Hidden gem in downtown Vegas

By dana |

One of the best places for dinner in downtown Vegas. Hands down the best spinach and artichoke dips I’ve ever had. We went there 7 years ago and i remembered this dish. 7 years later, exactly the same as i remembered. Service was on par with any of the highest end restaurants in Vegas, but maybe nicer, less stuffy, elegant but low key. This restaurant is a not to be missed gem in downtown Vegas. Also the best gin martini I’ve had in Vegas. My partner ordered prime rib and i had the mushroom crepes. The crepes were surprisingly delightful and a great option if you need a break from steak. We have another night left in Vegas and i think we are going back tonight because it was just that good.

Loud but not a bad thing.

By PhoenixPhoenician |

After being seated i noticed the noise level, it was very loud as there were a few large groups arounf us but it was lively and we enjoyed that aspect of the restaurant. I ordered the scallops, very good, shared the lobster mac and cheese, my wife had the roasted chicken, she enjoyed it, she loves chicken! Maybe we were very tired but could not come close to finishing our meals. Our server was nice and efficient, the 2 hostesses were not very friendly, we walked in, no hello or welcome, it was "how many"? and that was it.

Needs improvement

By VegasIrish |

We have been coming to Triple George for years and it seems to have lost its luster. We had to remind the hostess 3 times that we had reservations and felt like we were ignored. Food was delicious but it seems like the overall quality has dipped.

Still Outstanding

By 1466martin |

I wrote a review back in 2014 on the Triple George and have been back many times since. They continue to be an outstanding restaurant. The service is impeccable. The steaks are fabulous and the atmosphere is old school. The prices are still very reasonable. Highly recommended

Very Good Steak

By russpei |

A friend told me about this place, off Fremont, before I went to Vegas. He was right the steaks are great, service was friendly and fast and the locals frequent it too. Its that good.

Hidden gem!

By Haralambos S |

It’s always difficult to find a nice and not expensive restaurant at a touristic place! Las Vegas never sleeps and prices for dining are high. After the show we decided, we would like to have something to eat away from the strip. Downtown Las Vegas came up as an idea as we wanted to see the historical part of the city at night. In one of the streets away from Fremont, we found this old-world-restaurant with reasonable prices. The food was excellent and the service incredible. We loved this old world booth we were seated. It reminded us of movies in the 30s. Portions were big and we couldn’t finish everything. We loved every dish and we will definitely come back to this place on our next visit to Vegas.

Good lunch for sure

A great spot downtown near Mob Museum. Service is very good. Pleasant server and hospitality. Gets busy with lunch crowd. Pot roast or specials are darn good. Validated parking available for nearby parking garage. Food is fresh and decent portions. Clean location.

Best Ribeye I ever had!!!

By Vaycay Diva |

This place was so amazing. The food was delicious. I had the ribeye with the crab cake on top with the sauce. The best thing I ever put in my mouth🤤 I will absolutely be returning!!! HUGE SHOUT OUT to Todd the bartender. Drinks were on point! DELICIOUS 😋 If you like a good steak, some history, a great drink, and impeccable service, you have to try them.

Swimming in it!!!

By Blessed17 |

The rain outside was unusual and they had flood watches and warnings posted. Are you kidding me? In Vegas? And inside we were equally astonished. Great steaks - all of them at the table were cleaned up like we were hungry dogs. Make a reservation. Don’t short yourself with cheap wine - get a good one. They have a good list. And if you’re wait staff was like ours, tip big. On another note: when you get there and turn onto 3rd Street stay left and use the valet lane. They took our car and even brought it back. Made any bad thoughts of parking nonexistent. Bravo!

fun spot...

we were in vegas last week--husband always wanted to stop in here & we finally did--great place--looks exactly like 'the tadich grill' in san francisco--met new friends from texas, sherry & gary--ricardo was our wonderful server--we had their 3-6 happy hour-- so glad we stopped in...

Great place

By TT627 |

Great Lunch special for $20, filling with a little desert. This is the second time we went for lunch, the Chicken Pesto sandwich was very taste with the garden salad and fries. The only negative was the it was freezing in the there.

PERFECT MADE STEAKS

By BADBOYISIN |

This is the place to go for a fun time and food. They have mouth-watering steak and oysters. Come for a happy time, it's well worth it.

Steak!

By Peggy S |

Wasn't sure how this would go, trip so far had limited success along food lines but this place was an awesome surprise. We hadn't packed "dressy clothes" but we were advised it was a casual place so we went for it. The host at the front door was welcoming and friendly, talking about having to take temperatures during this crazy time and we were seated quickly in a slightly higher than "casual" atmosphere in our opinion. We were craving steak and my husband ordered the ribeye with a side of carrots and I ordered the porcini ribeye with brussel sprouts. Both orders were excellent, cooked perfectly. From the bread with butter topped with Italian dressing to the thought of dessert, this place was wonderful. Hopefully we will return here on another trip.

Great Service.

By cmcorbo |

Went here for lunch on a whim as we were in downtown Vegas during lunch time. Very attentive service and pretty good food to boot. It was in a nice quiet area off from Fremont Street (which was nice given the cast of characters on Fremont Street). Would definitely go back.

Great Dinner close to Fremont

Had dinner here with friends. Good was great and staff was attentive and helpful. Will plan dinner here again in the future visits.

A Gem in the heart of old Downtown

By camoria |

6 of us Celebrated a Birthday and our last night in Vegas at this higher end eating establishment. Excellent service and excellent food. Some of the best fried calamari we have tasted and excellent steaks and fish. Everything was good starting with the appies, and main courses, salads and dessert. I truly dont think you could go wrong with any choice. Prices are moderate, the petite filet was $45, our fish special ( sea bass)$38, lamb chops 36. The side veggies were al a carte. Nice wine menu, (anywhere from $39 to over a $100) we tried a merlot $70.but we have had better wines at a lower prices elsewhere. They also included a nice dessert for the Birthday boy

Yummy! Great atmosphere!

Loved it! Amazing food and ambience! Pot Pie worh bread to die for , best server. Beat part of our whole vegas trip!

Bad Experience from routine patrons

By WJGrimes |

I don’t often post bad reviews, however I would be remiss if I kept quite on our night at Triple George’s. In a nut shell, worst dinning experience we have ever had at Triple George. We came for Fathers day and celebrating my best friends 50th year birthday. Several of us are regulars and it has been a go to restaurant when we visit Las Vegas for several years. Hiwever we will have to reconsider coming here any more in the future. In a nutshell the food was cold, orders were wrong, many sides and entrees were not available. Disappointing does not even come close to describing our group’s experience. Out of eight orders seven arrived cold, one order delivered was a burger instead of a bone in fillet. How do you mess that up? Manager was apologetic however gave many excuses rather than owning up to fact that everything was just plain bad and not meeting expectations. Sorry, based on this experience, I’ll consider going to Golden Steer or Capital Grill on our next trip.

Roaring 20s style dining

By NoCalDad |

Partner and I dined here early on a Thursday eve based on reviews here. It was a short walk from our downtown hotel, and the decor & interior atmosphere ("Turn of the century speakeasy" 20th century that is) was the star. We requested a booth on our reservation which was duly honored - interesting arrangement where 2 high-walled booths bookend a single table in the center of the semi-private space. Definitely unique. Had the fried chicken which came with a creamy white gravy and a smear of mash. Hearty and tasty, but not spectacular. My partner ordered the chicken pot pie that looked enormous but was actually shallow so a reasonably -portioned meal. Nice crust on the pie. $60 included a glass of red and pleasant service. Missed out on seafood specials ($65 and $115 surf & turf options) but on a retired person budget, they would have been a painful splurge. Probably worth a visit if you're in downtown and want to escape the buffet crowd.

Amazing Place, Amazing Company, I don't know how they do it!

By ikramull |

this place was so busy on a weekday evening, and the service was still top notch, i don't know how they do it! great classic steak and surf, comforting bar, friendly host, and wait staff was warm and caring. i have not even mentioned the food... wow. on time, custom made, and any tweaks were no problem. dessert was the best way to cap off the night, bread pudding and vanilla ice cream. wow.

A definite must try

By MamaP73 |

Great restaurant! Though it is not on the strip and a couple blocks from Fremont - I would definitely go back. The food was amazing and prepared fresh. We were able to get a reservation the same day for a larger party. Our wait staff was amazing. Most people at our table got a steak and it was cooked exactly to order.

Best steak on the old strip! Triple G’s

By Tiffany L |

Best steak in Vegas. Nothing fancy, great bar, friendly atmosphere and totally casual which is the way I choose to be in Vegas! Well worth the money. I go there every time I’m in Vegas. Go there and eat you won’t be disappointed!

Great restaurant

By Tim Choe |

Went to this restaurant for a dinner with my dad and it was awesome. Great cocktails, wine and appetizers. For some reason, both of us prefer seafood over red meat at this place and they were very good. Finally, the staff is very courteous and attentive to our needs. Very good restaurant!

Excellent knowledgeable server the food was wonderful. Comfortable atmosphere. Best meal we had in Vegas

You need to be an early bird to eat at Triple George

By John K |

I had eaten at Triple George at least 3 times before Covid. We were staying at Golden Nugget, originally we were planning on Chart House but they were still closed. We checked the web site, open until 11. We walked over at 8:45 PM and were promptly told “we have stopped seating for tonight, we’ll reopen tomorrow” Wow. This used to be a late night place. We went next door to Pizza Rock. New York may never sleep, but Triple George is too tired to stay awake.

Good food but worst service ever

By Maksim K |

Good food. Not gorgeous, not best what I had ever. Worst service ever. 10 minutes without any attention and even no water. That forgot about the one meal, haven't brought the steak knife, had to with for a winner for more than 10 minutes etc. It's absolutely inappropriate.

Don't miss the Happy hour.

By Got2go2win |

Creative menu choices. The prime rib was just o.k , The oysters rockefeller was o.k ,the wild mushrooms. I would order again. the crepes were creative but lacked flavor. The ambiance is wonderful and very set in creating a comfortable atmosphere. Go for the Happy hour is your best bet here. Good, real Happy hour value.

Fantastic Steaks at a Reasonable Price

By Lauren T |

I had the petite fillet cooked medium rare plus and it was perfect! The grilled shrimp, sides, and wine were great, too. The service was kind, courteous, and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Superb Meal

By Trip25440 |

We dined at The Triple George our last night in Las Vegas. This was the final note on a celebratory vacation trip and it was flawless. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. I had the buttermilk sage fried chicken and it was superb! The chicken was moist and tender, and well seasoned. The crispy chicken was served with creamy mashed potatoes. The portion size was generous; in fact I couldn’t finish the entree. I enjoyed this so much I’m going to try and recreate the dish at home. Failing that I’ll just have to return to the restaurant.

Disappointed

By tammi b |

Very disappointed. I normally love this restaurant but not last night. I brought my family from Florida to try this wonderful place.the calamari was over cooked the shrimp scampi the shrimp was rubbery the ribeye was way to salty. Just really disappointed and Nadia was so busy handling 7 tables she lacked on the service.

Perfect Lunch

By Iateawholepizza |

Perfect Lunch. Great prices. Great ambiance. Great food. I had the club, wife had the Linch special. Couldn’t be better no complaints.

Outstanding downtown gem !

By Richard O |

We were looking for a steakhouse downtown and the reviews of the triple George grill were very good so we decided to give it a try. So glad that we did! The crab cakes are fabulous the salmon was cooked absolutely perfectly and the fillet that my wife ordered was absolutely fantastic. The drinks were great the service was awesome the ambience was perfect Overall it is on the agenda and I will make sure to recommend to any of my friends visiting the downtown area in Vegas soon.

Consistently Great

By STL Foodie |

Great downtown eatery for a nicer - but not over the top - meal/experience. Love the old bar in the main area as well as the Sidebar. Wide variety on menu with down home dishes mixed with prime specials.

The Triple George Grill is a downtown Vegas institution. Don't Miss It

By MrGaucho1987 |

The Triple George Grill is a downtown Vegas institution. It’s a winner for food and atmosphere. The horseshoe bar is basically exactly the same as the legendaryTadich grill in San Francisco. A totally cool old-school vibe. My dining partner and I both ordered the half-French dip, soup, fries, and dessert which is a great deal for $18. I also went all in Mad Men with a gin martini. Fairly small but delicious. It was all good but a touch salty. I would return, but not in a huge rush. It’s a great place for any occasion but I’d love it for a business meeting. Tey it once. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing Food and great customer service!

By Faythe D |

I give this place a 5 start rating because the food was so good! Very large portions. I could not eat all my food! The shrimp and scallops was jumbo and the pasta was cooked to perfection! The food was hot when it came out! The service was fast and my cup was never empty. This place is a hidden gem! Don’t sleep on this place! I will eat here again!

General Manager has mental health issues...worst experience but what a crazy story to tell...

By KC |

The General Manager was rude and condescending the moment we checked in for our reservations. We made 4 reservations for our group of 16 people. Instead of being grateful for our business he proceeded to pick on us. We are a group of business owners and managers of teams. We solve problems and work with people on a daily basis. We understood that we might not all be able to sit near each other. We were about 8 minutes early..he made us come back at 815 (our reservation time). One host sat two tables outside. One was put inside. Another group was waiting to be seated when Richard came out and made one of the seated groups get up and started yelling at them and threatening to call the cops for trespassing. They were telling him that his employee sat them there but he just refused "to deal with them" and called security. We all got word of what was happening and got up from our tables to see what the deal was. All of us were in total disbelief in the way we were being treated. We were in the area of the restaurant for over an hour and noticed that there were more than enough tables to accommodate us further adding to our confusion of what Richard's problem was...bad day taken out on us? We were in Vegas for 4 days and did all our reservations the same way. All the other restaurants were super accomodating and friendly. I felt bad for the waitstaff for the loss of tips and for what appears to be an abusive and angry boss. Clearly, I do not recommend this place

Good Value steakhouse

By Stuart M |

Went here for one of our groups 30th Birthday. Lovely restaurant and the steaks where brilliant. Ordered medium and came out slightly more raw than normal but it tasted fantastic, service was great from our waitress and I’d definitely recommend. For the price is it definitely worth a visit instead of a lot of the over priced steak houses across Vegas.

Delicious, Classy & Yum!!!

By VegasAnn |

One of the best places in Vegas for steak & seafood! It's downtown, just a block off of Fremont Experience across from the Grand Hotel. It's a classy restaurant with a classic bar, but you can walk in off of the street and they'll still treat you like royalty! Great service, great food! My out of town visitors were impressed. It's also a good late night stop for drinks and dessert!

years of good food

By rbeberfeld |

We have been going here for years...many changes but food always as expected. Service very good and timely

Poor Experience

By Liz20102010 |

We thought this restaurant was average considering the prices charged. The eggplant entree was very unimaginative, (l’m vegetarian) mashed potato with eggplant and rolled in breadcrumbs, a bit like a potato croquet. My husband said the tomahawk steak was good though. The server checked on us a couple of times but when we realised the side of mashed potatoes were nearly cold, we couldn’t tell him as he was busy elsewhere. When we pointed this out at the end of the meal, he changed from friendly to angry, asking us to remember that he had checked on us. He was extremely rude. He offered us a box for the unfinished steak but l had to fill it myself, the server didn’t do it. For $320, we expected better food and better service. I just didn’t feel it was worth the money and the incident with the server spoiled the experience. We paid up and left, l didn’t want further trouble.

Great Spot for Lunch

By rosco1957 |

My wife found this place on TripAdvisor as we wanted something close to the Mob Museum. Great spot sitting on the patio and enjoying the sun and sky! Lunch special with pulled pork sandwich and seafood chowder was great, as was the service and presentation. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area of the .ob Museum, Neon Museum, etc.

AMAZING FOOD

By Sjockiea M |

Ok so everything in Vegas is expensive, but EVERYTHING is not worth it. This place IS worth it. The table side Caesar salad that was made right in of us, the short rib, the chicken parm, the ambiance, the service, it was all worth it. This was the las and best meal we had in Vegas. I wish I could pick this place up and move it to Virginia so that I could any time I want. I absolutely loved it.

Elegant and tasty

By stray_stay2022 |

Delicious food. I got the potatoe soup. Only negative was it only had like 5 small chunks of potatoe it in. My partner got the salmon and shrimp sandwich. Said it was super good. Appears to be ground together. People are dressed nicely there. We walked in with jeans and sweatshirts on and looked a bit out of place but where welcomed with open arms

Enjoyed this place just a block or so away from Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. Service was ok and food was pretty good. It was a pretty good atmosphere.

AMAZING MEAL AND SERVICE!

Dinner on Valentine's day!! Brenda? Was AWESOME! Great 16oz ribeye! The lobster mac and cheese was phenomenal!! Party of 7 they handled us very well!

Best lunch deal in town!

By Knittermama |

For $16.95 we got half-sandwich, salad, soup, dessert and iced tea!!! The clam chowder was full of clams! The atmosphere took us back in time. Loved the old school -lights above the bar. Quite a different atmosphere than on The Strip.

Pot roast

By Matt A |

Triple George is the place to go for the pot roast. You should go here just for it alone. The interior of this place is a wood paneled extravaganza. I would highly recommend the place for its good food and service Downtown.

Nice steak house

By Ann m |

Clean classy convenient. Party of 7 must be on one check. Nostalgic with a nice menu. Fair price for quality of food. Service was good. My crab legs were a little cold but steak was juicy and cooked to order.

this place deserves a higher rating !

By Tom F |

My son does a lot of research on restaurants in Las Vegas This trip he selected Triple George Grill . He picked a winner !! Highest praise for the waiter, ambiance and food. All of us enjoyed the wine list, our meals and the desserts. We sat in a cozy "snug" and enjoyed the evening. A must stop in Las Vegas

Great lunch

By Clifford K |

Not an inexpensive place but the food was outstanding and service impeccable. I would recommend this anytime. We did it after the Mob Museum.

Good Food, Reasonable Prices, Generous Portions and Great Service

By DublinWicklow W |

From the moment we walked in the door the service was great, the right balance of being attentive and timely without being overbearing or intrusive. The food was lovely and sadly we didn't have room for dessert as the menu looked mouth watering. I had the chicken pot pie and am personally proud that I managed to finish it, it was immense and very reasonably priced in my opinion. The place is just a few minutes walk from Fremont Street and a stones throw from the Mob Museum and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Vegas.

Lovely venue with original features

By Mish1012 |

We only called in by chance to have a quick drink. We were drawn in to a place lost in time with original booths and furnishings which set it apart from other bars in the area. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Would love to eat there next time as the food looked great.

Lovely lunch

By Roxanne Cordonier |

We were walking in the neighborhood after a visit to the Mob Museum and came across the Triple George. The facade of this restaurant is lovely in the art deco style of the 30's. The inside was just as charming with wooden booths and lots of stained glass. Our waitress was prompt and friendly and our lunch delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner if you are in downtown Las Vegas.

Wonderful meal

By Amyswrld |

We were in Vegas for a week and this was our favorite meal and one of the least expensive. Great atmosphere and huge portions. We will go back!

Underwhelming...

By The5MRanch |

My wife and I decided to try Triple George on the night we visited Downtown and Fremont Street. We both had the onion soup and it was uninspired and her caesar salad was bland as well. I ordered a bottle of the Patz & Hall chardonnay for our meal, because I love wines sourced out of Dutton Ranch, but they were out of it. To be fair, I did have the filet and it was actually quite good.

Missed the mark at every course

By rcaldin |

Just a terrible experience. Worst meal I ever had for $200. Bread was hard. When we told the server her reponse was you know it's sour dough...yes I know but the bread shouldn't be hard half way to the middle. Salad not much better. My mixed greens were fine but the spinach and arugula salad was over dressed and the pears were unbeatable. Tried to order the brushetta that they advertise but don't sell anymore. Ordered the crab cake and it wasn't cooked in the middle. For dinner I ordered the rack of lamb. I was told it was 6 to 8 chops depending on size. I recieved 6 of the smallest chops ever. For $55 I was not happy. My wife ordered the oxtail stroganoff. The meat was very fatty and not edible and the sauce overtook the gnocchi. 3/4 of it was went to waste. To top it off it took over ten minutes to close out our check. Not a good time. Take your $200 and get a quality meal somewhere else.

There are way better options

By mom2threers |

Crab cake appetizer tasted very “fishy” not in a good way. My steak was very overdone, and when I sent it back (very politely) the waitress first did not believe me, and then was rude about it. She also ordered the wrong side dish for us. When my recooked steak arrived, the manager was also rude and condescending when he had me check my steak doneness. The missing side showed up well after we were done eating. Just an all around bad experience.

Incredibly Disappointed. Go elsewhere for steak.

By David H |

Went to Triple George on a Tuesday night. Decided to go there as we’ve had friends who have been their several times for happy hour and also get some $ off by staying at the Downtown Grand next door. Had an 745 reservation for 6 people. We were promptly seated. Waited a few minutes for a server. Ordered calamari and charcuterie board per server suggestion. Both were good. They also brought out bread and butter. Butter was soaked in Italian dressing. A little different , but tasked ok. I ordered wedge salad, wife ordered house salad. Both were good and what you would expect. Salad was fresh and and cold. For the main course, I ordered a filet medium rare. Wife had roasted chicken. 4 others had ordered various steaks as well. After a while, 3 of the 4 steaks were horribly over done. They were sent back. Manager came by and apologized and took them back. Given this is supposedly a steak place, i was surprised. Mine was closer to medium well. My baked potato had chives which I specifically said no chives. Anyway, they brought that out. No worries. Wife did love the roasted chicken. After about 15 minute or so, new steaks came back out. Most were actually under this time, which I’d rather mine be under than over so didn’t mind. The filet was as tender as would think for that cut of meat, but there was ZERO flavor. Didn’t taste and seasoning. So asked the waitress for A1 that she forgot and waited another 15 minutes for. Finally got it back, had about half the steak and I was done. Had a couple of beers and with the apps, wasn’t that hungry anymore anyway. Manager never came by to check on us after we started eating which was disappointing. He did give us 2 desserts to share. Which was fine. Our server was friendly and personable, but that’s the only good thing I can stay about my experience. Service was generally slow. We left about 10pm. For a $50+ steak and $500 check for 6 people, (one couple sharing steaks and salad). I expected a lot more. We had steak at Saltgrass early in the week and would go there over this place. Many many other good steakhouses in Vegas. So disappointed and will not go back.

Night out

A friend recommended this Restaurant since I was going to Las Vegas, and it did not disappoint. The food is mouthwatering try the queens cut prime rib with baked potato and the grilled asparagus plus drinks. The entire staff were knowledgeable and helpful we choose a both which was spacious and very comfortable the entire menu looked very good. Close to Freemont Street and the Mob Museum. Great Location, Great Prices and greet prices if you want to walk and do stuff later on

Unexpected pleasure

By aah173 |

We came across the Triple G as we walked from the Mob Museum to Fremont Street, and decided to reserve a table for dinner a couple of hours later, as it looked like a lovely old fashioned bar, and was quite busy. Upon our return, we sat at the bar to try the cocktails (particularly Old Fashioneds!), and were served by a friendly bartender before being taken to our table by equally friendly front of house staff. We were seated in a little booth for 4, and our waitress was great. Good food, reasonable wine, and a real buzz about the place. We would recommend people to visit when downtown.

Upmarket Dining In Downtown Las Vegas

By Jdt |

We enjoyed a very nice meal here and regret that we only ate here once! The food was fairly starightforward European style meat and fish (with some good vegetarian options) but done with top quality ingredients and prepared with skill. Everything was cooked, prepared and presented very well and the decor and ambiance were very classy and refined, we were served by Brenda who provided a first class, professional and warm service throughout the meal. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an upmarket, classy dining or lunch in Downtown Las Vegas.

Top notch meal - pricy

By piccode |

Well - the meal was top of the line. Likely the best ribeye my wife an I had. The French onion soup was outstanding as well. Soup, drinks and rib eye - for 2 people) will cost you about $200 (includes top)

Posh Steak In Vegas

By Lala_Tink2008 |

This restaurant was recommended by our guide on our walking tour we did that same day! This is an upmarket restaurant and we did stand out a little in our shorts and t-shirts!! Saying that, we wasn't turned away and received a warm welcome from the waiter. On receiving the menu, my friend chose the steak and I went for a pot roast!! It was sublime indeed to say the least and we enjoyed our food very much. Yes it wasn't cheap and if you are out for a special occasion then this restaurant would be an excellent choice indeed. If we visit again, smarter attire might be more called for!!

Hidden Gem in Downtown Las Vegas

By robertcsd |

If you are looking for a fantastic dining experience with a touch of old Las Vegas, Triple George is the place to go. The restaurant has a feel of Las Vegas class and the menu will give you plenty of options no matter what your taste is. As a Las Vegas local, when I have guests in town Triple George is where i take them to give them a great dining expereince. I have tried most of the menu and never been disappointed. EVERYTHING is delicious and done to perfection. Staff is attentive and just a short walk off Fremont Street gives you plenty of options after your meal to have a great evening downtown. If you are coming to Las Vegas put it on your list!

New favorite steakhouse

By Ron H |

If you have not had the pleasure of visiting this hidden gem, make plans. It is a block off of Fremont street, situated next to a biker bar, and it is my new favorite steakhouse in Vegas. We ordered the charcuterie board, which was fantastic. Then the flat iron steak with a side of cream spinach. The steak was perfect. The temperature was spot on, it was flavorful and juicy. One of the best steaks I’ve eaten that I did not cook myself. The cream spinach was absolutely incredible. Creamy and buttery with bread crumbs. To top off the amazing food, the staff was phenomenal. We were greeted at the door where the host informed my wife there were no bathrooms. HE WAS JOKING! She almost panicked before he broke a smile. We sat at the bar where Marty and Todd treated us like family. This has replaced another steakhouse in a cellar as my favorite in Vegas. Do yourself a favor and eat here!!

Marvellous setting, excellent service!

By englishgirl99 |

Visited with 5 friends last night and was very pleased with my impromptu choice. My friends were in town from Reno staying at Golden Nugget. 2 wanted steak so booked Vic & Antonys but we couldn’t get added to the reservation nor were there any options for one who is vegetarian. After much searching as some restaurants are closed, some were booked and some didn’t have more than one vegetarian dish I found George. The host was more than accommodating when I called to say we would be late. Justin our server was INCREDIBLE! What a guy. One of our party is on leave from the navy and needed to have good steak and lobster and Justin was fabulous at recommending just the right dish. For my starter I chose the pork belly squares. Elegantly presented. My hubby had the charcuterie board which was wonderful to have Parma ham! (Brit living in USA missing European foods!). Our friends had the mushroom fries, calamari and truffle fries - all excellent. Cocktails were well made too. Our main courses, I chose the pork chop - excellent sweet and spicy sauce with it and for a random addition I had a king crab leg! My hubby shared a tomahawk with a friend. Not as good as the steak we cook ourselves (needed more seasoning and a better crust). The mushroom risotto was excellent and the pasta primavera l. We shared the tiramisu and bread pudding. The bread pudding was excellent- almost like a tres leches. The tiramisu was good - needed more booze in it but maybe that’s because I had an espresso martini which maybe overpowered it. All in all a great restaurant- EXCELLENT service and will come back!

COZY Booths & Super Great Staff

By Seean P |

Limited menu. The pasta was super great & fresh, but too spicy for me, So I ordered ice cream (not on menu!) & they got it for me!! Mixed drinks are great, So I had 3 of them! COZY booths so great, U can have a private conversation. Loved everything about this gem!

Good meal, great atmosphere, slow service

By tmarcone |

Had a 7PM reservation on Saturday night and was promptly seated in a bar booth as requested. This was our 1st trip here so we did not know what to expect. The busman dropped bread and water immediately and then.....we.....waited..... The bar booths are waited on by the bartenders and at 7PM on a Saturday they were overwhelmed. We tipped out the booth and had the hostess move us to bar seating. Great bar atmosphere. Service was still slow but at least we had a cold beverage in front of us at all times. Food was good, they do not split meals in the kitchen but extra plates were brought. I would go back to the Triple G but sit at the bar and not on a Saturday night.

Capital N capital O

By CPlanek |

Capital N capital O! Walked in for a 7p reservation, host was on the phone. If you are charging $70 for a steak… that’s a no no. Waited 20 for our waitress to come to our table, another 10 to get our drinks and take our order. When an additional 15 mi passed and our app salad did not come out.. we settled up and left. Can not believe this place has the reviews that it does… the place was virtually empty. Should have been our first clue.

Very good!

By Rob M |

I really enjoyed the crab cake. The Caesar salad and lobster Mac were also delicious. Our server was really great.

Food is awesome and our server Becky was awesome! I love the atmosphere of the place. I only get to Vegas once in awhile but I totally recommend this place

Good restaurant

By seminolemom09 |

It is in a very good location right outside of Fremont St. A little overpriced but the food was good. My filet was a little tough but the sweet potato mash was excellent. The pot roast was very tender.

Great lunch

By vegasrugbyref |

Located downtown near the Mob Museum this eatery and bar is great. A ton of who's who from Vegas daily. Meals are freshly prepared and good portions. Staff are friendly and helpful. Social distancing in place. Parking garage validation available.

Always a terrific experience

By McWett |

We sat at the bar as always and Marty, one of our favorite bartenders took care of our drinks. ( Todd is our other favorite bartender but he was off tonight). We had the Valentines Day dinner and it was wonderful. We would love to see the Oysters Rockefeller and the sea bass added to the menu as they were terrific. The lobster bisque was great as it had nice chunks of lobster in a rich broth. They were able to do my steak “black and blue” perfectly. The trio of desserts was a great finish. We come here often and have never been disappointed. It was nice that George the general manager took the time to say hello on a bustling evening.

Disappointed . . .Expected more.

By Alvin N |

Had Thanksgiving Dinner with 11 in attendance (from several families meeting from six parts of the country) anxiously awaiting a great 8:00 pm dinner to end the long day. The waiter apologized for being backed-up and informed us that the demand for the Thanksgiving Special (Turkey) exceeded their expectations and additional birds needed to be cooked and required just a few more minutes in the oven . . . huummm . . . that seemed very odd, as it takes several HOURS to cook a turkey and they would have needed to know that they needed more turkey at 3:00 pm or thereabouts ? ? ? . . . . . anyways, we all wondered how the birds were being "cooked". When the plate came out, I expected the turkey that "just came out of the oven" to be HOT, maybe WARM at worst. It was . . . "COOL" and not indicative of having just been taken out of the oven and I said out loud "this turkey is cold . . . " The Waiter apologized and took it back . . . "we are not going to just put it in the micro-wave, I promise". The next plate that came out was HOT, including the Plate. Very nice meal, very small portion, but it was nice. Overall, the Servers seemed to not know who ordered what meal, throughout the evening. Plates were given to the incorrect person and we all chimed-in to correct the server and passed the plates around . . . seemed like we were at the local Diner. It was a bit fun, but I had expected more of an establishment such as this. There were also another "issue" for one of the guests, but she was sitting on the other end of the table and I was in conversation and did not pay much attention to that. The lady who I sat a few seats to my left to had the "mushroom - something" Risotto and she claimed the rice was undercooked and a bit hard. She was going to eat it, but we all informed the Waiter . . . it was returned and she said that she did not want a replacement and none was brought back, nothing was offered as a replacement as well (and it was taken off the Invoice) . . . At the conclusion of dinner, the poor waiter told us that we were going to be given "extra" desert, which none of us wanted as most of us had a desert that came with the Turkey Special 4-Course Meal. The funny thing was that we were given deserts that had a "Happy Birthday" thing/post/item in it . . . I had asked for a scotch instead of the 2 deserts (1 that came with the meal and the "extra"), but was told that were were being offered only extra deserts. I was the only one asking for something instead of the deserts . . . I would have thought that they would have obliged . . . There were basically 3 family units. The Party of 6 was given a 20% discount, which the person paying for it tipped on the full amount regardless. My Party of 3 were not offered any discount, nor did I ask, which I probably should have. The third party, who had no issues, also paid full price, which was fine with them. The shrimp appetizer was excellent, as was the salad. My son who also had the risotto enjoyed his. The wine selection that the waiter suggested was also very good. Main dinner dish was "OK", nothing to rave or tell your friend about . . . The Manager could have done much more instead of leaving the Waiter to face all of us and only coming by later. We all felt a bit sorry for the Waiter, he was doing his best to accommodate. Would I go back to Triple George Grill, probably not, did not feel to welcomed, food was just OK, nothing special. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone I know. And the most funny part is that we are not picky Diners, really. This is the first time I had ever returned a dish of any kind and I am in my 60's and have traveled my share. Hope it goes well for those who do patronize this establishment, I hope that our experience is the exception.

AWFUL customer service

AWFUL restaurant and AWFUL customer service! There are many other places to go to. I would never go here again. The food made me sick.

Hidden gem in downtown

By VTHokie4L23 |

What a neat find right across from the Downtown Grand. The pot roast was so tender you didn't even need a fork. The burger was unreal with extra toppings and vegetables. Calamari surprisingly was especially well cooked, not chewy, and had lots of peppers with marinara sauce. French fries and calamari were both super lightly fried which is rare to find. It was our anniversary and when the waitress heard us talking she brought a special treat out on the house after our meal. What a great place. We will be back!

Nice

By AcadiaFernbrook |

I wanted to sit outside to enjoy the great weather and was immediately seated for lunch on the patio but waited more than 10 minutes with no service before I went to check with the hostess. Shortly after that a wait person provided me with water and asked for my order. I could state my food order but had to ask for a drink menu. After that, service was smooth and my meal of grilled octopus and minestrone soup was delightful. The patio is on the street and not very appealing but the chairs are comfortable.

Lunchtime menu

By cjp82 |

Had lunch here during our visit to Las Vegas with 3 others and we all absolutely loved it. I had the Italian hoagie, my wife had pasta, my friend had the burger and his wife had the special sandwich (egg at the time). Great food, nice atmosphere and brilliant service. Will definitely revisit, the other couple actually did on our last day in Vegas 😂

Memorable meal in a great place

By EmpressM |

The food and service and atmosphere here are all first-rate. It's a really classy restaurant with lots of wood, comfy boots even private booths. Outstanding bartenders making every drink imaginable just the way you want it. Don't miss the best crabcakes ever. The steaks are worth every penny. Oh and the sourdough bread from a San Francisco starter is worth a second basket.

The ultimate dinner experience

By sterlingbaby |

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Triple George Grill, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the experience was perfection. Our server, Mo, was absolutely outstanding—warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our evening special. We ordered the steak for two, and wow… it was hands down one of the best steaks we’ve shared in a very long time. Incredibly tender, juicy, full of flavor, and truly melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The meal was beautifully presented and thoughtfully curated, complete with warm, delicious sourdough bread, a fresh and crisp salad, and a side of our choice. We chose the asparagus—total yum! Mo also recommended a house Cabernet that paired perfectly with the meal. As if that weren’t enough, our dinner was topped off with the most amazing cheesecake. OMG—pure bliss. We arrived early, which made the atmosphere quiet, romantic, and wonderfully removed from the typical casino crowd. It was the perfect setting to celebrate 34 years together. If I could give Triple George Grill 10 stars, I absolutely would. We’ve been to Las Vegas many times, and this was hands down the best dinner we’ve ever had here. Hats off to the chef, to Mo, and to everyone who helped make our evening so memorable. We will absolutely be back.

Total Rip-Off!

By D90Don |

Total Rip-Off! Vegas Local, and fifth time to Triple George for Happy Hour. Happy Hour is advertised on the website 3-6pm Monday-Friday. Arrived at 5pm on a Monday. Ordered 2 Beers and 2 Steaks. I was told Happy Hour Menu not available due to "Convention" in town. I didn't bother to ask about drinks.... shame on me; but when I received the bill, drinks are NOT priced to the "happy hour" during Happy Hour either - if the said convention is in town....There is always a convention in town in Vegas... WTF? Not too happy a place the Triple George. To add insult to injury, ordered the 10oz Filet, but received a 6oz Filet on the plate. That of course is due to shrinkage during cooking. Whatever... Fool me once, shame on me.. Last time to this place. Definitely canNOT recommend. Experiences like this just want to make you want to eat at home. Horrible $150 dollars spent out the door. 10 times at the Chic Fil-A would be 100x more satisfying than one visit to this place. Again, Rip-OFF. No Happy Hour as advertised. Go somewhere else and save your money.

Fantastic

By dee2233 |

This place is a must! Especially now when so many place still are not open or at full menu. We came here as it is close to the Downtown Grand and we were pleasantly surprised! The service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely go back if we are downtown again!

Pretty good happy hour food.

By Ramadama |

We happened to go in during happy hour, so we sat at the bar. We ordered the calamari and turkey meat balls which were excellent. The Ceasars salad was underwhelming, below average. The happy hour cocktails were good at $8. The service was the real downfall. The waitress was nasty and not nice along with providing very slow service. It 20 minutes to get a cocktail.

I couldn't have been much worse

By Wilamina G |

Okay, well the total experience was well quite frankly abysmal. Promised a booth, not available. Upon checking in a total lack of caring or appealing invitation. Complete confusion, or just complete incompetence. Sorry to be so harsh, but true. We waited for our booth, no communication, we were left to wonder. Then no booth available, go to this annex room, which was completely empty sans us. We looked in, and no one showed us a table. So what? Just pick one I guess. We sat and waited for 5-10 minutes, finally a person gave us water. Then came our server with the menus. No discussion, no interaction just here you go. Finally we ordered our meal, slit a ribeye (more to come on that), a shrimp cocktail, and macaroni and cheese. The dramatically overpriced shrimp cocktail cam and was plopped down unceramoiniously, without a word, and was terrible, small, watery, and bad. I ordered a glass of wine the only one I would have all night, not for lack of wanting another, just no service to be had. Our ribeye came on a plate, no offer for cutting, splitting nor were other plates offered. We had to ask for plates. Our server, AOL. I wanted pepper for the oh so plain Mac n cheese, I spied some on the server station which I retrieved. Began grinding when the server showed up and took the grinder from me and ground more which I said I didn't want, not another word and left. The last time we would see her until the check. The ribeye, I don't think so, zero marbling, thin maybe 3/4 of an inch, shoot Texas Roadhouse is better yuck. We saw the server, what, 3 maybe 4 times. Oh, the offer of more wine, at the check presentation. Water refill? Forget it. I a word "Terrible" and not I. A good way. Stay away!

Amazing food!

By Kevin |

The rack of lamb was amazing!!! Best entree at a table of four. Crème brûlée was delicious!! Nadia was our server and fantastic guide through the menu with great service!

Horrible Manager

By R D |

I saw a cockroach droppings in the restaurant and I pointed it out and the manager proceeded to yell at me in front of everybody and kicked me out

Good Happy Hour but not cheap

By ScotVA |

Really went to Triple George for Happy Hour. It was excellent but not cheap. Decent House red. Great calamari but probably not as big a portion as the non Happy Hour order. Also, had a salad that was not on Happy Hour menu but was excellent. Great bartender too. Will go again if I'm in downtown LV.

Fabulous!

Service and food was fabulous We had an early dinner, but I still recommend reservations. It is located an easy 1 block walk from Freemont Street.

Delicious Food in an upscale environment

By ckqtoo |

5 of us went on New Years Eve and everything we had was delicious. My petite filet was cooked to perfection!! The black cherry lemon drop was 1 of the best lemon drops I’ve ever had!! Perfect place to go if you are on Fremont and want a nice dinner. We stayed on the strip and visited Fremont before enjoying our dinner. Well worth it!

A Gem

By Niki A |

I love the old-school ambiance. They are attentive and make you feel welcome. I really enjoyed the food. I would recommend the crab cakes; they are perfectly cooked, and I love every bite

A Go-to every time we're here!

By CathyEC |

Yummo! The service was prompt, the atmosphere was not overstated & very nice, and food SO GOOD! Several people were celebrating birthdays so it was a festive time! I had Chicken Parm that was awesome, but the best was my husband's pork chop. I wouldn't order the Brussel sprouts again tho.

Four stars ONLY because of the quality of food

By Susan G |

Yesterday, after a trip to Red Rock Canyon, our friend and guide took us to Triple George downtown near Fremont. It was supposed to be Happy Hour from 3-6 pm Monday thru Friday, but as someone else mentioned in their review, NO HAPPY HOUR. Not a good start. There were at least four bartenders working, and it took nearly 7 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge our presence. 😔. Once we did order, our drinks came. The Kentucky Mule, the Ginger Cosmo, and Cuba Libre were all quite nice, as were the apps we shared—Spinach Artichoke Dip and Portabello Fries (our fav!). If we went again, I’d call to confirm happy hour. Our bill came to $60 before tip. Damn.

Will definitely go back

By sue s |

I wanted a good burger for lunch. This had good ratings so I tried it out. My burger was a 10 out of 10!!! Big, grilled, hot sweet potato fries. it was enough for two! Worth the $20

Worst visit

By Terrikka M |

I had a large party was asked to pay the deposit which was paid got to the restaurant and paid the remaining balance of over $1000 again no problem ordered about $2-300 in drinks a person in the party found HAIR in their food and was not offered a new steak. Called Kathy and was given the run around asking if "we were late for the reservation or left later than our 7:30 time" when asked what that have to do a refund for hair in the food she replies "she has to investigate" so being 10 mins late to dinner equals hair in the food being OKAY? I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS RESTUARANT

Definitely worth a try food & service are on par to any Vegas high end restaurant. High end experience without the cost.

By paula |

We went from a party of 14 down to a party of 5. Becca handled it with grace and was very professional. She offered suggestions on the menu. We tried the turkey meatballs, they where delicious. The burger huge and also well prepared, the petite filet was the best steak I had the entire time in Vegas. It was tender flavorful and cooked to order. Crab cakes had no filler and was wonderful. Highly recommend this place. It was recommended by our cab driver. So glad we went.

Great place!

By ltdan_o |

We stumbled on to this place in the downtown area. The atmosphere was great, service impeccable, and food outstanding. It is not cheap (nothing is in Vegas these days) but is a good choice for a nice meal, especially for a special occasion.

Downtown Dining Hotspot!

By Jake T |

Triple George truly is a downtown gem. We have gone for dinner multiple times, and have yet to be disappointed by the delicious food menu, as well as the varied cocktail options. This restaurant is a perfect dinner spot before heading to The Smith Center for a show, or other fun Downtown activities like The Neon Museum or Mob Museum. Definitely check this one out!

Must try!

By **aine**77 |

One of the best meals I've ever had! I had the spicy shrimp and scallop linguine and my god was it good. Partner had the chicken pot pie which could feed two people and the side of mash was absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices, lovely staff. Highly recommend.

Does not disappoint!

By Lauri L |

The restaurant has nice vibe to it, the staff are all genuine and on their game. I had the Half Roasted Chicken with a side of their Wild Mushrooms and my friend ordered the Chicken Parmesan, the food was excellent.

Not a good experience.

By SolMan60 |

Made a reservation for this place on open table app for my birthday trip to vegas by my wife. Stated it was my birthday on the reservation. We tried it based on the reviews and that we didn't need to uber there because it was close to our hotel. When we arrived I asked the receptionist to please make sure I get my open table points for the res. She said it was automatic....it never showed. Anyway we sat down and wife ordered the french onion soup and I ordered the cioppino and truffle fries. Meal came and wife said the French onion soup was very little soup and mostly bread...she didn't like it. My cioppino was just ok. After a while I told the waitress that we were still waiting on the fries. She appologuised and said she forgot but we said nevermind because we weren't impressed with everything else. She did come back with the fries and said "on the house" and sorry. We didn't eat the fries either because they were just not good, no flavor and had were the skin on kinda fries....not what you would expect for $15. Also I never got any happy birthday wishes from the receptionist or waitress. Nada! Overall this was on par to an overly expensive applebee's and I would not recommend it for any special occasion.

Perfection

Great Restaurant Near Mob Museum

By Kathy D |

I had an appointment to tour the Mob Museum and I stopped here for a late lunch. I ordered the fish tacos, fries and iced tea. Fish tacos were top notch with a mango chutney, the freshly brewed iced tea (ice cubes were made of iced tea also), and fries were tasty. they had several options for fries (sweet potato, old bay, etc. the dinner menu looked good Salmon, Pot Roast, etc. Hope to return again on my next trip to Vegas.

A great steakhouse option in Downtown Las Vegas

By Steff A |

It's been about 5 years since my last TGG visit, they did a great job during this Corona Virus visit with the BFF... TG Grill ambiance & service: RSVP'd via Open table and our reservation was ready as booked. Classy and classic old school Vegas steakhouse vibe makes for a great dining environment. Our server was friendly and she checked on us frequently. The kitchen delivered our dishes to the table quickly on a busy Saturday night. The gorgeous long bar is closed per the governor's orders and the restaurant was at 50% capacity for compliance. COvid 19 protocols were followed and the service didn't falter. TG Grill cuisine Crab Cakes - Delicious and a must order if you're crab cake fans like us. Creamed Corn - Tracer rounds were creamy, sweet and a perfect side for any meat dish. lobster mac n cheese - The cheeseyness of this was over the top perfectt and it was packed with lobster flavor. Packed to the perfect amount right before it overwhelms the cheese. I'm definitely ordering this next visit regardless of my main dish. Lamb Chops - This was my main course and it was fantastic. Tender, juicy, packed with flavor that was brought to me medium rare of course. The best part was the generous serving of lamb chops. I definitely left full. The BFF went with petite filet and I sampled a savory portion. She devoured it before I finished my Lamb chops. Triple George Grill is a solid steakhouse option in the downtown area. Definitely book a reservation as we watched multiple walk in parties get turned away because of the capacity restrictions. I'm really curious about the George burger and I see that happening in a lunch visit soon. Cheers!

10/10

By Amanda Brown |

Amazing!!! We had head lots about this so travelled from the strip down for a visit and would recommend to everybody. A great vibe, very old vegas. We had a booth and order d the ceasor salad. 2 fillet steaks and sides (FYI sides are huggggeee) and everything was cooked perfectly and for such a reasonable price. The service was also fantastic; we had just got engaged and they have us an amazing pudding on the house. Thanks for making our evening a special one :)

Excellent restaurant near the D and Mob Museum

Our group went here for lunch, as it had been arranged by someone living in Vegas. It was a very good location and the food was excellent. Recommend it if you’re in the area.

Great restaurant off Fremont St.

By Scott A |

We were in Las Vegas and received the recommendation to check out this place for dinner. We were seated in a nice booth and had excellent service. Everything we ordered was delicious from the crab cake, our salads and the steak. Would definitely go back there the next time we come to Vegas.

Best steak

By Amie L |

Ordered the steak and it was soooo good. The service was fabulous and the ambiance of the restaurant was great. I will be adding this to my must visit places next time I’m in Vegas. Best spot downtown!

Embrace it. Honor it. Respect it. Experience life before Clown World.

By TravelDoc |

I have not been to a steakhouse this good in a very, very long time. If you remember a time before the internet, mobile phones, and celebrity everything—when crudités were served and customers were celebrated for being civil humans rather than influencers—then, my friend, you have come home. I cannot emphasize enough that the staff busted their asses to cook well, serve well, and recommend well. Everything was perfectly prepared, including New York Strips, Ribeye, Prime Rib, and my wife's silly chicken salad (silly because she wants us all to know how bad red meat is for men). Sides included mashed potatoes, asparagus, and spinach. Food aside, they treat strangers like welcome friends. No pressure. No race cards thrown in our faces. Just a perfect lack of bullsh*t. Six of us ventured to dinner here, wanting nothing more than a good time, good food, and fair prices. We left with serenity—and a little hope for humankind.

My long story of why you should go to Triple George ~

By A_V_Wedding_Lady |

Sorry this is so long. Ok imagine you have planned a 70th birthday party for your husband in another state, think Vegas because it’s got a lot of choices. You have guests flying in from Georgia, North Carolina, Fresno, family’s driving from Pasadena, Los Angeles, and Lancaster. The hotel (Bellagio) is perfect the bakery has made a lovely cake. We arrive at the restaurant 30 minutes early and are told the wait time is two to three hours. (I called and made arrangements twenty-six days earlier) their reply was to hang up on us while we were trying to figure out how to fix it. My husband is George II. My son is George III. My grandson is George IV so a restaurant named Triple George has got to be alright. The were the best! With no notice they accepted our large party and took excellent care of us. Stephanie is the best! Everyone enjoyed their food. My husband, brother and brother in law loved their steaks. My daughter is a picky eater she loved her chicken pot pie. Two people ordered the spicy shrimp pasta and enjoyed it. My daughter in law and I ordered the risotto it was creamy perfection. Even though I cannot say enough about the quality of the good food it was their kindness to an over stressed grandmother that really came through. A special thanks to Richard Douglas facilitated everything.

Mobsters Really Know How to Eat

By J C |

Ok, maybe mobsters aren't the only clientele at Triple George Grille, but their lunch options are fantastic for any passerby. The bread and sauce are wonderful, and the drinks are tasty. The restaurant has a preserved ambience of the Roaring 20s, adding to the delicious dishes on their menu. And, their designation as a steakhouse fits their steak dishes. My wife had the New York Strip steak with mixed vegetables and sweet potato fries with a peach ginger soda drink. I had a salmon (substituted for chicken) with an asparagus and brussel sprout medley, a great substitution suggestion by the waitress. The steak was cooked perfectly, the vegetables were flavorful, and no sauces were needed for anything. The salmon was cooked perfectly and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. The booths were perfect and secluded for conversation, even blocking out noise from the kitchen, which we sat next to. And, they have a gardein chicken option for vegetarians.

Triple George Grill Staff Goes ABOVE and BEYOND in providing service!!

By Joel W |

Big E, Bobarino and I always have dinner at Triple George Grill when we go to Las Vegas. We had a very memorable evening on Thursday, September 19th while we were in town to see the Eagles at the Sphere. We took UBER from our hotel to Triple George. Unfortunately, I left my CELL PHONE in the car. I did not realize it until our driver had left. Enter Donella and Liz!! They did everything that they could to help us by saving our table while we contacted the driver to get my phone back. They even ordered drinks from the Bar for us while we stood outside and waited to see if the driver would respond. Donella and Liz checked with us for the next 30 minutes to see how things were going. Finally, after 30 minutes, the Uber driver came back and he had my phone!! I gave him a big $$ tip and thanked him profusely. That allowed Big E, Boboarino and me to enjoy our dinner at Triple George. Donella and Liz really took care of us! Thank you so much, ladies!!! We hope to see you on our next trip to Las Vegas! Triple George Grill ROCKS!!

Great Food and Ambiance at Downtown Las Vegas!

By geeko30 |

From the beginning to the end of our dinner, the service is attentive and the food is simply excellent. The chicken pot pie is big and can be share between two or one with a big appetit :), the curry mango dish is delightful, their wine selection is impressive as well as their beer taps and cocktails. A little something for everyone.

Great burger

By J B |

My wife and I had just walked through the Mob Museum and were ready for some lunch. We asked some of the locals if they had a recommendation, and they told us to check out the Triple George Grill, which is just a short walk from the museum. We were seated right away. I had the house burger, and my wife had the turkey club. Both meals were excellent including the fries. Our server, Ruben, was excellent. He made sure we had regular drink refills and was very attentive. Great recommendation from the local population.

Worst visit we ever had

By Romjester |

Pre-COVID we have been here a few times and always extremely happy. Went for wife’s birthday in late May. Had to wait to be seated even though multiple tables and booths available. Was sat in the middle of the alternate room with chairs you sink into. Surrounded by three large groups. Some quite loud. Server was nice. We had the ribeye which was tough and gristly. We pointed out it was not medium rare and server looked and said it has pink center. Should have requested new steak but was not offered. If you visit, be sure to insist on the booth in the main restaurant and make sure your food meets your expectation.

Great choice

By traveler46466 |

Excellent choice. Very good lunch fare. Great service. Although we are outdoors the Interior is immaculate. Definitely a must

Satisfying and delicious lunch

By Becky |

More expensive option in the area but worth it. Our food was excellent. We went for lunch and had soup and salad option with additions. The soups were thick and hearty and the salads well balanced ($16 and meat can be added to salad for additional $). Fresh bread with oil and butter was also offered. Nice classic feeling place with long wooden bar down the center and semi-private booths. It felt very old-fashioned but in a good way. Serving staff were nice and helpful and not too pushy or trying to upsell stuff. We didn't do the lunch special for $20 but I think that would be a good deal - half sandwich, soup or salad, fries, and desert. We didn't want the sandwich or desert so didn't go with that. The food is all pretty heavy and the lunch menu doesn't have as many options as dinner so I don't think it would be someplace for a light meal or quick bite. When we were there, it was mostly empty but I can imagine it gets very busy at dinner, there were maybe three dining rooms (with regular tables).

My New Favorite Vegas Restaurant

By Angela D |

So glad I choose this restaurant for my sisters birthday dinner. Everything was perfect. We had a reservation, so we didn’t have to wait and was seated very quickly. Our waiter was quick with service and polite. The chef Rory visited our table, was very welcoming, and offered to answer any questions we had about the menu. Everything we ordered came out quick and was beyond our expectations. I had steak that was so tender! The king crab leg was the perfect add on. Also, the bread pudding was amazing. This will definitely be come Vegas go to, whenever I am in town.

Excellent food and service

By cosportsfan |

My wife and I had dinner here on a Friday night. Mo, our sever was very friendly and professional, had great suggestions for food and drink. Mo recommended the 28oz bone-in ribeye and 7oz lobster tail to share. It was very good and cooked to perfection. Mo also recommended the perfect drink for my wife. Overall we had a great experience and I would defined recommend this place. Prices were also reasonable considering this is an upscale steakhouse.

Glad we found!

Great atmosphere, selection of alcoholic beverages and food. Entire staff was great. I knew it was a classy place when I first walked in and saw their business cards.

ok if you get a comfortable seat

By BrianMa |

We had the salmon and the steak and both were good. The potato was to big even though we split it between us. The booth seating needs to be addressed as it was very difficult to sit for the whole meal. There was a very low frequency boom boom boom that kept making my ears pop. Otherwise this place would have been unsurpassed.

Great Happy Hour excellent service

By John D |

Stopped in 10/07/21 prior to visiting Downtown Grand casino (right across street) for Happy Hour - was excellent, sat at the bar, great martinis and excellent food. try the fried calamari - Happy Hour prices were great - highly recommend and will defiantly return

Excellent

This place us outstanding for any occasion. The food, outstanding, service was the best. Nadia is excellent, i felt like i was her only customer, going back again and again

A Hidden Gem

By Gordon |

This place rivals any of the steakhouses on Fremont. We dined here recently and always enjoy their cocktails to start the evening. Our server Nadia was absolutely the best. She took great care of us. You must try the Spinach Artichoke dip. Nothing like this at other restaurants. It’s not the gooey cheesy garbage that most places serve. We also had the Chicken Parmigiana. Perfect in every way. We tend to forget about this place due to its location. A hidden gem.

Great lunch

By vegasrugbyref |

Triple George is a great restaurant located downtown Las Vegas near the Mob Museum. Service is good. Large full operation bar. Private room available. Very busy lunch time. Top Vegas people regularly. Food was very good and quick.

Excellent waiter!!!

By r-from-w2 |

Dinner was great, pot roast, but what was most stellar was how our waiter handled the pompous jerk down the bar from me. Mo at the bar was such a professional, never let the guys obnoxious requests throw him. Thank you, Mo.

Pleasant Find - Delicious Meal

We were pleasantly when we dined at Triple George Grill. The lunch special was excellent with several choices. A great meal and we were pleasantly surprised.

Great Food and Service!

By Patrick O |

We ate lunch here and it was outstanding. Very nice atmosphere and the food was excellent. Good beer selection from The Chicago Brewing Company. Great Ahi Tuna appetizer. I had the haddock special and it was wonderful. My wife had a pasta dish that was outstanding. This is a classic restaurant near The Fremont Experience and The Grand Hotel. Great service and food!

Beautiful ! Classy and authentic

Beautiful ! Exceptional staff and service. Top shelf for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is classic old Vegas with class and charm.

Triple George is still getting it done after all these years

By orange-u-tall |

I hadn't been into Triple George in a while, and I recently revisited the establishment to see if they had maintained their standards of quality. Fittingly enough, they had done so and with some new interesting twists. While I was tempted to get a traditional higher end fare, I opted for the $29 Chicken Pot Pie. I had never seen a chicken pot pie get that much respect on a menu, so I had to see what all the fuss was about. It is both enormous and amazing, and I must admit that I obnoxiously finished the gargantuan meal. I had little room left for much else, but we did share a salad for a starter.

Triple Delight

By Dstaebell |

Location, Service, Food!!! Excllent spot when down on Fremont. We have made this trip several times and have worked dinner @TG each time. Just a block off Fremont, outdoor dining is very nice. Service is very special with long time employees who we recognize time and time again. Tribute to management and owners. They are very good at making the experience delightful. Lastly Food.... this trip we both had steaks and shared a bowl of the clam chowder. The chowder was delectable and full of classic and flavor. The steaks (filet and flatiron) were seasoned and cooked to perfection. With a side of mash potatoes to top it off. Wonderful evening... please take this place in when looking for dinner options downtown.

Golf group

By boomerc |

Large group of us ate here after spending a little time on Freemont street. Clean, very traditional steakhouse. Think dark mahogany walls and white tablecloths. Rather romantic. Everything here was tasty and fresh. The staff were courteous (except the host who seemed annoyed). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I didn't find anything exceptional.

Enjoyable food, atmosphere, and staff

By Nathan V |

We had made a reservation, and were seated promptly in a nice private booth. Our waitress provided very good service. I had a good rib eye steak and old fashioned, and my wife enjoyed her salad and chicken parm.

Cool Vibe, Authentic Steak House.

By Charles S |

This is a high end Chicago/New York City style steakhouse and a Las Vegas downtown staple for a number of years now. The decor is masculine with lots of wood tones. As soon as you enter you see a large and cool looking bar. It’s an inviting look and a good indication that you’re about to enjoy a great drink and an ample and perfectly prepared meal. As an interesting aside, when the restaurant first opened, it was a favorite of Oscar Goodman - former mayor and mob attorney. That about says it all. Oscar now has his own steakhouse. My wife and I eat here whenever we’re in town. It’s a little pricy but a great experience and a good value for what you get. It’s located across the street from the Downtown Grand. If you’re a carnivore don’t hesitate - go and enjoy!

Changes

By Jon P |

I was a frequent visitor of the George for many years. I'd say that it seems to be new management and possibly a new chef. The prices have gone up quite a bit, but I'm this economy that's acceptable. What they have changed is from a signature menu to a fairly mediocre one. Also the quality is off just enough to make me pass next time. The portion was decent and generous but again not at a high level. I hope they relook at things otherwise they won't hold the local niche. Service was excellent. They need to be looking at exemplary not just putting out an okay meal. You can get that anywhere in Vegas.

delicious dinner!

By lindas286 |

What a great little find down near Freemont Street. The walk over was a little sketchy. But our dinner was amazing! Delicious food, attentive staff. intimate private booth. really nice!

The price is very expensive for this place.

By PATRICIA C |

They immediately offered to me and to my husband a special menu which included 2 Caesar salads, 1 steak, a side dish and 2 cheesecakes. We paid $175.00 plus taxes just for this special menu. The price is very expensive for this restaurant. We were simply deceived. Our check was $ 211.00 with drinks. 1 cup of vine and 1 soda.

GREAT FIND!

By MSV |

We found Triple George by accident after walking around Fremont Street. What a great find! The staff is wonderful & the chef obviously knows what goes into a great meal. The restaurant is part of the Downtown Grand Hotel, but has its own site on the street. The AC really works, so you may want to wear a sweater. We'll be back.

Not as good as we remembered

By Ang G |

We last ate here 3 years ago and liked the food, so on our recent trip to Vegas we booked a table for our last evening meal. Staff were welcoming, and we had a nice side table in the bar area. We were given free fresh bread which was a nice touch to start. I had the spaghetti & meatballs (3 large turkey meatballs, quite a thin sauce) but I found them a little too herby and the food was lukewarm. My husband said his burger was OK but nothing special. He had to pay $12 for a side of wedge fries as he wasn't allowed to substitute the thin fries that came with the dish. The wedge fries tasted really good though. Service was good and we weren't rushed at all, but we left feeling disappointed that our food wasn't as memorable as our last visit. Next time we come I'll have the chicken pot pie like I did last time!

Staff was rude. Nice outdoor seating. Slow service

By Jacquelyn C |

The one dish of Shrimp and scallops stated a cream creole sauce. It was like oil instead. The other dish of shrimp over a noodles the noodles were not done, gummy. Lamb chops and creamed spinach was wonderful. Pot Pie was average but the mac and lobster wonderful. Tried the Black Cherry Lemon Drop was out of this world. Staff did offer us dessert and a drink for free to compensate but we turned it down. The owner I think said he stood by his dishes and would not discount anything as we could have sent it back.

Pandemic fatigue

By Saultheball |

While the service remains great and the old fashioned ambiance brings back memories of the steak house at the Sahara when Sinatra used to come in the food is something else. First of all, the two signature items, the baked goat cheese appetizer and the porcini crusted rib eye have been dropped from the menu. Our server, Becky, did not know why but also disapproved. The wedge salad was overdressed. The bland filet migon for &50 hash to be drenched in wine sauce to be edible which was an extra $4. The short rib was served in an oddly shaped bowl so that you had to almost stand up to eat it. The owners should wake up and realize that travelers from strip hotels can stay where they are and get ripped off without getting in a cab. No way is this place now worth the trip especially with the signature dishes gone.

Very poor customer service

By Janet D |

To start off, I want to say I have been simmering on this review all week and wasn't sure if I was going to post anything at all, but after speaking with fellow industry peeps, I decided to say what needs to be said... I was taking a week long vacation to Las Vegas from the east coast. Having my 2 best girl friends flying in from different spots to meet up . We really wanted to go have a nice upscale steak dinner before leaving back home. We decided on triple George's... We were greeted promptly and was told there was only patio seating available, so we were ok with that. Once sat, Mohammad introduced him self as our server for the evening and took our cocktail order. He was detailed oriented at 1st, and up sold a dinner for 2 to the couple that was in our party. A 28 oz bone in steak with lobster tail with asparagus and mash potatoes. I got the truffle risotto and a side of charred brussel sprouts and my other friend ordered a medium rare 10 oz. filet with a baked potato and side caesar salad. Everything was going fine until our food arrived... my brussel sprouts did not come out with the meal, and the couple that ordered the meal for 2 didn't get there mash potatoes, and my friends 10 oz filet was under cooked... ok, so... easy fix, they cooked up the filet and brought out my missing side of brussel sprouts...still never got the missing side of mash potatoes...? they didn't want to complain, so they didnt say anything... After we were done with our meal, we sat there for about 15 -20 minutes with out anyone checking on us. Our server was no where to be found. ( I'm assuming he got into the weeds and was unable to come back out on the patio?) I finally flagged down another server and asked him for our check and wanted to speak to a manager on duty. Another 5- 10 minutes goes by with no one coming out. My friends were fuming by this time and was seriously ready to just walk out... I told them to be patient and lets talk with the manager to get this all squared away. Finally, the GM named Richard, comes out to speak with us. I told him exactly what had happened and that I understood because I am a server and bartender myself, (going on 17+ years in the industry). Before I could even get the end of my sentence, he swiftly cuts me off and rudely says " well, I have never had ANY complaints about the food , so you are the 1st, and I don't know what to tell you" .... and then i said well our server took some time coming to check on us and I actually timed him. The server Mo, was standing behind him saying " she is lying!!" .... my jaw hit the floor... I have worked in fine dining before and NEVER I have I EVER have been so insulted in my life!! The manager obviously could of cared less about our issues, and it was also obvious that our server couldn't own up to his mistakes... We left VERY upset, and wished we had stuck with our original steak house choice Gordon Ramsay Steak house. I will never return again, nor will I tell any friends, family or future vacationers to come to your establishment.

Great Vegas experience

By Anna M |

The service was impeccable! I wish I remember the name of our waiter. And the portions were huge! My husband had the creamy shrimp pasta and it was delicious. My white wine clams linguine was just so-so. At any rate, we were satisfied!

Great LV downtown restaurant!

By JudgeSue |

For some unknown reason, I hadn’t been to Triple George for some time. I took my staff there for lunch to celebrate a retirement. The service was great and the food outstanding. I and another had the Italian chopped.salad, others had the Patty Melt which was huge. This restaurant is walking distance from Fremont Street and my office and has the Las Vegas vibe with numerous pictures of celebrities and those well known locally. I will need to frequent this restaurant more often!

Just a joke of a restaurant

By Trip Disaster AZ |

I want to 1st say that I never complain about service and instead I usually won’t return to business. And no alcohol was consumed before visit.... What a huge disappointment. We visited on Tuesday May 04, 2021 at 5:45 PM. I was so embarrassed for myself and the restaurant itself. I believe in supporting small businesses and this was a huge mistake. I didn’t want to go to the casino where I think small business need it most. So I went to Triple George Grill to take a good friend to a nice dinner for her birthday. Wow what a mistake.... This is how our visit went. Waitress comes to table and asks for drink and order right when we sat down. Asked her to give us a few minutes to look at the menu. She came back and we gave her our order. A few minutes later the young man brought bread and butter to table along with water. Then the drinks came and all good. Then it all goes to hell in a hand basket. Our dinner salad that we ordered to have split came and no extra plate. Had to ask for one. After salad our plates sat at the end of the table with no attention. Our steak orders came and baked potatoes came with only sour cream. Asked the young man for butter to add to the potatoes. The steaks were ice cold and no server was seen for 25 minutes. No butter came to table even asking for it. We had to use the left over butter that came with the bread. (SAD) ran out off cocktails and water with no visit from anyone to order another cocktail/ water or to say our steaks were cold and no butter for potatoes. So we ate the cold steak and dry potato with huge disappointment. Later server came to table and asked how our meal was. I told her I was embarrassed paying over $200.00 for the cold dinner and with no service. We wanted more drinks while we were eating but that never happened. The server seemed bothered by my comment and surprised. Wow... Surprised!!. She sent to the manager after I asked her not to send. The manager seemed like she hates her job because her answer was “WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME” WOW!!! Maybe do your job and take care of the problem instead putting it on your customers. After telling her our experience you would think she would make a decision in her head and make it right. No instead saying ( WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO???) I said don’t bother and get me the bill. I paid the bill and left. I’m so embarrassed for Triple George Grill the staff and Myself for them taking my money and basically making me feel like I was the problem. I get better respect and service from places like Denny’s, IHOP or any coffee shop and don’t need to pay $200.00 for it.

Deliciously prepared food & great service

Deliciously prepared food, attentive, over the top service! If you’re looking for a fancier dinner downtown, it’s here. We will be back!

LOCAL FAVORITE FOR SEVERAL REASONS

By Elena M |

LOCAL DOING REVIEW: Love coming to Triple George for drinks and dinner. Everything is top notch: Drinks, food, service, ambiance. Not priced like an Applebee's, but you get so much more for your money! Usually park at the Grand, half a block away, and the restaurant validates. Give yourself time to relax and enjoy your meal. Had the best french onion soup, beautiful crust on top, SHOUT OUT to Todd and Marta, brilliant bartenders, and Rebecca, brilliant waitress!

$7 Happy Hour bottle of Coors Light?

By SalfromIL |

We've headed here for Happy Hour for many years and the main reason is the delicious food. But when we stopped in on a Wednesday, we were a little shocked. I had a domestic beer - which to them means Light beers. My Coors Light bottle was $2 off and was still $7! Come on, that's just gouging. We shared 2 app.s. The octopus was $12 during Happy Hour and there was a 4" portion. It was great but way overpriced. Our second app was their calamari. Average at best and again $12. Sorry but we're taking a pass from now on.

Great atmosphere and service!

By GSRDPM |

My wife and I came here for dinner and enjoyed a quiet dinner in a beautiful secluded booth that was great for social distancing during the COVID pandemic. Reasonable prices for the atmosphere too.

Lunch Special $20 - WINNER

By sunshinebob |

Popped in for lunch and picked up the special $20 menu (M-F 11am to 3pm) and enjoyed an amazing soup followed by a BLT and fries. Proper service , great food , napkins , bread and water sets this "cheap" lunch apart from many. It's a double thumbs up from me.

My First Visit and My Instant New Favorite!

By Echelon |

I've spent far too much time on the Strip over the years and decided to deliberately spend more time downtown. I found Triple George Grill after looking for a good steak. As a solo traveler, I sat at the ample-sized bar and started with a Black Cherry Lemon Drop, which turned out to be their signature cocktail. Wow. So smooth and tasty, I had two. I generally don't eat bread, but their sourdough loaf and garlic butter was really a pleasant surprise. Onto the main course, I ordered a petite fillet with a side of grilled shrimp. Both were perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better dinner. I was wavering on dessert, but took the Creme Brulee recommendation and that truly topped off an amazing dinner. I've had many Creme Brulees over the years, but this one was particularly memorable. I found my new favorite dinner spot downtown.

A great place to celebrate any occasion

By dcain4uga |

We were celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary and also my 60th birthday. When we got to our table there were 2 cards signed by everyone that was working there. The food was delicious. Enjoyed dessert on the house too. The cocktails during happy hour were outstanding. It's a great place with a friendly staff and great ambiance.

Quality Steakhouse

By GeorgeMarina |

Very good traditional steakhouse. Quality steaks & good appetizers. Downtown Vegas location, 1 .5 block from Fremont Experience Street. Lively & fun area. We all had the 10oz Filet & they were cooked perfect, exactly as ordered. The sides of grilled asparagus & mashed potato were very good.

Dissatisfied

By Mr Dan Man |

I ate here on my own, after a recommendation. The service was slow and has to wait 10 minutes to request a drink. I ordered crab cakes, which should be labelled crab cake. There was one and it was flat. It tasted nice enough and no complaints. For main I ordered lamb chops. I specifically asked if this was a chop or cutlet and was assured it was a chop as per the menu. It wasn't, it was a cutlet and it arrived over cooked. A side of Brussels Sprouts arrived which had balsamic glaze all over it 🤷 Why, it wasn't mentioned on the menu it was going to come covered. I also ordered truffle fries which were horrid. Dry, chewy and tasted like cardboard. Fortunately these were removed from the final bill. In all is wasn't a great meal, most of the food was tasty but the menu doesn't explain what is actually going to be served. I left feeling very dissatisfied for such a high priced menu.

More intimate dining experience

By MirEnright |

More intimate dining opportunity with good service and high quality food menu of choices. You definitely pay more but worth it if you want a more fine dining experience. Quick tip is have a pre dinner drink at bar during happy hour
