Very good casual restaurant. Excellent brunch choice

By ams44 |

Excellent brunch. Very tasty food with very good service. Large menu choice. Nice outdoor seating. Reasonable prices

I would sell my firstborn for their nachos. The happy hour specials also can't be beat.

I would sell my firstborn for their nachos. The happy hour specials also can't be beat.

Nice place for a quick drink and bite

By Dmitri V |

The burgers were absolutely great, Nice, diverse beer selection. Most pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Very good spot

By @diningonadime1 |

I saw these guys on Diners, Drive ins and Dives on the Food Network and have been trying to get here ever since and they did not disappointed the Sidecar breakfast was amazing and especially the cheese grits which rank as one of the best in this city....I will do something that I don't normally do and that is return

Neighborhood Place

By Rehobothfan |

Great neighborhood place with a lively and fun atmosphere. Food is good and staff is friendly. Excellent addition to the neighborhood.

Nice restaurant!

By divaheart06 |

The Sidecar Bar and Grill is a cute little neighborhood restaurant. The food was delicious, and our waiter was extremely attentive. However, it was extremely noisy, and the really close quarters (and small tables) makes it a bit difficult to have many plates on the table simultaneously. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Sidecar for its great food and cheap prices! Enjoy!

Nothing fancy but great food

By CaliforniaTravelin |

Three of us ate here, one vegetarian. All were very happy with the food, and the selection of beers was excellent. Casual, a little loud, but we will return.

Awesome little spot.

By sn0wsn0wsn0w |

Each thing we ate was more delicious than the last. The nachos were especially awesome and the pricing was more than reasonable for the quality. Cheap even. A favorite in Philly for me.

Great place!!

By EricMB |

We loved this place! The service was excellent, they worked with us to get everyone (party of 9) seated outside. Very friendly and accommodating. The food...man, it rocked!! I tried the Ruben, it was crafted with love. The corned beef was very fresh and was grilled to perfection! Others tried the brunch items, all loved their meals! We will be back...Oh, they have great Beer selection as well. Try Sidecar Bar and Grill, you will not be disappointed.

Would return

By Nvhawk |

Pros: high quality, unique food and pricing is reasonable. Good, interesting beer selection. Great service and comfortable atmosphere. Cons: Small food menu (not enough selection) I had the Chilean sea bass with mashed potatoes entre. It would cooked perfectly, not at all fishy, and was perfectly seasoned and paired nicely with the dill slaw it came with. The ricotta toast was a bit disappointing and I wouldn’t order that again. The beer I had, which the server recommended, is now one of my favorites. I wish I could remember the name! I think it may have been Platform LED Lager.

Excellent Food!

By ibjessd |

We had the nachos with chorizo and they were easily the best nachos I have ever had. So much care had been put into them- toppings were baked all the way through. I also had the margarita flatbread, which was very tasty. My boyfriend had the Ruben burger, which he really enjoyed. We had the French Toast Bread Pudding, which was a great way to end the meal. Our server was great as well. We would definitely return.

Great local bar with exceptional food

By Thorson H |

I went here based in a local referral . Glad I did. There is limited parking as this place is is a residential neighborhood. So after you figure that out you are good to go. Friendly staff met me at the door. I elected to sit at the bar . Bar keep was a stud. Great conversation till my gnocchi clam chowder arrived. It was delicious. If you are a gnocchi fan this is right up your alley. If you enjoy a beverage from the tap your choices are vast. I will return when in town .

Lovely spot for brunch and evening beers

By Brendan K |

It’s changed hands a few tikes but it is still a very friendly place and the food os very good, but the beers are even higher quality.

Worth a trip to Graduate Hospital

By Clark Grisso |

I ate here regularly when I lived in the neighborhood and it is the only bar I consider when I go back. Great selection of craft beers, cheap menu of unexpectedly great food, and attentive service. The burger with breaded fried poached egg rocks. The bar was uncomfortably crowded before the upstairs expansion but now you can easily get a seat for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed.

Great drinks , food , bartenders and servers !

By Debbie5775 |

We visited on January 31,2015 food was great .. drinks wonderful and the staff make you feel like you are a regular...especially bartender Cameron and server Nick !!!

Good food

By EEHRN |

Weekends apparently are swamped. Had a decent wait on a Sunday late morning early afternoon (30 minutes). Food was good, for breakfast $15 for tea and a burrito and tip. Wasn't a fan of salad as a side for a breakfast burrito. Would probably go again.

Wish we had a better experience - like all the fabulous reviews - but it was average

By Brown_Samantha |

We searched for some Triple D spots when visiting Philadelphia, this place came up and sounded very fun,. We arrived on a Monday night, when the outdoor seating were mostly filled, but inside was pretty empty. We were told to select a "two top" table, tiny tiny space. While all the 4-top tables remained empty the entire time we were there. The young lady that greeted us was super friendly, but our waiter was kind of luke warm, like he didn't really want to be there. we ordered the taco wings and chicken phad Thai flat bread off of the special menu. The taco wings were pretty tasty, with tortilla crusted chicken wings served with cilantro and bean dip sauce. The chicken phad Thai flat bread was super strange: chicken breast had no flavor, just shredded chicken breast meat. The red curry sauce didn't taste like particularly anything. Flat bread was topped with lots of cilantro and green onions, that made it taste better. Overall, it was one of the worse Thai chicken flat bread we've ever had. Got a beer to go with dinner, Total bill including tax and tip: $41 Probably should have ordered a burger or pulled pork sandwich.

Good Neighborhood Bar

By terrence c |

Good neighborhood bar with a decent variety of food and an impressive beer selection. The upstairs offers a nice area to host larger parties. Service is good. Limited parking.

Love the Happy Hour!

By Janice25 |

This place is great! The food choices are varied and delicious, and the Happy Hour prices are fantastic. Great drinks, food, and music! "Jungle Boogie" was playing this time when we walked in. This was our second time, and I wish Cleveland, Oh, had a Side Car so we could go more often!

Unique Burgers and Excellent Sides

By StinkieSteve |

When Traveling, we always try to hit a joint or two featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I guess this place falls into the Dive category, a very upscale multi-level dive with great food and evening better local brews on tap. Always a plus! My son and I each went with a burger. He had the Super Mario and I had The Breakfast. We sort of traded tastes. Both burgers were amazing and fresher than fresh. Perhaps the best part, were the unique condiment toppings. They really set the burgers apart! we stuck with fries on the side, and they were perfectly cooked and tied the burger and beverages together well. Great food, great drink, great atmosphere! Perfect dinner stop!

Good Food in a Bar Atmosphere

By Peter D |

I was in the Philadelphia area and decided to stop since this restaurant was on Triple D. It isn't a diner or drive-thru but may qualify as a dive because it is in the middle of a neighborhood without much surrounding retail. I had to find a spot on the street (lucky to find one close by) and was welcomed by a bongo player in a neighborhood park. The food was good (I enjoyed the clam chowder and my son liked his hamburger and fries) and I had a local brew. Both food and drinks were served by a bartender who informative but not enthusiastic about food service. About $50 with the tip. I don't think I would seek this place out again (unless I was right in the neighborhood) but enjoyed the experience.

Great burgers and salad!

By Jason S |

I know crazy mixture to do well at both. But the burgers are delicious! Salad was huge! Goat cheese fritters best we've ever had. Service was pleasant polite and quick. Prices right on target. Great place yummy dinner!

Food and beer bar

By David P |

Local spot in grad hospital. Can be very busy on the weekends for brunch. Late night menu seems to offer the best bang for the buck. They’ve had some management issues in the past but I hope that is all behind them. Staff can be hot or cold depending on the day of the week. Glad that the place is in the area as there isn’t much to eat in this part of Grad hospital. Be prepared for stroller and baby crowds. Only one TV on the ground floor. ATM on site. Beer selection is rotating. Prices are 2-4$ higher than they should be. 10$ for veggie nachos with cheese and beans is a disgrace.

Superb comfort food and friendly environment

By sidder |

Happened to be in the Graduate Hospital area and followed a friend's recommendation to eat here. Such a treat. Well-rounded beer selection, delightful non-overwhelming menu, friendly service, and a relaxing post dinner walk in the neighborhood are reasons we'll be back. Still thinking about the argula/pine nut/asparagus salad and the wings.

Eh.

By hollyjsnugs |

I'm pretty flexible when it comes to neighborhood bars. I love a good dive. This place though, was just "Eh". Food and drinks are pretty expensive. Our bartender pretty much put us on the pay no mind list. We had 2 drinks and noped out of there. Aside from the service, I can't really think of anything special about it to make me want to return to give it another try.

A neighborhood gem. Happy hour T-Th consists of half-priced appetizers and $1 Pabst drafts, but don't worry, Pabsts...

By ColleenTDwyer |

A neighborhood gem. Happy hour T-Th consists of half-priced appetizers and $1 Pabst drafts, but don't worry, Pabsts are only $2 otherwise. Food is always excellent, especially Sunday brunch. The place has really cool reddish lighting and cafe tables outside in the summer. And one of the neatest things about it... They have an old school turntable to spin records!

Great new twists on old classics!

By egangirl |

It was a refreshing take on classic foods that everyone loves. The flavours are really taken into account. Would highly recommend!

Fun hidden restaurant

By StaceNDan |

This is a fun little restaurant that you would almost pass by if you weren't looking for it. Great off beat menu options that always change, a great beer selection, and super friendly staff. This is our go-to place in Philly.

BEWARE OF THIEF WAITRESS DANA

By Justin H |

WAITRESS DANA W TRIED TO PAD HER TIP AN EXTRA 10 DOLLARS. Be careful of thieves here. We dined upstairs on March 12. The total came to $94.16. I write the total on my copy of the check and keep it—that’s how I catch these thieves. My bank statement came and Sidecar tried to charge a total of $104.16, meaning the waitress Dana W tried to steal $10 from my card and pad her existing tip. Her attempt at $10 is so obvious. Not very smart. If the tip ended in a 6 and she charged an 8, I might understand. But $10 is an obvious attempt at stealing from me. I hope Sidecar management imposes consequences on their thief waitress. I talked to my bank for 5 minutes and they quickly reimbursed me the $10. Now Sidecar will experience my bad reviews on multiple websites, and I’ve told my large group of family and friends in Philly to spend their money elsewhere. Your feeble attempt at a quick $10 theft was not worth it, as you should lose your job, and you cost your employer thousands of dollars in lost business in the future. I informed the “manager.”

Excellent

By Dave S |

Great neighborhood tavern. I ordered the Cheesesteak and it was excellent. Perhaps one of the best hot sandwiches I've ever had. Excellent bartenders that know how to pour a beer and mix a good cocktail. If this place was in my neighborhood I'd probably just move in and live there.

Great food, Neighborhood Gem

By GoodToGo541 |

Four of us went in on two neighbors advice. The place was crowded, loud, dimly lit (bring a flashlight if you want to read a menu), in shor,t great atmosphere. We ordered the Happy Hour Carnitas Tacos and Nachos, and then went on to order full dinners. Way too much food! The Carnitas Tacos were served on soft tortillas and were stuffed with juicy, flavorful meat. The Nachos were good. Two of our party ordered Bleu Cheese Burgers that were cooked perfectly, another ordered a traditional Rueben (it was perfect), and I had the Oven Roasted Chicken on Truffled Mashed Potatoes with Grilled Asparagus, to die for. My new favorite food may interfere with trying out their other wonderful dishes. The seating is limited, so getting there early and perhaps on a weeknight would aid getting a table but sitting at the bar has its merits too. This is not a quick dining experience, expect to sit down and enjoy yourself leisurely.

Great neighborhood spot with great food and drinks

By Kreskin2207 |

Finally got a chance to check this place out. I don't get over to this hood often (ever?) so I'm glad things turned out great with our selection. I've been by Sidecar once before on a Saturday, and they were rammed for brunch. Luckily we arrived in that afternoon lull just before dinner. There were no four-top tables outside but we found a spot inside. A note of caution, three people asked us before we made it 20 feet to our table if our entire party had arrived. Luckily numbers 3 and 4 were parking and they let us sit down. The beer list, while small, was full of excellent choices. I'm always happy to see anything from Terrapin on tap which made for a pleasing Saturday afternoon sip. The service was top notch too the entire time we were there and others go involved, not simply our waiter, which to me spells a good restaurant. The food was great. Period. My wife & I split a few different things but really enjoyed the avocado soup with crab salad (daily special) and the fried macaroni & cheese with tomato compote. Both were standouts and I honestly think I could have eaten four bowls of the avocado soup. It was the perfect creamy consistency you would want, chilled, with just the perfect acidity level. The macaroni & cheese balls were served with a side of basically perfectly stewed tomatoes with a side salad. This could easily be a meal and was reasonably priced at around $8. The wings were also pretty good (honey chipotle); I loved the sauce but the wings were breaded a little more than I like. All in all a super spot with good tunes, friendly service, good beer list, and a great menu. There's room outside for about 15 people and another 30 or so inside. There's a few seats at the bar if you need to grab a quick drink or bite as well. Definitely look forward to hitting this spot again and sampling other area joints.

More Nachos Please

By 159madison |

This was my second visit to this Grad city neighborhood "joint" . Sat outside with my "young friends" and just am more impressed each visit. great happy hour items, friendly helpful staff and great food.So glad it is neighborhood for my friends ,it means i get to go more often.

They don't honor reservations

By Nate G |

We made an 8:45 reservation and showed up within minutes to be seated. Only to be told they couldn't seat us, in a rude, dismissive, inconsiderate tone with eye rolls. I didn't see the hostess even look at the computer to check our reservation. She then had the gall to try and tell us that we "missed our reservation" and they gave away our table, clearly not knowing what our reservation time even was. The food isn't even great and it's not worth the hassle with the staff.

Great brunch, can't wait to try dinner

By G33916 |

We saw this on DDD on the Food Network a few years ago. The food was great and the staff made you feel special. We will go back again.

Neighborhood corner bar/restaurant and delicious!

By pattisopinion |

I always MUST have the burger with Caramelized onions! This time, without the bun and with a salad instead of fries. So delicious. Cooked to perfection, delicious flavors and so so juicy! Just a great place!

Food, Drinks, Fun - All In The Neighborhood!

By Amy C |

I was at the Sidecar for the taping of a TV show - seems an odd thing to happen in a bar but it was a lot of fun. I have to say that the Sidecar is very loud - maybe too loud to allow conversation with your friends. But the drinks and the food are delicious - especially the clam gnocchi - wow what a delicious dish. Sidecar has upstairs, downstairs, and outside seating allowing you to find the best place for your meal.

Great Happy Hour

By ILiveOutofaSuitcase |

They had quite a few great beers for half off happy hour. I don't think that they had any food specials, but their food prices were reasonable and the food was good.

Once upon a time I loved this place

By Mike H |

Great food, great beer, used to have amazing happy hour specials. Now the prices of everything went up. Would be understandable with cost of living increasing year after year but they also have been shrinking portion sizes.

Awesome! Amazing!

By Tracy P |

Love this place! Off the beaten path and well worth it! Had the nachos with the pulled pork and the kinky burger. So delicious! Great beer! If you're in Philadelphia, you have to try this place.

Good burgers & fries

By mitymol |

We all had versions of burgers & fries, with and without buns. Black bean burger, burger w/swiss cheese and burger w/bacon were all delicious. Good neighborhood bar and grill.

Okay food and atmosphere

By KimCarlKids |

Food was okay, French fries were great, salad was good but in general just okay. The location is in a bit of a shady area. Service was good and friends enjoyed a good selection of beer.

Cool bar, but lacks quality

By MCD3127 |

I like the look of Sidecar, but it lacked quality in both food and service. I also didn't really gel with the draft menu. The thing that stuck with me is that it is not a good place for a group bigger than 6 - they kind of freak out when that is the case and make it seem as if it's your fault that you came in. I'll come back eventually, but maybe with just my girlfriend and I.

Love it!

By nerak1948 |

Love going to the Sidecar for brunch or any old time! the food is great! New slant on old favorites! a great beer list and fun drinks. The atmosphere is energizing and fun!

Give it a try!

By padreaming |

Good food in a not so fancy bar/restaurant. We heard about it through DDD (Diners Drive-Ins and Dives). We really enjoyed the benedict with bbq pork on a corn jalapeno cake. Geocaching in the are too!

Cool neighborhood bar and food!

By Ljmscope |

We stopped to have lunch because we saw this on Diners, Drive ins and Dives and it lives up to its reputation. The staff was super friendly, the place has a rustic vibe and the menu is limited but different. The burgers were delicious. Prices are reasonable. Definitely will be back.

Worth Trying

By Joanne E |

Unusual selection for a pub, and food was great. We had a larger party and they were will to accommodate a table for us in advance. We ordered several appetizers and most of our dinners consisted of the burger selection. The burgers were all cooked to exactly everybody's requests. There is a large selection of toppings for the burgers. The pork nachos were excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. Never rushed us. Food was served quickly. Large beer selection. Nothing negative to say about this establishment at all. We had a great time there and plan on going back.

Excellent Burgers, atmosphere, and service

By Francesco G |

We came here late one night after a flight from the UK, and we had the mother of all burgers, served by professional and courteous service. Prices are very decent, and I'd have been happy to may more for the colossal and delicious burger I had! Awesome atmosphere, massive selection of burgers, and decent prices too!

A HIDDEN South Philly Gem!

By Uslowublow |

The brunch selections were absolutely amazing! Everything that we ordered we shared! The Apple Cobbler French 2die4!

Late Night was Just Right

By Jamie O |

Went to the Sidecar for the first time in over a year. Only because my girl doesn't live 2 blocks away like she used to, when she did we stopped in weekly. This what I wanted, a burger, and my girl wanted their pretzel crusted chicken fingers. That's what we got, and it was still spot on. This is a little gastro pub on the corner of 21st and Christian. It was in fact on Diners, drive ins and dives, and deservedly so. Consistent, is how I'd describe the food, your not going to be disappointed, and that's whether you get a late night burger, happy hour nachos or Sunday brunch. Beer selection is above average and they are great about letting you know what they have what they had and what's coming up next. Late night grub at happy hour prices works for me. The service was good not great. Nothing our server did was overtly wrong or rude in any way. She just seemed like she didn't wanna be there, and so when she left before we got our food and didn't even bother to give us a heads up that we would have a different server, I figured I was right, and she was ready to be done for the night. Highly recommended, never disappointed. You need to stop here at least one time!!

Early breakfast specials on the weekend are the best

By Scott_A_Drake |

Living two blocks from this place makes it an easy 'go-to' any day of the week and we've probably been there every every day over the years. The food portions are generous and priced very well for the most part. Think before you order! Almost all of the entrees are so big that they are difficult to finish, even tougher after one the excellent appetizers. In fact a dinner of apps and a tall, cold glass of drought beer — pick your favorite, there are about 20 varieties, many local craft beers — or a glass of wine. Cocktails outside of the weekend brunch specials are a bit pricey for what you get, but I guess that keeps the rest of the assortment more reasonably priced. Some cautions: The place can get EXTREMELY loud, the tables are packed into the room with a crowbar, and people bring their kids in to eat so it's often got loud, misbehaving ankle biters annoying your meal.

Tasty, Rustic Bar

By Brian Thomas |

Not sure how we found it, You eat alongside the bar in a dark, but friendly room. I ordered the caraway-encrusted salmon and it was nicely prepared. The arugula salad was a bowl of arugula and not much else . . . hmm. Service was great with all hands helping out. Tremendous beer selection. Of course I always drink scotch.

Update one year later - still great food

By CaliforniaTravelin |

Friends from out of town picked this place and we were happy to meet there because of good experiences last time. We had burgers, salads, soups, the fried oysters with brussel sprouts, and the fabulous side of swiss chard. I'd say this is not your regular bar food - service was good, beers were good, noise was not too bad, and the cooks should get credit for the stuff they send out.

Great family dinner spot with options for everyone!

By violetphilly |

This was our first time at The Side Car and we were really pleased. It can be tough for me to find classic bar food that still works with being gluten free and mostly plant based, so I was thrilled to see both an appetizer and an entrée that fit my needs. The brussel sprout appetizer was fabulous, though be warned, it’s spicy. I love heat, so it was perfect for me. My entrée, the new vegan enchiladas, was also great. They were flavorful without being overly heavy, which made the whole meal feel satisfying but not too filling. The rest of my family raved about the Detroit style pizza and the wings. We will definitely be back. The service was spot on, the food was enjoyable, and while the atmosphere was loud, it was still manageable for a fun family night out. Best of all, the prices felt reasonable, especially compared to many places that feel a bit overpriced for a family dinner. Highly recommend!

Nice local, corner restaurant situated in the Graduate Hospital area of Philadelphia.

By Frank Masters |

We have been here for breakfast and Brunch on two occasions. The restaurant is a local establishment with seating on the first and second floor. Its not a get dressed up to go to restaurant. Go as you, you'll be very comfortable, just wear shoes and a shirt. Kid friendly too. They have good local food and the staff has always been friendly. I think breakfast/brunch is their specialty, but they are open all day and into the evening. Side walk seating is available. Its quaint and a one of a kind in the neighborhood.

Fun place to eat and hang out

By mirandamar |

The waitress we had went out of her way to please us. The atmosphere was great. There were some type of gas lights in the ceiling lighting fixture that a staff member actually had to climb a small ladder to light. It was a very attractive fixture. There were many choices on the menu and the food was great. There were also several brands of draft beer. There was nothing we didn't like

Great beer great food

By lisa8924 |

I came here twice on monday night with my boyfriend late at night. The pork nachos were out of this world and half price for a late night happy hour. IPA drafts were a dollar off and good selection to choose from. Will definitely be back with some friends asap for both the beer and nachos(seriously the pineapple salsa with the pork so good). The bar is great, only downfall is trying to park in the area which isn't the bars fault..

Stop off in Old Philly.

By jmarie2736 |

We stopped here before heading back to Boston, nice place with multiple floors and excellent staff. We were the only couple besides one other upstairs, good happy hour deals. We decided to try the chorizo nacho's with pineapple and tomatillo salsa...it was different that your typical Mexican nacho's and salsa but definately had a kick to it with the chorizo and plethora of jalapenos. Only wish they had more outdoor seating.

Great for people with big appetites...

By linda h |

I ordered a reuben and believe me...it could have fed two people... my children ordered poached eggs...their plates were emptied... that's how good the food was. The breakfast burrito's...again enough for two people...

Nice Neighborhood Place

By Richard K |

Philly has lots of small neighborhood places - if they are not good they don't last. This south of South place is okay - food okay - beer selection very good as is the service. A typical, reasonably friendly neighbor place. Kind of noisy for my money - music way to loud but, hey I'm an old guy. Prices reasonable.

Loud but good food

By NJReveler |

Both the drink and meal were good. Upstairs can get very rowdy with big groups. We sat next to the upstairs door that goes outside. When I went to grab my coat hanging up, an employee was entering and open the door and it hit me hard on my left side. I would recommend the employees try to be a bit more careful. Love that brunch is offered mid-day on Saturdays. Food was yummy.

Worth the trip!

By auntshelly19 |

We went to a car show in the area and decided to give The Sidecar Bar & Grill a try. Certainly glad we did! We had brunch and sat at the bar. Crab Cakes Benedict was delicious! At first I wasn't going to order it since I'm not a big fan of poached eggs but wanted to try something different. The bartender overheard my comments and recommended scrambled eggs instead - WOW it was yummy! Also enjoy the mimosas! If I was rating this place on the food and service it would be a 5 however the restaurant is a bit dated and parking was challenging. I say, "it's worth the trip!!!"

Corner restaurant

By Doxa1 |

Went there on a Sunday afternoon on a whim and good reviews. It was a cool corner restaurant and bar but the food and service was average at best. The veggie omelette used canned mushrooms, the coffee was weak and we saw our waitress once to take our order and that was it. On the flip side the restaurant was very busy and it looked as if there were only two people waiting on the whole place. Prices were a little high. I love a good corner gem just don't think this was it.

Brunch

By dani0763 |

We went here for the first time and were very pleased. I ordered the quiche of the day which was bacon & caramelized onions and my husband got the biscuit sandwich with scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon. Each order came with roasted potatoes. The coffee was good and hot. As busy as they were, we were pleasantly surprised with the food and service. We will definitely go back because I want to try their waffles!

Upscale chow right in the neighborhood

By Michael LoFurno |

Sit on the main floor, upstairs, or on the sidewalk. The menu is classy and varied. On my most recent visit, I had the gnocchi with ramps- it was outstanding! I hope to visit again soon.

Favorite Bar in the Grad Hospital area

By Lisa D |

I go to Sidecar at least once a week since moving right around the corner. The braised pork nachos and carnitas are amazing, and the rotation of craft beers on tap never disappoint. The bartenders are friendly and provide great service.

Great eats!

By feliciadavis741 |

Nice place to grab an appetizing meal. Variety of menu choices. Quality food. Great cocktails. Generous portions. Attentive service.

Great Neighborhood Oasis

By TheChiefFromCali |

My wife and I are visiting relatives and wanted to take in an Eagle game and some sights. We found a nice row house to stay in and by doing some recon found this place. Called the bar and was given directions by Nick the bartender who greeted us when we arrived. The place has upstairs seating and has a real neighborhood feel. The food is classic pub style fare, nachos, wings wraps, and pizza. We had a pear arugula cheese pizza that was classic in presentation and flavor.

Great brunch at neighborhood joint

By CEFJR |

We had brunch with my wife's family here on a Sunday. the menu is very extensive, something for everyone. This is basically a bar downstairs with high-top seating and a more extensive seating area upstairs with another smaller bar. The food is excellent. Our group ordered many different things and all were top notch. Good beer selection on tap, TV's to watch sports. All around great bar and grill. Good prices also.

Fun with good food

By foodfan46216 |

Was there on a Saturday morning for brunch. Service was good and business was brisk. I had the crab cakes benedict which were excellent. My friend had the Crispy Goat Cheese salad which looked fantastic. I would not hesitate to return.

Great place

By Flutekk |

Went for Sunday lunch/brunch and the food was great and worth the wait! The only down side was that the place was packed with hardly any room to move and the restaurant was very loud.

Amazing hole-in-the-wall food

By Gregory S |

Both my fiancee and I thought the food was spectacular. We found the restaurant through Food Network, and decided to try while in Philly. I ordered the Bromance, and it was amaze-balls. My fiancee thought the Super Mario was worth a repeat as well.

Excellent food! Great atmosphere!

By K Barrons |

This place has excellent food and a great atmosphere. Don't let the people standing around outside waiting for a table scare you away. You can eat at the bar and the hostess will find you a seat. Menu is varied and creative - chorizo brunch burrito was amazing! Homemade garlic sausage gravy ordered with a biscuit will change your life! The pulled pork eggs Benedict makes you smile as you savor! My husband and I spent a weekend in Philly watching our Nats play the Phillies and enjoyed good conversation with Adam the owner, a good bloody Mary, and wonderful food!
