We were staying nearby and took a walk to find a place to eat. We were quickly seated. Staff were friendly. The burgers were great.

I was looking for a restaurant close to my hotel when I ran across the Victor Tavern. It had a very nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly. I went in late afternoon so the still had a happy hour menu which has great choices. I ordered the salmon which was the best I’ve had in Seattle. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice meal.

We stopped by the Victor Tavern after a day of travel from the east coast and since we got into Seattle at almost 8 p.m., we stopped in to eat since they were open until 10 p.m. and other places in the area closed at 9 p.m. Since this was a later meal, my husband and I opted to split the Victory burger. We told our server, Kyle, that we would be splitting it, and the kitchen sent it out cut in half on two plates with the fries also split. We enjoyed the burger and fries, and Kyle was a wonderful server! The noise was a little loud near the bar, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice, and we watched the Mariners game on the televisions while we ate.

Eah, Just ok. 120 dollar Prime rib dinner for two was just ok. Prime rib was tough, Whipped Yukon potatoes were GOOD. Steamed broccoli was ok. Wouldn't go back. On top of that they tell you when you sit down, before ordering that they add a 20 percent gratuity surcharge to the bill. At least they tell you beforehand they are going to disappoint you with poor food and mediocre service.

Evenings are very relaxed here, after the lunch crowd goes home the food remains stellar. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. This is some of the best Ethsn Stowell has to offer. Great for games days or before taking in an event at climate pledge.

Really central spot for food with outdoor eating too. Very tasty burger and chips of generous size, friendly staff too, seated us swiftly and where we wanted to be.

Based on hotel recommendation we took family to this tavern. The food was decent but our waiter was about the rudest server we have ever encountered, and we have traveled a lot. It started with us being charged a pretty large automatic gratuity. When we asked for an explanation we were told that all tips were pooled. It seemed like an odd system so we inquired further. When we questioned how much our server got he rudely and in a firm voice told us it was “none of our business”. A lot of ways to handle this but he was very rude in his aggresive response. As I said, the rudest encounter we have ever had with a server. Obviously pooling of tips work for him or we would have had our tip reflect his horrendous attitude.

We arrived late (which is why photo is empty) and had delicious burgers in comfort and style with great service. The Mosaic IPA was fabulous. We were staying at the Warwick so it was easy. But we’d go again for sure.

Good food, amazing atmosphere, slow pace. We went on a Tuesday afternoon during Happy Hour and ordered a Victory Burger and French Dip Sliders. The burger was well cooked, with fries on the side. The French Dip was well prepared with grilled onions and au jus. Service was slow, as the server appeared to be alone. She did apologize for the long wait for our food, and offered us a free dessert for the inconvenience. (We didn’t complain or ask for any type of compensation for the wait). We chose the S’mores brownie, which was excellent. Marshmallow fluff on top was crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. The smokiness of the graham cracker crust was addictive. I’m not a huge s’mores fan, and I ate half. Highly recommend it as a dessert choice.

Great place to grab a quick bite on a rainy Seattle evening. The food.wss pretty good. The only reason I gave it 4/5 is they added a 22% service charge, and although the ticket said tip is not expected the register asked how much tip did we want to leave

We hit up the Victor one night during our stay because it was right around the corner from our hotel, and the bar was great! The bartenders were very personable and the drinks were well made. We went back for dinner a few night later and were there for happy hour…happy hour menu was excellent! The wings were the highlight for me. Great service and value, food was excellent!

I stopped into the Victor Tavern twice last week while on business travel to downtown Seattle. On both occasions, the bar staff were very helpful and friendly. On my first visit on 6/11, the bartender (I didn't catch his name, but listed on receipt as "PM B") was super friendly and attentive. His food and drink recommendations were spot-on, and I had an excellent simple but fulfilling dinner. Later in the week, I ran in at 9:30pm after finding several other places closed at 9pm. The wait staff assured me there was no problem with putting in an order and not to worry about their 10pm closing time; but I decided to take my meal to go. I got back to my hotel room and had the most delicious burger, well prepared and packed with care. Thank you to the Victor Tavern staff, I look forward to visiting again on my next trip to Seattle.

Stopped here after a recommendation from our hotel. Service was good and fast. Food was also good and came out fast. Nice open seating where you can see people walking downtown.

Victor Tavern in Seattle is a bustling hotspot that promises a culinary delight. Despite its popularity, I was able to snag a spot at the bar quickly. The menu was a parade of temptations, but I settled on a fiery portion of chicken that was perfectly spiced, paired with an array of excellent beers, and topped off with a scrumptious burger. Each bite was a testament to their commitment to quality. It’s a place I’ll return always when in Seattle.

We enjoyed some drinks, good food and had a lovely evening here. The food was well prepared and was delicious. The service was excellent with Kelly, our bar attendant, who had a great attitude, fun demeanour and provided great service

Large room with tables also outdoors. Menu with burgers, salads and fried. Abundant and good quality food. Fast Service and friendly staff. Central location, close to Amazon Spheres

Food was good, service too. What really bugs me is the 22% service charge on the bill. The 22% are subject to tax as well. I usually tip 15%. If you can’t live from this, get a real job instead where you receive a salary. Now the management that doesn’t pay living wages or none at all makes this service charge mandatory, makes the customer not only pay their employees, but also pay tax on the tip. Worst is the fine print that indicates the employees probably won’t even receive the full amount, but greedy management cashes their tips. I hate American tipping culture so much and this is worst I’ve ever seen. Start paying your employees and stop making customers pay them instead.
So Good Sunday Night
The food was great, good portions. Fries hot, ingredients good. Wood recommend on a wet Sunday night and walking distance to the Westin.
