Best small plates in Vegas.

By Sharon H |

We love to visit this restaurant/bar, YOu can go formal with a very nice dinner menu but our favorite is the small plate and designer cocktail happy hour. Drinks and plates are 5 dollars each and well worth it. It is easy to make a meal by ordering several small plates. My husband and I usually order 4 or 5 small plates and a few drinks. They have killer mojitos made with fresh berries.

Hidden Gem

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful! The people were very inviting and the food was delicious! Me and my boyfriend went their to celebrate his 40th birthday, and Restaurant Week. The steak was cooked to perfection, and my halibut was also so amazing. I will definitely be back again. They also have a very good happy hour that is definitely worth checking out.

Consistent and Good

By 702dougt |

The service is average, but the food is always consistently good and fresh. They even have a vegetarian option on the menu and that's unique for a steak and seafood restaurant.

Great Happy Hour

By hyperdog7 |

Went for happy hour with some family and everything was great. Drinks tasted great, food tasted even better. If we didn't have plans for the rest of the trip I would of loved to go for dinner one night.

Great Happy Hour menu and service

By Shakersalt |

Had our last quick meal before our flight out and we were not disappointed. We love the folks at the Silverton and the bar staff and manager at Twin Creeks are no exception. Really enjoyed everything on the happy hour menu and the bread pudding was phenomenal! Looking forward to our next Silverton visit which will include more meals at Twin Creeks

A Little Disappointed This Time

By HawaiiKaiGail |

We have dined here Many times, over Many years. The food and service was always very good. And, the lovely decor of the bar and restaurant is sure to please. This last experience was on Mother's Day 2025. They were open in the afternoon, instead of dinner only. My spouse asked for a nice table with our reservation. I was given a pink rose when we were taken to our table. They gave us a square table for 4 with only 3 chairs at it. The one chair was removed as it sat on a corner where people walked by. Instead of viewing the pretty rock wall that changes color, we had to sit facing the dark corner. Probably one of the worst locations in the dining room. If you have dined here, you know they come around with a bread basket with many choices...and really, as much as you would like. We really enjoy it. Not this day...they wanted to give us blueberry muffins/bread with a sweet honey butter. Don't care for blueberries. So, we were given 3 regular dinner rolls...that had NO flavor. How can bread have no flavor? They had a special menu that also included many of their regular items. Boy, the prices have gone up ALOT. We each ordered a salad...$14.00 & $15.00. Mine was very large...could be a meal in itself. Spouse was rather bored with his. Not much good in it at all. Perhaps, reduce the salad size so it's really an appetizer and reduce the price(?) We came for steak. They have a New York steak...Not NY Strip steak. Big difference. We shared it along with a side order of the scalloped potaotes. Medium rare. Chef would split the steak on 2 plates for us. It came out in a timley manner along w/the potato dish. Looking at it on our plates, we were very glad we were sharing it. If it had been one piece, it would be the size of a rectangle brick and about 2 1/2" thick. Too thick...the inside was pretty rare and not very warm. There was also fat marbeling. The potatoes were very runny and the cubes of potato were still a tad hard. Not so much of a cheese taste either. It was alot of food after the very large salads so we decided to take some home. No room for dessert. We were give 2 chocolates...in the past, it was 4. Sigh. We were only there about an hour and a half. It just wasn't the same as in the past. Disappointed. Manager, if you are reading this, I would love to hear from you.

Scalped on Scallops

By Dan_Anthem |

We love this regular restaurant of ours and now that we’re both retired we go for special occasions only. Where the food is always wonderful and the services is always above board and top-notch I do have to draw attention to a bit of a service failure. I couldn’t decide on the scallops entree or the steak, both priced comparably so I noted I could order the steak and get a side order of scallops for $22 half the cost of the entree (everything is À la cart ) and the 6 of us completed our orders and all was good… When dinner arrived and my entree set I was served a dinner sized plate with two scallops on it, 2 that’s it. I asked the waiter if this was a mistake having only two where he informed me it was not. I asked him to take it and to have it removed from the bill, as that’s not what I expected for the price. He nodded. My partner spoke with him and asked if that was really a normal portion or an appetizer portion, to which the waiter replied it is and he said well you think you’d get at a minimum 4 or half the dinner entrée price as it’s half the cost. Awhile later and almost finished with dinner, two more scallops showed up. Unimpressed with the price to product I didn’t even eat the two previously placed and that I asked to have removed. When the bill came I was flabbergasted as not only were the original scallops of $22.00 still on the bill they placed the second order on there. When questioned why the first order is on the bill let alone a second I was looked at like a deer in the headlights. I’m not one to create a scene or have drama in dining so I turned pulled out my CC and paid the bill. Mind you I’m center position in the entire dining room and all eyes are always on you as your leaving. I did tell the waiter we always pay our bills fair and clear then told him the scallops should have been removed and you charged me another for the additional two you brought, where he stood again deer in the headlights. I wasn’t gonna get into it so we left. We’ve been there so many times I can’t even guess how many and I’ve never ordered a scallop add on to a steak dinner but rest assured I won’t be doing that again as we won’t be returning to them for awhile not when I have Michael’s at SouthPoint, Hanks at GVR and many more Regards Scalped with Scallops

One of The Best Steak House In Vegas

Located in the Silverton Casino, great Atmosphere Incredoble Service and Great Steak. The Best Thing is it won't Break the Bank for an Incredible Meal.

Classy, Quiet Steakhouse

By sincityterry |

This quality steakhouse located in the Silverton Casino offers great quality meats and a nice variety of salads and side dishes at reasonable prices. The focus is meat, so it is unlikely a vegan or vegetarian would choose this place. The service is good, without being pushy, the orders are taken without upsell hype, and the seating is spacious and comfortable. Our visit was a family affair, so we were pleased we did not have to yell over background noise. The venue is quiet and the ambiance is what people should expect at a fine dining restaurant - lively without being overly trendy. We will come back to Twin Creeks again.

Debit card fraud

By sue |

Our debit card was charged for $300 THREE times! The manager offered no apology or compensation for the 20+ minutes we waited while they said it would be fixed. $600 in debits hit our card today, 3 days after we dined at Twin creeks! Our time they wasted has cost us $600 above our dinner cost! Food was good but not worth $900

Late night happy hour

By westie2 |

We again took advantage of the late night happy hour where all food and drinks are 1/2 priced. My wife chose the highly coveted toasted almond martini (amaretto, Kahlua and house made vanilla bean cream (4 Sips out of a possible 5)) while I chose new ground by ordering a raspberry ice cream martini (raspberry vodka, Chambord, sweet and sour mix, and the vanilla bean cream (3 Sips)). We also shared orders of bacon wrapped dates with a balsamic reduction (4 Forks) and piquillo peppers stuffed with garlic cream cheese and served with marinara (3 Forks).

"OH my GOD", can you say" Yummy", So Good!!

By Gary N |

Forget about the "Big Name Steak Houses"!! This is the real deal folks!! My party arrived at 500pm for the one hour "happy hour" where the drinks are 1/2 off, and they have some reduced priced appetizers too( all this happens inside the lounge area). We ordered the bacon wrapped scrimp with BBQ sauce. Very good. We visited and laughed until our 600 pm res. We were seated in a lovely restaurant... We were there on a Wed night. So it wasn't super busy yet. I ordered the house salad, one of the best I've ever had. I had New York Strip -- medium-- with baked potato/butter. WOW!! What a pleasant surprise that was-- it was the best New York Steak I have ever had.... ummmm. My party split the bone-in rib-eye -- they loved theirs too.... We were to full to order any desert... The service was great -- attentive without being over bearing. Everyone should come here for the service and great steaks and prices...

Great Steakhouse with Nice Sides

By Steve P |

My girlfriend and I split one of the larger steaks and the chef was happy to cook one half med/rare and the other half well-done (yes, I know people who will say this is wrong). The steak was delicious and we were both happy! The sides were also great: broccolini, cauliflower and jacket potato. I enjoyed them as much as the steak. $140 for two, plus a glass of wine, no dessert.

Best meal in the whole of Vegas

By vantrav_1 |

We ordered the filet Mignon and it was the best tasting one we have ever had. I get mine well done and my husband gets his medium rare and we both loved our meal. We ordered the asparagus as well as the potatoes au gratin. They were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing and looked fantastic inside. We will definitely go back there again.

"Awesome Dining Experience"

By shoeindynutz29 |

Finally had the opportunity to dine at Twin Creeks on 10-30-13 after reading so many positive reviews and 2 stays at the Silverton. Our group of four reserved a table prior to a show on the Vegas Strip. The hostess was excellent in seating us a bit early once we informed her of the show time. The wait staff was on top of all of our needs and requests, and our waitress was extremely informative and offered fantastic suggestions to the food and drink menu. We were initially a bit nervous about making it to our show on time but we were amazed at how we were treated and our show was made with plenty of time to spare. On to the food.... So Good!!! For starters soup was all of our choice. Three of us opted for the lobster bisque and my wife chose an incredible onion soup. The Lobster Bisque was easily the best I have ever had. The flavor was perfectly balanced and there was nice chunks of lobster meat throughout. The onion soup was nothing short of outstanding. Wish I had some right now. For dinner I had ordered the cilantro marinated Rib Eye which was cooked perfectly to order. The flavor just exploded in my mouth and was wonderfully tender. My side dish was Roasted Brussel Sprouts which were prepared with a savory smokey bacon. Loved it! Other guests ordered a beautiful Prime Rib with a gigantic baked potato which was served with sour cream bacon and chives and Tenderloin with a side of insanely delicious cheesy scalloped potatoes. Side dishes feed two people easily. Cocktails consisted of a whiskey sour and two chocolate martinis. So after all of that... desert was impossible. Highly recommend Twin Creeks. Impossible to get this treatment and quality at an affordable cost on the Vegas strip.

Best deal in town!!

By djv714 |

The food is great. Best deal in town. You get a 8oz. filet salad and 2 sides for $25.00

Spend your money elsewhere

By Diana |

I'm afraid there are more bad things to report than good. We both ordered filet mignon the 10oz portion. The steaks were not hot when they came to our table, neither were the baked potatoes. The potato would not even melt butter. The only item that was hot was a bowl of creamed corn. The bread service if that is what you want to call it goes like this. Wait staff comes to your table with a basket of bread and proceeds to explain about the 6 or so different types of bread in the basket. At this point I thought they were going to put it down on the table but get this, they ask which of those we would like. I took two different kinds, neither memorable and my friend took a cheese bread that she said was stale. How is it that when one is paying $60 for a steak that you can't get a bread basket left on your table? I really saw no reason to return. There are many better steakhouses in the city.

Fun, cozy decor, but food is just good not great

By Meredith L |

We joined the casinos rewards program and got a 50% off coupon so we decided to try the steak house. The decor was cozy but even though the restaurant was half empty it was a bit noisy. Service was decent but not great. The crispy rock shrimp appetizer was over breaded and a little over sauced. The steaks were good but not melt in your mouth like we are used to at fine dining steak houses. Grilled asparagus and truffle French fries were our favorite items. The creme brûlée was overly cold and VERY thick. If it weren't for the company the experience would have been disappointing.

unless it is prime rib night go to the buffet or get a hamburger you eat here and you will be going for a burger any way so save the time

Great Prime Rib

By KDJERO |

We had a late supper at Twin Creeks and it was very good. The atmosphere was excellent, although a bit dark for my taste (my wife says I have no taste, though). The prime rib was excellent. I ordered the asparagus as a side, and they must have brought 20 spears out. A little overkill in my book. I now realize that they must be designed to share, but my wife was only having an appetizer, so I wasted quite a bit. Still, everything was quite good and although a little pricey, you get the same quality of food that you would at a steak restaurant on the strip for about 1/2 to 2/3 of the price, so in relative terms, it was a bargain. I would definitely eat there again.

good service average quality

By fetrin |

I've eaten at Twin Creeks over the years. The lobster is above average but the steaks are of average quality. I've had the bone in ribeye and asked for the chuck end. It's not nearly as flavorable and somewhat tough compared to higher quality meats. My wife has had the strip and same there. I would rather pay a few more bucks and have the better quality beef. The steaks at Sodona are way better for a little more and they are at half price on sundays. Steaks at Hanks at Green Valley Ranch are pricey but aged, flavorable and you can cut them with one slice of your knife. Service is good if they aren't busy. Best to reserve a seat for the weekends.

Excellent all the way around!

By whatagreatlife |

This dining experience was the total package! Exceptional service and outstanding food! After being seated in a wonderfully private circular booth we immediately dove into the yummy bread basket!! Our party started with the caesar salad, french onion soup & blue cheese wedge and they did not disappoint! For entrees we chose the regular filet mignon, and the halibut special along with sides of scalloped potatoes and loaded broccoli. We ordered the larger filet in order to enjoy leftovers for breakfast the next day, and luckily we had the veggies leftover too! So just whipped up some eggs and we had a wonderful breakfast!! Everything was excellent and look forward to returning when we roll through again in our bus. The RV resort is conveniently just minutes away!

Excellent choices

Excellent food with a great variety of tapas, appetizers and full course meals. I eat here at least 2-3 times a week and the food is always amazing.

Twin Creeks Buffet - Silverton Casino

By Christopher W |

One of the better Buffets in Las Vegas. Friendly staff & servers, Delicious food & reasonably priced... You can save a couple bucks per person if you get a Free Players card. Large variety of fresh food. Salads, Asian, Mexican & Italian food as well as American staples. Thy have a pasta bar where you can create your own favorite. many deserts to choose form as well as an Ice cream bar. Can get quite full on weekends for dinner.

Awesome steak dinner

By Kevin K |

When traveling to Las Vegas, I try to make one night a fine dining night. I was with the guys so it was unanimous that it would be a steak night. We decided on Twin Creeks in the Silverton Hotel and Casino and it was a great find! I ordered the 22 ounce bone in rib eye and it was very flavorful and tender. Like most steak houses, it was ala carte so I also ordered the creamed spinach while others ordered mashed potatoes and mushrooms. It was definitely worth the splurge!

Surprisingly good

By benn1126 |

I don’t like casino restaurants but this one had an intimate atmosphere and the food was good. Service was good too.

surprise in the Silverton

By loudconsumer |

I have eaten here a couple of times with coworkers, and have been pleasantly surprised both times. The food is good, the service has been consistently good, and the decor makes you forget you are in a casino restaurant. Nicely done!

Yummy large steaks and sea food restaurant

By Virginia O |

The atmosphere was very nice. You could hear each other which isn't always the case when there is 6 of you. We had a lovly dinner. Also great wine list and fun whiskey drinks they bring out in a smoke box. Compliments to chef Jami for a variety of dishes and desserts

Happy hour: great food and drinks 1/2 price a steal

By baaaaaaa |

Excellent service (carmella) and table service (jorge). Very attentive and friendly. Ordered crab cakes which were freshly made and shrimp wrapped with Bacon. Shrimp a little undercooked but the crab cakes were so good we ordered another serving. Had a few pumpkin pie martinis which were excellent for $5 (normally $10). We have eaten here several times in the past and their food always above par and service has improved ten fold. While the dinners are great ... We strongly Recommend the happy hours (our favorite when in town).

Spectacular food, great value

By George W |

We've eaten here several times including most recently for a birthday. As other reviewers have commented, this is hands down, the best steak restaurant one could imagine. Prices are more than reasonable, atmosphere is elegant but not snooty, wine list extensive, service is first rate. For example, you can order a very nice steak plus a "side" of say, lobster tail, for under $55 - that's what a steak would cost in one of the "name" steak houses. This place is on Las Vegas Blvd at the Silverton, maybe ten minutes south of the main strips. The casino itself feels like a family operation, not seedy (sometimes scary) like Fremont Street downtown. If you're staying on the strip, grab a cab and try this place. You'll be amazed!

Excellent!

By Amy F |

We were looking for a good steak/ seafood restaurant for a party of 8. I read tons of reviews and stumbled upon this restaurant. What a perfect choice for our special evening! We were seated in a private room. The service was excellent and the manager checked on us twice. The food was delicious. My prime rib was flavorful and tender. The bread basket was exceptional! Everyone else's food was just as good i cannot say enough good things about this place and highly recommend it.

Best Happy Hour Appetizers!!

By Spacecoast_Walt |

We really enjoyed their half-price Happy Menu appetizer selections! We topped it off with three deserts from the dinner menu. Our waiter, Peter, was Outstanding and attended to our every need. We had several items and by the time we finished it felt like a full entree. 1. Stuffed Mushrooms: mushroom caps stuffed with andouille sausage, Parmesan and horseradish, cheddar cheese & fresh herbs 2. Pan-Seared crab cakes with mixed greens and creole remoulade 3. Crispy calamari with Marinara 4. The grilled Colorado Lamb Chops were absolutely my favorite! They were so tender and so yummy 5. The scallops were wonderful but I can't remember the exact description. Creme Brulee, Cheese Cake and Strawberry Shortcake were all so yummy. I'm coming back soon because there are so many more appetizers I want to try

Great Happy Hour & Great Food

By Rondo |

Twin Creeks is a upscale Steak House located in The Silverton Hotel. I would say it ranks with Morton's and Flemings. We went for Happy Hour which is from 5pm to 6pm and is a smoke'n deal. A number of items are 50% off along with beer and wine. We enjoyed Lobster Bisque, House Salad, Lamb Chop Lollipops, Chardonay Wine along with some other items. Tapas Style Servings. Service was excellent and friendly. Waitress came around right before happy hour ended to get last drink orders before 6pm. Dinner menu is quite large with pricing to match. We would highly suggest Twin Creeks.

Delicious Meal

By LaxDadOf3 |

This restaurant is in the Silverton Resort, off of the casino floor. They call it a steakhouse. I had the special, which was an 8 oz Fillet with crab on stacked on top and topped off with a hollandaise sauce along with a side of prepared green beans. It was delicious all around. I worried that the steak would be too small, but when coupled with the crab meat and the side dish and the varieties of breads that they served, it was a satisfying and savory meal. It was a bit expensive, but the food was well prepared. There are cheaper and perhaps more value-satisfying restaurants within the hotel, but if you're looking for more than just food, this is a good place to start.

Best ever? Here...?

By mjlIII |

Ok, nothing against the Silverton. It's a nice casino/hotel off the south strip. But THIS is where we had the best steaks ever?? Yes! And the only reason we ate there was a 50% off coupon we received for joining Silverton's rewards club. Twin Creeks had a wonderful ambiance and all the servers were first rate. But the Fillets we both ordered were the most tender and flavorful we have ever experienced. And we have been to many a top rated and expensive Steakhouse in our travels. The salads, cream spinach and mushrooms we also ordered were also excellent. We may have been brought in by a coupon but we will happily be back to pay full price for our new favorite Steakhouse.

EXCELLENT

By MotorOn2 |

We were staying at the Silverton and wanted a nice meal our last night. We decided to check out Twin Creeks, then checked out the reviews. Well, they weren't wrong! The food was absolutely delicious, including salad, sides and entees. I had a steak which was done to perfection and melted in my mouth. We had a broccoli side dish and mashed potatoes and we were scraping the dishes to get the last morsels. What a find this place is. Even if you are not staying at the Silverton, consider eating here. There is plenty of easy parking, and the Silverton is easy to find. We could not have been happier with our dinner. We will definitely return the next time we are in Las Vegas.

Still oh so Yummy

By misslaydj |

Oh man. This is y u rent cars on Vegas man. Listen to me!!!! Try it. Good steak like Ruth Chris good steak. Go every year when I get to Vegas and this time brough my sister, niece and cousin and they all loved it too. Sides, wines and steak....man oh man I could use one now. And reasonable. Why pay for more expensive streakhouses on the strip unless your a baller. :-)

Delish!

By kelml4 |

We had my grandfathers birthday party here. The food was amazing and the service was great! I recommend the crab cake appetizer, they melt in your mouth!

good restaurant but not fine dining

By Goobette12 |

We stopped for dinner on a Saturday evening. It was a party of 4 and we had reservations. The restaurant was reasonable busy. We all ordered the filets, 3 with asparagus and one with carrots. Two had French onion soup and the others had salad. All was al a cart pricing and about a third cheaper than fine dining on the strip. The quality of the filet was average. It was nice to get away from the strip but I would probably not travel here for another dinner, mostly because I don't like the Silverton casino.

Great food and service

By TheTravelInsider |

Wonderful steaks, impeccable service. But closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Roadtrip

By Denise D |

Very good Steakhouse restaurant in the Silverton Hotel and Casino. Located across from Oasis RV Resort that we stayed at. My husband and I shared the Tomahawk steak with potatoes and a wedge salad. Got a rewards card and got 1/2 off our total bill.

Our favorite happy hour

By Let's go R |

The best deal in town. What else can I say? The small bites menu is outstanding. Tonight we had two drinks, NY strip with spinach, and salmon plate, a filet mignon and garlic mashed potatoes plate, a wedge salad, stuffed mushrooms with andouille sausage, cheesy potatoes and ham, and chocolate molten lava cake for dessert - for $51!!

A Very Superb Meal

By ayty |

So, first off (I know, I know) it has been quite a while since I reviewed. Ah.. life, COVID!! Now to my experience. I was in Vegas this last week visiting friends/family which I have not seen since COVID. What a delight. I took my niece here for an early birthday dinner, and boy was it good. Now, you know I am fussy (New Yorker), anyway we ordered the shrimp cocktail, perfect and fresh, the cesar salad good, the filet mignon which we shared again perfect, medium rare. My niece had the cheesecake and she said it was good. The breads were to die for, especially the cheese one. Alas, they did run out of them, and that was a bit dissapointing. The staff excellent and the place was quiet. It is on par expense wise to NYC, but I think that is pretty much everywhere now. Also, we were not rushed, which I truly appreciate, and is a pet peeve of mine. No, it is not on the strip but I feel worth going to.

Dinner Tonight 6/28/15

By HHenry5236 |

Our reservation, table, service, etc. was great! The restaurant was very busy tonight, but the staff all handled it beautifully. I had the Prime Rib: maybe the best I have ever had, or second best. It was great. My wife ordered the Halibut. It was done superbly. I am from the NW and know Salmon and Halibut. The Halibut was great: probably the second best I have had in Vegas. The best is definitely at Piero's. The atmosphere is very nice. Lydia our wait person was most attentive and had great recommendations and alternatives. We were not disappointed. It was a great meal!

Just gets better

By sspc |

This place just gets better. We have never had a bad meal or poor service here. A hidden gem inside Silverton Casino. We have dinned all over Vegas and this place is one that we continue to go back to time and time again. So grateful to have this staple.

Fantastic place to eat

By Bill P |

Outstanding food great service. Even the happy hour is fantastic. Everything on the menu is superbly prepared by the chefs. Great presentation of the food makes every meal a wonderful experience

We got the impression that this was a high quality dining experience but left us totally flat and dissapointed.

By Gary C |

Nice atmosphere, good service, but food was very questionable. We were a party of two. The first thing we tried was the selection of various breads they had pre-entrees which were delightful and varied. We ordered the Salmon, which was farmed, lacked much color and was served with an uncharacteristic truffle sauce which really did not compliment a fish selection at all. The seafood quartet, a combination of hot and cold king crab, lobster, and snowcrab claws was not impressive at all, the King Crab Legs were very faded in color, indicating long frozen storage, and lacking much flavor at all. The snow crab claws were tiny and not so fresh also, A Tiny so-called lobster tail accompanied the dish, having no taste whatsoever and more resembled the size of a crawdad. Both those dishes were rejected and sent back. We reordered a scallop plate and a small filet mignon to replace those with. After a very long waiting period the scallops arrived with the filet. Both of us tried the scallops and were immediately hit with a strong bleachlike taste, Yuck!!!! A couple of bites from the filet which was medium-rare told me that this grade of meat was very low or that the cut was a sirloin filet due to the high graininess of the meat, totally unlike a tenderloin cut. Spoke to the manager who took care of the bad items and gave us his card, hoping that we would come back, but I don't believe we will. You would be way better off for those prices going to the Golden Steer or Oscar Goodman's.

Reasonable Priced and Good

By Turnkey56 |

Located inside the Silverton Casino food was very good, wait staff were attentive and friendly. I had the prime rib dip which was very good

Filet Mignon to DIE for

By akstyna |

Though dark and a bit out of the way (had to walk to length of the casino to reach) I was impressed with Twin Creeks. I was able to make a same day reservation (granted it is the off season) and all service staff was extremely friendly. Our server made excellent drink suggestions and the filet mignon was melt in your mouth delicious. We also ordered the twice baked potato which my partner loved. I had the mini wedge salad which is hard to mess up but great nonetheless. My cilantro marinated rib-eye was good, but not as good as the filet mignon (obviously.) Overall, I would eat here again.

Date Night

By tonya jones |

Table not ready more than 15 minutes past reservation time. Dirty utensils and table. Tables that are too close together. Loud and distracting dinners at other table. Impolite server. Food doesn't look or taste as described in the menu. Server removing your plate or beverage before finish. Server not bring water until ask. Slow service. Server confusion about who gets which meal. Feeling rushed to finish or leave by the server

Hidden Gem in Las Vegas

By FreedomBus |

We have gambled at Silverton for several years but never eaten there. The casino gave us $10 off food so we decided to try Twin Creeks. What a pleasant surprise! We have eaten in many 5 star restaurants on the Strip, and this restaurant gives you great service and interesting food at less than the usual Las Vegas prices. My husband had scallops which were awesome and my steak was perfect. Wine was very reasonable. It was an all around good experience and we will definitely be coming back.

Another great steakhouse in Vegas

By Mona P |

First time at Twin Creeks - had been told by friends it was really good and a great deal. They know their stuff. The portions were large and easily shared. The steaks were top quality and the scallops done to perfection. Sides are definitely big enough to share by the table. Steak entrees come with a house salad or for a bit more the most incredible lobster bisque. Great spot for dinner especially if you are taking in a show at Veil - it's practically next door.

Great Happy Hour Specials

By bobscottonline |

Have only been for HH. My recent visit (10/2011) was during the week. The bar area was full so the hostess took my cell # and text me when space was available. We were free to roam, and gamble, while we waited. Cocktail and food service was efficient and friendly. We ordered just about every appetizer on the menu and all were tasty with favorites being the meatballs, salmon toasts and stuffed dates. Most items were $6-8 at full price which seemed reasonable. Here's the kicker - tab was 75% off and came to $17 (tipping on the full value made gratuity more than the bill ;-)

Too much money for what we got

By Diana |

I had filet mignon but it was not hot enough when it came to the table. Neither was the baked potato. It would not even melt butter.

By Compass178877 |

Amazing food huge portions great service. Best place we ate in Vegas worth the drive off the strip Higher priced but worth it with portions

Hidden gem of a steakhouse

By ageict |

I had two friends recommend we visit this steakhouse while in Vegas. It's a bit away from the craziness (and high prices) of the strip. Steaks and sides prepared to perfection, and attentive but not overbearing service. Recommend!

Incredible dinner experience!

By ImbibeTours |

We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our dining experience here. We started with wine in the intimate and lovely dining room. I loved the decor throughout and our table was comfortable. Appetizers included oysters and a to-die-for spinach salad. Everyone at the table enjoyed their entree, particularly the filet mignon and lobster. Our server was perfectly attentive and friendly, she was knowledgeable and professional. Prices are reasonable, and a great value. Highly recommended, and we will certainly go back!

Amazing Dinner!

By Ted B |

Twin Creeks was amazing! The food is excellent and prepared perfectly. The ingredients are fresh and very flavourful. We love the variety of choices on the menu. A perfect atmosphere for a romantic or business casual meal! Service was over the top! The staff paid attention to even the smallest details. Table was clean, and drinks were always full. They are so professional and friendly! As locals, we have a lot of great choices in Vegas, but Twin Creeks is on top of our list! We will be returning soon!

Very Sad

By Karl F |

Twin Creeks used to be a Great value for the dollar, the service is still outstanding but the prices have gone through the roof! $42.00 for Seabass? $36.00 for Short Ribs Really? $39.00 for a 8 oz Filet???? Really? And the kicker $18.00 for Beef Carpaccio do you really think you are Aria or the Bellagio? Head to the Gold Coast and Cornerstone great service and outstanding food. Don't waste your money and sorry to say this as this was our date night spot for years. Very sad to say goodbye but when you mark up your menu when to the point where you're at Prime Steak House or Le Cirque at the Bellagio you will lose my business because you are not Prime or Le Cirque you are Twin Creeks in the Silverton.

Great food and service!

By Colaelptx |

Never disappointing no matter what entree we have and the staff is friendly and professional. We usually go for the steaks as they are tender and cooked perfectly. The mushroom risotto is a favorite side dish full of flavor. All 4 of us shared the rich yummy chocolate cake.

AWESOME

By Jane B |

While we were playing in the Silverton Casino we went to the buffet. It was packed and the waiting line was too long. We were hungry so looked around and saw this restaurant in the back of the casino. The menu looked good so the 4 of us went in. The staff was very friendly. We actually had two wait staff to take care of us. Everything we ate was so good. Between the 4 of us we had the following: Lobster Bisque, Spinach salad, TC Salad, Filet/lobster (a very large amount of lobster), chicken, Tuna, Scallops. There was so much food, we all bought part of it back to the condo. So gald we ate there. We will do it again this week as we are only in town for 7 days.

Date Night

By Tiff M |

We wanted a nice place to dress up for and get a nice bite to eat. The staff was very attentive, and the food was cooked to perfection. Very romantic place to eat. The lights are dim and the candles are lit. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. I have a baked yam for the first time and it was amazing.

Relaxing Oasis for Great Steaks, Five Minutes from the Strip

By Daniel T |

Sick of the obnoxious noise level at casino restaurants? Instead, drive five miles south to the Silverton Hotel/Casino and eat at the Twin Creeks Restaurant. NO casino noise, NO ringing bells, NO slot machines squawking, NO obnoxious rock and roll soundtrack. Instead, just classics by Sinatra, Como, Nat Cole, and Ella for dinner music. The service was excellent, as was the food (steak and salmon) and the surroundings. A great wine selection as well. If you want to spend less, the Sundance Grill has good food for less money. A negative is the five TV screens over the bar on different channels plus a kino board. AT least the sound is down on all the TVs so you can ignore them. Our steak and salmon were very good, with a drinkable white wine and crispy veggies, etc.

Surprise found at the Silverton!

By JudgeSue |

Our party of 4 patronized Twin Creeks with 2 of our wine bottles from our own cellars in tow. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and not one I normally find within a hotel/casino. The service and food was wonderful. While this is mostly a steak house, there are seafood and other entrée selections. I selected the seasonal watermelon salad,10 ounce filet mignon and creamed spinach for entrée, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. My husband had the French onion soup; our other dining partner had the sorbet for dessert, and the grapefruit sorbet was to die for. All of us were very pleased with our meal, which was fairly priced for what we received. Given our experience, I was surprised the restaurant was not completely filled, even for a Sunday night. I would not recommend this restaurant for families with small children. Dress can be casual, and again, there was no problem with us bringing in our own wine. We will be back!

Very good but quite expensive

By Jade D |

We always eat at this restaurant when we visit Las Vegas and stay at the Silverton. The bread basket is so good, there is such a variety of breads that are fresh baked. The restaurant is expensive, but not as expensive as a nice steakhouse on the strip. There is a very neat ambiance of the restaurant.

Twin Creeks

By Ed G |

Twin Creeks offers excellent value and service which rivals and often times exceeds far more expensive restaurants on the Las Vegas strip.

Surprisingly Yummy Experience

By Patricia P |

Went to Twin Creeks with friends to try a new place and we were very happy with the entire experience. We were seated immediated and greeted by our very personable server. What a surprise to learn they had several Friday specials that included salad, main course, desert and a glass of wine - for $50, which I thought was well worth it. The food was delicious.

Amazing Happy Hour Menu

By Abbey M |

At 9pm we headed to dinner and to our delight we discovered we were just in time for happy hour. They had a massive menu of items and cocktails that were all 50% off! We were able to try so many things: oysters, crab cakes, scallops, calamari, creme brûlée, bread pudding, and not to mention all the amazing drinks we got. All that food for two and we didn't even spend $100. Made for an amazing date night. P.S. The bartender Jessica is a total rockstar! Ask for her. You won't regret it.

Locals Steakhouse with Strip Prices

By moviegal226 |

Twin Creeks is close to my house, so it's our go-to "nicer" dinner option. We dine here an average of twice a month, and it's a good, solid, moderately fancy steakhouse with (unfortunately) Strip steakhouse prices. The atmosphere screams "elegant cowboy," but the dress code is super casual. You'll see everything here and since it's located inside the Silverton Casino, it caters to gamblers on a comp account. If you drop money on the tables and at the slots, you can wear whatever the heck you dang well please to dinner! My go-to here is usually the shrimp cocktail, shrimp scampi, or fish. Everything is good enough but super overpriced, so be warned. My hubby loves all the "American wagyu" beef and the baked potatoes. The menu changes seasonally, but it gets pretty boring if you aren't a steak or beef eater. The fish has ranged from decent to inedible, and it's honestly a toss-up which one it will be on any given night. The shrimp scampi is really good, but mostly because the pasta is made in-house. The portion size is small, but it's quality. The shrimp cocktail is boring, but it's consistently one of the best things you can order (watch out for that cocktail sauce, it's got a kick). I call it "Old Reliable," but it's the most grossly overpriced item of all (close to $30)! One of my biggest complaints here is that the chef doesn't know how to edit her dishes. No matter what you get (except for the steaks), your dish will have a dozen extra things in it that it clearly doesn't need. I wish she would simplify the menu sometimes. The bar is well-stocked with higher end booze, and the staff is professional yet friendly. I adore the decor and atmosphere here, it's very intimate and cozy and well done. Twin Creeks is a place you'd come only if you have a comp. Full disclosure: that's why we eat here so often. There are far better meals to be had, especially for the price. But when it's discounted or free, that's another story. Other things to note: the corkage fee is $50, the complimentary bread selection is killer (that bacon biscuit is so good), their iced tea is yummy (they even have frozen tea cubes instead of watery ice cubes), and they take reservations on Open Table, so it's easy to get in with short notice.

Thursday evening must have a trainee for food prep.

By HBDiver |

We thought this was the corner stone restaurant at Silverton. We usually check out the steak house at a property. The seating was quick. Rob our waiter set us up with a couple of margaritas on the rocks. The glasses were the correct size. We order our dinner at about 5:40 pm. We were famished from the long drive from Chino Hills, CA. This when he returned with our margaritas. Rob recommended the special of 8 oz filet and 8 oz lobster for $60.00. I already knew what I was ordering when I sat down, which was the steak and lobster. I didn't like what I discovered while perusing the menu. The steak and lobster is always $60.00. There was no special. He was jerking me around by saying a lie. I go to have a nice dinner for fun and enjoyment. I could have had a hamburger and chocolate malt at Johnny Rockets and enjoyed the atmosphere there. Our food finally got there at 6:15 pm, which was way too long to have to wait for either a steak or lobster. When trying to eat the lobster I found that it was overcooked and tough as leather. The filet was a bare bones filet medium rare with no flavor. I know why not just send it back. I was hungry and had finished my first margarita by this time. You don't want me to get angry from being hungry. I ate the steak and lobster with regret. My wife told me I have sent it back but I am not that kind of guy. I am going to try and be that kind of guyt in the future. After waiting for 45 minutes at the table I wanted to eat. You are all right, I should have just told them to keep the food paid for the margaritas and left.

Surprising terrific food, service and cost ....

we had heard about twin creeks so we made a reservation and went ... everything was PERFECT ! food was delicious, one man said it one of the very best steaks he has had in las vegas ... everyone LOVED their food ... service was attentive, consistent and unassuming ... for me i wonder about casino steak houses way off the strip well known restaurants ... it's a 35 minute drive for us and we can't wait to go back

Great menu very unique to the area!!

Top quality service! Ask for Nadine. Great style and recommendations!! Lots of menu selections. Tried Chef Jaime Pepe’s new plant-based menu. Awesome! Blackened cauliflower steak is incredible!! Great value. Hidden treasure.

great steak

stayed at the silverton thus decided to check this resto....steak was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. It sure beat any of the buffets in Vegas. Would highly reccomend

Overrated

By Gene2459 |

I will keep this review short. Prime Rib was the toughest I have ever had. Our waiter nearly sat down next to my daughter. He was a little too friendly for our taste. My wife ordered scallops and got two medium sized scallops on a very small plate. No garnish, nothing else. The decor was nice but that was about all that was nice. It was very disappointing and we won't be back.

The guys loved it, to me it was OK

By Donnyptf |

Eight of us ate at this steak house. The ones that had the Bone in ribeye loved them. The tenderloins, also loved. I had the new York Strip. It was done perfectly but the taste of this steak was just OK. Crab cake appetizer was bland. Three of us had manhattans. Two of us said they were just the way they should be. The third one was not good. They redid it and it was cherry juice. The side dishes were good. the service was excellent. We were there on a Friday night and it was not crowded at all. That should tell you something. The guys said they would go back. I say let's try another steak house next visit.

Excellence

By tim |

Had an excellent experience with my wife. The setting was upscale. Lots of wait staff to make sure your every need is obliged. The “Old Fashioned” cocktail made with Bulleit was as good as I have had anywhere. I ordered the cowboy ribeye, crab legs, asparagus, Caesar salad and nothing disappointed. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked as ordered. Twin Creeks has put itself in contention with any steakhouse in Vegas. Highly recommend.

Outstanding Dinner at Twin Creeks

By grammyliz |

What a good decision to dine at Twin Creeks. The food was outstanding, the service excellent. My husband had a bone-in rib eye steak that he said was one of the top two he has ever eaten. I had the beef short rib and while not always a beef-eater, I have to say that this meal melted in my mouth! Wow. Absolutely delicious. The basket of bread contained four delicious varieties, the crab cake appetizer was superb according to my not-allergic-to-shellfish husband and the chocolate cake was a mile high and decadent. There are many fine restaurants in Las Vegas these days, and Twin Creeks is among them. Even though it's off The Strip, it's easy to get to and is a must for fine dining that is not only exceptional, but is far less expensive than the ones whose names are heard more often. Do yourself a favor and eat at Twin Creeks. It's a fabulous dining experience.

Excellent service and menu and decent wine list too.

By kenmac1 |

Went here for steak and discovered they also have fish and chops and beef short ribs, all excellent. We enjoyed it enough to go three nights! The ribs by the way are so tender they fall off of the bone. Service is excellent and attentive.

Prime Rib not so prime!

By Eileencooks |

First time at the casino and when getting the rewards card to insert into the slot machines we were each given a 50% off to eat anywhere in the casino. We went into Twin Creeks figuring we deserved a nice dinner out plus the 50% off, allowed for more money to play maybe an hour on the poker slots. The restaurant is very lovely, dark and heavy furniture and red booths like the old steakhouses like The House of Lord's in the 60's. Our waiter Peter/Pedro was charming and friendly and we were off to a good start. My friend ordered the prime rib 3 course dinner for 39.00 and I ordered a wedge salad and then found out they had a vegetarian/vegan separate menu. For my entree I went with the risotto with mushrooms which was delicious but could only eat half. Her Ceasar salad was fine as was my wedge which had wonderful blue cheese dressing and I passed on the bacon. Her prime rib came as an end cut as requested but cutting it was really hard and the first piece chewed went on and on and really was well done and tough. Peter took it back and brought out what he said looked like a more tender cut of meat. WRONG! This piece was plumper with a little more fat on it and was more medium (pink on the end) than medium well. The middle would have been medium rare. She would have just eaten the ends but again the meat was definitely not USDA prime ... nor USDA choice! Again, tough and hard to cut or chew. Peter stayed away and although he saw her meat was not being eaten he never asked if he could bring her something else. He asked if she wanted it wrapped to go and she said no as it wasn't edible. The bill came and her $39.00 dinner was on it with no offer to remove it. We let him know that the meat was tough and .. Oh well! So with her 50% off, her first course of the Cesaer salad wound up costing her $20.00 including the bread, butter and water. Her third course, dessert, a small excellent ramakin of creme brulee was tasted by me since it came with her three course meal but she couldn't eat it. Such a shame since being diabetic she needed to eat and sat there eating a Kind Bar as she was feeling shaky. It had a lower glycemic count than the creme brulee. Maybe another choice would have been better but after waiting for the second cut of meat, I was almost done. The breads were wonderful choices (4-5) and brought over so we could choose a couple, my wine was perfect, my meal was fine but spoiled by my friends' disappointment. We left a large tip for Peter of $20.00 as our bill was $83.00 and although he never suggested another option, he was courteous and treated us well. Not his fault that the chef either overcooked the meat or purchased lower quality meat so that no matter how you prepared it, it couldn't be made to taste like prime rib! So it must be like Mom always said... You get what you pay for!

Not Prime at all!

By 385eileenz |

We stopped in to look at the Bass Pro Shop and play slots for awhile and while getting the card you insert to keep track of points, we were offered a 50% off dinner coupon at a place in the hotel/casino. We decided to have a sit down nice meal at Twin Creeks and were seated immediately in a lovely booth against the wall in a corner. Being a vegan, after seeing a menu, I mentioned to the waiter there wasn't much for dinner I could order other than a salad and a side of veggies but he informed me they had a vegan menu which he brought to me. I ordered the Wedge salad ala carte and the Risotto which I never have ordered and thought it was delicious. My friend ordered the special Prime Rib Dinner which at 50% off would be under $20.00 and that covered a salad, the prime rib with some sparse vegetables and a dessert. Salads came and went well and so did the choice of rolls offered to us by a gentleman with a platter and tongs. Excellent so far. As noted my Risotto was delicious but the Prime Rib could barely be cut even with the requested steak knife and chewing it could choke a horse if trying to swallow. Sent back and again an end cut was requested but not one that was extra well done! Ten minutes later another plate was delivered and it was just like the first one. Our waiter Peter (Pedro as noted on the receipt) saw us at least three times seeing that she wasn't eating but didn't stop to see what the problem was. Finally since there would be no reason to try for a third order (which would have come after I was finished) he brought the dessert that came (delicious small ramekin of creme brulee) and brought the bill. They charged her for the entire meal although she wasn't offered another choice when seeing she wasn't able to eat the second piece. So a glass of wine and her dinner salad, bread and three spoonfuls of dessert cost her $30.00 including tax and tip. It wasn't the waiters fault the meat was inedible but was his fault in not asking if she wanted something else or taking the charge off the bill and having her just pay for her wine and salad. Dessert should have been complimentary seeing the meat was too tough for chewing. I happened to just see another reviewer that also complained about the Prime Rib so considering that so few people write in their experiences, I am sure there are many more that this has happened to. So.... do not order the prime rib. If it sounds too good to be true, then it is. Go for another entree and try it out. Room was lovely and service up til the main course was great.

Happy hour

By westie2 |

We stopped in for the happy hour that runs Wednesdays through Sundays from 4:30PM to 7PM. Select cocktails, appetizers, non craft beer, and house wines are all discounted by 50%. We were disappointed by the cocktails currently offered so my wife ordered glasses of Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay that pleased her. I tried the strawberry blossom cocktail, but migrated to a glass of Storypoint cabernet sauvignon for the second round. Though we did not try the food, the appetizers arriving at the customers parked next to us look appealing.

Excellent restaurant with the best steak I have ever tasted!

By Lainey862 |

Perfect for my friends 30th birthday, the staff were very attentive and the food was top class. The only fault would be for the casino in that we had a 40 min wait for the taxis to get back to the strip. Overall it was excellent value for what we got.

Still Amazing! Everyone loved it!

By rosaPDX13 |

my second time and it totally satisfied and brought happiness again! The side dishes are great, the steaks were fantastic, the sauces so good! i think this is now one of my favorite restaurants! i made a special trip to go here, brought my cousins from out of town and they were all so satisfied!

Very nice steakhouse

By Dennis R |

Second time in the past two weeks. A moderately priced steakhouse with four fixed price ($39) dinner selections. Prime rib, chicken, pork and salmon choices include soup or salad, entree and creme brûlée. Other menu items and side dishes are very reasonably priced. Recommend a booth. Tables tend to be a little noisy. Efficient staff. Reasonable wine list and full bar. Doesn’t measure up to the atmosphere, but about half the price of Anthony’s Steakhouse at the M Resort. Way less than Hanks at Green Valley Ranch.

Tasty Food In A Lovely Atmosphere With Just Average/So-So Service

By HawaiiKaiGail |

We have wanted to dine here for some time. We did not make a reservation and came by at about 5:45pm on a Friday night. Hostess said they had NO open tables till at least 7:30pm. So, we opted to eat in the lovely bar area. Sadly, some big mouth lunatic and his gf sat down at the next table over. He had such a LOUD mouth. Yelling, not talking. You know...your freakin dinner companion is just across the table...say, a foot away. Tone it down. I finally said something to the effect that we were not dining in a Sports Bar. He got the message. The restaurant is lovely...almost a tropical feeling to it. There is a back wall with stone that changes color...with "hot red lava" showing thru the backdrop of the stones. Really nice. Your choice of tables or booths. Many tables for larger parties. Nice background music. Anyway, our waitress kind of rushed us. We needed a few minutes, or longer to look over the wine list. Then, she disappeared for quite awhile. Luckily, they work in teams and another lady came over to take our order. Wine was very nice for the price. Thank you. But, the salads and bread came out pronto. TOOOO quick. Let's have a drink before the food comes out, shall we? House salads had a tad too much of balsamic vinegar in the mix. Not much beside lettuce though. Still good and very ample portion. Bread basket and butter was de-lious! So, we noticed...MANY tables in the "actual" restaurant STILL open for us to sit at...even though we were forced to sit in the bar area. We spilt a NY strip steak. We would have thought they would have split it for us(we told the waitress) and most upscale places do that. But, no, we did the cutting. We also had to wait for another plate to come out for us. The mashed potatoes were so good. Nice & creamy. Steak needed a couple minutes more on the grill. Still good. No one ever came back to our table to pour us more wine from the bottle we purchased. I guess they could not be bothered. Water glasses were filled though. They asked if we wanted dessert and we did not have room for much. Also, dessert prices kinda high for what was offered($9.00). Also, for such a nice place, they need to have the COURAGE to enforce a DRESS CODE. No sneakers, shorts, etc. Open after 5:00pm, so no one needs to come from sightseeing right in. Go put on some decent clothes. It took a while for our waitress to pick up the bill. We were ready to leave about 15 minutes ago. Also, PLEASE do NOT call us "guys". We're not freakin 20 years old. But, either was the waitress :) When we were about to leave, two couples came up to the hostess stand. Neither had reservations...BUT...they were taken back to the actual restaurant area where we really wanted to sit. I guess ALOT...and I mean ALOT, of NO SHOWS. All in all, we will go back and make a dinner reservation for the dining room next time. Hopefully, the service will be as good as the food and drink there. It really wasn't so good in the bar area. We still give it a 4.

Prices were VERY reasonable.

Twin Creeks Steak House in the Silverton Hotel and Casino

By TravelingSenior55 |

I was introduced to Twin Creeks several years ago and took an immediate liking to it. I prefer to eat at a steak house type restaurant at least once a visit to Vegas. The menu is fairly diverse in selection with seafood available as well. The atmosphere is very comfortable with an upscale feel without draining your wallet. I do not recommend toddlers join the dining room. It's best kept to adults only. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My dining experiences have never been rushed. Cocktails are graciously made to order and you are served a great selection of breads to enjoy should you need to take the edge off a bit before the main food arrives. The location is right off the casino floor of the Silverton hotel and casino. The Silverton itself is only a short ride from the south end of the strip, ie. Mandalay Bay or Luxor on the west side I-15. The menu is available on line at the Silverton website. Normally there are specials offered and the wait staff will inform you while passing out the menus. They have the usual selection of salad dressings, but I have grown fond of their house dressing. Ask about it and maybe you'll want to try yourself.

Happy hour amazing... Service amazing.. Steaks amazing

Can't get any better then twin creeks.. We come here frequently and always enjoy.. Sometimes it's gets pretty busy but that's what U expect with a good restaurant... Food and martinis are always fantastic ... Michelle and Lara are a great team... We were in this past weekend and its was insanely busy... Don't know how theydo it.. People need to understand that at 8 everyone comes into the bar at the same time so don't expect to get served instantly just be patience and wait, it's well worth it. I see some people get a little impatience and need to chill... Overall always great be back next weekend with a big group... Keep it up girls u got it!!!!!

Delicious 😋 excellent quality food and service

By Alex702 |

Celebrated with 18 friends 👫, really nice ambiance, service was exceptional. Found out wine was 1/2 off on Wednesday which was a welcomed savings. The prime rib was delicious 😋. 39.00 dinner includes dessert. Bread was great. I’d go back for sure.

Excellent service and food

By payitfwd71 |

Please note that the prices currently shown here are *not* current and some of the items are significantly higher. They claim to be a "budget-friendly" restaurant but prices are high for their steak and crab legs. Thankfully, though, Twin Creeks is a high quality restaurant. We received attentive service right from the start. They have a great selection of bread to choose from. I decided to order the asparagus risotto from their specialized vegetarian menu. It was fantastic! My friend had the shrimp scampi and it looked delicious. He confirmed it was. Serving sizes were perfect. Decor and atmosphere were nice.

Great Rib Eye steak

By Ben C |

We stayed at the Silverton on our way home from a wyoming elk hunt and decided to try this restaurant, mainly because we didn't have to travel anywhere else to eat dinner. The restaurant is located right off the main floor of the casino and was easy for us to find. It is one of those places that has white table clothes, a water and wine glass along with two forks, two knives etc, and yes the atmosphere was reserved and definitely upper/snob class. The hostess greeted us warmly and handed us off to an older gentleman who seated us at our table. He was dressed in a suite and tie as were all the male waiters we had contact with. He was very pleasant, affable and a good conversationalist and made us feel right at home. We looked at the menu, which is quit extensive, and found two rib eye steaks we liked right a way. I also realized that everything in the menu was ala cart including the side dishes. I ordered a bone in 16oz rib steak medium rare, baked potatoe loaded with butter, sour cream, and bacon. I also ordered the fresh steamed broccoli with bacon and a creamy white sauce. I Added to this 3 whiskey cocktails and a green dinner salad with an italian balsamic dressing. The salad and dressing came out first along with a basket of fresh warm bread. Both were just outstanding, then came the very large main entree cooked to perfection at medium rare, the baked potatoe was huge and just covered with real butter, chopped bacon pieces and a side bowl of sour cream. The large full crown broccoli was served by its self in a separate dish and arrived with bacon bits and a spicy cream white sauce that had just a wonderful flavor and taste. My son, and hunting buddy, ordered a cilantro lime marinated boneless rib steak, mashed potatoes with horseradish and roasted and carmelized carrots. I tasted his mashed potatoes and was pleasantly surprised to discover that the horseradish did indeed mix well with the potatoes, not hot at all, but just a tang of spiciness that actually enhanced the overall taste. Both steaks were very good, served just as we ordered, and served promptly. Overall service was also very good as we were appropriately checked on during our meal. This restaurant is not cheap by any means as dinner for two of us was $150.00 which included a 20% tip, but the quality of the food and dining experience is simply awesome and frankly surprised me. The silverton is not on what I would consider on the same level as other hotel/resorts I have stayed at in Vegas but this Twin Creeks restaurant is the best 1 or 2 places in vegas I have ever eaten at and as such I would highly recommend it.

Good food and great service

By MariKB |

My husband and I had dinner here last night. We each ordered our own salads which were both fresh and delicious. We shared the filet and lobster tail. The filet wasn't the best we've ever had but still very tasty and good value. Our server Nadine was one of the best waitresses we've ever had; very lovely attitude and smile. The only negative I have is that many of the other patrons were dressed in sweats and jeans. You'd think people could dress up going to a beautiful restaurant. We know it's not the restaurant's fault.

Excellent Dining

By Alan_Wpg |

My wife and I had dinner on a Monday evening. We had a glass of wine in the lounge for happy hour along with the crispy rock shrimp and also the lobster and avocado appetizers. They were delicious. For dinner I had the Prime Rib which was excellent and my wife had the brick chicken which was also quite good. The dinners and the salads and the Creme brûlée were l very good. An excellent meal and good value for the money.

Excellent Choice of a Steakhouse

By Brian F |

My wife and I dined at while in Las Vegas prior to Christmas this past season. After seeing the menu we liked what we saw so decided to have dinner here on evening. I must say we found it to be wonderful. We started with appetizers of Tomato Bisque and French Onion soups. Both had excellent taste and served at the correct temperature. My main course was the Filet while my wife chose the Twin Lobster tails. For sides we chose creamed corn and mushrooms. When our dinner was served our waiter removed the meat from the tails making it much easier for my wife to enjoy their wonderful flavor. My filet was done to a perfect as ordered medium-rare. The real hidden gem was the flavor of the corn which we both could not stop raving about. What an EXCELLENT meal. You can bet that on our next visit to the city we will eat there again.

good prime rib and tapas

By Dave L |

Twin Creeks serves a mean prime rib, perfectly salted and reasonably priced. That alone is worth a visit. They also started serving a variety of eclectic and delicious tapas, including beef stroganoff, steak house sliders and more traditional plates. TC has one of the best whiskey selections you’ll find in Vegas, with three varieties of Pappy van Winkle and all of the famous small batch bourbons, as well as the enough single malt scotches to please the most discriminating palates. Service is always friendly and the prices are more than reasonable. If you are looking for an unpretentious, affordable steakhouse with good quality food and drink Twin Creeks definitely rates a visit.

Great steak at a fair price.

By 522travel593 |

Twin Creeks is a Steakhouse located within the Silverton Hotel. It has a very cool interior dark and quiet. The wait staff in very attentive to your needs. A standard but good size menu. The wine list is good with a verity of prices of wine.

Great food in Vegas

By Stuart S |

I went back to Twin Creeks in the Silverton for the first tie in several years. They have revamped the menu and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced, especially during their 5-7 pm happy hour where everything was half off including top shelf alcohol and bottles of wine.

I went during happy hour and found it wonderful. Troy was AWESOME!!! The food was really good too :) I had the Lobster Bisque, which was more like a really good tomato soup with pieces of lobster in it. But the lobster was tender and matched the soup base well. Be sure to try their bread. It was great for dipping. Then I tried the Seared Scallops tapas with garlic butter and asparagus tips. Everything was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. Looking forward to going back to try something else!!

Every entree was excellent

Rib eye on bone, Oscar filet, triple lobster, filet and crab, and desert was incredible! Forgot, chicken Milanese was also great!

Surprisingly Undiscovered Premium Dining!

By NiTiJo |

This was our first time in this restaurant and boy were we pleasantly surprised. The ambience was elegant and romantic, food was delicious, and service was terrific. They have happy hour the first and last hour of the days they are open which is wed - sun. This is a great dining option off the strip. We will definitely go back.

Tender filet mignon cut with a fork

By pjm1128 |

Ordered a special: 6 oz filet mignon, salad, veggie, glass of wine, and small creme brulee dessert. The steak was done perfectly and was so tender it about melted in your mouth. I would have liked a different wine but there were limitations on what you could order as part of the special. The portion sizes were perfect and the service was excellent. I would definitely eat there again.

If You Visit Silverton, Eat Here

By Even_Stephen |

I happened to be in the Silverton when I suddenly found myself outside Twin Creeks just after opening. I was hungry, so in I went. This is a very nice room. All the nice linens and china that a good steakhouse should have. Service was prompt and attentive without being stuffy. It's a steakhouse, so I had steak. I ordered the filet. What I got was tender, flavorful, and done exactly as I ordered it. But it cost many dollars less than a comparable room on the strip. Most of the entrees come (my term) partially a la carte. That is, soup or salad is included, but sides are extra. The salad was good. I skipped the other sides in favor of desert. Good choice on my part! The Black Forest cake was superb. I'm not sure I'd make the trip here from the strip just for Twin Creeks. But if you're in the Silverton or just find yourself nearby at dinner time, you cannot beat it.

It's part of the Silverton Casino...

By robisinwa |

I have to be honest, we just happened to be in the casino after a long day at the Vegas convention center and decided that we deserved a nice meal, though we weren't really dressed up, etc (my wife and I both had ball caps on). We didn't have a reservation but we got in the door at 530 so it was still early and thankfully our seating was immediate. If we had waited till after say 630, we wouldn't have gotten in as it was full by then. Thursday happened to be half price bottle of wine night. We splurged and got a 3 $ digit bottle, but at half price it was only 2 $'s. Our waiter said he had actually been to the winery we picked so it was a fun conversion piece (we took the cork with us for our cork board). She got the filet, done perfectly. I got the Alaska King Crab legs, already split and ready for eating- was delicious. They have a bread basket they come around with, giving a choice of multiple types/flavors of bread; I got the chocolate stripped slices and they were divine. Being a steakhouse, you order your sides separately and while reasonably priced the portions for 2 were just right (we shared mashed garlic and broccoli). We would definitely visit again and would make a reservation ahead just to make sure we could get in.

Exceeded Ever Expectation

Having been to Las Vegas with the same guys for 22 straight years, we are always on the look out for new places to eat. Being guys that means great steaks, good wine and fabulous service. Twin Creeks met all that criteria and more. Ate there May 5th, 2012 and it was wonderful. I had been to Vegas in April and ate at Sage and Steakcraft and frankly left dinner hungry and $400.00 poorer. At Twin Creeks I left full, satisfied and out only $200.00. Why? Because it isn't on the strip. It is 5 minutes south of the strip on I-15. Each of us tried a different cut of beef, one New York strip, one filet and one prime rib. Baked potatoes, salads and bread. The steaks were huge but dwarfed by the potatos. Each steak was prepared perfectly and was tender and juicy. The condiments for the potatoes were extensive. Best of all the waiters actually knew what they were doing. At Sage and Steakcraft I had to stop the waiters from trying to pour the wine before it was ready. Guess you cant sell the second bottle unless you pour all the wine out while the guests are still in the appertizers. Cabs take time to open and be ready. At Twin Creeks, no rush. We had a Prisoner by Orin Swift and the waiter asked if I wanted it poured right away after tasting it. This wasn't done at the Sage or Steakcraft, there the waiters tried to empty the bottle right away, including pouring wine for a guest drinking a martini and not wanting wine. Then when the waiter returned he asked first and poured more only when granted permission. Clearly someone taught these waiter what customer service is and not to up-sell. Also the prices were excellent. New York strip at Steakcraft, $58, same steak at Twin Creeks, $38. Wine markup at Sage 2.5 times. At Twin Creeks less than double. So get a cab, drive your car and do what you need to do but go south 5 minutes to Twin Creeks, save $200, have better service and eat the same food.

NEVER GO HERE, go up the street for a WAY better Restaurant and Customer Service

By MilesLong069 |

WOW what a terrible experience, we came in right at 5pm for a quick 4 top, and even though there was almost no one there, the Manager said "They were completely booked" which was a lie. Then I asked him if we could move 1 chair to a Bar High Top table so we could have our 4 top and he said NO, then I said, no problem we will just get our food to go, and he said "We aren't doing To Go tonight." REALLY??? REALLY??? Then I told him if he was going to give us an attitude and not help us we would just go to Prime 141, which is a HIGH END Steakhouse just up the street, instead of getting the Rudest, most Unhelpful, and Worst customer service possible from the Restaurant Manager......... Then he actually said to me "I'm sure they are completely booked too." after I already called Prime 141 and they were happy to accommodate us. Thankfully, the Internet lives forever, and when people read this they will want to go to an Absolutely AMAZING Steakhouse just up the street with AMAZING food and AMAZING Customer Service, instead of going to a low end Sizzler quality place with Terrible Customer Service and a epically RUDE Manager. NEVER GO HERE, just go up the street to a far better Restaurant with FAR BETTER Customer Service!

Excellent steakhouse in a casino

By Sharon W |

We celebrated our 50th anniversary with friends at Twin Creeks in the Silverton Casino in Las Vegas. Service was wonderful, food prepared to our liking and overall a great place for a celebration.

Simply astounding

By Leigh D |

Some of the best food I have ever eaten in my life. Tomahawk Rib Eye is a marvel upon meat, and the lobster mac and cheese was to die for. Service was excellent and prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Highly, highly recommended.

Nice meal, service needs working on

By kaptink0d |

As we were staying for a few days over Christmas we decided to give this restaurant a second chance after a bad experience a couple of years ago deciding it must have been a one off. Sat us on time which was surprising as it was quite busy with people having the Christmas lunch special. We ordered salads to start, mine the romaine heart salad and the wife a chopped salad, mine was too much lettuce to dressing and very salty, hers was fine. My wife's condiments arrived way before the main meal arrived, and was a bit sloppy by the time the meal arrived. The steak was cooked perfectly this time (had to butter it last time as so dry), had to request spoons for the sides or use out fingers lol. We sat next to a couple waiting for take out, I may be a fussy sod but they had about 5 bags of food on the seats and table which was a little like a cheap cafe type sight. All in all the food was good but the service could be improved to other steak house standards.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food

This restaurant has ambiance, decor and taste. Will go back again. The food is delicious and the decor of the restaurant is gorgeous.

DISAPPOINTED

By jeffn960 |

The waitstaff initially was prompt however as we waited and waited we felt there would be a problem. There was. My wife's steak arrived well done (she had ordered it rare),and my prime rib was cold. We sent the food back. A long time later my wife's steak arrived and appeared to be rare however my prime rib arrived VERY COLD. It wasn't even heated. We asked for the manager and he made a big deal about comping me my meal. What meal did he comp me? My first meal was sent back to the kitchen and my second meal was such a disappointed that they threw it away. The result...........my wife had dinner alone and I never ate dinner. When I complained the next day to the food and beverage supervisor he thank me for my comments and made no offer to correct the disaster we had the previous night. We will not return to eat at a restaurant that can'tpreare the food properly and when they receive a complaint, they completely blow it off

Great value and Quality

By shoeindynutz29 |

After a long flight to Vegas from the North East we settled into the Silverton Casino Hotel and promptly headed for the steak house for a nice relaxing meal. Delicious everything. Fillet and Lobster tail was ordered by most in our party and was perfect. Asked if the chef could make us a Lobster Mac and Cheese to share and was delighted that he did. So tasty! Incredible assortment of breads to start dinner. Sides were also large and delicious. Perfect dinner for night one in Vegas. Will return!!

Great Food!

Twin Creeks at the Silverton in Las Vegas is a Great Steakhouse ! The seafood appetizer plate was huge and the filet was cooked perfectly. My wife had the seared scallops and they were delicious. Service was great and the prices were much less than comparable places on the Strip. Highly recommended!

Very Disappointed...

By Michael H |

We were excited to dine for our second time. The first was an amazing experience which you can read about in my other review. This last time was anything but. I ordered the Filet Oscar for my girlfriend costing $50.00. After a few small bites she asked me to taste it because it was strange. So I did...and the crab was fishier than Lake Michigan - It was disgusting. I asked the server about it and he said its frozen and thawed in the morning then used throughout the day. Frozen crab, crab in a can, fresh caught can all be DELICIOUS! This was spoiled and inedible. Our server was very hospitable about the incident and offered to make a new filet (without the oscar topping) We excepted. I asked our server if the Chef had tasted the crab, (I was a chef for years and would always try my food before I served it/if food came back) He informed the the chef did not try it and insisted that it was good. The new filet came back and it was a bit strange. My girlfriend ate almost half and then we boxed the rest. Later that night she was extremely ill. We thought it was the crab. It wasn't, because the next day she took the filet to work for lunch and an hour after eating it she became ill again. We will never dine here again and I will never recommend it to anyone. P.S. The filet AND the oscar topping were still on the bill. Never again.

A great dining experience

By John U |

We come here frequently. Great ambiance, love the food. Spouse is a steak person. Me? I like fish --- the salmon and halibut are wonderful. Something to keep in mind, if you like the veges of another entree…just ask for your entree with that "setup." The chef will accommodate. Attentive wait staff. We ask for Peter, but all are good. Enjoy!

Better than Flemings

By sspc |

This was my first time at Twin Creeks inside the Silverton Casino. I was very impressed with the food, the service the ambiance and the music. Rob our waiter told us that he was responsible for the great soundtrack playing in the background. It only added to our enjoyment of the restaurant. I compared it to Flemings but Twin Creeks wins out hands down. Better food by far and as you might recall the rock music playing at Flemings is awful, I have to try to block it out while eating. So if it's a toss up choose Twin Creeks, you won't be disappointed.

Best Deal and Food in Vegas

Lovely Atmosphere, Professional Service & Delicious Food and Drink

By HawaiiKaiGail |

This restaurant and bar never lets us down. Located inside the very pretty Silverton Casino and Hotel, this is one of our favorite steak restaurants. Happy hour in the bar area with good deals on drinks and food. The restaurant is stylish and a bit dark, giving it a bit of formal feel. Lovely rock wall on the backside that changes color. Most of the staff have been here for years. Our server was Lee, who has waited on us before. The drinks were generous and just the right amount of liquor. Yum! They come around with a delicious looking bread basket that you can choose from. The pecan bread was unique. So good. Butter just a bit on the room temp side for easy spreading. We treated ourselves to a tomahawk steak for 2 that comes with one side. We ordered the au gratin potatoes and a side of grilled asparagus. All the items ordered came out hot and just as ordered. The steak was presented cut off the large bone. It was delicious. I can highly recommend. So much we brought some home. Never a rush. This is the type of place to spend an evening...not an eat and go place. The dessert menu was tempting but we passed. We were there just over 2 hours by choice. Our bill was $130.00 with the above food mentioned and 4 drinks, before gratuity. We wish the patrons who dine would dress a bit nicer, after all, it is a classy restaurant. But, many don’t :( So, go and enjoy this wonderfully nice restaurant and be prepared to enjoy. All good. 5 STARS.

Great steak house

Our stakes as were not t cooked to our liking. But Joshua, our waiter made sure we were happy. It took 3 tries but the staff made sure we were completely satisfied. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Top notch staff.

Excellent!!

Our steaks were grilled perfectly! The mushroom risotto was also delicious! The staff were all very friendly stopping by to visit even those not directly responsible for table!! We definitely will return!!!

Deliciousness!

By Patty D |

Wonderful steakhouse. One of the few high end steakhouses you don't have to be too dressed up to go to! Located in the Silverton Casino. I had the T-bone which was huge! Too much to finish in one meal and hubs had the ribeye. Both cooked to perfection, med rare. Service was excellent. Tip: Get a players card and get up to $50 off your meal! The only thing I didn't care for was the creamed spinach, just too mushy for me, but if you like creamed spinach its probably fine.

Mi Casa and Twin Creeks are combined at this time. Depending upon availability and reservations you may sit on either side. Both Restuarants very good - excellent service by Alex as always ! Appreciate seeing Mgr Gina, Host Lira, busser Irma and many more! All very nice, pleasant, helpful and attentive wait staff. Miss Su Casa!!! - sushi part of Restuarant - Chef Shawn’s recipes ! Appreciate them deconstructing my taco salad, tacos very good - chicken, Carnitas and Carne Asada and Sizzling pork all very tasty ! Chef Antonio always serving up great food !

great food at a reasonable price

By Elise S |

nice relaxing atmosphere, while prices are mostly a la carte you get a generous portion that is easily shared. The chef is very accommodating, I often order scallops Oscar style, yummy that was removed from menu but I have never been turned down and others with me have asked for dishes they've had before but don't see on current menu and the chef always come through with the dish. Wait staff is also very attentive and friendly and knowledgable about all menu items

Intimate, Great Service and Food

By nielsh928 |

I have eaten there several times now. The staff are warm and wonderful, efficient and professional. The assortment of pre meal artisan breads are fantastic. The Rock Shrimp a favorite appetizer and Prime Rib Steak my go to main dish. A few times I have felt like eating lighter and gone in for just the Rock Shrimp and a Caesar and that is a great call. I am not a desert person so cannot comment on that. My mother had the salmon and was impressed.

Amazing

By dcmal |

Very GOOD! We went here after stopping at the Bass Pro Shop! We stumbled upon a gem! Our group mostly ordered steak or seafood and everyone loved their food. My steak was amazing.

Great Food and Hospitality.

By Michael H |

We dined here for dinner on 1/22/15 for the first time and were very impressed. The decor is modern with low lighting and a great, "Fire meets Water" rock wall in the main dining room. I started with the Lobster Bisque which was good...not the best, but better than Joes Stone Crab. My girlfriend had the Spinach Salad with Fried Goat Cheese and shallots with a warm burgundy dressing. Yum! What a perfect starter. We then had the NY and Filet, both Medium Rare. They were delicious. Same quality steak you can find on the strip but for half the price and with Great Hospitality. I prefer Great Service and Good Food to Great food and Good service. Here, they do everything Great. The General Manager came by our table half way through dinner to make sure everything was satisfactory. It was. I will definitely recommend Twin Creeks to my guests and friends.

Great find

By klingkitten |

I love this casino off the strip, but was reluctant to eat there. I was wrong. Great atmosphere and prime rib was quite tasty, with an original au jus to go with it. Sides were fresh and good, and of course, pretty good wine selection. Service was so-so - bartender seemed pre-occupied, but would definately try it out.

Inconsistent tapas

By westie2 |

Due to a plane delay, we arrived in Las Vegas later than planned and decided on having a light snack before turning in. In the bar/lounge area of this restaurant, tapas are served that are currently being discounted by 50% beginning at 8PM. We shared orders of bacon wrapped dates (4.5 Forks out of a possible 5), a trio of BBQ prime rib sliders (3 Forks) and piquillo peppers stuffed with garlic cream cheese w/marinara (2.5 Forks). The only problem with these tapas has been consistency. We have had the dates served with little balsamic reduction sauce, but this evening’s were among the best. Conversely, the piquillo peppers were smaller and less tangy than in the past. Win some; lose some, but this remains a great deal in any case. ($15.97) We returned later in the trip for the ½ priced tapas starting off toasted almond martinis which have an in-house made cream base with vanilla beans. (4.5 Sips) We also ordered meatballs (3 Forks) and bacon wrapped dates (2.5) The tapas were good, but the kitchen’s problems with consistency were once more in evidence. There was almost no balsamic reduction sauce with the dates. I think we will have to keep going back until they get it right. LOL

Don’t waste your BIG $$$$

By Leanne T |

The toughest steak and the baked potato was hard. I have never had a steak so tough and the baked potato was firm on the inside. Potatoes freshly made are soft and fluffy but after having it cool and sit out it becomes firm. The butter would not melt on the potato. Save your big $$$ and eat at the Mexican restaurant or coffeeshop has the best Prime Rib. You’re welcome.

Contender for Best Steakhouse in Las Vegas

By Michael D |

The Twin Creeks Steakhouse at the Silverton Casino at the south end of the Strip is a great contender for Best Steakhouse in Las Vegas along with the Steakhouse in, of all places, Circus Circus, and the off the strip "strip mall" Golden Steer. These three outstanding steakhouses serve steaks and fixings as good if not better than any of the name joints in the hotel/casino complexes and for a hell of a lot less $$$. Twin Creeks is a definite don't miss while in Vegas!

WOW, this is a awesome !!!

By Rene Meinert |

Great steak house in Las Vegas. Nice ambience, fair prices, absolute wonderful steak. My recommendation: House Salat with Balsamic Dressing, Filet Mignon 10oz + Au Gratin Potato.

Great experience

By Michael P |

We dined here for our anniversary. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who sat us immediately. When we got to the booth, there was a happy anniversary card that was signed by the staff. (Great touch!) The restaurant decor is cowboy (not yeehaw!) but tastefully done. The lighting is also a very dark. They let us order off of a happy hour menu. We had the broiled oysters with ponzi aioli and bacon wrapped dates. The oysters were perfectly cooked and the sauce, it was delicious! The bacon wrapped dates were equally delicious with a blue cheese crema that paired perfectly with the sweetness of the dates. For drinks, I had a old fashioned and she had a Paloma. If you like old fashions, this place does them right. For apps, I had the carpaccio and she had the beet and spinach salad. The carpaccio, the best I've ever had! The pickled mushrooms and truffle aioli complimented the beef so well. The wife loved her salad too. For entrees, I had the ribeye cap and she had the new York. I've never had a ribeye cap. It was amazing. So tender and flavorful. If you see one on the menu, get it! Her steak was delicious too. For sides, we got the Brussels sprouts and truffle fries. This place does brussel sprouts perfect. Bacon in the pomegranate reduction with pomegranate arils, was so good. The truffle fries were great too. In the end, they brought out a little anniversary panna cotta. It was so delicious, and I was so full, but it to be done... Thanks to Ally and Erma who were our server team. Very professional and did a great job. We had a amazing dining experience. The service was great, All of the food we ordered was delicious. Definitely one of the best steakhouses we've been to.

Not Worth The Money

By daw45 |

We were disappointed. We hadn't been here in awhile and figured we would try it again. Our last trip was great...food, service, drinks were top notch. This time it took 15 minutes after we were seated before someone came to our table. They brought our drinks and said they would be by with bread in a minute. 15 minutes later they came by with a selection of bread and asked us to choose which kind we wanted. Why don't they do like all other restaurants and leave a selection at the table? We felt like they were being cheap. When they finally took our order, we waited a while for our food. When it came out, our steaks were not cooked as we had asked and the quality was very poor. My ribeye had zero marbling and was well done. My wife's New York was very thick , well done and has the consistency of a roast. Neither of them were seasoned. We had to put butter and salt & pepper on them. I waited to see if our waitress would come ask how our steaks were so we could tell her, but she didn't come back so we made due. When spending this kind of money, we expected much better.

Great Steaks and Staff

By Jon U |

Bar tender was extremely accommodating letting us try some different mixed drinks. Steaks are outstanding, I had the NY Strip very nice. Nice wine list, have some more affordable wine to enjoy with dinner.

What a surprise!

By Bob B |

I had been to this restaurant several years ago. I was good the, but not worth the drive from the Strip area. Last week I was working at the National Assoc. of Broadcasters Show, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This draws more than a hundred thousand people. So, the las thing I wanted to do all week was try to get in any strip restaurant. There were three of us going to the good 'local' restaurants in the area all week. I had a thought about going to Bass Pro Shops, then the Twin Creeks came to mind. It is south of the city, which is in the Silverton, along with Bass ProShops. The place had gone a complete renovation from western tacky and antlers, to what I saw as a wonderful fusion of rustic and modern. One accent wall was unique, with stone, color changing lighting and water reflection effects. Since we had invited two customers, we sat at a table for six. It was an elongated table with sofas on each side. Yes, sofas!. With long pillows that you could sit on, or, as I did, put it at my lower back. Super comfort. The service was impeccable from a team of friendly wait staff. It was the best service I remember, and I travel a lot and eat out a lot. Now for the food: Excellent. The beef was fantastic. One of us had the prime rib and was still talking about it the next day. Presentation: Beautiful. If you are staying in town, and don't have a rental car, you will need to taxi there. Get a rate; it is at I-15 and Blue Diamond Rd. Suggestion: Go take a walk at Bass ProShops an hour or two before your dinner time. You will enjoy the spectacle. Exiting the Bass ProShops you can see one of the huge tanks made by the "Tanks, TV Show" and two bikes by Orange County Choppers, play some slots and go to eat.

Our favorite must-go in Vegas.

By Jkr0928 |

We love the food, ambulance, staff and if course the amazing happy hour! The small plates and specials are half off during happy hours, and more than enough fora meal!

ALWAYS WONDERFUL

What a wonderful restaurant;. We visit Las Vegas every year and ALWAYS eat at Twin Creeks. Wonderful food and staff. Thank you again to Nadine. What a pleasure to see you again

Excellent Food and Service at Twin Creeks Steakhouse

By Alan_Wpg |

We went for dinner at Twin Creeks Steakhouse in the Silverton Hotel and Casino. I had the Rack of Lamb at $44 and it was done perfectly and I enjoyed it very much. My wife had the Halibut at $26 and it came with Asparagus Risotto and she said that it was very good and she would order it again. The wait staff did an excellent job of serving us and the dinner was perfect. The wait staff was very attentive. I have been here 4 times in the last 6 months for dinner and each time it was just great. I also have come here for happy hour in the lounge another 4 times in the last 6 months and each time the happy hour drinks and small bites have been fantastic and we have been well cared for by the wonderful staff at this restaurant. Much better food and service than the high end restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip. The Silverton is only a 7 minute drive from the strip so it is easy to get here with a car and still be on time to get back to see a show in the evening.

Well worth a visit.

By Hiker90 |

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal as well as superb service. Would highly recommend.

Poor quality steak

By Dave K |

I ordered the tomahawk steak, I was VERY disappointed. It was stringy, chewy and tasteless. I spoke to a couple of waiters, one ignored me the other didn’t seem to care. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone and I certainly wouldn’t be back again

I joined the players club at the Silverton Casino and got a $50 off coupon for the restaurants in the casino. We chose this. We had the $40 deal. It was good. Waiter was awesome.

Worst service in the city, had to walk out

By AltGol |

I was staying at the Silverton on business and looked forward to a steak dinner after a day of work with my client. I had made a reservation the night before and was seated promptly. A waitress introduced herself, went over the menu, and took my drink order. She brought the drink, and then disappeared. And I really mean disappeared. After over 15 minutes (yes) I got the attention of the hostess and asked what was going on. The waitress then finally appeared and said "I'm sorry, I was just busy." Indeed! Told the hostess I wanted to pay for the drink and leave. She comped the drink and offered another waitress. I wanted nothing else to do with that place. As I was leaving I could say the place was less than a third full. Totally ridiculous, never again.

First visit was so worth it !!

By has6954 |

This restaurant is located in the Silverton Casino on Blue Diamond near the Las Vegas Strip. It offers a varied menu with steaks and seafood being the main selections. I had the 8 oz. filet which was cooked to perfection. It was extremely flavorful and was delicately charred . My wife had the bone in 16 oz Rib Eye which she ordered medium and was cooked perfectly. She said it was one of the top 3 rib eyes she has ever had . That was quite a compliment to this place . The soups and salads are $5-6 dollars and all the sides, of which there is a huge number to choose from are all priced at $5.00. The sides are enough for two in most cases . They serve the baked potatoes with a unique plate that contains the sour cream, chives and bacon, along with the butter so that you can concoct your own loaded baker . The entree, Wedge salad with Maytag Blue Cheese dressing and potato totaled $49.00 a very good price for a steak house with this kind of quality . Service was excellent with drinks being refreshed often and the bread basket refilled as well . Nice atmosphere. I would recommend reservations, especially if on a w/e .

Great value!!

By FreedomBus |

It has been a couple of years since we have visited Twin Creeks and we found it better than ever! The decor is very subtle and the atmosphere is quiet. Service was friendly & very efficient. They offered a bone-in ribeye special which was wonderful. Cooked to perfection and very tender. Sides are good. Nice presentation. Prices are very reasonable. This may be the best value in Las Vegas!!!

Had the crab legs and they were huge and so delish!! Also had lobster tails, mashed potatoes and martinis. Everything was so good it should have iilegal!!! Best part was our server Natalie.. so good at her job and really seems to enjoy her job. We appreciate her doing her job so well! We will be back next month 👍

why do i let her keep talking me into this place

By HunterDave3006 |

this may just be me the last time we were there i ordered salmon with mashed potatoes the place was nice and clean and very upscale i guess is a good way to put it i ordered the salmon because it came with mashed potatoes i thought sweet WRONG this is the only place i have ever seen that serves potatoes without gravy i did not complain about how dry it was but the server noticed i did not eat and tried to find gravy or even butter nope so they gave me a dish with burnt sugar and took my meal off the bill

Don't miss a meal here

By mzellie19 |

Excellent food and service. Have eaten here multiple times over several trips and it has become one of the things we look forward to on our trip. The menu is varied. Husband loves seafood - I do not. He is choosy and not so easy to please. He raves about the seafood. The fillet is beyond belief. I thouroughly enjoy our dinners here as well as "a bite" during happy hour.

Excellent Local Value

By Kevin C |

Twin Creeks, in the Silverton Casino Lodge, is one of our favorite places to enjoy prime rib and steak. The food is delicious and reasonably priced considering the high quality, and service has always been very good. For a treat, try their bourbon or rye flights - a selection of four aged whiskies in tasting size for comparison. We have never been disappointed in the overall quality of this restaurant, and the peaceful, intimate atmosphere. Great for couples on a date!

Leaving Las Vegas

By hhenry57 |

We have always tried to go a little fancier on our last night in Vegas dinner. We hit a home run at this place. Service was good the food was well done and very tasty. The only complaint is that the place is very dark and the menus are written with very small print.

Great Happy Hour

By DennisRD |

You can get filled up at the Twin Creeks Happy Hour starting at 5:00. A great selection of small plates and drinks for half off! They have a very attentive wait staff. The surf and turf and the prime rib sliders are excellent.

Nice sauce on pork belly

By A B |

Nice presentation and attentive service. Salad not above average but dressing very nice. Bacon wrapped dates nicely done. Creamy inside and mellow blue cheese sauce. Tempura shrimp delicately fried, not overcooked and rubbery. Pork belly tender but had a couple of tough burned pieces...like at bottom of pan. The cauliflower was stated to be marinated in fermented lemon but couldn't taste at all. Bread selection was the bomb! Scallops tender....almost undercooked but that's a fine line. Overall, nothing stuck out as a star dish. Nice but didn't knock my socks off. The staff were friendly, quick, and professional though we were using points and coupons that felt like it was irksome for server.

A good value steak restaurant

Went to eat here as we were staying next door at The Berkley. Nice meal with a good prime rib meal - would return on another visit.

Birthday dinner

By sigmonw |

We went to the Twin Creek's Steakhouse in the Silverton casino to celebrate my wife's birthday. I had reserved a booth and told them it was for her birthday in advance. I was happy to see they remembered both and said us in a very nice private booth. Our servers were both great and came to check on us often. We we started out with the lobster bisque(shared). We ordered a bone in filet for my wife, a Porter house for me, and creamed corn and creamed spinach as siides. Her state was cooked exactly right for a medium. That being a hot pink center. However mine was supposed to have been medium also but was more medium well as there was no hot pink center anywhere. Next time I'll know to ask for medium rare. Dessert was on the house because it was her birthday and was a nice touch. The cake was excellent.

A hidden gem

Now, this is a hidden gem. Hidden in the dark recesses of the Silverton Casino is a steakhouse worthy of its salt. Pass by the kitschy (and somehow deeply troubling) aquarium where you can sometimes see underwater a human pretending to be a mermaid, and amazingly outsized fish who, amazingly, seem to give off outsized "attitude," and go through the casino floor. You will run into "Twin Creeks," standing unassumingly, and with some dignity, inviting you in. Once past the open portal, you are greeted by an exceedingly friendly and tastefully dressed hostess (this is not to be overlooked in Las Vegas), who will speak to you as though she really cares and thinks you are a VIP. That is a nice change! The restaurant is remarkably and surprisingly tasteful and smart (especially considering it is inside what can be fairly thought of as a tacky casino). Lighting is subdued, but not dark. The decor is stately and traditional, with hints of whimsy and contemporary creativity. The servers are Johnny-on-the-Spot with your drinks order, and a basket is presented with warm, and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS choices of bread. I went for 1 each of the cheese bread, and raisin and nut slice. The latter, in particular, was so good you feel you could live off that forever. "Bread and water" never tasted so good. (That is not to be disrespectful to those serving time in jail.) The main server, our waiter, Deonte, was a dream. Truly classy, knowledgeable, confident, without being pushy. He brought the 5-star experience. You could have been at any fine dining steakhouse in the city with a server like that. He suggested I get the ribeye, and so I did. It was stunning. A huge (22 ounce) piece of meat, cooked to perfection. The seasoning was extraordinary. Just the right amount of salt! And all over the steak. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy, with the tasty flavor of garlic, without being overpowering. The sautéed mushrooms were also perfect. The wedge salad was as good as that at any steakhouse I've been to here, including Bavette's Steakhouse. Dessert was a trio of sorbets (passionfruit, grapefruit, and watermelon), as well as a huge slice of chocolate cake. You can get all of this without breaking the bank, too. Tax and tip for two, with 2 glasses of wine for my business partner, and fine bottled water for me, came to about $150.00. For a 5-star steakhouse experience in Las Vegas? You can't beat that.

Date Night

From the entrance, we felt very special. The greeters were so welcoming. We made reservations, and the dress code is business casual. No tank tops. The food was done to perfection. Filet minon and yam. They bring out a few pieces of the the four types of bread they have. The waitress and waitor were very attentive. They answered all of our questions with no hesitation. It was a comfortable restaurant, and romantic for the special someone. Beautiful decor, but dark lighting. Wonderful food, but it is a la carte. Will go back due to wonderful service and great food.
