Pleasant restaurant

By Mayke S |

Nice place to eat. They have a small varied menu and fine wine. The fish and seafood dishes are delicious. The second time we chose the burger from the grill, also highly recommended.

Must try - delicious!

You must try Tidal + seafood restaurant at the Hyatt Olive 8. I tried their brunch menu, from oysters, crab benedict, lobster toast, pancakes, steak, bacon - all locally sourced - they were all so beautifully presented and delicious. I also tied their mocktail - with nonalcoholic tequila - yummy.

Very good quality seafood restaurant!

Convenient to the Seattle convention center. Period. Nice atmosphere. Great staff. Superior service. Small menu but with some very good quality items. The soup was outstanding. Very good dessert menu.

Super friendly and welcoming bartending staff during happy hour

By Amy H |

Tidal has a wonderful happy hour from 3-6 pm, and since the Olive8 is located one block from the convention center, it makes for a great stop after work. Inviting bar and friendly team. The salmon cakes were not good, but the drinks were great and of great value.

Dinner at Tidal Seattle Hyatt … and a surprise finish with Alan’s chartreuse.

By musings4u2 |

Service was fabulous, thanks to Stephanie! Informed, attentive, friendly, she really made our dinner experience better than expected. Food and wine options were delish. One of us had spaghetti and clams and couldn’t stop saying ‘man, this is good’. One of us had the baby rocket salad and it was sooo tasty. (Four stars out of five because here’s hoping one or two vegetarian options - besides salad - are added to the menu). A lovely dinner. Thank you Stephanie! (And whoever Alan is … bottle your chartreuse! We’ll never not have that after a Tidal dinner now!).

Burger @ seafood joint is a bad idea

By RhodesPE |

After having a burger for lunch, I had been craving seafood, more specifically a cioppino. Though Tidal- did have that, grilled scallops were going to work nicely. I put in the order and went back to texting with my wife. 20 minutes later, sir, I've been notified we are out of scallops... Their menu is not extensive. On a work budget, I picked the next most affordable item on the menu. The burger. I tried. I really did. It was too heavy. And so not seafood. Plus the black garlic aioli was um... Not paired well. Lots of room for improvement. Maybe just a bad night.

Nasty

We were staying at the olive 8 for our anniversary and decided to just go down and try the hotel restaurant. Our sever was nice enough but the food was awful. My husband had fish and chips and the fish was the equivalent to a frozen fish stick. I had a catfish po'boy sandwich. It had 2 tiny pieces of catfish with mostly being coleslaw the had no flavor. Our meal was $160 for both of us, and I would have been pissed paying $40 for that awful meal. We had to go get pizza after because it was so disgusting.

A local for non-locals

Alex and Carlo are friendly and talented mixologists. They made us feel like regulars in a new town. Lots of homemade tastes and. creative cocktails. Also had a great selection of zero proof cocktails that were not too sweet.

New Brunch downtown Seattle

By jpe1260 |

We have visited this restaurant a few times for dinner and happy hour (great oysters) and always had a good experience. Tidal+ have recently added weekend a la carte brunch. We visited this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. We tried the crab hash Benedict and the house smoked salmon Benedict. They are served on a potato pancake and are gluten free. We also had the gluten free patates bravas as a side. All of the dishes were well presented and more importantly tasted great. Service was friendly and prompt. We felt we got good value along with a delicious brunch! We will definitely return next time we are in Seattle.

Great lunch spot

This place is great for lunch especially if you’re staying at the hotel! We also took the oyster shucking class here and it was so fun!

Amazing

By Quo Vadis |

Tidal+ restaurant on the ground floor of Hyatt Olive 8 is amazing - April our server is amazing, as is the rest of the staff at this fine restaurant. We ate here every day for a week while on a visit to Seattle and the food is always tasty. We tried everything on the menu except surf and turf and it was all delicious, from the yummy salmon cakes to seafood chowder to king salmon to chicken tacos to the ultra delicious hazelnut mousse cake. We will return.

Run, Run Away as Fast as You Can!

A complete disaster. Ordering of Oysters and plates of hot food. We requested the small Kumimoto oysters. Plated hot foot arrived first - they had forgotten the oysters. Then comes a plate of gargantuan oysters, We sent all the food back. (Oh yes, even the simple request of No Fries was ignored) The oysters that eventually were served were not all Kumimoto and 4 of the 12 were dead and slimy. To the positive: The manager comp'd our entire meal, but this should never had happened. Not Recommend

Awesome brunch! Little Pricey. Will come back

By FuzzyBeesMom |

While I was in Seattle, I visited Tidal+ a few times, primarily because I love seafood, and they have quite a selection. What stood out the most, however, was brunch. I came on a Sunday expecting to eat a seafood lunch, but we found that they were serving only brunch. Initially disappointed, it soon turned into a very positive experience. I had avocado toast with a poached egg and smoked salmon. It was absolutely out of this world. I enjoyed every bit of it. My husband, who cares less for seafood, certainly found his favorite brunch items. The potatoes that came with his brunch were so good! They do charge a resort fee as it is part of a hotel on top of already-pricy items. We will certainly come back especially since we get credit for hotel points. Outside of brunch time, I also like their Salmon BLT.

very nice spot for gf dinner

Amazing food. Good gluten free practices. Great cocktails. We had some yummy fish and they had the best seafood chowder. The fish and chips were crispy and good. But get the crispy brussels beacause OMG. SWe also got very fresh oysters. All around good.

Carlo was great and took care of us very nicely!! The food was amazing! I highly recommend a mixture of the oysters! The area had a great vibe!

Great Crabcakes and Seafood

By Aprendiendo |

One of the best Crab cakes we’ve tasted, second only to Sam’s Chowder House at Half Moon Bay, CA. Chock-full of crab meat! The spicy seafood linguine was very tasty and the portion was substantial. The grilled halibut was obviously very fresh, sitting on top of a rice cake and (Indian?) sauce. Located at Hyatt at Olive 8, but at reasonable prices

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, delicious eats and drinks

By maintcoder |

The experience was exceptionally wonderful and the food incredible - especially the surf and turf. Such a relaxed atmosphere, great service from the team, and sublime eats and drinks - such a treat!

Average Food, but very Pricey

By TheExplorerFamily |

We were looking for some Seafood dinner on the day that we arrived. We came here based on the recommendations of our hotel staff. We were greeted warmly and after a short wait, we were led to our table. The place did not look busy. But it took quite some time for our server to arrive. After a little discussion, we settled on Seafood Chowder for my husband, and Fish and Chips for me with a Sourdough Loaf to share along with some Bang Bang Shrimp. These are our favorite dishes, so we were mighty disappointed when they all arrived a little cold, and not hot and steaming as they should have been. When we brought this to the attention of our server, she apologized and informed us that all the cooks are new and have not received enough training. Wow…! The saving grace was the drinks – the Canvas Chardonnay and the Seagarita. The portions are large, but the price point did not justify the quality. Hope to see some improvement on our next trip here.

Great seafood at moderate prices

Excellent service and great seafood. The fish and chips were excellent. My wife’s shrimp had. An excellent wine Demi glaze that was unique and very tasty.

Fancy place

Perfect place for an elegant evening, excellent cocktails and quality food. I would like to apologize because I didn't tip because it was my first day in the states and I didn't know the mechanism

Delicious meal with many allergy sensitive options

By FOTMM |

Had a great dinner here. Sat at the bar and ordered the fish and chips. The fish was battered perfectly and the portion was large. The fries were crispy and ample as well. Service was fast and friendly, prices seemed reasonable to me and there were other dishes I would want to try on a future visit.

Best brunch - amazing eggs Benedict

By Dominic E |

We had brunch at Tidal and all of us grown ups had eggs Benedict. They were amazing - the crab ones were the best I have ever had and had a chance to take a bite of my wife’s salmon Benedict which was also amazing - very much recommend

Amazingly fresh and plump oysters

By Diane N |

Came in to Seattle for a conference. Stayed right down the street and luckily Tidal+ was in between. A colleague found it as in Seattle I have to have seafood. The oysters were amazing!! Plump and tasty. I also enjoyed some seafood chowder that was full of shrimp, clams, scallops and more. My colleague got the fish and chips that were also looking good! The waiter wasn't the best but he was also very busy. Would still go back for the oysters.

Will recommend!

Very friendly staff and quick & clean service. Everyone in our party loved their meal and we had a little bit of everything; cold brew, steak & eggs, burger, fish tacos, and crab hash Benedict.

Happy Ending to a Week of Cruising

Visiting from Florida. Superb oysters and at happy hour prices a total steal. Service and friendliness made it a complete experience. Kudos to April and Vasita for your attentiveness and accommodating our group.

Best brunch spot in Seattle

Incredible experience here with a group of girlfriends for brunch. The food was fresh and delicious and the drinks were all wonderful too. Our server Tina was sweet and gave us excellent service! We will be back!

Great way to end a day

By GrandTour45950441275 |

At the end of a day hiking around town or driving out to a national park we were sure to stop down at Tidal for a nightcap. Alex and Carlo took exceptional care of us, with interesting cocktails and an experience that went way beyond what you would expect from a hotel bar.

Service was good, food was okay

By Nichole V |

The restaurant was nice and the dood was good. I ate here twice and the food was ok. I had a Caesar salad and it was okay, it didn’t have a lot of flavor. Another night I had the chicken and mashed potatoes. The chicken was okay and the mashed potatoes were delicious. It was more on the pricy side and I think there were better options for dinner if you walk a couple blocks.

Local ingredients make the difference!

By SeattleMermaid |

I just had brunch this morning and am still smiling! Fresh oysters! Fresh local eggs with those fabulous orange yolks, local bacon- these ingredients make all the difference! Our table had lobster toast, rockfish tacos with chipotle, steak you could cut with a fork! Eggs and potatoes PLUS blackberry pancakes and warm beignets with Carmel sauce! All flawless! Make that reservation soon or just drop by snd don’t forget their delicious mocktails with made in house non alcoholic tequila! Splendid!🥰

Some of the best food in Seattle

By Sarah |

We had no expectations for Tidals+ but we were so surprised! My husband has the halibut and seafood chowder and is still raving about it. My 9 year old devoured the lobster Mac and cheese. I had the cheeseburger and it was top notch. The desserts were insanely delicious. I suggest the blackberry and pistachio. Our server was great and the bartender went out of his way to make a specialty kid’s drink. If You are in Seattle, this is a must visit!
