Visiting family in Portland-daughter told me about this spot so we went there in our Iowa gear to watch the Iowa Hawkeyes Women’s Basketball game and have dinner. We all had wonderful wonderful smash burgers and nachos. Brussels Sprouts on the side for me - fantastic! Great neighborhood location if I lived here, Id feel very comfortable going by myself. Hard to find that sometimes!

we cycled over for lunch yesterday and sat inside....i recall when this was joqs in the 1980's and other places til 2022....we each had a rainier, and ordered from the bar.....i had the tuna melt, sub salad, and sub to sourdough too....my partner had the vegan reuben, sub salad ....the drink/food were excellent....the staff was so friendly, and the 3 of them plus us, shared memories of the portland power, joqs, and more....the relaxing environment and mementos of all sports with women is fabulous...we read to check out the bathrooms too, and we did.....excellent.....we had fun, and thx...

Went to this bar restaurant to support their mission to promote women and girls in sports...but was blown away by the great food and drinks using high quality local ingredients. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere was welcoming whether you are a local regular or a visiting tourist like me.

This is a vibrant sports pub dedicated to women's sports. The bartender and waitstaff were engaging and attentive. Food and drinks were good. The atmosphere was welcoming and busy, assuring us we had chosen a great dinner choice.
Fun
They don’t have ESPN + 😭 which I know a lot of women’s games are still on but think it’s also not included in a lot of packages. That’s my only complaint though. Drinks and vibes are good. It is still a fairly smaller bar but hopefully they continue to do well and open another location or move to a bigger place! They will let you order from the kids menu too which sometimes you just need some chicken tenders.
