Location is nice, within W Chicago property. Ambience is an "all white" one, very cozy, nice and refined (much nicer, to be honest, of the W Hotel one). Menu is definitely too limited, however food quality is very high. Service is excellent.

Some of the staff here are truly exceptional and most others are very good. One was a bit off, but may have been a bad day. What I love about Trace is the food -- interesting but not

We went to Trace on whim, and was surprised at how good the food was! Hotel food is often a hit or miss experience. The fresh bread selection will wet your appetite while you wait for your food. We ordered Shanghai noodles with seafood, Wild Salmon, the burger, and Branzino fish. We brought a bottle of wine (corkage $25) but the wine selection looked great as well. The ambiance is very upscale & modern - almost nighclubish. The servers were very attentive to our needs. I loved the overall experience and would recommend this restaurant for not only visitors to SF but also to locals. The prices are reasonable given the restaurant is in the heart of the city. We will definitely be back!

This is the bar/restaurant within the San Fran W hotel. The menu is limited and pricey. I found the drinks not to be mixed well. But maybe that depends on who's tending bar at the time you're drinking. So I give some flexibility here. Customers are youngish, with locals on weekend evenings. Not family-oriented at all.

We had a wonderful, delicious healthy (and not so healthy) lunch at Trace. We ordered items that we wanted even though they were not on the menu. Ask for Damian R to be your waiter. He gave exceptional service.

Situated in the W hotel, this restaurant has fantastic breakfast. The Yukon potatoes, the Trace breakfast, excellent granola, awesome buttermilk pancakes.

Everything was wonderful fro the eggs and pancakes at breakfast to the salmon at dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Whilst staying at the W we tried the Trace restaurant for a dinner. The restaurant has a typical W setting, ultra-modern and with chic features. The menu is a small one however all the dishes are unique and very tempting. Roger was our waiter for the evening, and he took great care of us and enhanced our experience.shame that we did not manage to visit the restaurant one more time, and would suggest it to anyone, even if not staying at the hotel.

The restaurant and bar are hip and very chic looking. It caters to a young and hip crowd. I guess we expected a gourmet meal in the restaurant since it's such an expensive hotel but sorry to say it was just an average meal.

Came here earlier today for a last minute lunch. The hostess Leticia convinced me to try it out. Very sweet girl and super helpful! The meal was delicious! Service was fast and sufficient! Martika was excellent! I highly recommend coming here for a quick bite and still receiving the full service.

We wanted to have brunch in our hotel. Unfortunately the menu was really weird: everything was fat or sweet! You couldn't get a freshly squeezed OJ: they bought it from across the bay. Coffee was nothing special. Everything was expensive for what it was and the quality of the ingredients very average. Avoid ubless you want to get drunk for breakfast.

Our visit to Trace was pleasant enough. The server was personable and efficient. The coffee was decent and the mimosas were really good. The food was tasty but the portions were massive! I couldn't even get through half of mine. It was the tortilla/egg brunch dish, so the tortillas went soggy pretty quickly.

Book in advance, Trace within the W hotel, across from Mascone, so naturally a very busy restaurant with the business crowd

We were gifted a brunch at Trace so we went and nothing on the menu appealed to either of us except the hamburger. It was served with fresh burrata, a thick slice of heirloom tomato and arugula. It was delicious. Fingerling potatoes cut in half and sauteed in olive oil, garlic and parsley were yummy as were the slices of English cucumber that had been marinated in vinegar. The service was good, the ambience very cold and the music too loud.

Made a reservation for 2 and use a coupon from Groupon, the menu were pix but the food was tasty , our server Richard made the experience incredible he makes us very comfy and much welcome and very attentive to our needs. pretty good as the price is just right pairing drinks for all the courses i am impressed, would recommend the place and definitely will dine again. Thanks, Richard for the good service.. keep up the good work

Located in the W Hotel, Trace is a fabulous dining experience. With a wide menu and a farm to table approach, this restaurant is sure to please. The interior is nicely decorated with thin string curtains separating many of the dining tables. Trace offers an extensive wine list and the service is top notch. While not an inexpensive meal out, Trace is certainly worth it. Be sure to try any of the appetizers or entrées that feature honey. The honey itself is supplied by a Trace employee and is raised on the hotel rooftop.

Drink menu is fun and delicious, pricey, but expected for a higher end hotel. Bar staff is fun and prompt with taking your drink order and serving your drink.

We stayed at the W and had the pleasure of having daily breakfast here and one dinner. Let me say that the service is excellent!! The breakfast is spectacular. I had the simple eggs avocado, toast, jam and it was heaven. They’re so courteous they gave us free oj and to go cups without even asking. Dinner was also great. My husband was sick so we decided to eat in. They made us feel at home and offered food that would help his cold. Very thoughtful staff would highly Rec the shanghai noodles and the tomato soup! Yum

Service here is great. Make sure to try the pate! I never really was a big fan, but I make sure to have it when I eat here. They give a generous portion and will give more bread if you need. Everything was fresh, well cooked and came out fairly quickly

Very short menu with little choice. Food cooked off ok but required seasoning. Wine list also short and expensive. For a W hotel simply not up to scratch.

Just returned from a 4-night stay at the W San Francisco. Ate breakfast at Trace, which is just off the hotel's lobby, twice during our stay. They do a nice take on Eggs Benedict, and make a very good breakfast sandwich, both accented with fresh baby arugula (nice touch). Prices are quite reasonable for a hotel breakfast. As the Moscone Center is right across the street, I'd recommend avoiding convention center food and eating here before your meeting. Service is excellent-- whether you are in a rush or want to linger, you will be accommodated according to your needs. Our server both mornings was Damian, who, in addition to being both efficient and personable, had some very complimentary things to say about the hotel's customer service philosophy, which he feels empowers employees to do "whatever, whenever" to make your experience at the W good one.

I recently dined at Trace on a Friday night and loved it! The restaurant is located at the W hotel. The ambiance is quiet, romantic and the decoration is beautiful. To start we ordered oysters, Brussel sprouts and shanghai noodles. The oysters were beautiful presented and all dishes were delicious! For our entrée, my boyfriend enjoyed his steak but the winner was my salmon! The salmon was cooked perfectly, amazing flavors and to top it off it had edible flowers so my dish was beautiful! The chef really takes pride in the presentation of all the dishes. To end our meal we had the chocolate dessert and the tart. Of course both were beautiful presented and both tasted amazing. It was a great experience and the staff was nothing short of amazing! Price is fairly reasonable as well!

Had lunch at Trace, and was pleasantly surprised at the food. Outstanding presentation, obvious the Chef takes pride in ensuring the meal was visually appealing as well as very tasty. The service was excellent, as well, with the waiter being very attentive and helpful with recommendations. The Rock Fish sandwich was outstanding, as was the Heirloom Tomato Salad - and the Trace Tea. I do not know why exactly this restaurant is rated only 3.8 stars average, the quality is far superior to this rating. On the other hand, it is also rated $$ for price, which I also find it misses the mark - $15 for tomato appetizer and $18 for a sandwich??? In any case, this was a very pleasant surprise, will go back.

Can’t comment on usual business but this was a very popular place during the recent RSA conference. Very loud place- lots of seating upstairs to get out of the main bar area and find a quieter spot.

The menu is focused on fresh farm foods and gives a slight edge to different food dishes. Food is nicely prepared and presented. Server staff is very good, friendly and accommodating.

W’s are known for its youthful vibe and the W in San Francisco doesn’t disappoint. The décor at Trace is edgy, the bar is packed with 20-30 something’s strutting their stuff, and restaurant is noisy. It’s not a place for conversation or a romantic interlude, but it’s definitely fun. The food is fantastic. Everything is very fresh, locally sourced, and they even keep bees on the 4th floor to serve their own honey. Four of us enjoyed Gem salads (large portions, crisp, yummy cheddar dressing), creamy sweet corn soup, Liberty Farms duck breast, pan roasted rock cod, and Brant Beef bistro filet as entrees. Every bite was original, scrumptious, and beautifully presented. For dessert we had peaches and cream and a chocolate bar, both decadent, different, delicious! Service was prompt and pleasant. We had a Travelzoo voucher that included beverage pairings, giving us 3 drinks each: Proseco or lemon grass drop with soup/salad, Pinot Noir or Mr. Robinson with entrée, and Sherry for dessert. The sherry was good, but the other drinks were just okay. Four great breads are served with butter. What we didn’t like with this Travelzoo voucher was that the restaurant considered the beverages to be worth $175 (not worth that), thus the bill included tax and automatic 18% tip on the entire amount. We wouldn’t do a beverage pairing again, and dislike the policy of automatic tips for parties of less than six (tips are for service). Our server was terrific and we would have taken care of him well anyway. Corkage is $20. Valet parking is $15.00 with validation. Great location near Moscone Center, south of Market street.

Lovely place , cool atmosphere, limited choices but fine food. I had bacon with eggs Benedicte and mashed potatoes...delicious ..but poor service..sometimes hard to under explanation of the menu....

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Seating ranged from bar-side, a table by the window (good people-watching) or tucked away behind the fringe curtains in a velvety booth. Trace is known for serving local, organic food. Everything we ordered for breakfast and dinner tasted healthy, yummy and unique. Check the menu though before going, you'll want to see what your options are and don't be afraid to ask questions.

The bar menu (specialty cocktails, wines by the glass, etc) was really nice. We had some drinks while waiting for our reservation time and were pleased with the ambiance (the bar lights up with different colors). Inside the restaurant, it's really clean and vibrant. The menu was set up differently than most restaurants, but it offered amazing selections. The variety was also noted, and the vegetarian options were also available in each category. We were full, but we did glance at the dessert selections and they looked amazing as well.

If you are staying at the W Hotel of course you will give it a try. But if you are anywhere in downtown San Francisco this will be a great place for dinner. Modern ambiance and wonderful cooking. The Taste choices we enjoyed, Roasted Baby Beet Salad was good; Shanghai Noodles with Pea Shoots, Snap Peas, Truffles and Poached Shrimp was incredibly delicious, more than a taste it could be a light meal in itself. Followed by Fig and Prosciutto Flatbread, Broiled Salmon, or Sauteed Halibut, each one perfectly delicious. Or our youngster enjoyed a Trace Burger with Fries.

Excellent service and great menu. The pancakes are the best I have ever tried. Fantastic granola, and the Trace breakfast is really good. Great coffee as well.

Breakfast was a disaster...long wait (40 minutes) for eggs after we told waiter we had to catch a plane and ordered simple food! Never again!

I stayed at the W for 2 nights and everything I ordered was amazing! Great food! increnible service! Try the crisp gnocchi! Yum!

The menu was excellent , we love to eat at the bar but specially second floor bar that is the place to enjoy all the way

We ate both dinner and breakfast here. Dinner was sublime. We wanted a light supper and ordered grilled Brussel sprouts and salmon. The combination of flavors in the Brussel sprouts was fantastic. I could have made a meal out of them! The salmon was delicious and prepared to melt in one's mouth. I wuld dine there again in a heartbeat. Breakfast was less impressive. Oatmeal (which I like very much) wasn't particularly good. Egg dishes were very nice. Food is very expensive.

The space is fresh and modern, the breakfast food good - the service excellent. Ask for Damien - you'll start your day off with a smile.

Excellent service by our waiter Roger on a fairly quiet night in the restaurant. The food was enjoyable, not spectacular but quite enjoyable. The room was a bit cool even after they adjusted the conditioning. Very good carrot cake for dessert. Would recommend.

We came in late and got a table. The server was very knowledgeable. We had an appetizer that was sourdough, with braised grapes and cheese that was amazing. I had the very best salmon I have ever had. It was cut like a loin steak, and just perfectly cooked with a teriyaki sauce. It was the very best bite of salmon I have ever had and highly recommend that you try it. all in all, a perfect evening

Tasty food, good service, but ambitiously priced. We enjoyed the avocado toast and smoked salmon bagel for breakfast.

Trace restaurant located in the W Hotel on 3rd St in downtown San Francisco is a very good restaurant in its own right not to mention for a hotel. We had excellent hamburgers for lunch that compare to the best in the City. The menu for lunch was more upscale than you would expect for a hotel even for a fine hotel. The service was excellent and the vibe was very energetic.

Had quite a few great meals here including locally caught fish and amazing fresh made breads! Friends from the area who met me for a meal were also impressed. Would dine again.

If you want a quiet place, this is not for you. You can hear everything that's happening next door at the bar so it's definitely not quiet! The salad was to die for, fresh, original, I could have had two of those. The scallops were excellent but I expected more for the price. Not very original. But very nice decoration. For some reason, the waiter didn't know how to pour wine, always dropped some on the table... But nice and easy location. Service was quick, if you're in a hurry...

I went there for dinner after a performance at Yerba Buena Center, and ordered scallops. Service was very quick. The price was $26.00, and for that I got some nice pasta and three small, delicious scallops. When I complained to the waiter he apologized and comped my glass of wine. I was so hungry when I left that I went to Ghirardelli's on Market Street for a hot fudge sundae.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the W hotel. It has a chic modern decor and faces Third street. It also has a very swank bar area, on the opposite side. The W is next door to MOMA — would be a great lunch option while visiting! The service was very good, attentive, and friendly. The cuisine was on a culinary level. The West coast oysters were amazing, and were some of the very best of my life. The mignonette was simply the very best, I have ever tasted and a roller coast of flavors. It was balanced, creative, and fun. The delicate and subtle flavor of the oyster was always coming through. Truly memorable and highly recommend!!! 😋😋😋 The appetizer of scallops was very good, fresh and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed this appetizer. The Asian noodles with prawns 🍤 was our second favorite of our dining experience. It was yummy and so very good. 4.5 recommended. The salmon entree was very good. We enjoyed the flavors. The portion is on the small side. A solid 4 points. The halibut needs work. The potion and presentation was enticing. But, the sauce and overall experience through the layers missed the mark. Would recommend something else. The hazel nut and chocolate desert was yummy. An other fun roller coaster of rich flavors. The portion was on the smaller side and yet it was a wonderful finish for the both of us to share. 4.5–5 points. Recommended. We had an excellent time. The meal was creative and my girlfriend and I shared all the dishes. I would recommend this style of eating. I found a special deal on Travelzoo that made the cost much more reasonable. We had a fixed price dinner for 69 dollars. You might want to check out this possibility. I recommend having a drink at The View in the Marriott Hotel on Forth Street. It is a short walk away and the lounge is on the 39th floor, with wonderful views of the city. It is the last place I know of, with has such a great birds eye view. You could also just take in the view for a bit and leave. I do recommend being a little more assertive, about grabbing a window seat, while people are leaving. Ask to share their table, if seats are available — why not??!! We did with a smile 😊 and offered a snack to the other couple. The small park across the street from the restaurant, is also nice to explore. I liked that the chef was creative and trying to explore. The dishes ranged from good to delicious — from a more critical stand point. Experiencing the West coast oysters with that amazing mignonette is worth it. The service added to our meal and made the overall rating 5 points. Recommended and good for a date night!

I stayed at the W Hotel for 3 nights and ate breakfast daily and dinner once. The food is very good. It's high quality food prepared very well. The breakfast is expensive, but worth the splurge.

Had a very nice lunch at Trace. The food and service were excellent. We had a very nice expeerience.

Colleagues and I ate here for a business meeting last week during Dreamforce. We had a reservation so no issues getting a table. We were also seated at one of the centre booths that had a form of hanging curtains that provided privacy and quiet for us to converse. The service was discreet yet helpful I had the seared tuna with quinoa & greens accompanied by a green goddess dressing. I don't usually eat everything in my plate at business meetings but I ate every single bite!

It could stand on it's own if it were not part of the W Hotel. Fresh, clean, great decor and very good food at reasonable prices. The place close to the Moscone Convention Center for a fine meal/ That helps you avoid the "convention fare". It is no further a walk than one end of Moscone to the other.

Had a lunch meeting here and it was very good. Easy place to eat and talk with people when you are at the Moscone Center. Had the wild mushroom blintz and it was very good. Crispy blintz was light fare. Service was very good, quick, and attentive

We were looking for a place to have a nice business, breakfast meeting and selected Trace. Comprehensive menu, comfortable seating and noise level is manageable. Highly recommend if you are looking for something more upscale.

The food here is very nice but quite expensive. You won't get a great view here but the food is very nice and the service is good.

My wife and I shared two different breakfasts. Both were cooked exactly the way we wanted the. No complaints at all. We even got a take away order and enjoyed it in the park across the street.

Great food, and billed to my room! The drinks here are world class as well, and a great atmosphere. I recommend

Breakfast was fast and delicious with my own pot of hot coffee, and first first order of Avocado Toast. Now I get it. Weeks later I can still remember tasting it. I'm mad I didn't find out earlier so I could eat one every morning of my trip.

We had heard about the restaurant from some friends. It is at the W Hotel and I am generally skeptical about hotel restaurants. The venue is really nice and the people working there are fantastic but the food is not really, very good. We started with oysters and they were far from fresh. We had a pork should dish that was pretty good and they accommodated our gluten free requirement. For the main we had a hanger steak and it was very low quality. I would not go back until they made some big changes.

Several times over the last ten years we’ve eaten lunch at your restaurant, always in December when we attend the annual American Geophysical Union’s meeting across the street. Every time Ms. Aline Gustafson has waited on us. We have continued to return to your restaurant on our annual trips because of the food, but even more because of the positive experience we’ve had on account of her attentive and welcoming service. She has provided good advice on how to match menu items to our tastes and hunger. She also remembers us, and we look forward to our brief conversations as to how she and the restaurant are doing. In SF the restaurant business is competitive and always in flux, and restaurants such as yours have undergone changes in ownership, name, and décor over the years. But for us one thing has not changed, the quality of service provide by Ms Gustafson.

I ordered breakfast at Trace last Thursday morning, April 25, 2013. (I stayed at the W overnight, and wanted to eat breakfast, but not order room service.) Trace restaurant is quiet and clean; the service, precise and welcoming. At night, I can see the restaurant being a hive of stylish activity and buzz. In the morning, it remains stylish, but transforms to a relaxing place for breakfast. On the menu, Trace offers a nice array of American-style breakfasts (eggs, omelets, pancakes, french toast) along with options of yogurt and granola. Your portions are tasty and filling. Coffee and juice are both immediately available as you are seated (from a center island). Two things that I really like about Trace: (1) At the entrance, morning newspapers are generously available for diners (New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, San Francisco Chronicle); and (2) The street scene directly outside -- 3rd Street, and the Moscone Center -- offers a bustling and energetic view of a San Francisco morning. The people watching can be absorbing: business people, tourists, convention attendees, art students combine to create a compelling city scene. I recommend breakfast at Trace restaurant. You will enjoy a nice meal in a comfortable, nicely-designed setting.

Start with the rose champaigne for $16 per glass and roll into the Rose from Provence for $12 per glass. Both paired perfectly with the Brussels Sprouts, Kale Salad, Salmon and Crab over polenta. Absolutely perfect night out with my wife. Shawn was our server and he helped steer us in the right direction. I loved the bread but would love it more if it was warm. Great ambiance but you have to love DJ based music. I loved it... Very ecliptic/diverse. Highly recommend Trace (focused on sustainability and tracing foods roots back to its origins)....

Long overdue- the staff at Trace learned my name on my first trip and had my order down at the same time. I stayed at the W for a week every month over 2 years. No matter the server- they knew what I liked and took great care of me each morning. The staff and service here is the greatest feature of Trace. I look forward to my next stay and seeing my "family" again.

The menu choices were limited but the food was tasty. San Francisco being the culinary Mecca that it is, I would have expected a bit more from the menu.

Trace has been a favorite lunch stop of mine for years. I don’t know why I haven’t reviewed it sooner because it is an absolute gem with consistently creative cuisine and exceptional service. This week, I popped over to entertain a couple of clients. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and escorted to a terrific mauve/purple leather booth surrounded by white string curtains. An immediate score for ambiance. We were quickly greeted by our waiter, Damien, who is an absolute superstar server. He has a terrific knowledge of the menu and is incredibly engaging. My guests were impressed. Another score! At his suggestion, we shared appetizers of candied Brussel sprouts with balsamic and garlic and sweet potato fries with a blue cheese mayo. Yum. I ordered the house made lamb pastrami sandwich. It had a devilled egg emulsion with a harissa slaw served in a griddled flat bread. The pastrami absolutely melted in my mouth with a tangy spicy finish. Inspired and outstanding. It came with a side of wheat berry salad with arugula, pine nuts, and golden raisins. Exotic and the perfect accompaniment to the pastrami. Other guests enjoyed the poached albacore tuna salad with shaved fennel, quinoa, and a green goddess dressing and a braised pork shoulder with crispy gnocchi, hen of the woods mushrooms and pecorino cheese. All superb. Everyone was floored by the flavorful dishes and overall exceptional experience. This time I scored by astounding my clients with a perfect lunch meeting. Trace really is more than a dash of deliciousness. It’s the whole package! And, one last call-out again for Damien for flawless service! For more of my reviews visit www.foodtodish.com

TRACE A rather elegant dining room is adjacent to a lively bar area. Have a drink in the bar near the fire if you arrive early and enjoy the ambiance. Most of the dining tables were empty at 6:30 PM on a Saturday, but gradually additional diners trickled in. Considering the excellence of the food I was surprised that the dining area wasn’t full. The bar seems to be the attraction. Perhaps people don’t expect a Hotel Restaurant to be that good (W Hotel). But it was spectacular! We were escorted to a very comfortable private booth. I highly recommend requesting a booth if you book a reservation well in advance. We started appetizers to share with WEST COAST OYSTERS with sweet jalapeno mignonette, shallot, and cilantro. These were some of the best we’d tasted in San Francisco. The mignonette was perfect. The SHANGHAI NOODLES had a wonderful blend of flavors with pea shoots, trumpet mushrooms, snap peas and shrimp. A wonderful truffle taste enhanced the mixture. This was one of the best noodle dishes our group has tasted. The ROASTED SCALLOPS with butternut squash, castelfranco radicchio and maple and sherry vinaigrette was delightful. The dressing cut through the bitterness of the radicchio just enough without being overly sweet. On to the main course, we had heard that the TRACE BURGER was the best in town so our trio opted to test that theory out. The medium rare burgers were cooked perfectly. They were enhanced with cheddar cheese, pickles, and dill aioli. We asked if there were other options for toppings and were quickly told that this was the way the TRACE BURGER was done. I have no argument with that stance as the burger was one of the best I’ve had and my table agreed. Three choices of bread were offered. We all chose the superb olive bread with our appetizers. I can’t say enough about Roger, who was our waiter. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the dishes and the wine and was a delight to interact with during the evening. I would definitely give TRACE a five star. It was the best dinner our trio had in San Francisco.

I had breakfast here three times (because I stayed at the W over the past week). While I wouldn't say the food was awful, I just wasn't a huge fan. In SF you can get a much better breakfast for much less. I would only recommend if you are staying at the hotel and just want to get a bite without leaving.

Trace was fine - the menu was pretty standard Asian fusion, and the service was good. That said, for the price there are far more standout options in the area (Fang, Mourad, In Situ to name a few).

We booked a table here for a business meeting. Place looks super-contemporary in style and my meal, a special chicken salad... crispy and tasty! Try it!

Superb scallops appetizer, best ive ever had. Steak was delicious and the vegetables that came with it were stunning but it did need Fries to soak up the gravy.

We stayed at the W for our wedding weekend. We were able to enjoy their food on two occasions during our stay - 1) Friday morning room service - had to eat something before our big day! I had a specific request for soft scrambled eggs and boy did they deliver. 2) Saturday brunch at Trace - the veggie hash with poached eggs was to die for! YaYa, our server, was very nice and attentive (but not overly so, which is a pet peeve of mine). This place is modern, the menu is inventive, and the decor is simply beautiful. Our photographer even took us back here to take a few pictures because he really liked some of the decor. Price wise it's not too out of sync compared to other restaurants in San Francisco. I definitely would recommend Trace - we hope to return for dinner.

A lot of the wait staff here have been working here for years. Great to see they look after their team, and their wait staff are trained and consistent.

The food at Trace was good, but the staff was better. Had a few different items over a weekend stay at the hotel. The burger was surprisingly good. The bar staff makes good drinks and was a lot of fun to talk with during the meal.

Efficient service, well prepared food, but we didn't feel rushed. The servers matched their service with our needs.

I had the best time with friends at Trace!! Delicious meal , great conversation with friends, the location is perfect and the atmosphere is just how I like it . The best part of all is the service we received from Damian !!! He made us feel like we were special ! He recommended excellent choices , made us laugh and smile, such a great personality ....he goes well beyond what others do... he made our day ... and we'll be back !!!

For those staying at the W Hotel, Breakfast at Trace is a treat. Marriott Platinum (and above) guests get to chose from Steal Cut Oats and berries or a delicious Avocado Toast. Otherwise there is a $15 credit per person off the regular menu. Over our stay we tried a number of different dishes and each one was perfect and had substantial serving sizes. Coffee and Tea were high-end and the staff was quick, efficient and friendly. I would say they were the best staff in the hotel!

Amazing Breakfast Place. Excellent Hot chocolate and the bread here is really fresh. The Dirty Chai Latte is something really new. Loved it and Alvin is a gem of a person here. Best staff. Totally enjoyed it thoroughly

Trace, the restaurant connected to W, is a good choice for good food near Union Square. Best part is they take reservations and usually have a table. Food was very good.

Even the late night menu available at the bar and lobby is excellent. San Francisco seems to dine earlier and earlier (and close earlier) good to know place to go after 10pm

Trendy place with a wonderful menu and great service. We were a large group and felt like the serving staff was catering just to us. great wine list and neat specialty drinks and beer selection.

Decent food. Slow service. Empty restaurant on a Saturday midday. Nothing surprising, nothing overly impressive. Food was fine. Prices were on par for an upscale hotel.

This place was worth every penny that i spent on it. The food was excellent-Risotto-How i love thee. The cocktails-You have gone to heaven and come back. The food-yummy all the way. I love this place so much. Would love to come again everytime and recommend it to my friends. The atmosphere was also excellent for us and we loved every minute of it. Good job everyone.....

Had to share this raving experience. Dinner with the wife on a special night for us, dinner at the Trace Hotel. We went with the 'tasters menu'. Don't hesitate, just let the kitchen bring you the best, most refined tastes of the kitchen. Each plate was paired with excellent wine. Each experience was amazing. The staff was professional, friendly and could not only explain what each plate was -- exactly -- but also shared outstanding and informative wine references as well. We also learned, (Notable mention) -- that several Trace staff members were very involved in caring for Bees on the W rooftop! Guess where the fabulous honey comes from?! Environment is Modern, clean, low lit, clean design and great for a special experience. Over all excellent dinning experience. My wife and I loved every moment.

The food wasnt bad, but being the only restaurant in the hotel, the menu was very limited. Maybe they can increase the number of main courses and juice options.

Ultra modern, contemporary ambiance with a retro spin. We were waiting for Austin Powers to come out from around the corner. Nice bar/lounge area. There were very few people having dinner when we were there, although, it was a Thursday night?? The food was good, the service was very good and found the meal to be a bit pricey. However, it was an overall good experience.

The main was a good piece of trout with some lovely broccoli, think they partly cooked it then gave it a quick grill to lightly burn it. This is my new fave way to cook broccoli. But the dessert was an average carrot cake. What you think of the service depends on what you want. It was fast but I am not sure I like being asked what I want to eat next when my I am still chewing on one course. Finally, this is the sort of the place that not only has piped music inside but pipes it out to the sidewalk too. It is part of a W hotel, which is 'contemporary' - it is right next to the modern art gallery SFMA.

Totally agree with the other reviews. The Flatbread is amazing. Top of the list of things to try when dining at Trace

This place focuses on dishes with locally sourced ingredients. The menu changes seasonally. We started with the deep fried Brussels sprouts which were amazing. Our main courses were expertly prepared, looked beautiful (presentation is important to me) and tasted great. Service was excellent as well.

Nice dining experience, and it's very modern. It can get busy when there are trade shows so check in advance for openings.

Trace restaurant is located in the heart of San Francisco attached to the W Hotel. The location is an ideal jumping off point to all things located in the downtown core of San Fran. The restaurant has a modern look and feel with a small but diverse menu and equally diverse wine menu. Service was prompt and friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. She had a wonderfully fresh and delicious dinner salad and I had the mussels. Both were excellent. These were followed up with the main courses of scallops for her and salmon for me. We were each very happy with the choices. We finished the meal sharing the sorbet. If you are looking for a place to eat that is at the upper end but still relaxed, this is the place to check out. There is also a funky bar upstairs worth a look.

The service was good. Menu was limited. Menu written in fufu language. Didnt understand items on menu. coffee was terrible

Great food. Slow service and not the most attentive waitstaff but it was at the end of a holiday weekend so maybe they were all tired.

Great tasting cocktails...if you are looking for an excellent margarita, this is the place. Our food came out just as we expected...delicious and good portions. The lady who waited on us was helpful and attentive.

I had the blessing of having brunch here and ordered the creme brûlée french toasts with a side of bacon and it was the most spectacular breakfast/brunch ever! The service was good but the combination and freshness of the ingredients were at a higher level. Worth the price!

Met a friend for lunch who is allergic to gluten. YaYa was great in accommodating her needs. He made suggestions and was open to our many questions with a smile on his face! We're definitely returning and hope to have YaYa give us another wonderful experience.

I went for breakfast. I had the pancakes which were good. The service was alright. It's not somewhere I'd necessarily want to go back to though. I might go back to try lunch or dinner.

The atmosphere at Trace can be a little high energy - read loud, but it has great styling with modern design. The wine list was full and varied. The salmon was wonderful - with a chorizo & bean mix. Great combination. Our server was so professional, knowledgeable and a bee keeper as well just for interest sake. Trace is certainly on my list for San Francisco in the Market and 3rd Street area.

Walking distance from my hotel ( st Regis) the night we went was empty at 8pm. Food is Ok but nothing extraordinary, better than the one at St Regis but not much. Wines were OK but lacking a good Sommelier. Will not go again.

I frequently forget where I can go with my wife to eat when downtown. In some ways, unless you want to go the financial district, it's kind of a desert for good restaurants, believe it or not. Trace is in the W hotel, in SOMA. We first went there on a TravelZoo coupon, which saved just a little off a breakfast deal. The service was excellent, a rare phenomenon in San Francisco, where principals collapse like a cheap suit. As I opted for a coffee instead of the mimosa with breakfast deal, the waiter had no hesitation about "upgrading" me to the steak and eggs, which was really what I wanted. We'll definitely return without the TravelZoo deal, I just have to keep it in mind, next time we want brunch downtown. Sunday they have DJ and "oontz oontz oontz" music, it is in the W Hotel afterall, But our Saturday visit was fantastic, just right.

We enjoyed a very good brunch at Trace recently. All the food we had was tasty and the service was attentive and friendly. There is also a nice hotel lobby adjacent to the restaurant with a fireplace that served as a great place to sit and relax while awaiting our brunch guest. Ideal spot to eat if you're in town for a convention at the nearby Moscone Center.

Since it was “Restaurant Week,” which actually lasts about ten days, in San Francisco, we decided to “get out of our usual restaurant rut” to try Trace, which is the restaurant attached to the W Hotel (although we didn’t know it was a “hotel restaurant” when we booked). We arrived a bit early for our 6pm dinner reservation, so we stopped in for a drink at the W Hotel bar. The bartender was friendly and professional – and was able to explain the flavor profiles of the specialty cocktails. We were among the first to be seated for dinner at Trace, since the restaurant itself doesn’t start dinner service until 6:00pm (the time of our reservation). We were presented with the Restaurant Week menu (three courses for $40 USD), the regular menu, the regular wine list, and a special Restaurant Week wine list with bottles that were half-priced for the evening, which was a delightful surprise. At the suggestion of the server, we chose a 2008 Prelude A Grand Puy Ducasse, which is a Bordeaux and Medoc blend. The cork broke as the server opened the bottle of wine, so he took it back to strain and decant, adding that the decanting would benefit the wine since it was a “bit mineral” in taste, which was an understatement, even after decanting and breathing. A mineral taste in a white Sancerre is lovely, but rather off-putting in a Bordeaux. For us, the flavor never “opened up” to be a fulfilling wine taste. In addition, while writing this review, I consulted the online menu, which indicated that the Restaurant Week special dinners included a glass of wine, but the server didn’t mention that fact (and we, frankly, didn’t notice the mention of the complimentary glass of wine at the time of our dinner). As for dinner itself, I started with the ahi tuna tataki, with winter citrus, avocado, and black olive vinaigrette (as described on the menu). The overall flavor of the dish was OK, I suppose, but the tuna lacked in flavor, even with the overly briny olive vinaigrette. The avocado turned out to be seven dots of avocado mousse. For his starter, my husband had the roast pork belly with gochujang butternut purée and pickled apples. His dish was, by far, the better choice for a starter. The pork belly was prepared quite well, and not overly salty, which was a big plus. For the main course, we both had the Liberty Farms duck breast, served with farro, baby kale, and duck confit croquettes. While the duck was cooked properly to medium-rare, the meat was very tough, to the point that we had to “saw off” bits with the table knife. Even if the server had brought a proper serrated knife for the meat (which, by the way, should have been done automatically), the duck itself was overly chewy and lacking in flavor. The farro and the croquettes were quite good, but if I never see kale on a menu again, that would be fine with me. For dessert, we both had the vanilla bread pudding, with butterscotch caramel, almonds, and whipped crème fraiche, which was delicious. In fact, it was the best part of the meal. Overall, the restaurant is generally good, particularly for a “hotel restaurant.” If you’re staying in downtown San Francisco for business, Trace is a good restaurant for the area; but, as a resident of San Francisco, I’m not going to rush back for a repeat meal.

My Group went to Trace for our Holiday Luncheon. We were a small group of 5 Damien was our waiter and he was excellent. He checked on us often enough, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu making excellent recommendations. We will definitely be back to try his other suggestions.

Ok, so the decor is quite modern and looks like a club with a DJ. But the first floor restaurant (mercifully quiet) serves up tasty contemporary cuisine that is really well prepared. Savory sauces, every entree delivered hot and promptly. Our server Roger went out of his way to accomodate some special requests. Well executed, small list of choices makes it likely that everything is fresh as can be. They say that they like to source locally organic and sustainably. Not everything is organic but everything is fresh and tasty. BTW the breads were ultra fresh and maybe baked in house. Don't let the hotel setting put you off, this is fine place for a nice meal.

It was Mother's Day and we did not have a reservation but they had space at the high tables. They had Mimosas on the menu! Yes there were little plants growing out of the lights. White strips hanging to separate the areas. All of food was fresh, tasty and well presented. The waitresses were pleasant and accommodating.

Service was great every time, food quality was not consistence. Only had breakfasts there. Nice simple breakfast. Nothing fancy. Overall, I was satisfied.

Great ambiance, and part of the W Hotel. Service was very good for our party of 14 and the food selections were limited but decent.

While staying at the W Hotel, I had breakfast and lunch at Trace. The food was fresh and very good! It's a great location by Moscone Convention Center.

This restaurant is inside of the W hotel and has a very nice ambiance that is pretty funky. Service was very good and fast. Food was great, I had the lamb pastrami sandwich and probably could have eaten three of them! Would visit again if I needed a place in the area that was quiet and convenient. It's also nice that their process aren't super crazy for this location!

Before going to SFMOMA, we stopped in for only coffee. Servers were attentive and didn't bother us for not ordering anything else. Nice quiet venue to sit and chat.

This is a basic hotel restaurant - nothing special. I had seen the French Toast on the menu before we went. It was described as: "bourbon, roasted banana, toasted pecans caramelized white chocolate," so I was looking forward to it. It turned out to be the only selection we had that actually was not good. It was very dense - more like bread pudding - and rather dry with no banana favor at all. I ate about half. The picture looks pretty good, but don't be fooled. The rest of the selections were basic breakfast fare - good enough for fuel, but not up to par for a nice breakfast out. In short, there are much better places to eat in San Francisco.

A great breakfast with excellent staff - lunch is great too! The chicken apple sausage is the best and make sure to order the honey - they actually make their own on the hotel premises! Recomend the kale - cucumber smoothie concoction to start your am well on a convention and the salmon at lunch also wonderful! 5 star staff makes the experience even more pleasant!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing and really makes the experience. Roger was really great too. He was great with recommendations for food and wine. Could tell he really loves his job.

This ultra chic restaurant in the chic W San Francisco Hotel dispenses with your predictable breakfast choices. Do you want juice? Well, kale and cucumber are possibilities, but you won't find plebeian orange juice on the menu. I ordered French Toast, a plate of three very thick slices of a thick banana bread (the menu pointed out it was made with "roasted banana") toasted and drizzled with a dense Nutella sauce and hazelnuts. A good maple syrup accompanied the toast. Rich and dark in its flavor, it proved more than even a hungry breakfast-eater could finish. My guest had the egg sandwich, which proved far too large to eat sandwich style, so he sliced it into bite-sized morsels. Avocado, pickles, red onions, arugula, and ham accompanied the fried eggs on a large English muffin style bun. Our server was appropriately diffident, but he brought the food quickly.

Easily booked - there is no dress code - we were well served by friendly staff with beautiful food and wine

The food is stunning. So tasteful and very fairly priced. Service is great. People overlook Trace and that is a mistake.

If you're visiting SFMOMA and are looking for a good lunch spot, look no further than Taste. A nice menu of appetizers, salads, and mains. A good range of adult beverages. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable.

About 5 of us had a work meeting at the hotel and grabbed breakfast at Trace. I had the Avocado Toast and it was delicious! Everyone ordered different things, and said they really enjoyed their meal. Our meal was made even better with the great service provided by Damien, our server. He was friendly, and extremely accommodating. He is a real asset to Trace. Next time I am in SF, we are definitely stopping here for a meal!

Had breakfast meeting with 8 people. Nice varied menu that everyone liked. Much more than standard omelette or similar. Everything was special and really tasted good and presentation was excellent too. Was quiet and we could talk easily.

I loved the steak, salmon, chicken and everything! Amazing ambience. Waitress Kim was outstanding. Wine selection great. Loved that everything was sustainable and supported local farmers

great food and service. dessert chocolate cake was amazing and though is not kid friendly as we were staying at the hotel and went several times they surprised us with some toys they had bought for our baby

This could be a cool spot, but needs a facelift. Plus, service was slow. We waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged, 5 minutes for a menu, and more time for her to return. Ultimately, we decided to head to the St Regis instead where the space was clean and service quick.

Great food, albeit with a limited menu. Love the idea of that all of the food can be traced to its origins. Everything we had was good, but not spectacular. The atmosphere is VERY elegant, maybe a bit too much so. Great for business meals though to impress clients.

Breakfast is served in this restaurant, good food, great service. Little bit pricey but it goes in line with the hotels target.

small menu and we found it difficult to find something that appealed. do try the avocado toast. lovely toasted bread with avocado, pine nuts, pomegranite seeds and light dressing. the Breaded chicken was good. the fresh drinks were good. my breakfast came with overcooked poached eggs and dry over cooked roasted potatoes, service staff were ok, but the food took a long time to arrive. agree with the other reviewer; it has terrible coffee, but i like their choice of using a fair trade brand.

with the cost Trace is charging , you are better off finding a better restaurant. Especially if you are fine walking few blocks towards the union center.

I was there last week for a conference. Wasn't expecting much from the hotel restaurant at 6am. The staff was so personable so early in the morning and my breakfast was so good. My experience was good considering I was there so early. My server Damian was amazing and so energetic, truly serviced with a smile. I will come back again next time I'm in San Francisco.

A slightly expensive place, breakfast for two is at least $50, the service is slow and the staff is regularly in the back.

Excellent bar and restaurant. Service impeccable and fabulous menu. Food was delicious! Creative and wonderful. Highly recommend.

I had the salmon and I loved it. I also had the W's signature tea, delicious! Shawn, our server was the friendliest.

Had the price fixe meal. Outstanding food and service. Complimentary birthday dessert. Decor is very modern

fabulous food and great waiters that actually made fantastic recommendations on wine and food selection

Had a quick dinner after 13 hour flight with collegues. Service was excellent with repeating stories about bees that are producing honey at the hotel rooftop. Food was ok, nothing to complain about. Special plus for the chicken soup that was not on the menu, simple and homey.

We had a breakfast meeting at the hotel and just went to the Hotel restaurant. The service and food exceeded my expecation. We came back the second morning and the waiter remembered us and our coffee orders. Avo toast was great; oatmeal was the more enjoyable slow cooked type, rather than the mushy norm. Coffee pot on table is always a real plus, not having to wait for the waiter, especially when the place is busy.

It was my Wedding day! My partner and I wed at City Hall at noon but she had to return to Moscone Center for a conference. So I walked alone nearby. Noticed a restaurant that looked special so I went in. I was greeted right away, seated with a smile. Ordered the Vegetable Tartine. I had not had this before and it was excellent. I never felt awkward dining alone because my waiter, Yeshia, was very nice and attentive. When he heard I had just been married, he offered a free carrot cake dessert that was amazingly good. Trace has just been renovated with long, beautiful "strings" hanging from the high ceiling and elegant lavender seats. I left happy.

Had a nice dinner here. Menu had limited choices but were good such as the flatbread. Chicken was also very good as was the branzino. . Nice wine selection It was also possible to carry on a conversation. Nice service as well

Very noisy restaurant, particularly around the bar area. Often has very large parties which adds to the noise. Sit at the front of the restaurant and you can have a delighted conversation and enjoy some wonderful food. Unusual appetizers, interesting menu, delicious fish dishes, huge portions. Would recommend it to others; service was excellent.

Really good service and nice food. The atmosphere is what to expect from a W Hotel restaurant. Food quality is high in San Francisco so I would for anything else than breakfast try out something else.

I've brought many friends to TRACE to eat and many of them are self proclaimed foodies. I've never heard a single complaint from anyone. Everything on the menu is made with love and the staff make you feel very comfortable. They're all very knowledgable of the menu and will give you honest feedback. The menu is seasonable. I highly recommend the flatbread as a starter.

The service was normal, but the food is outstanding! I had the Chilaquiles because Concierge recommended them and she was right. They were fabulous! We had a great experience overall for breakfast. I couldn't rate any other meal since we didn't have lunch or dinner there.

In the W hotel, has a nice ambiance and menu sounds great, but the food was disappointing. Flavors were out of balance. Some too strong like Kale and others hardly there like the avocado. Edible (and we were hungry), but not what we expected. Waitress came late, often disappeared in an uncrowded venue. Other wait staff were excellent. Would not return.

We ate at trace for breakfast as we stayed at the w. we enjoyed our breakfast, great choice and the service was quick and efficient.

Based in the W hotel we had th egg white scramble and the red quinoa bowl with poached eggs. This month Trace challenged themselves to create a menu without beef. Call them crazy but it's a great way to push the envelop of creativity at breakfast. My egg white scramble with leeks and mushroom came with soy sausage, a delightful change of a strawberry an rhubarb compote and a home made slice of sourdough toast. All of which was very tasty. Our waiter Damian was hilarious an very accommodating. He pointed out the toast comes with butter on both sides. I said sounds good. I like my toast an butter on both sides was the adventure this am. While your tongue is enjoying the butter on the bottom bite, the top bite had this yummy strawberry rhubarb combo that melded with the butter making for a strategically awesome full bite. Gotta try it. The Red quinoa bowl was light an the poached eggs were perfection. It was accompanied with avocado slices an a light spicy sauce on the eggs. A great breakfast all around.

I ate here twice while staying at the W. Service is very friendly. Beet salad is tasty, but very small. Salmon entree was unexceptional; roast chicken entree was tender and flavorful, though salty. Nota bene: There are prostitutes working the bar area of the restaurant. The prices are high.

Excellent service from beginning to end! Waiter took the time to tell us that another server was responsible for the beekeeping duties and honey making for the restaurant. That kind of story makes you appreciate the meal even more. No shortage of bread and beverage offerings. My water glass was never empty! I had the sturgeon and it was excellent. My sister had the scallops and they were perfectly cooked over something akin to Israeli couscous. It was excellent.

Don't bother. SO so so many better places for food and drinks nearby. Zero zero is a great scene in the evenings.

Trace is located in the W Hotel so of course it will be expensive. Excellent service and great atmosphere. We were staying at the W so decided to treat ourselves for breakfast - we thought we were prepared for the prices but were still surprised. Menu is limited but we chose the Churro Waffle - delicious. They were able to provide gluten free choices.

the food is sourced locally and the staff are brilliant--at 10 meals here and would go back any time. Try the flatbreads!

Never been a huge fan of hotel restaurants, but Trace is pretty solid. Came for a team dinner and found the food to be very good.

Most of my experiences with the W San Francisco revolve around hip parties and late night cocktails, little did I realize that Trace in the W San Francisco is home to an accomplished team of restaurant professionals, who really know their stuff! If you are in the SOMA area for a conference or visiting for fun keep Trace on your radar for a marvelous experience. Ok, grab a cocktail or glass in the bar as well. We asked the team to pair food and wine for an early dinner, and happily continued the celebration well into the evening. Tips - Ask for wines by the glass to pair with the dishes. Order to share, and taste as much of the menu as possible. Leave room for dessert!

Trace is one of my absolutely favorite lunch choices. Great folks work there, my favorite being Damian. He makes lunch a special experience whether I am rushed or feeling leisurely. Trace has several dishes I love (classic burger, lamb pastrami, carrot cake, gnocchi with pork) and the bar is also great (and you can eat at the bar).

We are celebrating my birthday in San Francisco and Trace it was the best option for the first night because is on the Hotel were staying, but it was a very nice sorprice, good and kind service and fresh and unique flavors.

We had breakfast, dinner and lunch at this restaurant. Food was very trendy with ambitious names. Waiters are friendly, and the food was Ok but pricy.

If you like modern food prep. You will like this place. The chef likes to put his own twist on every dish. I like the food but it took a bit of a open mind.

Hotel restaurants are often good but seldom near-perfect. Trace is located in the 'W' Hotel and has a small but superb menu. I was in a group of 6 and we were all equally impressed.

I was just off the plane from the UK and had an introductory meeting with some people we are hoping to work with. I could not hear a thing and whats more the lighting so bad I cold not easily read the menu. I had a starter and the pizza shown as a starter as my main course. It was very good and tasty but extremly large and could not eat it all. The waitress was super, friendly and knowledgeable.

I usually don't eat at hotel restaurants especially in a place like SF with so many great restaurants. However my friends and I had late start of morning so decided to eat breakfast at Trace. It was great!! It all tasted very fresh and the service was very friendly which is necessary for the morning. I had Chile quiles sp? and it was great. Would definitely try their dinner next time I am in SF.

I was in town for a convention. My client suggested this place since it’s across the straight from the convention center. The menu didn’t necessarily appeal to me so I ordered a burger. I figured I couldn’t go wrong with that. If was just ok. My burger wasn’t seasoned very well. The description states it is prepared medium. I asked for it to be cooked well. My burger tasted almost burnt on the outside yet it was pink on the inside. The fries were good. Our server was mix and attentive. I would probably choose another location for lunch.

Really good breakfast. Amazing service. Worth it even though it is a bit expensive. One tip is Their granola berry thing. Great!

We arrived at SFO late on a cold and rainy night, and by the time we had gotten to our hotel, places were starting to close in SoMa. We did not want to do the Pied Piper again at the Palace Hotel, so headed toward AME, but they were closed, as was Annabelle's (neither did reopen under those names... ). Mourad was full, and kitchen closing, so we made our way to the W Hotel, and Trace, which was still serving, and full. The welcome was appreciated, and our service was very good, and extremely friendly, especially with the lateness of the hour. The Trace Burger and the Alaskan Halibut were quick to arrive, and were quite good. The wine list adequate, and fairly priced. While we had walked past it several times, we had never thought to dine there - but were so glad that we did.

Food was good and the location very nice. Service is good. If you go for breakfast in the morning do not expect a super fast service, but the quality is good.

Oh my goodness! We stopped for a quick lunch and this had to be one of the best burgers I've had! It was cooked to perfection, medium rare which, although I always order move that way, it rarely arrives at the table less than medium or well. The fries were wonderful as well and there service very attentive.

Breakfast in a hotel will always be on the pricey side, but the staff was only too willing to accommodate my son in his pajamas needing pancakes before 7 a.m. Very nice atmosphere, but mostly geared toward the business meeting breakfast. Would have been nice if they'd had "children's options" on the menu, though.

The food, cocktails and service was really excellent. I had the eye fillet with that delectable porcini mushroom sauce. Saying that, it's expensive. But off and on, it's nice to splurge a bit. Good place for couples and special occasions. The setting is contemporary but the menu is wholesome goodness. A good dining experience in my books.

Excellent kitchen, breakfast and Brunch were delicious, but the amazing service we got from Yaya and Damian is what really stood out. Thank you for making our experience a memorable one.

Staff is excellent and sweet. Order the Chilaquiles with sausage. it's a treat! Also sit by the windows for an amazing vie of buena vista park

Avocado Toast is the best! Service is outstanding...we were treated to great servers and strong coffee accompanied by small milk bottle creamer containers.

Part of W Hotel San Francisco Have “Remix” brunches on weekends 4 entrees w/”drink” pairings: Tasty pizza (non-cheese) w/spicy Bloody Mary Waffles Ricotta pancakes w/sour lemonade drink Food service was just okay; bus service was friendly & very helpful Hotel being remodeled; slight hassle High noise level; heavy beat music Trendy Won’t come back

Food, service and wine list exceeded expectations. Duck was superbly cooked as was the Beef and the Kingfish starter was feet dish.
Late lunch hit the spot
Had a late lunch. Tried hard to be California meets W. Mostly succeeded. Expensive for what you get, but it is in the W.
