We went with 4 friends to Tripoli's and were very pleasantly surprised by the nice atmosphere and good service. We all ordered a different menu item and everyone loved their food. The food was very good and the quantity was very good. The coffee shop area is very cute and appealing. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

Very pricy for what you get! I spent twelve bucks on a chickpea salad with Tunisian Chicken added, and it was cereal bowl sized — definitely more of a side salad than a meal. We had a Tabbouleh salad as well but unfortunately it was about 95% parsley and arugula with a few diced tomatoes and maybe a teaspoon of bulgur sprinkled on top. Not what I expected and certainly not worth the high price tag.

This place is the best. The food is great. Service was excellent! Ordered again take out two days later. Not many choices in the area for good sit down food so this place is a treasure!

A good friend of mine suggested this place to try near her work. I am hooked! I will be taking hubs there very soon. We have been looking for a decent Mediterranean place. We had the hummus sampler, little pizza, and dessert. The staff phenomenal! The chef came out and spoke with us to check on how the food was. We will return.

Great food and the staff is super friendly. The Turkish coffee and coffee selections were to die for. You have not lived until you’ve had their coffee. Would have liked to sample the desserts but I was too full from the wonderful shwarma rice bowl.

Was told that this was a very good place by some friends. They weren't wrong. They only had one waitress but she was covering the place very well. It did make it a little slow but she was doing a great job. The food was amazing. Probably the best in San Antonio. In my opinion. I had the lamb kebab plate. My wife and daughter had the Gyro. We also had the Baklava. All portions were really good for the money. I would highly recommend this place.

Went during work lunch hour. We were seated immediately and our drink and appetizer order was taken within a minute of being seated. Server was attentive. Appetizer arrived quickly. Our entree was served just as we finished our appetizer. Everything was wonderful, especially enjoyed the chicken tikka calzone - chicken was flavorful, a little spicy, calzone was actually light and delicious.

Such great, personable service and fresh, delicious food! Easily accessible from Lackland AFB. Good deal for family dining. The portions are filling while the prices are reasonable.

This restaurant is located right outside the main gate of Lackland AFB. I go here about once a week with coworkers. The service here is terrible- you can't get refills, it takes a long time to order, etc. However, I keep going back because the food is just so, so good. The rice bowls are the best things on the menu. I recommend either the lamb kabob or chicken shwarma rice bowls. You can't go wrong! If you want some authentic tasting Middle Eastern food, try this place out!

Not a fancy over the top place. A nice open kitchen atmosphere. Great food, great service. The Greek salad was ice cold and delicious and the lamb kebab was cooked perfectly on a grilled Pita.

Called in an order when I arrived and paid for my order I was told that my order was not printed... one hour later still no food😑

An unexpected rare find ! ..... Great food ! Got the Protein Bowl with chicken Very Good. Highly Recommend! Great service ...!!! Everything you deserve in a restaurant Parking is ...well get there early

Went once and service was quick, food was excellent. Returned again a week later. Service was HORRIBLE, my order was wrong and they still charged me full price even though I was unable to eat it. I did not have time to have it corrected as it had already taken too long to get and I had to get back to work. I would not recommend based on the second visit

Great people, great food. We had the Taste of Mediterranean and a Protein Bowl. We shared among the three since we are not big eaters and it was plenty. The Persian tea with honey was a good beginner but we finished with their mint lemonade. I highly recommend. Very busy at lunch yet still fast.

Great food, decent prices and very nice service. This is a small family owned restaurant just outside of Lackland AFB that serves middle eastern fare. Very nice staff, great food and decent prices.

I was "TDY" to Lackland AFB and happened to have a lunchtime meal at this restaurant -- on recommendation from several "locals". The ambiance seemed promising once we entered, so the hope was for a great, authentic meal! Having come from Turkey, I guess my expectations were a tad too high. I did not have the lunch buffet (others in our party did), but I ordered from the menu. Being vegetarian, I thought I would not go wrong with the Falafel and side Greek salad and baklava for dessert. The salad was wonderful -- the falafel another story. Not only were the chickpea patties as hard as bacci balls, but the lettuce/tomato/sauce was barely there. The whole thing was just too dry. As for the dessert, I was highly disappointed in the baklava. The bottom layers were all stuck together like soggy cardboard, not the expected flaky layers. The filling was OK -- did not seem to be nut filled -- and the top layers were an attempt to be "flaky". I would not order either of these items again, nor would I recommend that anyone else attempt to make them apart of their meal choices.

Very clean location. My first mediterranian experience for the win! I had the veggie bowl which sat so light and comfortable in my belly.

The restaurant itself is nice and I was greeted promptly so expected the food to be good too. I ordered the beef shawarma. It looked more like a microwave dinner then something made to order. There was no pride in this dish. Maybe I caught them on an off night but I will definitely not go back. Sad thing is my family eat at a nearby restaurant while I waited for my food. By the time I met them at the other restaurant I regretted not ordering with them. I had a few bites and threw out the food. What a waste.

First the waitstaff was excellent with friendly suggestions on what to order, I had the rice bowl with the hummus which was a great combination. I will be visiting this establishment again.

Wowee-WOW!! What a treat this visit was. We wanted some Mediterranean comfort food. We saw this restaurant had burgers and wings in a Google search. We thought, “ok we’ll have burgers and wings.” We shouldn’t have limited ourselves. We ordered a Libyan Burger and beef kebab. And oh lawd our taste buds danced. The harissa and garlic aioli on the burger was perfect as were the potatoes. The aromatics in the kebab reminded us of Greece, relying more on herbs and scents than fats and salt. The kebab was tender and juicy. We had to have dessert. While perusing the dessert case, we met Hoida, possibly she was the owner? We spoke about kunafa and her baklava and mousse offerings. She offered to make us HER version of kunafa. It was scented with rose water and was simply divine. We ate the whole thing. Truly we can recommend Tripoli’s with zero reservation. The food was authentic and sooo tasty. The desserts reminded us of home. 10 stars!!! We will definitely be back.
Delicious Food!
We decided to mix things up a bit and try out a new restaurant; we chose Tripoli's and were not disappointed. When we visited it wasn't too crowded so it didn't take much time at all to get our orders taken and food delivered. The food was very flavorful and good -- we'll definitely return again.
