If you're looking for a great little place to have brunch with friends you should definitely check out post on 3rd Street they have a extensive menu and they have gluten and vegetarian options which is fantastic if you're in a big group. Take a look at the menu online I definitely recommend the avocado toast the breads and french toast are fantastic they are at bakery as well.

Truly loved this place and the food was amazing! Big portions and it tasted delicious. We ate here several times during our visit in LA.

I have NEVER had dinner in a fine restaurant that didn’t have decaf coffee available at night. Well now I have. I can’t drink regular coffee because of a heart issue. I WON’T be back!

Went for breakfast with my wife and it was everything one would want in a casual, tasty breakfast. The café was very busy but we were greeted and seated right away. The menu was interesting with a variety of choices. The food came quickly in light of how busy the café was. The dishes had a great presentation and tasted amazing. Overall a 10/10 experience which is hard to find in casual dining.

I loved the menu, but was surprised it didn't have gluten free bread. My shakshouka dish was good but needed a little more spices...but I was happy to see it on the menu..Cute place can sit inside and outside.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and really enjoyed everything we ordered. Our waiter was very personable and food came out pronto. Wish I had time to stop in for coffee and baked items before leaving town. No such luck on this trip.

This restaurant is amazing. The food is fresh and delicious. Order anything here and you will not regret it for one second!

Had worst and rude server going there Place was highly rec by my hotel Concierge Maybe as a tourist asking some question to the server should have been more helpful He had an attitude Mannerless server Had a question only about an omelette and the filling Had a high expection but sometimes servers like this can spoil the mood to even dine there Left wo giving tip

We visit toast every time while in LA. Generous portions whle maintaining a high quality of food. Reasonably priced, great service too!

Toast is informal, friendly, and bustling. Service is impressively prompt, considering the last. Both sweets and savouries are well-prepared. No one objects if you linger over coffee.

The best breakfast in West Hollywood!! Go every time I’m visiting LA. Recommend the favourite omelette.

Just passing through town and found this on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. Clearly a popular local spot. There were several parties waiting to be seated, but we did not have to wait long. Service was swift, and food was excellent. We all had the scramblette. We were too full but very tempted by wonderful desserts.

This place has long queues outside at weekends but midweek it's much easier to get a table. It has good coffee and a varied menu. The staff are generally attentive and the food is good.

Fancy somewhere funky and fun for breakfast ? This is the place to go. A cool joint, where there is every possibility you could be dinning next to Hollywood star. Dined inside, but pavement tables available. Amazing selection of treats on offer, something to suit every taste. Highly recommend the banana and chocolate chip pancakes, a pile served as big as your head..! A challenge to finish them to be honest. A super place, with great service, and amazing value for money. Breakfast here, then hit Rodeo Drive and shop till you drop....

Visited Toast on our recent visit to LA. Food was very good, but the service was very slow. The Eggwich is recommended to those that like breakfast sandwiches.

Amazing Huevos Ranchero and chopped salad (breakfast)! Family loved all food. Pancakes are delish as are the vegetarian items!

Came for Saturday brunch and was pleased when our party of three was seated outdoors right away. The service was attentive and excellent. We found street parking right across from the restaurant without too much trouble. The Chilaquiles were excellent and spicy- too filling for me, but hubby happily finished it off. The Eggwich was also good. Both of us wished for more seasoning on the potatoes. The Sofritos Enchilada were also flavorful. The seating area was pleasant for such a busy area. Plenty of shade and space from other parties.

Sat outside and enjoyed good service and food. V relaxing. Menu was extensive and portions were v generous. We had pancakes, fruit and avocado and eggs. Salad was fresh with nice dressings.

While we had a good meal here, the restaurant's ranking of 40 in all of LA set high expectations. Nice atmosphere (we ate outside) but some problems. The first cup of coffee I got was so weak I could not drink it. The server graciously replaced it and the second was better. My main, an omelette with mushrooms, spinach, feta and onions was good but not great -- a little dry and the ingredients not really mixed (I got the mushrooms first, then the onions, etc). My husband enjoyed his French Toast.

Toast is absolutely wonderful. I ordered a scramblette (The Denver) and it was fabulous... full of flavor. The atmosphere was delightful. Service was friendly and fast. Not a single complaint.

So good we came back a second time. Friendly staff, great menu selection, fresh fruit and reggae music. What's not to like?

My last visit to Toast was exactly 3 years ago. It's just as good now. One of my guests had the stuffed French toast and she still raves about it and a month has passed and we're back home in Scotland. I'm like, 'let it go, it was French toast love!' lol..... Laid back service with a friendly touch and super quick coffee refills make it still, one of my favourite breakfast/brunch hang outs in LA

Me, my girlfriend and her friend went here. The love the vanilla latte, the chicken schnitzel was decent. The pancakes was good.

I enjoyed eating here. Aside from the food being great, There’s outside seating, very quick service, and friendly staff!

It was really worth trying.. Really good .. And the varaities were big. We order so many things and they where all deliciouse. Must try in LA.

Mmmm, delicious breakfast. Friendly staff where nothing is a problem. The coffee was fantastic, our waiter took the time to put lists together of everthing we should see in the city. The food was delicious, kids loved there food. A definite must stop if in LA

This is one of the best spots for brunch on 3rd street. They offer great breakfast and brunch food. I would recommend their steak and egg bruschetta. It is absolutely delicious. Prices are bit higher, but service and food makes it worth it.

Really great brunch spot. Brilliant menu. The salads are amazing, the half portions are plenty big enough. Always busy, service was great. Highly recommended

The restaurant is located on the charming W 3rd Street promenade. We had there delicious breakfast (although not cheap). We enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and the good service. We especially recommend the breakfast for two, which is very rich (including your choice of eggs, cheese, vegetables salad, fruit, yogurt and baked pastries). Bon Appetite!

Cute place with great food. Love their take on chilaquiles. Definitely was worth the visit and will for sure go there again

Terrible food. It is trendy with the locals but the food is really bad. I would not recommend this place at all.

Food in this place is amazing. Eggs, fruits and bread. There are options for people on a diet. I will definitely return.

We were a group of 4 and all of us enjoyed what we ordered. My eggs, avocado toast were great, but the pancakes were our favorite! The service was quick even though the restaurant was full. Highly recommend!

Actually didn't mind waiting for our table as the place has great people watching. The food breakfast or lunch is delicious. The soups and sandwiches were fab! Especially the tomato basil and lentil. Most impressed with the service. Food comes out of the kitchen so fast. Would definitely come every time I'm in Lala Land. Xo😎

There are a number of great restaurants in this area on West 3rd Street. Toast is at the top of the list. In addition to a great setting and extensive menu, the service excelled as well. The manager (Rev ?) went way out of her way to ensure we had a great meal and service. Thank you.

Toast was an adorable place to eat! I loved the patio and was so happy to see so many gluten free options. (By the way, my GF banana chocolate chip pancakes were amazing!) All staff that I encountered--hostess, waiter, and bussers--were friendly and kind. Also, their coffee was delicious. Definitely recommend Toast Bakery Cafe to anyone in the LA area.

This place was suggested by the hotel we were staying (SLS Beverly Hills). Upon entering the door we were greeted by a few friendly faces. Once we sat our order was taken promptly and our coffee was topped up constantly. I ordered the eggs breakfast with pancakes which was fantastic. My partner ordered eggs as well. Also very happy. The atmosphere was appealing and the staff definitely made our experience a great one! Thank you. 😊

We only had three available mornings for breakfast and we ate here twice - we loved it that much. Everything seemed extremely fresh and it's a very comfortable, cute environment. Pleasant staff too. And the bakery items were awesome.

Exceptional breakfast. Great selection, I had the chilaquiles which was fresh and delicious. My wife had poached eggs (cooked to perfection) with a big bowl of delicious fresh fruits. Service was first rate. Excellent value. Best breakfast we had in our whole two week trip.

Great food and service. I would go here all the time if I lived in the area. I highly recommend this place to eat at. I will return when back in town.

We tried Toast with our daughter and we thought it was very good. We were seated right away though it was crowded. The service was very good as was the food. I had a bowl of fruit and vanilla yogurt which was delectable!

Found this place on a Sunday just driving around LA. It was great. Good service, good food. I had the eggs Benedict, probably the best I've had. Great toasted english muffin, light buttery hollandaise, yummy ham! My husband got the pancakes. So good light, flavorful. Great meal. Fresh squeezed OJ!

Best breakfast in LA so far! Had a goat's cheese omelette, that comes with your choice of bread (fab! I often search for gluten free) and fresh fruit salad. Yum! It was exactly what I needed 😊 Defo coming back for more! Oh, and loooved the idea of a little positive message on a napkin 😊 So cute!

New Management Just Destroyed My Favorite Lunch Spot. I have been a regular at Toast for 20 years. I won't be going back again. New owner, new (much smaller) menu and my lunch today was just really bad. Frozen fries that were not fully cooked, a turkey sandwich that looked like deli case pressed meat. I am so sad, this was my go to lunch spot! I loved the CORNER WRAP, I loved the LUS chicken pesto sandwich. Loved the french fries and sweet potato. Great salads. This was a completely different dining experience. I wish my best to the help and wait staff they are always fantastic but I spent $25 today on something I couldn't eat. So sorry, I never like to write a bad review - I rarely do - but this feels like the end of Toast.

I love this place! I live in San Diego and visit LA fairly often. I wish I could eat here every trip. The food is great, everything like the soup, salad dressing, baked goods taste house made. The place is popular and so expect a wait. Parking can be a challenge but they have valet. There are cute boutiques and other places to eat in the neighborhood, so worth a visit and to spend time exploring. Service is great and friendly. Prices are reasonable and portions are substantial. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or baked goods!

After 14 hours in a plane this was exactly what I felt like.....green juice, eggs Benedict and a latte. A little pricey but delicious.

I come here every Friday and sometimes on the weekend for brunch/lunch. The menu has SO many great options. Service is always great. There is always a wait on the weekends but usually not more than 20 minutes. Worth the wait. The old manager was amazing, I wish they would not have let her go. Toast has one of my favorite basket of fries in the city. Definitely a must eat to eat. They recently raised their prices a bit, which I found to be a bit ridiculous but I'll chalk it up to new management.

Had a really good lunch here at the Toast Bakery Cafe. The service was super fast and friendly. Highly recommend coming here for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Expect a wait, it's always busy!

My daughter and I had a late breakfast and it was delicious. I had the spinach shakshuka. It was creamy and satisfying. The best thing was the chop chop salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. I was hoping for some good olives with it, but I guess people have different taste, these were like martini olives. The servers were excellent, it was quiet, and we were not rushed.

Amazing tasty breakfast, great coffee and service. Highly recommend the chilaquiles. Would definitely come back given more time

My wife and I came here on a recommendation from out hotel concierge, and we’re so glad we did! Despite arriving shortly after noon, thankfully it wasn’t crowded. My wife had a spinach mushroom omelet and I had buttermilk pancakes. I asked for soft butter which they made a special effort to give me. Both our breakfasts were excellent - as are their cookies at the checkout. I highly recommend them and will definitely return!

Be there in time because the que builds quickly. They have a great breakfast selection of omelette sand pancakes. I had my favorite egg benedict and it was lovley.

After considering top 10 breakfast spots in LA we chose Toast and it was truly fantastic. The service was fantastic but the food really stands out. Right from the start with proper fresh pressed orange juice and robust fresh coffee. I had the breakfast burrito with a side of fruit. It was perfect, well prepared and very hot. My family chose the build your own omelette and the breakfast sandwich. Everyone was extremely satisfied and can't wait to return. We had been to another top breakfast spot twice in the past but this was far superior.

Lovely place with some nice outdoor seating and a large indoor eating area. The menu is so large with so many options! I had a noodle salad that was delicious and also had breakfast here a couple of times, all really good. Banana and chocolate chip pancakes are amazing! Highly recommended. Bathroom is really nice too!!

I'm always in the market for a delicious breakfast. While visiting Los Angeles, I had a business breakfast at Toast on a Friday morning. I was so impressed, I returned Saturday morning for more. I highly recommend the Chilaquiles and the Oscar...both egg dishes. The croissant french toast was decadent and delicious. The coffee was not an afterthought. It was very good. Winner!

We dined at Toast twice on our visit to Los Angleles this time. We've been there before for brunch but we also had a late lunch there this time. For brunch we had French toast (what else) with fresh California berries it was great as usual. For lunch I had a very eclectic Jalapeno grilled chicken on pita with a side of fresh fruit. It was a little spicey (no suprise) and delicious. The pineapple mint lemonade was a perfect compliment. I also must say that while the restaurant was crazy busy, the staff was very helpful and attentive. We go back to LA often from the East coast to visit family. Toast will definitely be on our list when we go back.

Everybody loves a good breakfast! I'm a fan. Good portions, very tasty food and very nice staff! They gave us some cupcakes because it was our first time visiting. Definately will come back!

Had to wait a while but food was good. There is a huge menu so it took me a while to decide. Friendly staff.

Food and service is very great. Fresh products and more than enough with one plate. French toast are delicious!

Came here by recommendation and it did not disappoint! The portion sizes were great and the food was delicious. Recommend the poached egg and avocado or the salmon cream cheese bagel.

Came here with the family for breakfast was quite nice. They offer gluten free options which is good but be aware when questioned about cross contamination they said they do put the gluten free toast in a toaster with gluten bread so this is would be no good for coeliacs and only other options for gluten free were eggs. The omelette was very good though.

Very busy street cafe. Everything was tasty but portions were not large. One the most expensive meals on our trip. Single restroom for the whole restaurant = long line.

Delicious brunch! I had “the oscar” and it was outstanding!! Good service, nice spot, highly recommended!!

This place has such a great large menu to make any family member happy from breakfast, lunch or dinner. beware if go on weekends expect a wait. I always go during the week in the mornings or later afternoon. Stuffed french toast or croissant french toast goes down well if I did my morning workout to allow the indulgence of calories, but plenty of healthy choices as well. Desserts are decadent as well.

This is just about a 4, this place has some good food and it’s good value for money. Portions are generous and the quality is quite good. We had a classic hamburger and a steak burrito. The former could have done with a better bun, which was the boring store-bought sesame seed bun instead of a home-made one. The burrito was delicious and this is what I would recommend if you go there. As for the juices, I got the freshly squeezed orange, which was good although I felt they added some sugar (although I am not sure), but it felt unnecessarily sweetened. All in all, a nice place that could deserve a visit should you go to Los Angeles.

Fun, lively place with indoor and outdoor dining. Good food, good service, good prices, good menu. Unbeatable combo. Did not have this visit but understand that any of the soups are worth ordering more of to take home.

It is a bakery/kitchen kinda place. Fresh ingredients, low fat options, GF options, vegan options. Great tasty stuff. Fresh and inspired. One of the best breakfasts I have every had. So much to say about it. Great service. Great coffee. I am a fan of West 3rd because of the restaurants. This is my fave breakfast place.

What a great spot, been here before, menu has everything you could ever want for breakfast and all generous portions...hard not to sit there all day! Friendly and fast service.

While passing the time waiting to attend our granddaughter's dress rehearsal for Mama Mia! at YADA, my wife and I decided to get a quick breakfast at our favorite LA breakfast spot, Toast Bakery Café. We both thoroughly enjoyed our Three Eggs special, with perfectly prepared scrambled eggs, potatoes and turkey sausage with delicious rye toast. We'll be back, for sure!

Overpriced. Overrated. Poor option and bread are not good taste. They are trying to do like Urth coffee but they have failed.

Great place to enjoy a hearty breakfast. All kinds of eggs, pancakes, salads and smoothies in the Melrose District, West Hollywood. Pictures speak for themselves!

Toast Bakery Cafe.. "Mmmm! Long lines but The Best Brunch" I know we all agree on that. Now, beyond the friendly staff, the homely layout, and herbs on the windowsill, and further beyond the wide selection of choices on the menu.. I want any Celiac, Vegan, or allergy restriction dietarian to be aware of how some of their food is cooked. Tortilla chips have been fried with the chicken and wheat products even though they are labelled as Corn and V and GF friendly. Cross contamination is a serious concern that consequentially can cause dire effects on those with severe allergies. I am speaking as a daughter who has grown up with a mother that has had such severity in food restriction and she is sick in bed for a week after eating something that has been cross contaminated. So that's my warning over and done. I just wouldn't want any of you to have any issues like that. I admire the honesty of the staff members. The service is quick. And the salads are bomb!

My first time there ....had the quinoa oatmeal with fruit it was very good. Also ordered a side of fruit which was fresh and colorful with an assortment of fruit!

We visited this restaurant for breakfast. So many crowd. Many variation menu for breakfast and good coffee and smoothies. The portion so big that we can share.. Taste very delicious, very good presentation..

Weekend crowded but the food was good should try it at least once. The French toast was nice has outside seating

We were in LA for a long weekend and loved Toast so much that we went twice! Great portions for their breakfast, and their mochas are amazing! Highly recommend.

We went here each day of our holiday in LA. Nice servers. Good coffee and nice breakfast with little cookies and muffins in the side. Try the oatmeal with almond milk.

Previous reviews are now irrelevant since Chef Josette LaBlond took over on April 1st and has turned our favorite brunch place into a poor shadow of its previous self. We were served French toast with moldy strawberries - totally killing our appetites. The Avocado toast was not the previous slices but the thinnest of spreads, like butter. The menu was reduced to one page, leaving out most of the old favorites. Water was served warm in flimsy plastic containers instead of the previous glass. Looking at the majority of faces of both customers and staff, morale under Chef Josette’s French style management has sunk. A couple on the way out came to each table to say they had been coming here for decades and were never coming back and each table readily agreed! The staff had been reduced by 75% and looked miserable and run ragged. There was no one at reception to greet and seat customers. Josette has effectively killed a neighborhood gem and we shall never return under her ownership. Why mess with a good formula? Sad!

Amazing attention really fast drinks came within 5 min, then food 5 after. Will return Avocado toast 10.5 Smoked salmon bagel 11 (they bring you all apart so you make it as you want

The place was not busy at all. For a sandwich 15-20 min for food is a bit long. Never saw the server who took the order after placing g order. Lots of employees standing around behind counter reclining against back pastry area. Only one refill of diet coke thought hey charge 4.67 almost $5. Nobody checked to see if I likes fiord. no check was present end though a machine to record credit card was brought to table. The person who brought gave no instructions believing I knew how to operate. When she saw I was not pressing buttons she came back and start pressing buttons finally showing me a screen to choose top. I insisted on getting a printed receipt. Then it was revealed I was being charged more that the menu price. The receipt showed they were charging more about 3.67% than quoted menu pírico than if I would have paid in cash. TOTAL RIPOFF. They brought he machine when I asked for check and did not tell me if I pain in cash it would be cheaper. BUYER BE WARE review check don’t trust TOAST

I've been coming here for years, but I'm a little disappointed with my most recent visit. Sure, the food is really good. Love the breakfast burrito, and the shakshuka. But, really, the too loud reggae music this morning wasn't great--glad somebody had the sense to turn it down. Had a pot of tea. First pot was dirty, so I asked for a second, which had a leaf floating in it! The server explained to me that this was from a mint tea, but that did not make me feel any better. I know it wasn't mine. There were also too many flies this time around. I probably should have gone with three stars, but I have so many great memories here, I just can't.

Lovely place and delicious food 🥘 Breakfast combo Scrambled eggs and potatoes 🥔 and frensh toast 😍♥️👍🏻💯 Shakahoka egg 🥚 🍳

Hearty typical American breakfast with service a bit 'long. Good quality product presented with care , high average price , about $25.00 each. Not a little for a breakfast

I loved this cafe! always super busy. I had the tomato soup and fresh coffee. My friend is a celiac and was given bread with wheat but they sorted it out straight away and knocked money off the bill. Really accommodating!

Our son took us here and we were very pleased with the quality of the food. We decided to go back again and it is one of our regular go-to restaurants whenever we travel to Hollywood from up north. There is both indoor and outdoor seating-dogs are welcome outdoors in their dining patio 👍🏻

Had to grab a quick lunch before heading to LAX. It was 11:50 on a Sunday morning and we got in right away taking a high top table inside. Service is super fast and efficient. It was like a symphony of servers. My avocado BLT was delicious. My son loved his quesadilla.

Excellent breakfast in The Grove shopping district. The banana caramel waffles were nothing short of amazing. The entire family loved the food. Wish there was a location in Nashville.

We went there 3 times on our 1 week vacation and were always pleased. Service is friendly and attentive. Location is good, just on a corner by 3rd street with a nice outside seatery. Food is well prepared and portions are large. I recommend the huevos rancheros and avocado toast.

Went here for a breakfast meeting on the recommendation of the person I was meeting with. It was a little bit of a wait but the line moved fast and in the end it was well worth it. The food was great and service was on point. Do yourself a favor and get the steak burrito. It's newish but tasty and very filling. Coffee is excellent and our server game me a take home cup after. Extra points for that!

I chose this place to have breakfast with my family and I highly recommend it The food is excellent, the staff welcoming and friendly Very nice and clean place, varied menu A little expensive.. but we are in Los Angeles!

I love their Tony's salad! the pecans, blue cheese, strawberries and avocado.... yummy! Service is professional and quick. I recommend!

Toast is a great place to have an extraordinary breakfast that will give the energy that you need to make through the day and what's amazing is that except waffles and pancakes you can find oatmeal, amazing omelettes(OMG!), scramblettes and fruits! Good options, good sized portions, really fresh fruit with every dish and the coffees were refilled a couple of times! The is very friendly and the prices are reasonable! And for the record it has many Gluten-Free options! I would like to suggest to everyone to go there and you will never regret it!

If want to experience a typical and high quality American breakfast then this is your place. Huge menu gives you basically all you could possibly want.

My wife and I were tiring of our hotel breakfast option while touring LA, so we wanted to get out and experience a local breakfast option. We chose Toast from Trip Advisor, and were not disappointed. Only downside was finding a "qualified" spot, other than paying $10 in an adjacent garage or metered parking. We lucked out and found a spot only a block away. The restaurant offers both in and outside service, but on this cool morning we dined inside. The ambiance is comfortable, the service swift, and the food delicious. My wife ordered the 3rd street - spinach, swiss and feta cheese omelet, and I got the classic pancakes with sides of eggs and bacon. All was done to order, nicely presented, and very tasty. Tea and coffee were both delivered hot. Our bill was somewhat pricey, but I'll give it a pass due to egg prices. Excellent choice and experience.

The portions are so HUGE at this place. We ordered five dishes between four adults and one toddler and the table barely had enough room for all of our plates! The portions are big for not only California but really anywhere. The food was delicious and memorable. Had THE PORTOBELLO omelette and it was delicious! Had VANILLA LATTE as well with almond milk and it was just perfect! The staff was attentive and clean. Sat outside and the heater kept us nice and warm. Overall, will definitely return!

Great place for breakfast or brunch. Nice selection of eggs, waffles and breakfast skillets. Coffee leaves a lot to be desired. Service is spotty, but friendly.

So great! My friends and I had a delicious brunch on a Friday afternoon. Food and service was impeccable, plus we got free mini cupcakes! Highly recommend.

Very good breakfast, with good service and excellent choices. Reasonable prices. We enjoyed a custom made omelette and eggs which were really good.

Super friendly service and a vast menu with so many things to try. Highly recommend the French toast with orange cream filling and the avocado on toast with poached eggs!

I went to Toast for breakfast and being a healthy eater found lots of great options. Scramblettes and Omelettes fruit and oatmeal. Of course they also do waffles and pancakes. It's a casual cafe with yummy, consistent food which is clear by the long line of people waiting for a table.

While this is a lovely restaurant, just want to warn people with allergies that this is not the place for you. They were not able to accommodate a nut and shellfish allergy. The only thing they had to offer was a fruit bowl.

Toast is a nice warm and open breakfast/brunch location and the wait for a table is reasonable. Price ok but and I would say the waiter service is average. Atmosphere of the site is good, great if you like sitting outside and people watching!

What an amazing breakfast, I had the quesadillas which were so good and my wife Really enjoyed here chillaquiles. Great coffee and juice as well. Only bad thing about this place is that we couldn’t eat lunch after as the meals were so big haha. Highly recommend

I’ve had problems every time I’ve done carry out or delivery - wrong items, missing items, delivery person at wrong address. For some reason though, this is always my quick go-to when I’m in town. The food is much better if you eat there (and it’s obviosuly more likely for your order to be correct). Love their soups.

We (2 people) have been there on a Saturday morning around 10.30 am. As we expected it was very full and we had to wait for 25 minutes outside to get a table. Sounds a lot but definitely worth it. The food was amazing and very fresh. Even though their prizes are a bit higher than usual, it is not too much and really worth the prize! We had a great time. Unfortunately we couldn't come back on our short trip but we keep some good memories! Thank you

Parking was not as bad as I kept reading on these reviews. We went around 11am on a Friday and found street parking right by a meter a block away. We put our name down for a table and it was a half hour wait. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with one bathroom. Tons to choose from on the menu. Staff was friendly and the portions were HUGE! You definitely get your money’s worth. Everything was absolutely delicious. The prices were a tad high, but I think it’s because it’s California. Including tip it was $93 for breakfast for three people. We were on vacation though so we left with happy bellies!

In the middle of fashionable West Hollywood with indoor and out door seating. Staff is out of this world, friendly, competent, and attentive without being too much. They kept refilling as we had family conversation for about an hour. We kept ordering goodies, even some take home. It gets a well dressed casual crowd. On Sundays suggest you get there before 9:30 AM.

On the recommendation of our hotel, we had breakfast at Toast and very glad to find this place! Clearly already a favorite, it was busy but not so packed that we had to wait long for a table. Good options, good sized portions, really fresh fruit with every dish, well prepared and good service too (offered coffee refills a couple of times). Menu offered lunch options as well that looked good but we were in the mood for breakfast so didn't explore.

Impress your out of towners by letting them think that all LA restaurants offer this variety of choices at such reasonable prices. There is a good reason why the Sunday crowd gather here and will wait on line (or is it 'in'line?) for the opportunity to dine here. Open the menu, close your eyes and point. It is all really good and you can't go wrong.

Bottom line is Nice place and food is ok But service is Slow uneven and ita very expensive for breakfast. They are clearly understaffed and expect delays...sad

Really excellent cafe. Choice on the menu is extensive and everything we had was top draw. After finding it on day 2 of our trip, we came back every day until we left.

While visiting a friend at cedars Sinai came across Toast and glad we did. Very busy but they were very efficient in seating and taking our order. Had the lox omelet while my friend had the "favorite" omelet. Both were very delicious mine had a generous amount of lox. Service was Swift, food was delicious, would recommend.

After a fun Friday night out on the town, breakfast at Toast Bakery Café on Saturday morning was just what the doctor ordered. The menu had so many items that looked good it was hard to choose the best option. The waitress recommended the French toast as one of their signature items so one in our party ordered the French toast platter. Three of us ordered the breakfast combo which included two eggs served any style with potatoes or fruit, a choice of bacon or sausage, and choice of classic French toast or pancakes, I had fruit, sausage and French toast as my sides. The bowl of fruit that came served with the breakfast entrée was AMAZING! It was a great mix of every type of fruit - raspberry, blackberry, orange, kiwi, pineapple and strawberry. The French toast was the perfect sweet to complement the salty flavors of the eggs and sausage. The breakfast was very good and very filling. I also ordered the special kale smoothie which included kale, pineapple and orange. It was good but did not taste like what I expected. I don't know if maybe it lacked the banana that I am used to in my smoothies. Regardless, it was a healthier option than soda which I often order. Since it was such a nice day, we sat at an outside table. Service was unbelievably quick. We ordered our meals and had them delivered within minutes (so quick that I was like "that can't be ours already!" and it was!).

Since I ate in this place I was fascinated by everything they offered me to eat and I naturally wanted to try the best and if it was the best

Just order the following: A bowl of berries Blueberry cheesecake Not your mamas grilled cheese Shakshuka Breakfast burrito Chocolate peanut butter reese's pudding Peanut butter cookie And you'll know what I mean! Beautiful gorgeous food yummy style. Definitely recommended!

Amazing food. Vibrant and loved the menu. Everything was wonderful! Staff was prompt, coffee good and the brunch menu was fantastic. Must Go!

Great food, friendly service, cool neighborhood, Toast has it all! The avocado toast with arugula and perfectly poached eggs were delicious and their fresh fruit bowls are beautiful and full of all kinds of perfectly ripe fruit. It is summer and it is California but we’ve all had those fruit bowls where your not sure if it’s honeydew or cantaloupe, the grapes are smushy and the strawberries make you pucker—this is not that. My daughter had eggs, bacon, with French toast which she inhaled. Kids pancakes were tasty and large enough to fill up my 10 year old son—bacon on the side completed the meal.

Very good breakfast food I love the atmosphere So delicious food The people working made us feel at home and were super nice

Such a nice place for breakfast! I really liked the food and service. I would come again definitely. I took breakfast combo and the French toast which was amazing!

whether you like your traditional eggs and bacon or are on a no carb diet, paleo, or whatever else...there are plenty of options for you at this place and they are all yummy. absolutely a must visit if you are in the area.

OMG!!! The food was so good! Best meal during my LA Trip. Everything was very fresh and delicious! I had the spinach, tomato and cheese omelette with bacon and avocado. It also came with something called the "chop chop" salad. So healthy and so good! The price was very good too.

We stopped at Toast for breakfast. The menu is very large, but we were on a cleanse, so we had to have no dairy, no gluten and no sugar. My husband and I both got the three eggs plate (three eggs, fruit and turkey bacon). I got gluten free toast. We got coffee. We ate outside on a gorgeous day. It was lovely! My favorite bits were the fruit bowl. It was beautiful and delicious!

Amazing! I would recommend it to anyone. It's not my first time here, I come back more and more! If you crave for some pastries than this is the right place to go.

We were looking for a place to have breakfast after a long flight and received a recommendation for the place ... We were welcomed with a big smile .. We explained that we had just arrived and immediately helped the hostess .. The food was wonderful and fresh and delicious the dishes varied and satisfying .. We will definitely come back again when we get to Los Angeles.

This was my first spot of choice while visiting LA. I found this place on Instagram and was sold with the great images. Upon arrival, parking was a bit difficult. Luckily, I was able to find metered parking across the street. My partner and I dined outside in the lovely weather. As for the food, the menu was full of delicious items but I went with my normal breakfast choices, a little pricey but as expected. The staff were friendly and the service was pretty quick. Must try for anyone visiting!

This was a great breakfast spot ideally located on West 3rd St. There were loads of options for breakfast & brunch which were all freshly prepared. We came here twice and both times the food was excellent. I’ll definitely be back here next time we visit the area. Reasonably priced, excellant fresh food which they’ll prepare as you want. Tonnes of healthy options too!

We had huevos and a new potatoe /egg and bacon kinda of a skillet but not quite. Both were very good and great service.

A good range of choices on the menu. I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts .....the multi grain waffles and also the oatmeal. The servings are beyond adequate. The food is delicious but service could be improved.

Our family of 5--parents + 22, 19 and 13 year old--visited Toast Bakery Cafe for our first LA breakfast of the trip. I had added it to my TripAdvisor list long before we left Houston so it was a must-visit. We were able to rather quickly grab a patio table, which was a plus. I do not remember what we ordered as this was a month ago, but there were sleepy smiles all around the table. Do visit for breakfast if you can!

We arrived to a buzzing cafe with a line already formed! Well the hype must be true and the TA ranking justified only the food would confirm. We were not disappointed. Super service even under pressure as the whole property was packed! Excellent menu choice for breakfast. Super fresh and delivered quickly. All were satisfied and ready to tour the city!

A great spot for breakfast or lunch. There is a lot of items on the menu and you can't go wrong with any of them. It is usually crowded and parking is scarce, The prices are LA reasonable. What more can I say?

EVERYONE! You have to check your receipts every time you go there! This is my second time. That I visited their restaurant, but when I received the bill I noticed there is 18% gratuities that was automatically included and we were a party of two. We noticed that they charge and take advantage of the Arab ethnic population. I actually checked the next table near to our and he showed me his bill no gratuity was added. Please make sure you don’t get ripped off like they tried to take advantage of us. According to their company policy! (Orders over $100 will be charged a 10% prep-charge. An 18% gratuity will be added to any parties of 6 or more, or bills exceeding $100.)

We ate here every morning during our LA vacation and loved every bite. Great service and great food! I especially enjoyed their Belgian waffle with strawberries and bananas. Very popular but we were fortunate to find free table every time.

Decided to come here because it looked great in pictures, and it did not disappoint! I tried the “Open Face” which was a croissant with smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, hollandaise sauce and scallions and my boyfriend had the “Green Chilaquiles”. Both were great! I would come here again, great food and atmosphere and we were seated immediately. There wasn’t a long wait time for our food either!

A perfect place to have dinner with the family on Sunday nights at once to meet friends. A suitable place for refreshing.

Eric, our waiter, was excellent and really made the overall experience better. The food was superb everyone in my party was happy with our meals. I loved my pancakes. The music playlist at Toast is also fantastic! Highly recommend!

Toast Bakery Cafe is one of those restaurants that kind of blends into the neighborhood with great breakfast & brunch items in a bakery type atmosphere. The food is very good with large portions. The omelets are excellent and one must try the stuffed French toast. The nice thing about this restaurant is that they tale reservations for 4 or more people with both indoor and outdoor dining. They do have valet parking. The restaurant is casual. The berry jam is to die for.

Let me start by saying that our waiter was prompt taking our order and courteous. However, I was disappointed that what I thought was a simple order, was not. I ordered 3 poached eggs cooked medium with my breakfast. The first time they came out they were undercooked so I sent them back, after some time, and a reminder to the waiter who thought the eggs had come out, my second order’s eggs were way overdone and dry. I do not consider myself a picky eater, buy poached eggs should be a no brainer. I order them this way all the time. Sorry, but this experience was unimpressive. There is no excuse for not filling this simple order.

Delicious “breakfast for lunch!” Fantastic goat cheese omelet, banana and pumpkin bread to go. Insider neighborhood spot - out of towners treat yourself! Don’t miss cute store attached. Candles are the best!

We walked to Toast from our Hotel (SLS) for Brunch and it was excellent. Between the three of use we had chocolate chip pancakes, banana.strawberry waffle, and breakfast burrito. Outside dining and pet friendly.

After a long flight we checked into our hotel and walked over to this cafe after reading all the TripAdvisor reviews. They were all spot on. Excellent fresh food, served just a few minutes after ordering. Kind, attentive staff. Food looks exactly like all of the photos in the reviews. Very happy we stopped here.

We went there for brunch on a Saturday morning. Wait was about 15 minutes. Wife had the coffee cake French toast. She liked it a lot. Son had the stuffed French toast. I had a salad that was just okay. Total including tip was $62. A little high for ala carte breakfast.

Toast Bakery Cafe is the best place for brunch at Hollywood Lines are infinite on Saturdays and Sundays, try to have it mind. You'll probably have to wait for 30 min average

We have eaten here before and returned and it was just as good as before.Close to where we were staying and easy parking. Good service and really great food. No complaints!

Unique and creative and very good albeit a bit pricey. Portions size vary so be sure to inquire as to size if you are hungry. It is a busy place and you can wait if on the weekend but worth it.

Came here for a late brunch with some friends on a Sunday. We had to wait about 10 minutes but we passed the time by looking in the gift shop that's attached. The menu was very abundant. I had an omelette with chicken, bacon, spinach, and avocado with fruit and a banana chocolate chip pancake. The food was very delicious. I would definitely make the trip across town to come back.

Stopped here twice for breakfast & brunch, both visits really good service and food was really nice. Menu has lots of options for breakfast and lunch and good size portions and a good price, would recommend

Toast is my favorite place to eat in Los Angeles! The people, the service, and of course the food, is ALWAYS top notch...

We really enjoyed our breakfast here this morning. My husband got a spinach/mushroom/feta scramble with perfectly toasted bagel, butter, excellent berry jam (tasted homemade), and potatoes he didn’t bother to eat. It was funny; the potatoes just didn’t match the quality of everything else. I had shakshuka which I thought was very nicely done, baked with a wonderful large pepper that had a wonderful texture and was hot to the perfect degree for me. Bread basket cake with butter, that seemingly homemade berry jam, a really nice olive oil with pesto for dunking the warm rolls, and also tahini to contrast with the hot pepper. All of this was perfect. There were also sliced and pickled peppers on the side.

The food is amazing. Service quick and friendly. Great ambience and flexible seating. Overall great place for brunch! Worth a stop.

I had a tough choice picking from all the incredibly delicious choices for breakfast. But the lox, cream cheese, and whatever else was in it was calling me. The GF bread and the various jams were delish as well. For sure I ate too much but couldn't leave much over as it was just so good. The service was as good as the food and exceptionally friendly! For sure I'd come back!

Best place to hang out after Runyon or Bronson Canyon Tons of selections all made fresh. Best orange juice and everyone will find something on the menu Good people watching!

I visit here everytime I am in town. The food is incredible for breakfast with an extensive menu. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. The best way to start your day :)

Now I totally understand why they are in the top 10... their breakfast is amazing not to mention the service... they really know how to take care of their customers...

Everything about this place is excellent. From the moment you walk up - first impression is it's going to be good. Greeted by a very cheerful host who sat us immediately asking where we preferred (there's an outdoor terrace area). Our waiter was absolutely delightful, making good recommendations and guiding us helpfully when we were a touch overwhelmed by the very comprehensive menu. Very attentive and on top of coffee refills. The food was excellent! I had the new potato skins with the fresh fruit - which was probably the best fruit salad I've ever had. I would go back here happily every day for breakfast if I could!

This is a perfect place for breakfast I had as always my strawberry pancakes and always so delicious, service always quick and friendly and coffee so gooood

The food is exceptional. Service is a bit slow but the food makes up for it. Great "scene" as well. It's best to use the valet parking because it's nearly impossible to find a spot on the neighboring streets.

Best breakfast place around. Honestly, I came in here because I was on my way to work and I do not regret it. It is delicious, great breakfast choices and amazing staff.

Based on reviews, we dropped in for some breakfast. The reviews were way off. Who gave this anything less than five stars? What? The chilaquiles, avocado toast, and stuffed french toast were incredible. It's a lot of food, BUT you can order a half-order of the stuffed french toast. DO IT. The Latte had a cute little panda on it. That panda tastes like caffeinated heaven. The orange juice is the best I have tasted outside of Japan. The waitstaff were all over us. You put your plate a little off to the side because you're about to go into a food coma and you don't want your face to hit the plate? The waitstaff are there to get that plate outta there! When you're hungry and you want something that brings some life to your taste buds, go here (and were some stretchy pants).

Was visiting LA for Halloween weekend and a friend wanted to visit this cafe. We sat outside and had lunch. The server was really helpful and the menu was full of different items to try. I recommend trying whatever you like because everything on the menu was pretty good. I had the ham & cheese croissant with home fries. Perfect!

I don't really recall this place as it was one of the first places we visited in our week in Cali, (each day visiting three different restaurants) I do remember the atmosphere - it was friendly, group gatherings kind of restaurant, they have great choices for breakfast and it won't break the bank, the weight staff is attentive and alert.

Four of us had breakfast at Toast yesterday. We were seated quickly on a Sunday morning with no reservation. The service was fine. Two of us had Omelets. They were fine, but nothing real special. My wife had the croissant French toast with sweetened sour cream and fruit. She loved it. Another had eggs bacon and potatoes with a side of French toast. He loved it. All-in-all, very nice, but not exceptional

Delicious breakfast, with pancakes that easily serve 3 people, lots of egg and bread options. Being very close to the Hollywood sign, great for those who want to take a photo up close.

Simply stunning! Delicious food, brilliant service and lovely surroundings. What more could you ask for. We loved it!
Good food, outdoor ambiance
A great place for lunch or breakfast, sandwitches, eggs, etc. It can be very crowded on the weekend and noisy inside, recommend sitting outside if you want a quiet meal so you can hear. They have heat lanterns.
