Good food Good beer Nice waitress There was a band playing outside There were no foodtruck when we were there... Nice toilets👌🏼😎😍

Visited one night during a recent convention visit. Good drinks and good vibe and can imagine it would be even busier during warmer weather. Mostly open air and outdoors. Bar was large and good selection of drinks.

Have gone to Truck yard often as a night out. The drinks are great, service is typically fast and I really like the food truck options that they have on site for when you inevitably get hungry.

You need to vo the four the ambiance. There is a nice selection of beers that you get served at the table by a friendly waitress. You are literally sitting in the back of a truck. At the side of the yard, you can order different styles of food from several food trucks. This is self service. Don't expect great quality food but good for a bite with the beer.

Excellent outdoor patio, live music when the weather is favorable and that ferris wheel in the pictures? It works and you can ride it for 3 min/ $10. The ferris wheel ride comes with the house specialty drink (or a soda). Fun place to hang out with friends. Went here for a bday, and was not disappointed. The food trucks weren't there in January, so we relied on the kitchen which only makes cheesesteaks. I thought I wouldn't like the cheesesteak because they're typically greasy, but this one I liked. I rarely go back to bars --too many choices in Houston--but will return to Truck Yard and bring out of town guests.

My wife and I went the other day and we loved it. There is a large outdoor sitting area where they have a bar and live music, in addition to the indoor sitting area where the restaurant is at. Besides the restaurant, they also have food trucks, which is what we ate. We had a bite to eat, I drank some beers while watching the Astros game, and we were able to enjoy live music. This is a great place to hangout!

A really interesting place to visit. Some very cool things in here to see including old vehicles, etc. There are games to play as well for adults and kids. Overall a cool place to go if you have kids or a family and they can go play while you enjoy a drink with the adults. Very casual.

My sister-in-law and I just visited The Truck Yard this weekend. We had a blast! It is a very fun and laid-back atmosphere. There were three available food trucks to choose dinner from or you could get a cheese steak (they serve these daily). We chose the cheesesteak and it was delicious. The beer was cold, the food was great, and the band was really good. We especially loved the open-air atmosphere and casual tone. We will definitely return if we are in Houston again.

My new favorite Eado spot when I'm in the mood for a fun, funky, lively time with good drinks and food. Has a full bar, food trucks, live music, and a carousel. Try the Texas Mule (phenomenal) from the bar and the steak street tacos from the street taco food truck. There are multiple types of seating- inside, outside, covered, and open. It's also in a great area for hopping around to multiple spots, like 8th Wonder Brewery, True Anamoly Brewery, and Rodeo Goat. We went to all 4, and it made for a really fun night.

Very cool place. Great set up, real rustic and the food is awesome. I had the Brisket quesadillas and soft drink. No complaints. It has a cool vibe and really relaxed. Staff are great and friendly. Well worth the visit for a meal.

I love the eclectic atmosphere of this place! Great beer and live music was fantastic and added a fun evening to our stay in Houston. We would absolutely revisit this place if we come back to the city. To the person that wrote a negative review about the pregnant man that was on the bathroom door for guys, have you never seen a beer belly? 😂

The Truck Yard is a great place to go with friends or colleagues to meet up or catch up. The atmosphere is wonderful and the decor is very cool. I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and some family!!! The drinks are great. They have a selection of normal drinks and beers you would find at any old restaurant as well as unique brews and creative drinks like their Mother Trucker.

Went for a casual weekend outing. Love the decor in this place!! The drinks were great as well. I had the frose' and it was delicious!

Great place , the philly cheese steaks are a little expensive. I got the steak and chicken and it tasted great. Good location and great vibes.

Loved the eclectic decor of this brewery. Since we had dinner plans already and were running the half marathon the next day, we were not able to stop in for a drink. However I would love to come back and experience this place. Some of the seating is made from all car parts. Another draw for me was the ping pong table. Looks like a great place to eat and drink with friends.

No matter who you are, if you want to enjoy a good drink, some food, and a lot of fun, you'll want to head to Truck Yard. If you're not from H-Town, it's a good glimpse of a lot of the fun we have had here. There is an upper balcony like area for talking, and lots of different spots to just sit and relax; folding lawn chairs ready for you, are so inviting. No matter what your intent for the day, to end it relaxed, or start it with a smile, start it at Truck Yard!

Super relaxed place, trendy fixtures and features, friendly staff serving, good beers and life music what else can you wish for ? Every day different kind of food trucks enter the place, so i'm told so every visit it is a surprise what is on the menu. They have a small ferris wheel, many tables benches or the back of a truck to sit down. Both in and outside seating available, good place to visit prior or after going to one of the games.

This was a great place to spend a relaxed afternoon with friends. There didn't seem to be any food trucks whilst we were there, but we did get cheese steaks from the restaurant inside. Most importantly, there was live music and it was easy to get a drink!

We love this place until we saw the “man” on the bathroom doors pretending to be pregnant. What he heck?? We won’t be back!

Came to Truck Yard today to pregame the Texas Bowl and it did not disappoint. Great selection of beers. Cheesesteak was on point. Also had 3 rotating food trucks. Today was Gourmet Grilled Cheese, it was good as the wife had 3 little pigs grilled cheese (pulled pork, smoked ham, and bacon) and it was great. Other trucks were wood fired pizza and a burrito joint that smelled awesome. Plenty of seating, live music on nights during the weekend, cornhole, and ping pong, as well as a karaoke container. Great place and is a block away from 8th Wonder Brewery and Distillery.

Fun twist that makes it more exciting than a normal bar! Highly recommend. Reasonable pricing and a unique atmosphere.

Went to the Truck Yard, with a group of family members. This place is a really cool concept, makes you feel like you are hanging out at a county fair, while drinking in the back of your friends pickup truck. This place is a good choice for all ages of adults. Plenty of room 2 walk around and socialize, there are food trucks if you want to grab a bite to eat.

Found this place and this neighborhood by accident. Came in and had a few meals from the food trucks. Very good. Large selection of beers. Staff is really nice, and the people look like they were having fun. There was a musician on stage, but he sounded like someone was strangling a cat. Speaking of pets, bring your dog! It’s a great place to spend a hot and humid afternoon in Houston.

Great outdoor venue with food trucks and the most fantastic crawfish. Live music on weekends. Just a fun, great place to hang out and enjoy the great spring weather.

Truck Yard is a primitive industrial space which has been turned into an outdoor beer and food venue. I suppose it has niche appeal, which is to say that no one would call in classy. Not that anyone there seemed to mind. Families were kicking back in the sun at wooded trestle tables with umbrellas or at round metal tables with metal chairs right on the bare ground with some stones for traction. It was rather like a bar at a low grade outdoor music festival with a singer grinding out her tunes to an audience only lightly listening. Food is supplied from three food trucks _ Brazilian, hotdogs and waffles – with a steal and cheese bar next to one of the two bars. Some one was also cooking up crawfish. So pretty heavy on the fried food side. I had some gaucho fries from the Brazilian truck which were standard French fries with diced sausage and chipotle sauce sprinkled with spring onions and parmesan. Nice enough, but it would have been better if the fries had started out hot. It’s a rough and ready kind of place. High fashion clothes are definitely out of place, but it is part of a chain of bars and eateries along St Emanuel Street which are attracting a lot of casually dressed business.

This is OUR favorite spot in Houston, hands down. They have great beer, incredible ambiance, lots of food trucks plus their own delicious cheese steaks, and the decor is like no other. If you are from out of town or need a new place to hang out with friends, I HIGHLY suggest it. Read more about it and our other MUST DO's in Houston in our blog @ Kasventures.org
Cool place!
Visiting Houston from the UK and found this place by chance when looking at nearby breweries. Such a cool and quirky place - so colourful and fun! Lots of different seating options inside and out. Good selection of drinks at the bar and service friendly. Had some tacos from the food truck - absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Houston!
