We were hoping some fantastic and different food. The menu is extensive and interesting. The Oysters Kilpatrick were very tasty; but the Tolouse style gumbo did not deliver. Although the seafood quantity and andouille were adequate; the shrimps were small with the gumbo rue and ocra non-existent. My wife had the duck confit with lentils and it was an average affair. Having to pay extra for a non-crusty baguette was a bit much. The beignettes were okay and the old fort bourbon ice cream might be the best thing on the menu. If you are familiar with good New Orleans cuisine do NOT waste your time. For the dollar value and quality of food; there are many better choice nearby. Average at best.

This is a beautiful restaurant..very french bistro...all the gorgeous tile and iron and the candles...beautiful. Had wonderful briney oysters and the crab salad. Then had the pasta with mushrooms and corn and proscuitto...excellent meal overall

We went on a Tuesday at lunch time...11:40. We did get sat fairly quickly but then a server never showed up. Since we were waiting for another member of our party we were more patient but after nearly 20 minutes I literally raised my hand and started waving it to get the attention of someone. Obviously not a good start, the person sent the waiter over who was kind of rude about asking what drink we wanted. Then when someone else dropped water off at the same time to us disappeared for 15 more minutes. We finally got ordered but by that time it was after the breakfast happy hour that would have made the meal cheaper. We saw the waiter maybe 3 or 4 times, never asked how the food was or really how we were doing with the meal. The menu is large but in an odd font which can make it hard to follow as it is also not well organized as we are used to. Food was meh, my mother got cold fries and over cooked meatloaf sandwich. My husband and I got well cooked eggs for our Benedicts but the breakfast potatoes were cold. My sister got poorly seasoned food. With as extensive as the menu is, it is missing several staple Cajun foods that I was looking forward to. We hoped the reviews were right and the food would make up for poor service, but definitely not in our case. Oh and they add an additional 5% before taxing you for living wages. I'm not sure why you don't add that into your price instead, but just be aware of it.

We went to this restaurant with great anticipation as we love Cajun, Creole food , The shrimp with andouille sausage and crayfish sauce was marvelous, but the fried green tomato dish and a salad were just okay.

My husband and thoroughly enjoyed this sweet place! We had the best Negroni, cheese plate and prawns we’ve ever eaten. The service was impeccable.

Unassuming exterior with a beautiful interior and exceptional food. We started with the True French Onion Soup Lyonnaise. My husband had the Blackened Pacific Island LL Local Fresh Rockfish. I had the Fall Chanterelles, Butternut Squash and Hazelnuts with House made Ricotta Gnocchi, fried sage, parsley, grana padano and brown butter madeira. For dessert we had the Buttermilk Begnets with powered sugar and chicory anglaise. We both agreed it was one of the best meals we had ever eaten. So good we went back again the next day for brunch. Appreciate the waitstaff for their excellent service and suggestions!!

We thought lovely restaurant experiences like this had gone by the wayside. Rather than metal chairs and high ceilings with exposed pipes, this restaurant was beautiful and warm, with candlelight at dinner and booths!! The online menu does not really reflect the many, many wonderful options for dinner entrees. SO many. The only tip I would have would be to ask about spice level in the dish you are ordering. There is so much more to this restaurant than cajun food. Highly recommend.

Someone recommended this restaurant because it was in walking distance of the Museum of Pop Culture where we spent the day. It was close enough to walk and really work up an appetite. It was Sunday evening and they seated us immediately. The prices on the menu were shocking, but when the food arrived, it was fabulous. The steaks were so delicious. This is the place for a special dinner. Excellent service, amazing food. It's not a place the average person could afford frequently, but for a special occasion I highly recommend the restaurant.

I had tried to book a table the week before but nothing was open in the dining room. The day we were in the area we decided to walk over and see if we could get lucky and snag a table. There was a 45 minute wait which was fine with us. We returned at the designated time and had to wait another 10 minutes because people were lingering at their tables, again happy to wait. And yes, it was worth the wait. Absolutely fantastic food. The menu is massive so everyone should be able to find something to their liking…I found it very hard to make a decision with so many options. I ended up with the NOLA salad and a cup of what was quite possibly the best soup I have ever eaten. The others at the table (jambalaya, pastas) all loved their meals too. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff busy but attentive and helpful and to our surprise to thank us for our patience the hostess sent over a plate of beignets. We look forward to returning.

Delicious food! Truly fantastic service. Our waitress was top notch. This will become a go-to place for future brunches.

We were really disappointed with our meal. The atmosphere was great; warm, inviting vibes. Great service from everyone. Extensive menu. But, the execution of the food was mediocre at best and unforgivable at the worst: beignets were not fully cooked and were gooey in the center; plus the powdered sugar was only on the top two beignets - poor! The expensive fillet steak was overcooked, and tasted like it had been in the sous vide too long (tasted pre-digested). Plus the juicy steak was plopped on top of the crispy fried potatoes, making them inedible. The raw oysters were the best part of the meal! The onion soup was different (gruyere instead of parmesan/mozzarella; not great. The salad was okay. The gnocchi entree had very few gnocchis in it, and they were undercooked too. The meal was very expensive; not worth the cost for sure. We wanted to have a great experience, but I'm sorry to say, it was not. The people were great, and they comped our dessert after we pointed out how undercooked the beignets were. Better kitchen help is needed! This deserves to be a great place.

In the area for only one night before leaving on a cruise the following day, we were looking for something special. The Cajun style food called out to us, but the selection was so much more! Seafood, steak, chicken , duck, salads, charcuterie, etc. And a full bar. I had the Duck Confit in Dixie Bourguignon and my wife had the Scallops, Halibut, and Mussels Bouillabaisse. My duck was a little dry, but the sauce more than made up for it in my opinion. My wife's Bouillabaisse was more than she could eat. While the beignets were smaller than those found in New Orleans, they were served warm and delicious. Not inexpensive, but with so many delicious selections, we would highly recommend Toulouse Petit!

My wife/fiancée (wedding ceremony delayed due to Covid) went to Toulouse for Halloween, and it was the best restaurant experience we have ever had in Seattle. The restaurant itself was beautiful and atmospheric, and the food was absolutely delicious. They had a wide array of selections for different price ranges, which was appreciated. We had Sea Scallop Coins, the Seafood Gumbo, and an arrangement of 3 of their cheeses. Every dish blew us away, and the service provided by our waiter, Harrison, made this an incredibly memorable experience. He was perceptive, friendly, and good-humored; he even noticed my wife's ring and congratulated us. He even went as far as giving as a plate of beignets as a congratulations--above and beyond service, and I only wish I could have tipped more. After our first night there, we already know we want to come here again as often as we can. I have no complaints about my experience at Toulouse!

We really enjoyed dinner at Toulouse! A large group of us at a conference had dinner here, and the staff was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. All of Nicky’s recommendations are spot on!

I booked a table here as it is one of the few places in the area that takes reservations before an event at the Center. The meal was decent, not spectacular. Salads were good, and the creme brulee trio for dessert was great. I was excited to try the wagyu steak, but it was disappointing. It did not taste like any wagyu I've had, was very ordinary, and though it was brought out from the kitchen at medium rare as requested, they serve it on a hot metal plate which continues to cook it, so it became sadly overdone within minutes. Neither one of us finished our steak for that reason. We mentioned it to our server who agreed that it makes no sense to serve steaks this way. I'm also not thrilled by the "OK" food safety rating, which is not good (I didn't check it before we ate) and the long history of not great inspections (including a "needs to improve" rating and a closure to investigate food poisoning a few years ago). There seems to be a lot of repeat violations, which says something about management. As does the 5% surcharge they impose in lieu of showing actual prices on the menu, which annoys me as much as hotels adding a "resort fee" instead of showing the actual room rate. And on top of that, they charge a fee for using a credit card, as almost everyone does for meals in this price range - yet another sneaky way to hide the actual price. We won't be back.

Special evening with our son and daughter-in-law. Great food and love the walls of candles for atmosphere.

We came for lunch on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. We shared the delicious crab & shrimp salad, very rich croque monsieur sandwich and the bienets (almost as good as Cafe du Monde) with coffee sauce. The strawberry lemonade and peach Arnold Palmer were tasty. Tabitha was a friendly and helpful server.

With a romantic candlelit setting and extensive menu, theres something to please for everyone. Had dinner last night with two other couples. We all ordered at least one dish, all different, and all delicious. Our server Flo was excellent too. Although the concept and menu is supposed to evoke Cajun/southern food, for me food was just well prepared with not too much Southernness to get annoying A great dinner put with friends

Good, not great. We had to wait 20 minutes despite a reservation on a Tuesday. Noisy, conversation was difficult. Solid 4 star food. Some items were good, but melted mozzarella on oysters Rockefeller? Get a cookbook, because this dummed down recipe did not work.

The atmosphere is darling with candles everywhere. The service is very good. The menu is extensive with lots of interesting dishes. The food was either average or very bad. We met friends here and had halibut, lamb, and bouillabaisse. The halibut and lamb were okay; nothing spectacular. What they called the bouillabaisse, however, was inedible. It actually was more like a cioppino and was so spicy, you couldn’t taste anything other than heat.

The comprehensive and excellent menu is unique, wonderful and fantastic. Traveled 50 countries and this place is a gem. Worth going to grunge town just for the meal. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfecto!! Matthew took great care of us. The ambience is totally unique.

I hadn't eaten here in quite a while, and was glad to see they have dining in now. My daughter and I had lunch, and it was delicious. Our server was great. My daughter had the French Onion soup, very good, and a simple salad. I had the Yellow beet salad, with Stilton and walnut vinaigrette. Fabulous! I'm already craving that. I also had Duck Pate, which was excellent, just needed a few more toasts. I'll be going back soon!

Really enjoyed our meal in here, loved the restaurant atmosphere and the food, the service was excellent

Excellent atmosphere, meal and service. We enjoyed a wonderfully slow paced meal at Talouse Petit Kitchen. The jambalaya...The Big Easy...was excellent and more than enough for one person. The green beans side was wonderful. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. Our meal was everything a special night out should have been.

Excellent NOLA inspired experience. I read some of the one star reviews and felt compelled to put in my 2 bits. The menu was expansive and had a huge range of options. The food was well executed to a discerning palate. One of our 7 guests had gluten issues and they were very accommodating. Waiter (also a part owner) was quirky, memorable, knowledgeable and friendly all at once in a good way. He was helpful in pairing wines and selecting entrees. Also very good at designing a custom entree to accommodate the gluten allergy. We were delighted with our meal and the experience. Wine list was expansive without being expensive.

I had researched their menu before coming to Seattle. There was a small plate I really wanted which was scallop coins on an applewood bacon. When I got there they did not have the dish on the menu. However the chef accommodated by taking a couple large scallops and bacon, And placing on a medley of black bean and butternut squash compote. The dish was cooked to perfection. It is all a worthwhile establishment to visit and dine at. Staff was accommodating and friendly.

We were lucky to stumble across Toulouse when looking for a nearby highly rated restaurant. We came in for happy hour and were informed that they have one of the best happy hours in the country - we were not disappointed! Our favorite small plates were the Barbeque Shrimp with Grits and the Mussels with Red Basil and Shallots - divine! We also enjoyed the Crawfish Beignets and the butternut squash and mushroom bruschetta. The wait staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere was lovely. We had a great time!

I booked a lunch reservation to take a friend who was coming in from out of town and looking for an appropriate venue. I decided to have an impromptu visit the day before to this establishment based upon the reviews. The reviews were promising and I visited with high expectations but was disappointed in both the service and the food. The hostess initially wanted to seat me by the door and was reluctant to seat me at a table she said initially was reserved. While our server was personable the food was bland and not seasoned well. Others have given it rave reviews but it was a disappointing experience for me.

I've been to New Orleans a lot, and this place has authentic creole and cajun food, from the beignets to the jambalaya. The seats are a little "shabby chic" with duct tape covering them. The menu is extensive -- in fact, maybe too many choices. But everything I tasted was good. I had a creole skillet with shrimp, crawfish and andouille sausage that had a nice kick of heat, and the cheesy grits underneath were the creamiest and tastiest I've ever had. My dad had eggs benedict with fried oysters and bacon and said it was fabulous. One caveat: they automatically add an 8% "COVID" fee on top of your bill, and it goes to the restaurant, not the servers.

It was great to be able to walk over to this restaurant from our Queen Anne Ave hotel though we did have to make a reservation via Open Table as it's quite popular for dinner. Our meal was excellent. The ambiance with all the small tealight candles on the wall was beautiful though we sat by the window in the front. There are 2 TV's but they are not obtrusive to the ambiance. Service was excellent and our meals were too. We loved the fried brussel sprouts.....not really fried but baked to a crisp in a small cast iron type pan and served with a good sauce for dipping. Unfortunately they brought this appetizer at almost the same time as the entrees though they did go together nicely. The shrimp and linguine meal was tasty and the meatloaf dinner was so ample it made great leftovers the next night! Drinks are a bit pricey but good especially the hurricane. We didn't find the noise level loud at all and were very pleased overall.

We checked in to the hotel and wanted to eat somewhere near by and found this restaurant on the what to eat list recommended by the hotel. We love southern food and headed over without any reservations. We waited about 15 mins for a table which was reasonable. We ordered 2 gumbos and the jambalaya which were all rice dishes and the waitress actually made a mentioned that which was nice because some restaurants don't tell you the dishes are similar and you end up eating the same kind of food. We still ordered it anyway and they were all delicious. We ordered the pork cheek entre but it wasn't as good as the reviews. The beignets fell a bit short and was a bit soggy. But the warm feeling of gumbo in your tummy made this a very nice lunch.

Food was Delicious! Serve was good and atmosphere was nice! I would suggest reservations. We didn’t have reservations but was able to sit at a community table.

The ambience and food are surprisingly amazing. Cajun experience reminds you of being back in New Orleans. My best place in my entire Seattle trip. Will visit again

We had the most lovely evening with incredible service, fantastic beverages, fantastic appetizers, main dishes, dessert and champagne to toast with... I would recommend this to everyone. The ambiance was special, the level of service was everything, I really can't say enough other than I can't wait to go back. You can also read my review on OpenTable. Stefan, our waiter was on top of every moment without being on top of every moment. I have no idea how he did it and made it look so easy. It's not. The candles on the walls that created a glow in the place, the music, the murmur of people talking and laughing and then the culinary part - delicious cocktails and fantastic food. We loved every moment. I highly recommend Toulouse Petit for dinner. Can't wait to come back!

We used to go every Sunday . We went today and the cofee was very biter and the biscuits where not as good as always.

I was looking forward to the fried green tomatoes with crab. The crab was perfect and high quality. The tomatoes were too spicy as was the sauce. I would have tried mixing mayonnaise with the sauce but my server was very busy and didn't notice I was not eating the tomatoes. The spice was in/on the tomatoes. Others might enjoy that level of hot.

Truly the best restaurant around. Love this place for the breakfast happy hour. Best bloody mary’s in North America. It is a must stop when in Seattle.

Toulouse was a really good find. Slightly off the beaten Pike Street track, but more than worth you taking a slight detour too. Service was very friendly and speedy, and the restaurant has a very cool aesthetic vibe. But the food is what makes it special. I had the steak with crawfish topping, and both were amazing, and my wife had a great roast chicken. The cocktails washed the food down beautifully. We even found room for the torte and pecan pie dessert, and were so full when we left we could barely move. Deeeeee-licous!

I dined last Sunday at this restaurant. A few quick observations: The menu is huge. The food was overall good, B to B minus. But this is not a restaurant for south Louisiana dishes. At our table, we had both the seafood and fried chicken and sausage gumbo dishes (nobody puts fried chicken in a gumbo). They were tasty, but more like a stew than a gumbo. I had the jambalaya entree. It was tasty, but was not jambalaya, which is more like a paella. We also had the barbecue shrimp and grits. The shrimp were overcooked, and real barbecue shrimp have a ton of butter and black pepper missing in this dish. And what came with the shrimp were not grits, but polenta or even mashed potatoes, though the server after the meal said they were grits. The head chef at this restaurant needs to find a good south Louisiana cookbook and learn how to cook a real gumbo and jambalaya. Again, what I had was tasty, but not nearly as good as the real dishes they were claiming to serve.

Take your time to review the menu. It is extensive but good! Our waiter was very helpful in navigating us through it, so we all got something we liked. The ambience of the place is great with all the candles on the walls. The restaurant is within walking distance of the Spaceneedle. So we were able to watch the sunset from the top after a great meal.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant and said it is a local neighborhood favorite. We made reservations and the restaurant was PACKED on a Tuesday evening. The menu is huge! almost overwhelming - everything from duck to beef, to pork to seafood. Was afraid with such a huge menu it would not be very good but it was! The food was delicious! The service was wonderful giving time to enjoy a glass of wine before serving the food. Wish we had saved room for dessert but the dinners were too good to not clean our plates.

I consider myself a Creole/Cajun aficionado, having been to New Orleans and vicinity multiple times, and having cooked myself (mostly from Paul Prudhomme's excellent cookbooks) more times than I can count. Bring your taste buds and your appetite.

We recently ate here and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a wide variety of options to choose from. We would definitely eat here again.

Our last visit was for cocktails and we loved it. This time brunch. Big portion of delicious eggs benny for me plus Creme brûlée French toast for my husband and French press coffee. Huge menu and some unique creole inspired options if you want to have something less cookie cutter. You won’t need to eat much the rest of the day!

I was staying close by and walked into this place by chance. I grabbed a seat at the bar and decided on the happy hour three course special. They provided a lot of options and I highly recommend it if you are early. Staff was great but a little to busy to be quick. The food was absolutely outstanding and I will be returning on future trips. One of the best dining experiences I have had in the last five years.

I always recommend here for friends who are visiting. Lunch lines can be long but lots of variety on the menu and great attentive staff! Beignets are awesome.

I really don't know how to describe my experience here. I came after 10 during the late night happy hour. I tasted a bit of this and that. Each plate was different than anything I had ever had. The cauliflower and leeks vichyssoise was somehow both comforting and lively--like a warm blanket and a ride on a surfboard all at once. That theme presented itself more or less in all of the dishes we tried. The garlic fennel sausage with tomato basil jam had this level of balance that helped me understand what the word balance meant. Nothing screamed. Everything spoke. I can't wait to get back and work my way through the rest of this menu.

We were a party of 6 for an early dinner on a Saturday night. All of us thoroughly enjoyed everything that we ordered. We were seated at the table that we requested but it was still a bit noisy. Great service and huge menu selections. The ambience was classy and the decor was impressive. It was quite a memorable dinner and we look forward to going again next time we are in Seattle!

We ate here for an anniversary dinner and we absolutely loved everything about it! The menu is huge and we definitely took our time deciding but everything was wonderful. Many options for all diets and very accommodating staff with great recommendations! It was a bit hard to find as it’s not very labeled from the outside but it lent well for the cozy atmosphere. A hidden gem and I’d recommend to anyone!

I'm not a huge fan of canjun/ create food, and rarely have it, but I am still dreaming of the incredible Jambalaya!!! It was super spicy, which I asked for, and divine! We started with the baguette and salted butter (which made it perfect!). My friend had a cup of gumbo, which was very good, then had the halibut for dinner. Shared beignets, which I haven't had for probably 30 years (and at the original Cafe du Monde in New Orleans!). Served with a chocolaty chicory dipping sauce it was perfection! I thought it was a great experience - make reservations!

Came with my family while on vacation, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The vibe is great for brunch. I recommend the beignets and the french toast - my family agrees : the best french toast we’ve ever had!!!! Would love to come back anytime!

Being from the south we were a little skeptical of the gulf seafood and NOLA classic dishes on the menu, but they delivered. The muffuletta was great as were the crab and avocado salad and gulf shrimp. My husband always orders fried green tomatoes whenever he sees them on a menu. The fried green tomatoes with Dungeness Crab were the best!

My mother (who is an older woman and no longer has a job) ordered a gift card from here for me and my wife’s anniversary. I called to ask them to refund it because it was more money than she should be spending. When I spoke with Lauren to have the gift card refunded back to my mother, she seemed more concerned with keeping her money because they refused to refund it.

Great food and atmosphere! We stumbled into this gem of a restaurant and we're extremely pleased with everything from the service, food and price. A must try if you like Creole Cajun food👍

I left this restaurant in a food coma. Everything was absolutely marvelous. The service is great. The food was great and the drinks were great. We shared a dessert which was good, but the rest of the food was so exceptional. I would clearly recommend going back again.

The service was very efficient, the dining environment excellent and the menu range varied enough to please all our six diners. There were twists on Southern U.S. Creole renditions that worked well. All at our table were impressed.

My brother and I met for happy hour to take advantage of their amazing happy hour menu. It was excellent. We took advantage of this pre fixe menu of three courses. I had the Tolouse Market salad which was filled with delicious assorted veggies including green beans and beets in a delicious vinaigrette. My main course was the jumbo barbecued shrimp New Orleans style with grits. To. Die. For. The spicy sauce on the shrimp was lick the plate worthy. The beignet for dessert was scrumptious. They also had great happy hour selection of wine. My brother tried the seafood gumbo and really liked it but we both decided the shrimp were the star of our choices. Will definitely return at some point.

Booked this restaurant off of open table as it was in the neighborhood of where we were staying. Based on the pictures and a quick glance at the menu, I had a feeling it would be great. The ambiance was fantastic and the food was just as amazing. The only little issue had to do with parking, little to none. It is street parking or a lot on the backside of the block that is dark. Take a taxi/ride-share or walk if you can. It was raining the night we went and a little farther for us to walk. Also, we felt a little rushed by the server, even though she was very pleasant. There wasn't a rush for tables and she asked about dessert before everyone was finished.

My husband and I went to dinner at Tolouse Petit for our anniversary, and it was amazing! It was our first time visiting and we were delighted with the food and the ambiance! We shared the Jambalaya and the Fennel & Pork Gnocchi, both were insanely good! Then we ended the night with the creme brulee trio which was to die for! If they served the hazelnut creme brulee in a tub I'd go for it. Overall great place for dinner!

This place is a miracle in a land of nonexistent late night food. Not only do they serve food until 11:30-11:45ish, but they have a large menu with MANY options spanning from delicious seafood, to desserts, to soup & salad. And-my god!- everything I tried was fantastic!!!! I admittedly did go light, as I just got off a plane and while I was hungry, my stomach wasn’t feeling anything crazy would be well suited for it. The beignets were an absolute dream. My French onion soup, garden greens salad, and huge portion of fries & bread were just phenomenal. I wish I had more of an appetite to try their crab, po’ boys, and gumbo! Next time. And a HUGE shoutout to the gentleman who was my bartender/server. I have seldomly had a waiter in Seattle that treated me with genuine thoughtfulness and care as this man did. He was so friendly, so kind, and just a delightful, yet professional person to have as my guide for the experience that was Touslouse Petit. Because of him and the food, I will always recommend this spot to everyone I know in Seattle. Thanks again Touslouse!

what a lovely restaurant - so hip and chic. great drinks. appetizers were delicious. one of us ordered an entree that was so spicy it was inedible and the waitress responded immediately - whisked the dish away and made suggestions for an alternative. homemade pasta is delicious as is the lamb burger - surprisingly not overcooked and perfectly spiced. thanks!!!!!

A big place with vibrancy, although not overwhelming. Attentive service and an exciting menu of New Orleans (LA) style cooking. The food can be spicy, so be careful. Generous portions, such that we enjoyed the leftovers the next day for lunch. Would return in order to try other tempting entrees.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal here last night before We began our Thanksgiving tine together!! Everyone was super nice and helpful in ordering! The atmosphere was so warm and cozy! The food was top notch and the drinks were phenomenal! Thank you for helping our family have a lovely evening together!

The first amazing thing is volume of choices on the menu - both drinks and food. The St. Charles sangria is excellent, as are the fried fish tacos and the oysters. The hot crab roll is an interesting starter. Of the mains that we ordered, the winner was the "Lucy." We may all want to have that next time. The Scalops Risotto was smaller than I had expected. The Seafood gumbo was good and large enough. Of the desserts, the beignets were good, as was the bread pudding, but the bananas Foster were A-MA-ZING. They don't actually light them on fire at the table, but the flavor of the cake and the bananas topped with ice cream is phenomenal. The service was excellent, and the ambiance is also great. Since this is a high-end place, you pay a high-end price, but it was a lovely evening with memorable food and drink.

It's a little pricey -- but since we were on vacation, we decided to splurge. Excellent brunch; I had French Toast (huge amount) and my husband had banana pecan pancakes. We couldn't eat all of it so had it packaged up and gave to a homeless man who was glad to get something to eat!

We went for a late lunch on aTuesday. We had reservations, but did apparently need one, it was half empty. I would encourage reservations anyway. We started with the Brussel Sprouts Fritti that were great. For a started or side, it would be probably better for 3 or 4. My wife had the Cajun Grilled Chicken Breast Po'Boy and she recalled enjoyed it. I had the Toulouse Seafood Gumbo that was also very good. the service was very good. If you are driving there, budget extra time. Parking is horrible and you may have to walk several blocks, if you're lucky.

The food was fine, and the atmosphere was fun, but our waiter brought us two dishes that we didn't order. 'He was a nice funny guy and acted as though the chef had sent us these items, or he was giving us these items. We were grateful and while we enjoyed the food he brought, we were surprised to see the items on our bill adding up to forty bucks. We could have caused a scene, but we chose not to, and we just paid, even adding a tip for the now higher bill. If you go here, and a waiter brings things you didn't order, beware. It's a scam. In addition, we waited for quite some time, and felt as though the host gave our table to a guy who broke in front of us. Rather than apologize, he gave us a dubious tale of why he was seated first. I hate griping, but two offenses in one night is too much.

Housemade Fennel Sausage Scramble was delicious. Nice change from ordinary breakfast. Potatoes were fantastic. Nice atmosphere and good music while enjoying breakfast

Beautiful dining area, a spectacle space with a plethora of mini candles illuminated the restaurant. Creole cuisine, Asperigas with prosciutto, ($15.00), grilled with a salad and beautifully poached egg. Very flavor-filled. Crawfish beignets, ($14.00), four cookies with a red-pepper sauce, could have more crawfish. 3 glasses of house wine totaled $40.00. Very good place.

While visiting Seattle we went to brunch at Toulouse . It was the delicious . We all enjoyed our food very much. Love the beignets. Very cool unique place. Will be back.

The Toulouse Petit Kitchen and Lounge are likely better known for their lunch and evening meals, however their breakfast should be in that category. Certainly on weekends they have a consistently large crowd that they were able to accommodate and seat guests with only a short wait. The staff were busy but also very attentive to the needs of their customer. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant I was pleasantly greeted by the hostess and seated very quickly. My server continued making me feel very welcome in their establishment and was attentive - despite being very busy - throughout my meal. Loved the openness of their location, wide selection of menu items and in particular their unique style of serving my black coffee - came in a french press. Then again, this is Seattle. Enough though the restaurant was full and bustling, I never felt the need to hurry to free up my table. I had a leisurely breakfast, read a good part of the newspaper and enjoyed the ambiance of this well run restaurant.

The Menu was overwhelming and our sweet wait staff made suggestions about her favorite entrees. I took her suggestion and ordered the French Onion Soup and the jambalaya. She said these entrees were a favorite. The Onion soup was nothing special, the onions were undercooked. I was expecting more. The Jambalaya was just okay. I loved that the dish had celery in it but the flavor profile fell short. Also the dish was heavy on the rice and chicken with few pieces of shrimp and andouille sausage. I again was disappointed. Our waitress said the sausage was house made and in my dish there were just a few pieces. I felt the dishes were overpriced. Our waitress was lovely. I felt like I had ordinary cuisine not French/Creole cuisine.

A great place to go for a meal! My wife and I recently had breakfast at this restaurant. The service was great and so was the food. The servings are large, so bring an appetite.

Overall an amazing dining experience! The staff is engaging and do a great job. The food is creative, flavorful and a real treat. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and well adapted for Covid dining The cheeses as an appetizer were all brilliant and the deserts great as well. Our dinner was so amazing we returned for the second night of our visit as well. What a great place to dine!

Great place to eat. Lots of dishes with Andouille sausages, taso ham, but unfortunately NO GRITS. We have only eaten here for breakfast, which is outstanding. I had the Dungeness Crab Scram which was loaded with crab. Came with Potatoes. My husband had the breakfast meatloaf with over easy eggs and potatoes. Both were very memorable. Best breakfast place we have found in Seattle! only French press coffee which is a little pricey.

What has been said about happy hour is so true. The food and drinks were outstanding. We ordered the combo meal, the fish was one of the best ever had. We were able to walk there from Space Needle.

We'd been to TP for dinner, but didn't even realize they served breakfast, too. When the desk at Mediterranean Inn suggested it, we were all over it. No wait for a table, though you should make a reservation to be safe. I had Acadian Benedict - Dungeness crab, prawns, and Andouille with a Creole hollandaise sauce -- OMG, was it wonderful! Spouse had Caramel French Toast and couldn't finish her huge serving. We also shared an order of beignets -- how can you NOT get beignets at a Creole restaurant -- get the LARGE order even if you're alone so you have some to take home.

We were seated promptly then forgotten. Finally the wait person took our drink and meal order (we had decided what to eat while we waited forever). I had the "Nola" Salad which was excellent and my husband had the scallops (which were some of the best we've had!). It's noisy but we can handle that. It just seemed service was poor.

This is a very fine restaurant. That must be why it's so often full. We had a terrific late night (11.30) dinner there after the ballet. I haven't been to New Orleans so won't comment on its "authenticity", but the food was certainly very good and worth the money. Excellent service too.

The Toulouse Petite dinner at Queen Anne, Seattle. Thank you Harrison, who expertly served us. Chilled Prawns in a spicy red remoulade, local Penn Cove mussels with red basil and shallots with crusty bread, crab ravigote over fried green tomatoes, asparagus wrapped with SD prosciutto, garlic-fennel sausage with tomato-basil jam with cheesy crusty bread, and finally bread pudding French toast with local coffee ice cream washed down with a walnut old fashioned.

I came for lunch on a Sunday. The place was packed. Had the seafood gumbo which was flavourful , big portion and spicy. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The menu is extensive. I saw many good looking drinks and food being served.

Took our parents for Father’s Day. Waitress forgot our drinks, incorrect food arrived at our table 3 separate times....and to top it off at the end she told us she bought our desserts... which we thanked her for...but then the desserts were still in the bill.

This is a cute restaurant with nice ambiance, and a happy hour from 4 to 6, as well as later in the evening. We had eaten here a few times at least 18 months ago, and this time the food wasn't as fabulous as we had remembered it being. Chef change? Off day? Bad memory? Don't know. Our favorite was the gumbo. Also, the happy hour menu lists a fried oyster salad, and doesn't say it has bacon in it (though, apparently, the regular menu does mention that). One of our party is vegetarian, though she does eat seafood, and she had told our server that, and had had her check to see if the seafood gumbo had meat in it. It did, so she couldn't order it, and, instead, she ordered the fried oyster salad. But halfway through eating it, she realized it had bacon in it, and she had been eating it, and she began to feel nauseous. The server did ensure that she didn't have to pay for her salad, but it's too bad that the happy hour menu wasn't clear, and it's too bad that the server didn't alert our friend about the bacon even though the server had already been told she didn't eat meat. It rather spoiled the whole dinner, certainly for our friend, who couldn't eat anything else after that.

Beautiful decor but beyond that totally disappointing. Lack of Service on a not very busy Mon night, we stopped counting how many times our waitress apologized for forgetting us. Way over priced for mediocre food. Barely any of the tiny gnocchi in the main entree, our $18 beignets were raw in middle. Again very disappointing.

Went to Toulouse on Friends Recommendation & was Fantastic from start to finish. Wait staff excellent. Food flavorful & wonderful. Went there to try their Bloody Marys on friends recommendations, they were okay but French Press Coffee & Food superseded expectations.

The arugula salad with dungeness crab was a perfect starter. Then the eggs benedict was perfect as was the Gumbo. It was a large portion. The walnut old fashioned was incredible. If I could, I would have one sent to me every week in South Carolina. Banana cream caramel pie and some sort of brownie with ice cream finished off an amazing lunch. Both were large size portions as well. Our favorite place!!

From out of town, had breakfast here our first morning. Tough to narrow down from the choices on the menu. Ended up with the Creole Biscuits and gravy as well as the Arcadiana Scramble. The biscuits were slightly tough but the gravy and potatoes made up for it. The scramble was s perfect blend of seafood, sausage, veggies, and eggs. DON'T FORGET THE BEIGNETS!!!

Worth Writing Home About! Wow. Just wow! To start with, the ambiance here is warm and engaging, it's like stepping into a warm hug. The service (while a bit slow) was friendly and professional. Our waiter's suggestions were appreciated. I ordered the foraged mushroom and butternut squash, gnocchi. Let me say, it almost made me weep. Definitely love at first bite, and I would order it again, and again, and again! Yes it was that damn good! Mr Wonderful ordered the Oysters Benedict and there wasn't a morsel left on his plate. To end our meal, we had beignets. Positively a 5 out of 5 and we are looking forward to returning.

Loud, packed restaurant with good (not great) food. Mixed salad, thin French onion soup, large spicy lamb burger, and lamb sausage with lentils and diced squash were a nice, not great, assortment to try. Total cost with a soda at $64.

I have made this my special occasion/family visiting restaurant. My New Orleans relatives give their seafood dishes an A+ Even in a large group where everyone orders something different, each person has said that their choice was delicious. You won’t regret it.

I went there twice. I was new to lower Queen Anne, so I was looking for a regular, go to place. The first time I was alone. It was midweek about 7 pm. I was told the typical twenty minute wait. Thirty minutes later I went in and was told ten more minutes. Well, about sixty minutes later I realized there weren’t going to give a table to a sole diner so I left. The second time I was with my wife. We were seated promptly. I was overwhelmed by the menu but, surprisingly, the food was fine. The server was efficient and professional but the message was “get them in, get them fed, get them out”. I won’t return. There are several ‘go to’ restaurants in the neighborhood that welcome regulars where I feel valued and appreciated.

We had very good food and excellent service. As we don’t come into Seattle as often as we used to due the high cost of everything, it has been some years since we’ve been here. And we weren’t disappointed. It was great. We will definitely return, especially if we’re going to the Seattle Center. There are several reviewers unhappy with the cost. And they’re not wrong. This restaurant is expensive but definitely not alone. Restaurants are a tough business these days especially in this city. Their menu is online and you can prepare yourself for the prices and fees. If it’s too much, Dick’s Drive-in is a block away.

We enjoyed a great dinner. we started with the fried green tomatoes but substituted shrimp ( because of a Crab allergy ), for mains we both had the Shrimp, Andouille and Crawfish over Creamy corn grits. Both excellent, and regardless of the 2 stars for heat, spicy but not hot. We split a Beignets and Ice cream to finish, I don't know how one person could finish this desert. We sat in both 5, which was still loud but not a loud as the bar. Our server was Kayla who was very efficient yet friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We would come back in a minute. Just to note we picked our hotel to be close to this restaurant. Good choice!

The staff and service here was great. I came in and got takeout from the bar because there were no opening until 8:45pm. When I entered they said I could ask the bar if they would take a to go order but it was quite busy. I found a single stool and sat down. The bartender gave me a water right away until he was available to help me. Then I asked if he could do a to go and he said sure. I asked him for a drink he makes best and it wasn’t a disappointment. I order the four items, Mad Hatter Chicken, Jambalaya, Seasonal Salad and Panseared Prawns. All items were great even after bringing them home. The bartender knew when I needed another drink and kept them coming until food was ready. I would eat here again and try more items. Make a reservation and sit down or take out from the bar.

The food and service are incredible. We will absolutely be back the next time we’re in Seattle. The crab and blood orange salad was delicious and the ribeye was one of the best we’ve had. It’s a great spot for datenight!

Our party of four secured a booth that allowed us a good view across the floor of this restaurant where we watched animated conversations taking place among nearly all the customers and enjoyed the wall decorations. We built the meal around scallops, blackened rib eye, seafood gumbo and french onion soup supplemented by pommes frites and green beans and followed by sorbet and ice cream. Accompanied by a wheat beer, cider, an amber ale and a couple of red wines, the bill came to $175 before tip. It was worth it.

Recently I had reservations scrambled and the food was not as labeled. Specifically, we came for the bananas foster, and it was similar to what you might get at an Applebees - no flambe at the table (a requirement for true bananas foster), no hint of rum or brandy, just bananas in a thick cinnamon sauce with some candied walnuts, a dark cake and a scoop of ice cream. At the prices they charge I expect authentic preparation of every dish, or a disclaimer on the menu (brunch for two was nearly $200). When we pointed out that what we were served was not traditional bananas foster, they basically say "well, that's how we make it." Also, on my reservation (through Open Table) I put "booth, please" under requests. The woman that checked us intimated that wasn't a real request because I included the word "please". Seriously? I should write "give me a f@#$ booth" to get a booth reservation? How very weird! This used to be one of my favorite places but it has changed. Many other places in Seattle that are less expensive with less attitude and you actually get the dishes you ordered, not cheaper knock-offs.

I had high hopes going into Toulouse Petit but unfortunately, what I got was a pricey disappointment. The menu was beautiful and extensive but in retrospect I wonder how a kitchen can put real care and consistency into that many dishes. My shrimp and grits were a soupy underwhelming experience. The shrimp were overcooked and the fishy smell took over the table, overshadowing the otherwise nicely flavored , creamy grits. Other folks at my table fared slightly better with the chicken-fried chicken and an eggs Benedict. However, we all agreed that the breakfast potatoes were dry and over-seasoned. But the biggest letdown was the beignets. Instead of pillowy squares of powdered sugar heaven, these were dense, flat, flavorless triangles. To add insult to injury, the check arrived with a mandatory 20% gratuity, a $4 service fee, a $5 “living wage” fee AND a credit card fee. I get that times are tough for small businesses but we all work hard for our money and it’s frustrating to feel nickel-and-dimed for a mediocre experience.

Loved the decor. Great service and great food. Had the strawberry bliss mocktail which was yummy. Loved the beet salad and French onion soup was good too. Others in my party had the barbecue shrimp, crawfish beignets and the lamb sausage. Everyone loved their food. Bananas Foster dessert was delicious

This was a short walk from our hotel and it was recommended by the front desk staff. Although it is an upper priced breakfast menu, the food quality is excellent as is the service. The view includes the Space Needle, which was a plus for us tourists. My wife had the duck confit and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I loved everything about this restaurant. Like walking into a magical grotto. Worth coming to USA for!! Our dishes were all delicious (Catalan prawns yum!) but the Cauliflower Leeks and Asparagus Vicyssoise is one of the best things I have ever eaten. My signature cocktail the Madame Toulouse was lovely as well! The wine menu was extensive and the manager helped us pick the perfect bottle. Only fault is I wanted to try everything on the very large menu!!

We actually ate here twice in our visit to the area. Once on purpose for a great meal with friends for a wedding and again when we got takeout the night before we left. The atmosphere here was pleasantly amazing and several precautions were in place to ensure proper protection from COVID19. One of the parts we were especially impressed with was all of the small candles along the walls. Everyone was amazed at the food selection available and nobody in our left had anything but good comments about the food and service we received. I had the jambalaya and the spice was perfect! The night we ordered takeout, we had actually not realized that it was the same place we had eaten previously with our friends and again, we were amazed.

My husband and I search for fun and interesting breakfast spots and were extremely pleased with this find. We sat at the bar and Brian and Bryan took amazing care of us. The Bloody Marys were off the charts. The Crispy Tasso Cake with Cajun Hollandise was recommended by Brian and I loved it. My husband had the Acadiana Benedict was amazingly loaded with crab and and andouille sausage. They accommodated my husband's request for corn polenta cakes. One warning, for good reason, the restaurant is very popular for breakfast. We love Bourbon and the bar contained a wide variety of options that we will be returning to experience.

Pathetic service, B grade at best Mimosas, and food has gone downhill. Hard to believe we once referred people to eat here. Sad state these days.

Server has a bad attitude, This resturant has to improve their staff’s skill in terms of understanding customer’s needs.

Wonderful unique atmosphere. Menu very extensive and took a while to navigate through. Onion soup wAs a little too salty but crab with green fried tomatoes was excellent . Pricey but enough variety on menu for every budget. Will return to try other items.

We were staying a couple of blocks over and made it to happy hour brunch on a sunny Friday. No wait, and wonderfully friendly service--along with a tasty bloody mary and amazing menu of choices. The food came out promptly and was divine. We liked it so much that we returned for the regular happy hour that evening (lucked out on a table in the bar). Highly recommended!

We had Valentine's Day dinner at Toulouse, luckily able to get in given all the snow we had in Seattle that weekend. It was my first visit there and I loved it! The ambience is delightful, the staff is courteous and the food was delicious. I felt very comfortable and safe in their restaurant. The plexiglass walls that have been installed around the booth are very secure yet blend in, so you don't feel like you are trapped in this little area. We had the brussel sprouts which were delicious on their own and even better when paired with the Sriracha rouille. The Imperial crab appetizer was also very good as was the leek and crab soup. For my entree I had the seafood bouillabaisse which had halibut, scallops, prawns and mussels all perfectly cooked. He had steak which he loved. Of course since it was a special event, we HAD to get dessert. The pear walnut bread pudding was my absolute favorite thing and I would go back just for that alone. The Banana Foster was also pretty darn good.

I have been to this restaurant probably 10 times and every meal is fabulous (I used to go when I lived there and never miss it when I visit). They do all the old Cajun classics plus plenty of their own things. Everything has massive flavor. It’s always packed and happening and is a great drink spot as well. Their breakfast/brunch is awesome with spicy biscuits and gravy (the Tasso sauce is awesome). If you love Cajun and you visit Seattle, you have to go here.

Toulouse Kitchen is a great restaurant, with lively ambience, great service and a huge menu and wine list. They have 5-6 salads, appetizers, pasta, seafood, meat and some great New Orleans style dishes. I had pan-fried scallops with shrimp and crabmeat, with asparagus, layered over mashed potatoes in a great sauce. My wife had Bolognese pasta that was equally good. This place has something for everyone. I would definitely recommend. Only a 10 minute cab/Uber from downtown Seattle.

Although I choose the seafood gumbo, I really want to try the jambalaya next time. We had 8:30 reservations and got there early. They couldn’t seat us and said it’d be closer to our reservation time which was fine. Good service. The food overall is decent if not on the pricey side. I’m not sure if we just expected more? I’m not knocking it, I think it was a good experience and we had to try it. It’s just that it was expensive for decent food.

The menu is endless. So variety is not the issue. First Pricing: $7 for bread for two, Second asked for Salmon the waitress said “it was out of season” it was March! Last the decor, very dark. Not my first choice to go back.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff looked after us, with our waitress offering help and advice if needed for the vast menu. We have fried sprouts to begin which were excellent followed by Big Easy jambalaya and the Lucy Shrimp and house made Andouille for main. All were delicious and swiftly served, jambalaya was so flavourful with great spice. We then chose beignets for desert and the cheese board We chose here for the exciting menu and the lovely ambience to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were pleased with our choice. A lovely place.

I had been to this restaurant before and couldn't wait to go again since I was visiting Seattle. Two friends and I went to the restaurant at 3:15 pm, and we had to hurry our order because the kitchen was getting ready to close. I ordered a Wagyu steak, like I had enjoyed the previous time I was there. What I got was NOT the tender, juicy, delicious meat that Wagyu is famous for. My meat, ordered medium rare, but came medium. needed muscle to cut. No juices flowed from this lump of beef. The cut reminded me of what you can get at Kroger's. I didn't complain because I knew the kitchen was shutting down, and I didn't want to inconvenience the people who dined with me. Service was good. When I asked the waitress for the check. I couldn't believe what I saw. There was a 5% "living wage" surcharge added to the bill. Plus, if I wanted to use my credit card, I would be assessed an additional 12.75% for charging the meal. So, I paid cash. I travel with cash for emergencies, and $170 (meals, 5% extra charge and a 20% tip) hit my wallet hard. I will not return to this restaurant. I doubt the two diners with me will go there again, either. Their meals were adequate but not spectacular. Too bad. The first time I went had been such a good experience. This time, it presented a crappy piece of steak (a lie--NOT WAGYU) and an outrageous add-on for using a credit card. Who pays cash for meals anymore? All the other restaurants I visited in my six days in Seattle took my card with no extra charges.

We found Toulouse Petit on Yelp and it looked really good so we decided to give it a try. From downtown, we took the monorail like typical tourists and got to Seattle Center and Toulouse Petit was a 10 minute walk to the Queen Anne neighborhood. We walked in and were seated almost instantly (this being Tuesday, it probably would be easier to get a seat than on a Saturday or Sunday - more on this in a minute). We noticed very good spacing between tables and plexiglass shields between all tables. They dropped off water and paper menus. At the top, the menu said Toulouse Petit was voted Seattle's most popular brunch numerous years in a row so I would think a Sat or Sun may require a reservation (just guessing). We took a while to order because the menu was huge - we had just missed happy hour brunch because it ended at 11 and we got there at 11:30. We got the large pot of French pressed coffee and I got a sazerac and my girlfriend got the bloody mary. Our server (who was really good but we neglected to get his name) brought our drinks and gave us more time for the food. We ultimately settled on the beignets for her app and a goat cheese omelette for her main. It was restaurant week in Seattle so I chose off the special restaurant week menu which had 2 courses for 20 bucks - gumbo for starter and jambalaya for main. The food was really good. Beignets were warm and chewy triangles with a side of creme anglaise. My girlfriend loved her omelette and it was generously sized with potatoes on the side - she gave me what she couldn't finish. I did not love it as much but that's only because I don't like goat cheese. My restaurant week specials were good too. The gumbo was hearty with some nice fried chicken pieces in it. The jambalaya had sausage and 3 nicely done shrimp in it. Good food, great service, good drinks. If you make it on time for hh brunch, you could get many of the entrees for 3 bucks less and bloody Marys for 8 bucks. We missed it but no biggie. With tax, tip, 2 drinks, large coffee pot, restaurant week for me, app and entree for her, the bill came out to about 102 bucks.

The service was horrible. The waitress had a negative attitude and acted like she was better than us and her job, she wasn't paying full attention when taking our order and then unsurprisingly got it wrong, was generally inattentive to our table for long periods of time, and impatient. I'm both surprised and not at all surprised to read other reviewers saying the service was poor. I'm sure like any place there are some staff that are great and others that could use some more training but I was really disappointed in the service here to the point I would not return or recommend it to others despite the food being pretty good.

Wonderful dining experience with delicious food and exceptional service. As lovers of Cajun food, we were totally delighted with our selections. This was our best dining experience in Seattle!

The menu has a lot of local seafood options. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable of food / drink choices. He steered us in the right direction for entrees. We were pleased with the local salmon and ceviche. I highly recommend the crème brulee dessert.

Great restaurant with fabulous food. I had the Creole prawns with linguine and loved the dish. My husband had the House made garlic- fennel andouille sausage pasta and thought it was fabulous. We would definitely return.

We enjoyed our dinner here. We were a party of five so we had the opportunity to try many things. Everything was very good. The service was attentive.

Have eaten here several times previously but not for a while. I remembered delicious French onion soup, great salads. Last night was disappointing. I get that everyone is raising prices, and inflation is here. But $13 for a small cup of French onion soup that was mostly broth, a small soggy piece of French bread, a few onions and a little bit of cheese? The salad was a bit better, big enough to share. But mostly greens. Supposedly there were green beans, along with beets and potatoes. Yes a few beets and potatoes but did not see any green beans. Wine prices high as well.

Had a quick breakfast in this place due to good reviews - it was some sort of test. First impression was bad. Whole place was smelling like boiled pork fat. I mean really bad - enough to cut my appetite. As mentioned by some other reviewers: exhaust pipes were dirty and full of dust. I choose a small table next to entrance, table was not in great condition, not very clean-sticky. Noticed that after some customers left, the plates have been removed and table not cleaned at all. Waiters service was good - maybe a little bit too pushy but polite and professional. Food was looking good - tasting good, but not seasoned at all. Nothing impressive, after all it was just a breakfast. Ordered drinks were in correct quantities and qualitiy. Surprised to see that they used a -very- innapropiate glass for Whiskey (train your bartender please). Drinks should -always- come with a little napkin (hey even on a plane you get one!), it`s not the case here, only one napkin can be found on the table - and that`s all you`ve got. Coffee came in the same way, straight on the table, no napkin and -if i remeber correctly - no plate for the cup. At least it was acceptable quality (French coffee). On my way out i noticed the generous amount of dirt on the outside windows. If you`re looking for a cheap looking diner and you don`t care about details - this is your place. If you need a nice -a la carte restaurant, go somewhere else. This is not what you`re looking for. My advice is to close the place for one day and give it a deep cleaning. It stinks and looks bad. Cleanliness is a key factor in food industry- and they should know this.

Fabulous food and service. A great place for a date, bachelorette party or just a good meal. The restaurant is non descriptive as the side has a mural of Seattle Storm players - but inside is pure joy. Street parking only and full bar.

Fantastic! I ordered a mixed salad with greens, potatoes, nicoise. It went well with a small plate of prawns. Beignets for dessert added to the meal. This place has no signage outside, so you have to know where you are going. Make a reservation to get an evening table. We will go again!

A local recommended this restaurant as I was spending a few nights alone in Seattle before I made my way to Mount Rainer. I reserved an early dinner spot (solo) at 6pm and this place was already full. The menu is vast and I was completely spoilt for choice. Both starter and main were incredible and I wasnt disappointed. The service was impecible and although this restaurant is moderately more expensive than most, the quality, portions and taste of the food were second to none. The atmostphere is good with ambient lighting. They do have big screens behind the bar showing sports, which spoilt the ambience for me slightly because it takes away the fact that you are n a GOOD restaurant, not a sports bar. However, that being said, I couldnt reccomend this eatery enough and have recommended to others who have since visited and were also not disappointed. 2 courses, a beer and service $60 dollars for one.

Food and service excellent. Noise extremely unpleasant - music unnecessarily loud - after we were there about a half hour it was actually turned up again! We asked to turn back down and they did, but still loud.

Well, let me tell you. This restaurant was a great find while in Seattle Washington. Our plates consist of the following: Beignets, which were light and fluffy and delicious. The Shrimp and grits were everything. My hubby had the cream caramel french toast with strawberries and of course, we had drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We caught a Lyft to the restaurant but decided to venture out on the bus and the hostess was very kind to share his app to direct us to the bus routes. The waitress was great as well and constantly checked on us. A fun, clean, and great place to visit when in Seattle.

I’m a local. Went to a movie at SIFF Uptown, walked across the street, and made the happy hour. It was great. Huge selection, dinner sized proportions of high quality food. The space is also very cool. It will become a habit.

DO NOT miss booking dinner here while you're in Seattle. Every last drop of every small plate, entree and dessert we ordered was well seasoned, balanced, original and delicious. The mock-tails were also great and the variety offered by the menu was a feast for the eyes and fun to read. Thanks for a wonderful dinner.

We tried this place for breakfast because it was on our way home and based on this experience we are enthusiastic fans. The menu has more variety and more interesting choices than most restaurants we have visited. The creole dishes and the grits and the biscuits were outstanding. The coffee could have been a little stronger for my taste, but that’s a minor quibble. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu!

Great service and fantastic food! We were fortunate to score a quick reservation for 4 adults. Spendy...plan to pay $ 50 a plate. Thats the cost of good food these days! Our table agreed that the Jumbalaya was the best entre we ordered. Healthy serving size as well. And the spice can be adjusted for some us mild Midwesterners! If you have room for dessert..try the Creme Brule trio...and the Pecan Pie was incredible. I'm not normally a fan of pecans, but this pie was on a scale of its own.

Delicious food and nice atmosphere. The receptionist at the hotel we were staying at recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We choose the happy hour menu as we weren’t looking for a heavy meal. We ordered the sliders, crabmeat beignets with hot pepper jelly and Catalan-style prawns…all were delicious. A bonus was they had Deep Eddy’s grapefruit vodka(my favorite!) . Stephanie our server was so friendly and helpful when trying to decide what we should order. I highly recommend this restaurant and be sure to make a reservation if going for dinner.

Let’s start withe the inside of the restaurant. Beautiful with lighted candles on the walls and tables. The next great thing was our server Nichole. She was amazing. We started with cocktails and the oysters Felix, some good bread to go with it. Our meal consisted of the halibut and Lucy’s Dinner. The halibut was prepared to perfection. Lucy’s combination of shrimp, crawfish and andouille served over grits was amazing. We closed out the evening with coffee and an amazing pecan pie.

My family came here on the fourth of July to celebrate my dad's birthday. We were so excited about this restaurant, especially with their large and adventurous menu. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp with Linguine and really enjoyed the creamy sauce and peppers. Our server told us the linguine was hand-made by the chef, and the noodles were long and had the perfect texture. My mom had the barbecue shrimp and grits, when I sampled it I was surprised at how tangy the sauce was. It paired perfectly with the grits for mouth-watering comfort food. My dad's order of jambalaya had shrimp seasoned perfectly with a wide variety of spices. There was not enough rice in it though, way too many veggies, but I'm also just a picky eater haha. For dessert, my parents shared the bread pudding which came with a creamy salted caramel ice cream that paired perfectly with the bread pudding slices. My sister and I shared the beignets which were perfectly light and airy. The coffee sauce that came with our dessert was so sweet and delicious, we made sure to tell our server to pack it to go. Only the top two beignets were covered with powdered sugar though so we'll have to DIY garnish the bottom two. Our server Nicole was so friendly, she efficiently served us, politely exchanging out our cutlery and boxing up our leftovers. She was kind and definitely made the experience so pleasant. My family is so excited to continue returning to this restaurant thanks to their wide array of shrimp dishes. We all love eating shrimp so a restaurant with so many options to try is exactly what we've been looking for.

Amazing food and amazing service!!! The food here was completely authentic. Perfect spice level. Portion size great. Friendly timely service. If I lived in Seattle - I would come every day!!!

I definitely give it 4 stars and I’ll tell you why... The ambience is wonderful for a date night candlelit dinner. -1 star because I thought the service was decent/good albeit slow because the restaurant was packed, though our waitress did forget some parts of our orders Another reason I give it one less star is because I think the place needs a deep cleaning as it’s smelly when you first walk in. Obviously the smell subsides the longer you’re in there but no restaurant should be smelling. So those were the downsides. We ordered the sliders, the fried chicken, oysters, shrimp, some drinks and found everything really tasty. The food and happy hour menu are extensive so you’ll definitely find something you like to eat.

We had shrimp, mussel, bolognese pasta, Janbaraiya, salad, and all of them were so good! Atmosphere was very good too!

We went two times in this restaurant, before and after covid. We’ve been in NOLA a couple of years ago and tried all their delicious food, this restaurant is a good representation of it. Price are correct, it’s a huge menu almost too long, the gumbo and the crawfish beignet were delicious. But I gave a 4 star because the service was pretty slow both times and the wine list was simply insufficient.

We came for the Happy Hour (In the Bar area only) and stayed for the tasty Cajun/Creole food at great value pricing and flavours. Staff friendly and space is a little dated, but large enough to feel you are socially distanced. Indoor/outdoor dining and lots of street parking make this a wonderful location. Good luck and Enjoy!

We went here for the first time today and was very disappointed. After seeing lines here since we moved into the area we wondered what was so good as to draw the lines but after eating here today we now wonder why the lines as lunch wasn't at all good. First we ordered a couple of Po' Boys mine was the right one but we ordered the spicy Shrimp for my wife and took out and when we got home and opened the box it was blackened not spicy and I know I ordered spicy as I was asking the girl how spicy the dish was and all that so I know I ordered the right dish. She accepted it despite that though as would have been a hassle to return to the restaurant. Taste aside the size of the sandwiches was small for the price ($18 each) plus 18% tip on a take out is ridiculous! But we found that out after that this was added! Tips are not suppose to be charged by the restaurant as the tip is something the customer leaves to tell the server how good or bad his/her service was! Had I known this was going to be added I would not have gone in! Now to the taste. I have had good Ne Orleans style cooking we use to frequent a place where use to live that had fabulous New Orleans Creole food and this food today was no where near that! For a creole dish the taste was actually very bland not at all what I expected. There was also some sort f fries with it that were soggy and greasy! We certainly will not be back!

The 4 star rating is a bit generous but 3 star would have been mean. Nobody wants to read long reviews, so I'll try to be helpful. Booking. Very easy per website. Parking. Difficult generally and near to impossible if there's an event nearby (eg hockey). Seating. OK. Says what it is when you book so be sure it suits you. Food. Well prepared and as described on the menu. Tasty but we didn't find it exciting. Large portions. To experience several dishes suggest starter, salad, main and desert BUT one of each between two. Service. Patchy. This is a popular, well run business so attention is fast while you order. Less good once the selling is done. Cost. Note the 5% labor surcharge and a full tip seems to be expected as well. if you take my advice and split all courses between two, overall cost including tax and tips will be comparable with other casual dining restaurants. Overall. I'd go back but no rush.

Stopped for a quick dinner after multiple recommendations and reviews. Great place for Seafood, drinks and small plates. Flavourful, uncomplicated dishes with great ingredients, attentive service and Cajun flavours.

Toulouse Petit May become my new favorite restaurant. My wife and I went there with another couple after a matinee at the Seattle Rep. Unfortunately, the play was over at 4:30pm and the dining room doesn’t open till 5:00pm. The bar was full of people enjoying happy hour. The happy hour menu and pricing looked great. I plan on returning for that. Dinner was delicious. I had the Jambalaya which was flavorful and perfectly spiced with lots of meat. My wife had a pasta which was, also, tasty. The drinks were good. Service was seamless. The prices were very reasonable. I didn’t like the surcharge on the bill for minimum wage and other costs even though it was less than 2%. The menu is extensive. We will be returning to try more of this delicious food.

This was talked about a lot by locals so we went on a wet windy day. The restaurant is very dark and felt very hip and moody. Service though is very efficient and food is substantial. We had loads of hearty and tasty food even though we only had 2 starters and 1 main between the 2 of us. Definitely recommend.

Great selection of drinks & dishes. Really delicious food: We started with their freshly baked bread and Brussels sprouts. Our entrees were the crab & shrimp salad, pan seared sea scallops, and two different gnocchi. For dessert we had the bananas Foster and beignets. All wonderful. Service was excellent.

My husband had the steak and shared some with me. It was the best steak we have both ever had. The ambiance was great at night with all the tea lights glowing along the walls. We enjoyed our meal so much that we came back for breakfast the next day!

Amazing service and awesome food. Menu selections are great and food even better. Gumbo, breakfast and burgers. French press Coffee

My adult son and I ate here for pre-opera. The concert hall is close by, and our 5 pm reservation was perfect for a 7:30 curtain. We enjoyed it a lot, relaxing over cocktails and several courses. The food was pricey (it's Seattle), but excellent. The staff was relaxed, attentive, and friendly. The crab dishes contained copious amounts of big lumps of crab, not the shreds you find at some places. The creole-style rockfish was perfectly cooked and nicely sauced. Reservations are a must on weekends.

If you’re from the South or if you’ve ever been to New Orleans don’t bother! The attempt at fusions are terrible. I don’t think the chef has ever been to New Orleans! The beignets are a disaster and hard. I’m born and raised in the South so this was so aggravating . If you like good food don’t waste your $$$. I recently moved to Seattle and I find the common themes of food here are odd and void of flavor.

After visiting Kerry Park for the view of the downtown Seattle, we stopped here for lunch. We had made reservations over OpenTable, showed up on time, and were immediately seated. After reviewing their very extensive menu, we tried the following: - Toulouse Beignets - OK. Just likes the one from Cafe du Monde in New Orleans, with less powdered sugar (thankfully). The chicory anglaise adds some personality to the dish, but I don't personally like the chicory. - True French Onion Soup Lyonnaise - OK. Much smaller than I expected considering the price, and almost no cheese in it. - Fried Oyster Salad Lyonnaise - Good. Simple dish, but oysters were sweet and nicely fried. Well made. - Saffron, Dijon, Tarragon Mussels with Frites - OK. The few bites I had were strangely bitter, but wasn't sure if it was the broth or the mussels. Fries were pretty good though. Service was friendly and efficient. No complaints. Overall, it was an average visit. Given how popular the place is, I was expecting more from the food. We possibly ordered the wrong items, or came in on an off day. If in the area again, I would give it another try, but this visit was very average.

We had 3 quick meals there in less than 18 hours. Great oysters, fried green tomatoes and Dungeness crab, and really good wine.

Delish jambalaya, excellent service. Food was fast and flavour on point. Price was decent to high for the quantity.

An inventive, large, and very well-prepared breakfast menu - go early, and/or on a weekday as it is quite popular. We love this place.

Excellent small restaurant near Seattle Center. Extensive menu, literally something for everyone in a candlelit setting that can be comfortable from jeans to dressy. Well priced wine list. You wonder how a relatively small place can do so many dishes this well, but they certainly do

The most surprising thing about this restaurant is the large additional fee which they try to sneak onto your bill. The “wage surcharge”, which is described as a contribution to employee wages which is not in lieu of a gratuity, makes this already expensive restaurant unreasonable. With a few drinks, expect to pay $100 per head pre-gratuity. The food was good, but not that good.

The restaurant was charming, and our waitress made it more so as she took the time to fill us in on the building and the furnishings. That alone made our trip to Seattle worth it, but then the food came! We had a deliciously unconstructed caesar salad to start and delicious entrees. Mine was a bit on the blistering hot side (fresh hot pepper influence), but the food was still delicious. When the waitress found out we were celebrating an 80th birthday, she insisted that she was buying dessert. We enjoyed the food and beverage and the surroundings of the evening. We will go back every time we are in Seattle.

Just happened on this quaint little New Orleans meets Seattle restaurant. Just beautiful inside with tiled floor, mini candle votives on the walls, and beautiful lighting. But aside from that the food was excellent and service great. Wasn’t crazy expensive either. My son had a duck entree and I had a wonderful market salad. Lots of prawn, crayfish available as well! Highly recommend it!

My husband and I wanted to have a nice dinner in Seattle before we headed out on our cruise, and this restaurant was a few minutes walk from our hotel, so we gave it a shot. I cannot tell you how happy we did. The restaurant had a unique decor with dozens and dozens of votive candles lit sitting on shelves lining the walls, on tables etc. More importantly, the food was unbelievable. My husband is avoiding carbs, and our waiter happily swapped out his potatoes for asparagus wrapped in prosciutto. He was one happy guy. They even gave us a beignet, on the house, since we were celebrating our anniversary. This restaurant is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Cannot recommend it enough!

We felt lucky to get a table at this busy restaurant and they told us we couldn't have one of the attractive booths because we didn't have a reservation. A regular table was fine. We had a great waiter. He answered our questions, made recommendations, brought us tastes of things, and gave us plenty of time. The meals were wonderful...jambalaya, shrimp and grits, duck confit, crab and sauce. Cocktails were also very good. Beignets for dessert were wonderful. Our waiter seemed to disappear at the end, although several other people helped us. We wanted to commend him but his name wasn't anywhere on the bill, so we don't know who he was. After we signed our credit card receipts, one of the staff people came and told us that we needed to vacate the table for people who had a reservation. It's a really good restaurant but I guess I'm not sure we were worthy of it. I would definitely recommend the food but you'd better be sure you have a reservation if you don't want to feel like a second class citizen.

Not a flaw in any of the meals to came to our table! My wife could make a meal of the pomme frites. My daughter had a half chicken dish with a sauce that was unforgetable. I opted for a fresh fish selection that was extremely tender and flavorful. The menu probably changes daily/weekly based on what the chef finds in the market. Reservations are highly suggested. The venue is somewhat small and fills quickly. A great choice for a romantic dinner. Hundreds of small candles are lit throughout the restaurant and give the painted stucco a unique glow.

The food was excellent. Took off one star for prices not being up to date on the website and the virtue signaling with the 5% living wage surcharge.

Good food in delightful, charming atmosphere - even had good-sized portions (not too much and not too little)

Every time my girlfriends and I do a weekend getaway in Seattle, we always make a reservation for brunch here. Once again, it did not disappoint! We had Bloody Mary's & an order of Beignets to start with. Myself and one of my friends always get the Eggs Charcutieres with Rustic Duck & Pistachio Terrine with Veal Shallot Pan Sauce and it was positively delish as always, we were both tempted to lick our plates to get every last drop of the sauce! The other dishes ordered were the Homemade Tasso & Tomato Confit Scramble, Florentine Eggs Benedict and the Dungeness Crab & Asparagus Scramble. There wasn't a crumb left on anyone's plate!! The service was excellent and the ambiance fun and lively! The place vibrates with happy eaters!

This is a great place. Environment phenomenal and not too noisy. The food was spectacular. One of the top 5 places I've ever been to. What really made the place shine was our waiter Harrison. At one point we were actually thinking there was a microphone hidden by our table. He seemed to know instantly if we needed something. He also went above and beyond helping us out with menu selections and even giving us advice on what to do in Seattle. I will be telling everyone I know of how awesome this place is. Thank you for making our night spectacular.
BRUNCH!
If I lived here I would come back religiously and work my way through the menu. This place is next level awesome.
