Good service and decent burgers. This restaurant is a great place to people watch on the boardwalk. There was no wifi which was a bit annoying.

We stopped in during midday to grab something quick. The chicken wraps and quesadilla were fresh and hot. The fries were good. You have to get used to the loud music but it's a great quick eat on the promenade

If it weren't for the Coney Island pictures, I would have thought I'm in a hospital cafeteria. There's no ambiance here. The menu is very standard. Nothing special on it. My wrap was good and just that. My frozen drink which offers options of $10 house liquor or $14 premium liquor was a joke. It tasted like a virgin drink and it totally not worth it. Stick to beer or soda. I think the only reason to come here once is to say you were in Coney Island and had a drink here.

Frozen cocktails ($8) on the rooftop bar in the sun. A great place to just sit relax, enjoy the sun the view and the sounds of laughter and joy.

This restaurant is right on the boardwalk, and it overlooks the ocean, and the beach. Their French fries have the taste I ever find.

My favorite breakfast place on Sunday mornings! Attentive staff! Good coffee...don't have to wait for a refill! Easy atmosphere, great for people watching!

we were there in the evening and tried this place to have some snacks. Tried french fries with cheese, and milk shake with ice cream. Both were great, and quantity was good enough for 2-3 persons. I would recommend this place if you happen to be in this area.

I had lunch at Tom's Coney Island where I ordered a Bacon Cheese Burger that was okay, however, the service was slow and not good. My girlfriend who was with me did not get any water to begin with, only me, which seemed odd. We asked two different waiters before she had it served, and one of the waiters just shook his head when we asked for water. The location is good and the food okay, but that is really it.

Great beach location, attentive service and a handsome choice of breakfast options. A recommended place to charge the batteries for an afternoon in the amusement park.

Its a nice break from fast food if your in the area breakfast is pretty good, service is a little slow but the food is worth it. All in all it's good food at a decent price.

We had hoped some some proper American pancakes before heading to New York. We visited Appleby's in Time Square and boy were we disappointed. Having given up we headed for a day at the beach, Coney island. This was the first place we got to as we turned onto the boardwalk, so we gave it a try....and am I glad we did! I had chocolate chip Pancakes. Three massive ones in fact, with a big bottle of syrup to go with them. The prices were fair and the staff were fantastic. We spent 5 minutes putting the world to rights when it came to dissapointing pancakes! I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Visiting for the afternoon on Labor Day after strolling the boardwalk we pop in for drinks. We manage to get roof top seats with beach views. Three rounds of drinks and two fries was approx 41 dollars. 6 dollars a Bud bottle beer bit steep when central NYC 5 dollars but you pay for the location I guess and we were not too fussed. We thoroughly enjoyed catching the sun, sipping chilled beer and watching the works go by. Staff very friendly and made our afternoon. VIsited Mon 05/09/16 Labor Day YB Coney Island 2016

A nice hot sunny day middle of June. A great walk to the beach. A cold beer, cheese steak wrap and fries, dont think you can go wrong with that combination. This is our first time in Coney Island, out of all the restaurant on the boardwalk, i feel that Toms have the most space and tables. Good service and good food . Will come again.

After riding bikes to the boardwalk, and since we were hungry, it seemed the perfect place...food was very good..just sausage was cold..otherwise coffee, eggs, etc was tasty..would go back in the evening also..rooftop deck for adults...

Nothing bad to say about the food. We woke up early on a nice Saturday morning and ate breakfast here outside on the boardwalk. The service was so horrible I thought any minute someone was going to jump out and say it was a prank and Im on a television show. Another couple got up and walked out and the people next to us were complaining. I usually love tge place. Its expensive but its worth it if you get to sit and eat on the board walk.

This place is a great spot for lunch and your choices are great. If you visit, try their burgers you wont regret it.

The food tasted ok but wasn't really worth the price. The service wasn't much. We had to wait for a really long time for everything. We were about to leave when we finally got a waiter in the first place. Not good.

We only ordered a plain hot dog. There was nothing special about it. They did have fancy mustard. There was no line up compared to the neighbours.

Great food good service and sitting outside is a great view of the water. Also, great prices. Staff are very friendly.

It was only open bar near beach in february, so... Food was nice, service was SLOOOOW (even in lazy day), but nice. Although one thing was very bad - it was sunny day but they had shaded all windows so there was so bad, dark and not welcomy inside...

We had lunch here on a day visit to Coney Island. The veggie burgers were reasonable, the sodas very good. We drank a root beer float, cherry lime Ricky & a vanilla egg cream. Sitting outside gave us a great view of the boardwalk & pier and even though it was busy, the server didn't rush us, so we had plenty of time to watch the world go by. Overall, a decent family refuelling stop.

Went here for breakfast/lunch, servers hands were filthy, didn't notice until after check was presented. Food was below average and service was worse.

This place is right on the beachfront at Coney Island. There is a rooftop bar which looks out on the fun fair and the beach. It is for over 21's only and is a good place to sit and watch the world. Drinks are reasonably priced I had two beers and two bottles of water. Service was good and the staff were friendly.

This diner on the boardwalk has a fun rooftop with great music, food and frozen drinks! Watch people on rides at the surrounding amusements while you eat some great wraps, burgers, and sip on a strawberry daquiri. Fun for families, friends, and large groups. We had burger and fries here. The service was fast and food was good. They have amazing fries. It is right on the boardwalk and has good views of the ocean.

I took the Q down to Coney Island on a sunny day and walked along the boardwalk where I found this place, which looked like a fun stop for a meal. I ordered the all-day breakfast (two pancakes, two strips of bacon and two eggs) and when it came time to pour the syrup onto my pancakes the lid came off and flooded my plate. There was stunned silence and then laughter. I mean I like a lot of syrup but that was ridiculous. My plate was quickly replaced and the new bottle lid tightened. Tasty pancakes, great views, good service.

Just stopped by for a drink, loved it. My husband had a milkshake and I had a coke. There was enough for a mini milkshake so they brought me one too, so sweet. We ordered some fries with chilli, they were gorg! We loved it and wished we'd eaten there, great staff and atmosphere. A must in Coney Island.

Tom's take out does the job. This review relates specifically to the take-out counter experience - there's also a table dining option which may differ. It's not sophisticated, the menu is limited, it's not particularly cheap and service was not fast. It is however tasty, portions are generous, staff are nice and it is absolutely the thing I wanted. It was a hot day on Coney Island and we had no particular plan (a formula for a good day!). Getting peckish around midday and didn't fancy wasting time with table service. Tom's looked ok - no queue and a straightforward menu. The two kids serving were charming. We ordered cheeseburger and fries, which seemed an obvious choice. It took quite a long time, but we weren't in a hurry because we could hang out almost on the beach and take in the sun. Eventually it arrived packed in cardboard boxes and off we went to sit on the beach. We got ample ketchups and so on. Our expectations were quite low, because it looked like a tourist trap. However in terms of food quality Tom's was a direct hit. Fries were great, with a slight crispy outer coating. The burger was excellent. Done to perfection, full of taste and tender throughout. There are a lot of good burgers in NYC and this is right up there. Good work Tom's! This is not going to suit everyone. But if you want to get fed on the beach this is the place you are looking for.

This place is always crowded in Summertime. If you can get a seat try it! I had cocktails and hamburger. I also visited here for breakfast (Open year round) I ordered breakfast. I had the Eggs Benedict. It was pretty good.I liked the potatoes that this dish came with.

Nice place / clean restrooms / very accommodating for our large group / we sat on the roof and people watched.

We were looking for a nice air-conditioned place to sit down and enjoy a lunch. We were so glad we found Toms! The food is great & staff was very friendly. You can choose from outside or inside dining, we obviously sat inside as it was hot out and we were desperate for A/C. We both had the provolone burger & fries! Guys, this burger is AMAZING. Loaded with provolone cheese, caramelized onions, and a perfectly seasoned & seared hamburger patty. We also had to try "Tom's famous Cherry Lime Rickey" which is basically a sparkling cherry limeade and a refreshing tasty drink! Highly recommend you stop by Tom's on the boardwalk!

It's so great to have Tom's at Coney Island. You can always drop in for a hearty breakfast or diner lunch. Lots of good people watching while you enjoy your food.

Tom's on the boardwalk, is a great people watching location. The menu had a lot to choose from and was not overly priced considering the location. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. He gave me the history of the drink "Egg Cream" because I didn't know what it was. I ordered one and really liked it. All in all it was a fun experience and I would go back!

I came here one Saturday in October because the weather was so beautiful and I had never been to Coney Island before. After a stroll along the boardwalk I then made the regrettable decision to eat at Toms. What a mistake. The staff showed very little interest in the customers and spent most of time messing around joking with each other or gossiping at the end of the counter. The owner, who was sitting outside the entrance, would come in every ten minutes or so and shout at them to do something. After waiting 25 minutes for my food to arrive (there were only 3 other customers at that stage) I enquired as to it's whereabouts and was given a plate of stone cold food; cold fries, cold burger. It had obviously been left sitting in the kitchen while the staff were busy doing nothing. Not once was I offered an apology by the manager, Shawn. One of his female colleagues asked him what the problem was and he just muttered something about my food sitting around in the kitchen, looked at her, shrugged and walked off! I then overheard him instructing one of the Spanish speaking staff about something which was on the right hand side in the fridge, he kept repeating, "On the right, the right, the right" and then, sarcastically, "You do know what right is?" After struggling through my 'food' (which had since been microwaved) I requested the check from the waiter wearing the baseball cap, he clearly saw me but chose instead to completely ignore me and walk off to speak with people outside. I have never, ever, received such terrible service and would definitely not recommend patronising this establishment until they have had, more or less, a complete change of wait staff and the horrible manager has been moved on.

The menu is really limited so itās not a typical diner. Itās more like a bar that serves breakfast, burgers and wraps. There is a bar that serves the usual beers and drinks. My pancakes were good and my friendās omelette looked great. She enjoyed it and I loved her home fries. The service was good. Our waiter was fast, and courteous. Prices are fair. Food isnāt greasy.

Arrived at about 10:00 am on a beautiful late summer morning, and scored a table outside on the Boardwalk, still itself not quite awake. The Coney Island shore is to me still a beautiful and remarkable place, and is quite serene at that hour, even on a Saturday on a holiday weekend. The pancakes are fantastic, fresh and fluffy and filled (if you want) with fresh fruits and nuts. They even have special butters with apple chunks, strawberries, and other mix ins. Decent coffee. Good service. Like being on vacation without leaving.

We were seated, they took our order. Since the tap-water tastes like chlorine in the NY, we ordered sparkling water and were given soda-streamed tap water, we asked to get sparkling non-tap water, they didn't have it and simply just left our table. They served my food, and about 5-10 minutes later my girlfriend had to ask about her order, of which they had forgotten. We were served by 3 different waiters, I ate my burger and they took my plate before I had the chance to finish my salad. The only reason I gave a 2 instead of a 1, is the fact that my girlfriend could enjoy her meal, while mine had already gone cold.

Get there early if you want breakfast food. There is a bar on the rook with a nice view of the ocean. This is a nice place from AM to PM.

Great location on the boardwalk at 15th Street in Coney Island. Some seating with nice views of the beach & sea. Mostly breakfast food on the menu, pancakes, waffles, omelets, sausages, bacon as well as a few other items. The banana pancakes and mango pancakes were not very strong on these flavors and the coffee could best be described as colored water. The service was good even though I declined free coffee refills. Nothing really there to bring me back or recommend.

We stopped in for some shade and drinks while walking the boardwalk and this place looked fun enough and seemed busy. Had we just ordered drinks this review would have been 2 more stars, ordering food was a mistake and thus the full review. Good beer on tap, some local "Coney Island" selections which we tried, and some giant frozen margaritas which cooled us down nicely. Great view of the boardwalk, pier and people watching. We felt a bit hungry and the menu had some decent looking options so we placed an order. The chicken salad sandwich was canned chicken and ALOT of mayo, the burger looked like a McDonalds value menu patty, the hot dogs and buns looked pathetic, over-boiled and small. Just all across the board not what we were expecting. The fries were decent, so we all finished the fries and left half the mains. Service was okay, but not enough to save the food, we should have left after the drinks and just gone down to Nathans or some other burger joint.

I at Coney Island at Luna Park for my son's birthday in july it was so hot that we couldn't take the heat any more and need a cool place to eat and recharge before hitting the rides again. I heard about this place from friends who go there offen so I had to try it. The staff was so nice when we entered they saw that we were very hot and in need of water before we could order they gave us water and told us to relax before we did. I had ordered a spinich pie and greek salad, my kids ordered hamburgres and fries. We were told to take our time after we ate before heading back into the 90 degree weather. Its not offen people don't rush you out their door for the next person. It made our day will go back again soon.

Breakfast on the boardwalk. Not a bad deal. Reasonably priced and even though the service was a bit slow the meal was good. Would come back. Recommend

The first restaurant when you walk down from the metro station. It looked good online and it did not disappoint. Food was basic American fare but tasty and the service was prompt and polite. Great to see the world passing by as you eat, so a table near the front is preferable. My only concern was that drinks were a little expensive, but other than that a great seaside place to eat.

Toms is a nice restaurant, the menu is kind of limited but the food is good and the staff is very warm and friendly. The prices are pretty good and you can eat outside or inside. Eating outside is nice with all the activity going on on the boardwalk and the view of the beach is nice while eating.

Went for breakfast one morning and it's bigger and more spacious then the one on Washington ave but the service wasn't the greatest. The food was just as good. The view on the boardwalk and of the water is great and perfect for a summer day. It was cold the day we went so we were inside but I would go again.

I visited coney island solo and arrived way too early (silly australian tourist). I had 2 hours to kill so had drinks at the bar. There was an Italian manager/supervisor there with a name I can't spell/pronounce who was awesome and made me feel so welcome. I ended up quite drunk and left forgetting to thank/tip him and for that I apologise. I also forgot to get myself a little coney island souvenir. I had an awesome and memorable time.

Visited here on a sunny Sunday morning, and only had a bagel and coffee, but was welcomed as if ordering a banquet. Pleasant service and location, endless coffee, excellent value for money. I would recommend this without hesitation.

Went to Coney Island early in the morning to avoid the crowd and this is one of the few places that open before 9am. Had breakfast in the outdoor area with nice beach view. Food was decent with good service. A good spot to stop by and relax while you are on Coney Island.

We fully enjoyed a few nice milkshakes and an iced coffee here. Appreciated also the friendly and correct service!

I've eaten at both Brooklyn location, and never been disappointed with the food. My son and I stopped for breakfast and I've been there for brunch and lunch. Which always seem to have me sitting for at lease another 40-45 mins after eating. Can you say home made from mom or pap's, well I can. A early morning walk or run on the boardwalk (Coney Island) will lead you in the path of TOM'S. Even if your a health conscious they have something for that too. So visiting NYC, it should be one of the foodie stop on your menu travelers. Comfort Food, enjoy.

Food was very simple. Ok, but not great. Expensive for what it was, around 15$ for a wrap and fries. I was very impressed by the quantity of staff present on the site.

We only tried the hotdogs here because it's famous for hotdogs. We're ok nothing special but great atmosphere and let's face it what else do you do but eat hotdogs while walking along the broad walk of Coney Island

The only good thing of this restaurant is the location, the food (burger) was terrible and the staff was very rude and they were all the time with their cellular without taking attention to the costumers.

We had a great lunch here! Friendly and fast service and food was good too. They have a large menu where to choose from.

I donāt have something else to compare to in Coney Island, but I think the food is not so good here. The price/quality report is not a good one.

Toms is typical Boardwalk restaurant. The atmosphere is ok and the food was good. The beer was really cold and great on a very hot summers day in July. I found it interesting that they have a take out counter to the right where you can order beers, frozen drinks and the like. They will even pour into plastic cups for you so you can walk the boardwalk with it.

It's taken years for us to actually have a diner in Coney Island and what a location!! On the boardwalk steps from the beach, the food is very decent and the coffee average. If you want or expect Starbucks, this ain't it. Terrific breakfast and basic American fare. Service was pretty good, the bathrooms clean and you can even purchase a Tom's T-shirt! I love the re-gentrification of Coney Island. Hoping they don't get too hipster or start pushing us out.

We loved this place!! we waited a short while for a table as it was so busy but the host was great and our waitress even better. The food was delicious, we had a wrap and a burger. I had a Pepsi float, the waitress brought extra Pepsi to top it up as the ice cream melted. The fries were gorgeous, light and fluffy, coated in some kind of batter. We liked the vibe too, with 90's grunge/rock playing in the background. A great lunch time treat away from the hustle of Coney Island's magnificent Boardwalk!!

Food is average at best but environment is fun and lively. Service is not as engaging for a tourist community and they could take some queues to improve revenue. Rooftop deck looks lovely so be sure to challenge them when they say food isn't an option there. They open it up as overflow eventually. Good stopping spot but there are better options.

Great place for breakfast on the boardwalk. Simple clean just right. Go early and on a weekday. Easier to find a spot nearby.

Tom's in Coney Island is right on the boardwalk and has many of the items from the original restaurant with nice size portions. Although it's not gourmet, it's classic. They offer iconic Brooklyn items like egg creams and lime-Rickey's. Eat upstairs for a nice breeze and great view. We will definitely go back there when on the boardwalk.

The staff, although friendly was very unprofessional. The menus are dirty. And they had barely any drinks menus. Beer cost $7 a declarat they have a wide variety of it. For cocktails service was incredibly slow. The overall atmosphere isn't too nice either. The reason I gave 3 stars is that the view is quite nice, especially when sunset is approaching. I imagine it must be good at sunrise as well if open. Overall, all the restaurants around seemed to be quite similar, except for they lacked a rooftop so this is probably the best choice if you visit Coney island.

You can never get bored at any place in coney island on the boardwalk especially while it's the season.. people come and go do so getting a seat outside is pretty easy.. they also have an up stairs.. The food is good.. burger and fries, typical boardwalk food.. I feel like it's a little over priced but what can ya do l..

The food is beach food: burgers, fries and onion rings, with plenty of beers to choose from. Portions are large. It's popular, and a good alternative to Nathan's. Why only an average rating? Kind of dirty and loud, and service was slow. OTOH, it's an institution.

Took my family here when we came to visit Historic Coney Island, we stopped by and found good food, good portions, and good prices. The staff was very friendly and understanding with our group. Would recommend here to everyone.

Absolutely appalling, I ordered a fish sandwich $20, it was a 2mm single slice of crumbed fish on the driest supermarket bun, that's it, no dressing, no salad. nothing. Wife had the cheeseburger $20, same thing, thinnest patty, slice cheese on again a dry bun, no relish, no tomato, no salad at all. Server asking if everything was OK and I had to say that it wasn't, they apologised, and agreed that it wasn't up to acceptable standard. they said they had complained about the standards but that's the way they had been told to serve everything now to save costs. We left most of it.. Funny thing is the waitress, asked if we wanted a bag to go, I knew she new our answer by the wry smile on her face. We went to Toms a few times just 3 years ago, and the standard was amazing, sadly that's not the case now.

I went to Tom's to enjoy a few drinks and dinner with family. The man that was the host this evening was very rude and arrogant. We simply asked questions about the menu and expected wait time, and he said that "It's been a long day and I don't want to deal with you." I turned around and said excuse me but I don't want to deal with you. This was a terrible experience and I will never go to Tom's again. If you don't like to "deal" with customers, you shouldn't be working in the service industry.

enter the boardwalk toms restaurant 11:45am. got a seat very quickly, maybe me happy because I had my 3 year old with me and my wife. the guy in the front put us at a table(#9) and that was it. It took almost 20 minuets before anyone notice that we were sitting there. mind you it was a table outside right in front the door everyone has to walk in and out of every ten seconds, also mind you I do have a 3 year old with me. after 20mins the water boy notice us sitting in the heat and he brought us water and menus he also said he was sorry for us waiting so long. about another 20mins a waiter/comedian came. he had a lot of jokes to make us smile. after he took our order with all the jokes, that was it. he disappeared never to be seen again. FINALLY one hour later our food comes, with no hot dog for my son, also with a different waiter and when I asked him he didn't know so he apologize, and another 10mins the hot dog arrives cold. such bad experience and a crying 3 year old. 1 hour and half. meanwhile the whole time 10s of people came after us and got everything way before us. TABLE 09, waiter ARMANDO. THANKS..

Very disappointed in the food at this rest. I thought it was going to be a twin of the tiny Tom's restaurant on Washington street but it has a limited menu with horrible food. Never again. The only reason it got 2 stars was we were seated promptly & the staff is nice. Please get a new chef.

Went for break from sightseeing to see an American icon. Not much open at this time of year but a nice walk on the boardwalk. Stopped here for a beer (or two) and cup of tea. Lovely staff there. Great laugh!

We spent Labor Day 2016 here and had a fab time so was on our list for our 2017 trip. Glorious sunshine and we managed to catch a spot on the roof for a few hours. Few rounds of beers and a late lunch. Four rounds of beers and two turkey burgers $74. Turkey burgers were delicious as were the fries. Another Labor Day and another memorable day in the sun, drinks and watching the world go by. Visited 4th Sept YB NYC Labor Day Coney Island

Needed to get out of the heat on a hot July Sunday afternoon and get something to eat. Sat inside at Tomās. Nice and cool. Friendly service from the waiter, who recommended the Brooklyn Wrap (with brisket and gravy). The wrap was good, as was the chili cheeseburger. I didnāt care for the āfamousā Cherry Lime Rickey but my daughter liked it and traded me her āfamousā chocolate egg cream, which I enjoyed. Bathrooms were basic and old but clean. Was a good stop to get us cooled down and fueled and rested for more rides!

Was it the most amazing food I ever ate? Not quite. But if you're looking for a good burger, fries, and some AC, Tom's hits the spot. We had three small kids in tow when we visited, and our server was really accommodating. Would visit again!

I went with two friends for breakfast. My French toast came out the way I like it......well done.....and I didn't even tell them how I wanted it cooked. My friend had the Danish French Toast. I tasted it was delicious! Her husband had eggs. Next time I'll order that. The coffee was excellent...delicious brew. I know Tom's father Perry from Perry's Restaurant. Too bad they both weren't there. I would have liked to meet Tom and see Perry. I will definitely go back again.

Tom's Coney Island is about what you expect when eating at Coney Island. It has a great location and you really feel part of the scene. But we are not talking gourmet cooking here. They make great burgers, wraps and fries, but they are pricey, but that is because of the location. The shakes are very average. I was expecting a better shake but it didn't have much of a flavor and it was a very average size. I'm glad I ate here but would not feel compelled to eat there again.

I'm a native New Yorker and went to Columbia University where the original Tom's Diner is, the place where the Seinfeld crew always meet. That is an ok diner, but fine for a low expectations meal. This Tom's chain at Coney Island is not fine for a meal. It has a very limited menu, not the standard diner complete menu. The burger I ordered medium rare was almost uncooked and terrible. Prices are expensive. It is a tourist trap. Having said that, the location is what it is all about. Right on the boardwalk, enjoy the views of the ocean and watch the people. Get a beverage and enjoy the view. And then wait on line at Nathan's, which is really the only place to eat in Coney Island and you should be ashamed of yourself if you do not go there when in Coney Island. Raw clams are surprisingly good, and of course the hot dogs and fries...

Popped into Toms when we visited Coney Island on the first Monday of our holiday. We just wanted a coffee and they just kept topping up the cups. Music was good rock & eventually cafe began to get more customers.

Choose this place because of the available inside seating on a hot day. Ordered drinks and then realized it was almost 30 minutes before they served lunch (12:00) . Not wanting breakfast, we offered to pay for our sodas and go somewhere else - the waitress went and checked and and said the kitchen would start lunch if we could wait 10 minutes or so - which we said was fine. After 15 minutes, the waitress came to take our lunch order and realized we never had received a lunch menu - got them and was a little shocked to see the prices. my son ordered a $15 chicken quesadilla - a common item for him, but have never paid that much for one. My cheeseburger and fries was $13. Food was OK, but it hurt walking out and seeing could have gotten similar food at other places for about halfthe price.

Stopped in here for breakfast on a Sunday while walking on the boardwalk -- the food was very good and reasonably priced. The service was excellent -- very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come in again!

Great view from the rooftop bar and good American cuisine - hamburgers and fries makes this place worth visiting. You can get great pics of Coney Island Amusement Park and Beach from on top.

Relaxing stop for a couple of great beers, sitting by the sea on a sunny day at Coney Island. The rest is superfluous...

We were there for breakfast and were treated excellent. The food was very good and the waiters were very polite and professional. Will definitely come back š

This is one of the first places you come to off the metro. We were hungry so went straight in. Service was quick, not very personal but very quick and efficient. I had Tom's wrap which came with fries which was delicious. My daughter had vegetarian burger which was ok but a little disappointing. As in lots of places vegetarian burgers are not always that tasty, just a brought in mass produced burger I guess. But it was ok. Fries are lovely. Their cherry lemonade is really good. Would definitely recommend this place. Also atmosphere is good, playing good music when we went.

We spotted this place while walking along the boardwalk at Coney Island. The prices are expensive, but you're at Coney Island. We both had a wrap, though, the burgers looked really good at others' tables. I had the texas wrap which was incredibly good. The bbq sauce on it was definitely the star. The fries were really good as well. My bf got a cherry lime rickey and he couldn't stop raving about it. He also inhaled the roast beef wrap that he got. We were very happy with the food and service! There is also rooftop seating! Worth a try.

I know it's not 'season' yet for the boardwalk on Coney Island to be busy yet but went anyway just to take in some fresh air. The only really place open was Tom's and decided to go in with my family. The place was clean, and although it was empty the server was not fully attentive, the food tasted like frozen plastic food, there was dust all over the window sills and fans, bathrooms had no hot(not even warm) water and was extremely overpriced. If you do have to go here like I did, stick to eating vegetarian items and I guess you can't go wrong with a beer. Once the summer months are upon us there will be more options but I know I will never step foot in Tom's restaurant again!!
Best burgers and sweet potato fries at Coney Island
Seeing Tom's at Coney Island. I knew this was a place I could trust. The staff was friendly as usual, and the food was awesome. Cheeses burgers were good and the sweet potato fries were off the charts. The Coney Island Lager was the right choice to top of the meal.
