Situated almost adjacent to Whole Foods, the Galleria-area True Foods had a fairly extensive menu, well prepared, and friendly service-oriented staff.

Enjoyable very healthy lunch enjoyed Great choice available Really lived up to its name and reputation indeed

i can't say enough about the food. so so good. some of the best hummus that i have ever had and with GF PITA! In heaven. The main course also relish. Curry. But the dessert...flourless chocolate cake. i will definitely return. The restaurant is VERY noisy. Service could have been better--brought my main about 2 min after my hummus. Waitress never asked if my friend wanted dessert, just brought the check and left. Odd...but the amazing food and the courteous manager that i voiced my concerns to will make me go back!

Loved this place! Food was healthy , service was great, nice decor....great atmosphere! Thanks for giving us an option away from Mexican food or high calorie food.

We dined on the patio because inside seemed rather noisy. We had a good experience there -- service was fine, temperature must be considered, but it was cooler than we expected, and the street noise was not bothersome. The wine that I had was really good for the price. The food seemed really high quality and tasty. My only observations is that I expected more vegan offerings from a restaurant with True Food in its name.

Delicious, creative and healthy food in a vibrant setting makes this my new favorite for a healthy meal. While you may not recognize every ingredient on the menu, they are all in dishes that you feel good eating on multiple levels. Skip the pricey valet and self park in the garage.

I have been coming here for a long time, and it is delicious every time. My favorite thing to get is the Chicken Teriyaki bowl, and I love it because it is fresh, healthy, flavorful, and delicious. The restaurant is busy, so I recommend making a reservation; however, I find it easiest to call and reserve a table on my way there. The service is great, and it is in a nice part of town, not to mention, it is gorgeous inside. The parking is very easy and I never have trouble parking. Overall, I love this place and definitely recommend it to anyone. Also it is a great place for business meetings, or just meeting up for lunch with a friend!

Truly fresh, clean, healthy eating in a large. colourful, comfortable setting. Pomegranite limeade jumpstarted my cleanse as I scanned the menu before deciding on the plentiful kale guacamole with pita chips to start, which was full of soft, plump avocado. My main choice was the ancient grains bowl with tofu, a well-balanced selection of cilantro pesto, miso-glazed sweet potato, snap peas, caramelised onions, and mushrooms... oh yeah and the grains. All delicious, and the fresh wholesomeness was jumping of the plates. The warm industrial-hip look, with oversize pendant lighting, bright yellow chairs, and desert-inspired succulent plants, presumably to reflect the Airzona origins of this chain, created the relaxed positive ambience.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Simon was the highlight of our visit! He was super attentive and made some great recommendations on the dinner menu. This was the best restaurant service I’ve had lately. Excellent flavors in the pad Thai and the freshness of the food and drinks is refreshing. We were fortunate to get one of the seats outside without a reservation on a Tuesday night. Can’t wait to get back here. I had the butternut squash pie for dessert and it is unbelievably delicious! Valet parking is $8.

I went to True Food in El Segundo California and absolutely loved the food. Came back home to Houston and decided to take the hubby out to dinner and thought of the True Food location on Post Oak and San Felipe. The food did not disappoint but was VERY surprised that not all wait staff was marked up. I inquired why, and was informed it was a corporate decision. Even if the waitstaff is vaccinated, given all the variants out there currently, not a smart decision, especially as not all diners are vaccinated. Even McDonalds staff wears a mask. SHAME on you Dr Weil!!! I WILL not eat at True Food Houston, until all waitstaff is masked up, it is DANGEROUS.

Ate here four times on a recent solo business trip. That was how much I liked it. I tried soup, salads and the bowls. Everything was excellent with fresh ingredients. I usually feel terrible when eating out while traveling, but not this trip thanks to finding this place!!! The grapefruit martini was also excellent!!!

Our first trip after several recommendations turned out to be a disappointment. Very poor service slow, waiters running into each other. Incorrect orders.

This is a great healthy restaurant usually with an excellent menu that changes with the major seasons. A couple of dishes on the summer menu fell flat. They have a watermelon and tomato salad appetizers for example that looked beautiful but was way too acidic tasting. The soup offering was also not that great. Hoping the rest of the summer menu is better. Will try again.

Went for lunch over Xmas weekend. We were surprised at the quality of the food. All very fresh and locally sourced. Great tasty dishes. Could have been a bit hotter but the flavours were great. Ended up staying for extended lunch and tried the deserts. Most impressive was the teamwork demonstrated by all the staff. Seemed like everyone was focussed on giving us a great experience. Well done and thank you.

Be here twice, food is very good, if you are into juices, vegetables and everything healthy this is the place

Had never been to a True Food before and was glad to have the chance to eat at this one. Not only is the food freshly prepared, but the menu is vast and their signature house drinks are amazing. I had the ginger lemonade along with one of their salads. Everything was great!

Had a group of 15 attend on a Friday evening. Packed crowd. Fortunately Taylor and Jesika (with whom we had pre-arranged the dinner) had made flawless arrangements and the food was excellent. A good time was had by all. Will certainly visit again!

This is a very nice restaurant located near a mall and next to Whole Foods serving fresh and very imaginative variety of foods along with nice juice and drinks that are well thought out and well prepared. Our service was really good and the one entre' item we wanted to split was taken care in the kitchen itself. Our food was very tasty and enough to serve the lunch needs and service was timely and quick but not rushed.

Just had dinner alone at True Foods. Lot of nice vegetarian options. I had the spicy panang curry bowl with rice. I requested them to make it less spicy and they were able to customise it. I also asked for some extra rice which they were nice enough to get. Service is very good and friendly. Didn't feel odd eating here alone. It's a casual place with a really nice vibe. Will be a nice place for lunch too.

We’re becoming True Food junkies ... the restaurant is clean, modern and has an awesome menu. Heath food was never so delicious. It is now our go to restaurant whenever we want to get out without sacrificing health or waistlines.

I can NOT say enough about this place!!! So, I will just say GO!!!! It is TRULY a True Food experience! I only wish it were closer!! We were celebrating my daughter's graduation, and this was her choice. I had never been, but, am already planning a trip back! The service was PHENOMENAL! The server, (and I WISH I could remember her name), was incredible, and made it a special occasion, for sure! The food was a true delight! More than a meal, it was an enlightenment! Thank you, True Food Kitchen!

Arrived in Houston for a week and the first night out we visited True Foods... so glad my friend brought me here as the quinoa burger was really tasty. We sat outside for the evening and had a really nice time. Would definitely go back again.

This is one of my son's favorite haunts, the food is creative and tasty. We had roasted Brussels sprouts, charred cauliflower, fig and Gorgonzola flatbread, Panang Curry, and butternut squash pizza. Portions are generous. My only complaint is the alcohol offering. The wine was overpriced. There is no beer on tap, we had a can of the "local rotating IPA" which was tasty. Maybe I'm a spoiled Californian but I would expect a restaurant of this quality to have a better beer selection.

Based on a past experience about one year ago, I came back for a business dinner. Did not like the service (slow and not caring) nor the food, I had a vegetarian hamburger with dry and reheated french fries, I left most of it. The beer was good though

We decided to have an early and healthy dinner. It was such a nice evening that we sat out on the patio. Service from Jasmine was excellent and she was quite helpful. I went with her recommendation on the daily soup which was a beef broth with mushrooms. It was very tasty. The two of us decided to go with a spaghetti casserole and the fish tacos. Both were quite good.

I heart TFK. It's like Ruggles Green on steroids! Organic, non-GMO steroids... Here you can get refreshing juices, a good selection of libations, and well-proportioned, tasty meals in a casual, yet sophisticated atmosphere. I can walk in wearing my Sunday Best or straight from the gym, no questions asked. It's a great option for those looking for a vegan/vegetarian menu but also caters to the meat and dairy lovers. One of my top choices for breakfast/brunch, lunch, or dinner - any day of the week. A seasonally rotating menu keeps things interesting! I've had almost everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Every natural refresher has something to offer your taste buds. I don't have a favorite because they're all unique. Foodies will especially appreciate the edamame dumplings - yum! The vegetable crudités are super fresh and crunchy. Their kale & avocado dip is tasty. The caramelized onion tart is pretty awesome too. All their salads are great; I usually get a half-order of the kale salad in addition to an entree. LOVE the red chili shrimp, panang curry, teriyaki bowl, and street tacos. The Moroccan chicken, short ribs, turkey lasagna and spaghetti squash casserole are flavorful dishes I rotate into my diet as well. Try the quinoa burger. Just do it. Honestly, I mentioned the majority of their entrees, so you know you won't go wrong with any choice. Their flourless chocolate cake is the best-selling dessert (isn't it the most popular dessert everywhere though?), but my absolute favorite is the sliced apple and goji berry crisp (strawberry rhubarb shows up sometimes) - just writing about it is making me ponder it's great taste! Their chia seed pudding, lemon tart and lemon-ginger frozen yogurt are other healthy options hard to find in Houston, as well as sorbets (pomegranate anyone?). I've also had the breakfast items, and you can't go wrong if you just plain love food! True Food Kitchen is a great addition to the small number of restaurants that cater to the more health-conscious individual. But all this writing has tired me out, so I'm gonna go grab lunch - see you there!

Great atmosphere….clean, modern, nice bathrooms. Food had great presentation and flavor, and is healthy! We enjoyed the salmon, acorn squash flatbread, skinny margarita, and cookies with ice cream. Flatbread was my favorite!

Don't come here to waste money. Out of 5 items one was okay. Expensive and tasteless. I would not come again. I don't know why ratings are high.

Unbelievably delicious, ingeniously healthy, reasonable prices, we went back for three nights in a row!!

I found this restaurant to be way too noisy to carry on a regular conversation with my lunch partner. The food was OK but I thought pricey for what we had. And then when I got the check for $39, I gave the server my credit card but was charged $81 on the receipt to be signed. I pointed it out to him and he apologized and corrected it. I’d suggest being more careful going forward. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

If you exercise regularly and have a balanced diet, there is no such thing as a 'super food'.......but whether or not you live into the hype, this place is an excellent option with all your super foods on offer. And they are prepared in an amazing way, I recommend the bowl options on the menu....reasonably priced with portions to match. The atmosphere is incredible with an indoor and outdoor area, very mod with a fresh vibe. There are subliminal messages of positivity that play on your senses. Great for group or couple.........one of my favorite restaurants to go to.

Love True Food. Great to be able to go out to a restaurant and get healthy food that is also delicious. Great atmosphere. Recommend the panang curry and truffle dumplings.

I’m enjoying an early Birthday Vegan🥑🍴 meal with my bestie. In the photo I ordered a “Ancient Grains Bowl” with a miso glazed sweet potato, turmeric, charred onion, snow pea, grilled portobello, avocado, hemp seed and to top it off with smoked tempeh. My second dish was a “Butternut Squash Pizza” on top it’s has a smoked onion, organic kale, vegan almond ricotta with dried cranberry. For starter I had the “Shiitake Lettuce Cups” tofu, jicama, sambal, Thai basil, cashew.......every bite is tasty with an abundance of flavor.

The food is prepared with quality ingredients and is quite delicious. The wine list is small but satisfying, and the cocktails are solid. All-around good place.

I always enjoyed True Food Kitchen in Scottsdale, Arizona so I knew when we were visiting Houston over the holidays that this is where I wanted to go with everyone. The food is exceptional! The quality of the ingredients, the combo of the flavours...all of it is perfect. We also had a large table so for the service to wait on us with ease was the "icing on the cake." Thank you True Food Kitchen on Post Oak!

It's nice to know that True Food serves consistently reliable healthy meals especially welcome when you are on the road. All kinds of offerings for vegetarians and gluten free individuals. Their edamame hummus with gf pita bread and the Korean noodle bowl were simply delicious. What was amazing was their consistency with the Santa Monica and Palo Alto locations. No shortage of plant based offerings.

If you want a meal where you know what is in it, where it came from, how many calories it has, and taste great, this is the perfect place. When you enter, you feel you are walking into a kitchen, a really big one, but nonetheless a kitchen. It’s very spacious, well lit, but always cold. Make sure to bring a light sweater if you get cold easily. I ordered the teriyaki bowl with tofu, yum yum. Now for the interesting part, the dessert. We ordered the lavender float, it’s not like anything you have ever tasted. It’s pure fun, a party for your taste buds. They told us it has one awards, and we could see why. It was a combination of vanilla ice cream, and lavender fizz. It’s a must if you like to try new things.

Came here with my daughter and had a great tasting vegan curry. I would definitely recommend this place

In my last trip to Houston I went several times for lunch and every time I found the food and service excellent. The place has an "organic" feeling. I would definitely would recommend it.

This was our first time to a True Food Kitchen. We've recently moved to Houston and were not very hopeful of finding a lot of vegan and gf option but True Foods is really nice with plenty of options to choose from. The server told us that they have a seasonal menu which changes every 4 months, that they do not have a freezer or a dryer on site so you know that everything is prepared fresh and is healthy! I ordered the inside out quinoa burger and my husband ordered a glass noodle salad and both were delicious :-). Will definitely be returning there again.

We visited True Food Kitchen on a Saturday. It was very busy, we had to wait a bit for a table. It was worth the wait! We had the Tomato Bruschetta and Grilled Avocado as starters and they were very good. My son had the Spicy Panang Curry, I had the Grilled Chicken Salad and my husband had the Summer Ingredient Salad. We all enjoyed our meals and all agreed that we will return. The ingredients were fresh and the menu had a nice selection to choose from.

This was my first time eating vegan anything. Everything I had was delicious. I had the kale avocado for appetizer. That was very good. Then I had Teriyaki Quinoa. Very surprise but it was also delicious. For dessert I had the flowerless cake with vegan vanilla ice cream. Great experience with good service.

My daughter and I had a "Mother-Daughter night" up in Houston, we stumbled across this restaurant and decided, Why not! We didn't realize it was a "healthy" restaurant until we ordered our drinks. My daughter had a Sangria and I order a crown and ginger-ale. The so sweet waiter let me know they didn't have ginger-ale, sprite or anything "with high-fructose corn syrup", but he said he could MAKE my ginger-ale. Turned out to be the BEST lightest drink I've had. So we figured we were off to a good start! We made a couple of choices based on some reviews and the waiters suggestions.. Edamame dumplings Charred califlower Lasagna bolognese We thought we died and went to heaven... the fresh herbs and cheese and home made dumplings, the meat sauce on the lasanga, and the pistacio and medjool dates, oh wow - everything was SOO good...

Excellent service-warm , attentive and friendly Food is first rate healthy food - with an imaginative use of ingredients- we love the hummus, ancient grains bowl and the salads . Lovely wine selection at reasonable price point. Management is particularly accommodating.

I brought my team here for a lunch date and we all had something different. The red chili noodles with steak was highly recommended and rightfully so. The baked brussel sprouts are my go to appetizer and so naturally, I ordered them for a side dish to my main meal, which was... the edamame dumplings! Yes! I cannot say enough about these little things! They're like pierogies but without the calories. I will come back again and again for those dumplings!

This is a bit of a ladies who lunch place, but who cares? It can also get very loud and crowded sometimes. The food is generally quite good. I particularly like their Asian dishes. This is the place to get the trendy "superfoods" like kale and quinoa.

True kitchen is a solid choice for healthy eats. I particularly like their drink menu which has a nice selection of cold pressed juices and teas. All their menu selections are easy to navigate according to your dietary preferences, vegetarian, dairy, gluten etc. I find the dishes hit or miss, some are better than others. The butter squash casserole is pretty bland and left me hungry. My favorite dish is the grass fed burger. I ask for it without the bun and it's delicious on a bed of greens with the kale salad and sweet potato hash. I haven't had dessert but they look pretty tasty.

Very good food, options for everybody, the drinks are made with natural ingredients, good service...

Good food, cool atmosphere. And you're so healthy you feel good when you walk out! That said, small portions and high prices make this is a dubious value. But good quality food and drink in a lively place made it a fun evening.

Quick Friendly Service and Healthy Food. True Food Kitchen has been in the Post Oak area for 8 years - I love the innovation of the menu and keep coming back for the Kaleaid!

We went in to True Foods prior to meeting friends at Peska, next door, for dinner. I had seen their website and they looked like the had a nice bar. Good for a cocktail before we ventured next door for dinner. Our bartender was very hospitable, explaining the whole concept of True Food to us. We both ordered a Grapefruit Martini ($11.00 each). The ingredients were fresh grapefruit, vodka, I think another ingredient that I don't recall, and a basil leave. The drink, albeit a bit sweet for my taste (must have been the other ingredient), was nice and refreshing. Would definitely consider coming back here to try the food based on the service we received and the ambiance of the restaurant and bar.

Was introduced to this restaurant chain while visiting family in Houston. It was very tasty and reasonably priced for a vegetarian restaurant. I cant wait to try out the one in my hometown of Chicago with my daughter.

Healthy options on all different paths with some great drinks & smoothies made fresh. Organic options & a light mood.

This ultra-modern and entirely delicious restaurant has something for everyone. While traveling on business our group of four (two vegetarians, one foodie and one casual diner) came across True Food Kitchen on a search of vegetarian friendly restaurants. You'd think that in a large city this wouldn't be a challenge but it really has been. From start to finish everything was purposely prepared and presented. The Thai Martini (more a basil grey-hound) was incredibly refreshing. The Poke Bowl was a good size with a very well balanced melange of ingredients. My one issue: No Ture Food Kitchens in the Northeast yet.

My husband and I went to have some healthy food I had a green juice to start and my husband had a tea. We started with the mushroom soup which had great flavor but not enough mushrooms. Then we each had different bowls that were so delicious! The service was good and we were to stuffed for dessert

This place is really special. Beautiful inside or out on the patio. A nice open bar. A wonderful array of food. Thed pizzas are to die for, as are the lasagna and the burgers. A hit this time was the cucumber salad. Delightful on a hot, late summer day. The drink and wine lists aregood. I usually have the sangria--very tasty! Service is attentive and friendly, and orices are fair, Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this place and I was thrilled to find out they are opening one in my area! Eat, drink and be healthy was on the sign at the front door which made me hopeful for the food experience ahead. So many delicious sounding, healthy menu items made it difficult for me to decide. But I settled on the skinny cucumber margarita, grapefruit, kale and avocado dip And the bison burger with sweet potato hash. The margarita was so flavorful and uniquely tasty! The dip was very fresh and creamy. It is served with some type of flatbread crisps. I could have ate another order of it. The bison burger was a perfect size and served on a flax bun. The hash was cooked with onions and sesame oil and prepared perfectly crispy. So happy with our decision to dine here while staying in Houston for a couple days. And I cannot wait for it to be local because I will become a regular.

We have visited a True Food in Denver before and loved everything about it. Was happy to see this in Houston on our wknd visit. We dropped by late on a Saturday and were luckily seated right away. The waiter didn’t write our order down so he had a few mistakes. The burger was delicious though, the sides were sweet potato hash and greens. Also tried pizza for the kids (meat and cheese) and a chicken pita wrap, they loved it. The kids menu was a little too off for them. Flourless cake after was 100%, delicious. I really like the atmosphere here, it is just where I want to be on a sat night and this type of food is just what I want going into my body. It’s a lively little place, alcohol is flowing and people visiting & enjoying their time. The little area near this restaurant is great too, they offer yogurt next door and a Giant whole food. If you like to eat healthy, Go here!! You won’t regret it, so many choices. I wish they would put one in southern Louisiana (and it succeed!).

Background - conference at the Weston-Galleria, no car, staying at an Air BnB nearby. This restaurant is an easy and safe 1/2+ mile walk from the Galleria. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent and Whole Foods is in the same building if you want to buy groceries. I went with a friend, who had been to a True Food Kitchen elsewhere. We ordered to share and the waiter provided the extra plates for us to serve onto. The first thing I ordered was the heirloom carrots, which they didn't have. The shiitake and lettuce cups was way too spicy for me- I forgot that this is Texas! They were happy to provide a milder serving even though I had eaten ("suffered" through) almost half of this dish. It came, not as cups, but as romaine lettuce leaves (6) and a bowl (1 cup?) of the mushroom mixture which was very tasty, once I could taste it, wimpy New Englander that I am. It would have been nicer to have a softer lettuce without a rib because it was hard to wrap the filling without breaking the lettuce, which left the filling on the plate instead of my mouth. Regardless, I enjoyed it. We also got the butternut pizza which I was thinking would be too sweet, with the dried cranberries, smoked onions and squash. It wasn't. It was delicious and the flavors worked well together. The sweetness was balanced by the kale and almond ricotta, which mimicked dairy ricotta very well. Our final dish was the charred cauliflower. This was a bit dry, in my opinion, the first night but my friend liked it enough to order it again the following night. There was more sauce the second time around. We had leftover cauliflower both nights and I enjoyed these the following day for lunch. The flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was not what I was expecting. No matter- yum!!! It was a not too sweet, small cupcake sized and shaped cake- smooth on the inside and a bit crunchy on the outside. The ice cream went perfectly, as well as the cacao nibs sprinkled on the top- crunch factor and the caramel sauce underneath. The following night we got the ancient grains bowl and the inside out quinoa burger. The grains in the bowl were faro, quinoa and ?spelt. The sweet potatoes were a bit spicy for me but mixed with the pesto and grains it worked. The cilantro-mint pesto was to die for! We asked for more and also put it on the burger. The tofu was plain, fried and not too interesting. It all worked together as I wanted something homey rather than adventurous. The inside out burger was two thick discs, a bit dry, with all the fixings between them. I don't think you would be able to pick it up and eat it and it broke apart when we cut it- the waiter warned us about that. The flavors were good but I probably wouldn't order it again. We went on Saturday around 9:00 pm when there were only a few tables of customers. Sunday at 7 pm, it was hopping but we got a table immediately. Both of the waiters we had were very different but kind, communicative and present when we needed them. I will definitely seek out the True Food Kitchens in other cities. If you found this review helpful, please press thank below.

My go to Brunch spot in Houston! The Quinoa Pancakes and Chopped Salad combo can't be beat. My kids love the pizzas and we can bring our Pup with us on the patio to make a Family day out!

I ordered the Good Earth Cobb salad. It was very good. The asparagus, cheese, avocado, tomatoes were all very good. there was a perfect amount of flavor and toppings on the salad so I barely needed the cashew dressing that came with it but it was also amazing. The only negative is I ordered to go at the bar and the waitress was not friendly at all. $14 for the salad. I do like how they post the calories by each dish on the menu.

This place has it all! Beautiful dining room, attentive waitstaff, amazing food, and it is GOOD FOR YOU! The menu rotates with the season so the offerings are seasonal, fresh, and interesting. I love going to a place that has a changing menu. The hummus offering is always a hit. I love the seasonal veggies (especially the cauliflower) and the dips that accompany them. There is nothing like a cocktail infused with herbs or flowers, and it is all done in house here! It's the perfect date night spot. I have also gone here with my kids and the staff has been great with them. I appreciate a place that I can dress up to and also take the family for lunch. The chef even came and said hi to us! We will definitely be back.

I was here on a date today. We ordered the Teriyaki Bowl and Penang Curry. Both dishes were almost inedible and poorly made. Teritaki bowl overly salty and bland in tase, and the Curry over milky and bad taste. Very disappointed with the meal and ambience.

We have a great lunch here. The inside is very nice but a little loud. The waitstaff was excellent and explained all the food choices well. I would go back again.

I must admit I did not expect healthy food to taste great but this sure did. I found the experience to be quite pleasant. The wait staff was very helpful in explaining the ingredients of different dishes and their service was very fast. I enjoyed the hummus and the smoothies which were not my normal food fare.

The food is good here (most of the time), but the table service is rather poor. Sitting at the bar you get better service. Problem is that when they are busy, service gets worse and you get served cold food. May not go back again.

True food kitchen serves organic, gluten free and also vegetarian food for people who care about what they are eating. They offer a big variety of different meals for every taste to a great price. I tried the tuna appetiser and the veggie pasta as main course and was very satisfied. It's located right next to the Whole Foods Market which caters to a similar crowd. It's also a good alternative for a nice dinner with friends and family since they have tables for bigger groups as well.

I really enjoyed the freshness of the food. The kale and mango appetizer was good as was my main entrée of sea bass. The portions could be a little larger but the prices were reasonable so that makes up for the portion size. They had a large cocktail selection but they could get better craft beers available. Overall, I would go again.

went recently with my daughters , ordered the smoothies and the healthy pizza , everything was great , all natural healthy food , good service , nice atmosphere , a bit pricey

My first True Food Kitchen experience was in California. When I saw the Houston branch, I definitely wanted to go in. I ordered the grass-fed beef burger for take-out. It was cooked medium well (like I like it) and tasted nicely. The side of sweet potatoes was a bit disappointing though: the potatoes were bland and a bit too oily. The service was great and the staff was welcoming. They have other great choices including my favorite inside out quinoa burger.

I know when I go to True Foods that I can choose healthy options from their menu. I am sure they have food that is not too healthy too. They have wonderful juices and libations. I love that everything is fresh and that they use herbs too. We probably go their once a week. I do wish that they would publish nutritional values on their menu.

We went to this restaurant on Thursday evening with colleagues. We booked it in advance. The restaurant is spacious and you can seat either inside or outside. The food was good, service was excellent and price is reasonable.

Wow. The food was amazing. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Salad (which had: medjool date, dried cranberry, jicama, apple, manchego, farro, marcona almond, champagne vinaigrette too). I had lunch with one of my gluten free friends and we decided to try this restaurant. I have to admit restaurants of this genre make me a little... nervous. You really never know what you are going to get. Fortunately, the food here was amazing. The salad was huge (I couldn't finish it and I'd only had a granola bar for breakfast). I liked everything about it. Had a great vibe, great atmosphere, the service staff were great. I even went when it was super busy and was happy. I would totally eat here again.

My mom & I stopped for lunch here, & everything was delicious! The hummus had a bit of a kick, & the pitas were super thin & served warm. My steak tacos were super yummy, & just filling enough. Great experience. I'll definitely be back!

Great vegan options like the Pumpkin pie for dessert with coconut whipped cream that was very tasty, the TLT sandwich was also awesome, I went there twice and I once asked for their zucchini spaghetti with extra tomato sauce and almond vegan ricotta (they use this for a vegan pizza that I haven’t tried. Last but not least I loved their Kale and grapefruit guacamole! How to give Guac’ a great twist! They really have a great menu no matter your taste what you’re in the mood for or wether you’re omni or vegan. If it’s chilly don’t worry about sitting outside they have heaters.

We met up with some friends for an evening meal. The place was quite nice although a lack of soft furnishings meant that it was quite noisy. Personally I didn't think the menu was great. There was only one starter and only two main course dishes I fancied. The starter was enormous, enough to share with up to six people, but the main course I ordered was quite small. The food seemed to be mainly vegetarian.

First time there. We sat out on the patio on a beautiful day and it quickly filled up with other diners. The inside dining room had a nice feel, too. I had a Margherita pizza and it was OK. Unfortunately, nothing special. My girlfriend had a salad with grilled chicken and said hers was just OK too. Many of the people around us were having salads so that looks like a popular menu item. Service was good and we weren't rushed, even during the busy lunch hour. Will definitely go back and be more adventuresome.

The place is relaxed, nice, the waiter was very friendly and my beet salad and quinoa burger were delicious!

Yummy salads and options that will satisfy your appetite & you will truly enjoy! My fave is the Chopped Chicken salad- I like the chicken cold. Delicious.

Horrible experience. Ordered gluten free, served wheat crust! Anyone searching for gluten free restaurant dining knows that it's hard to find a place you can trust with your health, well scratch this place off your list.

Not a place we would typically dine at. However, it turned out to be a very unique place with great tasting food. Great service complimented our party of 6. Tried several menu items and all tasted delicious. Well worth the visit.

Interesting restaurant. You don't get the usual stuff you order but everything you order is good for you and tasty too! The waitress was so attentive and helpful. Split the burger into two plates as she realised we were sharing our food! Let us have tasters for the drinks when we could not decide which drink to order! She was so good! She has made the experience so much better!

This is a nice place to have a light meal, options are very healthy, and service is very good. They offer options that range from turkey burgers to spaghetti casserole, and I would recommend the ginger margarita for an interesting twist.

Always fresh and delicious. True Food has become one of our favorite healthy restaurants to eat. A great selection of very delicious dishes and a nice bar selection too. Well priced for great quality food.

The food choices were inventive and tasty. Our server, Ethan was well informed and willing to offer suggestions about food choices. The atmosphere and menu was welcoming to both non-meat eaters and meat eaters alike. Looking forward to my next visit.

The herb hummus is my preferred option to share with friends. Everything is perfectly cooked and very healthy. The waiters are friendly and they don't rush so you can enjoy the food and the conversation.

I found True Food Kitchen while searching for a place to eat brunch on Mother's Day. I made our reservation with OpenTable and we arrived right on time and were seated immediately. We had originally reserved a table outside, but they quickly switched us to indoor seating as it was raining that morning. We started with the requisite Mimosas and ordered the hummus as a starter, which was dressed with cucumber, purple onions, and some other components that yielded a tasty way for us to start our meal. Ordering from the special Mother's Day menu, we sampled the Smashed Avocado Toast, Bison Sausage Breakfast Pizza, and Strawberry Quinoa Pancakes, enjoying every bite. Portions were generous and the flavors of each dish were pronounced and each plate was cleared. Our server was amazing, always ready to help without being intrusive. The meal was timed well and we leisurely enjoyed our experience in about an hour and a half. The facilities are tastefully appointed, restrooms clean, and our entire experience was delightful. While we tried True Food and their special menu for Mother's Day, the regular menu presented a number of meal options that I long to try. We will definitely be back for more, and soon.

We were here for dinner. It is a great place to eat healthy food which is made in open kitchen. They have variety of healthy and flavored dishes which are very creative. Nice decor and ample of seating place. Expensive for portions they serve but worth it. Service was bit slow. Founded by Dr Weil crafted the menu very well for vegan as well as meat eaters.

I am planning to return and work my way down the menu until I've tried every dish. The drink bar mixes up fruit and vegetable drinks- add a little alcohol or enjoy a beer if you wish. The menu focuses on your health but doesn't skimp on flavor and options. In four abs out door seating. Valet parking and a garage are available.

I would rather to go to whole foods next door to this restaurant and pay for the salad bar ...the food would be tastier, cheaper, better quality and people would be more respectful . So sad that places like this try to rip people off in the name of organic and accommodating all diets but have no clue to make a simple salad... I really hope they shut down this place...

This was my first visit and I wish I could unsee what I saw going into your cocktails. They are coming with a lot more “ingredients” that the health minded customers are bargening for. I was seated at the bar right where the drinks are prepared and had the misfortune to observe how they are prepared. I don’t know about the kitchen, but this place is run in the most unsanitary way I have seen. Many (probably all) servers come there to “fix” the drink “to order” and all of the servers use their fingers to handle any ingredients that go into the drink. Lemon wedges, tea bags, dry ingredients, absolutely everything! Straws that go into those drinks are also touched by the same fingers right at the tip that goes into your mouth. I haven’t seen the bathroom if they have any “employees must wash hands” signs, but it wouldn’t matter anyway because those fingers touch everything from menues, to credit cards to cash. I was watching a server holding several dollar bills (while fixing up a drink) in the same hand and close enough so that it touched the drink inside the glass. This is how germs and viruses are spread. I was beyond disgusted and will never go there again.

Ordered take out as my first experience at True Food. They have a lot of variety of healthy options. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Portion sizes were generous. Recommend the turkey burger and lasagna.

We have been couple of times now and the food is always fantastic. Whether it is for lunch or dinner, we have been very happy. Meal size is excellent as the meal is about the taste of the food and not the excessive amount on the plate.

I come to Houston quite often and normally for dinner I end up going always to the same steak houses. This place was a surprise. Lightweight food, nice atmosphere, good choice also for vegan or vegetarians. Cocktails were also rightly alcoholic. I will definitely go back again.

Quickly becoming my favorite restaurant for simple, healthy meals that really tantalize your taste buds. Nice relaxed atmosphere with an option of indoor or outdoor dining. Really knowledgeable staff who are all familiar with their menu. What I found quite intriguing as well was the fact that the menu changed within a month. I'm not certain if that is a regular occurrence or if I was just lucky......great diversity and options available. I recommend for brunch, lunch or dinner....make sure you make a reservation for dinner though!

Loved loved loved my Sunday impromptu lunch here with my teenage daughter. We sat at the high tops which didn’t require a reservation. The antioxidant sparkling tea was delicious and then I ate the sunrise bowl... so good! They will make anything vegan, gluten free or veggie as needed so bring your saints or sinners... either way you will love it!

I go here for lunch once in awhile with friends. I love their ancient grains bowl! It’s so wonderful! I would also get a reservation if you know you will eat there. Lunch hour can get slammed.

We spent 3 days in Houston while on holidays and ate at True Food on each of these days as we enjoyed the food so much. There are plenty of options for vegetarians/vegans and we enjoyed everything we tried. We highly recommend the teriyaki quinoa bowl and the apple, carrot, ginger tonic.

I have liked every dish the 3 times I have eaten here. Waiters are helpful with special diets. Uptoun ambience with a healthy flare.

I went here a few times during my trip and it was great each time. It can get busy so it would be good to reserve a table before you go, which is pretty easy. The decor here is modern and bright and the staff here are really friendly and cheerful. I had a lasagna on my second visit and honestly, it was absolutely wonderful. 5*

Excellent concept with fresh food options. Had grilled fish tacos that were great along with the chicken Mediterranean sandwich

I went with a a small group of people and we all ordered different things to eat , we all thought our own orders were the best, but we all agreed the Citrus Skinny Margarita was THE best!

Tried this healthy restaurant alternative for brunch and first observation was the signage reflected in the title of this review. With a renewed enthusiasm over our choice of locale, we decided to start with a variety of smoothies; all of which were tasty treats. Brunch entrees were twists of old favorites with a summer skillet including sweet potatoes and broccolini, etc. Low carb choices abound with a number of vegetarian options available. Portion size was perfect..... one felt full without overeating. The ambiance was bright and modern with high top rectangular tables in the bar area offering alternative seating if one hasn’t madd a reservation. Located near the Galleria mall, free parking was an appreciated touch as well. Will go back!

This was my fifth visit to this restaurant. Food was great as usual, but the two servers who were helping us were terrible. Not only did it take them long to bring the dishes, but the appetizer was brought at the end. Then they left the check without asking if we wanted dessert and as they didn’t come back for a while, we had to order from another waitress. Then, we asked for coffee but it was cold. They apologized and made a fresh pot that took 20 minutes.. This was at 3:00 pm on Saturday. Not at a peak hour... very frustrating

A healthy dinner without sacrificing flavor, ambience, or alcohol. Our table of 5 thoroughly enjoyed True Foods ! The concept is VERY well executed!! The restaurant still feels hip and like a place to be. I loved Super clean / healthy foodie vibe. Our waitress did a fantastic job sharing the concept of the restaurant, educating the table on the founder & the menu. Our group of 5 ladies shared 5 dishes & desserts and left very satisfied & not hungry. I was impressed by the wine selection too !

Located in the trendy area of post oak blvd, from outside it does not show its depth in the variety it can offer. As you enter inside, it gives the feeling you are at the right place to have a great time. All recipes are made keeping in view to be healthy, it caters to all tastes. Only issue is you cannot eat all of them in one visit. And you decide, "yes, I will come again ! Can't miss the rest". Unlike the places where you have to search for something truly vegetarian, this restaurant has so many options that can be turned into a vegetarian dish. The martini/margarita options are something that makes you ask for one of each. Try grapefruit and vodka first and move down the menu one by one (if you handle the mix ups) !! It's a great place to spend the weekend evenings with friends and family. That's for sure from the crowd you see around you. Quick service with friendly smile that handles the entire place is a hallmark and something one should appreciate, and which you do not get in many restaurants.

Wow, I just converted to an all plant diet and was I ever positively surprised by this place. Great decor, Great Service, Food is plentiful and excellent, We started with the edamame dumplings, just delicious along with Vegan Sausage burrito for my wife and Quinoa johnny cakes for moi, all excellent washed down with Roibos tea which I could drink by the bucket, Hurry over and experience your Vegan meal. These damn Vegans are onto something...............

Houston has great food, but one thing I always feel it lacks is super fresh and healthy food. True Food Kitchen is that place with some of the best options that don't sound boring and taste absolutely fantastic. The margaritas are so yummy and so fresh and so light in any sweetener it feels so good. The Kale salad is to die for, and with steak added on top is my favorite meal in Houston for brunch. I mean come on, if I ate that every day I'd be in great shape and super happy. The Cauliflower and Miso Glazed eggplant vegetable dishes are soooo good and so filling actually. I would get them again and again just because they are unique and fresh.

At first I didn't love love love this place..now I do. They let you order half bowls of various things.Oh my..how good is that? I never ordered the Crudites..sounds bad doesn't it..but its not...its wonderful. How do they take Romaine, radishes, tomatoes and string beans and make it so good? I don't know, but I could easily make a meal of it. Forgot to take a picture.Sorry..you will just have to go and see for yourself.

A nice setting. Muted colors. Soothing, with outside seating available as well The service is friendly and unhurried. A full bar is available, but the aim is is for healthy options. There are soups, many salads, bowls, pizzas, sandwiches and burgers. Many gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options are available. We had several dishes. Two of us loved our quinoa salads, served with tasty greens, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, green beans, feta and a garlic vinaigrette dressing. The egg and potato salad was also a hit, as were the turkey sandwich and the grass fed burger. We will return.

Excellent curry. Well executed spaghetti squash. Delectable fruit crumbles. Refreshing and fresh juices. Great casual place to eat a solid meal without feeling like you misbehaved.

True Food Kitchen has something for everyone. Great selection of vegetarian, and interesting dishes - prepared healthy. Recommend the kale guacamole and the lasagna.

Food was really flavorful; I had the chili noodles with vegetables- very yummy but wish there was a bit more noodles to the dish. My sister had the pan-ang curry dish, it was very flavorful but a tad spicy, she added shrimp to it and it was complimented well. For desert we had the Apple crumble and squash pie, the crumble was the better desert out of the 2 personally. We will be back!

I used to love going to True food Pre Covid ... I'm from overseas and haven't been there for over 2 1/2 years. It is usually a restaurant I visit frequently. On my visit last week the staff were very unfriendly almost rude. The meal, usually my favorite, was overcooked and when the waitress popped down my plate, it was so hot I had to use my serviette to position it in front of me . A very disappointing experience. This is the first ever time I have given a negative review.

The edamame dumplings were so good but I feel they are over priced. The other food was good but also over priced which is expected when eating in uptown area.

We were intrigued with this place based upon the reviews. The food was a good as we expected; fresh, beautifully presented with lot of choices. The wine list exceeded expectations, with a sample of the Viongier cheerfully given--and immediately ordered. We had fish and a curry. Yum! We'll be back

My wife and I eat here three or four times a month and the food is always solid with a good choice of healthy options. Some of my favorites are the Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta, Wild Caught Albacore Tataki, and the Scottish Steelhead Salmon. I also like the tacos but I get them made with their chicken sausage rather than steak or fish. Their dessert menu is not huge but has a nice selection. My wife is gluten and dairy free and they have several gluten and dairy free items and are very accommodating on altering things. There menu is clearly marked to show vegan, vegetarian and gluten free items. Usually we find the service quite good with intelligent friendly wait staff and a flexible kitchen. Today however they struggled. My wife ordered the Mediterranean Quinoa salad with the addition of well-done steelhead salmon. They got the salad part right but forgot the salmon. Not a huge deal but it took forever for them to get the salmon out and then it was not cooked well done and my wife had to send it back to have it cooked some more. She then ordered an almond milk cappuccino withe extra almond milk. It came with the milk stirred in and not frothed like a normal cappuccino. Again generally the service is much better so we are assuming that tonight was just an off night.

I love the food here, and tried 2 of the seasonal bowls on Saturday (a friend and I shared). Both were delish! Mine as Polenta, and hers was the Korean Noodle - yummy! And if you haven't tried the Charred Cauliflower - DO IT ASAP!

I am in love with this place! I ordered chopped salad with added shrimp for protein with vinaigrette dressing and it was amazing! My husband ordered

First time at a True Foods and it was great. The selection was great and they had several vegan/vegetarian options. Something for everyone. We sat outside and it was beautiful.

9/10 food, staff, decor. Will come back for sure. Pizza was nice, salads good and generous portions, teas, cocktails. My only set back was that I order a particular type of tea, the waiter brought it, I had a couple of sips and then he came back, told me it was the wrong order and took it away to place it in another table. I think just shows waiters need a bit more training.

Service was bad: There were three waiters that kept talking to each other while there tables just stared at them, including mine and we waited for about 20min for our drink order to be taken. The food was not satisfying: pizza was hard and black...my lemonade was mostly water with ice and a couple of lemons, not sweet at all... Things aren't always what they appear to be, don't let the overrated description of the food and ingredients fool you, the place may look nice but that's about it...

I have been to this place about 3 times, the food is good and it has a nice sustainability concept. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I think some of the menu options could be a bit on the pricey side.

Have been here for breakfast/brunch a few times. Food and service are consistently good. The food is on the organic healthier side compared to most places you might eat breakfast. Great location and very clean. Due to it's open concept it can be a little on the noisy side, so if you are looking for a quiet place I would not recommend. The people watching is fantastic due to its' location. You can't go wrong here.

We just had lunch at this restaurant. What a great experience! The ambiance is “fresh” and the food is even fresher. Amazing fresh food combinations and taste and the presentation is great too. You feel “healthy” eating here. And surprisingly the prices are decent.

Total disclosure, I reviewed TFK about a year ago. I have returned several times since that first review, and thought A follow up note was in order. In 6 of 8 visits I experienced the same great service and food quality of that first time. Even through the periodic staff and menu changes, this restaurant has been consistently great. What I think deserves extra mention though, is their willingness to accommodate single diners, not just the single bar crowd. There are plenty of places in Houston that won't seat you at a table if you are by yourself. They prefer you sit in the bar, or at most at a two-top. If there is only a four-top available, they tell you to wait. While I understand their thinking, I find it personally insulting, and never return to those spots. There are LOTS of us single folks out here, and we spend quite a bit on dining out. There are also LOTS of restaurants, and competition is stiff. I am thankful True Foods appreciates me as a customer and will continue to be a repeat customer. Thanks!

The wide variety of both meat, seafood & vegan/vegetarian dishes is a welcome delight. The grilled red fish & the salads are uniquely prepared and delicious. I love sitting on the patio & relaxing with nice glass of wine and good conversation.

We visited this restaurant for Restaurant Weeks to support the Houston Food Bank and because we had heard how healthy everything was. Everything we heard was true! Our group got a variety of foods and many dishes were large enough to be shared. The humus was the freshest I had ever tasted and plenty for the table. Upon request, we were brought extra pita bread for everyone to sample. The best entree seemed to be a delightful margarita pizza with some amazing truffle feta cheese that was amazing. After commenting on it our server explained to us what she thought the secret to making it was and got someone from the kitchen who actually brought us a little of the ingredient to bring home to try to make it ourselves. Wonderful food and service. We will definitely head back.

First time at this location and love the varied menu that can accommodate any diet. Was also possible to get half order of appetizer which was great being solo. Lunch was delicious and prices decent. For a healthy brunch lunch or dinner I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great food, really healthy... I really enjoyed my business lunch here. I'll definitely attend more business meetings at this location.

Near the shopping heart of Houston, it's location is convenient to visit after shopping. The place has the industrial look, with the consequence that it is noisy. For couples it's ok, but for larger groups my recommendation would be to sit outside. The food is healthy... and that goes for the appetizers and the entrees. You have to choose the combination carefully, so the there is sufficient variety in the taste. This time (winter season) our selection of appetizer and main had a lot of the same ingredients, that resulted in a bit boring meal.

I am gluten free so when I discovered True Food Kitchen I was in heaven. Their flourless chocolate cake is sooooo good! And they have a fabulous range of raw juices. If you are health conscious this is a must! Their menu is based off Andrew Weils Anti-Inflammatory Pyramid, great service! Park underneath wholefoods you will find a park easier! or you can always valet

So the food was really good I must say - tuna poke, wild mushroom pizza, red chili noodle bowl. Very sweet young waitress who disappeared for long stretches at a time - showed up after our entrees were served and we had pretty much finished them to see if everything was ok - my husband asked if I still wanted a glass of wine and I said, "well I did but not now that we are almost finished", to which her response was "so everything is good then" ... really?! Totally worth it for the food but they clearly don't hire for professional.

The food is delicious. I had taco's and my Mum had the Mushroom and Cheese pizza, they were both very yummy. Our server was very friendly and the drinks they do are very interesting, Honey Lemonade is really sweet and tasty. The atmosphere was really nice and buzzing, great place for a nice healthy lunch.

Everything here is great! From the drinks to the meals. We each order something different, that way we can all try the menu selections. Everything is fantastic, fresh, wonderful! Love this place!

It wasn't that long ago that Houston restaurants catered primarily to meat and potato carnivores or southern comfort food addicts, and you couldn't even trust that your salad wasn't harboring hundreds of extra hidden calories, so I couldn't be more pleased to have access to a True Food Kitchen. The menu is extensive and has plenty of vegetarian and vegan options to choose from.

This was my third visit. Took my mom sis and 12 year old for Mother’s Day brunch. Once again exceptional food and service. The setting is relaxing and non fussy. The staff is polite and fun- our waiter had bright pink hair very cool. We had four different t entrees the quinoa pancake the ancient grains bowl the avocado toast and the ranch style eggs. All were amazing as where the honey lemonade and mimosas.

Amazing brunch spot, the brunch tower was so delicious and had something for everyone in our party! We cannot wait to go back and try dinner next time.

Enjoy eating at True Foos Kitchen. The food is creatively prepared, using fresh delicious vegetables. My favorites are the Chopped Chicken Salad, dumplings and the Red Chili Shrimp and Noodles. The staff is friendly, providing excellent service. Love the new t-shirts!

Every time I am here it is a great experience. The food is always incredible and the atmosphere is exceptional! Favorite place to stop in Houston for Lunch or Dinner.

My wife and I, both experienced excellently prepared vegetarian entrees at your downtown Houston location. Hostess/server, Finesse, was very accommodating and professional. The menus has a good variety of vegetarian options, as well as diverse beverage list. Excellent option for vegetarians. Visiting in Houston and will dine again at your Woodlands location.

for a healthy food place I was astounded or perhaps I just ordered tragically. I ordered a turkey burger which was glistening with grease and every now and then a taste of fish-not in a good way--the sweet potatoes were too salty to eat--my nearly full plate went unrecognized by the waitress who merely picked it up--it was crowded and after a wait and a hefty 6 dollars to park it was not a good thing. Others seem to like it, go figure.

Tru Foods has excellent and flavorful healthy food choices. The “bowl” dishes are tasty and done nicely, but the menu provides a nice mix of food type options. It is a nice stop in the Galleria/Post Oak Blvd area. Reservations are preferred as it can get quite busy during lunch and dinner. A parking garage is in the back or valet parking is offered.

Looking for something different and healthier to eat? Tired of the same food? Tired of filling fat and guilty after lunch? Try True Food Kitchen in Houston if you ever in the area, they service is good and polite and the food is amazing!!! Parking is tricky thou... The place if very clean and spacious, time to serve is fast and you can tell is freshly made!

Refreshing drinks -- honey lemon with green tea (called Matcha) was delightful. Loved the squash soup -- no added sugar. I had the lasagna bolognese -- made with chicken sausage and spinach. Hot the spot for lunch. My colleague had the squash pizza with kale and ricotta cheese, which she enjoyed -- thin crust pizza, which i will try next visit. Only draw back was the restaurant was loud for talking business.

Granted that we didn't try every dishes, we can't judge much. But as far as we can tell, this is a trendy thing—healthy food gimmick. Food is good and ordinary. Drinks are much better. Both dishes—Teriyaki bowl and Spicy Shrimp Noodle—were very salty, enough for us to know that this wasn't healthy. The smoked salmon ( is not any better than what I make at home. Consomme is average. They use healthy and fresh ingredient: brown rice, quinoa, greens, edamame, tofu, etc. So if you buy into the idea, it's a happy meal. We felt it's an ordinary eatery but glad that we tried. Price is higher than you would expect for a normal lunch but understand that it's on a prime location with expensive people and expensive neighbourhood. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace, comfortable and attentive staff. They need to time the dishes better. Our entrees came out while we were still working on the shared breakfast, which caused us to feel oblige to finish the first dish fast in order for the entrees not to get cold.

We have been here a few times. Love the tasty & healthy food selection. The staff were very attentive. Fully recommended if you’re looking for a quick and healthy bite.

I was here for lunch. Food is all made with very healthy ingredients. I would certainly recommend it to anyone

True Food serves a wide array of healthy, flavorful dishes that are satisfying and also wholesome. Their offerings are quite creative as well and stand out compared to most restaurants serving healthy, trendy dishes. There is something for everyone on the menu, from light salads to hearty, filling entrees.

We have been numerous times over the years. We noticed a considerable change in the service and food. It was not good.

Fresh and unprocessed Ancient grains with veggies: snow peas, sweet potatoes, added chicken with a delicious sauce. Menu is full of pure foods without excessive processing or additives. It appears as though you can find a delicate balance or Spicy explosion of flavors.

Fresh food choices for everyone's tastes. Excellent soups, salads, and vegetables. Some meats such as turkey, too. Good service in a casual atmosphere.

We have been around the True Food Kitchen several times but never in yet. First time yesterday for late lunch. Really good service thank you Ashley! Food was very tasty, a bit too much cheese on the zucchini spaghetti. Pizza Margarita very good. The menu is small we would wish to have more choice, a couple of dishes more and or daily specials. And more wines under 40 $ would be nice. All in all definitely worth a visit even if you are not Vegan nor Vegetarian.

Very good food, great for a date, for a business lunch or friends hanging out. Good clean eating with wonderful flavors and creative cooking.

Took my young kids for dinner and Riley was great with all of our extras, changes, spilled drinks! Kids loved it, I loved it. Ken the manager was lovely, gave us free dessert :) Definitely will be back soon!

First time visiting was blown away and every visit since has proven better. Staff is friendly and helpful, service is great and the food is very fresh and healthy

Service was very prompt as I dined a little earlier than normal. Tonight I had a glass of Proseco, the small Crudite salad, Chicken and Sausage pizza, and Chia pudding. The wine was fresh and crisp. Can't go wrong with a Proseco ($9). I had no idea what to expect with the salad. It was marvelous. Cold, crisp veggies and slices of the biggest raddish that I have ever seen. Bib, lettuce, green beans and a long thin veggie I am not familiar with. The pizza was very good. I am not big on thin crust but it was very flavorful. Also decided to try the chia pudding with bananas. Strange item but it was good. All in all I was quite pleased.

We have enjoyed several meals here and highly recommend True Food Kitchen. Their menu offers creative, delicious, healthy options. The service is great, too. We also like the juices and other beverage options. This is a popular spot, so great plan to make a reservation before you arrive.

Before we were ready to order, an orange Lamborghini was parked in front of the restaurant, establishing a typical Houston Galleria picture. Cocktails seemed exclusive but did hardly contain any alcohol .... lots of ice and few pieces of fruit($11 and up). Food was mediocre and they tried to add exclusivity by throwing some( very cheap) kale over the plate .... Service was ok but these people were not able to add any class to the experience. Very expensive for the quality of food offered (and parking fees), so never again! I’d rather chose for comfy places in City Center or Katy with good price/ quality ratio .... Pity, in the early 2000’s I looked forward to eat in the Galleria area, this completely faded.... Hans Wagner

Nice place for a light & nutritious bite any time of the day. Straight forward menu & good service in a nice setting. Recommended

I came on a Friday night and there was a good crowd. I was able to get a seat at the end of the bar. I had a dirty martini and chicken curry. The curry chicken dish was amazing. The waitstaff was extremely helpful and nice!

I was looking for a vegetarian meal on this site and this restaurant was presented as a highly recommended place. I had the grilled cauliflower starter -amazing. Followed by the Salmon dish - perfectly cooked and amazing. Then I had the flour free chocolate cake with the vegan vanilla ice cream for desert and of course - Amazing ! Side note - everyone visiting the restaurant having dinner looked healthy and happy. Great atmosphere. A must visit.

I went there several times with who are super cosious about foods. All of them were really enjoyed the meals. My favorite is Teriyaki Quinoa bowl! Been eating quino is sometime too healty. But the one is real meal and very satidfied.

Food was very fresh. Staff was good. Menu had changed a little since we were there. Fresh ingredients are used.
Average meal in a Vibrant restaurant
If only the food was as good as the location and "Cool" factor. We had two Vegans with us who really enjoyed their offerings but my wife and I had a Marguerite pizza and lasagna, respectively. After the edamame dumpling appetizer and the meal, we can only say that nothing about it was very flavorful except the decadent chocolate and Ice cream dessert. My pizza had no flavor and the lasagna was a bit better. Not a very exciting experience.
