Fully legit. do not miss it.

By Harrison W |

A friend took me here when I visited New York and it blew me away. A Taqueria attached to a soft taco factory. You eat in the factory so don't expect a quiet meal, you will almost certainly have the loud sounds of factory machinery going in your ear the whole time but this only adds to the great atmosphere. You have to write down your order so the man at the till can understand you (very little English is spoken here) but again, this is a great and in no way hinders the service. I can't speak highly enough of the great taste and great times I had here. Everything is very cheap and I would never miss it on another trip to NYC now that I know it is there.

OH MY

By Frank P |

No better mexican food. It is actually a tortilla factory. Interesting to see the operation. The food is outstanding. Very fresh everything made to order. DO NOT be put off by appearance the food is amazing.

I still dream about these tacos.

I used to live down the street from this place, and I miss it so much. I'm currently in SEAsia, and I'm still thinking about it. I'd go there alone, I'd bring my friends here, I'd pick them up on my way home from work. Fresh, delicious and cheap, my stomach growls just thinking about this place. they even have a tortilla making factory attached to the little restaurant bit. This was the first place I ate when I moved to Brooklyn, and whenever I fly home to Brooklyn, I go here. It's not a trip to BK for me until I get one of these in my belly. A taco from here with an orange Jarritos? My fav. Absolutely love!

Tacos in the Hood!!!!

By Envynel |

I have tried the best tacos in Mexico City so when I try mexican food am very picky, So when a friend recommended this place I needed to visit the hood . The menu very simple tacos, quesadillas, tostadas, and tortas(sandwich) And quesadilla is the champion they got it right flavors, ingredients was near perfection the other choices was G😃😉d but those quesadilla had me coming back. Location in the hood, no fine dinning here . You sit in a garage with mix match chairs and table no waiters or waitress you just wait until they scream your name. Highly recommend! Love it! My friends love it! And New York Times wrote a great article of the place.

Slowly Fashioned incredibly Mexican Food

By Bexx802 |

No frills, be patient and enjoy. The best value/quality for Mexican in the North East. $1.50 taquitos each made to order with fresh ingredients.

Great vaule mexican food

By Trashcollector |

I didn't know this kind of price/quality exists in new York state area. The tacos tasted very authentic. The salad and meat were really top quality. The sauce was great too. At 2.5 dollars per taco, I can't find anything cheaper in NY. The torta was also very tasty. The sauce was extra hot just the way I like it.

Good food but poor staff communication

By Meha V |

We had good food but dealing with staff while paying the bill was a pain. The guy on the counter charged us double and he could not talk in english and then we had to call the woman who cooked to explain exactly what we ordered.

Cheap & Cheerful but not delicious

By Dany L |

For sure the price is right, portions generous and it's certainly authentic. However I found the chicken and pork tacos almost indistinguishable from one another. The meat is just too stringy and the spices/sauces not strong enough to cover up for the texture of the meat. Yes it hit the spot but it was not memorable in any way and I would never go out of my way to track it down. It was 5 min from the AirBnB I was at.

Great Tacos

Ate three different delicious Tacos. Really worth a visit! Ambiente with the fresh production in the background is really cool! Will visit it again!

Freshly made corn tortillas

By Rebecca O |

We went here and tried almost everything! We had the three tacos ($9) with Steak, chicken, carnitas. Then we had the 3 taquitos which we picked the steak, salted beef, and spicy pork. We also tried the the tostada with steak ($3), quesadilla with spicy pork ($5), picadas with carnitas ($5). Plus, to drink we had the Jarritos Tamarind ($2) and Sangria Senorial. The taquitos are basically just really small tacos so unless you don't have much of an appetite or just want to try different meats then I would get the larger tacos. The tortillas are made fresh to order. They are all corn tortillas. The taquitos had these small tortillas that were really cute. the quesadilla took longer to make but they made the tortilla fresh and it was larger. These are the unique items that I wold suggest even though they are a little more...they are more filling though so worth the extra money. The picadas had a thicker larger tortilla and looked like a tostada. The tostada was the regular corn tortilla but fried and with beans. What I liked the best were the picadas and the tostada. Both with the steak. I didn't care for the Tamarind soda but I liked the Sangria (non alcoholic).

Best tacos in Bushwick

By nikusam |

A great fun restaurant inside a tortillas factory. Bo Bottle! Super good tacos and many other Mexican classics

nothing special

By Nedelka M |

We were in the neighborhood and decided to stop here for lunch. The tacos were nicely presented. The taste... well, not to our standard. We ordered 6 taquitos. They were chicken and spicy pork taquitos. We found not special. There was no taste. On the positive side, they weren’t greasy, the vegetable were fresh; the price cheap.

Homemade Tortillas

By pascalk1600 |

Restaurant linked to the family tortilla factory. Besides, you will eat close to manufacturing and stock. The order is placed on a paper at the counter, count 11 dollars for 3 tacos. We will then bring you the order. Fresh and good products. Visiting the street art districts is very pleasant, with the added bonus of a thrift store to discover.

Great experience

By Maxime J |

Great restaurant, in the heart of the Bushwick district and its famous street art, tacos and taquitos are really great. I strongly Trip Tip you. PS: Pay attention to sauces available at the table that are very spiced.

Best cheap tacos in the area!

By Kate Davis |

For the past 2 years, this place has been a consistent favorite of mine in Bushwick. Every time I’m in the neighborhood, I make it a point to stop by and grab something—it’s a must. And with it being a tortilla factory, you can’t beat the freshness! It’s always a reliable and satisfying choice.

Authentic Taco Warehouse in Bushwick

By Daniel M |

I love this place. Don't be fooled by the industrial/abandoned garage look of this place. Instead, indulge yourself in a spicy pork taco or a chorizo quesadilla, and your mind will be blown. Everything here is authentic, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick. One of the best taquerias in NYC!

Tostadas yummy

By Mandeep H |

The food was really good. My bf ordered two tostadas so crispy and yummy. Cash only Little place but great foddd

Absolutely the Best Tacos in New York

By Nazary Nebeluk |

Holy guacamole. Just go here. Don't ask questions. It's worth a trip out to Bushwick just for these tacos. This is such an unpretentious delicious restaurant. It's not fine dining and is quick but it's so satisfying. They're known for their tacos but I also recommend a quesadilla. It's also BYOB so take advantage of the $2 beers in the delis nearby.

No frills needed!!

By Bombero124 |

It's basic simple Mexican style food and very good. It's not glamorous and doesn't need it. Mix of people come here for great tacos.

Nothing Else Like It

By Simeon B |

Certainly 'no frills' basic experience, but you can't argue with the quality of the food. I had a taco and a tostado, both were fantastic. I have eaten a lot of tacos since in hope of recreating the experience but nowhere has had firstly the unique setting or the freshness of the great tasting food.

Amazing Value - Delicious!

By VTJedi |

We saw this place featured on an episode of Anthony Bourdaine's Outer Boroughs of NYC Food Tour. For less than $15 we had 2 quesadillas, a taco, tostada, and 2 mexican sodas proving to be one of the most inexpensive lunches on our trip to NYC. It's less than 1 block away from the Jefferson Street L train stop. A great find and really authentic. The place is a tortilla factory and they bring out fresh tortillas from the factory to the restaurant side which is more like an indoor food truck.

Incredible Mexican food at great price!

By Tom H |

Absolutely amazing authentic Mexican place. Spicy pork taco and steak quesadilla are particular highlights. Really good value for money, and quick service. We keep going back because it tastes so good!

Yummy Tacos

Dropped by to have dinner with family. Not your usual restaurant. You are allowed to bring your own drinks. Loved the food!

no flavor

Am I back home?

By Eddie G |

Walking past this gem, a blue light illuminated the sidewalk that caused me to backtrack. Took a brief glance at the menu, saw vegetarian options, walked in. The place was awesomeley lit. Friendly (although reserved) staff greeting me with a smile and nod. I wasn't sure how the ordering process went at first, you write down your order on available pen and paper, and then hand it to them. The smell, the food, and of course a prominent La Virgín de Guadalupe shrine reminded me of being at my tio Ramiro's mexican restaurant just south of downtown San Antonio. The food was simple and delicious. Something that I always have trouble finding up here, everyone wants to dress their tostadas and tacos to the brim with all these kitsch items. This place has made my list of places to stop and grab a bite to eat whenever in Brooklyn.

If you are a tortilleria, you have to have tacos, these are legit

By elena_deanda |

I found this on my way to a friend's show in Brooklyn. It was great, no fuss, just true genuine tacos. Bring your beer, the laid-back ambiance is oh-so-Brooks.

LOVED IT!

By mink45 |

I'm not really understanding what the negatives are for their food. I think the vibe, food and service are awesome. This was my first visit and the ordering system surprised me a bit, so make sure to use the note cards at the counter to write your name and order! I got the steak tostadas, pork taco and spicy pork taquito, all were fresh and delicious, I agree that some of the meat was a little bland but that's preference and there's plenty of salt on the counter if you need it. Bottom-line: The place seems to crank out their own tortillas which is cool, I like the cafeteria seating in their garage, communal tables and byob. I would TOTALLY come back, hell I'd eat here daily if it was so damn far from Queens lol

Cute place

By Sarah L |

A cute little place if you just need a quick bite. The tacos are good, they come on a paper plate so it's a very informal place. The tortillas are different to any I've had before but the meat is great. Overall it's a good little place and very cheap too!

It's a Tortilla Factory

By vagabondginger |

Anthony Bourdain said they were the best tacos he had in New York, simple, unpretentious Mexican street style tacos. But it is a tortilla factory, unfortunately the enormous machine in the back was not running while I was there. At the counter I grabbed an index card and wrote what I wanted from the menu posted and paid $3 cash for my order to be freshly made. I took the tin foil wrapped taco outside to eat wishing I would have brought a beer with me, that is allowed here. No frills but one of those kind of authentic places worth coming to.

Fast and very cheap

By Jérôme D |

Typical place. Very good value for Award. We eat in the noise, but what a spectacle. The machine delivers the tortillas you have on the plate. Very fresh and typical.

Great authentic food

By Marty J |

Food was just like I would get at home! Fantastic! Quick service, you can see and smell the fresh tortillas as they are making them. Can't go wrong

Authentic Mexican food and great price, can't beat it. Came here for lunch on New Year's Eve staff was friendly and attentive despite the crowd, even had free margaritas available.
