Visited this place for lunch, service was very fast and there was a vegetarian section. There was a wide variety of options and very tasty!

Tofu Villager serves a wide variety of Korean food. Spouse loves Korean food, and the many side dishes served with your meal allowed me to sample. The small whole fried fish was a nice surprise as a side. The Pan Fried Dumplings were delicious, stuffed with leeks, with a little fish taste from sharing the frying oil. Spouse enjoyed the Stir Pork Bul Bo Gi BBQ & Tofu soup combination. Service was quick for a busy Friday lunch. Refills on hot tea were nice. With your bill, you receive a tiny plastic bottle of a milk "soft drink". So much good food, we brought some home.

Me and my family dined here last night. We ordered BBQ short ribs thinking that we would be able to BBQ it ourselves. We selected/pointed at item #79 on the menu to the waitress. It was $19.99. When the food were brought out, the short-ribs were pre-cooked. We questioned and was told that we had to order minimum 2 to be able to Bbq ourselves. Alright, wish the ignorant server could have told us when we pointed at it. When we asked for an extra straw for my son, the same waitress slammed her hand on the table and said, quote "the baby will have little straw in his drink, you not need for him, OK?" Rude! Very rude. When the bill came out, they over charged the short-ribs. It was $29.99 instead of $19.99. The manager explained that because they used a different kind of cut so there were more meat for us. Well, shouldn't it be advised to the customers that "menu price depends on the cut of meat, which will be chosen by our own chefs. You will have no choice whatsoever."?? Don't come here, period! Overprice, rude service, and unsanitary.

Always in the favor of hot pot of spicy soup and rice. Love it, love it. You can control the level of spicy so challenge yourself to extream! I like the side dishes.

We were shopping in Houston Chinatown, where they are many, many restaurants to enjoy. We tried Tofu Village and were pleasantly surprised. Very good service and nicely prepared food. We had the Seafood soup, clam soup, and omelet/beef lunch platter for my son. All were very flavorful. What was great were the side dishes-'Kim chee, pickled seaweed, eggs, grilled fish , and other. All in all, a good and spicy meal!

I ordered tofu combo with Korean BBQ. Both tofu soup and the Korean BBQ came out sizzling hot and very tasty. I love their side dishes and little fish they provide also. My friend ordered the fried fish with spice sauce mixed with fresh vegetable on top. The fish was crispy and well seasoned and goes so well with their spice sauce on top. My new favorite Korean restaurant in this part of town. Price was very reasonable. Parking was little hectic but they have separate parking structure near the restaurant.

Checked this place out on a whim Friday night. Let's just say we'll definitely be back! Ordered the bbq items and the food came out quick, the portions are large, the service super friendly, and the pricing fairly reasonable. The tables aren't really structured for groups larger than 4 but we made it work with 5. We were in and out in an hour's time, and our bellies were full. Check this place out.

Very good Korean food with great service. The menu is pretty extensive, and the flavors are authentic. Pretty large seating area, though it can get crowded on the weekends. Parking in this strip mall can be crazy, but there are 2 parking garages that usually have spaces.

Tofu Village is located on off Corporate near Bellaire Blvd. We mostly eat the BiBamBahp dish because it is very tasty and is mostly vegetables. At the Korea House, it comes with SEVEN side dishes, Miso Soup, bown of white rice and be sure to order the complimentary Hot Barley Tea (pronounced Buddha Cha) all for $11. The decor is not great, but we usually go for the price, quality, quantity and quick service.

Friendly restaurant with a great selection. We went with a carnivore, a vegetarian and a vegan and all found plenty of delicious choices. They let you choose how spicy you want some of your dishes. Everything had a quality taste.

My first time eating Korean since I can remember. Wife and I both got teriyaki chicken lunch box. Not bad at all. I’d recommend as the service was also good. I ate more than expected.

Came back today with my daughter. I ordered the beef tofu soup with spicy chicken BBQ and my daughter ordered the kimchi beef tofu soup with beef bul-gogi (Korean bbq). First the service was fast and our waitress was nice. Even better the food was really good. The soup was very tasty and literally boiling hot (like it's supposed to be) and the spicy chicken and beef were delicious! There were lots of assorted small side dishes (banchan) and all of it were delicious. Last time the service and food were only good to border-line mediocre but today totally made up for it.

Full of surprises in Korean food...We tries the kimchi tofu, one of the favorites of the house. The Bugogi beef is a bit spicy but good. The staff would suggest you with a few of their specialties such as pan cake, marinated pork or octopus. I bet you will like this place if you like to try something different... The service is a bit above normal, and the place is clean...

I have to admit to enjoy this restaurant, always greeted with a smile. My better half also loves it here. We opted to dine here as the soups are always delicious. On this occasion i went for the seafood soup, so tasty, whilst my good lady went for the dumplings. To follow, I went for the short ribs, and my good lady ate the spicy pork. You can't go wrong here as the menu is so vast. As always, everything was very tasty. We will be back periodically.

I haven't been here for some time, but it was a pleasure to visit this restaurant again. It is extremely busy, with many different cultural people enjoying the incredible food, all so fresh too. Given the number of restaurants that surround this venue, slap bang in the middle of China Town, on Bellaire Blvd. The menu is awesome and whilst I don't know all the dishes available, I prefer to experiment and hope I choose wisely. Thankfully, I've made good choices each time. On this ocassion I had the kimchi soup, it's a little bit spicy and rich in flavor. It also comes with a good amount of tofu, and I really like it. We also ordered a wide variety of side dishes, including some fried fish. The seating area is a little cramped and it can get pretty noisy, and I would say the service is okay, but do remember this is an extremely busy restaurant, and the staff must get exhausted during their shift, I for one, would not wish to work here, solely as I would be run off my feet. Overall, the food here is good, and I know I will visit again at some point. There are just too many restaurants in this area to stick with just one. Note that parking at peak times is very difficult. Unfortunately, humans are lazy, they want to park as close to the restaurant they visit, which I understand but there is a multi story carpark a few minutes away. If only the developers or site owners had or would considere a shuttle bus from around Bellaire, it would make such a difference.

I went there with some friends that I used to had lunch in South Korea and I was surprised how authentic the restaurant was we all ordered #9 the mixed tofu soup and it was actually better than the one I temper having in korea it was only 10 with tip
Best in Bellaire
Second time that I have been here and it was as good as before. Authentic Korean food with a wide variety of foods on the menu. Oftentimes too many items to choose from usually means quality can be compromised but not here. The flavors are as the regular going customers will tell you, perfect, and the choice is varied to suit all tastes. The tofu soup was very good, indeed more tofu than I have ever had in other similar restaurants anywhere. Adding an egg was a nice touch and good fun for me. There were so many side dishes of vegetables that accompany a meal, that our table was overwhelmed, but my friends are used to it. Clearly this restaurant is extremely popular within the Korean community and I noticed many other ethnic groups eating at other tables, both young and older, which is a joy as it sends out a message to so many other people unused to this type of food. I will definitely be back again soon. Mind you, they could be a little quicker in getting all the ordered food to the table at the same time in future.
