely attentive waitstaff to the simple, fresh appetizers and incredible main courses all the way through to the relaxed ambiance and amazing cocktails, the restaurant at Mr. C is top notch and an absolute pleasure to visit. It's rare that a restaurant manages to take very simple food and infuse it with something special without it teetering into full-on foodie territory, but Mr. C's menu is sure to appeal to those with simple tastes as well as those with more sophisticated palates. Definitely worth a visit!

Decent

By Man Winny W |

Service: Good Drinks: Decent Decor: Decent Food: Simple, but Extremely Flavorful Highlight(s): Scampi Crudo Overall: Worth a Visit!

A bite of Yummy

By sunni2014 |

I enjoyed the food, service and the staff at Mr. C's. The menu is varied and the selection vast. I must admit the best morning I had during my staff was when I got the child's menu by accident and it was fun of cartoon photos depicting the food available. simply adorable. I ordered pancakes from that menu - just because. Hilarious! I enjoyed dining here!

Stayed over the weekend

By Kpieranunzi |

In Los Angeles at Mr. C. Beverly Hills to see my nephew in a play. The hotel was wonderful. I loved my room with two (not one but two) balconies. The food was delicious and the staff in the restaurant and hotel were great. I'm definitely going to stay there again.

Good service, questionable guests.

By AshWolf |

I can only recommend Mr. C for their bellinis--they use the real white peach puree from Italy (the way they're meant to be served). The location is in a really weird residential/corporate limbo. The patrons are tacky and loud. The furnishings are nice and they keep the building/lobby very clean. Would I stay here again? No. Would I go for an afternoon bellini and a salad? Possibly.

Hugely popular, but overpriced

By CalgaryGoose |

This restaurant is a very busy local meeting spot. My husband and I found the menu limited and overpriced. The food quality was average.

Great Italian

By Windsor999 |

Was in LA for business, staying at the Marriott Beverly Hills. We walked from the hotel up the hill to Mr.C's We chose to be seated outside and had a nice dinner. I ordered the, "Homemade Potato Gnocchi alla Bolognese" -it did indeed taste homemade and the sauce was great. Both our meals were very good. The staff was attentive -but it was a Thursday night and probably a touch early (6pm?). By the time we were done the sun had gone down and we were invited to visit the pool area as the hotel was having "game night" -it looked decent but we decided to walk home.

Lobster risotto... yummy

By Andkayi |

Went to the restaurant for lunch.. Had the lobster risotto. The portions are big and commendable.. the service is wonderful and the place feels classy...

excellent dining experience

By Tim R |

We arrived early to enjoy wine in the bar, but could not get any service, even after asking 3 times, finally just left and went into dinner early, once we walked through the doors to the dinning room our world changed. The most amazing service and food, we felt as if we'd walk through the doors into Italy. From A-Z the next 2.5 hours was amazing and we'll return again, thanks to the team in the dinning room for saving our evening and making it so very perfect.

Exquisite Italian Dining

By mdbgoldfamily |

We had a phenomenal meal, two couples in this intimate hotel restaurant on the outskirts of Beverly Hills. It is a VERY expensive restaurant, but well worth the splurge. There are price fixe options and ala carte. The dinner rolls and cheese served were divine. I had the osso bucco which came with risotto, and was outstanding. For the main courses, one in our group had the truffles with spaghetti ($$$$$), another branzino, and another lobster risotto; each was spectacular. For the first course, we had eggplant parmesan, beef carpaccio, pumpkin soup and fresh salad.. Only the salad first course was poor, as it was flooded with dressing (order on the side). The other three were really magnificent. The service was incredibly attentive. There were less expensive options (pizza, burgers) if that is what is desired. However, the chosen meals were made with fresh ingredients and were served beautifully. Valet parking is 12.00 plus tip, unless you find street parking on Pico or Beverwill. We would absolutely return for a special occasion. Wonderful dining experience. But do look at the menu in advance, as dinner with drinks will easily be well over 100 pp depending on your drink and food choices.

Super Great!

By ItsEzry |

Amazing amazing food. Said twice because it was so nice! Great staff! Super friendly and welcoming. Well done and keep it up. Truly a gem.

Splurge Worthy

By Hillary M |

One usually thinks of hotel dining to be less than memorable. Not so at the Mr. C Hotel. But would you expect less from the man who started Harry's Bar in Venice Italy? This is a family knows Italian food! Every dish is exceptional both in taste and price. It is expensive! One of the most expensive Italian restaurants in Los Angeles, but also among the best. If you want to splurge on a meal you will love... this is the place.

Amazing hotel

By 286amyv |

The service has been great. Nice vibe. Pool was quiet. Location was very good. Used bike to go to Santa monica. Woke to birds chirping. Thank you

Brady Bunte - Mr. C Beverly Hills

By Brady Bunte |

Excellent food and menu. Service was terrific and really enjoyed the dining experience. Highly recommend !

A little off the boil

By FussyHotelGuy |

This was my second visit to Mr C, and I looked forward to returning. A well-designed hotel with much to recommend it: A terrific location: walking distance to everything, but situated in a quiet area. Lobby seating and layout well set up for informal meetings. Bright, spacious well-equipped rooms. Excellent food. Friendly service from most staff. House car on tap, expertly steered by amiable Angel. What could be better: Most front desk staff offered perfunctory service, in stark contrast to my previous visit a year earlier. Towels were rough, more suited to exfoliating than drying. Breakfast service in the restaurant didn’t match the food quality. For example, notice how the coffee was placed on my table. Even for a lefty (which I’m not), that would have been sloppy. The chairs were slippery and uncomfortable. Coffee was foul, worse than Starbucks. After this second visit, I might return, but I’ll more likely consider other options.

Great place

By Trevor M |

We found the food to be very good quality , the staff were good and well presented not over the top lay out of restaurant excellent

Amazing

By Thomas L |

Ok been here before it was great. But this time even better. The chief is from Italy and the food shows it. Absolutely amazing. Michael our server was spot on. An amazing time do not pass on this place.

Best in the Area

By Nora |

Excellent service and food. What else would you expect from Cipriani? Unique Italian offerings in a high quality, yet comfortable setting. Great bartenders.

outstanding Italia cuisine, but poor service

By Tim R |

The food was excellent as always, but this visit the service was the worst, I was told they have staffing issues, which really showed in the service, ran out of Patz/Hall wine. Waiters running thru the dinning room, just crazy. The Italian flare is gone. Think we'll move on to something new next time - spent why to much money for poor service.

wonderful for lunch

By Tez |

A wonderful restaurant - almost instantly my favourite in LA. In a hotel of the same name with an outdoor area if the day is fine for dining outside (when is it not in LA). Staff are attentive with the Italian waiters well trained (not so for the American waiters). Great Italian food with a relatively extensive wine list. A semi library look and feel about the room. Cant wait for next trip to LA - I will be at Mr. C again.

Excellent signature dishes and service, nice intimate dining environment

By Rebecca B |

The food and service at this restaurant was the best that I experienced in Beverly Hills. The signature salad is fantastic.

Cheeseburger and fries

By gotfondue |

I said this in my review of the hotel, because it really is the most amazing burger I've eaten. The restaurant staff knows how to make you feel at home! Also Mark at the bar knows how to make an AMAZING Sazrac

Food very good, but lousy service unacceptable for the standard they want

By gilardoni |

We had both dinner and breakfast: as we have been in Venice to both Harry's bar and "Harry's dolci" we knew what to expect. We had pilaf rice with curry chicken. Beside they misunderstood our order and only 3 out of 4 received the rice. The wait was much to long. The portion too small. Than a cake with lemon merengue. Again the wait was to long. Not to mention the wait for the fruit salad. The food per se was perfect. Also a complain about the behavior of the guests: much too loud. For breakfast we had 3 continental breakfasts: it took more than 30 minutes to get it. I also received my tea in a teapot without the lid. When I asked for it a waiter went to get it but upon his return stumbled, dropped juice and broke a few plates...and my lid never arrived. When I asked for the bill it took again at least 5 minutes. I signed, tipped and left. Half an hour later I did my check out and my bill not only was not processed but they had lost it and after other 5 minutes of searching it they had to re-do it. But once more sloppy service; I was entitled to a discount and I had to remember them to quantify it. Mister Arrigo Cipriani would be ashamed!!!

Classiest table in LA

By timothynoonan |

Mr C’s -aka Cipriani sets the standard for chic European excellence, period. From food, to atmosphere, from cocktail bar to table settings and above all to service, it just does not get any better. A very special place, especially needed in Beverly Hills, where nasty service, overpricing, and client contempt are the norm. If you are in the mood for an Oasis from all that, Mr Cs is just the ticket.

La Dolce Vita

By ArtchickTravels |

The food at Mr. C is excellent. The service is mostly excellent, though not at the pool consistently. This is a wonderful restaurant for those who want to take a quick trip to Italy during the 60s... We loved it.

Great atmosphere and service, stay for the entertainment

By BeachMax |

This is old school authentic Italian fare with update options. It's the kind of place you take a date, celebrate with friends or bring your parents to when they are in town. It's always easy to get a reservation because the location is sort of Beverly Hills adjacent and it's not cheap. Dinner can easily run you $75 - $100 per head with apps, entrees and wine. The atmosphere is relaxing; wood paneled room, never crowded and quiet. The best values on the menu are the pasta options in the mid-$20s - generous portions and very consistent. The soups are also excellent - I think made with vegetable bases. We tried the steaks as well - pricey - but solid. The deserts are very good. The service is excellent - very professional and attentive. Parking by Valet is $10 + Tip with validation => kind of expensive for Beverly Hills - but more convenient that parking on street. The real deal here is the music in the lobby bar after dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Blues, Jazz, Funk etc.). No reservation or cover charge. No crowds, chill and relax with friends - love it. Great design/ atmosphere - like the restaurant.

Cipriani is good standard Italian; could use an infusion of someone creative in the kitchen

By sarah c |

everything was good, attentive service. had the pizza (bland) and breaded shrimp and calamari for the table and they were good, but nothing special. i had the organic chicken which was good. side of roast potato was ordinary, and the mashed potatoes were lovely and creamy but needed seasoning. Nothing on the menu is new. all very standard dishes. we did try desert.

EXCELLENT!!!!

By Joanne L |

This hotel and restaurant is "classy". The food was delicious and the service was great. I would highly recommend it.

Pasta

By Kokhansen |

The pasta at Mr. C are fantastisk, service in top and the dessert are lovely. We Also tryed there lunch at the poolside.... Very Nice. Defenly comming back.

No a Cipriani quality.

By Patricia J |

I am a real fan of Cipriani’s Restaurants. However this one was a real disappointment. Food was good however it is not the same menu as others. And service was really really bad. I am not coming back to this location.

A must

By Thomas L |

If you haven't tried this place you're missing out. It's in the top five Italian places easily in LA. The chief from Venice and the foods amazing. The service is always spot on. This place just does it right every time.

Bad, bad and bad.

By AlbertoMay |

Although the waiter was very nice I thought I was going to get the same food experience as Ciprianis, but a disappointment. The food took forever to come and there where only 2 tables besides us. My food and my friends food where absolutely terrible and I had to send mine back. They really need to do something about this !

Like being in Italy

By HGPV |

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I've only been for dinner so I don't know what breakfast and lunch are like. But for dinner it's heaven. The staff is friendly and efficient. It looks exactly like a place in Italy. The waiters wear white jackets, the table have really gorgeous, very pale pink linen cloths. But the pasta is worth the visit. THE BEST pasta I have ever had outside of Italy. It's hard to find pasta this good even in Italy. And if they didn't have the pasta their Vanilla Meringue Cake would make it worth the visit. The most delicious cake I have ever had. I've had a few other things here that were very good but the pasta and the cake are the stars.

Harry Cipriani at it's Best

By Philip W |

I have been going to Cipriani's Restaurant for over 30 years in NY, Venice and London. The new Beverly Hills restaurant has the Harry classics done perfectly. Professional, friendly service at it's best. Every dish is done to perfection. Yes, it is expensive, but definitely worth it. A Bellini to start the meal is a must do.

How do you review a restaurant that cancels your reservation?

By CO_FF_from_FT |

I booked a dinner for 8 people, at 6:30pm on a weeknight, 1 week in advance. 2 days later, I got a call from the restaurant, informing me that they would not be able to honor my reservation, but would move me to either 8:00pm that night or another day. When I spoke to the person who called me, I was told that they were "shooting a clip" that would intrude on our dining experience, and they apologized for not having told me of this when we booked. My guess is that one of the following happened - and I don't know what's worse: that they didn't have their act together enough to tell customers about this, or that they KNOWINGLY would book some other activity even if it meant cancelling people.

Best Salad

By Travelin2Anywhere |

We dined by the pool for lunch and it was amazing. The salad was unique and delicious: Cucumber, String Beans, Cherry Tomatoes and Sweeet Corn Salad

Pass and go for another restaurant in Beverly Hills

By Jeff G |

I don't get the other reviews, the setting of the restaurant is uncomfortable with large tables and in no way can you get intimate with your date. There are booths, but a very limited amount. The pricing is ridiculous; $19 for tequila and grapefruit juice (wasn't even reposado or anejo). Waiter forgot our side dishes we ordered and the restaurant was slow...which maybe why the server was slow. Bus staff rushed and asked us if we were done even though we still had plenty of food on our plates. Plenty of dining options in Beverly Hills, try something else.

Lovely food

By Aarti M |

Really top quality, beautifully presented food for a fairly reasonably price in a lovely setting. The coffee in particular is a must if you visit for breakfast.

The best meal I've ever had

By Alicia A |

Hands down, the best meal I have ever had on vacation. Service was beyond excellent and the food was rich, flavorful, beautiful, savory and worth every cent we paid. A truly 5 star experience from the moment we parked with the Valet to the bus boys who helped. If you're looking for the whole experience, this is the place to go. Our 4-course meal took us nearly 2 hours to eat. Ahhh what a wonderful experience this was.

Good hotel, terrible valet service

By Javier006 |

This is an LHW hotel in Beverly Hills. Good location, cool decor, great food in a Cipriani restaurant (that I have visited in different locations around the globe) Why is it bad? Because they have a terrible valet service. Impolite, rude and cocky. During my stay there they were incapable of recognizing me as a customer, and everytime I arrived there they treated me as an stranger, not as a customer. When arriving with my family (sometimes with a lot of bags after shopping around) I was never offered any help. Having roadworks in the area, the entrance to the hotel was blocked: instead of helping, they started yelling at me and telling me to move away...The day we left, I asked them to have my car ready for an early departure. Not only the car was not there, but they were not able to find it. Nobody knew where it was or what kind of vehicle I was driving. I almost lost my flight. I have to say that I complained to the Hotel Management and I received an acceptable response from them . But I also asked for an explanation from the Valet Service: the answer (from this allegedly external service) was the standard text of "...we apologize, blablabla....". And remember that this service is not exactly free: they charge 41 USD per night, to receive this kind of attention.

Very good and fresh

By Pixelpanderer |

Stayed in the hotel for a convention. The staff was super. Ate in the restaurant twice and found the menu broad and the food well-presented and very good.

Just fantastic!

By Mike |

from the moment you arrive at Mr C you know you are going to be catered for very well. All the staff are very friendly and eager to help - a real bonus when you are used to the usual service you get in the UK Rooms are fantastic, beds massive and very comfortable and all rooms have a large balcony, ours looked out over towards the 'Hollywood' sign. Not a cheap place to stay but you don't mind paying that little bit more when you receive top class service - we would definitely recommend and will stay here again

Delicious food, hotel pricing

By midnite16 |

The service and staff are extraordinary, the food we had was delicious but over 25.00 for continental breakfast is really overpriced, and adding an automatic gratuity is not appreciated. We stayed at the hotel so is might be possible that restaurant discounts are available, but you need to ask

Genuine Italian with great service

By Charles S |

The test of an authentic Italian restaurant is if they pit a slice of orange, rather than lemon or lime, in a Campari and soda. Here they do. A genuinely Italian choice of pizza, pasta, pesce and carne, with the usual antipasti. Good selection of Italian wines as well domestic. Not cheap, but a good experience.

Good Wholesome Food

By Ian K |

I was staying in the hotel and chose to eat here rather than go out. I was not disappointed and my steak was tasty, nicely presented and good value. Highly recommended even if you are not a hotel guest.

The Best

By alisalsmith |

Excellent ambiance. Wilmur and Angel are excellent. Food and service was stellar. Loved the beautiful display of food on plate. Everything done with class.

Unsuccessful dinner

By Анастасия К |

I ordered tartar and veal chop, forgot the tartar when I asked about tartar I was offered to bring it after veal chop. Service as in a cheap restaurant

Worst Service - Never Again

By Rachel K |

I can't speak for the food - because we couldn't stand to stay at the place long enough to try it - but the service was some of the worst I've ever encountered. My friend and I wanted to take advantage of LA Restaurant Week before it ended (this was the last day and we had yet to attend). Having both lived in NYC and always heard of Cipriani we wanted to try the West Coast's Mr. C, which is related. As soon as we walked in, the vibe of the restaurant was very palpable: Pretentious with a capital "P." We didn't hold this against the place, just an observation. However, things did start to get a bit uncomfortable when, after standing around for a good five minutes, we had still not been greeted or acknowledged. There was plenty of restaurant staff standing around but they chose to focus all their attention on sucking up to the WASPy family in front of us -- and then, the couple who arrived a few minutes after us. Once we were finally acknowledged and informed them of our reservation, I asked the maitre d if he would be so kind to plug in my cell phone (I had the charger to provide) while I dined, as my phone was almost completely dead. Working in the hospitality industry this is not an uncommon request, and we are always more than happy to accommodate our guests. The maitre d seemed eager to help, took my phone and cord and said he'd go plug it in right away. He finally showed us to our table, though when I say "showed us," I mean throwing his hand up and pointing across the room to a table we should sit at. Meanwhile the young hostess who should have shown us to our seats was walking around in a too-tight, too-short skirt that didn't really suit the stuffy - yet upscale - country club vibe of the place. Furthermore, instead of actually doing her job, she was walking around texting on her cell phone - which was very visible due to its bright pink case. Again, being a hospitality professional, unless on call for something, I would not walk around the property in front of guests blatantly on my cell phone - something about it just looks unprofessional in these type of settings. We were brought a basket of bread, which we were excited for since saving up our appetites all day for this meal had made us hungry. However, just before we could begin indulging in the bread, the server came right back and informed us that the bread was meant for someone else - and, get ready for this, he took away our bread! We told them we would like some bread and he said they would bring some that was FOR US but they never did. Alas, they never came back to our table again. We sat for ten minutes with restaurant staff walking around us and catering to others but never having any respect thrown our way. Eventually we decided that, despite never even getting to taste any food, we were already given a bad taste in our mouths. We decided to gracefully exit (after all, we hadn't even drank a drop of their water, since we were still waiting). Upon leaving, I approached the maitre d to kindly ask for my phone and charger back -- only to discover that my phone/charger had never even been plugged in. Needless to say, this was just the icing on the cake. and we were happy we made the call we did. Otherwise, chances are, we'd still be sitting there...

Amazing!

Mr.C hotel restaurant, being a Cipriani one, is a guarantee of high class atmosphere, excellent food, and excellent service (a special mention to Paolo Scocco who made me feeling at home from my first step into the place). Food selection is wide, wine selection is amazing. I am Italian, therefore believe that this restaurant cuisine is really fantastic (try Cipriani way pizza, simply amazing). Dinner prices are about 120$ per person, wine excluded. Booking is necessary. Highly recommended.

Beautiful venue; food just ok

Mr. C's was just remodeled. The building and decor is absolutely stunning with a great, hip vibe. The restaurant itself has great service, but the food is just average. Definitely pricy for what you get.

Nice hotel

By Olivier S |

Very nice hotel, rooms are nice and decoration is very cozy. The deceptive point is the service (the same peanut remained in front of the lift at our floor during three days, don't' know when they clean the floors ...) . At this kind of price you deserve better .

dissappointing brief stay

Booked room for 2 adults and 2 children on hotwire and landed at Mr.C's in Beverly Hills. This was for Christmas Day/night. We arrived, unloaded our bags, valet parked the can and went inside, No Bellini's and no room with 2 beds - only one with a queen. Room was beautiful but couldn't accommodate us. Hotwire moved us to Ritz and after assuring us we had room with two beds and we had the same problem there. Just bitter about the whole thing. Mr. C and hotwire off the hook and we got the shaft.

Overpriced Breakfast

By Globaljoan |

I had an expensive breakfast here yesterday (which always irks me when paying $40+ for eggs, bacon and fruit). Food was average at best. Service was just OK. I would not eat here again. It was not bad. It just was not worth the money they charged.

A five Star hotel but not five Star service

By HelleDan |

Stayed there for six days. A very cosy hotel with modern and nice interior. Very big and light rooms with a fantastic wiev over the City. You pay for the location. If you book a room, then book with overlooking Beverly hills. At the other side of the hotel you will have the traffic just in front of your nose. Not a pool for grown up people, it's very small. The service at the hotel isn't what you will expect of af five star hotel. We didn't got our room cleant up every day. When we asked for housekeeping in the afternoon because we didn't get it in the morning, they came after two hours. One of the nigt there was a fire alarm. It went on at two am in the morning. It was a failure, but we didn't get any Explenation, and they didn't stopped the alarm. We asked Them to stop it. We have booked a room for four month ago at fived floor, but we got a room at second floor. We asked for a room higher up, but they didn't want to help us. Be careful about your monny, everything is very expensive. When booking the hotel, asked about if there is a party going on at the time you are at the hotel. If there is a party everything goes for the party and nothing to all the other gests. We are often in LA and next time we will go for another hotel.

Great service and food

Intimate, small with large bar. Attractive decor, like a library. Staff was efficient and attentive. Food superb.

So Good I Ate Here Twice In One Day

By emily c |

A close friend of mine moved into an apartment building temporarily while waiting to close the purchase of her new home so we went out exploring for lunch one day. We found Mr. C, which had actually been recommended to us by a friend of hers. It sits on the bottom floor of a hotel and is quiet and cozy. The staff was well dressed and the seating was old-school. We ordered wine (duh) and had risotto, pizza, pasta (we always eat a crap-load when we're together), and a salad with buffalo mozzarella. I have never had risotto quite like what we had for lunch at Mr. C. It was cooked perfectly, which I understand is a difficult task. I still dream of that flavor and my mouth waters every time I think of it. Later that night, after her kids and husband got home, we were deciding where to go to dinner and realized we wanted more Mr. C so we took the whole family! Although we weren't bothered by our return, it was nice that no one there made us feel like fatties, haha! I will definitely go back and recommend that you try it at least once.

Great food great service

Service and food was excellent just the cost of breakfast was bit high but suppose at a top hotel you would expect to pay a premium.

Review of Yacht Club...pool restaurant

By SweetLime310 |

My review if for Mr. C Yacht Club. It is the pool area and the restaurant. I have been communicating with Mr. Alvin Manzano about renting cabana's for a birthday celebration. I must say Mr. C's, Alvin and the rest of the staff have been amazing in helping me with the cabana rentals and planning. I originally booked my party at a different hotel pool but decided to give Mr. C's a call after seeing gorgeous pictures of their pool. From the beginning the staff was amazing helpful. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Pool area and cabana's are beautifully set up and the rental price is more than reasonable. They have an extensive food and beverage menu and the cabana rental package I chose even includes a pitcher of bellin and a fruit, meat and cheese tray. Mr. C's is not only a beautiful venue but Alvin and the staff are remarkable I've stayed at plenty of hotels and this is 5 star service for sure.

Delicious breakfast- typical Cipriani deliciousness

Cipriani does it again. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Had a waffle for breakfast with fresh fruit- amazing. If you're staying at the hotel- the room service also comes from this restaurant.

Pool view: Great food

We enjoyed eating here twice when we stayed at the hotel. I had a pasta dish with cheese that was over-the-top yummy. We also enjoyed a salad with tons of fresh veggies.

It's quick!

By Passionflower200050 |

After the relaxed atmosphere of the Galapagos we were a little shell shocked but the quick quick nature of this restaurant. Our food was delivered with speed and whilst delicious there didn't seem to be much care taken in the plating or delivery. The bread provided was absolutely to die for - cannot fault the taste of the food but it wasn't a relaxing night on this occasion.

Just Order Ubereats

By Najeebah |

The value for the food is not great. Unless you're a starving guest on the property (who just woke up late), it's not really worth the wait for this decent food quality. It's awkward tipping when you pretty much have to track down staff to remind them that you placed an order.

Exquisite Fine Dining

The restaurant at Mr. C is so inviting. The service is first class and the food is delicious. It is a dining experience to enjoy and remember.
