Cauliflower polenta bowl

By sarivergirl |

This place is a little pricey ... but they put together some interesting combinations, servers are well trained, and the facility is very inviting. We have been to the one in Austin and this one is just as nice. I had a big glass of cold rose and really enjoyed having lunch here.

The food was excellent and

By Geneva P |

The food was excellent and a very healthy option . I enjoyed the butternut squash soup and the basil tea infused with honey and ginger. The server , Yordanos, was knowledgeable and very helpful with the menu selections.

Good!

By KitaTravels |

1st VISIT: I thought True Food Kitchen had good service and a lively atmosphere. The food, drink, and dessert menus offered variety. Based on my experience True Food Kitchen met my expectations in terms of service and quality of ingredients. However, I was not impressed by two of my dishes. The flavor of the shitake and tofu lettuce cups appetizer was overwhelmed by soy sauce in the dish. The teriyaki brown rice bowl was not flavorful. Overall, the flavor of my food was slightly bland. However, the ingredients were clearly fresh. 2nd VISIT: I was invited to dinner at True Food Kitchen tonight and I'm so glad I gave it a second try. This visit was a tremendous improvement over my first visit. Each dish that I tried was bursting worth flavor and freshness. My main entree, the sea bass dish, was excellent. In fact, all 3 courses were truly fantastic. We had kale and avocado dip (appetizer), sea bass (entree), Moroccan half chicken (entree), lemon tart (dessert), honey ginger beer, and two cocktails at the bar. What a treat. Thank you True Food Kitchen for making me a believer :-)

Healthy creative menu in a very original concept

By Louis D |

It was a pleasantly surprising lunch experience. Innovative non alcoholic beverages offered which were very refreshing and thirst quenching. Organic and tasty offering of dishes. Very attentive staff. The restaurant is popular and quite busy but was fortunate only to have a 15 minute wait for a table. Conveniently located in an upscale mall that has plenty of parking!

Fresh - Fresher

By Michael G |

True Food is a hit in my book. The venue is open, clean and comfortable. Food is freshly made and delicious. Enjoyed the season salad with brussel sprouts, light and tasty. Had the poke bowl as an entree. Two wonderful choices.

Sunday Brunch

By Diane C G |

Brunch with the family was pleasant on the patio. Everything was good, tried the grass fed burger, with the sweet potato hash (cooked to softness this time, sometimes they are still hard) and a banana date smoothie. All was delicious. Tasted my grandbabies banana pancakes they were good, and tried a sip of my daughters Kale smoothie (okay, but the kale was a little strong) not as sweet as mine. This place is great for a family gathering or just a healthy place to eat anytime.

OMG

By jo m |

This may well be my new favourite restaurant. Our meal tonight was outstanding, the charred cauliflower, farmers market crudités, shiitake lettuce cups and kale guacamole were incredible, the flavours and textures are outstanding. The service was great, great ambiance...loved it all. Can't wait to go back. Well done people.

Mid Day Lunch

By PYT1984 |

Big spacious location in Lenox Square Mall in the heart of ATL. Great service and vegetarian menu options. Place was packed but I was seated within 15 minutes. I had the Mediterranean Quinoa salad and the Antioxidant tea for lunch. Super tasty, filling and healthy. My waitress was friendly and attentive as well. Would definitely go back and recommend.

Eat Healthy - Stay Healthy - Stay Happy.

By jamessK7433OS |

This restaurant has an extensive menu consisting of an abundance of vegetables, fruits, meats, poultry and seafood. As a starter my wife and I selected a non-alcoholic drink named Kale Aid which consisted of ginger, apple, celery. cucumber and lemon. It was refreshing. As a salad we ordered the Mediterranean salad and as an entre the Grilled Salmon. The portions are huge. We shared one portion of each. Most of the meals are coded with v for Vegan, veg for Vegetarian and with gf for Gluten Free. They are pricey but they are worthy.

Great place for healthy fare

By Pm480 |

Great place in the Lenox Square shopping development close to the Marriott Fantastic selection of healthy selections with lots of GF and vegetarian options. Cocktails may not be as healthy but still delicious, and a little cheating is ok.

healthy but really yummy food- nice open spaces for the Covid Careful as well

By Pepper |

This became our go to lunch place while staying at the Whitely. Loved their Watermelon and tomato salad and brussels sprouts and the shrimp plate was excellent. My friend had a skinny Margarita that she really enjoyed. She also had the chicken and sausage pizza which was very good- I had a piece of it and think I will order that nexttime. They had outdoor dining but it was so hot we liked it indoors where they had great table spacing.

Amazing food!

By Zara P |

This was fantastic! Took my mom vegan friends here and they loved it! We ordered the inside out burger, the teriyaki bowl, pizza and then the flourless chocolate cake. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Pricey but delicious

By LangStonR |

This restaurant is connected to Lenox mall so parking can be an issue depending on when you go. We went right before Christmas so it was a nightmare. However the food made up for that. It's a very vegan friendly chain with a focus on organic foods. The menu might leave you with a bit of sticker shock. For 3 people I paid $90 not including a tip. With that being said everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Proudly serving the best food they can, claiming not to use the seed oils

By podrozniczka60 |

This is a great chain restaurant proudly serving the best food, avoiding hormones, antibiotics, artificial additives and unnecessary chemicals. The food is always tasty and their drinks often organic or prebiotic. The presentation is also nice. We enjoyed our meal today. The grassfed burgers were delicious! The shrimp appetizer tasted great. We had mineral water and their wine of the month. We will be back.

Best place for deliciously tasty yet also healthy food

By Jake C |

Great ambience and feel in the restaurant, with a beautiful covered patio and large interior to choose from. The service was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. I loved the market salad, ancient grains bowl, and butternut squash pie. Great experience and can’t wait to be back

not a Vegan

By mlesser1 |

This isn't a vegan or vegetarian restaurant. Just a place that cares about good food, tells you up front what the calories are for the dish and whether it is vegan or gluten free... I've been 5 times in the past three months and have had great food and service each time. I highly recommend but make a reservation.

Great food and better service

By bhlraven1916 |

Great healthy food choices to select from. Plenty of parking. No reservation needed. Very affordable. No military discount. Excellent service. I recommend this restaurant for quality of food and service.

Symphony of Flavors

By L D |

I think of a symphony of flavor and the open kitchen makes it a show! The show started with Charred Cauliflower and then the Moroccan Chicken. Talk about a melody of delicious. To close out the orchestra of flavor, had the flourless chocolate cake, I mean encore encore! Great location for groups, couples or solo diners.

Good healthy eats

By wooski |

Been only to Scottsdale one but this one didn’t disappoint. Very busy even for a late lunch. We walked around Lenox Mall for about 30 minutes before they texted us that our table was ready. Food was great as was the service.

Delicious food

By Priya B. |

I ate here for the first time a couple days ago. My friend ordered the hummus with pita, which was very tasty. I ordered the cauliflower polenta with squash, asparagus and edamame. It was delicious and very well seasoned. I wish there was a True Food Kitchen in Tampa. Being a strict vegetarian there were many options for me to chose from.

Healthy and Delicious

By Delphine J |

Love True Food, great menu, fresh squeezed juices, fresh veggies and interesting delicious food. Love the Ancient Grains bowl!

Fresh heathy dishes

By GinkgoClub |

A well choose selection of fresh heathy dishes prepared at the moment. The kitchen is open view, so I could even see preparing pizza dough and others frash juices. The palace was clean and welcoming. Nice interior design. Good warm service. Pizza was good, with thin crunchy crust, frash basil. I especially liked the corean ball with glass noodles.

Great meal

By Tamara M |

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at True Food Kitchen this past weekend. My husband had the flat bread margherita pizza and I had the squash casserole. I have had the squash casserole before and always love it, but the flat bread was a first for us and we really enjoyed it. We saved room for dessert and my husband had the chocolate cake which he loved and I had the chia pudding which was delicious. Our server was extremely nice and very attentive.

Bad food and service

By Hector Castellanos |

There's a very bad explanation of the "true" food they serve, they don't say it's a vegetarian or vegan food and bad service, with bad attitude

Organic gluten-free dairy free options

By Brittany |

My daughter has several food allergies, including dairy and gluten, and this restaurant easily accommodated us. I love that they use no seed oils, organic foods, and everything is fresh. They even have a sourdough pizza where the dough is made fresh daily. They carry no sodas, which is amazing they do lots of refreshers and great tasting drinks. I would give this place 10 out of 10. We left there with no upset stomach and no issues of belly pain for my daughter, which is a huge win in our book as she is very sensitive to foods. This place was about 25 minutes from the Georgia aquarium so next time we’re back in Georgia we will come back to this place. Thank you for caring about your customers and the quality of food that they’re eating!!!

Nice to have something healthy and different!

By Julie W |

We enjoyed our dinner here on a quick trip to Atlanta. We started with the edamame dump!ings and then had a vegan squash pizza and pad thai. The dumplings were in a broth and were light and yummy. My teenage daughter was lukewarm about her pad thai, but my vegan pizza was delicious! I like having dairy free options! We liked the atmosphere and it is in a really nice shopping center. We would definitely go back!

Healthy food with great taste

By Dominique D |

The food and portions here are perfect! Everything always taste fresh and taste healthy. Great service at this restaurant is also a bonus.

Delicious! And healthy

By Mohana R |

Loved sitting outdoors in this busy place that offers an extensive menu packed with healthy eating options in different cuisines. A great place to drop in for lunch or linger over dinner. It does get busy though so come by early.

Thank You True Foods

By N911CXsteve |

We love True Foods. Great to have an option that is healthy and affords options without soy, gluten, and sugar.

Too busy

By VGR001 |

We recently had lunch here and it was packed. We were seated at a high boy table near the end of the bar. All of the waiters used the space between our table as a cut thru to the cash register. It was very annoying and it made us feel like we were dining in the kitchen or something. The table next to us was seated and ordered after us, but served and left before we received our food (we had pita sandwiches, so it wasn’t due to our order). The food was good, but overshadowed by everything else.

The food was above average

By BethMorrison6 |

The food was above average but I found the menu to be quite limited. I get that it’s seasonal but it just wasn’t that appealing. The butternut squash soup was the highlight Of the evening .5!36 did have dividers in between seats for COVID protection. However when I unrolled my silverware it was dirty, that’s didn’t inspire much confidence.

Great food, great service!

By Andy |

My family loved this place! The food was terrific, everything was fresh and vibrant and delicious. We got the trio of dips and other than the hummus (which wasn’t bad just not amazing) they were quite tasty. I had the fish tacos and my wife got the grain bowl with fish, my son had a pizza and my daughter, well, she had to try several things before being satisfied, but she’s incredibly limited in her diet these days. :( Our server, Natalie I think, though was amazing about it, super kind and accommodating, made it much easier to deal with. All around a great experience for a casual dining experience.

Healthy, Fresh and Delicious

By Donna A |

We had reservations for an early dinner before a concert and have plans to go back in a few weeks. The food, atmosphere, and service were all great. Alex, our server, was very friendly and attentive. This was our first time there and we appreciated her helpful suggestions. I loved my ginger margarita and my husband was pleased with the Orchard bourbon sour. We split a kale salad and charred cauliflower. I had the Ancient Grains Bowl and my husband had Grass-fed Steak Tacos. All were outstanding. We finished off with Chia Seed Pudding, another great choice. We are looking forward to our next visit. There are a number of other dishes we'd like to try on the diverse menu. We're glad we have this fun option when are in the Lenox Mall area.

Excellent!!!!

By William S |

Vegan options that are so tasty. Service is excellent. Our server Natalie was soooo nice. Knew the menu. Make excellent recommendations. LOVE HER ❤️

Healthy brunch spot

By King_Lux |

On a Sunday morning or afternoon, this is a great, relatively healthy alternative, to most traditional brunch restaurants. This menu features a lot of sweet potatoes, quinoa, whole grains, vegetables, and more. It's usually very crowded for brunch so be sure you make reservation in advance. It's part of Lenox Square, so be sure you either allow plenty of time for parking or plan to pay at least $12 for valet. After eating, its location in the mall makes a great place to walk around for a while as well.

Food choices making feel good

By WindyandSun |

This is place is in the busy shopping mall which is convince for the shoppers. We went there for the dinner after the Christmas and we got a seat without waiting. Our waitress introduced us to the menu. It's seasonal and variety. Majority are vegetable and it fits our need at time. It's fresh and tastes good.

Food is good but portions have shrunk and prices have not

By RandiFayeC |

Have eaten here before and enjoyed the interesting and vegetarian friendly menu. This last visit was disappointing - the seasonal salad was primarily arugula (good ingredient but wanted some variety) and very small for the price. Watermelon and tomato salad was very good but they actually forgot to bring it - we had planned on that being a starter. Very covid clean and well spaced tables.

Great experience!

By myfriendbinny |

I was in town for a conference for three days and loved this restaurant so much, I came back each night! I was alone and ate at the bar. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was delicious! I was sad to leave because I will miss the interesting dishes they serve.

A great first impression

By DMJA21 |

We were staying in the Whitley right across the street from the Lenox Mall where True Food is located. We stopped in for a light lunch and were really impressed. The hummus and pomegranate limeade were especially good. We liked the atmosphere and the service was very congenial and attentive. The prices are a little high but offer great value.

didn’t enjoy.

By Alisha K |

shrimp was hard and overcooked, food was bland with no seasoning and margherita pizza didn’t even taste like margherita pizza at all, overcooked as well. only thing good there was the matcha, we only literally enjoyed our drinks and that was it.

By Laurence S |

WOW - WOW - WOW - WOW!! All aspects of the experience was a new high on the WOW factor. New #1 In my book.

Eating to Live and Loving it.

By Keke L |

I ordered the Miso Glazed Eggplant as a Starter and the Sunrise Bowl for my main course. Two Sunny Side up organic eggs, Curry Quinoa, sweet potatoes and Pesto. I did not enjoy the sauce thay comes with this dish. I would buy the meal again.

Really fresh, tasty food

By HolidaymakersS |

The food was excellent and they had loads of choices for vegetarians. It was all fresh and we didn’t have to wait too long either. Would definitely visit again, as the prices were really reasonable too.

Over priced Supermarket Wrap

By Nancy S |

I just met a friend for lunch. Service was excellent. We both ordered the grilled chicken wrap. It was listed in the entree portion of the menu. The other entrees, I presume, are all served warm The Wrap was ice cold. It tasted like it had been made earlier and then stored in the coldest section of the refrigerator. At $13.50 for a deli wrap, please make it fresh. At least put the tortilla on the grill. There's nothing worse than an ice cold tortilla. If I had wanted a cold wrap, I could have gone to any local market and taken one out of the cooler

EXCELLENT FOOD & SERVICE!

By Ashli H |

Laura was our server. She was so attentive, pleasant and well informed on the menu. Everything is so tasty & healthy! I ordered the Heirloom Watermelon & Tomato dish to eat and Kale-Aide to drink. The watermelon and tomatoes are served with basil, pistachio, over a yogurt. My drink was made with kale, ginger, cherries, cucumber, & celery. It was refreshing, actually Everything was delicious! The best time to come is brunch!!! ~Ashli H.❤❤❤

Ask for Darrin

By soldieroflite |

This was our first time going here. Darrin was a pleasure and took good care of us. We ordered the winter immunity bowl with steak and shared it. And ordered a fig and gorgonzola flatbread which was super tasty. The meal was very good.

Healthier Options. Great food!

By The Mighty Travelers |

True Food is exactly what it sounds like. Real food for people who want a healthier lifestyle. Don't get me wrong there's still a burger on the menu but most of the options are vegan or vegetarian. We had one of their fresh juices which was delicious. Kind of wish it was juiced directly in front of me though but that's ok. The margherita pizza was near perfect, the grass-fed burger was done just right and the cherry bourbon sour hit the spot. ;) Considering this is a healthier food option spot you would expect the prices to be higher but they're comparable to most restaurants of this level. Did I mention the Buckhead location is incredible and the openness to the space is so welcoming. Inside and outside sitting was also available. Overall we had a great time and look forward to going back and trying out other healthier choices!!!

Wonderfully Diverse Food, but Expensive Wines

By veggiegirl60 |

My husband, son and I went to Tru Food Kitchen for dinner. I love the healthy options that are available. I was, however, disappointed to pay $16.00 for a 9 oz pour of one of the cheaper wines on the menu. Our server was very friendly.

Good Wholesome Food

By jonathb5 |

This is a good opportunity to eat wholesome food that has high flavor and spice and is not dull. Had the ancient grains bowl, their most popular dish and banana chia pudding for desert. Terrific flavors with the kind of food you wish there was more of. A winner.

Not for a carnivore!

By dotters |

Gosh, I wish I liked vegetarian food more. I was hard pressed to find something that didn't contain something I'm not fond of. Daughter and I went for Sunday Brunch. The restaurant was definitely getting crowded (especially when we left after 1:30). Obviously, there are a lot of folks that like all this... Can't say that I do. Daughter was happy getting some sort of veggie burger or Mediterranean Quinoa salad or something I ended up with the Margarita Pizza. She ate her whole meal up. The side of sweet potatoes were fine. My pizza was so so. I might be showing my age, but I thought the whole place was very trendy. (All the staff had t shirts with one or two word 'earthy' slogans.) I get the concept, but I just felt like I wanted a piece of steak after I left (or a sugary dessert!) I know, I know... Maybe others will really go crazy for all this.

By free033108 |

loved the food made with healthy, delicious, fresh ingredients. I tried the lasagne bolognese and it did taste like bolognese but made with chicken

Everything was amazing!

By Alexis S |

Excellent lunch, great food and staff, overall wonderful experience! Will be retuning next to check out the brunch menu!

Healthy Delicious food

By Cheri L |

So great to find healthy food in a shopping mall! Delicious curry, refreshing drinks and friendly staff. Can't go wrong here.

Healthy Food

By mstphy |

Healthy food choices, but a bit pricey and small portions. Not a huge selection, but some vegan and vegetarian options. Trendy crowd. Attentive customer service.

Good food but could have been better with better service

By hiral h |

On our recent visit to Altanta, we stopped by true foods for lunch. The place was quite busy. First the server did not go through the entire table to ask for orders. I had to interrupt him and ask him to take my order. Later we wanted to order drinks and he did not seem happy to come and take the order. Luckily the food turned out to be nice and hence, the three stars in the review.

Yummy healthy goodness

By TakeItToGo |

Had a ancient grains bowl that was spectacular. Not too much but filling. Salads are huge and environment makes you feel like you’re in a spa so feel great eating healthy.

Lots of interesting/unusual dishes, modern space

By dgnagle4 |

The four of us very much enjoyed our dinner here. Interesting drinks though the bourbon selection is slim. Edamame dumplings were fine, roasted brussel sprouts tasty. Two enjoyed the Poke bowl, another liked his Fall Ingredient Salad with added shrimp. I had the Moroccan Chicken which was really good, nice mix of flavors, and served boneless. Fun, wide-open, high-ceilinged place. Check it out if you're at the Mall, or even if you're nearby and hungry.

Great, clean food...hard on the pocketbook.

By Laurie Ashley |

Wonderful, clean menu with many options. We had the charred cauliflower appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. It was a small portion for $9. Would order again despite being over-priced. Quinoa teriyaki bowl was a larger portion and was good. We added shrimp and they were prepared beautifully. Another in our party got the spaghetti squash casserole with shrimp and while it was good-it was a very small portion. My sister got one of the refreshers. She enjoyed it. I got the lavender blueberry martini and it was good, but for $13, rather weak. We would go again, honestly, but may eat some fruit before going so we wouldn’t leave hungry. Portions are just not large enough if you’re hungry. Be sure to order an appetizer, maybe two if you’re hungry. I’ve included the menus here.

Family Time together July 14, 2021

By lstrong2016 |

My family and I had a nice visit at "True Food" , located at the Lenox Mall in Atlanta, GA. thanks to Darren S. we ate, ate and ate. The team of "True Food" were also supportive. With all of the food arriving to our table some of the team members assisted Daren and the manager asked if everything was ok. The food serve was awesome. The taste make you feel wish you had your own chef from the "True Food" Kitchen. Darren thank you for a lovely time during our stay in Atlanta, GA.

Worst food I have had in a very long time.

By Susie C |

The worst food I have had in a long time. Pretty restaurant but absolutely no seasonings,no salt and pepper and dried out sweet potatoes…horrible and also pleasant but bad server.I came home and ate another lunch as the lunch at True was not eatable.

True disappointment

By Fittravelchick |

Up on my second visit to true food kitchen within a week of itself. First visit the service was slow the server was confused with the menu and my order which order straight from the menu. That debacle took over an hour during lunchtime. So the second visit was for a birthday dinner thinking OK since the food was decent I'll go back for the birthday dinner. This time was worse this service took forever although our server Michael was very pleasant and being as helpful and accommodating as he could. Now keep in mind there's only three of us for this birthday dinner. Somehow one of the dishes we ordered was burnt in the kitchen so they had to remake it. So again we wait longer only to be served a dish that they tried to disguise and bring out to the table smelling and tasting burnt. Appalled I sent it back. 20 minutes later the manager comes out never introduces himself as the manager he says sorry about the wait here's your dinner. Our server returns to the table and asked if the manager brought our food out and we said oh we didn't know that was the manager because he never introduced himself as the manager. We never made a big issue out of it because we wanted to enjoy what was left of our evening but the manager clearly didn't seem to care if he had a happy customer or not. I will never be back and will never recommend it to anyone. Although the menu has some great items on it it's not worth the disappointment in the service and treatment.

Fish Tacos - Yassss!

By Betsy S |

While staying next door at the Westin, we hopped over to True Food Kitchen and it was well worth it. Fish tacos can tend to be dry, but NOT at True Food Kitchen - delicious! Also had the Pad Thai and definitely recommend that as well. Talked to another couple that was staying at the Westin and they also had the fish tacos and they loved them too! A definite 'must eat at' restaurant.

A Treat on Every Level!

By RNRN |

The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious! We ordered something from every offering: appetizer to dessert. We weren’t dissatisfied or disappointed and I don’t think you will be either. Nicole, our waitress, was welcoming and attentive. It does get a little noisy but it is a very fun place! Be aware: Parking during peak hours is tricky so allow yourself ample time.

Not impressed

By orrdin |

The place is very nice and the menu is focused on fresh healthy food however the food was not all that good and service was horribly slow making this a less than good lunch experience.

Excellent food but some staff not polite

By nuyu2013 |

First visit was great- excellent service and food. They really deliver the farm to table fresh food they talk about. Lots of vegetarian options- really enjoyed it. Second visit- staff was arguing amongst themselves and it took forever to get the food. They were more into their drama vs the fact that there were customers around- ruined our lunch.

Very tasty!

By Nataliya K |

Very fresh, big variety of food, delicious and beautiful. Very funny waiters. Good to sit outside as there is a tent and ventilation.

Great for Vegetarians!

By TravelNurse123 |

This is a busy restaurant connected to the Lenox Mall. Parking can be challenging so make sure allow enough time for that. Valet service is available and is located on the side of the building at a cost of 10.00. I(vegetarian)went with a meat eater and we both enjoyed the options. The food is "true food" without all the additives. I will definitely try this place again.

Nothing to Brag About!

By fabricfairy |

I visited True Food for the first time a few days ago with friends. The decor is modern and fun both inside and out. We sat on the patio which had beautiful views of the Buckhead skyline. The service was our main complaint. I asked for waters all around that never came. Our wine orders seemed to take forever and when arrived were not very cold for a sauvignon blanc. We ordered to apps. The edamame dumplings which were tasty, but overcooked and very limp. 5 small flat dumplings for $10! Yikes! The other was the shrimp cups. The plate was prettily prepared, but the lettuce "cups" were no cups at all but one inch limp strips of lettuce. There was no way to hold the contents in these puny strips. Disappointing! Also, our apps arrived, but we had no plates or utensils on which to place them and had to wait a while for our server to come around to request them. This also occurred when we ordered a dessert to share. Poor planning between the server and food runner. We ordered a second round of wine, which took quite a long time to arrive again and just not chilled enough! Our server was very nice and friendly, but seemed to have difficulty with timing. My panang curry bowl was very flavorful, and I enjoyed it!

Lovely food

By kenny_lynch |

Had Sparkling Antioxidant Tea - this was very nice. Starter was roasted brussels sprouts which were amazing. Finished with Quinoa burger with kale salad - was surprised that the burger was cold but it was so tasty Recommended!

Unfriendly bartender

By Akrutchik |

We went there for drinks during the day. We sat at the outside bar. As soon as we sat down an unfriendly bartender came over to take our orders. Immediately, we noticed that the bartender was not smiling and had an edge to her. It seems to me that if she is unhappy at her job, maybe this restaurant is not for her. The management should encourage all of their employees to be friendly to patrons. Maybe if employees are affable, the patrons would return. Because of this experience, we would never go back.

Good food, pricey

By Pindieknoefje |

For good as it was a few years ago. Alcohol free cocktails are very much overpriced, which is a bit unfair. Service was pleasant.

Excellent food

By Nudeflyer |

I found this place while using the Happy Cow app (for vegetarians and vegans). The food is not just vegetarian or vegan - there is something for everyone here. Having said that, the vegan burger comes as a surprise to most non-vegans - it tastes delicious! I think the price is ok for decent food - if you want service and decent food you have to pay for it.

Lunch

By Jenni-Lee B |

Delicious Food! Healthy and great Vibe! Eaten a few times here! Salads, curry, bowls r great! Service is good! Love the decor too. Parking can be an absolute nightmare at Lennox which is a negative. Quite pricey too.

Decent food, odd service

By 150hotelnightsayear |

We sat outside on uncomfortable chairs at a high top table. But it was a nice day ... The food was good - fresh and creative, while maintaining healthy ingredients. The service was overall a little odd to me though. I’m not sure how to peg it - neither fast nor slow. But when the server “double-clutches” on replacing a water because something may have dropped in it ... that I don’t get. Just replace it! It’s water - no big deal. I would come here again because I enjoyed the meal.

Big letdown

By Stefan S |

As a chef and for our last night on our vacation from CO, we had high hopes for a great, allergy friendly dining experience in ATL. Brian (our server) had great attention to detail out of the gate, and the restaurant was not overly busy. He offered seasonal explanation to the menu, along with specials and was very prompt. We ordered a couple cocktails and the tuna lettuce wraps and read the menu further. The app and drinks came out quick and the drinks looked great. The plates had caked on food and the tuna was extremely spicy and we also noticed the water glasses to be caked on with food. Usually a lettuce wrap with tuna has some seasoning and salty/sweet components, but we literally had a hard time tasting anything but heat. My dragon fruit margarita was tasty, but I noticed the glass had a crack and our server didn't come back until my wife's cocktail was almost gone. I explained that my glass was broken, and he promptly replaced it. The new drink had a race stripe of salt down the side down to the bottom of the glass (not the rim) - it was hard not to get salt on my hand, and hard to lick for the drinking. My wife ordered a GF burger (wife is celiac and has a dairy allergy) and Brian (server) asked "you're okay with the sides. She was not asked if she would like the hash, but the kale salad was good anyway, very basic though. I ordered the lasagna bolognese. The dish had no ricotta, it was literally bolognese, gf pasta with some shredded parmesan garnish. It tasted good, but I figured the lasagna would be creamy and was looking forward to the dish as explained in the menu. My wife wanted to order some wine with dinner (we would have ordered 2 glass or a bottle, but I still had almost a full cocktail since I couldn't drink until just before the entrees were brought out), but an expeditor ran the food, and didn't ask if we wanted to order any other drinks. By the time our server returned, I was finishing my plate and my wife was finishing her salad. I told him that it would have been nice to have had the chance to order some wine with our dinner. He got excited, asked if we would still like to order wine and I said that we no longer needed it. He picked up my plate and set it on my wife's plate while she was still eating her salad/finishing her dinner. Once he realized she wasn't finished, he took the plate off of her food, and awkwardly left to get the check and allow her to eat the rest of her food (which had the bottom of my plate stacked on top of it - which was a blatant cross contamination/very unprofessional move). Overall this restaurant seems to have some potential - trendy/seasonal/fresh menu, good drinks, cool dining room with an open kitchen. I understand the dirty dishes (with covid, it's impossible to find consistent dishwashers/entry level cooks - so I'm trying to be understanding), but the servers/cooks should be checking to make sure they are spotless and the bartender should not be serving cocktails in broken glassware. I would also understand a bit of a lapse from the service too, but from start to finish our dinner was a let down. This was sad as it was our only night in downtown Atlanta for our get away from Colorado.

Had an 8pm reservation tonight for the patio. Got there at 7:45. Was told they could seat us closer to our reservation bc the patio was full. Fine. At 8, they told us it would be 20 more minutes. Not ok. The reason why was that they had moved people from inside tables to the patio. Know why? It was FREEZING inside. We couldn't wait in there. We left and won't ever go back.

Impressed

Totally impressed at how tasty the food is. Second time (first time in Santa Monica, CA) and Lennox one did not disappoint. So glad we have one in Atlanta.

Fresh, healthy, and tasty

By Taylor Aslin |

For an appetizer, I highly recommend the edamame dumplings! Very unique and tasty. I also got the teriyaki quinoa bowl which had a great depth of flavor while still feeling very fresh and healthy. My only complaint is that it was quite loud so difficult for conversation. Still delicious food and a must go!

Nice but nothing special

By Roadster2015 |

The service was good, as was the food and the drinks. Atmosphere was just ok and overall nothing negative! It’s just not giving you any wow effect, but only average. It worths giving it another try sometime.

Dinner with a friend after work

By Barbara H |

I had the spaghetti squash casserole for the first time. It was nicely seasoned and the customer service was the best.

A really good restaurant with unique choice of quality foods and superb cooking

By Bonzoboy2000 |

Great restaurant. Loved the food; loved the staff. A very unusual menu. We shared a curry bowl. But we probably should have just ordered our own separate ones. I wish they had one of these restaurants in our neighborhood (in central Florida). It would put a lot of fast food restaurants out of business. Probably the only down side is that it is quite an open area, and it can be a bit noisy. But that's a non-issue in general. I think their refreshing drinks were signature items (as far as I'm concerned)

Never again

By Suzanne M |

Review of real food We did not know the restaurant was located in Lenox Square. Parking was impossible on a Friday at 12:30. Had to valet $15. Service was very slow. Several times food was brought to our table that wasn’t ours. The steak salad was beautiful but the steak was so tough, our friend could not eat it. The smoked Gouda turkey burger was delicious. I ordered 2 sides. Mac and cheese at $6+ which was about a 1/2 cup serving and a Thai peanut side salad that was small but tasty. I left hungry. Flourless chocolate cake (Lava cake) was really good but blueberry crumble sunday.was 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream with 1 teaspoon of blueberry jam—no crumble, no almonds. It looked nothing like the photo on their website. Very disappointing. The finale was so frustrating it was comical. The server had to present the check 3 times before it was correct. The outdoor seating was lovely. Too bad it’s not supported by reasonable food and service. Consensus of our party of four: Never again.

Family time!

By Rosie N |

This place was very nice and cozy.we went at almost closing time and the service and our waiter was very good and answered the questions we had about cetin items and the menu. The was very good and cooked to order. The fennel chicken pizza was amazing and their Turkey burger was very good.

Healthy Vegan Options

By Deja Kierra |

True Food Kitchen is one of my staple health conscious restaurants. I always order the Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl. This time I decided to add tofu for more protein and it was delicious. The bowl is vegan and gf. It includes broccoli, rainbow carrot, bok choy, green bean, snap pea, mushroom, brown rice, avocado, and toasted sesame seeds. The food is always fresh and delicious!

fresh and flavorful

By cowbulls |

We went there with another couple for dinner on a Saturday night. Lenox Square is so crowded on Saturdays that it feels unsafe and not only because of COVID-19, but that is not the excellent restaurant's fault. We dined on the outside patio that was enclosed for the winter. The heat was very unpleasant, but hopefully, that isn't a regular occurrence. The service was not on the level of the food. Hopefully, this was an off night due to the crowd. We ordered the Edamame Dumplings and Herb Hummus as appetizers. The dumplings were superb and very unique. The broth was very flavorful. The hummus was terrific and also not your run-of-the-mill appetizer. We had two pizzas, and both were outstanding. The toppings were all fresh and tasty. The Lasagna Bolognese was very savory. The food was so outstanding that we will be back soon despite the heat and below-average service.

Tasty and nutritious

By PappaTango |

Whilst there are a number of True Foods around the US, this one is very good. The menu has some great healthy options and you can get both delicious and nutritious food at True Food. The waiters and waitresses always seem very happy and make the dining experience better. Great whether you’re in a rush or you want to take your time.

True Food Kitchen

By EvanGuthrie |

True Food Kitchen at Lenox Square in Atlanta is a great place to go for delicious and healthy food that is well prepared. I really like the atmosphere and menu items here with the pizzas being my favorite. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need.

Nice and courteous waiter.

By branzach3 |

Nice and courteous waiter. Food was good but not great. Sons burger was very rare even though he ordered medium.

Nice bar

By Tamara M |

I did not get to eat at True Foods Kitchen at this location yet, but plan to. I did however, get to enjoy a beverage at the bar. The bar staff were very nice and the ambiance at the restaurant is also very nice. It is a good place to come and enjoy a healthy drink.

Dr. Andrew Weil’s delicious healthy eating

By Rhoda M |

Have you ever wished you could eat a healthy, low inflammatory meal that is actually delicious? If so, this is the place for you. I have dined here numerous times and never had a bad meal. The food is far better than the typical vegetarian fare of other restaurants. In addition to alcoholic drinks, there are at least half a dozen creative and refreshing non alcoholic beverages. The bowls and pizza are my favorites. The space is large and open, giving an energetic if somewhat noisy feel. Service is quick, but you will not be hurried. The location is at the outside edge of a large Buckhead mall, Lenox Square. Valet parking is available.

Yes, it is true!

Great food offerings in a fun atmosphere. I had the Cauliflower Polenta Bowl with shrimp - so delicious!

Slow service, food very slow coming out, and cold

By Jan_from_Atlanta |

We were seated, a bit of time passed, server said would be back, which did ultimately happen. We were just in for a couple of entrees and out, but the food was forever coming to the table. When we finally received the order, all of it was cold. Ordered the spaghetti squash casserole (my wife has had here before and said had much more flavor previously) and the turkey burger (very messy and pretty tasteless) with the sweet potato side (just diced and roasted cubes- no other identifiable ingredients). It was a Saturday night and not even that busy. Go figure ?

Truthfully good Food

By The Irish Samoan |

***Atmosphere*** First time I came here I expected another Cheesecake Factory or PF Changs-ish mall restaurant. I was wrong. True Food has a massive dining room and patio with visibility into the kitchen, an indoor/outdoor bar, and doesn't feel whatsoever like its attached to Lenox. If it weren't for the difficult in parking here I would go monthly. ***Food*** Very fresh and tasty, in fact True Food accomplished the rare feat of making me like kale enough that I've ordered it by choice. The tuna tataki is refreshingly tasty, the burger is amazing (I love burgers and this one is stellar), the panang curry has the perfect amount of spice, the fish and steak tacos are great, and their cocktails are incredible. ***Service*** Service is usually very good, but be aware that the place is usually packed and often times requires a reservation or a wait.

Yum!

By atheneum |

This was some of the best vegetarian I've had in a while. The Edamame dumpling app was super creamy.

Fish Tacos Tortillas Always Cold and hard

By Monica G |

To management, I always visit True Food Kitchen weekly 3 times a week because I have celiac disease. Due to my disease, I do not have many options for restaurants but True Food Kitchen has gluten-free foods on their menu. Now, I have been having a problem lately when I order fish tacos the tortilla is always cold and hard. Today, I called the manager because I wanted the manager to touch the tortilla so he can see for himself I was not lying. In addition, I ask my server to touch the tortilla as well and he said yes it is definitely cold. At that point, I called the manager. This is the reason I told since the beginning my server please make sure my tortillas are not sent cold. I truly think the check supervising their chefs need to look further into this situation. with all respect, the type of restaurant should provide above and beyond excellent service pertaining to their food. I only visit 2 restaurant due to my celiac disease and I truly feel super sad this has been happening to me with fish tacos. BEWARE...trust me the tortillas will likely be cold ..not the fish but the tortillas. I hope someone can influence for a change and supervise to verify what I am addressing. I never got a discount or any offer for nothing. I truly was not looking for that because I was invited by my daughter for lunch today. please do a change and pay attention to your customers.

Vegetarian delight

By jettingjh |

It can be quite tough in the states to find good vegetarian food. Most restaurants are heavily near focused and if you are lucky you get one token vegetarian dish on the menu. Not so at True Food Kitchen. I was spoilt for choice. Seasonal menu and all organic I think the server said. After much indecision- I’m not used to this much choice - I settled in the quinoa burger. It’s served in a little stack with salad, hummus and feta and with a kale salad and sweet potato hash sides. Delicious! My friend had the seasonal salad which also look delicious. Highly recommend this place for healthy, vegetarian food.

Tasty food

By Nadreck |

Came here for lunch, busy and a bit noisy, but was able to find a seat at one of the communal bar tables. Lots of vegetarian options; I got the cauliflower polenta bowl and it was very tasty. I like that the menu lists the calorie counts. The jasmine pearl tea was excellent - they use loose leaf tea and steep it in a small glass container with a filter. My server Ashley was friendly and courteous. The price for my small meal was a bit steep for the amount of food, but on the other hand it tasted fresh and service was good. They do offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Good Food!

By 1AZlady |

When we were in Atlanta we were taken there by a friend. It has a nice casual atmosphere and nice clean food. This is a real keeper!

Great for Vegans

By Zarijazz |

our kids are both vegan and this restaurant has a lot to offer-ever for someone that's not vegan but wants to be healthy. so many different things to choose and they are all yummy.

An Average Experience

By LamaFood |

This turned out to be an average dining experience. The service was good, and the food was OK. Because of the open design of the restaurant and kitchen, there was smoke and smells coming from the kitchen into the dining area. Also, the dining area is a tad loud. Probably not worth a second visit.

Great surprise find in Atlanta

By hsy25501 |

My daughter and I were shopping at Lenox and decides to walk next door to True Food. What a pleasant surprise. We had the Edamame Dumplings which were excellent. I have the seasonal brussels sprout salad and my daughter had the chicken sausage pizza. Both were excellent. Our server did an outstanding job with recommendations. My daughter also ordered one of the signature cocktails made with beet juice, which she really enjoyed. I recommend that you try the Edamame dumplings even if you do not like edamame. They are incredible.

Superfood and best service

By Maggotyler |

What I like the most at this restaurant is the service. Waiters and waitresses are very kind and friendly. So friendly that j was about the ask them to sit with us and join the dinner as we were very close friends. But it's not just the service that make this place special. Their food selection is very interesting and we tried some veggies and I was positively surprised by the Brussels sprout because I usually don't like them. Drinks are also very interesting and the ginger honey one was absolutely incredible. Prices are not low, but fair.

True Food restaurant at Lenox Square is trendy..open spaces ..excellent service and delicious food..something for everyone with different palates! So many choices and everything is great 👍🏻

Love it!

By Gomez1000 |

I love the concept of healthy food! I had the poke bowl, it was delish with honest fresh and simple ingredients and yet tasty. My kids had the pizza. I had a glass of hard cider/rose, my new favorite drink. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. Our waiter Eric was delightful, he was friendly, polite and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. Highly recommend.

This place is truly excellent! The first place I have found that is vegan friendly with many menu options for vegans. Service was fantastic, menu was awesome and the atmosphere inside is great. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Minuscule portions and missing items

By Sunshine68549517672 |

Food was okay but takeout portions were ridiculously small compared to portions we’ve always had dining in. This is one of our pet peeves. Make the same damn portions for takeout!! Oh, and remember our extra dressings. The Atlanta Buckhead location is terrible for this brand!

Food healthy, service can be spotty

By Colleen R |

This is a super hot spot at Lenox Mall in Buckhead. It is always very popular and I always recommend a reservation. Good things: Great for anyone with food limitations, i.e. vegetarian or vegan. Most of the food is great, however, you'll find more vegetables in it than other places. I really like the spaghetti squash spaghetti. You have to try to butternut squash soup. It is fantastic. Not so good things: Parking is a challenge as this place is in a busy mall, and also, we've had inconsistent service. We try to be ready to place our order as soon as the server comes to ensure we don't have a long wait. Overall, I would surely try True Food, and if you like the food, the parking and service quirks are worth it.

Good food, but a disappointing ending........

By chasevalley |

This is a very popular restaurant and at 8 pm on a rainy Wednesday evening our group of four had a twenty minute wait for a table. We shared two tomato and arugala pizzas, a plate of miso-glazed eggplant from the vegetable menu, and a bowl of Teriyaki quinoa. Every dish was delicious. The pizza has a thin crispy crust. It was a last minute decision to order the Strawberry and Rhubarb Crisp to share. We commented on the long wait for the dessert to be served , but thought the time was needed to crisp the topping. The dessert was eventually served, but without the vanilla ice cream. We asked the server about the absence of the ice cream and we were informed that the kitchen had run out of ice cream. We asked about cream, but that too was not available. So we were left to eat the dessert as is. We could not understand why we were not told soon after ordering that there was no ice cream available to accompany the dessert as per the menu, This would have given us the opportunity to select another item. This is a serious omission on the part of the server and the kitchen, at such a well-patronised restaurant. Does good food make up for poor service?

Just Another Restaurant

By VBC |

I can see True Food Kitchen from my condo and thought I'd give them a try. Great location and the patio provided top notch seating, since the weather was just cool enough but not cold and warm enough but not hot. The service was decent but it wasn't really a busy night which could make a difference. I ordered their lasagna, thinking how difficult could it be to prepare a palatable version of this basic ingredient dish. What I received about 25 minutes later (not complaining since I was told each dish is made to order) was a bowl of spinach covered by as small amount of tomato based sauce and these two items hid the completely burnt pasta (single piece about 4 inches by 4 inches). I find it extremely difficult to call the dish lasagna and even more difficult to recommend this place based on this sole visit but felt a need to inform others contemplating a visit. I doubt if I'll make another trip there any time soon but if I do and the results are different, I will update this review but only if experience is an improvement!

I flipped the menu and hard to find the food I would like to order however, I ordered the healthy freshly squeezed drink Which I can tell what is it from the name and three Pad Thai that also is every thing but Pad Thai to me...

A great find

By travelboy2008 |

This is an interesting restaurant. It has something for everyone. We went there as a large group...we had a diverse group, with some vegetarians, as well. They serve grass-fed burgers, steak tacos, and a healthy variety of food. I had the grass fed steak tacos. They were amazing. The drinks are healthy and there is a nice variety. I would visit a lot if I lived in the Atlanta area.

Fresh food

By Wendy K |

Food was fresh and prepared well. I especially liked my kale salad with blackened shrimp. It was delicious! My girlfriends liked the entree as well. There was no leftover !! We saw people preparing pizza dough, making fresh fruit juices, and cooking on the background. Blade was our server and he provided excellent service. He made sure we had everything we needed to have a special time. We liked it so much that we tried to go back on our way to the airport but the heavy traffic in Atlanta did not allow it. Next time for sure .

Nice spot for a healthy meal.

Family dinner while staying at a nearby hotel. Provided a nice healthy dinner option with enough variety for the whole family, including little kids. Good service and food.

GREAT CHICKEN AND SAUSAGE PIZZA

Super Fresh Fusion Food

By Jacqui H |

Visiting Atlanta and came here with family for dinner. It's situated in Lenox Square and is quite big and spacious. I had never heard of this place before, so first time here and I was told it was a super healthy place so initially was not too keen lol, but it's actually pretty awesome. Ordered a few items to try, the Edamame Dumplings, Corn & Tomato Flatbread, Edamame Guac, Ancient Grains Bowl with Salmon, Korean Noodle Bowl with Shrimp, Spinach & Mushroom Pizza, Chicken Avocado Wrap, Spaghetti Casserole with Tofu and one Old Fashioned and a Watermelon Mojito. Edamame Dumplings ($11) - Really good, the broth was tasty and overall very delicious - we ordered two. Corn & Tomato Flatbread ($10) - The goat cheese and pesto - super yum. Edamame Guac ($16) - OmG this is sooooo yum seriously really, really good. Edamame & Avocado Guac, who would have thought - it is such a good mix, so delicious and so are the house-made pita chips. This went super fast, we should have ordered a second round of this! Ancient Grains Bowl ($14 + $9 Salmon) - The salmon was cooked perfectly, so soft and melting. Korean Noodle Bowl ($12.50 + $6 Shrimp) - The seasoning/sauce was a bit strong in this one, but still ok. Was a little bit spicy and I asked for some hot sauce (house-made) to add as well and it's pretty spicy so was a nice addition. Spinach & Mushroom Pizza ($16) - This was a really good pizza, the caramelized onion, garlic puree and house-made vegan almond ricotta were great toppings - the ricotta tasted amazing. Chicken Avocado Wrap ($13.50) - Didn't try this, but tried the sweet potato it came with and that was great. Spaghetti Squash Casserole ($14 + $4 Tofu) - Pretty much dying at this point, but managed to try a bite of this. Another great dish, the diNapoli tomato and zucchini seriously good! Old Fashioned ($15.63) & Watermelon Mojito ($13) - Drinks were so so. Not the best old fashioned and didn't really enjoy the mojito. Quantity - Huge, very filling - we all shared and there were still left overs. Ambience - Good amount of seating, but found the lighting a bit dark. We were sitting in the outside patio because we had a puppy - oh yeah, they are dog-friendly! But other than the lighting it was very nice. Service - Great service, very helpful and attentive. Spice - 3/5, The house-made hot sauce is a must try! Taste - So delicious! This is super fresh and yum. There are so many different dishes which usually would belong in different types of restaurants and they got everything right. Can't believe I've never tried this place before. Super fresh food and everything can be customized. I usually don't like chains - unless it's Nandos, but this is very good. Very happy to see that they have one in Dallas! I'd say the Edamame Guac & Dumplings, pizza and salmon are a must try. Dog friendly too so don't have to leave your fur baby at home 😊

Healthy and delicious

Great healthy choices, I had the Kale Cobb salad with salmon and it was amazing! The waiter was friendly and accommodating.

Amazing food!

By Angela L |

My first time at a True Food. My daughter recommended to us. It was delicious. Everything was natural, and tasted amazing. Even the margarita was with freshly squeezed juices -- no mix. I would definitely recommend.

Great Lunch Spot!

Had a lovely, pandemic safe, lunch this week at True Food. The food was tasty, our waiter was excellent and the space between tables and people was ideal. Thank you.

Doesn’t disappoint

By 16Bonnie |

True Food never disappoints, but although the experience was great, I did not care for what I ordered. The service was great, the choices unlimited!, but I didn’t choose well. I would still highly recommend this restaurant though. Order what you’re truly craving though!

Happy we are going back to the basics

By GiannaVacay |

When I saw the baskets of growing herbs around the restaurant, I knew I had to try this place out. Great menu! I had a ginger, lemon honey spritzer to start suggested by my lovely waitress who suggested it when I told her I had a sore throat. I then had the fish tacos. What a nice mix of freshness and the homemade tacos tasted homemade. They make everything from scratch here.

Very disappointed with the food

By John B |

Very disappointed with the quality and amount of food for $100. We had roasted broccoli, one pizza one salad and steak tacos plus two drinks and our bill was $86 without tip. Wait service was slow, plates for appetizers arrived dirty. To many other great restaurants around to spend that kind of $ at an average restaurant.

A very good experience !

By CobaltConnection |

Our team came in for a Monday lunch. Ample parking in front and on the side. Very friendly staff. Punctual service and delicious food. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly prepared.

If you are vegetarian you will like it

By TBMutiny |

I am not a vegetarian nor do I want to be however my wife and daughter are so while they truly enjoyed this restaurant, I was indifferent. I did like the achiote pumpkin seed sauce that was on my chicken wrap but the tortilla was cold, crunchy and tasteless. It would have been better with fresh on-site prepared tortillas instead of something that I can purchase at the local Kroger. My wife and daughter had the inside out quinoa burger and ancient grains dishes and they loved them so if they enjoyed their meal, then that was fine with me. Simply put, this is not my type of restaurant but for others it is. The patio dining was actually pleasant for a July afternoon.

We ate here 3 times in our weeks stay. Healthy option! No WiFi so great family conversation! Evenings are very busy and festive!

Delicious!

By Saf0511 |

Great atmosphere! Lots of options on the menu! Friendly staff! All four of us truly enjoyed our dinner!

Okay Food, Slow & Loud

By Bluejay001 |

The food was what you expect of a hipster-vibed, "upscale" restaurant -- accommodating for vegans and vegetarians. It was extraordinarily loud without even having many guests -- generally unpleasant vibe. The wait staff was very slow and to flag someone down to take an order or get a check took ages.

Great date night!request Dante!

By Annie M |

True food is GREAT. Dante is the best! I orders the teriyaki bowl and sweet potato chips. Delicious all around. Sprint over here!

Good...but

By Bob F |

Went for lunch on a Friday very busy but we had a reservation and got a good table. Three of us ordered food. Problem was everything came out at different times. One pizza was not delivered till others had finished eating. We took it home instead of staying. Yes they comped the pizza after we discussed with manager. My expectation is all of us eat at same time not ‘as each item is ready’. Please work on that True Food!

Healthy Pizza

By Msearli |

Arrived about 11:30am before the noon rush. Ordered the grilled artichoke and pesto pizza. It was very delicious and they gave a generous portion. We sat on the patio and had a very pleasant experience. The server seem to have a lot of tables to serve so we didn't receive a lot of attention.

We went there 2 days in a row

By patriciaDubai |

We’ve tried True Food in Jacksonville so when we saw it here it was a place we wanted to go and we were soooo happy by our choice. For dinner we sat in the terrace and had a wonderful service. We ordered t Grilled Korean Steak and Spaghetti Squash Casserole, we added the chicken sausage for the spaghetti squash and it was delicious. For dessert .. Cookies & Ice Cream… The waiter told us about the weekends brunch so we booked for a late brunch and it didnt dissapoint. We order the Roasted Butternut Squash and Banana Quinoa Pancakes…we loved it ! Again, great service.. Definitely a great place to have a good and healthy food.

Terrible late lunch service made us walk out

By FlaGirl0616 |

My cousin and I walked in to have a late lunch around 2:30pm and while we were seated pretty quickly, even though we watched people walking past our table, no one offered service and after asking for our server, we waited for a few more minutes and finally just walked out. Very disappointing experience.

Incredible fresh and healthy food

By AKto900 |

The location is very handy if you are staying in one of the close Buckhead hotels (Westin or Marriott) or have been shopping in the area. Amazing selection of both vegetarian and non vegetarian food, all with incredible flavor and freshly served. Offers a full takeout menu with a takeout desk, which is convenient. The restaurant is large but was very busy and had a queue for dinner when we visited on a Monday evening. Bartender was aloof, but the table service was efficient. So many great menu options and interesting appetizers, it was hard to select because we wanted everything. Really good squash pie for dessert.

Fresh

By madbeck |

I love this place. We ate at True Food in Arizona so I was happy to find this one in Atlanta. I couldn't decide what to order and opted (with the waitresses help) for the Inside Out Quinoa Burger. I'm not a vegetarian but I love quinoa. The "burger" did not disappoint.

Perfect Sunday Brunch spot

By Julianne M |

True food is a great place food Sunday Brunch. Especially if you arrive between 10:00 and 11:00 am. My girls are lactose intolerant and love the options available.

Healthy and delicious food made for an enjoyable experience

By Eli L |

My wife and I strive to eat healthy, which can be a challenge when traveling. We found True Food and were intrigued by the other reviews we read. We ordered the guacamole appetizer, fish tacos, poke bowl, chocolate cake, squash pie plus an espresso each. All of the food was delicious but the poke bowl stood out as the best item we ordered. The squash pie was also very good but somewhat heavy. Note - their portion sizes are generally not large, which is fine with how we eat. The only two drawbacks to the meal were the price (which was a little higher than a standard casual sit-down restaurant) and the wait for a table. If possible, call ahead and make a reservation to avoid a lengthy delay during the dinner hours.

So Delicious

By alexbJ3309RG |

This is a favorite for me and my daughter. Service is great; attentive, fast and knowledgeable about menu. The food is fresh and delicious and the menu is diverse. Our favs are edamame potstickers and Brussels sprouts. They followed COVID guidelines well and I felt safe.

True Food offers healthy & tasty dining options that cater to people who are gluten free and vegan. If your are not vegan/vegetarian don't despair. Their hamburgers are to die for and so is their sea bass. Don't miss out on trying their dragonfruit margaritas. They are delicious!!!!

We've been in Buckhead Atlanta for 9 days & been to this whole food cafe 5 times - brunch and dinner. Portions are normal, not HUGE. Healthy food choices available without too much 'Ra Ra'. Reasonable prices. Great serving staff, location. Highly recommend.

Mixed reviews from the group 6. The women seemed to enjoy the whole foods and vegetable dishes more than the men. I loved the kale salad that I had with pasture raised steak. The restaurant is attractive and the service excellent. I would return for a lunch with the girls.

Amazing breakfast bowl

By Henry B |

Here on business and needed something for breakfast other than overpriced hotel food. Walking in I was promptly greeted. Atmosphere is upbeat, with music at just the right level. I ordered the sunrise bowl, never having anything like it before. It was amazing. Food (and service) as it should be!! I will be back here later this week.

Sadness on a stale bun.

By David F |

The wife’s salad was pretty good. Probably not $20 good but acceptable. I ordered the chicken sandwich. The first bite was like there was a party in my mouth and everyone had depression. The bun was the eldest and wises of his kind which would be good if he were guiding me on a spiritual journey but terrible if he’s supposed to be the bun of a $20 sandwich. 2 chicken tenders were the protein of this sandwich and they were more dry than a woman on a date with a white dude for Kamala. No lettuce, on this $20 sandwich, and no tomato. A quick squeeze of chipotle mayo 4 sad pickles and off it goes in a recycle friendly box. I’m so pissed off by the sheer lack of effort or care in this $20 sandwich that I’m tempted to not recycle any of this packaging. I’d throw this food into my composter but I’m afraid it would give next season tomatoes clinical depression. This was simply one meal ruined by a corporate mindset so far up its own ass they could yell directly at yesterday’s sad bland meal from that kitchen. Who I actually feel bad for is the wait staff. I’m sure they want to but can’t warn people about the food. They’re just trying to chip away at their student loans and somehow wound up delivering lukewarm plates of disappointment to unsuspecting people. As for the kitchen staff, you know what you’re doing. You know you’re supposed to do better. As a chef I feel you need this dressing down most of all. But as a customer I’m compelled to send you a link to indeed.com more.

Will be back again!

We love true food, and the Atlanta location is no exception! Our food was excellent and the service was quick and servers were very attentive. Highly recommend the squash pie and the fish tacos, they are delicious!

Amazing

First time here in True Food Kitchen. Looking for a quick food and then i ended up eating here. I was all confused with their menu cause they are all healthy menu. Maya is amazing. She is very helpful with me deciding what I’m going to eat. I wanted to share a picture of what I ordered but too late now cause I’m hungry and I ruined the plating. I had Morrocan Chicken. It’s perfect and it’s gluten free which I don’t mind. If you happen to visit Lenox square in Atlanta GA. Don’t forget to visit here. Staffs are all smiling. Good job!

Lovely!

We loved our experience at True Food! The ancient grains bowl was delicious and flavorful. The pad thai was yummy as well. The food tasted fresh. Our waiter Asad was the best!

Awesome lunch

For years my wife raves about True Food Kitchen. It was very good and healthy. Menus is extremely creative in a lively setting. I had a very good salmon lunch perfectly prepared. I haven’t tried dinner here, but this will be regular lunch stop with so many great choices.

Truly amazing!

An oasis of great food amongst so much samey unhealthy food! was a delight to find this restaurant where vegetarians would think they are in heaven, but also carnivores. We ate here twice and enjoyed Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl; Kale Guacamole; Spaghetti Squash Casserole and Mauritius Island Red Fish. All the dishes fabulous flavours and interesting ingredients. Our servers were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We ate on the outside terrace each time and the restaurant was very, very busy, no wonder! Highy recommend a visit.

Great experience

Dinner for 4 of us. Service was perfect...helpful, efficient, friendly. Meals were very tasty...lots of flavor which sometimes can be lacking with "healthy " food. Atmosphere is very lively without being too loud to carry on conversations. Cocktails were varied, good, and fun. My only criticism is that their craft beer choices should be expanded.

Heathy eats

Casual dining in Buckhead. The menu at first glance looks vegan, don’t let that fool you. The flavors pack a punch. I had the roasted brussel sprouts as a starter and the chicken sausage pizza as an entree. The brussel sprouts had such great flavor I wanted to keep eating them. The portion is good enough to share or a meal for one. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes

Wonderful Meal

Met my son here for dinner while in the area. At first I thought, “healthy but probably not tasty!”. I was very wrong!! We started with a flatbread (fig, balsamic and cheese) that was yummy! I had a quinoa bowl with steak and loved it. Tender steak And great flavors. We ended with a signature squash pie (tastes like pumpkin). Great service and food!! Definitely recommend.

Truly Dee-licious Food

It was our first visit to the True Food at Lenox Square in Atlanta and it was a most enjoyable experience. Our server, Selam was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive. The food was amazing. We had edamame dumplings, the charred cauliflower, the chopped salad and the chicken satay. We were hoping for a flatbread pizza but they weren’t ready yet (we were there for a before noon lunch) but Selam surprised us with a margherita pizza gratis!!! We will definitely return as this is a foodie haven!

Excellent Healthy food

Love the wide variety of choices - many being vegetarian. Large restaurant located in the wonderful Lenox Square Mall. Had to wait a short time for a table - could have used some waiting space as i think there is often a line. The chairs were not very comfortable and the room was cold. We ordered too much food because we were excited at the options - not many restaurants like this in central Florida. The lettuce wraps (tofu and jicama) were flavorful and not overly salty like PF Chang's. My husband loved his Ancient grain bowl - i also loved my "seasonal ingredient" salad, I added tuna. The best features were the horseradish vinaigrette and the interesting toasted mulberries. We should have ordered half salads after sharing the lettuce wraps and I could have skipped the added tuna. The lunch was fairly pricey - but didn't have to be. Would love to try more menu items, but we don't live in Atlanta - we'll have to come back.

Very good lunch, good selection, nice atmosphere.

Went for Saturday lunch. We got there before Noon with a reservation, by the time we left there was a long line. They had a great mix and selection of food, for vegetarians lots of choice. We had a pizza as an appetizer, quite good. I had Huervos Rancheros, only so-so, not a lot of assortment in it or food on the plate. We had some of their signature Mimosas, quite good. Service was friendly but a little slow, especially from the bar. Four of us, four entrees, pizza appetizer, six drinks about $180. I would try it again, I think it has good potential.
