During a recent visit to Seattle, we asked the lovely ladies at Marakesh Leather Goods located in the Pike's Place Market for a recommendation for good sushi. They listed several but Umi was at the top of the list. The food was amazing. We were so happy with the variety and freshness of the food that we ate dinner here twice during our visit. They have very good happy hour specials. We highly recommend it.

We love sushi and sake and found this gem less than 500m from our hotel. Friday nights are very busy here so we booked for an early (5pm) slot to avoid the hordes. Our waitress was really helpful to us in choosing sensible portions. The sake flight (5 excellent sakes) was devine. Well done!

Walked here after a day at the aquarium and Pike Place Market. Happy hour menu was good from 4-6 and we were able to slide in to a table for 2 without a reservation on a Monday night at 4:30 pm. We tried the miso, tuna sashimi, California roll, spicy ginger chicken and hot sake. Everything was fresh, had good flavors, and was well prepared. The spicy ginger chicken was so strongly sauced that we declined to eat the onions and spinach beneath it. Wait staff was efficient and competent. Atmosphere was pleasant. Nothing really jumped out at us as exceptional, but this was a good value for sushi dinner.

The place is hype and well decorated. Waiters are casual, friendly and very efficient. Their menu is simply overwhelming by the choice of sushi, sashimi or rolls. Rolls come nicely displayed on king plate. The taste is simply amazing as many unexpected ingredients complement regular rolls ingredients. A place to go

Had dinner with some friends. Great choice of food and sake - overall tasty and better than standard Japanese food. Service was slow and I didn't like to poor lights table at all.

Four of us enjoyed dinner. We had miso soup and seaweed salad for appetizers. We had a sushi plate and California roll. My friend and I had a Japanese beer and one our friends tried the sake. All was good and the service was also. We would definitely go back to Um Sake House.

Decent place with a fairly good menu. I got the crispy tuna roll which was good nd the sashimi which was decent. Would go back.

We were advised this was a must eat seafood food place and we are glad we listened!! Great Prices!! Killer Sushi!! Yummm!!

A total 5. My husband and I ate here on our recent vacation to Seattle . I am pretty familiar with Japanese food and this place kinda blew my mind . The Seaweed salad was so delicious, it really made me stop several times to appreciate it. Sushi rolls were excellent, with strong ginger presence, they slice their ginger thick ! Overall, I would definitely come here again. Great experience

The restaurant has a unique decor with spacious dining area. The server was very pleasant and efficient; she was able to take our order and deliver our food in a timely manner while also attending to other tables. The special rolls were amazing! My personal favourites are the Ladybug roll and the Legend of the rolls. I look forward to returning and recommend other sushi lovers to make reservations and give Umi a try.

Very flavorful dishes. The steamed cod was very palatable - taste and texture were spot on. The restaurant’s decor invites relaxation. Make sure to have a reservation. Even that will not guarantee No Wait. Maybe management needs to review operational practice?

The size of this place is deceiving from the front. It was pleasantly decorated and laid out with some comfortable couch and chair seating if you did not want to sit at a dining table. They have some good happy hour deals. The sushi I tried was just average to me although I would try it again. They have some unusual rolls that you don't find at a typical sushi restaurant.

Their happy hour menu is amazing, & the atmosphere was bubbly. The staff at the bar was attentive and made some good suggestions. We had: spicy tuna roll- it was amazing seaweed salad - standard crunchy cali roll- a bit too much cream cheese for my taste sushi set a- yum! crispy prawn - super flavorful shrimp wrapped in egg noodle with sweet chili sauce.

We went for happy hour. And still spent 75$ .sake great rolls a wonderful chicken dish . Very comfortable atmosphere. Was a hi light of food in Seattle. Would go again for happy hour. Normal time would be 200$ not worth it then

Absolutely Excellent Sushi!! Found Umi thru Yelp and we were so darn happy. Started with two signature cocktails recommended by our waitress and they were fabulous, drinks came with a big plate of perfectly salted Edamame. We ordered: 6 pieces of daily special Fatty Toro Sashimi and it truly melted in your mouth. 9 pieces of Yellowtail Sashimi and it was perfect. Big Kahuna roll and it was my wife's favorite roll in years. California roll (must have) and the crab was terrific. Service a 10 Quality of food a 10 Value a 10+ If you want Sushi while in a Seattle Umi is an absolute must visit!

We went to Umi for a family dinner. We were able to get in without a reservation, hostess did some finagling to make it happen, which was awesome. Food and service were excellent, large portions on the noodle bowls that ended up coming home. Highly recommend!

The ambiance was great! The drink menu was extensive - great selection of whiskey and sake. The sushi was great, too.

Giulia is a FANTASTIC server at the sushi bar. Great knowledge of the menu, great timing and personality... and a nice person. The fish was fresh as could be...standouts were the toro poke. So much tuna. The crispy rice sampler...OMG I could eat three. Great gyoza. Great rolls.... once you choose from the exhaustive list. I really love this place!!

Had reservations at 5:45 for dinner and just made it for last call for happy hour from 4-6. We ordered primarily rolls from the happy hour menu, but there was a huge selection of sushi, sashimi and specialty rolls on their regular menu. Tried the lobster tempura appetizer... great presentation and tasted good. The food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Had a combination of cooked and raw sushi rolls. The waitress was nice and our water was constantly filled. An attentive staff.

This is a large restaurant simply but tastefully decorated. The only negative aspect is the noise. They have a large selection of sushis, sashimis, makis, and other Japanese specialties. Some of the rolls, very innovative. We strongly recommend the rainbow tartare. The service was excellent. We’d love to go back there.

Came for happy hour and glad we didn't have to pay full price. Yikes were things expensive. The fish was fresh and nicely presented. The specialty rolls were huge, but so was the price. And the spice level was beyond edible. We're used to using the soy and wasabi to spice to our tastes, but several of our nigeri and rolls came blazingly spiced. Between the poor acoustics, loud music and screaming children we could not hear ourselves talk. Nor could we hear the waitress. The place was packed, and social distancing was totally ignored. We spent a fortune and came away dissatisfied with the whole experience. Too many other great sushi restaurants nearby to try rather than come back here.

We ordered oysters, sushi, sashimi, their famous rolls, beef, gyoza and tempura ice cream as dessert. Their oysters, sushi and sashimi are all very fresh and top notch, but I have to say I can find good Japanese restaurants that serve similar standards back home. What we found that made this place special and memorable for us is their rolls. They are so creative with them and taste amazing. The tempura ice cream sounded so interesting, so even though we were so full, we still ordered one to share and it was so good! The portions at this place (or Seattle in general?) are pretty big, which makes it good for sharing. One bowl of plain rice is more than double the size in any Japanese restaurants I've been to before.

I was in town for 2 nights and had dinner there both nights. Had it 10 years ago, then 5 years ago and now in 2018. The place just has a great vibe and the prices are right. I literally cant go anywhere in the US for sushi and not compare it to Umi. Well done again!

Do not understand why so many reviewers think this is one of the best Sushi restaurants in the World/USA/Seattle. Nothing, absolutely nothings leads me to this same conclusion. If you look at their endless list of rolls you see about half contain a version of the same sauce, spicy mayo, spicy mayo crab, etc. Does the kitchen lack any originality that they are relegated to just tossing this sauce on every roll and changing the name just to ring up 35+ rolls on the menu? I ordered the Panda roll which was bland, tasteless and over priced. I started my meal with Toro sushi, at $10 per piece it's very pricey but the quality was top notch, clean, fresh, buttery, just what you come to expect from Toro. I also ordered one of the specialty cocktails, gun street girl with Sotol and blood orange. Very good drink. I was also impressed by the deep and extensive list of Japanese whiskey offerings. For those interested in sampling the best that Japan has to offer in whiskey this place looks like a good spot. I finished my meal with a salmon sushi sampler; three different salmon sushi pieces, everyone different but fresh and of high quality. I did notice inconsistent cutting of fish, some slices were much thicker than others, etc. All in all just an average meal.

Umi has the best sushi for the price point! Love that everything is fresh. We've never had bad service or a bad experience. HH prices are amazing and great for getting drinks and splitting food with friends. We take all of our friends here when they come in from out of town.

If you make it for happy hour, 4-6 every day, they have a nice size selection. Some of the locals recommended this place to me and I see why. Sushi rolls are delicious and well prepared. I was quite shocked getting a small plate of edamame before ever a glass of water. Edamame was steamed to perfection. Sadly, I've never been to another restaurant that gives free edamame. Just another great perk to this place! Plenty of great sakis to choose from. We ended up having 6/7 colds and a house.

We had early reservations at 5:00 on a Saturday night. The restaurant was packed! We made it on time for Happy Hour so our dinner was almost entirely Happy Hour items. I ordered the salmon sashimi don. Excellent flavor and so fresh. The tempura was delicious as was all the various sushi we ordered. One thing that was a bit irritating, we had a table for 8. On the website the time limit states 2.5 hours for parties over 6 persons yet the hostess came over to us 3 times saying we had to be out in 1.5 hours. Each time we said we’d do our best. By the 3rd time we were thoroughly irritated. Food was excellent but staff should know be schooled in their own policies.

The sushi was great - the fish in the nigiri was tender and very fresh. Place was packed - recommend reservations. Service was excellent and the Sake was fantastic - haven't seen what I've been looking for in Sake since we ate sushi in Portland....

Prices seemed high to us, but we'd never been to Seattle before. The extensive sake menu had us way out of our league, but for those who know sake, I'd bet this would be awesome. Most of our nigiri pieces were good, but not fantastic melt in your moth like we've had elsewhere. I was disappointed in the unagi. It was dry and chewy - almost like it had been heated and topped with sauce sometime well before my order. The salmon sampler was interesting to try 3 different types side by side. The Seattle Roll was the hit of our entire order (and my husband ordered omakase, and usually hates rolls). The contrast of textures and tastes was fantastic! Service was friendly and relatively fast. The atmosphere was inviting, spacious and clean, as well as welcoming.

We went to this sushi place with friends and enjoyed a stylist, trendy atmosphere and good sushi. We also went to Shiro's-- and while we felt Shiro's had better sushi overall, this place has a more fun atmosphere. So where to get sushi in Seattle depends on your preference!

The place is very nice, you must try, very friendly staff. And really good specials. Crab soup is one of the best.

Good sushi but the place itself was not looking all to clean and special. Maybe we are spoiled in Europe with our sushi, it just didn’t compare

My wife and I visited Umi Sake House on the recommendation of a friend. Being our first trip to Seattle we had high expectations for fresh seafood. Umi Sake House did not disappoint. The sushi rolls were excellent. It's clear the chef knows his craft although, he seemed a bit moody and rude by handing us our food with a grunt and simple "here" and shoving the plate at us as we sat at the sushi bar. Seating isn't great, noise levels are high. Wait staff seems friendly but not happy working there. Prices at happy hour are reasonable. You'll love the food, but don't expect a fancy atmosphere or a lot of friendly personality from the chef!

Arrived for happy hour to a very busy restaurant, and were seated almost immediately in the bar. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. Very interesting rolls on the menu. Service was awesome for being so busy, and our food was delicious!!

First time to visit this location just because this place has 4 starts from Yelp. I ordered Sashimi Omakase with $60 which from a chef choices.. Really big disappointed with sashimi quality and varieties.. Even I couldn’t finish it all.. it made me really sick.. I really like sushi and tried good sushi in NY, CA, and other states, but this place is the worst place from my list. When I explained to my server about my feeling, he said it was because of a bad weather... I am not sure what he was talking about.. Anyway, not good place for real sushi.. go somewhere..

The place is far larger than the outside seems to suggest with a nice inside patio. The food was good, albeit portions a little small. Unfortunately, service was rushed. Why oh why do I get the check while I am still sipping my beer with friends...? Not the place for you, if you want to enjoy your meal...

The menu has so many options, it was a little overwhelming to narrow down our choices. Everyone sitting around us had such good-looking food! We chose 2 rolls and along with the edamame it was exactly enough food. The rolls are standard sized and they have a great mix of classics and house/regional specialties. We didn't order from the noodles or hot plates sections of the menu, but it was nice to see that there are options for people who aren't big fans of seafood. You could bring a group here and feel confident everyone would find something to eat.

Delicious sushi rolls and sake! We arrived on time for our reservation but earlier patrons weren't clearing out. The staff handled it well and kept us updated. Lively ambiance and good for a date night.

Great Happy Hour menu with quick service. I enjoyed the miso soup, calamari, edamame, sushi roll, and sake. Highly recommend!

I went here for a birthday dinner and didn't know if I would enjoy any of the food since I do not like sushi. I had the Chicken Karaage and it was delicious. Everyone else in our party really raved about the sushi. Really great atmosphere and good service. We absolutely enjoyed our evening there. It was very loud in there but just seemed like part of the lively atmosphere. Parking was hard to find on a Saturday night so would recommend getting there early if you have a reservation.

Very fresh sashimi, interesting rolls and creative cocktails. Fun atmosphere and easy going place. Best to book in advance to insure the spot.

The sushi was fresh, which is to hopefully be expected so close to the water. They had an overwhelming selection of rolls so you’ll likely find some combination that you like. Fair warning, there were more pieces than normally expected in a single roll.

We ordered the seafood salad, dragon sushi and spicy salmon. They tasted fresh and flavourful and the ambiance was great too. Highly recommended

This is a very lively restaurant. Yes, that means a bit noisy but it was a fun atmosphere. Service was delicious and they accommodated my request for a riceless roll. Had a great dinner here on our last night in Seattle.

First, the food is outstanding! HOWEVER, this place is not just noisy, it is “making your ears bleed noisy”. If the management cared, an investment in sound deadening panels would make sense. Third, I suspect that there really is no management. This place is on autopilot. our experience: There were two of us, A and B. A ordered salad and then sushi. B ordered soup and then tempura A’s sushi came instantly after the drinks were put on the table. 10 minutes later, A’s salad came. 15 minutes after that, B’s tempura came then 10 minutes after that B’s soup arrived. What a disjointed hodgepodge way of serving a meal for a couple!

Had a nice girl date here as well as a group outing another time. My girl is from Hawaii and I used to live in Hawaii, so my expectations with sushi are high. The decor makes you feel like you left downtown Seattle and entered a new city. She arrived first and was seated in the plant room. What a gorgeous spectacle! Booths along the outside and tables inside. Great for people watching. The staff was beyond kind! I was catching a cold, so, I started with the miso soup. It was good, not excellent, but good. Then I had the black cod marinated in sweet miso. I think this missed the mark for me entirely. The fish was a bit dry and overcooked, the broth was tasty, but I left half of it, I guess I had something else in mind. But. Let's. Talk Sushi. Blew my mind. Every piece was better than the next. Cut with precision and just melted in your mouth. doesn't get fresher than this. It was very hard to stop ordering! I'm about to get raw right now. Recommendations: unagi, tuna, hamachi, kanpachi, saba Exquisite fish. I am definitely coming back for the atmosphere and as much sushi as I can stuff in my mouth. Oh baby I like it RaWWWWW.

Sashimi selection was solid. Seattle salmon sampler was awesome to try the variety. The rolls were great. Edamame was provided complimentary. Appetizers were a slight American twist and delicious. We tried the dewan yuki sake which is nice and smooth affordable option. Service was so great... they even charged my iPhone while we ate dinner.

Only in Cali I had sushi as good as at Umi. It was delicious! The restaurant was very busy when we went and it was very noisy, to the point that it was annoying. Regardless, the food was perfect and plenty of gluten free options if needed.

My annual visit to the Umi Sake house has become a Seattle tradition. The food is fantastic and many remark as the best sushi in the world due to the variety of different types and flavours. Enjoy the warm sake with inviting atmosphere. Delightful.

We went after reading other reviews. We liked the tea, lobster tempura and the edamame. The sushi seemed squishy and mayonnaisey though mayonnaise was not a listed ingredient. Would try another Japanese restaurant next time.

Really inconspicuous place from the outside, but a large space inside! We went in after an escape room activity here and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and pricing of the food here! Definitely, a must-try when in Seattle!

Specialty rolls are huuuuuge. Service was good. My water glass was always full. We ordered a flight of Sake which I'm not a fan of but my fiance enjoyed it.

Loved everything about this place - the fresh sashimi, unique rolls and the hamachi kama (cheeks) Nice welcoming touch with complimentary edamame. Service was very good without being obtrusive. It gets busy so be sure to book in advance.

As a sushi lover, I was very satisfied with the flavor and presentation. Fish was fresh and tasty and prices were good. Atmosphere was pleasant and inviting.

We at two nights in a row at Umi Sake House, we loved it that much. We ordered the Crunchy Lizard and Flaming Tuna rolls both evenings. Fabulous! This place is very unique inside and has a great, busy vibe

This restaurant serves great food! The setting was fun and great. Highly recommend for a enjoyable evening out. Can be a little noisy.

My Husband & I absolutely loved this place. The vibe is very cool; it’s what I imagine a trendy sushi bar in Japan would be like. You feel like it is the type of place you might run into a celebrity, yet it’s very casual and relaxed. The service was great. Most importantly, the sushi was out of this world. Be sure to share; the portions are gigantic.

We had a group of 6 and ended up sitting in a private room. The portions for the sushi rolls were generous. I ordered the yakisoba and would get something different next time - the mix of vegetables seemed strange to me, but there was a nice amount of crispy chicken in it. Overall our group was happy with the experience. Would definitely make a reservation on a popular night.

The restaurant is very nice and clean. The sushi was so incredibly fresh and tasty. A little pricey but definitely worth it. Highly recommend!!

Great place, surprisingly large and comfortable. Fresh, well prepare sushi and sashimi. Service is prompt and attentive. Worth trying it.

I was here for a late dinner. It was busy but I was seated quickly without a reservation. The menu is extensive and a lot of it looked really good! I was tempted by a lot of the choices. I had the Spicy Coconut Lobster Soup which was delicious and the Takoyaki (on the specials menu) which was also good. The restaurant was very loud because it was so crowded, which was fine for me as I was dining alone but I wouldn't go here for a romantic date or something. Service was good.

Incredibly hostile hostess, and racist server, paired with supermarket-quality sushi rolls (which have gone down from designer sushi to mush questionable mess just over the past ten years). How would you feel, if, after succeeding in making a reservation online (because staff here does not stoop to picking up the phone... ever) - you showed up and the hostess, by means of greeting you, instead of "hello", would inform you that you are to clear your table by 9 pm, as they have other customers coming? (Spoiler alert - when we cleared the premises after 45 minutes, it was half-empty, and the hostess was lurking behind the curtain by the front desk, unable to give an intelligent answer as to where all the patrons have gone. What if your server, during drinks order, informed you that "your accents are very charming but thick, and I can't understand them". (Somehow, in the past 25 years, my co-workers, my neighbors, my family - have no challenge understanding me asking "what is the country of origin of this wine?" - but a 20-something, cute as a button, server could not. Nor could she understand what my friends were saying. Oh yes - must have been all of our thick accents. So rare in Seattle. So... "charming") With that warm welcome from the hostess and the server, we proceeded to enjoy same orders we used to make 5, 10, and even 15 years ago - just a few signature rolls Umi used to be famous for. Apparently, not any more. Mushy rice. Fake crab. Invisible scallop. All that goodness that looked like porridge in all versions of the rolls. What a horrible, hostile, racist, entitled bunch is running this place now. What a shame.

The sushi was awesome. We were told when we got our table that we only had a certain amount of time because we didn't have a reservation. We arrived in late afternoon, so we didn't feel one was necessary. Other than feeling rushed, we enjoyed our dinner.

I grabbed some take out and it was delicious. Had a spicy tuna roll with white salmon which was intensely flavorful. Plan to return when I am in Seattle.

Umi can do no wrong in my eyes. I love it. Every time. Every day. All sushi. All days. I’ve never had a bad sushi here. Their hh is great.

I've been going to Umi for years...like 10. It's a staple when I am in Seattle. There fresh sheet is always super creative w/ rolls, small plates and special sushi selections. Belltown is a great area to walk around ab people watch. You are only a few blocks from the water front... Catch a sunset after dinner!

Busy, noisy, energetic and the food was very good. Everything felt very trendy Downtown Seattle vibes. My only suggestion is make sure you have a reservation.

Umi Sake House had the best of everything. My husband and I had a flight of 5 Sake. Our server helped us out and really knocked it out of the park. It was exactly what we wanted and loved! We had 4 sushi rolls, 3 we had already decided we wanted, and one he suggested, and all 4 were great. This was by far the best experience we have had with sushi and Sake. We are from out of town but we will be back before we leave next week!! Thank you for a great meal and atmosphere!

I don't normally post reviews but I feel I must warn you not to eat here. I am confused as to why this place has so many good reviews. First, my rez was for 5:30, arrived right on time and was seated at a low table. I mean seriously, how can one eat comfortably on a coffee table size table? Fortunately we were able to move into the general seating area, which was packed, and overly loud. Our party of 4 started with 2 cocktails and four apps. The drinks arrived well after the apps came out. The food was mediocre at best. The crispy prawns had so many crispy noodles around them that you couldn't even detect there was a prawn in it. The tempura we had out of the appetizers was the best thing. As we were all still hungry we ordered more food. The menu lists 2-3 pages of specialty rolls. We decided on some nigiri and the tempura roll, caterpillar roll and spider roll. The spider roll tasted like it was prepared the day before. It was cold, hard to chew (overly crispy for some reason) and flavorless. The tempura had cream cheese in it, which made it taste funky. The caterpillar roll was the best out of the 3 we ordered but the slices were so thin, they practically fell apart. The rolls were not rolled tightly either, so they were unravelling and falling apart. For the nigiri, the ratio of the rice was just too much for the piece of fish. There was also an order of karaage, which was probably the most enjoyed dish for the meat eaters at our table. Our server was good but the bussers cleared our table as we were taking off the last pieces of sushi off the plates. We weren't even done with the dipping sauces and they were clearing the table. I would not eat here again, mediocre food that cost over $260, including tip. Much better sushi/Japanese places to eat in Seattle. Would not have minded spending that amount if the food were better. Will not return.

Took the family here for some sushi on our trip to Seattle. We were looking for a place that specialized in rolls and Umi did not disappoint. Wonderful selection of unique and traditional rolls. Fish was fresh, incredibly delicious and the service matched. Ambiance is nice with plenty of seating, an easy walk to the restaurant from Pikes. Tried the Belltown Barbie, the Casino Royale, and a few others. All were amazing and delicious. I’d come back. The only drawback is it was a little pricey on a few of the rolls. $20 roll is a little steep.

Outstanding sushi! All of us said this was the best sushi we’ve ever had. They have a wonderful selection of drinks, as well. The atmosphere is a very cool, modern vibe! Would absolutely return to this place next time we’re in Seattle!

Umi Sake House is currently number 21 in Seattle with 4.5 stars on Tripadvisor. It's number 3 on the list for Sushi. On this Sunday Evening, that certainly was not our experience. Finer dining? Not our experience. We made a reservation 5 days in advance. In my 57 years on this planet, I have NEVER been greeted at the door of a restaurant with this, "You have 1.5 hours at your table until you must leave. We have other people taking your table at that time." No menu was offered. We had to go on our phones using a QR code. The sushi rolls were awful. The one that was supposedly filled with crab meat was particularly bad. No crab to be tasted. We did taste a lot of avocado and cream cheese. The next roll we had was supposed to have tuna in it. Instead we got something deep fried in the roll that resembled chicken. The wait staff NEVER asked us how we were doing. They were quick to take plates away, but the waiter never asked if we liked the food. $80.00 for the sashimi plate. The fish was fresh. They included raw shrimp and raw scallops. Nothing spectacular at all. 40 minutes into the 1.5 hour slot the waiter quickly asked for deserts and then presented the bill. I looked at him and calmly, but seriously told him the sushi was not good. We were not happy. His response? He laughed at me. When I told him I was serious, he kept laughing. At that point he stated, "I know the food is excellent here." Great. He had made his judgement. Unfortunately for him, it was my judgement to make about his tip. Of course, he obviously didn't care as the restaurant was filled. New people would be coming shortly to take our place. I felt like I was on a factory floor, where customers were just passed down an assembly line. This is not a great experience. On the way out, we passed by the staff. No one spoke to us. Just terrible. We won't be back.

Second time in a little over a year I was in Seattle. Both times stayed downtown near Pike Place and this location on 1st Ave. made it an easy choice. The Godzilla roll and the Tarantula were awesome. Had two other rolls that were also very good (can't remember names). Would go back for fresh sushi if I am ever back in the same area - no doubt.

This was my first time here and my boyfriend has been here before. He wanted to come so we went out on New Year’s Eve! Food was fast! Sake cocktails were delicious! You have to try the Butterfly and Moonraker rolls!!!!

What a pleasant surprise! It was a first visit for all of us and it was outstanding! The rolls are fresh and the flavors incredible! We ordered lots of rolls and would’ve kept going but just couldn’t eat anymore. Check it out!

The sushi my husband had was tasty he said, however the chicken noodle dish I had was pretty average. Staff were hard to get hold of when needed, and the atmosphere was a bit dull. Probably wouldn't return,

Great place! Food is amazing. Rolls are well sized, but also a bit pricey (for what I’m used to paying). Also have nice drinks. Would definitely recommend, but yeah, reserve a table beforehand as it was packed!

Magic food. Was there with partner and two teenage daughters who love sushi. All gave the food 5+. The service was perfect and the atmosphere locally cozy. The only minus was that the noise level was extremely high. May have been due to the groups next to it of course but difficult to have a conversation.

Maybe best and freshest japanese dishes we experienced till now. Outstanding quality of tuna, yellowtail, salmon, crabs, spices, best ginger ever,...attentive service, lively location, whow...and for this price was really moderate.

This is by far the best sushi I have had! I’m gluten intolerant and msg intolerant- no problems here! Not to mention the fish was extremely delicious:) highly recommend to make reservations! A must go!!

This was one of our favorite places for late night Happy Hour pre-COVID and they don't disappoint now. Food is still excellent (the noodle wrapped shrimp and spicy chicken with a side of rice paired with a cold Sapporo are must haves...delicious!) and service was great!

My kids took me here for my post birthday dinner and it was amazing! We are sushi addicts and can be very critical! We had a variety of sashimi, the Cowboy Crunch, Crunchy Lizard, Hottie Roll, Legends, First Ave...Oh the Hamachi Kama! It was huge and so yummy!!! We had other appetizers too! Our server, man, I forgot his name but we were seated in the back garden portion of the restaurant on the 30th and he was really nice and took great care of us! Even got a birthday treat! Ambiance was nice and the seats were comfy! One of the best dinners we had in Seattle! We will be back for sure!

Located just minutes from the Space Needle this easy to miss restaurant deserves your attention. The atmosphere inside makes it feel like you're somewhere in Japan. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable about what they have to offer. The food is nothing short of amazing! If I'm ever in Seattle again I will be sure to stop by here for another meal.

The food is very good, the service is prompt and pleasant and the atmosphere is extremely upbeat--many people obviously having a great time. Regardless of whether you prefer handrolls, cut rolls, sushi or sashimi, you will be pleased. They provide you with a menu that is printed daily--highlighting all the fresh specials. Most of the fish comes from Japan and the NW and the origin is listed on the menu next to each selection. There are a number of cut rolls that are quite unique. The pricing here is very fair for fresh sushi. Check out my photos for more details.

we sat at the counter and watched the itamae perform as if he was conducting an orchestra, with little speaking they all seemed to work together flawlessly with ease and flow. the food was fantastic with a good variety of rolls to choose. wait staff was also friendly and informative. the place was busy, but we never felt rushed. even with the variety of restaurants in Seattle, if time permitted we would have gone back another night.

Umi is amazing - great vibe, excellent service, delicious veg rolls. Happy hour prices are amazing as well! Try the Ladybug roll - it’s soooo tasty!!! I can’t wait to go back.

We went to this location as it was recommended by a good friend and also within close proximity to our hotel. We showed up with no reservation and they fit us in, we were greeted and had waters and menus within the first few minutes. Our beverages came out within 3 minutes. We placed our order and the food was out in less than 5 minutes. Great ambiance, excellent food, overall great time. I don’t think I’ve ever been sat, satiated and overall satisfied I less than half an hour but this location provided an overall great timely dining experience! Our waiter was awesome, very attentive. We were there during happy hour so we were even happier with the more than reasonable prices.

Visited the place with a friend. We had the Sashimi selection followed by the Sushi selection. Excellent fish and service. Place was not too busy on this Monday night. Will come back

Very good sushi rolls. If not a fan of sushi highly recommend the Sea Bass entree. Atmosphere very comfortable...walkable from the Marriott.

We ate here several nights during our vacation due to the high-quality of the fish. The atmosphere is modern, and Umi is clearly a hot spot. The service was attentive and polite, the food was delicious and the atmosphere felt good. We liked the happy hour menu as it offered some high-quality sushi at a kind price point. We also went earlier in the evening before the evening rush. Highly recommend the restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

OUTSTANDING...service, food and experience!! SO well liked, reservations are a Must! HIGHLY Recommend!!

We are sushi lovers, not snobs, but serious lovers. We visited Umi on vacation based upon the recommendation of my friend who lives in Seattle for years and another independent recommendation. Do yourself one favor and get reservations, no matter the night, because you’ll need them. The atmosphere was great, very chill, relaxed and music was perfect. Our server was outstanding and he explained the menu, we had a few questions and asked for recommendations. The calamari was so lightly breaded, just a touch, but served with gently tossed greens that were the perfect pairing for a bite. All of the sushi we had was fresh, flavorful and spot on. However, the white king salmon nigiri was by far, the best I’ve ever had. If you have never tried white king salmon before, do yourself ONE favor and go to Umi to try it. I’m obsessed. We told our server how much we enjoyed it and as he brought us the check, he brought us 2 more pieces of it (pictured below) to send us well wishes on our way. Classy and amazing.... Try it here, you won’t regret it.

Lots of selection on the menu. Very enjoyable meal. We almost walked right past this place, as their exterior entrance is very lack-luster.

Sat at the sushi bar for dinner with a friend. Our server was super friendly and helpful, recommending a sake we really enjoyed as well as some of the sushi rolls. We ordered several rolls and some individual pieces and everything was excellent. Great quality fish and flavorful ingredients. I was a little surprised by the price on the menu for things but once I got my food I felt like it was an appropriate price point for what was presented

Even if the food was good or excellent, the service was really very poor. Every thing we asked for, needed a second and even third reminder. It’s all about service!!! The best of food is is just mediocre without good service.

We saw the reviews about Umi and had to try it. I'm glad we did. The sake and sushi were great! We may have over ordered, but it was worth it! See the pics. We walked in and were seated in minutes. Social distancing seating. The service was great!

We booked for a Monday evening and were not disappointed We started by choosing a sashimi of three different types of salmon. Six pieces of perfect fresh fish. Plenty for two people to share. Deletable. We followed with two noodle dishes- also good. A bottle of Merlot went down well. Service was good and friendly. Great atmosphere in this large restaurant with green plants in the centre.

Best sushi EVER!! 3 of us and we all agree...best sushi we have ever eaten. Great and friendly staff.

Delicious! Fun atmosphere and friendly service, too. Great for dates, groups or a fun sushi night out. My crew loves it.

We tried out Umi’s on a whim and were more than pleasantly surprised. Their happy hour has excellent options with great prices. Fish quality was very good with taco (octopus) as the only exception. My wife and I loved the selection of roles and absolutely loved the spicy ones. Our vegetarian friend was throughly impressed with her “ladybug” role. With an excellent atmosphere and secret ninja doors for the bathroom this is a place we will return to for sure.

This place really is all about the sake. For those a little overwhelmed by their extensive list, they offer a generously poured flight of five of their by-the-glass sakes. The sushi and service are disappointing. Do I mind one-piece-per-order nigiri sushi? No. Do I mind paying $12.00 per piece? Not really. Do I mind there not being any indication anywhere that I will be paying $12.00 for a single (SMALL) piece of nigiri sushi? Yes. Apparently there is also a strict one-menu-per-table rule. After having to ask for another one, the two of us were allowed to have two menus for approximately 4 minutes, then the one I had asked for was taken away. And honey, if we're taking too long to tell you what we'd like, please just tell us. Don't squirm around and roll your eyes and keep asking if there'll be anything else right now. Just tell us we're wasting your time and we'll find a more accommodating place to enjoy our dinner.

This is one of the best sushi restaurants we have been to. They have a delightful happy hour with well priced sushi and sake. Their sushi and rolls are delicious and beautifully presented. The variety of salmon was phenomenal. I would recommend making a reservation and also know depending on the timing of your reservation, you are limited to your dining time because of the timing of happy hour.

I've been to Umi Sake House several times (about once per year) for last few years. Quality of sushi is not bad, if you like rolls you will like this place. They do make traditional nigiri sushi and they are tasty but pricey (I believe most fish come from Japan). I'm not fun of their environment for my taste, it's extremely noisy and feels rushed. Customer service is about average - this place is so busy, you don't get much attention. A happy hour menu is reasonable but their Oyster shooter wasn't so good (it was OK).

Easily the best sushi I’ve ever had. My favorite was the daily special “Durango Roll” with mango and habenero sauce - out of this world. Although incredibly tasty, it’s definitely not cheap. You’ll get your money’s worth!

One of the better meals I’ve had in years. We feasted on sushi rolls and small plates. We arrived in time to catch their happy hour rates which was a perk. Their tequila cocktail on the specialty drink menu was great. Plates worth mentioning: the tofu with okra and tomatoes and the steak. Service was impeccable, from the hostess to the server.

Super fun experience sitting at the sushi bar in this lively and vibrant restaurant with super tasty dishes and drinks and absolutely stellar service. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely adore this place and EVERYTHING on the menu is spot on. I'm a stickler for uni and the large pieces I had hear did not disappoint - they were the perfect blend of coldness, flavor, and that fantastic cotton-candy-ish melt-in-your-mouth that only the freshest uni can offer. The ambiance is spot on and the people sitting at the sushi bar make the experience all that more wonderful.Next time I'm in Seattle, this is the first place I'm stopping for food!!!!

We decided to have a little Birthday dinner here & it was Wonderful. The food, service & atmosphere, especially for a 9:30 dinner, was a lot of Fun & we will definitely return to this restaurant.

Looking for some sushi for Dinner on a Saturday night, we were able to get a countertop space at 4pm at this very busy and very delicious restaurant. We had a few different Specialty Rolls and sampled some Sake and enjoyed everything. There is a large variety of Specialty Rolls for all sushi lovers. Very nice vibe and lots going on. Will definitely return.

We dined during happy hour on Mother’s day. Their happy hour menu was a good and tasty. I would love to go back again!

First time in Seattle! We came for a dinner for 3. We had reservations and we came early. We quickly got our table and it was great. We ordered the sashimi set, tempura platter and grilled garlic short ribs from the happy hour menu! Really good! The nabeyaki udon was amazing!! The broth was just right! Sushi was amazing! Def would come again! Everything was great.

UMI Sake House has the freshest fish and the most creative sushi rolls. The atmosphere was busy and energetic and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. We love sushi and have had sushi in China, Europe and of corse North America and UMI Sake House was by far the best we have ever had. This is a must if you like Japanese food in Seattle.

Whenever I visit Seattle I make a point to ALWAYS come to Umi! Especially their Happy Hour Sushi prices EVERYDAY from 4-6pm are insane for the portions and quality! It's truly an amazing place to satisfy any sushi or sake lover! Their custom cocktail and sake menu is advanced, varied and magically delicious as well! Do not miss this place!

We came for the happy hour and were not disappointed. We tried various appetizers, a few rolls, and some saki. All were delicious and not a bad price. Also thought the decor of the restaurant was really great and made for a great time.

With all the great reviews we were excited to eat here. With Seattle's proximity to the ocean, we assumed the fish would be amazing, it absolutely wasn't. The salmon nigiri was ok and amberjack nigiri was not fresh and rather firm. The crunchy cali roll my daughter ordered has a very fishy taste to it, and the regular California roll was very bland. The ambiance was nice, the staff was ok, friendly but didn't feel warm or genuine. We would NOT go here again. Surely Seattle has better sushi than this to offer??

We stopped here after coming back into town following a Mariners game. We made a reservation in Open Table for 5 pm but arrived 25 minutes early. The hostess took some time finding our reservation and trying to figure out where to seat us. After two minutes, she said the table was ours until 6 pm when a party of four would claim it. Ok, fine. I am glad she told us about the time limit upfront instead of once we were seated. But I was confused why our reservation for 5 pm would only be good for an hour. Whatever. The short ribs, miso cod, and sushi rolls we tried were good. There was also a wide selection of sake available. We had a good meal but nothing stood out to us. We would not go out of our way to go back. It was just Ok.

Very good sake and fresh sushi. The staff did their best when it was so busy, the kitchen slowed down. The roll menu is overwhelmingly extensive.

We spent few days discovering Seattle on our way to Hawaii and heeded our son's recommendation to try this place since we are sushi avid. I usually order sashimi but it was so pricey so we opted for rolls and sushi platters. The fish was fresh and delicious but the sushi rice was stunning! best rice ever. It melts in your mouth like butter while maintaining its texture. Not to be missed. Yes the place is loud but it adds to its appeal however the prices are very expensive which takes away from its appeal. If you want to splurge on your vacation this is the best place to do it.

My husband and I went for an early dinner and ordered from the Happy Hour menu which was a bargain. . We chose a variety of items: ribs, miso soup, calamari, and a sampling of rolls. Our Japanese wine and beer paired perfectly with our meal. So glad we have this restaurant a try!

Very popular crowded Sushi place with a nice variety of rolls and dishes. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, not cheap but not super expensive either. Try the vegetarian sushi sampler.

My Son and family visit Umi Sake occasionally/ they took me on a recent visit. We took our 2 year old 2 week old. The staff were very accommodating with seating and service (think young). We may have over ordered sushi, however, it was served promptly and prepared with care. All was fresh. The beverages were a bit tardy and our only recommendation to management - timely beverages make a meal.

Good food, good service. A little on the pricey side for what it is and felt a little rushed. But we did like it. Family friendly too.

I loved Umi Sushi so much that I ate here twice while in town on business. I found that a lot of other restaurants in the downtown area were very expensive and kind of snooty. Umi was comfortable and fun. They also have a great happy hour deal which made it easy to try a lot of different things. I would definitely make a reservation, the line was always long even on a Tuesday night.

We went here for a birthday dinner for a friend. It was.a great choice. I ordered the sashimi salad and my friends ordered other sushi. The salad was amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The only drawback for us was the 90 minute limit on our table. We didn't really need to stay longer than that, but it felt like we were on the clock the whole time.

This restaurant covers all the bases: excellent food, top notch wait staff and fabulous ambience. Everything tasted wonderful with lovely presentation. Our waitress was unbelievably kind and attentive as was the entire staff. And I loved the just loud enough music- was fun to walk into Umi with a song from The Cure blaring and listen to 80s and 90s music all evening. Highly recommend this place for a soul enhancing experience.

Honestly this was one of the best sushi dinner I have ever had. Hands down better than their sister company. You likely will have to wait for a table and it’s loud but worth every second.

Come here every time I am in Seattle, if time allows. Always had to wait for a table (even if booked in advance) at that weird area at the entrance, where you are either too close to someones table or in everyones way. Or both... This, however, are the only downsides with a visit here. We ordered a lot of food, Miso Soup, Chicken Karage, Gyozas, a selection of Sashimi as well as a few different rolls. It was all delicious!!! I can not recommend this place enough! As a side note - I have listed this as "expensive/fine dining". It's kind of in-between, as $240 for four adults, with sake, desserts and tips are not too bad, but also a bit more than mid-range...

Happy hour prices are great! It just happened to be there for dinner at the time for the happy hour time. Miso soup, sashimi set was perfect! Albacore, tuna, yellow tail, and salmon. The set of sushi was also great. Draft Sapporo is well served.

Came here for a date night and was very pleased. Delicious sushi with great service. Loved the sake flights!

Offering a wide variety of sushi options and other food. Everything we had was very tasty and excellent service.

Went here base on Trip Advisor reviews. Great meal. We had the Sushi Omikase. Everything was fresh, sea bream, 3 types of salmon (none smoked!) hamachi, and maguro tuna. A bit noisy but the food overwhelms this minor issue. Extensive dessert choices.

The food is good but the service is slow and impersonal. If the service matters to you, you maybe disappointed. We spilled beer on our table and in spite of several requests, and waitstaff everywhere, nobody bothered to bring us fresh napkins or clean the table- and this was around 430 in the evening with few people in the restaurant!

Good meal, but too expensive. 17$ per a sushi roll dish. Neighborhood is terrible, looks like a lot of criminals and insane people are where. For instance I have seen a person with a paper bag instead of hat and another person was walking along the road in front of moving cars..

Went here after work one day and the selection of sushi and sashimi is excellent. Had to have some salmon since I was in Seattle but several of their tuna sushi was excellent. You have the option of a number of spicy dishes on the menu and the sake was excellent. Attentive staff made sure we had plenty of food.

We went to happy hour on a Thursday shortly after they opened around 4 and I’m so glad we went. The reviews were great and everyone is right on—the sushi is fresh and delicious, specialty rolls are great, the cocktails are yum and the edamame was free. Seaweed salad was like no other I have had with a variety of tasty seaweeds. Prices were fair too. This is not to be missed if you are a sushi lover.

Delicious; did the omakase to try the most amount of fish and it did not disappoint! The ambience of the place was great too, highly highly recommend.

This was by far our favorite restaurant of the trip! The crispy shrimp prongs are amazing as were the Butterfly roll and the Crunchy Seattle. Cocktails were strong and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend giving it a try!

Made reservation after searched few japanese restaurants. Glad I picked this up. What a fun place to hang out. Liked the vibe there, bartender also did great job when I ordered something that wasn't on the menu, the drink was fabulous. Besides all the amazing dishes, ordered three desserts, everything was just excellent.

Read the reviews and decided to book. It was very disappointing. Bit of a crowd hanging around outside when we arrived on time. We were asked to wait and when told our table was ready were also advised they were putting us on the clock and we would need to be out in 1.5 hours. I hate that and not sure why they don't advertise it upfront. I simply would not have booked! Table was in the passage and it seemed most people in the room had to squeeze past at some stage in our 1.5 hour stay. Waiter was very brusque and not really keen on us being there. Not interested in trying to help us get to grips with a new menu. A comment on the menu. around 5o%+ of the dishes have chilli in them or so it seems. This must be a new trend in sushi in Seattle because it is not global. Food was average at best and the wine by the glass extremely ordinary. The heading says it all. Not worth the hype.

Always a must for us when we visit Seattle ... never a had a bad meal here Food is excellent .... Service is great and atmosphere is perfect We always make a point of going here when we are in town

This is another popular busy restaurant in the heart of Belltown. Friendly staff and many choices to choose from.

This amazing Sushi place is easy to miss and very very packed. Make sure you reserve a table! This is Seattle, so of course the fish is fresh, but the fish here is EXCEPTIONAL. Happy Hour is always a good option when you are here, so keep that in mind! "Sake" is in the name for a good reason, so make sure you get a sake flight to go with your food, you won't be disappointed!

Remember, Umi is in Belltown, and it get pretty busy on the weekends. We went for Happy Hour before heading out to Jazz Alley. We were lucky to score seats at the bar. Ordered poke' with different fish...all VERY fresh and sushi. Everything was good...had Sapporo on tap. Would go out to Umi again.

we visited Seattle on a day trip from Vancouver BC. Our son brought us there for dinner. The place was clean and had a nice ambience. Prices were a bit high in our opinion. Quality was good but not super. We enjoyed the dinner all the same. I noticed 2 things about the staff. One was the bus boy or waiter setting the tables. I saw the fellow cupping the water glasses when setting the table. I would prefer they handle the base or the neck of the glass. I don't know if his hands are clean. The big kicker was when one of the staff brought new settings for the table next to us. He dropped a couple of the cloth napkins along with the cutlery. He picked them up off the floor and just put them all on top of the plates. I was watching to see if he takes them away. No he did not and did not come back to replace them. Wow !!! I told our waiter this. I told him that is not good at all. Whether he told anyone or did anything, I don't know. Not very sanitary. Hope this does not continue.

This is one of the top spots for sushi in Seattle. The team at Umi was super nice and the service was fast. We had several different rolls and we all agreed that each of them were great. Would recommend Umi for sure. The place gets crowded so plan accordingly because it is one of the Seattle hot spots for sure.

We visited as a party on 6, and while expensive, this was the best meal we had in Seattle. We found the Ultimate Dragon, Pretty in Pink, Agedashi Tofu too be very good. The Sushi Omakase Small was excellent, but a poor value as were the Spicy Tuna Roll and 6 pc Salmon Sashimi. We didn't enjoy the Grilled King Crab. Service was average and at times slow.

Sat at the bar, enjoyed sweet conversation with the bar tender and his wife, who was sitting next to us and had a delightful experience. The speciality sushi rolls are among the best I’ve ever eaten - top 7 for sure. A short walk (5ish blocks from the water front and Pike’s Market), Umi has an inviting vibe we thoroughly enjoyed. Enjoy!!!

Highly raved and recommended by friend, we decided to try. It opens at 4PM daily. Good and fast serving with free appetizer. Food was so good especially the Agadeshi Tufo. The sushi are all freshly made. Prices are very reasonable. The only thing i didn't like was when you enter the place, there is a funky smell maybe due to lack of better air ventilation inside and no parking.

While in Seattle, we headed to Umi Sake House based on the recommendation of the Hotel and the rave reviews here on Trip Advisor — we were NOT disappointed. In fact, it was the best meal that we had while visiting. The sushi was fantastic and offered all the traditional fare but also included inventive signature rolls that were amazing. The Sake selection is extensive and the cocktails delicious. We will definitely being visiting this restaurant on our next trip to Seattle!

This has been one of our favorite sushi restaurants for years now, where my family always wants to go for celebrations. Recently visited after a long time of not making it over to Seattle much these days... my husband and I took our sons for a bday and new job celebration. It was amazing as usual, you really can't go wrong with anything that you order here. The ambiance is great, the food really tasty and the drinks so yummy. Crystal was our server during this visit and she helped make the evening special.

Umi Sake house is a great choice for fresh sushi and one of Seattle’s best sake lists. The service is prompt, friendly and attentive. As well as nigiri and sashimi, they offer dozens of innovative rolls to choose from. Our waitress was well versed in the sake selection and with input from me as to likes and dislikes, conjured up the perfect junmai daiginjo. The ambience tends to be a bit loud and boisterous so maybe not the best choice for an intimate evening, but a great choice for family and friends. Not inexpensive, but worth it.

When in downtown and in need of sushi, the best. And the ambience is gentle and asianly romantic! Lots of unique rolls, all was fresh! Can be pricey. Just enjoy happy hour and life is good!

Definitely need reservations for this wonderful sushi restaurant! We were seated within 10 minutes of our arrival. We were seated near the rear of the restaurant. Our waitress was amazing. She suggested a few sakes for the 3 flight that we wanted and she chose the perfect selection. We had the choices of the day which was on paper and our menu was online by scanning the QR code which was on the special of the day sheet. All of the sushi was PERFECT! Including the sea urchin which we have never had before !!It was definitely interesting!!! The prices were very reasonable!

Decided to stop in for some quick sushi since we didn't want to wait at Kashiba or Shiro. The quality of sushi here is vastly different. The rice was almost indistinguishable as if it were some kind of puree. Sauces! Every roll is drenched with sauces which do a fantastic job of covering any real flavor. Their sushi plates are extra long so they do try to give you quantity for what you pay. But lifes too short for sub-standard sushi. Maybe its a great place to booze it up with friends over happy hour, but for actual sushi its Kashiba or Shiro or forget it.

Seattle has it's fair share of great sushi spots, where this is one of our favorites so far. We started with a few happy hour plates which were great value, then had a couple of specialty plates. The Godzilla sushi (with slices of beef) was one of the most unique rolls I've had - delicious! Solid service, nice vibrant atmosphere but not overcrowded. We'll be back!

The most generous portions from a sushi restaurant I have seen in some time. Prices reasonable so high rating on value calculators. Really broad menu with many choices. Lots of small plates for those who prefer other Japanese dishes to sushi. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free choices too. Lively place in Belltown - not so many lively places in the heart of the city anymore. Would recommend this as a great spot to go with a group - can accommodate so many tastes.

We made reservations early on and would definitely recommend that. There were people waiting even with reservations and some walk-ins just left because they were already so full. The sofa seating is so comfortable and is so much more upscale than the usual table and chairs. They don’t rush you to finish your meal quickly either! Edamame- complimentary - the sea salt on the perfectly steamed edamame was a good start to a great meal. Pink Lychee Cooler: this was a bit bland. I don’t taste any lychee in it. Pomegranate Limeade: I liked this better- it was sweet, tangy and zingy Yakisoba with Tofu- absolutely delicious. The tofu was soft and so flavorful. The sauce was just perfection. The presentation was equally impressive. Spicy Ginger Chicken- a very tasty almost curry like flavors with the onion, ginger, garlic base. The portion was huge, I could barely get through half of it. Steamed Rice This was great food and very reasonably priced compared to the usual Seattle scene. I loved the warmth and vibe of the place too. This is definitely a visit again place.

We came to eat dinner here during happy hour. It was fantastic! You can’t beat their happy hour prices and menu. Would love to come again!

I highly recommend Umi. The sushi was tremendous, the service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. I was definitely return!

Went for dinner yesterday and it was excellent - food, service, drinks and atmosphere. Maguro and Sake sashimi were the favorites.

One of the best sushi places I have visited in a long time. The sushi and the sashimi were served fresh and tasted really great. The server was friendly and the atmosphere very nice. The place got busy, but the noise levels were not too bad at all. Will certainly go back.

We had such a good time here! Food was excellent, drinks were awesome... place looks super nice with a fun atmosphere. A must do while in Seattle.

I felt like we were the center of attention with the fast, great service! Sushi was excellent! The portions were great!!! I was particularly drawn to the mango roll. I’ve never had a sweet succulent roll before. Thank you for the experience!!!

Best sushi I have ever had. Fun upbeat location. Service was very good. There are many rolls to pick from. Fun dinner
Delicious & beautifully presented
Excellent, artistically & beautifully presented food with thoughtful veggie/vegan options. All delicious. Looks small on the outside but huge interior with interesting eating spaces and despite being packed, attentive service and food came quickly. Great restaurant with buzzy atmosphere.
