I was there for drinks before a dinner nearby. The bar is very small and a bit cramped. There are mostly just seats at the bar with little seating at a table so not conducive for socializing. I'd pass on it. I can't speak to the restaurant menu.

Toscanova is an excellent italian restaurant in the middle of Beverly Hills, very close to the Peninsula Hotel! The food we ate was really good, I had a pizza and one beef carpacio! The atmosphere on the terrace is very nice also, especially in the night :)

Toscanova is a nice restaurant with a very nice terrace and if the weather is good as was the case when we had lunch there it is a very pleasant experience. The food was reasonably good and very reasonably priced.

I had the Salmon and it was only OK, a little dry. I did have the Polipo E Patate (Octopi with potatoes) and it was very good. My son had the Burrata Bell Peppe and said it was good. Service OK. Nothing super wrong but I expected more.

I dined here for the first time. The atmosphere was nice and low key with minimal chatter and noise. Loved the fact that they were playing some old school R&B music in the background. I had the bass followed by a chocolate soufflé. Both were enjoyable and a reasonably portioned.

Excellent Italian food. We started with a cauliflower soup and followed with pasta and summer truffles. Everything perfect and had no place for dessert. Noisy inside so better to sit outside if it is not too hot.

Are here with a group of business colleagues recently. We had quite a large party and the team looked after us pretty attentively. While the atmosphere was fine I thought the food was a bit of a let down. The menu was relatively limited and what we ordered was actually quite bland which was a surprise as I had read other reviews which really raved about the quality of the food. Overall the visit was ok but I would probably try elsewhere next time.

Very consistent, solid restaurant. The truffle risotto is mine blowing. Service is warm and welcoming.

Let me start off by saying that I NEVER go on any site to write a bad review but this one had to be said. I do want to give high praise to the chef, the food was amazing. Let me tell you about the service and manager.... I was there for a quick bite with my family of 4. We are always very appreciative of the service industry having been in the restaurant and event planning business our whole lives. We understand things happen and we also understand that the customer always comes first and even if we don't agree, is always right! Your service and reputation can ruin you even if the food is amazing. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated next to the bus station, not great but we should get great service right?...wrong. Someone came and offered us still or sparkling water. We ordered still (thinking we were getting just regular water) he served us a $7 bottle of water. We accepted it even if we didn't care about a $7 bottle of water. He poured our glasses then took the bottle with him. He came back later to re-pour our water with a brand new bottle. We ordered our food and had a couple rounds of cocktails. We also pre-ordered something to go. We got our food and loved it. Our waiter never returned to our table once we were served, dishes were never cleared. We asked for salt and pepper and got the little packets, which I know is because of COVID however, we saw the server go and grind pepper for others. We also saw the manager go and speak to almost every table but ours. The bill came, but our to go order was never brought to us. We asked about it and the server not only gave us attitude about it but then came back with the order on a plate, not to go. By then we were done with the poor service and rejected the order. We also noticed that they had charged us for 2 bottles of water even though we only received 1.5 bottles. We asked to speak to the manager and we watched the server go to him and he kept looking our way but never came over to us. Now, we don't care about a $7 bottle of water on a $150 check but we do care about getting what you pay for and customer service. We sat waiting for him for at least 15 minutes watching him go to many other tables to "chat" or take an order. I finally got up and went inside where he was behind the counter. This is where it turned into a horrible experience... Without even a greeting, he turned around and started yelling, yes yelling, at me in Italian. I couldn't believe it...I said "English Please" and he continued to yell at me in English without taking a breath. I told him that this was no way to treat a customer and he started yelling that his staff would never remove a bottle unless it was empty and they had worked for him for 20 years and the water was from Italy and expensive (yes you can buy it at Trader Joes as well as Italy). I asked him if he was calling me a liar and he said yes. I NEVER lose it in public but I found myself yelling over him just to be heard. He told me to leave his restaurant and never come back. I told him I would be writing this review and he told me he didn't care about my review and to get out. I turned to his kitchen staff (open kitchen) and told them they did an amazing job and the food was great but their boss was an AH. Again, something I never do. I was horrified at this encounter over a $7 bottle of water. The arrogance and unprofessionalism was disgusting and I'm hoping the owners of this restaurant care enough about their customers to fire this manager. (9/20/20 around 1pm)

Very very pricey but very worth it. Its in the mall and its very upscale dining. The service was wonderful. Every corner you looked at there was someone there ready to assist. There pasta was delish and omg there steak was amazing. So tender. They have a Florentina steak which is for 2 and it is delish!! They have a kids menu too if youve got kids and there kids penne with the tomatoe sauce was very good. You can grab an amazing dinner, do some shopping and catch a movie because of where its located. And they have a very nice wine selection. Theres also outside seating with heaters. If your in the area it is a must!!

In Century City Mall, which is undergoing a massive renovation. Valet parking. Extensive menu of Italian food, with excellent service. Save room for dessert. Outdoor patio seating available.

For a restaurant in a mall, the food is quite good and the service was top-notch. It is a high end Italian place, it is pricey, but it is a good option for a sit-down meal in Century City. The salads and pizzas are great.

Whilst visiting Westfields, we decided to sit down & eat lunch. Toscanova was where we chose to eat. It was a really nice day so we sat outside. Service was OK, our waitress was a bit moody but when we engaged her in conversation she lightened up a bit. I ordered the mushroom pizza & my partner ordered the mushroom risotto. It took a while to arrive & we were served stale bread whilst we waited - usually served with olive oil &b balsamic vinegar - but not on this occasion - just stale (maybe americans do it differently?). My pizza was really nice & tasty. My partners risotto wasn't very hot (warm-ish) & was without flavour. No better or worse than any other Italian. Hence the mixed review. I cleared my plate - he did not.

We had a large reserved table in a room at the back of restaurant - nice setting and great food. We started with margharita pizza slices as an appetizer - really good. The Sonoma Cabernet was a nice pairing with everything. I had the eggplant parm; absolutely outstanding dish! (This was apparently an old mentor’s favorite; we were celebrating his life at this meal). Luca was an outstanding server (and he speaks Swiss Romansh, from the Grisons region; a true rarity!). This place is a real gem.

Stopped in at Toscanova for lunch and ordered one of the lunch specials of the day: Linguine with Clams and Broccoli. It was OK but not out of the ordinary. I must say the linguine was cooked perfectly. I opted to sit at the bar - and a fellow patron swears by the pizza at Toscanova. It looked fantastic - I'll have to go back and try it next time. A very good selection of wines by the glass.

This is a wonderful mall-based Italian restaurant where you can sit and dine al fresco or choose to eat inside with air-conditioning. We chose to stay outside and I had the tuna salad, my wife had the Mediterranean salad and my daughter chose the Carrot & Ginger soup. All three dishes were excellent, the table and seating most comfortable and the waiters and waitresses were just charming. We were new in town and they made us feel so welcome. Will definitely be back again. As we were eating, we noticed Jay Leno leaving the restaurant clad in his trademark denim shirt and jeans - I guess if he likes it, then they're doing something right.

I visited this restaurant when the main area was closed for a very large and very loud private party (baby shower). At other restaurants, when competing with a large party, I've found the service to be lacking. Not here! We weren't ignored and found the staff still very attentive. The food was very good. I would come here agian.

When I am in the Century City Mall, I almost always go to GulfStream, fantastic restaurant. Across the way from it and from Rock Sugar is Toscanova. I had never tried it but we went in and sat inside. The decor and ambiance was quite nice. The restaurant seemed very clean. We had a delightful waitress named Carla from Rome, she was quite fun. The salads were very good and very big. We then ordered a pasta with truffles and a Risotto. They too were very good but also large portions. We could have shared but we brought the Risotto home and I am sure will enjoy it soon. It is a nice place. It has a full bar if you want that and a great menu. We will definitely be doing back and it may well become one of our go to places!

We shared appetizers and they were delicious, but my son ordered the seafood salad he saw from another table and It sounded perfect for a hot sunny day outside. Nice quantity and assortment, but each bite tasted exactly the same. It was over frisée salad and cherry tomatoes so there was no where to go. The squid, the shrimp, the octopus and almost the mussels exactly the same taste. My son asked for more lemon, but the problem was the seafood which tasted like absolutely nothing. Disappointed. But the tiramisu was delicious.

We come here at least once a week. We can sit indoors or on their lovely patio. Their daily specials are always interesting. The last time we visited, we both had the cioppino. It was delicious and full of tender fish and shell fish. They usually have an interesting fish dish on the special menu and we have not been disappointed. Brunch here is also good with very we'll made omelets.

I visited Toscana during a business lunch. Our food was terrific. The salads were great. The service seemed a bit lacking, as our drinks were not filled. The outside seating was nice, clean and relaxing. I would go again. The Westfield valet is convenient for visiting this establishment because the restaurant is above the stairs.

For a restaurant in a mall, Toscanova isn't bad. The food is about average, but the service was great. Very crowded restaurant, and noisy.

If you’re in the mood for reliable Tuscan Italian fare, this fills the bill. Good brick oven pizza, a nice mushroom risotto & wines by the glass make this casual dinner spot a good choice for a meal while shopping. Sit at the bar for faster service. Bread served with EVOO & Balsamic up front. We like this spot!

The welcome was very hospitable and warm. The food, from our Italian waiter, Marco, just got better and better. The portions of the appetizers are so plentiful that they would easily serve 2. All was more than expected with a GREAT wine list.

they don't have the best pizza but the food is cool.. and it goes all evening on the weeknights.. Bravo!

My first impression by the service is that people are very kind, they recommend us what fish to eat and some starters. Ceaser salad was amazing after asking for some extra dressing, pizza Margherita was very tasteful as well. The white fish with lemon was completely amazing, very fresh and tasteful. Linguini bolognese was good as well. I would highly recommend this place if you want to have a very good meal.

We've been looking for a place to have a lunch while driving to Rodeo Drive. Since there were no decent restaurants on the street we've ended up in this shopping mall and this restaurant. The décor looked nice and the customers looked very posh. But this is where good experience ended. The service was really sloppy, the waiter couldn't advise on anything and didn't communicate well. The house salads were pretty basic, just green leaves. The roasted chicken dish was not accompanied with any vegetables, only potatoes. Seafood risotto was really a rice with tomato sauce with a couple of mussels and tasted yucky. For our lunch - one appetizer, one glass of wine and 3 main dishes we've paid 120 USD.

My wife and I visited Toscanova, in the Westfield mall, on a recent trip to LA. We were seated promptly in the outside seating area, even though the restaurant was very busy. We were asked if we would like a glass of water each, which we accepted, but the waiter never asked if we would like to look at the wine list. The menus we were given did not include a drinks list. At this point we began to notice that the waiting staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed by the amount of work they were doing. We were given food that was for a couple sitting at another table, and later, another waiter brought drinks to our table which we hadn't ordered. We also noticed a few guests, at tables around us, complaining to the waiters about wrong orders. Having said that, our meals of lasagne and tagliatelle bolognese were extremely tasty and very enjoyable. I just feel that the evening would have been better if the service around us had not appeared so manic, which would have led to a more relaxed dining experience.

This restaurant is located in an outdoor indoor mall. I was with two work colleagues who work nearby.i The server was very good and professional making strong food and wine recommendations. We started with fried calamari, meatballs, and tomato with mozzarella. All the appetizers were very good and my favorite was the fried calamari. My entree was a thin fettuccine pasta with scallops. This dish was very good without them filling like most fettuccine dishes I highly recommend this restaurant if you want great food and service at reasonable prices.

My husband and I frequent this restaurant about once a week. The service is very good and we are always welcomed graciously. There are some dishes that we could highly recommend. Their octopus and potato appetizer is excellent. All of their pizzas are very good and have a nice crispy thin crust. The chicken Diavolo is another good choice. I always look at the fish of the day which is usually well prepared. One of my favorites is the lasagna which they always have on Sundays and sometimes, during the week, if it is not sold out. Its the best in Los Angeles and that is saying something. It is particularly good if you are going to the movies in Century City. but any time is good. Highly recommended for a good down home meal.

This is one of the best Italian food I have ever had. The food was delicious. The cost is affordable and the service is just marvelous. Thinking of the food, my mouth is already watery.

Toscanova has the best happy hour. The selection of drinks and good are great and the prices is very reasonable.

Hostess was not the nicest but the waiter and food made up for it. Cauliflower soup incredible and tomatoes and burrata so delicious. The main courses good but the waiter extraordinary. I will eat here again.

We had lunch at the Toscanova with some family relatives on Saturday and it was an excellent dining experience. The restaurant is located at the heart of the Westfield Century City with classic interiors and comfortable dining atmosphere. I ordered a salad for the appetizer and a chicken parmigiana for the main course and it was just terrific. In addition, the waiter for our table, who has a strong Italian accent with worldly flair, was incredibly courteous and professional, this almost made us feel like we were having our lunch in the middle of Italy. All in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who happen to be around in the area.

We chose to eat outside and were seated upon our arrival. Our wine order was taken right away by a very efficient server. We decided on our selection, though it wasn't easy with much to chose from. My daughter ordered the steamed mussels which were prepared in a delicious garlic sauce. I chose the home made ravioli stuffed with chicken and spinach which was also very good. Wine options were excellent. A bit pricey, but good. The only downside was our waiter who was efficient but not at all friendly, even a bit snooty.

Considering most of the restaurants are no longer in centurymcity mall this is a ok place . Has great salads or pasta. Other main dishes are fair but if you're I want a sit down in centurymcity now this is almost it.

We were there for shopping and cinema-ing and hadn't done our homework about where to lunch. We wanted to eat somewhere other than the food court area, and so checked out the restaurants clustered in the northwest corner of the shopping center. It appeared Toscanova was the most popular, at least on that afternoon, and the menu offered a number of things that looked interesting. We each decided to order the "Tonno Primavera" salad, which sounded like an Italian version of a Salade Nicoise, but with "marinated tuna." We thought that since it was listed under the "Insalatone" heading, for $16.00, not under "Insalate Antipasti" for $12.00, that we were each ordering an entree salad. What a joke. Our salads were served in lovely large white ceramic tilted bowls. In each salad there was approx one cup of lettuce, three cherry tomatoes, one heaping tablespoon of CANNED tuna, separated into four or five clumps, maybe three small slices of cooked potato, tossed in a nondescript vinaigrette, and that was it. Total volume of this presumably entree salad - perhaps 1 1/4 C salad. Our [generous] estimate of the cost of ingredients: $2.00. We figured each small can of tuna accounted for about six to eight of these salads. Contrary to other reviewers, we found the service exemplary. Our waiter was very attentive, the busboys were wonderful, offering more bread (which was good) and refilling water. We left a big tip. I would NEVER go back there. We were stunned by the sense that this restaurant operated on the basis that if you ordered a luncheon salad, they thought they could pull off something like this. The only reason Toscanova received two stars is for the excellent service we received. I'd like to award them the Rip-Off Award -- and warn diners to STAY AWAY.

The food was really good, the ambiance was welcoming, the service was excellent!! I had a cauliflower soup and pizza and both were DELICIOUS!! But to me what stood out was that from everyone that greeted us when we first walked in, waited on us, table made for us, bus boys, waiter, EVERYONE was gracious, warm & friendly. I really like this in a restaurant. I would go back with either friends or for a romantic evening. We sat outside near a heat lamp and it was perfect.

This places food was ok, but this main review is on the service. Our nice server keeps getting screamed for little things. The manger is very mean to his staff. I would not recommend going if you want a nice relaxing dinner

We had a private room here for a group of 14. Everyone immensely enjoyed Thier food and drinks. The special was a mozzarella from Italy with tomatoes and a pepper purée that was amazing. I had a blueberry martini that was also unforgettable. My entire was sole, which was good. Lastly, I had hazelnut gelato which I highly recommend. The service was top notch.

We first stopped by this restaurant for a quick drink and a nibble while shopping at Westfield Mall in LAs Century City. By the way the Happy hour is well worth a visit with good wines at 5 dollars a glass and a selection of appies at 5 bucks each. We found service to be prompt and efficient for the happy hour bit and you should have the meatballs (great value for 5 dollars) and consider the calamari. We returned for dinner having watched both the late day and lunch hour busy-ness of the restaurant. We were wisely counseled that lunch is the busy time mid week but on the weekends a reservation is a good idea. Dinner was terrific especially if you are familiar with traditionally prepared authentic Italian fare. If your idea of Italian food is over cheesed, tomato based and includes thick crust pizza, this is not the place for your! If you like fresh flavors,s piping hot food, real olive oil without the balsamic and have a hankering for real food prepared the Italian way, then get ready for a good meal. We had the pizza one one lunch visit and found that for 12 dollars, a large thin crusted quarto stagioni pizza was a quick trip back to middle Italy. Fresh, hot and delicious. Back to dinner. We began with an appetizer of octopus and potato. In a word, fantastic. The potato adds immeasruably to the octopus which was super fresh, grilled to perfection and not at all rubbery which is, I know, what you are expecting. If you have never had octopus before, have this. Our mains included a special of the day, green fettucine with cherry tomatoes and sea bass and another main of ravioli with ricotta and spinach and sage butter sauce. Each served piping hot with in house made pasta. Simple, perfect and a good quantity for a very very reasonable price. Wine list is particularly good, pay very close attention to the specials of the day for wine as some very remarkable bottles come up at very remarkable prices. Service on our visits was exemplary. Particularly at dinner. We have seen complaints on line about service but cannot echo them and we have now been to this place 4 times. gracie a Toscanova

Have had lunch here many times but have not previously reviewed it. As I finished lunch yesterday, I thought I owed it a review, not because of any one experience, but because of it's remarkable consistency across the board -- service, ambience and cuisine. Yesterday I had the scampi risotto, nothing earth shattering, but seriously prepared and presented. I love this place.

This is a nice space in the mall for a business lunch. Solid and varied menu, decent food, decent service. Nothing special, but nothing wrong either. My fish was good, but not outstanding. I enjoyed sitting outside and people watching.

Went to this restaurant based on a recommendation from a local and enjoyed the food. Not too pricey given the location and the specials were interesting and enjoyable. The service was good but we seemed to be rushed to move along with dinner - plates cleared almost as soon as any one of us finished eating. Seating inside means a lot of ambient noise so try to sit on the outdoor balcony if possible.

I typically don't write reviews. When I'm displeased, I usually send an email straight to the manager/owner voicing my disappointment and the reason I do this is not to criticize but in hopes that things are made better, and the restaurant succeeds; but not surprisingly it was impossible to send an email to the restaurant. So, here I am. My husband and I sat at the bar on Friday 2/19. Benjamin P., at Station Bar left possession (he wasn't the bar tender), helped us. After sitting there for a while, we had to ask for table setting. The couple next to us who were there before us had to ask for bread-which was very good by the way. My ravioli was good and tasty however, my husband's Spaghetti Frutti di mare was disappointing-good portion of spaghetti, but he had to deep dive to find the Frutti di mare. Definitely not worth $30. In all fairness, I don't believe Benjamin was at fault here, although a lot of his errors are common sense, and it was obvious he was new and not trained properly. The setting up for the customer, the napkin or coaster for the drinks, the bread, checking in periodically etc. should all be automatic when working the bar counter, customers shouldn't have to keep asking for these things. I hope the owners read this and properly trains Benjamin because he was a very nice young man and I know that with the right training he could be a good bar server.

Food was delightful. Service was good. New restaurant so it's hard to find but worth the effort. Not listed on directory, so call to get location.

Service was so bad that we left. The other italian restaurant in this mall, Obica, is far better. Two of us arrived for a movie about an hour early, so we walked around the mall looking for a place to get a drink and an appetizer. We settled on Toscanova because they had what looked like a decent happy hour. I was particularly interested in the infusion liquors they had, especially because there were a couple options of flavored whiskeys. Right on the menu it says that you have the option of picking one of the infusions, and then the bartender will make you a custom cocktail with that liquor. I like to let bartenders serve me whatever they recommend, so I usually go this route. We walked up to the host stand and eventually we were seated at a table at the lounge. We waited seven minutes, and nobody approached our table. We should have left at that point. Even though we were right at the very front of the restaurant, several waiters walked right by us, the manager stood at the host desk, and nobody was coming to greet us, answer any questions, or take our drink orders. Growing impatient and feeling ignored, my boyfriend approached the host desk and asked if anyone was every coming to our table. The manager came to our table (and didn't apologize for the wait) but asked what we would like. Things continued to go downhill. I pointed to the infusion liquors on the happy hour menu and said "he will have the Basil Vodka with whatever drink the bartender recommends, and I'll have whichever of the infused whiskeys the bartender likes best in one of the cocktails that they make with it." I also ordered two food items. The manager didn't write anything down, and had to clarify two of the things I ordered. I already knew at this point something would come out wrong because if nothing is written down and you forget what I want when you're still standing at the table, that only spells trouble. A few minutes later, a bartender approached us with one cocktail and one whiskey neat. When she served it to me, she said "you wanted this neat, right?" I calmly said "oh no, I wanted it in one of the speciality cocktails with the infused whiskeys." She looked a little confused, so I opened the menu and pointed to where it said you could get one of the infused liquors in a cocktail that the bartender makes. She said "oh, but we don't have any whiskeys for that" She said it with a very rude tone, as if to indicate that I was incorrect and stupid. I was already getting agitated at this point since we waited forever for nobody to greet us, and I knew there would be a mistake with my order before it even came out. I pointed at the menu, right where it says they have infused flavored whiskeys. She got in a huff and walked away, so I made a comment about how if an actual waiter had come to take our order and someone had written it down, this wouldn't have happened. She took the drink back and sent her manager over. He came over and asked what the problem was, so I said that my drink came out wrong. He was already starting a fight with me and insisted that I was wrong, and that they don't offer cocktails with the infused whiskeys. Again, I pointed to RIGHT where it says they do on the menu. How do I know this place's bar menu better than the bartender who makes the drinks and the guy who manages the place? He kept arguing with me, and I realized I was never going to get through to them. I didn't want to give this place my business and money anymore, so I started gathering my things and said we were leaving. At that point, the rude manager took this as an opportunity to puff his chest and flaunt his masculinity by trying to act like he was kicking us out. He tried to escort us from the place and remove us even quicker. We were already on our way out, so him doing this was just him trying to regain any sense of him being right, when every single thing they had done up to this point was wrong. He kept insisting that we leave when we were already walking out the door, so I turned back to the host stand to ask for a business card so that I could remember to write about his behavior. Manager - if you're reading this...YOU did not kick us out. WE left because your service sucks, and you're a complete jerk. To recap: -Nobody greeted us within 7 minutes of sitting down, even though at least 5 employees including a manager walked by. No apology was made for the wait. -Our order was repeated multiple times, and still not written down. -When our order came out wrong, we were told twice by a bartender and a manager that the drink we ordered is not sold there, even though it's printed in black and white on the menu. So, we walked down the walkway to Obica. We were greeted within seconds, and our drinks were on our table a minute later. They were delicious. Our server was friendly and inviting. The manager came over with a huge smile on his face and we talked to him for several minutes. We made plans to return to Obica for dinner with friends.

we come back here often, they do Everything Right- the manager is right there upfront and center- they want you to be Happy and Come Back, like a neighborhood place should feel- if you like Italian done your way- they Understand and make Good things happen- Hard to find restaurants and a management team that cares about you and me, like these people-

its an ok Italian restaurant, seriously nothing special about it but we sat in it because there wanst restaurants with outdoor seating i guess in this mall expect this one. based on the dishes we chose, it is really overpriced

This restaurant appears to be nice. However, management is not so nice. They accused my son of stealing as we were leaving the restaurant. Management threatened to call the police and I told him I will fill a Harassment Report on him. If this is the way customers are treated than no one should go to this restaurant. My son had forgotten his phone and his medication for seizures he left on the table. Neither I nor my son took anything from the restaurant not even the engraved napkins honoring my mother's 90th Birthday. Servers appear to be nice but they are rude. They have no clue what Rootbeer is as we tried to explain. If they had no rootbeer, the server should have said that so another drink order would have been made. Management is so outrages I will never return and alert others not to return. No one needs to be accused of stealing nor do they need to be humiliated in front of a crowd which was standing outside this inept restaurant. By the way, I saw rats in the kitchen which is why we left early.

The worst lunch service experience I've had with one notable saving grace without which this restaurant really merits zero stars as opposed to one - our server, Alessandra was delightful with a bright smile, but her effort to make an awful experience palatable (no pun intended) just couldn't overturn. So... walk in, be ignored by the woman in the host table who is staring out in space. Three minutes go by and you call her to attention. She says 'sit anywhere'. I go to the bar, take a booth and say could I have a beer while I wait for my friend, after which I make it a Peroni. The barkeep dumps a glass and a bottle of Peroni in front of me, doesn't pour it and walks away. The glass is dirty. I have them change it. My buddy arrives and he's also ignored by the lady in front. We have lunch. I have their special mushroom risotto at an exorbitant $28... greasy creamy and tasteless. That was preceded by an equally tasteless broccoli soup (at $14 a bowl). The best bit of lunch was my green tea bag... and Alessandra who by herself couldn't overturn a restaurant run by groupies who really couldn't care less about their customers. For $120 between two of us, we could have eaten for a month at McDonalds and probably gotten more welcome cheer in the process. Avoid.

Went to this restaurant with my family since it was near our hotel . Expected more. Food was not what I am used to in Italian foods. It was busy but service was not what I am used to either. I have had much better italian food in much less trying to be trendy Italian restaurants. Should have stayed at the hotel.

Living La Dolce Vita at Toscanova means good Italian food (all the classics plus some rarer entrees), a nice view looking out on the Westfield Century City mall and surrounding hills, and slooow service. I had panzanella salad and mussels and each was very good. The panna cotta for dessert was unremarkable. We weren’t in a hurry but it took us 90 minutes to eat. Some might find that laborious.

Toscanova is our favorite place in West LA and we dine here regularly. The staff is fantastic, the food is terrific (with lots of great specials daily) and happy hour seven days a week. The range of menu items is great (from healthy and delicious fish, salads and soups (never cream-based) to wonderful pastas and meat dishes). Everything here is excellent. Outdoor seating is abundant and the atmosphere throughout the restaurant is delightful.

A place to eat after shopping . There is a good menu and wine list with indoors and outdoor seating. Good service and nicely prepared and present food

I was apprehensive at the thought of eating in a restaurant in a shopping mall but the second you walk in the door you're transported - it was fabulous! The servers were attentive, the atmosphere was perfect, the food was delicious and the cost not extortionate at all. 10 out of 10

Two people can go to this restaurant at the same time, on the same day, and walk away with completely different reviews. The service can be superb or awful, depending on the luck of the draw. The food can be tasty or disappointing, depending on what you order. I had a margherita pizza with prosciutto that was great, and a parmesan chicken that was bland, overcooked and tasteless. There is a lot of potential here...but it isn't being realized yet.

I didn't expect much when I walked into Toscanova at the Century City mall. I was pleased to find authentic Italian food served by Italians. The menu may be challenging for people unfamiliar with Italian cuisine. They were out of the fish so I ordered the lasagne which tasted great. Although not spelled out on the menu, the waitress explained it did include meat. The decor was tastefully done and the outdoor heat lamps helped a lot. After decline dessert, my waitress offered to validate my parking, a with a sincere "grazie," we left quite satisfied. I recommend Toscanova for Italian foodies.

I frequently eat at Toscanova Century City. The service is always good and so is the food. They are one of the oldest restaurant in this big shopping area and there is a good reason for it - consistently very good Italian food. Keep it up Toscanova!

We had a great time here- the staff were really accommodating and willing to help. Furthermore, the food was really good and I would definitely recommend the calamari and ragu! Great place and I can't wait to come back

On our one night off from BJ's in Century City we stumbled across Toscanova. We had a fussy group of 6 eaters but nobody was disappointed with all of us remarking it was probably the best Italian restaurant ever A waiter whose English was poor added to the authenticity the food and service were fantastic I urge you to try this restaurant and make sure you have the truffles!!! Also leave room for dessert - amazing

This restrauant was reccommended by the Hilton Beverly Hills and I must say it did not let them down, easy location to the Hotel. Both the atmosphere and the food was great along with friendly attentive wait staff. Also a good wine list. We will return.

I stopped in there recently because most of the mall has been torn town in preparation for their grand remodel. I wasn't expecting much but wow.. the food was great and their Negroni is fantastic!

We were in LA for a weekend on a stop over and spent the afternoon at the mall shopping. We were recommended Toscanova for dinner by one of the stores and arrived just after opening and were seated quickly. The service was fine although we did have to wait to make our initial drinks order however after that they were really efficient. I ordered a veal chop and was quite disappointed. Veal is such a tender meat and being on the bone it should have been perfect but this piece was really over cooked. The waiter hadn´t asked how I wanted it cooked and I simply forgot to ask for rare. This is partly my fault but either way it was just too overdone. My friend had the lasagne special and she pronounced it really nice. Overall it was ok. Would have been very good apart from the veal. Great location and super convenient after loads of shopping and the taxi rank was just outside on the street. I would go back but be mindful of carefully ordering to meet my expectations.

I’ve been coming to this place for about easily over a decade now, maybe two, and still love going here. Even though it is located in the mall at the Westfield Century City, they are able to maintain their quality of food and service. Their food ingredients are always fresh and remain to be authentic Italian style of cuisine. I love their fresh grilled calamari salad and I’ve been ordering this for decades! I love everything else, but this one I always order. Their service is consistently good, and they seem to always do a great job in suggesting food choices. The ambiance is always good, and the location can’t be beat because it’s right there in the mall at Century City. Unfortunately, just like any other restaurants in the whole Westfield, they do not validate if you parked in the mall. So make sure that you are aware of the charges of the mall’s parking.

Happened upon this spot last week for a little Sunday lunch al fresco and was pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted at the front and when we asked to move our seat to get more of a view to people watch, our hostess pleasantly accommodated. We had great service (wish I had caught the gentleman's name) and recommendations including that to share the truffle pasta which was positively delish! The spinach ravioli was good, but not nearly as fantastic as the truffle pasta. I'd definitely go back.

After reading the reviews, we decided to try this restaurant, which is housed in the open air mall near and within easy walking distance from the Hyatt Century City. The environment is nice and the wait staff attentive. I had the wild board ragu with pasta - it was excellent. I was anxious to try it after having one of the best meals I've ever had in Tuscany - which included this same dish. The dish here did not disappoint and reminded me of my Tuscan meal. All at our table enjoyed the meal - I would return.

The prices can be a few dollars high and if you order something that isn't on the menu be sure to ask for a price (we asked for focaccia and prosciutto for an appetizer and they wound up bringing us $40 worth of prosciutto), but I loved my meal. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms on the specials menu was to die for. Lovely ambiance, courteous staff.

We were recommended to this Italian restaurant by a local retailer and boy was she right. As soon as we arrived we received instant service and we're quickly ushered to our table . Service was excellent, and so was the food . We both had starters, mine was squid & potato etc served in a red cabbage"bowl"Absol delicious. Husband had fuesili pasta with peas & speck plus 2 glasses of wine . Total cost 60 dollars. Elsewhere in the restaurant people were eating a variety of foods , all of which looked very appetising .

This is the nicest restaurant at the shopping mall. The food is great and you have a lot to chose from I.e. wild boar ragu pasta. The service is fast and good. This is the perfect place to just sit and spot people with a glass of wine.

Just dropped into this place after flying into LAX from Italy that very a.m. Not expecting much at first. Relaxing with a drink and some grazing in a place convenient to my meeting was the only desire. We had for appetizers the fried calamari with two types of dipping sauces, a red and white. The calamari was absolutely delish and were FRESH and tender with the lightest batter which was crispy and let the mild quiet flavor shine through. One of the best I have ever had. The appetizer list was a great selection and one of those with a salad would be enough. But I had to try the lunch entree instead. I had the wild boar ragout peppardelle, All pasta at Toscanova was advertized in the menu as being made on the premises. I can vouch for that! The ragout was perfectly married to the pasta, taste wise and how it hugged the pasta. it was a huge portion (especially for lunch) but I did my best or should I say I couldnt help it. My guest had the rigatoni with eggplant and ricotta and found it to be delectable with a light tomato sauce that was infused with a fruity olive oil and not particularly heavy but also a portion that was rather large. All salads here were in bowls as big as one's head--easily and guests were eagerly munching and enjoying them. The place is akin to many authentic Italian eateries I had been to recently in decor, maybe even a little nicer. But having just returned from Italy I would say it measures up to the best over there and this was sort of a taste test since I recently had come from plenty of those eateries. It was even better than some of the establishments I went to.The service staff is p rofessional and the plates arrived quickly being lunch hour. The clientele was professional such as financial types and agents since that was the neighborhood. Very pleasant place, very pleasant surprise. Two people with an entree each and sharing one huge appetizer with a drink in an upscale estabilshment was very very reasonable. The plates were piled high in an elegant peak of food and it is almost too much of a good thing. Plus it was great people watching there. It is located in Century City which is the businiess area for agents and financial services so there is a scarcity of restaurants but this one, even though it shouldnt have to try so hard with hardly any competition, does strive to give a fabulously good, fresh and reasonable meal. Bravo

….as this is billed as a Tuscan restaurant and it is indeed Tuscan in many ways, not least the menu, the native staff and the over-lit room, humming and buzzing and always thronged. That said, the food is very good, service swift if a little peremptory and in-attentive, and the flavours are as full-some and Italian as the real thing. Only the pasta, apparently home-made though in whose home is not revealed, is not lacking in substance or quality just the quality of cooking. Our two pasta dishes were both under-cooked, which is quite a feat in a busy kitchen which managed to over-cook the vegetables in three dishes in a very Tuscan manner. One very nice touch – the house wine, served in glass decanters of a wide variety of sizes, is highly potable and good value.

I used to believe you don't find the best dining from restaurants housed within a shopping mall. My attitude's changing! Toscanova was a wonderful treat. From the very authentic staff, to original and interesting dish options, the experience was fun and surprising. Wonderful Chianti wine started off the evening. My Trout was excellent and the dishes of my dinner companions were equally as great. Fun atmosphere, experienced staff, a feeling of old world Italy = Great Experience!

My husband and I decided to give Toscanova a try after our movie on Saturday night. Honestly, we wanted to eat at Rocksugar, but the wait was too long. We popped over to Toascanova and although the restaurant was busy, we were seated within five minutes- this was about 8:30pm on Saturday night. We sat outside, which was fine, because they have heaters. If anything, the heaters made it too warm! I ordered the Lasagna and my husband had gnocchi. My lasagna was outstanding, his gnocchi was good. We shared a "Nona Cake", which is more like a tart with what tasted like Nutella in the middle. It was good, but not at all what we expected. Service was fast, friendly and professional. The bill for our two entrees, dessert, one glass of wine and an iced tea was about seventy dollars, pre-tip. A tad pricey, but then again, the area is upscale. We did enjoy our meal and experience, making us likely to return in the future. Like my review? Check out my blog!

Me and my wife had dinner at this restaurant. The pasta was not cooked and my wife's risoto did not have taste. I will never go there again.

Returned here from overseas, and not a mistake, as excellent service, ambience and food made our evening very special. Probably the stand out best restaurant in the Westfield mall, and one we will continue to return to on visits to LA.

The food was excellent, and well prepared. Service was good, not great, once it got a bit crowded. The prices were very high for what you get.

After years of coming to this place, the staff knows me and always were happy to see me, and I was happy to see them, this restaurant has lost A LONG TIME COSTUMER. I was treated so disrespectfully by a person who was either the host or the manager of this place, he was tall and grey haired standing next to the hostess on the entrance of the restaurant. There was a long line of people waiting without reservation and they all and I mean all of them were seated outside. I wanted to have the same courtesy as everybody else and be seated outside as well, it so happens that today due to a last minute change of plans I decided to go to this restaurant by myself, and just because I was by myself I was denied to be seated outside like everybody else until a table for one would be available, and there were even tables for five people with just two people seated there, this person knows me he knows how many times I'd gone to this restaurant over the years and he treated with a rude attitude, not a good way to treat A LONG TIME COSTUMER, he says he wouldn't do a good business by seating one person in a table for two, (once again, there were even two people seated in a table of five), and he knows or should know that other times that I decided to have lunch there by myself I usually order a good amount of food which means good business for him, something apparently he didn't think about tonight, but regardless of that and again that's not a way to treat A LONG TIME COSTUMER and he knew I was A LONG TIME COSTUMER, however regardless of that as well, if everybody there without a reservation is having the courtesy to be seated outside, me who also was there without a reservation I should've had the same courtesy as everybody else and never be treated this disrespectful, he was even ordering me, not asking, ordering with such a rude tone to wait for my turn far from the restaurant and I was standing in a place where I was not bothering anybody. Rude, disrespectful, and a attitude that shows an incredible lack of professionalism, after waiting there for a long time standing and seeing how this person was just ignoring me and treating me with that bad attitude I just went to him and told him ''You don't know how to treat A LONG TIME COSTUMER, you just don't'' and left. This experience made me feel so bad that I wanted to come here and share it so you know what kind of restaurant it actually is, if you're at the Westfield Century City and want to have some good Italian food I highly recommend to check out the restaurants at Eataly, similar prices and a much higher quality than Toscanova's I promise you that. If there's one thing I'll miss from Toscanova will be the staff working inside, the waiters were so nice to me and I always left them a good tip, well nice meeting you guys you were the only professionals there, I hope to see you again in another and better restaurant. Well that's it, bye Toscanova after this pretty bad experience and after so many years, you'll never see my money anymore, I'm sure you'll miss my tips.

I've been there 3 times already so don't get me wrong, I like the food there but as Italian, I want ALL my Italian food to be up to the standards. Every dish taste good and presents well but good.. you cannot call that pizza... First Pizza is done with mozzarella and I cannot define what cheese is that... second, why do you need to add garlic to the base? GARLIC is not a key ingredient of the Italian cuisine! Only abroad restaurant add garlic to the food and cover the taste :(

Was a nice choice near our hotel. Everyone spoke Italian which was fun. Busy and food was good. A bit expensive but it is LA!

We went to Toscanova for a special Saturday family dinner, with kids. The restaurant was busy, but not full, and we were served by a nice Italian waiter. The food was on the pricier end, which is what we were looking for. It seems, though, we should have opted for the homemade pastas because much of the rest of the dishes did not live up to our expectations at all. The gluten-free pasta with arrabiata sauce was quite nice, especially for a gluten-free variety (it was the winning dish). The kids meals came in much-too-large adult portions (we all took turns eating the fries as the kids were done before our main courses arrived); the ceasar salad was tossed in mostly oil; the flat, dry chicken breast was served with a salad and a dab of balsamic (no other sauce); the filet mignon was served with arugula and a dab of balsamic (no other sauce), and the funghi risotto was tasteless. When we asked a server what sauce the chef would recommend with the dry chicken, he answered, "Ketchup?". We asked him to check with the chef and we were then served tomato sauce - and charged extra for it! We didn't dare ask about the pricey filet mignon. All in all a disappointing experience on what we were hoping to be a special evening.

While staying at the Hyatt (Century City) location, we dined here a few times and we were not disappointed. The ambiance is lovely (although busy) and they have a lovely outdoor patio. The majority of the wait staff speak Italian, so they are able to assist with describing menu items. The prices were reasonable, service good and food was excellent. Would highly recommend that if you're planning to shop at this mall or stay at this hotel, this is a good dining option. This restaurant is around the corner and across the street from the hotel, so a great choice for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend it as onr of the nicer restaurants at this shopping mall. Enjoy. Buon Apetito!!!

Excellent Service, great food. Nothing was missed 6 of us for dinner on Saturday night. Portions are great and great selection for all needs

This place is situated inside a mall, so I didn't have very high expectations but as we walked past on a sunday afternoon we noticed they were having happy hour which represented excellent value from 4pm til close! The place however is gorgeous, we were seated outside and it almost felt like we were in italy under the sun, and a great place to people watch as well. Drinks were cheap and although we were only there to have a few drinks, then proceeded to have dinner as well with their $5 plates! All the plates we tried were excellent, my favourite being the calamari, and their tender meatballs as well as the grilled shrimp. Excellent for dates and groups alike. It can be pretty pricey though if you come at normal times, so id definitely recommend happy hour and enjoy their italian style tapas on hand.

Toscanova is certainly the best choice in the Century City shopping center. The food and service are consistently good. This is not the best Italian restaurant in the city but certainly a great choice within the mall.

My wife and I were staying at the Century Plaza Hyatt on business this earlier this week. I had lunch with a supplier there on Monday and the food and service was so good, we went that same evening with many of my co-workers for dinner. The Risotto was great, and also had the short rib that evening and it was also wonderful. The service was excellent and the servers were great in explaining the different options on the menu.

Following a hot welcome , we chose what to eat from a detailed menu. Octopus and fish was delicious. Wine was perfect. Nothing to say for the ambience. I strongly recommend this restaurant, while visiting LA.

I am very disappointed! They changed their chef and the food is of poor quality. My pasta was overcooked and cold, and my boyfriend's pizza was burnt. We called the manager to complain, and he was extremely rude with a horrible attitude. I have never seen a manager as unprofessional as him, which is why I am writing this review. We used to frequent this place, but after tonight's experience, we will never return.

We dined with six out-of-town friends this past weekend. We sat outside in the heated patio which was delightful....calm and quiet. The service and food were very, very good. We would definitely return!

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday during our lunch break from work. Service was very quick! My friends had the TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE, and I had the daily special - Spinach Gnocchi, which was very good! We eat here quite often for birthday celebrations; and stop by for Happy Hour every once in a while. Really enjoy their ambiance and their service.

Super nice staff, very helpful and attentive. Good selection of food and nicely prepared. Over the years, I have gone several times to this restaurant and I have never been disappointed. The tables are nicely spaced so it is possible to have a private conversation

We went there for a birthday lunch, hoping to have the seared ahi with grilled veggies but they took it off the menu. She had he salmon salad which was very good. I had the chopped which was OK. brown bread was terrific and they kept it coming,. service was excellent. Though the birthday was mentioned on the reservation they forgot about it but I pretended o go to the restroom and nabbed the waiter. They comped a nice dessert. It is a great place to eat outside in a nice day as lots of shaded tables.

Waited to be seated and witnessed a lot of loud shouting. I felt a manager or equivalent was bullying a female customer, I was amazed, if that were my wife .. well you could imagine!!!! I was about to step in when the woman walked out, we followed her and gave our names and addresses in case she would follow the incident up. When you read many of the reviews on here this shouting and bullying customers seems quite the norm! Be careful and be aware if you visit this place

We came back this year and found that the quality of the place has dropped somewhat since our last visit in 2013. Very nice location in the mall and nicely decorated. Pizzas are large and OK, but I had the chicken which was overcooked and not very nice. Service is friendly, but would probably not go back. A bit pricey for what you get, but I guess that comes with the location.

The waiter brought the wrong appetizer AND the wrong entree! To "make up for it" he brought a free dessert ... without asking my preference; he brought something I don't like (tho both husbands liked it). I'd have given the place a 3, though, if my friend hadn't gotten sick that night!

The mall where this restaurant is located is undergoing a huge remodel and expansion. The full-service restaurant choices are now extremely limited because a large portion of the preexisting mall was razed to make way for a new facility. Toscanova looked inviting upon arrival. There is a patio with a wind shield and heaters for year round dining as well as a nice, although cramped inside dining room. There is a sign out front to see the hostess to be seated. I walked in and waited in front of the hostess stand for, literally 3 minutes! No one greeted us or said anything although there was a lot of traffic passing through the doors right in front of the stand. Not only that, the hostess was behind the hostess stand, but was too busy to bother with any customers, she was busy talking to other staff members. I felt bad interjecting, but I had a movie to catch in an hour and 15 minutes. I only intended to have some cocktails and appetizers, so 75 minutes would not be a problem with an attentive, interested staff. The hostess apologized for the wait, she did after all see us when we walked in. We opted for a table in the bar, thinking that would give us quick service and the happy hour food and beverage menu, with a direct link to the bartender and POS for quick order entry. This proved to be a bad decision! The wait at our table was now approaching 7 1/2 minutes! (It's a small bar with a few tables, impossible to miss someone being seated). I went up to the hostess again and told her we've been waiting without any service. The bartender came over within a minute or two, surprisingly fast given the rest of the evening here. The problem is, the bartender didn't know what was on the menu. She proceeded to tell us the custom cocktails, listed on the menu, weren't possible because they didn't stock those spirits. I showed her where on the menu they were. She apologized and said she'd make the drink. The drinks eventually came but were incorrect. The food order wasn't placed. We decided to leave the restaurant and see what other options were available. There are two other full service restaurants upstairs. We opted for the other Italian restaurant because they had a full service bar. (The Chinese place only offered wine and beer). I can't remember the name of the Italian restaurant upstairs, but it started with an "O". We walked in, had a server at the table in under a minute, ordered a pizza (full price because we were too late for happy hour). The drink and pizza were perfect. The manager came over to thank us for the business and check on the quality of the food and drink. Toscanova dropped the ball! They didn't do a single thing right, had cocky staff and horrible service.

Toscanova at the under-renovation Westfield Century City Mall is a work-in-progress. The food was overcooked, the staff under-trained and inexperienced. A sad experience not likely to be repeated. Find anywhere else to eat.

Recently went to dinner at Toscanova in Century City -- I've been there at least five other times with mixed experiences. I mainly went back because of the gnocchi which is really quite good. But, I have now taken it off my list of restaurants to visit. The service was terrible. We were ignored for the most part. Had to ask for water, ask for everything. It was annoying given that this restaurant is not at all inexpensive. The pasta dishes are at least $18 and up -- when you add a salad or appetizer and a glass of wine - it becomes pretty pricey. I expect more for this. The last straw was when I went into the bathroom which had clearly not been attended to in a long time. There was no toilet paper in one stall and the other was overflowing with trash all over the floor and on the "extra restaurant chairs" that were in the handicap stall. My kids and I agreed -- this restaurant is "off the list" --

Love coming here when in Century City. Whether its for lunch or dinner, always excellent food and service. Nice patio seating and indoor seating is warm and cozy. The food is super fresh and delicious. Pizza is very good, wood fired, crisp crust, great for an appetizer or meal. the salads are large and fresh, great for sharing. the Fish is always fresh and simply prepared, not over sauced. very tasty, with light sauce. The pastas are large and homemade. everything is great, a real treat. wine selection is good. always feel relaxed and taken care of in here. highly recommend

Located in the newest Westfield shopping centre, this restaurant is cozy and friendly with hungry guests. Even knowing the risk of high calories, we didn't missed for starters calamari zucchini, piccola parmiggiana (eggplant) and neither insalata carciofi frisee. Muscoli pepati, carpaccio di manzo, asparagus was all in line with our expections considering the location, only at the Gnocchi Filati need more attention in execution or choose other ingredients. Last but not least, Giancarlo the half Romanian associate made our experience unforgettable with his fine tunning in providing high service level. Good job !

Food was really good , service okay but needs improvement. Overall a great place for happy hours and some great wines

It was my sons birthday. My food came up cold and no one was around to help so I had to take my food and find someone. I saw the manager who happened to be at the desk who thrusted his hands up in the air and just walked off with my food. I kept saying excuse me as in what’s happening but he just walked off and my waiter told me I would get it back. I waited For it whilst others on my table finished thier meal and then I didn’t want to eat alone so I told Them in a nice way not to worry. It had been a very fair amount of time and everyone was ready for dessert. The manager that i told at the desk was angry and told me I was being difficult and I said to him that he should speak to me in this tone. He was being very argumentative and I insisted that I wasn’t upset about the food but the way he speaking to me, that’s what I am islet about. He told me he hasn’t got the time to speak with me and kept walking closer and closer to me and I had to step back as he inches forwar. We are in covid and his face with sweat kept coming towards me. He was verbally aggressive and abusive. I genuinely believe he does not like women as no decent male would treat anyone like that, let alone a woman who was polite to him. Specifics he mentioned were that I would never understudy the problems that are happening because of a pandemic and what would I know as clearly I am not in this industry. That he wanted me to go away and he is busy enough so there is no need for me to return for repeat briskness. This is a restaurant we went to every other week. He spoke to his staff like they were dirt on the floor and they all seem to work under fear. I recc so many people to this restaurant, further it’s part of a group. I went for my sons birthday and his sexist attitude towards me was a disgrace. Awful man!

Food is good and very consistent. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been back many times.

Great Italian restaurant located in the Westfield Center at Century City. Nice open-air patio dining. Very friendly service. Great variety in menu choices.

Toscanini in Century City doesn't pretend to have 3 Michelin stars, so if you are looking for such a restaurant, this is not it. But my rating of 4/5 is given because, for the type of restaurant that it is, Toscanova is really excellent. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the welcome at the door the same, the menu is full of Italian classics and the food excellent. I had a pasta from the daily specials list, which was cooked with black truffles whose taste had infused throughout the entire dish. It was one of the better truffle pastas that I have ever had. The wine list was adequately long for someone who likes their wines and the prices quite fair. The service was attentive and friendly. What more can you ask for in such a restaurant?!

Very prompt, efficient and constant service, with Patrick making the evening really very special. We brought our own wine, as it was an anniversary, so that often sets the staff on edge -- but not here. It was poured with the same service as you should expect. Great food--with the Risotto with mixed fresh mushrooms a real treat. The bufala e pmodoro was an amazingly creamy freshly made mozzarella with tomato and basil was amazingly delicious. We both had really super desserts (souffle and a chocolate covered cream). While construction hides the entrance if you don't know where you are going, it is well worth the visit.

Had dinner here prior to going to see film. Ate on terrace outside, my wife had the wild salmon, absolutely delicious, I had an excellent pasta. Really prompt, friendly service.

Having stopped in the LA for a week my wife and I ate here on a recommendation. This place can at first appearance be a little intimidating as its looks like a very expensive, fancy establishment but in fact is reasonably priced. For our entrees my wife and I shared a plate of fried squid and the 4 cheeses gnocchi. Although my wife enjoyed the squid which was lightly fried, tender and served with a lemon aioli, I myself have cooked squid hundreds of times and found it to be just that. Then again I'm hard to please when it comes to squid and for the price and size of the dish it was well worth it. Next was the 4 cheese gnocchi which I really enjoyed and was perfectly made. For mains I had Veal Osso Bucco with Saffron Risotto which is one of my all time favourite dishes and it certainly didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this dish when it's available. My wife had Lasagne that I thought could of had a little more Bechemal but this is only a personal preference. Overall, well executed traditional Italian food and reasonably priced.

Terrible food overpriced and overcooked. Wait staff was rude, incompetent and talked about making tables wait because they didn't like the way guests looked right in front of our table. On top of that they charged us for an expensive dish we didn't order and refused to fix the bill. With so many good and great restaurants nearby there is no reason to ever go here. Please don't waste your money, find a better option!

This mall restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel. We arrived during Happy Hour and the manager sat us in the outdoor dining section where we could order off the regular menu and Happy Hour menu. Two friends who walked by joined us. We had wine and salads/appetizers off the HH menu and my friend and I ordered pastas off the regular menu. I had a special homemade pasta with sea bass and artichokes in wine sauce. It was delicious. All foods that we 4 ordered: calamari, shrimp skewers, tricolor salad, zucchini parmesan, Caesar salad, pasta Bolognese were well prepared and tasty. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient. We would return if in the area.

We were a party of 4 and seated quickly. Servers were attentive. Only 2 of us were happy with the meals. The chicken parmigiana looked more like a 10" personal pan pizza and did not come with any pasta or side dish. The menu did not state that it was only the chicken. We would not have ordered it if we knew it was only the chicken. For $26, one would expect the dish to include some pasta.

My friend and I had a very good lunch, the Dover sole and a wild grilled seabass were fantastic with a salad of rucola and calamari. We ordered two expressos to end this beautiful lunch and I asked to the waiter two small cookies to accompany the coffee. Waitress told us that she had to ask the manager since the restaurant had a new policy regarding cookies. Coming back, she said that the manager declined to offer us the small cookies with the expressos. I asked to meet the manager to understand his refusal. The bearded lunch manager arrived and with very rude manners said that if we wanted cookies we could buy a full plate of those. We told him that we were not buying a plate but definitely be happy to have complimentary or paid 2 cookies for the coffee. He entered into a rage and started to be rude with us that we felt was disproportionate with the nature of the request. Sorry for the note but a restaurant of this quality should pay attention with whom they trust as manager. Too bad since Toscanova is the best Italian place in the area

Fabulous lunch with the family. The salami and cheese plate was a great starter. Generous serve, plenty for the 6 of us. We enjoyed the creamy risottos, fresh seafood, pastas and more. Nice range of desserts. Service is professional and friendly. Good wine list and great coffee.

Another creation of Sciandri family, alongside with beautiful AGO, Sortino and many more. This one is located at the Westfield mall in Century City. I always was a bit preconceived about restaurants in the malls, that they cannot be very delicate or how to say it better, graceful may be, because usually people drop by in a rush in a shopping break, before or after a movie. But not this one. It really surprised me gratefully. I liked the ambience, as it’s located kind of in the back of the mall, it’s peaceful and quiet there, and what a nice private patio they have. The food was marvelously delicious. Octopus and potatoes to start with – extremely soft, aromatic and textured. As the main we took the whole grilled Turbot for two with grilled vegetables. It was in specials that day. This is a rare fish to find in the restaurants in Los Angeles, so after our server told us that they had it we didn’t think a second and the choice was made right away. I asked them to cook some white sauce and bring it on the side too, which was delicious. The fish was so rich, luscious and creamy. As Turbot just supposed to be, greatly cooked and served. They wanted to clean it at the table and leave us only filet, but we wanted to do the work ourselves, because it all is tasty and eatable, including the skin. I’m sure that other dishes that they have in the menu such as their risottos, pasta, and salads are apposite too, but I’m going to check that next time. The wine list consists of Italian and Californian wine plus a few items of French Champagne. You won’t find there very rare items and old vintages, but it contains almost all commercially successful and popular wine, especially that goes for Italian. Antinori, Gaja, Jermann, Ceretto, an impressive selection of Súper Tuscan. Of course, there are such as Opus One, Caymus, Quintessa. What is very pleasant is that all the wines are represented not by the latest release, which can regularly be found on the shelf in supermarkets, but by vintages that are already ready to drink. The prices are quite reasonable and a good selection of wine by the glass. As for the service – no complaints here. All in time, neat and attentive. By the way, you can occasionally bump into a celebrity there, such as Goldie Hawn for instance. What can I say – they like good food too. Classical Italian cuisine with a touch of extravagance!

Nice food and service, the price is a bit hight but it deserve it. I was there with my family and we all liked it.

I really enjoy my food even steak, it was a bit overly cook, however top quality! Wine list contains special price wine really good. Desserts are amazing and also service it was truly special!

Toscanova is one of several fine-dining alternatives in Century City's Westfield mall, and offers a rich variety of Italian cuisine. The menu offers something for all appetites. I'm partial to the incredibly fresh soups, as good as any you'll find in Los Angeles, and the many risottos, which make for a lighter but still satisfying meal. The service is professional and gracious, though there was an inexplicable delay between my appetizer and salad on my last visit. Toscanova bustles at lunch with a mixed industry and tourist crowd, and the dining room can be quite loud, so opt for an outdoor table in nice weather.

It's a fine place if you're hankering for traditional Italian. Certainly conducive to family and friends gatherings. Decent wine list. OK tiramisu. Sort of a blah place but it won't offend anyone.

I tried to order some food to go for my father and I last night, between roughly (7:00 pm - 8:00 pm on 02/27/21). I had a feeling we were going to be treated differently based upon the odd look that one of the hostesses gave me, upon approaching the reception podium. I asked one of the hostesses if we could order some food to go since I didn't want my 65+ year old father to be exposed to the elements of the current ongoing pandemic, for any longer than necessary. After telling the hostess that we wanted to place a to go order, she told me she'd need to go get the manager, so that he could take it. As strange as that sounded, we waited patiently for her to return with the manager. Fifteen minutes passed, and then thirty, and then ultimately roughly an hour or so later, (with the two hostesses making direct eye contact, & muttering about us simultaneously from time to time), we decided to eat at another restaurant that actually value's it's customer's and business, especially in today's economic market. I just thought that I'd share our experience with anyone considering this restaurant, so that it hopefully serve as a warning about what you can expect to encounter. If you value your health, eat at any of the other fine restaurants at this establishment, because this restaurant, and it's staff, clearly couldn't care less about your's.

Food was freshly prepared and delicious. Service was very attentive. Had a great Tiramisu dessert and cappuccino

I have eaten lunch 3 times and dinner once at Toscanova. It is an excellent choice if you are in the Century City Mall and wish to have excellent service and excellent pasta. They also serve fish and meat. It is a well done, though not over-the-top-best-in-the-universe Northern Italian. It is a best choice among the other Century City Mall options.

The hotel recommended this place and we couldn't have been happier. The food, the atmosphere, everything was perfect. If you are staying at or around the Hyatt Century Plaza, and you're hankering for some really good, genuine Italian, this is the place! Mark it down folks!

The best part of this place is the outstanding service. We had a group of 5 to start, then added 1 more person, then 4 more people, and they were very helpful with our literally expanding table. Spinach Ravoli = yum yum. The staff was always there to make it a wonderful experience and they know their wine very well.

I hate to put people on the spot but what is this restaurant's problem. The only thing I got the other day from this "restaurant" is attitude and sass. To make matters worse, I saw some spoiled yuppie named Oliver and the Manager (I believe) of this particular establishment, disrespect an employee of the mall for a minor and very justifiable incident. I still cannot understand just what exactly is wrong with these people.

We decided at 7pm that we needed to have dinnner. Concierge called there for a table of 10 and they set us up in our own room. Food was awesome. I had the Ravioli with Truffle sauce. Service at the start was a bit slow but they were very attentive and we all had a great meal.

Located in the Century City Westfield Mall, seating is both outdoors and indoors, amazing selection and generous portions of Italian food. I had the Med Salad with grilled chicken breast which was both excellent and generous. I found it surprising when I ordered St. Pelegrino and got Badoit instead (Italy vs. France). Looking at the tables around, all servings look terrific and well sized. No one is leaving this Italian kitchen hungary.

We love this place, and we go often, the food is excellent and so is the service. It is so great to be served by friendly Italians, and the food, is amazing. Ossobuco is to die for, so is grilled calamari, Pasta with truffles pricy but worth every penny. I order it with gluten free penne pasta. Yum. My husband lights up when I suggest to go there for dinner. Out door seating is great weather permitting and they have heating lamps to keep you comfortable.

You would never think to find such a fabulous restaurant in a mall. This is "not" your average mall. Its a city within a city! One of the restaurants we tried was Toscanova. They have homemade breads and pastas that only my grandmother could make. The parmesan cheese is fresh imported from Italy. This is the real deal folks... I should know the many summer's we spent visiting my grandmother in Italy.

As good as ever. Food was tasty. Service good. They have extended the outdoor seating and the atmosphere is relaxed and the sun comes on you. You really can’t go wrong. Under rated restaurant
Great food. Poor service.
If it was food alone, 5 stars without hesitation. Spaghetti with seafood, fried calamari/zucchini, and pizza about as authentic Italian as they come! Sauces were great and homemade pasta tasted great! Now for the service... My family came in around 5 pm and the restaurant was pretty empty. The staff did a pretty good job of ignoring us until I finally flagged down a waiter. Not sure if he was assigned to our area, but there were no other waiters around. His attitude was like we were bothering him. He hurried us through our order, and then disappeared (did show up at next table, regular/someone who knew the chef...and boy was he kissing up!). Our water glass was filled exactly ONCE, and aside from that, there was not much service. Nobody bother to clear off anything, offer dessert, etc. At the end of the meal, I stacked all our plates in the middle of the table and waited/watched. It took 10 minutes before someone noticed and took them. I counted staff members walking by at least 20 times and nobody noticed?!?! The waiter never showed up again (nor did any other wait staff). I don't recall the last time I did this, but I flagged down a manager and complained. He was very polite and apologetic, and offered us a discount as well as free dessert (skipped dessert since we just wanted to leave). I told him the food was fantastic, but I wanted him to be aware of the poor service. With such poor service, it wont matter in the long run how good the food is! Here is hoping things improve should we ever go back!
