Water was the best beverage here

By Larry M |

Tater tots were mushy. Tenders were okay. Cheese sauce was awful. Cherry Sour had vinegar aftertaste. Festbier was disappointing. Strawberry Kiwi Juice Sour was adequate. Cheese flatbread would be better off if I made it at home. The Lillie’s on the table smell like a nursing home.

Great beer

Loved being able to sit outside and enjoy our beers. Did not try the food but the atmosphere is friendly. Stop by after experiencing the Pike Market ---

Great Clam Chowder

By Henry F |

My wife and I were leaving Pike Place Market and decided to grab a light lunch. We stumbled onto the Taproom and ordered a beer. We then ordered the "special" clam chowder and fish & chips. The chowder was some of the best we have ever had and the fish& chips were also very good.

Best decision of our day.

We happened upon this restaurant while touring the city and not finding anything appealing for lunch that wasn't exorbitantly priced. The Taproom has a wide selection of beers and the bartender let us sample a couple when we weren't sure of what to get. We had a couple of simply fantastic sandwiches - the spicy chicken is probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. A true gem and a fantastic choice for beer and a quick bite at a reasonable price.

Shocked

By Monica R |

So last time we were in the building it was called Old Stove Brewing. Now it's called the taproom. I was shocked because I so badly wanted to eat the food I had had at Old Stove. Don't miss understand me. I truly enjoy Taproom. The food was great and the beer was just as good! I love the chips. I have no idea how they cook them but they're good.

ok

By Kai C |

Borderline sketchy homeless situation outside but the beers were good. Some people might consider them overpriced at $11 a (small) glass.

Great food in Seattle

By cornmanrichards |

While there may be many great places in Seattle to eat, we chose this as our lunch on our only day in town. The menu is simple with daily specials and like most breweries, they have a solid list of beer. While everything was delicious, the wings definitely stole the show. Don’t know if I’ll ever be back to Seattle, but this place is worth trying out.

Very cool spot

By Rome |

If you’re looking for a nice spot to get a refreshing brew, look further. The tap room is an excellent place to grab a beer, they have a very good selection to satisfy any pallet. As an added bonus they even have a light bar food menu that includes a bit of everything from chowder to pizza. The open layout and large tables makes the tap room a great place to enjoy with friends.

Great Ciders

By Maura H |

Easy to get in and out and enjoy several ciders and drinks. Sit outside and enjoy the view as the Pike's Place bustle goes by. Tried three ciders and enjoyed all of them!

Good little tap room!

By David C |

I just happened upon this spot today - my wife does say I have a uncanny knack for finding craft beer - and I’m quite happy that I did. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, easy people watching from the street-front patio ... and pretty good beer! I had the Hop-a-Wheelie IPA and the Sit Dunk-a-Lot IPA, both were quite good and cheap for Seattle! I recommend stopping in for anyone looking for some crafts in Seattle!

Poor place altogether

By Steve B |

Absolute hole. The bar tender was completely uninterested in the customer, served us quick enough once he puts his phone down but it was clearly a chore for him to give up his game. The beer only comes in one size which is dictated by the beer you choose and the place is dirty. Avoid at all cost as there is so much better nearby. Also my choice of beer was terrible, tasted like a muddy waterhole in Africa, which didn't help!

Good beer, good breeze

By lyndseymd |

Good place to stop for a beer after shopping, several different options. Food looked really good too. I tried the Old Stove Summer Citra which was really good!

Good beer selection

By smokecheck t |

This is part of the pikes place market and it’s right on the Main Street. When I was there it was early mid week so fairly quiet. I had a selection of craft beers and all were good. Most of their beers are from the Seattle area or at least the north west. Let your significant other prowl the shops and you can set up your command post here. Well worth a visit

Great beer with a view to match

By kurtsfun |

Enjoyed the IPA flight and a cocktail on a nice sunny day with the view. Easy sitting and friendly staff with good traffic flow of customers early afternoon. The Guava was a great flavor combination.

Good beer selection, but could have a few more offerings

By Caroline V |

This is a great place to stop in for a beer or two. I wish they had a bit more expansive of a beer list, but the selection is pretty good.

Relax n Take a Break

By Richard S |

Here's a great place to relax and take a break. If you have been walking all around the Pike's Market Place and the surrounding area, you probably want to sit and relax, well this is a good place for that. They serve up to 18 craft beers and an assortment of appetizers and sandwiches. They also have a kids menu along with kids drinks. A good place for people watching.

Great beers

By Ana Laura Olivar Lopez |

Very nice place for a refreshing moment. Roomy, clean, quiet, yet lively. Great variety of craft beers to enjoy. Recommend Hefeweizen

Good IPA, but don’t order the wine.

By SchalkNZ |

We stopped by on a warm afternoon to have a cooling drink or two. The beer was excellent, especially the “number 11” of the day. My domestic boss asked for a white wine. We both agreed that this was a wine-tasting experience not to be repeated. So, four stars for the beer. I dread to think what we would have scored if this was a wine bar. The service was friendly. No problems there. Stick to the beer. The cider looked good too.

Really OVERPRICED !!

By ww2history |

Stopped in for a few beers. However their prices for beers, IN SMALLER SIZE GLASSES, cost much more than an average sized pint. Common guys, lower your friggin prices. I know you're in socialist Seattle, but really, really expensive prices ! Limited food menu is crappy. Don't recommend for a meal.

Great service, good beer, helpful advice

By LeitGerz |

It was our first night in the city. We stopped to rest, revive, and choose a place for supper. Local next to us at bar and server were both very helpful in suggesting restaurants and unique activities.

Great Place to stop for a refreshing beer!

By LMK101 |

the restaurant is right in the area of Pike Place and on your way to Westlake Mall. The beers are cold and refreshing. We had the #11 and #14. Both great flavors. It is open so you can do some people watching while you take a break. You seat yourself and order your drink and food at the bar. They deliver it to your table. The longer tables are for community seating. We also had Nuts and Olives, a smoked salmon BLT sandwich and a Spicy Chicken Sandwich (which both were really wraps) They came with freshly made chips. The wraps were filling and delicious. Good Place, we'll go again.

Good selection of beers, rustic

By Rich L |

Good selection of beers, rustic feel, sitting on benches and wooden tables. Not too busy, you order at the bar, pay and then take your drinks to a table. The food menu was not huge, however pleasantly surprised that the quality was actually very good. Certainly seemed to be popular but not too busy so as not to find a table. Would definitely return!

Tap In then out

By Waltj-Seattle |

Located by Pike Place Market, the Tap Room is just that. You go up to the bar to order your drinks. They have open seating inside and out. The staff is very knowledgeable and you can order a flight of beers if interested in trying different beers before coming committed to a full size beer.

Beers and more beers

By TravellingQldlanders |

We called in for a drink after the markets. I had an amber ale and my wife a Pinot Gris. We were there for the happy hours after 4pm. Sat on the roadside and watched the world go by.

I would not go again.

By GuidoKarp |

We were on our way to meet friends in the restaurant next door and were 30 mins early. The place looked inviting - so we thought we'd have a coffee and sit and watch the passing the customers. The one star (out of five) I give is for the ambiance, products and particularly service do not deserve any (while serving me, my server was entirely chatting with a friend).

Pretty good

By PKA |

Good place for a choice (16 to be precise) of beers and finger food. They could certainly do better on the choice of food menu, but I would imagine they run only for the beer.,

Pike Place bar

By Jodyboz |

Nice place with lots of local brews and cider on tap. I loved the black currant cider. If you like cider and wine, you’ll love this one! It is close to many other places so worth stopping in.

Good craft

By warren D |

This is a good craft beer place right near the market. They will gladly give you a taste of the beer you order. The food selection is limited; the craft beer choices number around 20. A nice stop

Tasty wrap

By david h |

Stopped in here for some lunch. The wraps were delicious and came with chips rather than fries which was nice. The food was well and freshly cooked and tasty, my cheesesteak was only slightly disappointing for having no mustard. Ample selection of beers but the soft drink list is quite small. There was plenty of space when had lunch but it is likely to get quite busy. Then benches are not the most comfortable seats and probably suit a rear at the younger end of the spectrum!

Stopped by for lunch while my wife was at a business mee

By Steve O |

. The beer selection was awesome, the food selection limited, but delicious. Will definitely head back for another lunch

Friendly atmosphere and great beer

By Happy and expectations met beyond normal |

Tasters are welcome here for beer and cider. Nice and friendly staff. Clean, great place to be after being at the market. Beer is wonderful

Stop here for a bite to eat and a refreshing beer.

By April V |

Go to the bar for a menu and read about the craft ales. I personally had the spicey steak baguette, very tasty with lots of filling. Seemed a poular place for a stop off, would recommend.

Great place for a beer

By Rob B |

Dropped in to grab a beer. Staff was great and made a great recommendation. Try the Amber Wave or Hefeweizen... Drink local!

Hit the spot

By Erica K |

We needed a place to stop and rest our feet, hydrate, and relax after sightseeing. This place fit the bill perfectly! Service at the bar was a little slow, but the place was pretty packed and people were ordering 5-10 “tasters” with every order. But, the beer was good and we were fine with waiting for the end result. We liked it enough that we returned on another day of our trip :)

Great atmosphere

By Melissa N |

Great beers and great music! Very chill atmosphere with lots of seating. Lots of beer choices with a good looking food menu.

Super fast Service

By Andrea |

There are a lot of options on the menu. Good variety. The service is super quick. Very close to Pike Place.

Summer, thirst-quenching bar

By Jo S |

Prompt, positive, friendly service. A range of local ales on tap and tasty bar snacks. Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor.

great food and exceptional beer

By PlainCool |

We stopped in this place to shelter from rain and ended up spending about 5 hours just trying different beers and watching the world go by. Happy hour offers fantastic value and the beers are genuinely excellent. Tried the peach IPA which I fully expected to taste like hand lotion based on previous peach beer experiences but it was superb. Kudos to the master brewer in this place!

Good choice

By ivanhoe |

Lots of craft beers on tap. A variety tray is offered. Stopped for drinks with the girls and it was a nice stop to water up.

Renovated and now a Taproom with beers from multiple breweries

By Shelliu |

We loved it because it’s not as busy as all the other breweries near Pike Place. Super cool place with picnic tables, great beers and a limited food menu. It’s also family friendly.

Great place to eat

By paws0810 |

What a great restaurant. So much to see very clean. The service was fabulous and the food was delicious. We had a burger, Caesar salad, and grilled cheese.

Nice assortment of craft beers!

By Roger G |

We ordered a flight of six beers to experience the various local craft brews. There was an excellent sour on the board that we really liked!! Overall a nice variety of great brews!

Casual PNW Pub near the market

By Marco W |

We took a group of 6 in from out of town and tried the Taproom rather than the Pike Brewing. It was a good choice. It has a more laidback style with picnic tables where you seat yourself after ordering at the counter. They currently have a number of great bears including our favorite , a summer citrus beer. We ordered food which is primarily bar food (apps, wraps and sandwiches) which was fine and filling but not great. The service staff was really helpful because we drank a lot of water even though they were slammed. I'd certainly go again and try to get a table out by the street so we could watch the people .

Cozy Spot For A Beer

By Andrew S |

Stopped in on a Friday night. The place has a nice chilled atmosphere, good drinks, with lots of options.

A must visit !!

By ApparentlyBeth |

Amazing place to visit !! Great to watch all the sports and very reasonable priced beer and loads of arcade games ! Cannot recommend enough this is a must visit when in San Francisco

Trappist in bottles

By Jim |

Great porter on tap as well as a Belgium Trappist sold only in bottles. Thought the porter was better to be honest. The friendly staff were quick with pours which complemented the laid back vibe. Inexpensive for the area at around $5 a pint.

Only had food

By GoHawksAnkenyIowa |

We stopped in for lunch as there was no wait. You order at the counter. We liked the cheesesteak/chips, spicy chicken sandwich and chicken wings. The chicken tacos were too spicy for us. They didn't offer silverware and the chicken tacos were messy. Saw several people doing flights of beer.

Happy Hour

By Holly B |

Great place to stop for a delicious quick bite with excellent choice of beer & cider! The chicken tacos are gluten free & amazing!

Rustic beer bar

By Guenter559 |

This restaurant on 1st Ave. near Pikes Place in downtown Seattle is a little different. A simple, very rustic restaurant with rough wooden tables and benches. And it's self-service! Behind the bar, the draft beers are listed in large letters on the wall and it's not easy to choose. The staff are helpful though and you try the types in question before you place your order. You can sample everything from IPAs to ales, pilsners and lagers. You pay for your order, get the freshly tapped delicacies and then look for a seat in or outside the restaurant. The ambience is very simple, rustic, but with atmosphere. Prices aren't exactly cheap, but they're normal for the area. Definitely worth a visit.

On the way 🍺

By Ida A E. |

Nice taproom with a good selection of beers 🍺 - we stopped there on the way to the Market and we really do recommend that to everyone!

Good craft beer range; definitely coming back

By teeay65 |

This place is in a prime location; easy to find, comfortable booths; friendly staff and a huge range of local and not so local craft beers to choose from. Let your imagination run wild for a while ...

Nice Beer Selection!

By EvaCrowley63 |

My husband enjoyed the beers! Nice selection of beer and hard cider. I had the crab club which was very good and my husband had the wings, which were okay.
