Wonderful lunch.

By Mary T |

I had arrived early to meet some friends for an event at the Art Museum. I suddenly realized I was hungry. well, I have always enjoyed the 1280 restaurant. So, headed over. Was greeted by a friendly gentlemen who escourted me to a table that allowed me to stash my rolling walker AND look out the window while watching for my friends. Today, I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with s side of fresh fruit. The chicken salad was loaded with tender chunks of chicken, celery and grapes. Piled HIGH on a home made crossaint. The only downside was that he fruit cup was over 50% honey dew melon that could have been a bit more ripe.

Excellent Contemporary Experience

By ttbryan1 |

My husband and I came here for Valentine's Day, mainly because we were going to see a show at the Woodruff Arts Center. We knew it was there, but did not know anything about it, beforehand. We were pleasantly surprised at the excellent service and food. We walked in and were promptly seated. The place is very contemporary, clean and simple. We started with the Designer "Trio" Dip, consisting of olive tapenade, hummus and pimento cheese dips with pita bread, zucchini and squash sticks. It was excellent, but the olive tapendae was a bit strong, if you are not into olives. Also, we started with some red wine, the Chateau St. Jean Pinot, which was excellent. For my entree, I had the seared shrimp and scallops with grits and it was excellent. My husband had the grilled center cut fillet with with asparagus, which he enjoyed. For dessert, we had the chocolate molten cake and the creme brulee, which were both so delicious. Everything from start to finish was so good. It is a great place for a romantic evening or small group. The prices were fine, too.

I hoped they changed wait staff

Tired cheese tray with a couple pieces of fruit.Meh.The waitress was more tired than the cheese tray.

No wonder you have to wait for a table.. service so slow.

By Robert v |

After a pleasant visit to High Museum we stopped at 1280. It was after lunch (1:30) and I was surprised when host told us it was 25 minute wait for a table. We waited in the bar area. After 40 Mins host returned to tell us it was still 10 mins. so we decide to stay at our bar table and order. Same menu etc.. was surprised no one mentioned we could eat there. food was ok. cuban sandwich, lobster roll and grilled chix. french fries arrived as we had the last bite of our meal. We never did get the ketchup. Skip this place.. there are alot of way better lunch places nearby.

Slow service, too many waiters

By doctouradvisor |

This place sells as upscale. However, the wait is too long for a simple meal before a show. I practically had to beg for ketchup & the check. I would not go to eat here before a show. They take way too long. They never refilled our drinks.

Always to perfect spot before seeing a show next door !

By Lori H |

This is my 3rd or 4th time eating here b4 a show and again it didn't disappoint. It would be good even if not going to the museum or show but if you are it is the only place to go for sure. It is next door/on property, the food is delicious, they are quick and serviced well. The food and service as well as location is the perfect reason to make reservations here and call it a day!

If You are Going to be That Snooty You Should at Least Have the Food to Back it Up.

By Steven C |

If you are going to be that snooty you should at least have the food to back it up. My family an I stopped in for lunch because this place was next to the museum. The hostess looked at us like we just put s**t in her hand and told her to clap. The waiter seemed like he was bothered to take our order. The food was not good. Two of our party had the mushroom flatbread. The mushrooms tasted bitter and dirty. The four-cheese flatbread tasted like a bargain pizza from a gas station. The only one of our party who liked their meal had the club sandwich and rated it as "okay." That was the best of the lot. Our bill was over a hundred dollars. We will not be going back.

Fabulous food, great value!

By lindasU6587ZP |

Wether you are visiting the High Museum or not this is a must try food experience. Light, bright and modern serves farm to table with elegance and grace! Greeted as soon as you enter you can sit at the bar or be seated by a host in the dining room. Extensive wine selection, great price points. Also creative mixed drinks. The menu includes appetizers/small plates, soup of the day, salads you can add chicken, salmon or shrimp, sandwiches, entrees/Peachtree favorites. Service is excellent! Food is very fresh, presentation is beautiful, taste is scrumptious. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. My husband ordered the soup of the day, Italian Wedding, I feared he might lick the bowl it was that good. We both ordered salads Seared Ahi Tuna Niciose $15, Twelve Eight Peachtree $8 plus grilled Salmon $8. Both are a nice portion. The fish was grilled to perfection. We declined dessert which are made in house and chose coffee instead. This was such a nice pause in our tour of the museum. A great way to reset for the rest of the day. We will return.

No room

By Kerry H |

Dining room closed on Friday evening and bar packed. I would have liked to eaten there, but not off my lap between strangers.

Good food and great service

By MissM54313 |

I had the chicken salad sandwich, which was very yummy. I liked that the waiters all called me "love." I think they must be trained to do that and it gives a nice feeling. The restaurant is lovely--even the restrooms! If you go in the winter, there is a place near the entrance to hang your coat.

Cuisine is 4 star, service on loan from Burger King

By Robert N |

The Crab cakes were tasty-not too fishy with a hip presentation. Mushroom something-or-other was also good. The kids running the place were all jibber-jabber when we walked in....3 hostesses looked at me wondering what I wanted. The service was quick and mediocre but not what I expected for a semi-fancy restaurant in an art museum.

Lots of upscale organic and gluten-free choices

By Helen711 |

Ate dinner with a friend here before the symphony. In addition to meat and fish, they also have vegetarian choices, including a black bean burger. The salmon I had was filling and delicious.

Nice hidden dining spot

By davegiraffe19103 |

Many people do not know about this place, it is hidden and not very well advertised. But the food is nice and a good place to have dinner before a concert. Their food is mainly casual american. Would go again.

Superb food conveniently located

By Patricia F |

I just became a member of The High Museum of Art. I made a visit to the museum and was seeking a convenient place for lunch-immediately across the courtyard, I found this place. Light and quiet; pleasing surroundings. I ordered a cup of vegetable soup-it was tasty and comforting. Next I had the house garden salad topped with salmon. The green were mixed, sprinkled in were sunflower seeds, feta, grilled tomatoes-The salmon was grilled to perfection. It was juicy and had a beautiful caramelized crust. Every bite was delicious. Can't wait to return!!

Fun, hip

By EasternShore G |

Twelve Eighty is a fun, hip restaurant with artisanal mixed drinks and cutting-edge modern decor. The staff is very professional, although wait times can be long.

Not a quick meal, but a good one

By Howie |

Located adjacent to the Woodruff Arts Center, this restaurant has a good menu, fine food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Our server was very nice, but I think she might have been the only one for the room. 'Nuff said? Yes, it's slow, but that also means it allowed a leisurely lunch on a day when I had the time for such a luxury. The bottom line is that food is surprisingly good.

Great Music, Food and Service

By Michael V |

I had visited the Campus here several times while attending plays at the Alliance Theatre. I had seen this restaurant - but never experienced it. Large open space - great view of the High Museum. They have outside table seating. The restaurant is very relaxing and the perfect getaway from the busy lives we live. I was greeted upon arrival - we sat at a table with an excellent view of the campus. The server Jordan - was right there - very knowledgeable and friendly. He commented on the specials that were offered. The service was right on it. I had a sweet tea, ordered the steakhouse burger with fries. It was cooked as I requested - had no bread with swiss cheese. They make their own steak sauce - very good. The food was exceptional - not your average food. I met a colleague there - she had Baja Taco with the mixed vegetables - she said it was very good. All in all a great lunch experience - I will be back here - also the prices are reasonable. I was inspired as I left here. The Woodruff Arts Center is located in this area as well.

Amazing dining experience!!!

By 678karlaw |

What an excellent place to have dinner before going to the symphony, visiting the High or going to a play. Everything was delicious. The fried green tomato appetizer was delicious. I got the grouper and my husband got the salmon, both were very flavorful and absolutely beautifully presented. Try to bourbon brownie ice cream for dessert....to die for! The service was spot on and very gracious. So convenient. The only flaw is the noise level. When it gets closer to show time and more folks gather, the volume increases because there is no sound proofing in the entire room. Not a reason not to try this little gem!

Fun and elegant restaurant at the High Museum

By BrunoHoke |

We visited the High Museum and then came here for dinner. The salads were excellent and very large. I had the mussels, which were delicious. Be sure and try the desserts

Convenient to arts center

By HappySun F |

As mentioned in other reviews slow service and average food. Erica was plesant but hard to find. She obviously had tables in the Restaurant and the bar areas. Steak was melt in you mouth and cognac sauce with mushrooms was delicious.

Excellent food and service

By DRPETE24 |

We thoroughly enjoyed lunch at the 1280. Very clean, modern decor with some interesting art works on the walls. The flatbread pizza was excellent. The heirloom tomato salad was delicious. Lots of compliments for the seared salmon. I enjoyed the lobster roll with kettle chips. We even split a berry cake for dessert. Anytime we go to the High Museum we will make a reservation at 1280. Loved it!!!

Fancy food at the High Museum of Art

By Bruce B |

We visited the High yesterday and ate lunch at their restaurant- Table 1280. Food was well prepared and service excellent. Good lunch menu with a good variety of choices. One of my friends ordered the scallops. They were presented well though a bit pricy ($16 for three large ones). I ordered a chicken sandwich which was excellent. Salads are good and fresh. I would definitely eat here on another visit. Atmosphere is nice with one long wall being a fluorescent light installation. Waiter was really good, knowledgable and attentive, and very pleasant.

Accommodated a group of 14

By Carrie B |

We made reservations for a group of 22 and had 14 actually attend. At first they wanted us to wait for the entire party, but after checking, went ahead and allowed us to be seated since we had the majority of the party there and were not sure if a few others would attend. They seated us in a room to ourselves and had a dedicated staff help us. They had a suggested menu but allowed us to order anything off the regular dining menu which made us very happy. The food was excellent, from scallops to steak to a burger to a maple glazed salmon (which is what I had, excellent!!). We were a little before the symphony crowd so I think that helped. Food was good, location was good, and staff was excellent.

great lunch

By JoanofArt |

Just across from High museum of art. Had a very excellent chicken salad on a croissant, fresh tasting with crunchy celery. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the sun, trees, breeze and people having fun on the red swings. It was restful as the terrace is away from any street traffic.

Hard to Find - DELICIOUS

By Luna-Kay |

It was difficult to find this restaurant. There's a sign on the side of the road, but the only restaurant you can see from the sign is something else (Octane, I think). If you keep walking down into the middle of the block, you'll find it. At most restaurants, I feel like there are really only a few options on the menu. But EVERYTHING looked good at this one. If I were a braver person, I would have asked them to just surprise me. The salmon that goes on salad is absolutely delicious. Possibly the best piece of salmon I've ever had. The sweet potato bites with marshmallow sauce - also outstanding! The only downside is that the portions are a little small for the price. But as a person that almost always leaves food behind, they were the perfect size for me. The bathroom faucets are weird. FYI, the men's and women's room have a big sink on a shared wall, and part of it is open between the two. There was a very startling moment where I (female) was trying to figure out where the sensor was to turn the water off when a man's hand mysteriously appeared from underneath the mirror to turn it off.

Food was good...service, not so much

By srmiller09 |

My husband and I decided at the last minute to see a play at the Alliance Theater after touring the Dream Cars exhibit at the High Museum. We needed to eat dinner but didn't have a lot of time, so we decided to dine at Table 1280. We had to wait almost 10 minutes before our server came and took our drink order. After taking our drink order (ice water), he said he had something he needed to do and told us that would give us time to look over the menu. Well, they were serving a limited menu that night anyway, so we didn't really need the length of time it took him to "do something." People who came in after us were receiving appetizers and salads before we even ordered. He finally came back to take our order. We ordered the macaroni & cheese as an appetizer. My husband ordered the sliders, and I ordered the shrimp tacos. The macaroni was one of the best I've ever eaten, and the shrimp tacos were delicious, as well. I'd eat here again but would hope to have better service next time.

Excellent Food - The BEST drinks

By Ronni S |

My mother and I were visiting my daughter who is a student at SCAD. After a wonderful outing to the High Museum we lunched at Table 1280. My daughter and I ordered a cocktail - The 1280 Signature - which was absolutely perfect. For lunch we had the veggie burger and handcut chips. I have never had such a delicious veggie burger in my life. All the ingredients were fresh and melded together for a palate pleasing heavenly taste. Our service was top notch.

Excellent Dinner, Excellent Atmosphere

By Melissa M |

We loved this restaurant and would highly recommend it. The food is very creative and fresh. Our server, Romulus, was exceptional and the manager walks around and inquires about your experience. We had the pepper dale pasta, the filet medallions, the wedge salad and the caramel apple cobbler. All were wonderful!!

Finally... A Great Meal With An Affordable Price!

By riffman1948 |

To be honest, Table 1280 is not in the best location. Unless you are going to the High Museum, The Alliance Theater, or the Symphony, chances are, you would not know this place even exists. That's too bad! Table 1280 is wonderful. It has a great menu, comfortable (a little sterile), environment and most important, delicious food AND price. My wife and I have been to Table 1280 about six times. In the beginning, it was nothing to speak of... a convenient place to eat before a show. In the last two years, it was purchased by the Woodruff Arts Center. Therefore, the menu changed and the food got good...REAL GOOD. This past Saturday, we went to the Alliance, to see a show (Steel Magnolias...not great) and had dinner at Table 1280. The service was very warm and cordial. We were immediately seated upon our arrival for a 6:30 reservation, and greeted our waitress. My wife and I split a Caesar Salad with incredible croutons (fried cubes of a mixture of cheese and grits). The salad was fine but not great. I had a vegetable, lentil soup that was hot and very tasty. We then ordered our main course. My wife had "steak frittes"(two small medallions of filet with thinly cut French fries...excellent. I ordered a boneless short rib over some veggies and a side of demi glace for a sauce...WOW! It was truly delicious, soft and tender and, with the side of demi glace, wonderful. Everything was served hot and prepared very nicely. The best thing is the price. This place could, very easily, get $5.00 more per entrée, but they do not "rake you over the coals" with high prices expected in this part of the city. All in all, Table 1280 is a very professional and excellent place to have dinner before any show, but, do yourself a favor, and go there because it is a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and VERY affordable prices. Enjoy!!!

Perfect before the symphony

By FrSu |

Food and service were great! A perfect place to eat before the symphony or the theatre . Menu is inviting and the food is tasty.

Mixed experience

By Rcdown78 |

Museum restaurants are often safe refuges for travlelers, providing decent food at decent prices in a decent time period. 1280 was ok on the first two, but it needs to work on the coordination between kitchen and wait staff, because that lack of coordination seriously detracted from the dining experience for us and other diners recently...and on a day where the restaurant was not overcrowded. 1280 seems to be top heavy in its staffing, with several manager types standing around doing not much of anything while waiters despair of getting dishes out of the kitchen, and customers languish. This place has promise...but the pseudo managers need to roll up their sleeves and deliver value...or get out of the way!

Great lunch and fun and friendly staff!

By AtlantaClaire |

I was a bit aprehensive after reading some reviews left here. We made reservations for 4 online and when we showed up about 10 minutes early, David (with some fantastic long curly hair!) was happy to seat us, thanking us for making reservations. Mariah was our server, she was quiet with bright eyes and an easy smile, quite friendly. She let us know the daily specials and took our orders promptly when we were ready. Mariah kept our glasses filled without being interruptive. The steak salad was to die for, the meat was perfectly cooked to medium as I had requested, salad greens were fresh, not a single wilted piece, even with the warm steak. Feta was not overpowering and the sugared nuts gave a nice contrast to the zippy dressing. Both the burger and the black bean burgers also got rave reviews from our group. Although there did not appear to be a cheese option either style of burger, Mariah explained that yes we could get cheese and offered several kinds. One of the best surprises was dessert. The chocolate torte was delectable and served with freshed sliced strawberries while the peach cake dessert disappeared in a few seconds, both desserts easily fed 2! While the wait for our meals might be considered a bit long, this was no fast food restaurant, and the time was well spent on preperation and presentation. The convienent location by the High museum and Alliance Theater, and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will have us returning frequently. Our reservations were for noon on a Sunday, by 12:30 the place was packed, so please make reservations if you want to eat here. We didn't order from the bar, but the employee who was mixing drinks had some great style in his shaking!

Terrible service and mediocre food

By Ladyoni |

Hubby & I ate here last night before the Whitney Houston tribute at symphony hall. If you don't have a reservation, they put you at high tables with other patrons. After we ordered, they sat someone next to me with super strong perfume (I'm allergic) and when I told them I couldn't sit there they said they can't ask her to move. I asked could I be moved instead and they said no, even though there were open tables that no one sat in the entire time we were there, so we just went outside. They messed up the order, the fries were so salty and burnt tasting we couldn't eat them, I had to go inside to get a refill of water and we were basically ignored. We had to ask 3 people to chase down our bill to pay. This is the kind of place you go to once and never again.

Perfect pairing

By Saye506 |

Perfect lunch spot to pair with a visit to the High Museum (or just for lunch or a drink!). Bright, clean, stylish...lots of glass windows for people-watching. You can stop in here for a drink and bar snacks before or after a museum tour, or go all out with a full lunch. Gracious and friendly staff, nicely focused menu. My wife and I stopped in after a museum visit on a hot summer day and enjoyed a couple of icy cold IPAs with the three-dip appetizer (hummus, tapenade, pimento cheese with toasted baguette and some fresh zucchini strips). We had a late breakfast, but were tempted by the full lunch menu.

Table 1280 Hits a High Note

By StockholmKindaGuy |

I stopped here for the first time after visiting the High museum. The clean modern interior is reflective of the Woodruff Arts Center it self. The jazz music playing was a welcomed touch. I sat at the bar and kept the bartender company. It was just her and I. The brief lunch menu offered a nice range of dishes. Some expected and some that weren't, including dishes for those who like to go the veggie route. I had Maple Bourbon Salmon with Sweet Potato, Pancetta, Baby Organic Shiitake Mushroom Caramelized Onion, Sautéed Spinach and Onion Strings. The Salmon was perfectly cooked and the glaze used was very flavorful. The vegetables were excellent as well. Finished the meal off with a very good Strawberry type of shortcake. Service couldn't have been better, thank you Lashan. We had a wonderful conversation to pass the time. Prices, as you might expect at a museum restaurant are a little on the higher side. Table 1280 is a very good museum restaurant. One note, the restaurant on it's sign mentions Tapas, but I thought the offering was a bit small and on the expensive side.

Upscale and contemporary

By Sharon1919 |

I love this restaurant. Part of the Arts Center complex in Atlanta. Good for special times out while visiting the High Museum of Art or before the Atlanta Symphony performs. Nice views of the Arts Center plaza. Friendly, professional wait staff. Entrees on the gourmet side, but reasonably priced for such a venue.

Very very good!

By MrLynnM128 |

The atmosphere great, server was excellent, food was fabulous. We will be going there again. Can’t wait.

Wonderful Lunch before the High Museum

By ScottOnRiver |

We did not have a reservation but were seated immediately. The atmosphere is classy, modern and yet we felt comfortable in jeans and shorts! I had the chicken & eggplant with a tomato bacon jam. It was DELICIOUS. My partner had the lobster roll and LOVED IT. The other couple both had the steak and gave it rave reviews. Our server was new and we couldn't tell! She was great. We were too full to have dessert but I would D love to return!

Better than it has been

By dotters |

I don't get the accolades - maybe we're just foodies, but this restaurant is just okay. Mind you, it's better than it used to be, but it really isn't anything special. Had a black and blue salad - steak, blue cheese dressing, etc. for lunch and it was fine, but certainly not that great. It was reasonably priced, so it has that...

Lovely restaurant, small portions

By Kari F |

We ate here on a Sunday. From looking at the menu out front, we were excited to go in. However we didn't realize until we were seated it was a limited brunch menu. Of our party of four, we had the chicken and waffles- probably the best of the four dishes, the shrimp tacos- ok, not the best I've had, ahi tuna salad- the tuna was over cooked, and the special flat bread- it was tiny! More an appetizer than an entree. Sides were extra and we were glad to have ordered both the fries and house cooked chips. However, both tasted less than fresh. The atmosphere was absolutely lovely. Very bright with a wall of glass over looking the courtyard. The wine bar looked appealing and the wine selection was good. We each had a glass with lunch. I would love to try this place again, just not for brunch.

Artful menu

By Ellen F |

After a lovely visit to the museum, we thought we'd try this restaurant, with the same clean lines and openness as the building. Super customer service, attentive wait staff, and locally sourced foods well prepared made for happy diners. The steak salad was done exactly as ordered and with pecans. What's Georgia without pecans? The hand cut fries smelled great, so those were a side and well worth the calories.

Now truly fine dining!

By RalphSchmitt |

My wife & I had dinner on Thursday night, November 12. We have been here quite a few times over 10+ years during visits to the High Museum, but our experiences have typically fallen somewhat short of truly fine dining. Not this time! We were delighted by the quality of ALL of our food, beginning with three different types of artisanal bread, to remarkably tasty beef slider appetizers in delectable dim sum dumpling "taco" shells, to a flavorful jumbo crab cake, to excellent maple salmon, to outstanding pan roasted wild mushrooms, to unusual lemon coriander crème brulee. Pinot grigio [by the glass], craft pale ale, & cappuccino were quite good as accompaniments to our food. Being able to buy all wines either by the glass or full bottle is a welcome improvement. Our server, Otis, was charming, helpful, & quietly efficient. Minor criticisms: ambiance is somewhat better than it was, but is still a bit antiseptic, too brightly lit, & noisy; tables for two near the windows are small, easily crowded with food/beverages, & arranged so a couple cannot sit on adjoining sides to watch the passing scene in the museum's courtyard; designer cocktails fell short of their exotic descriptions ("Woodruff G&T" & "Highkick Mule"). We will return many times.

Too many self-aware hosts....

By RussianBallerina |

We booked reservations as visitors to the ASO for the holidays. The space is large and cold and minimalistic. Several people stand around the host desk. Few wait on patrons. Our party flagged the waitress, left to find the waitress, RE-reminded the overstaffed host table that we had arrived... Everyone was nice and accommodating, once found and reminded. The food is OK.

Pleasasnt Lunch at Twelve Eighty

By N_and_R |

We had a casual lunch at Twelve Eighty during our recent visit to the High Museum of Art. The restaurant is located inside a separate building within the museum complex. We were there around 1 PM, and the place was relatively quiet. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The decor has a lot of white with some colorful accents. It appears very similar in theme to the art museum. When we sat down, we noticed that 3 out of 4 drinking glasses on the table were not clean. The waitstaff apologized to us about it before bringing us clean glasses. The menu (combined lunch/dinner menu??) had a lot of options, surprisingly so for a museum restaurant. The food was well prepared. However, we felt the service was rather uneven throughout. This is probably not one of the best choice for this price range, but it is probably the most convenient option during a visit to the High.

Light and bright, with wonderful menu offerings!

By CaFaHi |

We had dinner here before a show at the Alliance Theater (located in the same buidling). The food was delicious, the service was efficient and attentive, and the atmosphere was alive. A great place for lunch (which I've done before) or a light or heavier dinner choice before attending any one of several options here in Atlanta's premier art museum. Whether it is a play, opera, symphony or art exhibit you want to attend, you can always depend on Table 1280.

Great Pre-thaetre Sunday Brucnch

By drapap |

Reasonably priced, beautifully presented brunch buffet. All of the breakfast fixin's, including tasty stone ground cheese grits, plus carving station, and chicken and salmon dishes along with veggies. Ignore the bad reviews about poor service at lunch and dinner. Our server was friendly and there when we needed him.

Restaurant Twelve Eighty, where art and music are in the food.

By FirstEdition |

This bright and modern restaurant serves lunch and dinner on the campus of Atlanta's arts complex on Peachtree Street in Midtown. It's adjacent to Symphony Hall, the Alliance Theater and Hertz Stage, and the High Museum of Art.

Horrible Service

By Dennis B |

It’s been a while since I have eaten here. The decor has not changed much in the last eight years and its modern all white interior and exterior is a nice compliment to the High Museum (of which this restaurant is a part). The entrance (both of them) were very dirty. There was a build-up of dirt, mold, mildew and green algae around the entrance. It’s obvious they don’t clean around the doors daily or either monthly. We arrived at about 1:30 for lunch on a Saturday. There were about 3 groups in line and everyone was told it would be about a 15 minute wait. We went to the bar and had a glass of wine while we waited. I noticed that hardly anyone was exiting the dining room and was worried that our wait would be extended, but about 15 minutes after we checked in we were taken to a half empty dining room. There was no obvious reason why there would be any wait for a table as there were ample empty tables. The couple that arrived about 5 minutes after us likewise was seated about 5 minutes after we were seated. It appears that they simply make everyone wait. This is a huge turnoff. Our server took about 10 minutes to come to the table and explain the menu at which time we ordered – 2 sandwiches and 1 salad with chicken and shrimp. We each ordered another glass of wine. Our drinks arrived about 15 minutes later and our food arrived about forty minutes later. After we were finished it took quite some time to get the check and then quite some time for our server to run the credit card and return with the receipt to sign. My first though during the wait process was that they were shorthanded, but there were ample wait staff for the number of tables. In addition they have an open kitchen and there were ample kitchen staff for the number of patrons as well. The food itself was good. Not wonderful (but this was basic food), but good. The serving size was ample and appropriately priced. But after waiting so long, it probably seemed to taste better than it actually did. Because of the service issue I would be reluctant to go here again.

Disappointing Experience

By Carroll B |

Have tried this restaurant off and on when visiting the High Museum. Had lunch with out of town guests there on August 4. We were seated in the bar area. Our orders were placed timely. After about fifteen minutes the waiter said our food would be out shortly. After another 10 minutes I asked the manager if he could check on our order. He never returned to our table and the waiter never apologized for the delay. In the future, we most likely will seek other restaurants when in this area.

Not Bad

By Top5Jamaica |

Prices are decent, food not 'OMG level', presentation is a bit off but taste not bad at all. Service was great, very friendly server.

High cuisine at the HIgh Art Museum

By Road_Warrior32034 |

After enjoying a special exhibit at the High Museum of Art much past the normal lunch time, we happened upon the TwelveEighty and decided to have a very late lunch there. We found a brightly lit dining room with tabes for two, four and five all with modern, but comfortable chairs. We were politely greeted by Jordan who poured our waters while he told us about the specials of the day before leaving us to examine the menu. There was an easy-to-listen-to version of jazz playing as dining music. There was a touch of art on the back wall in the form of an array of mirrored semi spheres. We ordered their Bulgogi Beef Steamed Buns for the table, and they arrived in a timely fashion. Jordan then took our orders (with special requests) for two Grilled Salmon and a Great West Bison Burger. The presentation of the plates was nicely done. From the first byte of the salmon, I knew we had chosen well. We were not wild about the sides it was offered with, but the salmon was a solid winner. The sample taste of the burger was a little well done for my tastes, but my daughter enjoyed it. It was a great place to sit down and treat our sense of taste after a day of saturating our visual senses at the High Museum of Art. Jordan provided a perfect balance of professional service and attention to our needs, without being one of those helicopter waiters.

A nice restaurant after some culture!

By Asolare95 |

I was standing at the hostess stand waiting to be seated and out pops Tony from the bar. He said if I would like to be seated right away, he would be more than happy to accommodate me at the bar. I took him up on his offer. Although I didn't order any cocktails, he was helpful in meeting my dietary restrictions and lunch was wonderful. I had a spinach salad with grilled shrimp and a side of the seasonal vegetables. Everything was fresh and tasty. And Tony made my lunch even more enjoyable. Definitely don't skip this restaurant just because it is near the museum. Give it a try and I think you will be happy you did!

We thought this place would be great for drinks and apps before a show at the Alliance - wrong - they forgot the food and when brought to their attention there was absolutely no concern. Next play - different place for drinks and apps.

Elegant Experience with Delicious Food

By happyrelaxeddudes |

Whilst visiting the Museum, my friend and I decided not to dine with the screaming excited children in the museum cafe and find an "adult" venue. Twelve Eighty is just that. The food is gorgeous. Indeed I had a flatbread pizza with steak and avocado that was almost too pretty to eat. The wine selection is lovely. The wait staff is attentive, accommodating and friendly. But, save room for the peach cake--a house speciality ordered by President Clinton whenever he comes to town.

Nice Surprise after the museum!

By Ronwu1 |

We stopped in after seeing Yayoi Kusama's infinity mirror exhibition. It was a nice surprise. We had mushroom toast and fried cauliflower for an appetizer. They were very nice. The entree are large so fortunately my wife and I split the seafood pasta. My daughter had the chicken stack, it was a lot of chicken. We ended up taking some home. My son had the lamb chops. They were a bit over sauced, but easily taken care of by removing it and just eating a little bit as you go. The chops were cooked medium rare and we asked for medium, but they were still delicious. The pasta was cooked al dente, very nice. The pricing was reasonable as well. They could improve on their wine list I think, but a good selection of North American wine. So in the end, a nice pleasant finish to our trip to he museum.

A Great Experience

By GunnerGirl425 |

I and a friend had the pleasure of dining at Twelve Eight on Friday, January 4, 2019. We ordered their Calamari and their Chicken Stack…OMG, both were outstanding! And our server, India was wonderful, so attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are planning a visit to the ASO, or the High Museum.

Pleasant Sunday lunch before visit to The High

By 4ForAll |

We had a light sandwich lunch with side dishes - all excellent - one of the people I was with spilled her water all over the table - within seconds there were three employees at the table with towels. Thank you! Directly across courtyard from museum entrance.

Wonderful Pre-symphony Spot

Located in the High Museum complex, this modern little restaurant serves good food and drinks. Some High Museum members get a discount with their cards.

Excellent Beginning to the Evening

By Tony M |

Our first visit to Table 1280 was great fun! Deciding to finally dine here prior to the Atlanta Symphony, we were seated in the "front" seating area next to the window. Servers, we had several people attending to our needs, were gracious and anxious for our visit to be pleasant and fast enough, but not hurried, to assure we would not be late for the concert. The restaurant is located in the Woodruff Arts Center between the High Museum and the Alliance Theater/Atlanta Symphony building and next to the parking lot elevator. Perfect location for arriving and parking early to avoid the last minute crush and then relaxing over a fine meal prior to the main event. The meal opened with a basket of breads. All were good, but the small, golden colored muffins were fabulous. The wife ordered the Maple Salmon while I tried the Farmer Vegetables Farro. The salmon was very good. The farro was superb! Fries and roasted mushrooms were our selected sides. Both were very good. We tried a Czech beer (pilsner urquel) and a Riesling wine. Both complimented the meals for which they were selected. The beer reminded me of a strong Blue Moon. Tasty. For dessert, we splurged. The chocolate lover ordered the mousse cake. Feeling seasonal, I selected the pumpkin cheese cake. Either one would have been sufficient for the two of us, especially the mousse. It was extremely rich and even the chocoholic had to abandon part of it. The cheesecake was devoured with nary a crumb remaining. Excellent experience. Reservations can be made online.

Excellent food, service, & ambiance at the bar for lunch

By RalphSchmitt |

My wife & I usually eat inside the restaurant for lunch or dinner at Table 1260 when we visit the High Museum. But on Tuesday 3/22 - a beautiful, warm, sunny, spring day - we decided to have lunch seated at the bar, which is in a small room that juts out into the open, park-like area in front of the museum. The bar has windows on three sides, which floods the welcoming room with light & colorful people-watching scenes. We actually enjoyed being at the bar more than the somewhat antiseptic seating in the restaurant. Our bartender/server, Lashan, was outstanding: warm, friendly, helpful, efficient. We had an excellent lunch! We shared am delicious, unusual, tender, short rib Reuben sandwich with a side of beet salad, plus an imaginative butternut squash pear salad, accompanies by Rodney Strong chardonnay for my wife (quite good) & flavorful Sweet Water 420 ale for me. Try it!

Kandice was our server and she did an exemplary job. She even knew not to clear my plate before my wife finished her meal. She followed proper etiquette and always had a smile. The pastrami sandwich was excellent. Tender meat, lots of flavor. I truly look forward to dining here when visiting the museum. This restaurant is s true treat.

Excellent -- Wonderful place for lunch

By K P 13 |

We had a wonderful lunch here. The winter wedge salad was excellent and the salmon was amongst the best I have ever had. The atmosphere is trendy, light --but relaxing. Service was very good. Highly recommend.

Excellent lunch - great service

Was at the center for a business meeting, and needed a fast lunch. Table 1280 is conveniently located in the courtyard (near the adult swings) Kahlila was my server - absolutely incredible. Very personable, responsive and a total pleasure

Very Very Disappointing Experience

By Archer W |

We went for dinner with friends before the symphony. We did have reservations which are necessary before an event at Woodruff Arts Center. The restaurant is part of the Center so very convenient for attending performances. This is about all that can be said about a positive experience. There were so many negatives it's difficult to enumerate. We were sat at a large round table which made conversation impossible (more on that later). We requested a vacant table for four. It took 15 minutes to be told it was reserved. We ordered cocktails/wine. After several inquiries of our server and finally locating the manager, the latter served the drinks 30 minutes after placing the order. Obviously, the meal arrived a few minutes after. (The manager did comp us the drinks.) We noticed that all the tables were being served long before us and it caused us concern since we had a time constraint (which they knew). When the meals did arrive, we did not receive the bread and the salads before the entrees. The entrees arrived at different times. We had to remind the server about the salads. Because of the delay, we ate hurriedly - hardly a social occasion. Our reservation time was 2 hours before the performance. The menu was limited but varied - something for everyone from sandwiches to entrees. The quality of the food was good. The portions were small but priced accordingly - most expensive meal was $18. The atmosphere was minimalistic/modern - one large room with 2 story ceilings. The noise level made conversation very difficult and for us at the large round table just about impossible. They have lost our business.

Brides luncheon

By marion s |

We had a luncheon there for a bride and her guests.i can't say enough about how easy it was to work with the staff to set up this luncheon and the follow through until we left. . Our personal waiter kept out glasses filled with proseco and made sure we received personal attention. He was also our official photographer ! The menu for the luncheon was perfect for a small group ( we had some choices). Thank you !

Table 1280 in Atlanta

By ElmerPadgett |

What a great little place across from the High Museum in downtown Atlanta. Great food--Special was scallops--large ones served an attractive bed of seasoned rice. Scallops had a bit zest to them. Good wine selection. And convenient for a visit to Atlanta's High Museum of Art. A real "twofer."

Very cool restaurant

By CindyR54 |

This restaurant's decor and views were stunning. The menu was a bit limited, but everything was delicious. The service was really good too. We went here after the High museum and before the Woodruff Theatre. What a great day in Midtown Atlanta.

Great find! Go especially if visiting ASO or High Museum.

By MPC2of3 |

We had Atlanta Symphony Orchestra tickets and were running a bit late so wanted to grab dinner close to the Arts Center. We were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon Twelve Eighty. Highly worth a visit, especially if going to Woodruff Arts Center or the High Museum. The cocktail, wine and beer menu is very good. The dinners looked tremendous, but we opted for small plates. The Ahi Tuna was wonderful as were the crab cakes. The winning appetizer in our mind was the Fried Green Tomatoes - with shrimp, goat cheese and a remoulade sauce. The restaurant is bright and airy with large windows overlooking the Arts Center promenade. Our service was impeccable on a crowded Friday night and she got us in and out in time for the concert. Also accessible to MARTA. Recommend!

Lovely and delicious!

By Lyn P |

We enjoyed a late family lunch. Two chose the shrimp noodle bowl, one chose the chicken salad on croissant, and my nephew had the mac and cheese with lobster. The portions were large, tasty, and ingredients were carefully considered. My mother got the chips as a side and they were outstanding.

Just enough

By Nancy B |

his quaint place attached to the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta is a great place for a pre-symphony or theater event. The food is inventive and tasty--and the serving size is just right. I had a perfectly cooked salmon while others sampled the shrimp bowl, ribs, and pizza type appetizer made with shrimp. For dessert we sampled the lemon crepes which were light and a delicious end to a nice meal. The service was impreccabe.

Contemporary, bright, after theater cocktails & dessert

By arockefellerview |

Contemporary, bright, after theater cocktails & desserts, spiked coffee blends, extensive wine selections adjacent to the High Museum of Art and Woodruff Arts Center venues, were served by vivacious and friendly staff. Our choices were delicious & a most pleasant presentation at modest pricing.

Great way to start your visit to the Museum

By ljrapp16 |

The food was great and the service was very friendly and good, but the food came out very slow. I would go back again and would recommend to anyone going to the museum.

True delicious experience!

By EBCH72 |

Yesterday we ate with mi cousin at Table in Atlanta, and I truly can say it was one of the best meals ever. The place was packed, delicious food, really nice people there. I had fried green tomatoes as an entrance and oh boy, they were delicious. Would love to go back.

I'm asked about because I'm reception for large firm

Is located in the site of the High Museum and Atlanta symphony. Excellent wine choices. Good area for good conversation. Excellent food. Expensive but worth the service. Near Public transportation train line

I'm happy it reopened!

By Kathy C |

We were sorry to see it close and although we heard it would reopen, we thought it might become a different place from the one we loved. The menu is different and the changes looked and tasted great. Plus we saw familiar, friendly faces as the staff welcomed us back. Totally pleased!

Amazing!!

Beautiful setting, excellent food, and outstanding service!! Erica was the wonderful and she made our dinner experience amazing!

Changed for the better!!

By Rebecca R |

It had been over a year since we've eaten here but it was convenient for lunch before our afternoon theatre tickets, and the menu looked decent so we decided to try again. I'm glad we did! They must have a new manager since our last experience because they are back to being a great place to eat! Our appetizers, entrees, sandwiches and dessert were all delicious! And the service was fabulous! Can't wait to go back next month. Way to go Table 1280 - keep your current manager!! :-)

OPEN TABLE - did not credit my reservation

By RWinzie |

If you use Open Table make sure the give you credit for it... Had scallops.... they were very good. So convenient to eat there and then go to the theater.

As good as the art across the way

By 2653adele |

Evidently flatbread pizza is a "thing" in Atlanta. My husband ordered a salmon flatbread appetizer that was fantastic, so much so that I want to replicate it when we go home. I had the twelveeighty salad, a delight of arugula, chèvre and other goodies. Love this place.

Very Average Dinner Experience

By Jim J |

Made a dinner reservation for a time just prior to the Chris Botti concert at Symphony Hall. The staff is friendly; however, the food was average and service slow. It is a convenient location for events at the Woodruff Arts Center, but not for quality food and service.

The perfect side for a Richard Meier Immersion or a Pilgrimage to the High Museum

By LosAtraveler |

A perfect venue for lunch, the flatbread was extraordinary. The ambience is clean white with garden views creating a relaxed comfortable atmosphere for a business lunch. I had the NAPA CHICKEN SALAD with Celery, Red Grapes and Warm House-Made Croissant. It was served with their hand-cut fries which were perfect. I highly recommend.

Great food, a little noisy

By WTCA |

Visited 1280 before a trip to the High Museum. We found the large windows made it a very pleasant space (tho I wonder if it would be cold if it had been a chilly day). It wasn’t busy and we had very good service. The food arrived, Cuban sandwich and Asian chicken salad, and we were surprised at just how tasty and well-prepared everything was. And the portions were generous (two people could have easily shared one dish). The dishes were well-seasoned without screaming too much salt. The one thumbs down would be noise level. Every surface was hard so there was nothing to absorb sound and it did get rather loud even though it was not overly crowded.

Great food in Arts Complex

By Steven S |

Located adjacent to the Woodruff Arts complex, you can get a fine lunch before touring the High Museum, strolling "campus" or grabbing something prior to a performance of the Atlanta Symphony. Fine and attentive service and for lunch the Autumn Chopped Salad is delicious.

Disappointed

By josmiller59 |

Hoping it was just an off night. The service was great. The food, not so much. We ordered 4 appetizers. The develed eggs were fabulous as was the Brie and apples they gave us upon request. The baked cauliflower had no flavor, boo. The buffalo chicken flat bread was cold.we also ordered a soup, but sent it back, it was more of a pure than a soup. Lots of $$.

Nice dinner spit

By Jim G |

Located between the High Museum and the Atlanta Symphony, this is a nice place to dine after a Museum visit or before a show. Food is good, service is very professional.

Great food at a museum restaurant

By Peggy B |

Great food and a wide variety of choices -- all perfectly prepared. I had the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. The sandwich was seasoned nicely with a huge amount of chopped chicken filled with grapes. The salad had dark green leafy lettuce which was healthy to off-set the buttery croissant. It is hard to eat healthy when traveling! The atmosphere was too sterile for this old-fashion girl. The white walls, white tables and white floor was a little stark. My personal taste would be dark woods in a historic setting.

Nice Meal at Table 1280

By gandersonsc |

We ate at Table 1280 today along with our visit to The High Museum of Art. Walked right in and was seated immediately. Short menu with a special Sunday Brunch menu (just 3-4 items). The food quality was exceptional. Service was good. Atmosphere a bit stark. They could use adding a kid friendly item or two to the menu, as the youngster in our group was less than thrilled and I am sure they get a lot of traffic from the younger set.

Pre Orchestra dinner

By Tiburon09 |

Always come for a light meal and some wine before an ASO performance. Tried the salmon tonight. Excellent. Over quinoa and baby bok Choy. Reasonable prices. So convenient. Also great for High Museum visit.

Confused

By PeeWang |

Restaurants and bars associated with concert halls have a particular challenge: How to handle a rush. Twelve Eighty has had a couple of years to figure it out and have more to learn. The bar service is particularly bad with no standing space and staff crazily mixing drink orders with food orders. Three separate service areas (plus and outside patio) make service particularly confusing. Come here on a quiet day and enjoy the beautiful Art Center Plaza and architecture. Or wait until the rush business has been figured out.

Fresh food near the High Museum of Art

By Megan M |

Fresh, light food and drink in a trendy atmosphere perfect for a pre-museum pick-me-up or a post-museum conversation. All food is tasty, healthy, and modern.

pleasant to the stomach and eyes

By sukkuenc |

We had risotto and a crabmeat appetizer. Both are delicious and well presented. The crabmeat dish has big chunk of fresh boiled crabmeat that goes with the special mustard sauce very well. The price is a bit though. We added a cup of coffee and the bill is more than US$40.

Very convenient to the High Museum

By peachybrown |

This Museum is located within the Woodruff Arts complex. It is reasonably priced and has very good food. Is located right at the Alliance entrance and across from the High Museum. I go to both of these entertainment venues often.

This is one table you'll enjoy sitting at

By StockholmKindaGuy |

Table 1280 is located in the modern Woodruff Arts complex that includes the High Museum. The restaurant has a light airy look that feels right at home here. I stopped for lunch after a visit to the High. You can eat in either the dining room or lounge, as I did. Both offer nice views. The restaurant has both a lunch and dinner menu. The lunch menu is made up of mainly salads and sandwiches, along with a few small plates. The menu while not extensive features a nice variety of items for both meat and non-meat lovers. I had their Short Rib Reuben, that included on side. Mine was a bowl of fresh fruit. The food arrived promptly, quicker than I expected. I enjoyed my sandwich, although I thought the Russian dressing was a bit plain. Service was very friendly and professional. Table 1280 is a great choice if you're visiting the Woodruff Arts Center. Parking can be found on the street of at nearby garages. The street parking is much cheaper.

Great place before a show!

By 3girlsmom |

We had a wonderful dinner here before a show at the Woodruff Arts Center. I had been looking for someplace convenient and easy so we didn't have to do too much in/out with parking in midtown. When I saw Twelve Eighty listed as part of the arts center, to be honest, I wasn't counting on too much as far as the food went, figuring the location was probably the best thing about it. I was wrong! I made reservations beforehand and I am not sure if it was absolutely necessary but didn't want to take a chance. The restaurant was not packed when we got there at 6:15, but it did start to fill up as we ate so I recommend the reservation regardless. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. Our server was very nice as well. We started with the avocado spring rolls as an appetizer and they were outstanding. My husband had the filet and I had the stacked chicken for entree and they were both absolutely delicious! We finished up with the blueberry crumble for dessert and it was the perfect ending. I also had a cup of coffee. It was a very small cup, like espresso size, so it would have been nice if it was a little bigger. We were both more than pleasantly surprised by how excellent the food was. The prices were in line with the area. Our total bill was $82 before tip but we didn't have any alcohol, which would have made it more. The only reason I took off one star was because the service was a little lacking in attention. Water glasses were not kept filled without reminder, an iced tea we ordered didn't arrive and we had to remind them, and no coffee refill was offered. It was minor but those little details would have made this a 5 star review. Overall, I would not hesitate to return if we attend another event there.

Location, location, location

By Bob K |

Table 1280 is located at the Woodruff Arts Center, it is a perfect place for dinner before a show or concert, or it would be if there were available tables. Every time we have visited, and this week was no exception, all tables were reserved and even with a reservation getting seated a few minutes early was impossible. The food is good, the wine list OK, service was a bit slow which means I cannot comment on dessert because it was time to walk to 100 feet to the concert hall. before we had a chance to test the dessert menu. The biggest problem is the limited number of tables

Wonderful Lunch

By Paul L |

My wife and I enjoyed lunch last week at Twelve Eighty. You must try the Seared Sea Scallops entree if you enjoy scallops. This dish consisted of three huge scallops served over grits, melted leeks, roasted okra with a craw-fish jus. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The combination of ingredients made for an enticing presentation that was so flavorful. My wife savored the Smoked Pulled Chicken Sandwich. Our server provided us excellent service along with recommendations for lunch. For dessert we enjoyed a delicious cake with almonds. All and all Twelve Eighty is a great place to frequent when visiting the High Museum..

Fine dining quality at mid level pricing!

By rwhames |

Another great menu provided by Executive Chef John Metz. Other restaurants from John include Marlow's, Aqua Blu, and High Life. This restaurant is located on the plaza between the High Museum of Art and the Atlanta Symphony Hall. Extremely convenient when attending either venue. There is a vibrant bar scene with a modern in town feel. The grouper and lamb chops were excellent, although the lamb entre was only (2) medium size chops. The sauce for the Grouper was fantastic. (Consider asking for more on the side. All in all a very solid restaurant..

WHAT A TREAT

By JMICHAEL |

Last Saturday while in Mid Town Atlanta we family and I ( 6 People) wanted to go out to dinner. After trying several places on Open Table, we called Table 1280 and they were happy to accommodate us. This restaurant is attached to the High Museum and part of the Woodruff Arts Center. Very clean and modern with stark walls I thought they could have put some artwork there but it all works.. There were 4 adults and 2 children. The kids were happy with their chicken tenders and free juice pak. The adults has several delicious entrees and appetizers Every one was delicious and there liquor and wine selection was great. . We started sharing the Gulf Shrimp Spring Roll, Beet and Burrata salad and the BBQ STICKY BUNS which were beef barbecue short ribs, glazed with Carolina Style Mustard & Chipotle BBQ Sauce. All three were amazing. For entrees, we had SHRIMP NOODLE BOWL 15 Gulf Shrimp, Soba Noodle, Baby Arugula, Squash, Zucchini, Yellow Grape Tomato, Baby Organic Shiitake Mushroom in Miso Broth, MAPLE BOURBON ATLANTIC SALMON Pan Seared Fresh Hand-Cut Salmon, Sweet Potato, Pancetta, Baby Organic Shiitake Mushroom, Caramelized Onion, Sautéed Spinach and Onion Strings, I had thr * GRILLED “CENTER CUT” FILET 24 Two Perfectly Seasoned Beef Tournedos Medallions and finally a salad with Baby Arugula, Herbed Glen View Farm Goat Cheese, Spiced Pistachios, Dried Cherry and Citrus Dressing topped with a chicken breast. Every entree was prepared perfectly and served hot. Look no further when you are in Mid-town, this is a terrific choice.

Delicious food in an elegant setting.

By LuluLolly |

Best dining experience yet in Atlanta. We each had the specials of the day. My husband had the chicken & waffles with strawberries. I had pan seated scallops with herbed couscous - scrumptious. Elegant setting. Excellent service. Reasonably priced.

All around AMAZING!

By Tanya F |

I cannot rave about our experience with 1280 enough. We hosted a lunch for 15 guests in the private dining room and were SO impressed. The food was absolutely delicious (the desserts are worth every bite) and what really impressed us was the impeccable service. The GM Stephen was incredible to work with. He was so on top of everything happening and ensured that our lunch was executed flawlessly. The servers were all truly wonderful as well, attentive, quick and genuine. I must saw, we host many business lunches all over and I have been most impressed by 1280. A few of our staffers also dinned in the main dining room on their own and also had a perfect dining experience with both food and service. Absolutely recommended!

Finally: outstanding food!

By RalphSchmitt |

My wife & I have lunched at Table 1280 many times over the years during our visits to the High Museum. Although the ambiance is antiseptic, the location at the High is perfect. In the past, service has typically been pleasant, but the food has generally fallen short of the menu descriptions. Our visit on Wednesday 7/15 was a BIG improvement. We were delighted. Looking out thru the floor-to-ceiling glass windows was particularly fun this time because of the colorful, artistic installation of full-size, imaginative "merry-go-rounds." Our server, Jeneille, was warm, cheerful, & very helpful. We shared the delicious tuna poke appetizer (improved with additional dressing & scallions, provided on request), followed by the creative daily flatbread & then imaginative, flavorful, blackened shrimp soft tacos. All three were much better than average. Choices of wine by the glass & the beer menu provided fine accompaniments: Rodney Strong chardonnay for my wife & Victory Golden Monkey craft beer for me. We were impressed with the improvements!

great last minute choice

By sasob3149 |

We were running late to get to the symphony and Table 1280 is right on the campus. Good selection of quick bites and main entrees and they guaranteed us we would be on time for the concert despite arriving at 6:50. They were as good as their word and the food was well prepared and delicious accompanied by a very good Schramsberg sparkling rose. Had to skip dessert but it couldn't have worked out better.

Excellent Food and Service

By Amanda R |

We visited the High Museum and decided to eat lunch. We were treated royally by manager Jay and waiter Tony. Seated outside under the trees, we enjoyed watching museum visitors play in the hammocks installation on the plaza. Our lunch consisted of a chicken salad croissant and an arugula salad with grilled salmon. The croissant was flaky and the chicken salad fresh and well-seasoned. The salad was very good- topped with dried cherries, toasted pistachios and herbed chevre. Very reasonable prices.

Exceptional Power Lunch Location

By Robert Franklin |

My wife and I have enjoyed their Sunday brunch. As a convenient Midtown spot, I selected this location to have lunch with a professional acquaintance. The winter wedge salad has dried cherries and pistachios. The grilled salmon on top and the baked butternut squash half were phenomenal. One of top three best salads in North America, thank you. Then, their Cream of turkey soup shook the place. It is a rich bisque. Can't wait to return and duplicate this menu soon. And, I'll add dessert next time.

Private Event- HUGE success

By Laura K |

GMs Stephen & Timothy, Host David , Servers Romulus and Erica went above and beyond for us. Stephen met with us to go over the arrangement for the room and he didn't just do it exactly like we discussed, he did it BETTER. Romulus and Erica were the most attentive, friendly, quiet, servers I have ever worked with. They are phenomenal!!!!! Everyone on the staff at Table 1280 is amazing. I will definitely use you for future events.

Sunday Brunch After A Visit To The High

By dbroome |

I have eaten at Table 1280 before and enjoyed it but never for Sunday brunch. The buffet had breakfast items, cheese grits were wonderful, along with salads, meats and veggies. I especially enjoyed the pomegranate dressing for the mixed greens salad and the orzo salad with vegetables. I enjoyed them so much I skipped desert! Our server, Ian, was attentive and professional. Overall a very good experience.

Friendly service, unique menu

By BarbaraJCK |

Atmosphere is spare, modern, even a little cold, but it's fun looking out on the High Museum and plaza during the meal. And the staff are anything but cold; they all, even the dessert chef, welcomed us enthusiastically. (The food is prepared in an open area.) The menu/recipes are delicious. I thought I didn't particularly like couscous, but my dish of scallops on couscous was wonderful. My husband's maple bourbon salmon was great too. The martinis were good but I didn't appreciate that I got two olives while my husband only got one and a twist of lemon, so that the server, Otis, could keep track of which drink was which (gin vs vodka). My husband is more polite than I am. I would have demanded my missing olive. The breads are amazing. I try not to eat bread, but these (corn muffin and hearty, sliced bread with fruit. In it) were irresistible.

Lunch before Warhol

By Tod W |

I love museum restaurants and Twelve Eighty did not disappoint. Bright, airy dining room overlooking the grounds of the high. Nice wine list, appropriate salads and entrees for an afternoon of art. I had the Tuna Nicoise and it was artfully plated and was everything I expected. Highly recommend making this a part of your museum visit.

Love the menu, the drinks and the service

By GigiPM |

Appealing menu and interesting drinks. Bright and beautiful architecture. I love this place. If feels unique and welcoming while minimalistic. Just like the museum.

A great place for lunch while your visit the High Museum

By gmbecker |

The restaurant is across the courtyard from the High Museum. The menu had a good variety of choices. I particularly enjoyed a farro salad with beets and a nice glass of white wine, followed by a very refreshing cucumber sorbet. Service was very good and friendly. The atmosphere was light and clean.

Nice!

awesome food and great wait staff!!!

its between fancy and casual - right in the center of the Woodruff Arts Center so if you go to museum, ASO of a show you can eat here.. somewhat pricey but really great experience

Convenient and Good

By Sparrow114 |

This restaurant used to be pretty bad, but now it is back to being good. We stopped there because it was close to the Alliance Theater and we though it was going to be okay, but as I have already said it was good. Our waitress was fast and the manager was walking aroungd and talking to the guest which a manager should be doing.

Exceptional Ambiance; Great food; and OK service

By iMacJacq |

LOCATION: We live within walking distance and happened upon this neighborhood gem on a Tuesday evening about 7PM. The restaurant is tucked in between Woodruff Arts Center (The High Museum), The Alliance Theatre and The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. PARKING: There is ample parking in the surrounding parking decks and on-street parking (for a cost). AMBIANCE: The restaurant has two distinct and separate dining areas. The first is in the front` area with a busy, exciting vibe by the bar. The second area is just past the host(ess) stand to the right. This area is a bit more somber and quiet and conducive to conversations. SERVICE: There was an event at the Alliance Theatre that rainy evening, and as such, the bar area and restaurant was packed. Dining and bar service was slow, discombobulated and had a couple "forgotten" items. I'm willing to give them another shot as the food was good enough to (hopefully) let us forget the initial visit. WORD OF WISDOM: I would highly recommend checking the calendars of the surrounding venues first, then make a reservation for the date and time you're interested in dining...better safe than sorry!

Changed for the worse

By Rebecca R |

I thought I would be writing a glowing review but was sadly disappointed in Table 1280 tonight. I had a fabulous meal there only two months ago - stunned they could fall so far so fast. They've drastically cut back their menu and removed their best entrees and no longer offer appetizers. We waited over 5 minutes to even be acknowledged at our table and brought water. The "seared" ahi tuna was over cooked and my plate held 4 bite size pieces along with 4 cups of salad. Seriously?! We had to ask for bread 15 minutes into the meal, and then they brought it without side plates so we had to eat it off the table as our soup and salad dishes had been removed but our entree plates had not arrived - ridiculous! One member of our party had a missing side we had to ask for. The side was not seasoned, the ahi tuna and wonton strips were unseasoned and completely bland. The only bright spot was the servers were nice and one persons salmon was cooked decently with a good glaze. Those two things are why I can give it two stars versus one star. I don't know if this place is under new management but something is seriously wrong. Not what I expect nor desire coming in for shows at the Alliance. We will be walking to nearby restaurants after parking for future shows - no matter how cold the winter gets, it will be worth it for a decent meal. So sad to give this review.

Delicious, easy lunch just across the courtyard from High Museum

Excellent food, wonderful friendly manager and host (not so much the server) at a reasonable price, especially considering in the Arts Complex. Try the flank steak salad. Seriously.

Excellent Service and Food

Loved this place, it was dead on a Tuesday night, but the staff were still very attentive and didn't act like they didn't want to be there. The food was great as well!

Fresh, modern, artsy interiors in sync with creative world menu

By girl-in-a-fix |

Definitely a winner when it comes to choosing a restaurant that is chic, pretty and easy on the eye. Menu is light and not too pricey though portions are small. Great for a business lunch or for ladies-who-lunch and watch their weight. Ask for their specials which usually feature something different from the traditional fare.

This beautiful restaurant is on the grounds of the High Museum, and is a beautiful experience. Have some wine and a pasta dish in the courtyard or inside. The pasta is the best I've had in Atlanta, and on par with that from my visit to Italy. The prices are very reasonable, with a pasta dish running $11.

Great End To The Day

By LTher |

After the day at the High, we decided to dine here before heading home. All four meals were wonderful and even pleased the picky vegetarian I our group. I had the special open faced steak sandwich. The only down is that it's not a regular on the menu. All four of us indulged in dessert. The eggnog cheesecake and pecan pie tartlet were amazing!!! We are so going back

Perfect place for drinks and dinner before show

By Rod D |

This is right at the Woodruff Arts center and just a block from Center Stage so it is conveniently located for multiple entertainment venues. It is "casual - upscale", the food was good and they have a wide variety of wine, beer & spirits. The wait staff were very nice.

A Nice Evening, Great Food

By Jerry L |

This is a perfect place to have a meal before a High Museum exhibit or symphony performance. Modern, clean lines make for a pleasant space. Lighting could be dimmed just slightly for better ambiance. And there were no flowers or candles on the tables. But the food is quite good and prepared well. My scallops had just the right char and saltiness. A varied menu.

Good choice for before-theater/symphony food

Terrific location. Park beneath High Museum. Take elevator to campus level, turn right, and you're at the wine-bottle-lined entrance to an open, cheerful, wood-accented space Staff is friendly, helpful, accommodating but could be more attentive. Prior visits I ate in the main dining room, this time in the bar area, which offers a modest menu and comfortable seating. Here service was a bit haphazard. As for food, Table 1280 emphasizes fresh, farm-to-market ingredients, and I can believe it. Tasty, crunchy, just plain good. And good value. I ordered the soup of the day, a thick, zesty ginger-carrot. Beautiful presentation. Wonderful. And a cup was just four dollars. Only a dollar more than a Coke. The flat bread was excellent. My neighbor ordered chicken wings. Said they were scrumptious. Smokey. Maple-flavored. Another nearby couple ordered wings, too, but the kitchen ran out. Offered them flatbread, which as I already said, is very good. They didn't seem too disappointed. One more thing. In the bar, you enjoy a view of the Piano-designed entrance to the High. Pleasant to watch the shadows lengthen at sundown. The person who answers the phone is courteous and knowledgeable. Plus, they will get you out in time for the performance if they tell you they will.

Great dinning experience!

By Paradise442039 |

4 of us dined there last night before we headed to the Symphony. Were greeted by the host David seconds after we entered and taken to our table immediately. Our server Kandice was at our table to take drink orders and let us know about specials within minutes. Even though we were literally within walking minutes to the Symphony we were worried about our dinning time going in. No need.... Service was incredible, thank you David and Kandice, you're both an asset to this restaurant to which we let the manager know, who was so gracious to come around and ask about our experience there. We were doing so well on time we stayed and had dessert and coffee. Even if your not going to hear the Symphony we all highly recommend this restaurant. Starting at the staff, to the delicious dinner and dessert, it was a wonderful dinning experience that added to a wonderful evening.

Tiny Portions

By phjed |

The location of this restaurant is excellent for the High Museum and the testers and music nearby . However the portion size are a joke, My wife and I ordered the chicken expecting to have a chicken breast of normal size, It was smaller than most chicken wings and was only one tiny piece. Fortunately we were able to get more bread though that required multiple requests. The bread was accompanied by a single piece of butter in keeping with the overall theme of tiny. Our friends steak was also so small it was laughable. There are other better restaurants albeit further away.

Post Art Museum Lunch

Modern, clean, and excellent wait staff. Very nice, there are examples of art around the establishment, the meals are pricey, but outstanding...an excellent quiet lunch locale.

Pre-Show Dinner

By Annie123081 |

We went here for dinner before attending an evening concert at Woodruff Art Center. We chose this restaurant because we had never been and we only had to park once so it was convenient. The food and service were excellent. My only complaint is that the restaurant just has no warmth to it. All of the surfaces are white and plastic. Very typical for a museum restaurant, although this one is larger than most. If they are going to serve dinner they should try to figure out a way to warm up the space, maybe table cloths and candles? I would return for lunch but probably not dinner.

Art meets food

By Donna W |

After strolling through the art museum, we strolled to this restaurant housed in the Woodruff Arts Complex. The view is wonderful as you look over the courtyard at the art lovers, families, and passers-by. Our lunches were delicious, brought to us quickly and were beautifully prepared. Chicken with quinoa and roasted Veggies was tasty and plentiful. We each had a glass of wine and finished with a cappuccino to accompany our dessert - a rum cake with salted caramel sauce. Masterpiece!

Nice Option

Convenient option for a quick bite before the symphony or theater. Reasonably priced and tasty. Service was superb.

Great Service

By TL14 |

Wonderful, courteous tableservice provided by Carlos and Aaliyah! The menu was much more diverse than you might guess. A nice variety of wine and beer and the usual beverages. Really good food right next door to the High Art Museum.

Impressed

This restaurant offers good food, reasonable prices, excellent service and a lovely modern setting. Don't look any further than here for lunch when you visit the High Museum, great value.

Our favorite restaurant while visiting the High Museum

By RalphSchmitt |

For some 5-10 years my wife & I have enjoyed Table 1280 - usually for lunch - while visiting the High Museum or attending an event at the Woodruff Arts Center. The food is generally unusual, flavorful, with lovely presentations by a charming staff. Most recently we were here for lunch on Friday 2/21, but our experience was just a bit "off" versus prior visits. Our server, Dorian, was charming & helpful, but our food was not as good as we've had previously. A chicken salad sandwich, a chipotle turkey wrap, & roasted gold & red beets were not as moist, flavorful, or attractive as similar food we've experienced. None were bad, but we had expected TERRIFIC. Our drinks were fine, especially J Lohr chardonnay by the glass, & we very much enjoyed our window seating beside the Museum's courtyard on a beautiful, sunny day. The setting is lovely & restful..... Despite some disappointment, we'll be back.

Delish and wonderful service

By Kim S |

Had a late lunch here after arriving on a flight. It's nestled between 2 of the art center buildings and had a relaxing feel. Salmon was wonderful and was served with a stir fried quinoa. Combo was lovely and my server Lashan was attentive and just delightful. Couldn't be happier.

Dine on-site at the Atlanta Symphony, High Museum of Art, Alliance Theatre!

By Jackie G |

1280 is a great place to eat anytime, but it's a no-brainer if you're attending an event in Atlanta's Symphony Hall or Alliance Theatre, or if you're visiting the High Museum of Art. The window tables offer a great view of people arriving for events, so I call that "watching the fashion show!" Other tables are great for conversation and dining. There is also a long communal table/bar that offers seating for individuals or people without reservations. The delicious food is creatively & beautifully presented by great staff. From veggie burgers to pot roast to salmon, everything I have ever eaten at Twelve Eight has been terrific. Parking is paid parking at meters or in the Woodruff Center parking garage or other nearby garages except on Sundays, when street parking is free. For that reason, I most often dine at Twelve Eighty when I am attending events at the Woodruff Arts Center. It is also right across Lombardy Way from the Arts Center MARTA station, so now that I think about it, this could even be a great destination for people staying at downtown hotels or with a long layover at the Atlanta Airport!

Cocktails

Great place to gather prior to going to any of the local venues. Wait staff were friendly. Wine and cocktail selection were very good.

Always a fabulous experience!

Rumulus, Erica, Aliyah and Jenelle Rock!! The service is impeccable and the food outstanding. And of course you cannot beat the ambiance!!

Disappointed with meal, service

By Debbie S |

Had a disappointing lunch at 1280 following a nice visit to the High Museum. This was not our first meal here — the steak salad has been tasty— but my veggie burger was mushy, had no “crust”, and squished out of the bun when I picked it up. The server took it back when I complained, but then pretty much ignored us after it was returned without comment or apology. Undercooked food, it happens; bad service - we'll go back to the museum cafe.

Well, at least it's convenient...

By pkwheeler |

This restaurant is on the grounds of the beautiful Woodruff Arts Center, including the High Museum, the Atlanta Symphony, and the Alliance Theater. It should be the ideal pre-event dining spot, at least in theory. We have dined there before and today we arrived at 6:12, plenty of time for the 100 foot walk to our 7:30 Alliance tickets. We were greeted pleasantly and shown to our table. The bubbly waitress soon arrived, "Hi, have you dined with us before?" We said yes and placed our drink orders- a Black Manhattan and a glass of wine. She soon returned and said, "Hi, have you dined with us before?". We did a re-wind and she caught her mistake. At that point we ordered our food- two apps and an entrée- all to share. Our drinks arrived and she circled back. I mentioned how delicious the Black Manhattan was and I said I have never had one made with Amaro. She then said, "Do you like your drink?" That was about 6:30. Then began the painful wait until the first app arrived at about 7:00- three spreads with some zucchini sticks and 6 pita points. The pita went quickly and we asked for more- three times actually. They finally showed up at 7:15, along with the salmon entrée (barely warm) and my chicken/pesto flatbread (room temp and way overcooked). We gulped everything down, asked for the check, and were on our way. On the way out the manager was being chewed out by a patron, and he appeared to have little empathy. This, to me, is not a "serious restaurant" and they survive with their built in traffic. There are lots of dining options, several within a 10 minute walk. This isn't baseball, so, in this case, two strikes and you're out!!

Disapointed

By Wandering_JLG |

Food, decor, hostess, and seating were up to standards. Most of service was fine but three real mistakes. No rolls even after asking about then. Told no creme brûlée available even though they were being served to others even as we were leaving much later. Overcharged for wine (which we corrected). We will go back but we were definitely disappointed on this visit.

Location is everything

By Emma H |

Top marks to the Woodruff Centre for having the sense to place a restaurant on campus, capturing all the theatre-goers, opera fans and gallery / museum dwellers. In an area of Atlanta which is surprisingly sparse for restaurants, cafes and bars, Table 1280 is a needed convenience. The space itself is interesting - two large dining rooms, echoing with voices, but with a feel more cafeteria than restaurant. However, this may have been the effect of experiencing a lunchtime rush just before a kids' show was due to start at the Alliance Theatre. The menu was good, and had a few quick and cheaper lunch options. The kids menu (not published online, but definitely there) was basic but covered all bases. Service was simple and easy, if somewhat lacking in style and finesse. Food seemed fresh, and came out quickly. A good option for customers of the Woodruff Arts Centre.

Delicious Farm to Fork Meal

By Lux2 |

We ate lunch at Table 1280 after spending the morning at the High Museum. The restaurant is bright and open. The waitress was cheerful, knowledgable, and so helpful. The food was delicious. We all had something different and each plate was yummy. They were able to accommodate special requests for dietary restrictions. The deserts were equally yummy. The creme brûlée was my favorite of the three we tried. It appears to be an unknown treasure! We can't wait to go back!

Separate items

By Sheilavehla |

I ordered lunch items based on the names. I got the High Museum Pastrami since I has gone to the High Museum that day. I got the Twenty Eight inspired salad for this restaurant's name. I got the Diet Coke since I am an addict. All the food was great. I took photos so you can see the presentation. Both the side salad and sandwich were too much for lunch. Should have kept to just one, but I thought both were part of the same selection, not a la cart. No it was not. My lunch ends up to cost $24. That was a coke, half salad and sandwich.

Slow Plating betrays Great Fare

By BigPapiArturo |

Hi Food Family. We had advance reservations for the Tony Bennett show at Symphony Hall. Chose 1280 for its location and ranking. Checked in to the Four Seasons and took the house car to the restaurant. Cocktails were great. Had the Skinny Margarita and the Strawberry Crush. Appetizers were great. Had the beef carpaccio (too heavy on the mayo aioli) and the crab cake (AMAZING!). Then ordered the special flat bread with short ribs and the calamari. All were amazing to taste. The only complaint was that, since the restaurant was slammed with all concert goers at 6 for a 730 show, the roll out of food and drinks was very slow. The table next to us never got their food and had to leave for the show. We got everything but down to the last minute before the show. Overall the food was great, the server was good, and the kitchen needs cook/staff help! I understand the intense, concentrated demand so I will give it four stars...

Nice restaurant next to the High Museum

A great place for lunch when you are visiting the High Museum. The menu is limited but has a nice variety. I had the soup of the day and seasonal fruit. They don’t rush you at all. We encourage lunch

Snooty Attitude and Slow Service

By Nancy V |

I feel very conflicted about how to review this restaurant. We were visiting family in Atlanta and decided to stop here for a late lunch after visiting the High. We walked in and saw it was not crowded so felt confident they could take our group of 5 adults and one infant. We were immediately asked by the young man at the desk if we had a reservation. We said we did not and were then informed in a supercilious tone, "It is recommended that you make a reservation here." We asked, " So, can we get a table?" With a sneer and eye-roll at the baby, he sighed, "Let me see". We were shown to a large table almost immediately. Things looked up with our waitstaff. They were at least friendly and did not seem horrified with a baby in their midst. We were brought menus and water, but no offer of a drink was made. I had the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad which was good. The Tuna was rare and tender and fresh with a nice sweet hoisin sauce drizzled over it. The greens were crisp and fresh, but nothing spectacular. The Tuna was what made the dish. Others in our group had the Maine Lobster Roll. This had no resemblance to the iconic New England treat. The roll was huge and sweet; not the authentic hot dog bun. The filling had a generous amount of real lobster, but the dressing was too sweet and runny and the addition of lettuce and avocado and tomato ruined the authenticity of it. The service overall was slow and we waited forever to have someone take our payment. They baby was quiet and slept through most of the meal so did not disturb any of the other patrons.

Perfect surprise

By Ohana G |

Flight delays took me to the high museum and before I went --- starving. Looking for a simple lunch with a glass of wine. Couldn't have picked a better spot. Friendly---understatement. Lasean and Romulus wonderful people that give true hospitality. Engaging yet unobtrusive if u need to zone out. I had the chicken for lunch with a Paul Hobbs Chardonnay. Who the heck has that by the glass-- an espresso to finish. Life is good. Off to the museum. Super Happy. Aloha.

Great place for lunch

By GaTraveler7011 |

Stopped for early lunch after morning visit to High Museum. Lots of space at 11:30 AM. Packed by noon so plan ahead. Service was attentive and friendly. The presentation and preparation of the food were excellent. Note that both the bar area and dinning area get quite loud and conversation required effort. But overall, it was a very nice meal and we will return.

Very much better

My husband and I had dinner at Table 1280 before a performance at Symphony Hall. We have avoided Table 1280 for several years because it used to be atrocious. We were very pleasantly surprised with the changes. We enjoyed drinks on the patio before dinner. It was a beautiful spring evening and the patio is a great place for people-watching. Just be aware that there's no table service before 6 - you get your own drinks from the bar. We were greeted pleasantly and seated promptly. Our server, Zachariah, was friendly and informative without being intrusive - very nice. We shared an appetizer of lamb meatballs, which were pretty good. I had the vegetable farro, it was very good and served nice and hot. My husband had the chicken - he said it was great and he would happily order it again. We shared a slice of red velvet cheesecake for dessert - it was excellent. Zachariah told us that all the desserts are made in-house, so we'll want to come back and try some more. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the quality of the food, and the location right at the Woodruff Art Center all made this a very enjoyable evening - I'm really glad it has changed.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EVENING MEAL

By GTJack71 |

My wife and I along with my aunt dined at Table 1280 before a performance by Il Volo. This fabulous restaurant is located in the campus of the Atlanta Symphony. The menu' is brief, but each dish is superbly prepared. We each enjoyed a different selection: papardelle, salmon and scallops. Impossible to choose the best. And then the dessert: a creme brulee' and an apple pastry. Again, impossible to choose. The wine selection was a bit limited but fitting. Service was excellent. The wait staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The chef came by to ensure the quality of our orders! Prices were reasonable given the location. If you plan on attending a performance at Symphony Hall or nearby, Table 1280 would be a superior choice for drinks/dinner. By the way, take in an Il Volo performance. They, too, are exceptional!

Restaurant at the High

Great place for lunch before or after visiting the High. Maybe a tiny bit pretentious, nonetheless, good, affordable food in a good setting, convenient to great art.

Excellent

By Nurhan B |

We had lunch and could not have been happier. The starter mushroom dish which we shared was very good. My wife had the pulled chicken sandwich which was very tasty and well presented. I had the scallops dish which again was perfect. The killer was the blueberry crumbles with vanilla ice cream which was to die for. service was also excellent. Definitely recommended.

Worst Service with a Side of Attitude!

By Christine H |

We attempted to enjoy dinner before the symphony, but to no avail. The hostess and manager informed us we would only be served drinks because they were so behind on their tickets. Service for our drinks were slow, the manager was very rude and I would discourage anyone from eating here for a pre-symphony show. What we did get served was drinks with a bountiful helping of Attitude. Discraceful!

Outstanding food - a side of fresh farm veggies deserved a whole review by itself.

By Rodhake |

Located right inside the Atlanta Symphony Hall, this is conveniently sited for all the Woodruff Art Center venues. Full flat floor access makes it convenient for less mobile patrons. Greeted by the eclectically garbed David, we were rapidly ushered to a table in the high ceilinged room. The only décor items breaking the crisp white walls were large stars covered in holographic film providing a rainbow effect and a huge wall of glass to the outside. The hard flat surfaces do bounce sound about, so it is not an intimate dining experience. Beginning with a shared appetizer, we moved on to generously sized mains – Seared Maple Leaf Farms Duck Breast for me, Seared Jumbo Sea Scallop & Shrimp with grits for her. The food quality is outstanding. My side order of fresh farm veggies was worthy of a whole review by itself. The wine list is wide ranging, with many bottles are shown in the lobby of the restaurant (in sealed and, I hope, temperature controlled) display cases. Also on display is the kitchen, so you can see how fresh and clean everything is. Quick friendly service, great food, convenient location – this is a perfect place for dinner before a show. Advance booking strongly advised if this is a pre-show dinner – strangely there were no reservations available on-line for several days prior to our mid-week visit, but lots of available space suddenly appeared on the day.
