Headed back to the airport after work, decided to pitstop here. Nice little place in a quiet neighborhood. Food was great. Host and Staff were really nice and friendly. Meatloaf Sandwich, Fried Mac and Cheese, all wonderful. Beer seletion is good as well. Definitely on my favorite list.

This is one of our favorite places to enjoy brunch, lunch as the sevice is always biscuit breakfast, grilled sandwiche

It is a friendly neighbourhood watering hole, friendly staff and good food. A nice selection of beers. The Caesar salad was perfect, lightly dressed.

We enjoyed sitting on the patio on a sunny Sunday. Everyone loves the fried Mac n Cheese balls. The egg salad sandwich was huge and flavorful; the lentil soup excellent. It's a must to try in South Park.

Nice new place the South Park neighborhood of Seattle. Lots of options for sides (fries, tots, salad [for a little more]). I had the Seattle Cheese Steak which came with Au Jus. Messy, but good -- and they supply extra napkins without asking. Decent drink prices, the bar bourbon is Evan Williams (my home bar standard). Will definitely be going back.

There were 11 of us (including 2 year old twins). We had been denied service at one restaurant because of the large number, they did not feel they could "give us a good experience." A customer there recommended Uncle Eddies. The food was served in a timely manner. There was plenty on each plate. Amazingly enough, the hot food was hot. This sounds like it should be expected but for us (we eat out a lot) it is highly unusual. I mean the food was really, right out of the skillet hot. I was so impressed.

Cute and comfy neighborhood spot. Owners seem nice. Nice selection of beer. Several locals comment about the space being open to local meetings and owners supporting the neighborhood. I want to love the food...but it’s just so-so. This was my second try after being disappointed the first time. Ordered the totchas- scant portions of beans and corn topped the snack. Bread pudding was pretty bland. It all seemed overpriced. Try it if you are local but it isn’t a destination.

My friend and I had lunch here on a Thursday, and Uncle Eddie's was doing a good business --- an encouraging sign. Our server alternated between tending bar and waiting tables, but she was prompt and the food arrived in short order. I ordered the Italian pesto turkey and my friend had a grilled cheese sandwich. Ingredients were fresh and tasty on good quality artisan bread and our salads were nicely (not overly) dressed with the house blue cheese dressing. (You can order vinaigrette or ranch as well.) I'm giving a four star instead of five star rating for two reasons: (1) my sandwich was a bit oily --- well grilled but a little heavy going down. (2) for South Park, the sandwich prices are a bit steep. But I would recommend giving it a try and see for yourself. We may just be getting picky in our retirement years!

I needed a place to eat closer to the museum of flight and I saw their dishes online and I went for it, I was with my 4 kids under 11 years old and we sat outside. It was good!
Here's where to eat when visiting Museum of Flight
After reading a positive review in the Seattle Times, had to give Uncle Eddie's a try. I was not disappointed. I had the Cuban sandwich with a salad rather than fries or tots. The sandwich was huge and very tasty, in fact, I only ate half and packed the rest. I plan to go back and try a couple other sandwiches, particularly the Seattle Cheese Steak, Meatloaf and Chicken Chile Verde. I'm looking forward to those follow up visits. Service was great, never waited for anything. You can definitely feel the pride of ownership here. Uncle Eddie's is located in the South Park neighborhood, northwest of the Museum of Flight about 4 minutes away. Head northwest on E. Marginal Way, turn left on 16th Ave S., cross the bridge and you will see it up ahead on the right. Be sure to check out the rest of the neighborhood, one of Seattle's next big things.
