The Rose Of San Antonio Reviews

This is a quintessential bar in San Antonio- great drinks, service was excellent and welcoming, the food was tasty and good options for late night snacks and they had live music. The Rose is in a great location near the River Walk, the Alamo and many hotels. The vibe meets the demand of the day. They stayed open the Monday night of the NCAA Championship game to accommodate the throngs of people, some celebrating and others commiserating the sorrows of the three teams that did not win the Natty. Every employee went out of their way to be welcoming and friendly. We ended up here every night of our Final Four visit to San Antonio. Wonderful experience!

We went quite late as the kitchen was closing and I suspect the place is crowded at other times. As it was we about closed the place. Barkeeper "C.J." was friendly and as nice as could be. Well-stocked bar and food of the bar sort. All and I we were glad our nearby hotel, the excellent St. Anthony, recommended the place.

We had a great evening at The Rose! Drinks, food and service were perfect. Would definitely go back for the martini and the caprese sandwiches!

This is a beautiful bar that excels at customer service and drinks. The Vibes are smooth and cool. The decor is stunning and the live music sets the tone for a memorable night out in the town. The drinks are very strong and yummy! Our Waitress was Jenny and she was very nice, friendly and attentive! The bar is located on a busy part of the downtown but once you are inside, the ambiance is happy and relaxing at the same time. I will return to this bar next time I'm in San Antonio. HIGHLY recommended.
