Really Unique Experience

By Bruce W |

As noted below, you could walk by the entrance multiple times, but still miss it (it is on the South side of Kinzie between LaSalle and Clark. But once find it and go down the staircase, Wow. Just Wow. The 3 hostesses were attentive and were well dressed - wearing enough clothes combined to cover one of them - not that the men in group were complaining. The whole place has a dark speakeasy kind of vibe - a lot like Bavette's. They gave us a choice of sitting in a number of different rooms. There is one room with a stage and live music. But there is a room right next two it with a retractable wall that they pull away once the music starts. The sound still travels well, but it was easier to talk from that room while the band was playing. The biggest surprise of the night was when the band went on break and they introduced a woman who did a 10 minute burlesque type show/dance finishing in not more than pasties and underwear. But it was pretty clear that half the place was not expecting that. All that aside, the service was top notch. And the food was really good. We especially enjoyed the deviled eggs and the seafood tower. Almost everything is designed to share.

A very cool night

By Ros G |

This place is very understated from the street, but once you get inside you know you are onto something special. Two funky rooms for cocktails and a lounge where you can eat and listen to a band. The atmosphere is buzzy, the cocktails are buzzy and the food is inspired. Loved the meatballs, the bacon fried fries....yes you read that right ....foie gras, beet salad. There were six of us and we had a fantastic night of music and food. And a bit of that buzzy booze. So much fun! There is also some prohibition-era naughtiness in the floor show.

Unusual Supper Experience

By LMK101 |

There is no marquee or sign to let you know you are there, just an address. Someone is standing outside asking for your ID before you are then able to go down the vast stairs to the basement level. Several rooms all around; small ones for parties or a bar then a larger room for varying levels of dinner and entertainment experiences. If you are in the room closest to the hostess in the lobby, then you will see a wall open up and then see another room with a burlesque show. The closer you are to the stage, the more you pay for your seating. The food is very good and the service was iffy at first until we asked for a different server which then was excellent. A fun evening that is very unusual that the run of the mill dinner night out.

Lovely Ambiance!!!

Beautiful room- The Whisky library. The large plate meals are awesome. Had the steak in bearnaise sauce😍. I’ve been here twice and will keep going.

Incredible Bourbon Selection

By Mark E |

I walked past Untitled for years and never new that there was a bar and restaurant gem hidden behind the nondescript door. I am sure glad I finally went in. Best bourbon selection north of Lexington Kentucky! And a wonderful atmosphere.

Cool space, over the top whiskey /whisky selection

By Krista M |

Went at the suggestion of friends. Very cool space and surprisingly delicious food. The octopus was amazing as was the tuna tartare, and deviled eggs. Great staff, over the top whiskey/whisky selections ... worth a visit just to see the bottle display :) Not easy to find as there is not sign - look for the address. The Burlesque "show" was a bit of a disappointment as it seemed more like a lone, semi-clad dancer gyrating to 80's tunes ... fine unto itself, but not what I would consider a true burlesque show.

Live music and burlesque

By Shelliu |

One of the most fun places for a night out in Chicago. Excellent food, a huge whiskey selection, 5 different bars and live music with a tease of burlesque between sets. Our group luckily found a table that someone never showed up for...make a reservation if you know you will end up there. Fun for all ages and a very diverse crowd. Prices are great considering the venue.

All around excellent

Dinner show drinks! What more can you ask for?! This may be my favorite dining experience in the United States.

Untitled

By mweaver1127 |

Quite happy with this place . Simply enter at the awning that reads 111 as there is no sign that reads "Untitled." The Staff was quite friendly and the atmosphere was fun . We did the restaurant week menu which was pretty good . We would likely come back and try more items . The drink "Sonnet of Autumn " is a must .

The perfect place for great food and awesome live music

By Richard H |

Book a table for 7pm, have a few drinks and enjoy dinner while the place is still calm enough... then enjoy one of the 4 bars and top quality live soul music... can’t miss it

Great Atmosphere

By WineGirl3 |

Didn't come here to eat but would like to. A great "club" with 2 amazing bars and third room with a great dance atmosphere.

Supper club with a twist.

By Sandra R |

Okay, it's a modern take on the classic supper club that you'll find in Wisconsin. The atmoshphere is quite cool and unique with a main dining room and smaller rooms suitable for larger events. HUGE whiskey selection with tasting flights available. We went with a group of about 10 and they were very accommodating helping us set up a table with a good view of the stage. Menu offers a good selection with servings that are meant to be shared. They offer a wide variety of entertainment - not techno, not heavy rock but jazz and tribute performances more in line with a supper club atmoshphere. Try it, I think you'll like it.

Tricky to find BUT well worth the effort

By Pnut Travel Guidebook |

Do you like the lore of the old timey mixed with modern day basement club?! I love things like this with great ambiance, food / drinks and live entertainment! They have 4 different rooms that ALL offer a 1940s-60s feel with art deco, furniture, and lighting.... great array of food and not so loud you can't talk to your date or party of 10! Our favorite was the whisky flights and all the RARE whiskey, along with the pork dumplings, lamb meatballs and hot peppers

Please don't go there...

By bestoftmz22 |

Yes, the place is great. Great service, great food, and most of all great entertainment. Caught the Rythm Rockets there. What a show!! Everything is top shelf. And $12.00 parking next door is great also. But please don't go there, or if you do, please don't tell anyone about it. If you do, the place will get too popular and it'll be standing room only. Dennis

It was ok.

By Laura L |

I came here after seeing lots of high reviews. The ambiance is nice but it’s pretty loud and the food is very expensive for what it is ($18 for a cheeseburger with no sides or special ingredients?). I had an absolute terrible time getting attention from my waitress, as well. I’m not sure if this is because I was by myself or she just had too many tables - the table next to me had much better service. I feel like it’s better to just grab a drink here, I don’t think I’d come back here for dinner service.

Wonderful entertainment and incredible food!

By M D |

Unique cocktail menu with every whiskey you could imagine. Food was divine and the service was top-notch!

Supper with Friends

By keith w |

Great venue right in the heart of Chicago. Live bands and great atmosphere. The food was average and the service was poor. After ordering we were told that the kitchen cannot bring food orders at the same time. Consequently there was 15 to 20 mins between the first and last starter. There was 40 mins between the first and last main course. It was a disaster. This just an excuse for a poorly run kitchen, may be they should ask Gordon Ramsey to pop in. Next time we will eat elsewhere and go in to the bar to experience the great music

Loved this speakeasy

By LMIVER0801 |

We had no idea what we were walking into as a friend suggested the location and only told us to look for the bouncers. When we got there I was underdressed but they ended up letting us in. We appreciated as we knew they were likely strict on attire. I would recommend dressing well if heading there (nothing outrageous but it's a nicer place) I felt slightly out of place underdressed. The band was great - albeit loud. The place is HUGE. Way bigger than expected. Drinks were great- atmosphere fun. I would try coming back for dinner one day in the future!

Not all that

By L H |

This place has a cool vibe, huge interior w/ different rooms, and decent food, but...a pretentious, non-customer-care-centered attitude as well. Half-price specials don't include Champagne, ok - but refusal to grant even 5% off on a bottle purchase? If one person in the party orders prix fixe (spelled pre fixe on the check), then everyone else at the table "has" to as well. Market salad, tortellini, salmon - nothing special. Black forest dessert fails - the flavors and textures clash. Apple tart very good. Service average. Huge, noisy group that needed a private room came at the end of our meal, otherwise it would have been very unpleasant.

Great place, great atmosphere

By Romanw871 |

I was invited for a private event at this place. It was very pleasant and comforting experience. Great ambience, fantastic service, very good food. I would highly recommend. I will be back when I am next time in Chicago.

Poor service, over priced

By Ramesh V |

It took 20 minutes before our waiter came to our table. It took another 10 for our drinks to arrive. The plates were small and over priced. It was busy so it’s selling itself as a new hip place but there are many better restaurants in the area.

Great for dancing

By ExplorerGirl22 |

Was in town for a fun weekend with girlfriends and a relative recommended that we check out Untitled. We never would have known about it otherwise, so were glad to have had the local perspective. It is a dark club with different areas depending upon the number of people and mood of the group. We ended up in the section with a dance floor and had a blast. The DJ had a sign out that read something like 'no requests ever' which we found to be both obnoxious and hilarious. Looking forward to the next time!

Fabulous live music venue with top notch service!

By Andrea A |

Shout out to our fabulous server Oscar who contributed to a top notch experience for us here. The ambiance, live music, decor, cocktails and food were all excellent. A small concern we had with an item we ordered was addressed within mere minutes by the head manager with grace and class. This is a great date night spot with the most glam ladies’ room I’ve ever experienced. We can’t wait to return!

Hot Concert

By MaryKelley |

Great evening at Untitled! Dinner and music, Marvin Gaye tribute! Get there a little early to catch happy hour drinks and food. Cheese tray, chicken, some favorites. Fun crowd and nostalgic songs, and dancing too! Good views from tables and bar. Thanks Untitled! Don't forget to check if you liked my review. Thanks

this is a great night out!

By kim b |

went on thurs eve for unbridled burlesque show and it was so entertaining and the food was amazing... our server was right on it at all times! we were extremely happy with our evening there all the way around!

My favorite club in Chicago

By Chris B |

This place has a little bit of everything. First, it's huge. Even when it's crowded you can find a place to get away from the chaos. I have personally never eaten here, but the people I've talked to say the food is awesome. Best part - no cover! Earlier in the night they will usually have a band. They find pretty great talent! As the night progresses Untitled eventually turns into a night club atmosphere with a stand alone dance floor. It has really good energy! If you like the amber liquors, their whisky bar is second to none! If you can name it, they probably have it and their bartenders can craft a fine cocktail. This is a place you can get to at 8:30 or 9 for dinner stay all night and feel like you went to 3 different venues over the course of the evening. The crowd ranges in age, but is much more sophisticated than some of the other "night clubs" in River North. I love this place and come often. A must do if you are visiting Chicago!

Great service, food and vibe

By LThomas1301 |

This is our 3rd time visiting during the live show and it was great again. Food, service, and atmosphere were on point. Dined in the main area which is a great place to be. Reservations highly recommended. Cocktails and wine are good. Food comes out quick even when busy. Halibut, lobster pasta, and calamari very good. Will definitely return for another live show. Enjoyable date night.

Keep Your Eyes Peeled

By Cara C |

If you’re not on the lookout, you’ll walk right past! Super cool vibe and atmosphere. Great place to host a large event.

Great night out!

By Lindah95 |

This place was so fun! We heard and unbelievable band called HUSH TRAIN perform! I had the grilled skirt steak that was cooked to perfection and it was enough to share. Along with that, we enjoyed the tiger shrimp cocktail. Music, ambience, great food & company...doesn't get better than that!

Awesome bar/restaurant, great entertainment and service

By Bodocomo |

Four of us attended here recently for dinner and an evening of music. This place was great. The restaurant bar is made up of several large rooms some more suited for dining and others more bar like. W sat in a small room that was more of a restaurant until the band started at which point the wall was opened up and we were able to enjoy the band and entertainment while we ate. The ambiance was great and we could easily enjoy our meal and carry on a conversation while the band played. Food: the menu is very convenient for small plate and large plate sharing. Four of us shared, a Caesar salad, a Waldorf Salad, Scallops and twice fried chicken. Both salads were very good, as in really, really good. My wife, a foodie said it was probably the best Waldorf salad she had ever eaten. The scallops were amazing, seared and seasoned perfectly (a little spicy). The twice fried chicken was good but the white pieces (breasts) were a little dry and I would probably order a different entree in the future. We shared some churros for dessert and they were really tasty. All in all the food was awesome and the dishes being brought out to other tables looked fabulous. Service: Our waitress, Emily was a great server, fun, friendly and very helpful with the selections. Emily was so good as was our dining experience that I actually sought out a manager (Daniel) to pass along our thanks for the experience. Entertainment: Was very enjoyable. A very good band playing some jazz, a little funk and some modern pieces. The band is joined by a couple of stage dangers and in between sets, you are entertained by a young lady throwing some burlesque out your way. When the band was done for the night a DJ went on and played a very good variety of music. Overall: This place was great both as a bar and a restaurant. The service was great as was the food. I love trying new places whenever I travel but this one will likely become a staple in Chicago in the future. On a sidenote, I lost my phone whilel in Chicago and on the of chance that it was left in the bar I called them back. I left a message for Daniel who promptly returned my call and than after looking for my phone called back once again. This place is great!!!!

Excellent

Love this gem! They did a wonderful job creating fun spaces with a great vibe. The service was great. The drinks were creative and delicious. There is a dress code, so plan ahead.

Worst restaurant I've been to in Chicago

By Nick H |

DO NOT GO HERE. I've never been treated more rude at a restaurant after just spending hundreds of dollars to have a meal there. The manager took the barstools away from my wife and our friend while they were sitting at the bar after dinner and then place two security guards right behind us that followed us all the way to the street when we left. There was absolutely no reason for this. Apparently they didn't want us in their establishment anymore spending money. Find a different place in Chicago. There are much better options available. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

Amazing Team All Around

By Celeste |

We have been going to Untitled for years for the whiskey library, live music, and great apps! Recently we have been going due to the team as well! Everyone from the door manager Danny, floor manager Cynthia, and the GM Jake is amazing! We had an event on 3/23 that they accommodated for us on the fly. Are original reservation at a bar around the corner totally blew us off. When we arrived at the door of Untitled asking for availability Danny jumped into action and Cynthia and her team made us welcome and comfortable the entire night! As an industry employee myself, I recognize great hospitality when I see it and will continue to recommend this place to everyone that asks for dinner, drinks, and dancing!

Whiskey Lovers Can't Miss

By kwetherholt8277 |

We toured this venue when it was closed, but we were amazed by its ambience, depth of whiskey inventory, and the type of entertainment described. If you love whiskey and/or nightlife, you need to go.

Fun Delicious Supper Club

By Heather M |

We celebrated a birthday here and made sure we were able to catch the Unbridled Burlesque and variety show- we had so much fun!! The New York Strip Steak was delicious and the party vibe with the DJ was perfect for the occasion. The venue is beautiful!

Christmas Party Magic

By FhayzeB |

Attended a work-related Christmas party there last night and for a location in a heavily congested area | was pleased to find attached parking ($12 on SpotHero Parking App) and equally pleased with the Speak-Easy ambiance of this restaurant lounge. The food was outstanding though I only had hors d'oeuvres. The cocktails were prepared with a flare by the mixologist--not to be confused with a bartender--and the service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely return for a full dinner!

Fun times

By Jame G. |

Really good food. Super friendly staff. Cool ambiance. Trendy. I got overserved here and I’d be more than happy to do it again.

Great band!

By Tink |

The food was okay, but the band was great! They were energetic, had a great sound, and had skilled entertainers. It's definitely a good time!

Great!!!!

By csdubya |

During a rush trip to Chicago, my Darlin and I finally got a chance to eat at Untitled since Chef Pugh took over. Darn glad we did. We had a group so we got 15 courses/servings. We had (with comments in ()): ENDIVE SALAD -- belgian endive, seasonal fruit, marcona almond, smoked blue cheese, buttermilk dressing (delicate and sweet) OYSTER ROCKEFELLER -- virginia oysters, buttered spinach, garlic, parmesan, brioche, georgia peaches, lemon (the deep richness of the oysters, etc. was perfectly offset by the lemon) DEVILED EGGS -- black summer truffle, egg mousse, frisee salad, chive (I LOVED THIS!) TEMPURA SQUASH BLOSSOMS -- catalpa grove bacon, roasted jalapeno, creme fraiche, pickled red onion, petite kale, lemon vinaigrette (rich and sweet and savory and hot – Great!) STEAK TARTARE -- english pea, tamari egg, cornichon, pickled ramps, lemon aioli, grated parmesan, grilled ciabatta (wonderful – had a lot because most of the rest were too squeamish) SWEET CORN AND CRAB FRITTERS -- jonah crab, sweet corn, roasted garlic, pickled red onion, lime crema, guajillo oil (crispy, sweet, and savory) SEA SCALLOPS -- sweet corn, new potato, bacon lardons, pickled chili, brussel petals, lemon broth (deeply caramelized – but still buttery soft and sweet) PAN SEARED DUCK BREAST -- foie gras french toast, roasted sweet corn, blueberry compote, cardamom, thyme (wonderfully rich and earthy – cut a little too thick so was not as tender as it could be) GRILLED BEEF TENDERLOIN -- caraway jus, roasted maitake mushrooms, fried rosemary, rye croutons (OMG! I wanted to lick the sauce off the serving bowl!!!) POTATO GALETTE -- butter, thyme, shallot, parmesan cheese, gruyere cheese (Good - I think – because almost none made it too me.) CHEESECAKE – (ours was “deconstructed” – out of this world) PEACH COBBLER -- bourbon ice cream, sweet drop biscuits, crispy shiso (OMG) VANILLA POT DE CREME -- strawberry preserve, rhubarb compote, shortbread cookies, mint (OMG – again) BLACK FOREST CAKE -- dark chocolate mousse, cherry creme fraiche, toasted cashews, basil (one of the best) The front of the house was almost as good as the food and drinks. (By the way, I am informed that Untitled has the largest collection of whiskeys in the US) The room was fantastic. Huge place, but in the main dining area everybody has good sight lines to the stage where live music will play. With classic burlesque between sets.

What a place!!!

By Kira W |

Went here for drinks and the live band. The band was Kendre Music they were amazing. We did make reservations hours ahead of time. We actually got really lucky and got one of the tables front and center. The men ordered old fashions and said that they were great. We only ordered appetizers. They were all great. What took me by surprise was the burlesque dancer. She was absolutely amazing. I didn't know about that prior to coming to the venue. The bathroom was nice. The waiting area was nice. There is a coat check area if you need that. The decor is nice as well. It is a little expensive. I cant wait till I come back to Chicago to go again.

Decent food, wonderful ambiance

By nik_mchicago |

We arrived there on a Saturday night and had dinner and drinks for a party of two. Sweet potato dish and salad were very good. We skipped entrees and ordered a couple more appetizers. The focaccia bread was served deep fried but isn't noted as such on the menu. The waitress admitted that was a mistake and asked if we'd be okay with ciabatta bread instead (to have with an accompanied dip). We said fine but then were served some sort of greasy texas toast type bread pretending to be ciabatta. We didn't object as we didn't want to send it back a 2nd time. Service was very good and live music played in the background. Tasty whiskey of the month!

One of the best venues in Chicago

By Kevo521 |

This is without a doubt one of the best restaurant/bar‘s/live entertainment venues in the city of Chicago. From the outside it’s just a canopy over the door so if you’re not paying attention you would drive right by it. But once inside, it is an extremely large place with an upstairs and a downstairs. I came here with my wife to celebrate our sixth year wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint at all!! I would recommend this place to anyone for a romantic dinner, or to party with friends. They have the largest whiskey selection in North America. The food is absolutely fantastic! I ordered the beef short ribs and they were so tender I could cut the meat with my fork. Seasoned to perfection, and the meat melted in my mouth. I also ordered the grilled brussels sprouts and they were absolutely delicious. After dinner, my wife and I went to another section of the restaurant that played live music, and after the live performance they have a DJ that spins live music till 4 AM. This place gets a big thumbs up from me! Anyone reading this, go check it out you won’t be disappointed.

Visited for 2nd time in one week!

By Belangelie |

A long selection of American whiskies, very good service and food. Pleasant atmosphere with nice musique. At the end try the chocolate desert, it is amazing. Highly recommended.

What a fun Friday evening!

By John D |

we had a group of 6 celebrating a new job and a birthday. They had a big 8 piece brass band playing and they were incredible. 4 of the 6 ordered the mussels based on past experience and one short rib (great) and the half chicken. The roasted veggies pushed it over the top. Martinis and Meiomi Pinot Noir made it a great night. Fours hours later the bill for 6 was $500 including a nice tip for Jasmine. She is performing next Thursday night the 19th of April in the Burlesque show. MMMM.

Nice ambiance

By April G |

We went to Untitled while visiting Chicago for my daughter's birthday. We walked through what just looked like a tiny door flanked between other businesses, but really opened up to a really spacious venue, very reminiscent of an old speak easy. It was free admission, which was a shock, and free entertainment. The band was phenomenal. Between sets, there was a burlesque dancer. My only suggestion is don't go hungry. The servings are very small and expensive. And the biggest negative is that they won't split the check. It was almost as though the waitress' head was about to explode at the thought of it. We were a group of 10 mostly couples but everyone didn't know each other & didn't want to be responsible for paying for someone elses meal, and I don't feel they should. People were paying with credit/debit cards and didn't have much cash. After hunting down the waitress, it took almost a half hour just to close out dinner. It really dampened the evening because we had planned to shift to the other room for cocktails but after that drama i was done. All in all, is go back, just not in a group.

Unusual venue with great food and bourbon

By Rachel7890 |

This bar is designed around a speakeasy. It’s unusually decorated inside and I particularly liked the wall with the bank vaults and lounging sofas. I had the steak for main course and it was perfectly cooked - my friends had the salmon and they said it was delicious too. We took part in some bourbon tasting which was a lot of fun! And delicious! For a fun night out I would totally recommend untitled!

Great whisky bar in former bank

By Willem K |

Loved the whisky bar. We were here during a burlesque evening. Somewhat pricy, but probably par for the course - $160 for 9 servings of whisky. I hated the enforced bag check plus costs, where they don’t take card - that’s ridiculous. Also hate the person at the bathroom trying to sell stuff - I can’t get my own piece of paper, thank you very much.

Top notch entertainment, food and service

By Shelliu |

I have been to Untitled three times and this sealed the deal as one of my top 5 favorites in Chicago!! Exceptional food, live music and cabaret, great service all at an underground speakeasy with the largest American Whiskey selection in the US.

All the bourbons!

By Mr. Oke |

Went for an after party and stayed for the bourbons! Great place took care of our group really well. It was crazy busy but staff was on point! Certainly had one hell of a bourbon selection!

Too confuse

By Andre O |

I didn't too excited for the food. Ee went to the three course meal, and was good and pretty standard. They was really in need of additional waiters. We was told that the plates get at table as become ready, we have the oysters, appetizer, just before the desert.

Perfect Date Night!

By Jiggy |

We came for dinner and a show and boy did we get one. The stage performance was wonderful - truly talented singers and even a burlesque interlude between sets. But the food was also amazing - I pretty much wanted to order every shareable plate on the menu and might end up coming back to do just that. The drinks were also very good. And the service was friendly. After the show, the place turned into a nightclub with dancing and a DJ, so we didn't have to go anywhere else to keep our date night going. It was also one of the only places in Chicago that I've been where the entire city comes together. It was fantastic.

Great Place!

By Josh J |

Nice lounge atmosphere with great musicians! Good was good too although the service was a little slow. Great overall! Highly Recommend!

Good food

By Wrx8 |

They have a Tuesday 3 course prix fix menu The food is very good and well prepared and original but even for small plates some can be a little too small and for the price a little high. The prix fixe was well worth it, one larger plate on the a la carte menu was almost the price of the prix fixe $30! Servers quite attentive, Decor is relaxed, they weren't very busy and it wasn't loud which was nice even though its very much a drinking establishment with a humongous selection spirits. Worth trying.

Great evening

By Carolyn C |

Elegant atmosphere, great food. The wait staff was professional and efficient. The private room worked great for the large team from work. Tables are a good size to foster conversation.

Not sure I can describe this place

By Joshua F |

Speak easy? Massive liquor collection? Club? I don't know how to describe this place except yes. The place is just amazing for the senses. The decor is beautiful, the food was great and the liquor--wow. Not cheap and worth every penny.

Chicago dining fave!

By Sherpa787039 |

This has become a must visit restaurant on our trips to Chicago. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is great quality and properly proportioned. The ambiance is a fun, enjoyable vibe. Was super excited to be there on prime rib night and was very happy with the way it was perfectly prepared.

Good food, Great service

By Sari E |

My friends surprised me by taking me here on a Saturday evening for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere and decor is super cool. A prohibition theme. When we were leaving a wall opened up with a band behind it!! Sat in a curtained off booth. There were 5 of us and we ordered lots of small plates including the cheese board (disappointing for this level of restaurant), the pork ribs, the octopus, the pull apart pretzel (all of those just ok), the tots (not what you think...an upscale and interesting version but needed seasoning!), deviled eggs (very good!!), the tuna ceviche (great) and the gnocchi (the best dish BY FAR!!). Our server, the back waiters and a manager all made appearances at our table...they were friendly, helpful and unpretentious. And the bathroom is cool with an attendant at the ready with anything you could need. My drink, a pretty standard Moscow mule, was Terrible. Way too much lime juice and not sure any ginger beer or liquor was in it. And the desserts were hit and miss. Apple tart was fantastic and the deconstructed s’mores were meh. I was surprised this place has so many accolades. Really, the food is average but the service and decor made the night for me.

Five Star Night

By Yvonne S |

Absolutely AMAZING! It was our first trip to Chicago and I wanted to book a dinner show to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. I called and spoke to Evan, I believe, and he was extremely helpful in assisting me with making a reservation choice. From start to finish, it was no less than spectacular. It is an orgasm of the senses. Upon walking in, we were greeted by the perfect doorman. The warmth and rich tones of the venue are luxurious. It is evident that the staff works to make guests feel welcome and hustles to provide a good flow for seating. Each room has a different vibe and since we were celebrating, we chose front and center for our experience. Yasmean, our server, was exceptional. She guided us through both the cocktail and dinner menu with ease, offering great choices. She was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient! The food was very good. We started with the tomato appetizer and ordered both fish entrees with a side of rosemary fries, all of which were delicious. The icing on the cake was the incredible band performing. Morry Sochat and the Special 20’s made our evening complete. I highly recommend everything about the Untitled Supper Club. I can’t wait to visit again when I return to this exciting city!

Don't Waste Your Money

By MAmler |

I made a reservation here to celebrate my niece's engagement. We had an adequate dinner in the Whiskey Library, but could not see the entertainment. We were told by our server that we could go to the bar area by the stage if we wished, for a better view of the entertainment. We moved to the bar after spending almost $300.00 on dinner for three people. Upon arriving in the entertainment area , the bartender refused to wait on us, saying bar seats were reserved. We told him our server in the Whiskey Library said we could come to the bar, but he still would not serve us drinks. I cannot recommend this restaurant as the food is overpriced and merely adequate. I suggest to management that you speak to your staff and figure out what your policy is for the entertainment area, there should be absolutely no confusion. There were several empty tables and bar stools in the entertainment area and in the rest of the restaurant. You could have made more money, but I won't be back and I will certainly tell other folks to avoid this establishment.

What a hoot! Great Food and Music

By Tammy P |

Met friends there who live in the Chicago area and have been many times. Its truly untitled. All you see outside is a black door and the address number 111. Open that small door to another world. The building is huge. We ate at a private booth. There were 5 of us and we were seated very comfortably. We had drinks, wine and many appetizers. All were good. After dinner we headed to another huge room with tons of tables,2 bars a large stage and dance floor. The band was fun playing old school dance music and new stuff as well. We danced and had a few more drinks. It was an all in one evening event without going multiple places.

Wow, really enjoyed this special evening. Food was great though the Oysters Rockefeller were ok. The lamb, steak and grilled octopus were superb The live music (R&B and jazz) and the venue were fantastic We will return and plan to grab a hotel room so we can stay and fully enjoy You gotta do this

Classic Chiago Experience

By DudefromCalifornia |

I came here with my adult son for a night out. We enjoyed the drinks, food and music at the Untitled Supper Club on a cold Chicago night. Get ready to pay for a good time, but in line with higher end restaurants. I saw large groups of people as well as couples drinking, eating dinner and listening to music. Crowd tends to be well-dressed and a good age mix, with many in their 30s and 40s.

Beautiful venue. Great food. Live music. Burlesque.

By Bacinac |

Stopped by on a Saturday night to enjoy the food, drink and music. Excellent oysters (mud bay and glacier bay) on the half shell. Steak tartare was superb as was the cheese offering. We didn’t try any entrees - the various appetizers were enough. Great cocktails at reasonable prices. The scotch-neat however was overpriced at $22 for a Talisker 10 year. Untitled has a ballroom with band stage designed to serve dinner for about 150+ people. It includes 2 bars with one behind the stage. It also has two side rooms with bars - one with couches for lounging and the other for dinner overflow. We ate in the overflow room and then sat down at the bar in the ballroom to enjoy the music and burlesque dancing at intermission. Definitely need reservation for main ballroom seating. Also check the calendar for events. I don’t think they have entertainment every night. However, I’m sure to visit again... It’s marvelous what they can offer at Untitled Supper Club. Parking can be tough and expensive. There are garages nearby. Street parking is also available but it’s $4 an hour with a 2 hour limit.

Celebrated a friend’s birthday

By Grace A |

Celebrated a friend’s birthday here over wonderful drinks dinner and a live music show and loved everything about it! The place is superb, a sultry speakeasy with many different and gorgeous rooms. Service excellent from Will who started when it opened 8Y ago. 2 of us had cocktail called Sweet but not too sweet (so good!) not on menu anymore, and 2 had something raspberry ish called Blush and they also liked it. Food wow it was unexpectedly good: Deviled eggs so tasty with truffles in them we had to order more, Pork Ribs fall Off the bone tender and tangy, Shrimp scampi bit tough but the garlic butter delish, Hangar steak perfect and a huge portion to share, polenta with spinach and portobello tasty.... The set was pretty good (you can check for the lineup), and there’s a small dance floor in front of the stage. A burlesque show during intermission. Very interesting. Just a wonderful place for great food and adult entertainment.

Date night Sat.

By Anna P |

Second time there great music and atmosphere. The food very tasty but pricey for the amount of food you get. Would definitely go back. At 1100 it turns into a club all the 20-35 invade. Not crazy about drinks on dance floor and spilling . So we usually dance a few songs then leave not for 50-60 unless you want to be bumped and spilled on. Other than that great music and ambiance. Ps burlesques dancers great but no male dancers for the ladies.

Price not worth the quality

By Claudia S |

The atmosphere and service by the staff is great. However, the quality is not good at all. Ordered a few drinks that were $15 on the online menu, but when the bill came it was $21 for the drinks. Asked about it and they said the price of the drinks must have been raised (by 6$..) but gave us a 10% discount for the confusion. Additionally, the meals were small and not great. The pasta had zero flavor, although the wedge salad was great. Overall, the service and atmosphere is good, but the quality of food and drinks is not worth the money.

Simply outstanding

By ChiefWolf |

A birthday dinner which was excellent in quality, flavor and variety. This is not only an excellent restaurant but also a bar (several on site) as well as a show venue. We only did dinner as typically shows are later in the week or weekend. The food was outstanding. It has good variety of dishes & a good wine list. And on Tuesday’s, there are a few wines half off. We will return. One of our best dining experiences and very memorable. We ordered the short ribs & scallops, octopus appetizer, Bolognese pasta, amongst others. All were excellent.

Great Food and A Fun Experience

By Keep_A_Happy_Wife |

Let's get the two minor issues out of the way (both of which are just part of the experience really). One, it is very difficult to find. We walked right by it, had to call the restaurant and still had trouble getting to the front door. That, I suppose, is part of the "speakeasy" experience. The second is the noise level. It's pretty loud in the dining room and it made it difficult to hear our waiter. With that out of the way, let me say that this place really wows! They have very distinct dining rooms, each with a character all their own. The service is very attentive and helpful. They know their menus and they know how to take care of their customers. The food menu is "tapas style" which I usually don't care for, but it really seems to work here. Portions of everything (even the "small" plates) are big enough to easily share. They boast a 500 item whisky list. While that is impressive there aren't a lot of hard-to-find bourbons on the list, but they did actually have everything I ordered (which isn't always the case at other restaurants with extensive lists). One of the dining rooms has live music which was very nice. Even though we weren't in that room, we could still easily hear the performance. My wife and I have a supper club group that will have to travel to Chicago to visit Untitled. I am looking forward to coming back when it will be much easier for me to find!

Speak easy ambiance with great staff and good food

By Holly V |

We visited for my kids 21st birthdays. The meal was better than I expected, the skirt steak and ribeye were on point. However, don't go for the drinks, they are weak. Do go for the entertainment; at times funny and others simply awestruck. The guy with the bowling balls opens the show and he is pretty amazing as are the dancers, esp. the women dancing on their own -- great creativity and mad skills. Our server was attentive and charming.

Get past security & it's wonderful

By AAGuide |

I'm all for security staff - door men, bouncers or muscle. Untitled however has the most unfriendly security in the city. On our first visit - 4 business colleagues - we were told no t shirts with patterns were allowed and only shirts with collars would be allowed. After an ID check and negotiations we were given access to a great bar/restaurant/club...full of errrr people in t shirts!!! That said the food was fantastic, the cocktails excellent and the live band a huge success. I've been back a few times and the same staff have always been there -brusque and diligent. The staff recognised me on visit three and comped me an old fashioned - might send one upstairs next visit...

Phenomenal Cocktails and Whiskey Selection in Chicago

By karandyman |

If you enjoy whiskey/bourbon/rye, then this is your place. Our drinks were phenomenal. They have a vast collection of whiskey spirits. I highly recommend. Drinks were perfectly made by expert cocktail craftsmen.

Great place for an entire evening out

By Warren and Sharon |

We were a group of two tourist couples who were looking for a good place for a night out of dinner and dancing. We are all in our early 50's so finding a place to dance that's not a club is tough. I found the Untitled Supper Club on line somehow and am extremely happy we did. Rumor is it's in an old speakeasy. Not sure if that's true or not but it added an air of excitement to a place which was a bit hidden, down below street level, just like a speakeasy. If you go, make sure you have the address. You'll find it, but probably while walking rather than driving by. Don't hesitate to ask someone if you don't see it. Once inside, no password needed, you'll head down stairs to an open lobby that leads to 3 different areas. We were in the dining room near the stage and felt it was a great location. They had a live jazz band playing during dinner hours, then a singer took the stage and played 3 sets, each getting more lively as the night went on. In between each set we were kept entertained by a tasteful burlesque performance. The entertainment was fantastic all night. After the last set of the singer, the place transformed into a nightclub and the younger crowd started to filter in. The dance floor opened up and the DJ got started playing some great dance tunes from the 80s and 90s at first, then started getting more modern. Again, a blast. Dinner was also great. We had a terrific waiter, Colin, who made some helpful recommendations and never once made us feel rushed. We were able to keep our table all night, thanks to Colin and us ordering drinks as needed. Each couple got two apps and one main dish which was plenty. Nobody was left hungry. Recommend the crab fritters and the meatball apps and the scallops for the main. All were fantastic. Since one in our group was celebrating a birthday, we let them know when we made a reservation. They took care of us with a wonderful dessert. There is a ton of wait staff and support staff. And your water glass will never get below half full. I also loved that they took your silverware after each course and gave you a new set. Just says class. And if you're into whiskey, you're in your element here. One of the three bars has literally hundreds of different whiskey's on the shelves. Overall, a really fun night. If you go here you will not be disappointed. We had a blast and enjoyed a great dinner. Highly recommended!

Amazing Service and Delicious Food!

By HooksP |

We were in town for a concert and grabbed a bite beforehand (we were a bit early so no live music or show while we were there, but have heard they just add to the atmosphere). Tori and Audel took such good care of us throughout the meal and made it an even better experience. Tori's recommendations were greatly appreciated and delicious. Highly recommend the deviled eggs and the crab fritters! If you have Tori and/or Audel serving your table, consider yourself lucky and enjoy the evening!

Between blues and burlesque

By Babette Axel |

A place worth visiting for the prohibitionist atmosphere, for the musical offering, for the shows and performances. Less attractive gastronomic proposal, with a quality/price ratio unbalanced on the latter. The list of whiskeys is noteworthy, with its exposed wall which one cannot help but admire for its magnificence and glance.

BOURBON BOURBON BOURBON

By gdc701 |

They have an unbelievable selection of bourbon! The prices are reasonable, selection is great, and be sure to make a reservation in the bourbon library for dinner!

A literal "Hidden" gem

By Peter B |

Was fortunate enough to have lunch here as part of a tour. You would have never know this place existed unless someone told you. It's not the kind of establishment you just stumble upon. The ambiance is mesmerizing in this downstairs modern day speak-easy. The whiskey and bourbon selection is the best I've ever seen. Ask the bartender what you like and he will show you things you will like more and didn't even know existed. All the good was good tasting especially the mushroom risotto.

Thursday Burlesque is Incredible

By maxtooth |

Had the best time on a Thursday night. Make a reservation before you go, and you will be able to sit wherever you want. Don’t make a reservation and you will be standing. We sat up front, and i can’t wait to come back to Chicago to experience this again. A true highlight of my trip.

Great experience

By Greg M |

Went with a reservation on a Saturday. Great crowd. Upscale. Terrific live music. Did not expect the burlesque, but it was a fun addition. Excellent service. The food was pretty decent and came quickly. Will absolutely go back.

Must visit

By The Travelling Larrikin |

Great place for food, drinks & live music. Can’t go wrong in Chicago. Entrance maybe a bit tricky to notice, plain door with no sign

Really Cool!

By Charlie L |

Really Cool place, decked out like a speakeasy, with separate whisky bar, library bar and stage area with acts/bands. Good food too, although one dish was very salty. Amazing selection of whiskies!

Unexpected surprise

By MAbendhoff |

Heard many good things about Untitled, so decided to give it a shot. We were very impressed, with both the food and environment. Dinner and a show! We were there on a Saturday at 8:00pm. The menu is designed to be shared with portions enough for 2. Definitely try the pork belly and the deviled egg - my two favorites. Excellent bar service although my old fashioned was a tad sweet - ask for a shot on the side or tell them to go light on the simple syrup. The unexpected surprise was the band - they covered songs from the 70's - today and were excellent. Not many bands can pull off vintage Michael Jackson then transition to Daft Punk. Another nice surprise was the burlesque show in between sets. Very classy a throwback to the 30's. Will visit again soon.

The great whiskey affair

By Leo E |

One of the best whiskey selections in the city, with gourmet food served by pros, whom love to enhance your experience anyway possible.

Excellent music, service and food second time around

By LThomas1301 |

Dined again late evening to catch last 2 hours of live band performance. Sat in main stage area. Band performs 8-11pm. Excellent entertainment - Park and Ride. Great table service - attentive and friendly even in the dark, loud dining area. Tasty cocktails. Delicious food. Must have the cornbread. Delectable! Duck, burger, pork belly and black cod all very good. Portions are reasonable which I liked. We finished everything. Very enjoyable evening. Great music, food and service. Second time matched first visit. Will return for right band. Highly recommend.

Fun place to escape

By Vernon B |

Friday night at Untitled was a relaxing atmosphere with great drinks. The entertainment was solid with fun people watching. The sliders on the appetizer menu was awesome and I would highly recommend. The burlesque dancer was entertaining and had a great smile

Very nice evening!

By RescuePaws22 |

Staying in the neighborhood, wanted a place close-by with music, good food and drink - and the reviews led us here. Correct the door is unmarked which was part of the allure for me. Check out the menu before you go and make sure there is something for everyone to eat. The ribs are phenomenal. The frites were also super tasty. Paired the food with the favorite whiskey fleet (their pick) and we really liked 2/3. The Blues musician last night was lovely. Absolutely no complaints! As an aside, we had a reservation, doubt we really needed it on a Wed night. And, evidently there is a dress code which we did not quite meet (might have been my flip-flops), but they let us in anyway.

Awesome atmosphere and fantastic food

By hilpup24 |

Wow, wow, wow. First of all, this place is fantastic in all respects. Is it cheap? No. Is it worth the prices? YES! If you are looking for a fun and different type of restaurant, the Untitled Supper Club will NOT disappoint. The food is meant to be shared among the table and all the items I had were outstanding. What else do you expect from a Michelin rated chef/restaurant?! The night I went a blues/jazz group called Toronzo Cannon played and it was the perfect ending to a perfect date. We stayed late into the night dancing to the group and then the DJ that played after. The crowd was a mix of all ages and people were there in cocktail dresses/tuxedos, as well as more business casual clothing. It had a feeling of being upscale without being pretentious. Overall, one of the best nights I've spent in Chicago and I used to live there!

Amazing

By Luciana C |

The place has an amazing atmosphere. The service was super efficient and we had a delicious dinner. We were in a big group and the server was very good. She was bringing the drinks all the time so we didn't need to go to the bar. The show is a must. If you are heading to Chicago and want to see something different, just go! I highly recommend!

Great bar, good whiskey drinks, good dance floor.

By stepusin |

This place feels cool from the time you get there. Great atmosphere, with a good dance floor but a lot of room to get away from the crowd. The sazarac and the old fashion are delicious.

Late Drink

By Jimmy A |

We were looking for a drink to finish of the nght - most places closed as a Monday & not many cocktail bars around - we found this place on Trip Advisor & 3 of us popped in - nice ambiance - lovely cocktails - some dude had sat at my table with my wife & daughter when I was in the gents - as I was coming back Manger told him to move & she then gave us our cocktails for free ! Apart from that I would recommend anyway - nice place.

Great music & vibe

By Nikoo |

We went to untitled later at night for having a drink and a bit of dancing. Untitled met definitely our expectations! Great music and a good mix of people enjoying themselves. We felt safe and welcomed, which is important visiting as a tourist.

Have been here on other trips

By nibaldom2015 |

Have been here on other trips to Chicago. This place has great live music as well as Burlesque show, classy. The bourbon selection and drinks are excellent. Highly Recommend visiting this place. Enjoy

Great place

By Dash |

We were taken to this place by a Chicago native It is vast downstairs and extremely popular and decorated like a speakeasy It has a massive whisky selection and the bar stay are extremely knowledgeable on drinks We really enjoyed the band in particular the female singer’s voice A must visit to Chicago

Nice speakeasy

By Redshirts889 |

The place is made to feel like a speakeasy from yesterday, with the cool black & white that play vintage movie to “The largest Whiskey Bar in the city”, according to our waiter. The is a fun place to hang out and have a slow drink kind of place. We were there during “Restaurant week” as get to sample many dishes at a set fee. Our party had the daily oysters, lamb & pork meat ball, deviled egg, grilled caesar salad, burrata & beets, grilled skirt steak, twice roasted chicken, skin bay salmon in banana leaf, cheese cake, pumpkin spice cream brĂ»lĂ©e. No complaints, just wish the portion size was little bigger ;-) 2 Tips, if you have 6 people or more reserves the private booth, it’s more quite and fun for your group. And bring small bills to the bathroom, there’s a attendant working in there and you may need to tip him/her.

Business Dinner

By N9626BFdavec |

Food was average, presentation was good. The waitress was very good and attentive. Everything you ordered was shared by all. We had appetizers then the main course. It was not your usual fare, different items and combinations. We had no salad or vegetables other than a few small potatoes. They had live entertainment which was good, but it was way too loud. Virtually impossible to carry on a conversation at your table. If you want to get a drink and listen to music then it is probably a good atmosphere. I would not go back again, not my cup of tea.

Fantasy experience in original speak easy

By Rob P |

The concierge of our hotel gave us this tip and we were glad we went! Great live music, great atmosphere and fantastic food. The only downside was that It was slightly too cold in the room.

Amazing food and live entertainment!

By StanleyandMarie |

We visited this place on a Saturday night for dinner and scored a table in the entertainment area. We arrived just as the band was warming up, ordered our drinks and meal and sat back and enjoyed the show. The band was awesome - played lots of Motown and encouraged participation by the audience. You could just see the place warm up! The food was simply outstanding....we shared an appetizer but made the mistake of ordering an entree each. My salmon and hubby's gumbo pot pie were excellent, but some of the food needed to come home since there was so much. We did try dessert...shared the whoopie pies and cheesecake between four of us (whoopie pies were our favourite!). Loved the atmosphere of the speakeasy entrance and all of the rooms. Whether you come for the meal, a drink or the entertainment, you won't be disappointed!

Great food and music

By 177ClaudioLuca |

Very good menu combination! Try the bacon fries and tartare! Very good life music and great drinks! Will come back

Dark and cool

By Bruce M |

Not an easy place to find (the unmarked door looks like it is the loading dock for the CVS next door). You walk down a big set of barely lit stairs into a very cool space with big doors, dark wood, high ceilings and swanky servers. There are several tables that are almost completely private, and they run various kinds of entertainment. I liked it enough to go here 2 nights in a row. That is rare. Big whiskey collection and the food is unusual and quite good. Had the devlied eggs and scallops, both excellent.

Spectacular time

By Bacinac |

Untitled did a fantastic job catering to our company event. Their lower ballroom accommodated over 300 of our staff. Three bar areas, huge dance floor and band, ample seating and incredibly friendly staff made for an absolutely fantastic evening. The menu included mushroom risotto, tender beef brisket, seafood paella, and a turkey dish. All of these items were served up as all you can eat appetizer sized portions. I preferred this over buffet because you get to experience all the flavors from each separately. The bars were all well stocked. We had a limited drink menu as part of our event but it looks like the Untitled bartending staff can make just about anything. We loved the speakeasy theme. We all dressed up in our favorite ‘20 gear. It was great place for our company theme building. I would love to visit again.

Not sure what the attraction is - for us, it was like eating in a dungeon

By Dedgehog |

We picked this place at random as it was relatively near to the downtown theater district. The first trick is finding the place since there are no signs just the 111 address. After entering, we descended steep stairs to the basement where the hostess selected the worst table in a completely empty dining-room completely devoid of any decoration - we managed to change tables. We both ordered the fish-fry, which was acceptable but nothing special - about the same as you'd get in a Greek diner. We were given a dessert menu that was filthy, covered in food stains. The gingerbread smores that we ordered was uninspired but OK. The service was OK.

THE spot.

By Marisol T |

This place has music for everyone and somethings thats will pull at all your senses. The sounds, the dancers, the lights, the food, the people are great. Bring in people you really vibe with!

Cool Vibe, Poor Service, Overpriced Drinks

By joshua916 |

The tortellini was the absolute best I have ever had. The s'mores dessert was unique and delicious. Unfortunately, the service was ho hum, and just plan slow for most of our meal. 28 minutes after we sat down our 1st round of drinks arrived. The well old Fashioned was $12, and small by most standards. Good beer selection but it was served in warm glasses. This place is kinda cool but it's also full of itself. No need to return. We would have easily ordered 2 more rounds of drinks, if our waitress ever returned.

What an experiance!

By Mike C |

We stumbled on this place after reading a review and were absolutely blown away. A very unique feel to the entire place, kind of old school but high end. There were 5 of us and all of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The wine selection was great and the rum selection (Mount Gay 1703) was a very nice surprise. We shared a bunch of starters and sides, the bacon fat frites were as good as you can imagine and everyone was blown away by the steak tartare and the Brussel sprouts. The thing that really made the entire night was the live music! One of the best bands I have ever heard live. They knew how to get the crowd going, played songs that everyone loved and had everyone dancing in their seats. If I am ever in the Chicago area again this will be on my list of places to eat.

Amazing wall of whiskey

By brendac722016 |

We went here for a few drinks & appetizers and it was fantastic. We were in the lounge area but there are a few other rooms for dinning & entertainment. There was a band playing in the entertainment area which were very good and the dinning area appeared to be full. Our bar staff were extremely friendly and very informative. They helped you select the best drink for your liking. If you are a whiskey drinker then this is the place for you....the selection is huge. Drinks were very good and our appetizers were fantastic.

Impressive space. Nice vibe.

By Bacinac |

The first time I visited it was with a company event. We had the whole place to ourselves and had access to the ballroom. It’s marvelous what they can offer at Untitled. And, with a full blown 1920s themed party, the speakeasy vibe was alive and well. On this visit ,I stopped in for an appetizer and a cocktail. We only had access to one room. It was a lively atmosphere. The speakeasy theme didn’t resonate as much on a normal Monday night but the food and drinks were good. Service seemed a bit slow but we weren’t in a hurry. I didn’t care for their version of a sazerac but I liked the other drink—which I can’t remember. We had a fried pepper and cauliflower dish served with yogurt. It was good but not what I expected-I wouldn’t order it again. However, I’m sure to visit again...especially nice with a larger group. Reservations suggested. Parking can be tough and expensive. There are garages nearby. Street parking is also available but it’s $4 an hour with a 2 hour limit. Maybe best to rideshare or take a taxi.

Low-Key yet AMAZING

By Shanel S |

I love the ambiance of this place! I hear they are the go to place for the scotch! The food is diamond quality! The servers are just adorable! Have a whole party here! Live music and burlesque shows- how much better can it get!

Bourbon, burlesque, beef and more.

By JALToronto |

Fun, lively, and entertaining place. Great looking food and show. Worth going and inviting others for a Thursday night.

5 Star Atmosphere!

By Bobbie021 |

The atmosphere is great. It transforms you into a prohibition speakeasy. There is not a sign on the door. Our friends were from Chicago and knew where it was. If your not familiar with the city, just look for a gangster type guy out front on the street. The four of us ate in a private alcove with curtains. Our waiter, Will was very nice but not so attentive. They told us the entrees were "shareable". They were only enough for one person. LOL! We asked for salt with three different attendants. They all were so nice in saying they would get it. We never got salt. This was all funny to us. We really didn't want salt. With this all being said, we loved the place and will go back. BTW, they had a great band in one room. Great bourbon and spirits list. We missed the burlesque dancers to the guys disappointment.

Great Evening

By SouthernBoy11 |

My friend lives in Chicago so when I visited he suggested this place. What a fabulous evening. Decor is cool, vibe is great, food and drinks top class, music excellent. I'd recommend this place to everyone visiting Chicago.

OMG, a must do!!!

By JAM |

I hope next time to visit this place and make a reso. Enjoyed the music, and even the in-between entertainment (like a gentleman's club), but definitely high-end experience and atmosphere. LOVED the appetizers! Especially the Tuna app (cannot recall name of the dish)- but get it! Cannot wait to return!!

GATSBY STYLE !

By Elsak24 |

Take a step back in time - GATSBY STYLE .... jazz, burlesque, drinks- a fresh take on the 1920s. Apps- pork belly, bacon fries!!! Entree- skirt steak with apples , yum! We went on Friday night but had reservations days in advance with prime view of stage. Great live jazz band- dance if you want. Must go at least once!

Great place for music and vibe - Unique

By patrick o |

First off, it's pretty hard to find... thus the name. Basically, just an address on the side of the building and the door was open. No signs... Once you get in there, it's impressive. Dark, with wood and great lighting that makes you feel your in a cabaret or nightclub. We had food and cocktails. I thought the food was above average but not really why you go here. The entertainment and vibe was great though. The music is pretty loud so if you want to chat, pick one of the rooms outside of the stage area. If you want ot see a great show and enjoy the entertainment, get close to the stage. Would definitely go again.

Secret gem

By James V |

This place was recommend to us by a friend and initially it was hard to find as there are no real indicators as to where it is! Eventually we found the restaurant which was dark but very cool! The food was fantastic! We then found out that there was a club attached to the place so we moved into there and had one of the best nights I've had anywhere! Friendly and fun venue - we'll definitely be back!

Great Night - Entertained

By Imafoodie2 |

We had a Great time at this place. Drinks were good, food was good (shared plates), if you are there for the music, make sure you reserve in the lounge area, although there is a 2 hour limit on the table. we had reservation at 8:15, so we were good, they did not need it back for people that were dining at 10:15 so we were able to stay put for the night. Band went till 11, then they had a DJ and place sort of turns into a night club younger crowd rather quickly, since we are over 50, we left and went to a bar down the street, we would of stayed but music changed after the Motown - Soul band that was playing. Place gets very busy, also gets a little difficult to track down a server for additional drinks, but they try and keep up. It was also a bit loud, but remember you are there to listen to music, dance and have fun, no in depth dinner conversations, at least not in the lounge. They also had a burlesque dancer! She appeared between the band sets, maybe 3 times. Talented young lady, takes some guts to expose yourself to that large of a crowd. Go, have fun!

Unparalleled Untitled

By novacamp |

Untitled Supper Club has first-class whiskeys to accompany first-class food...at first-class prices. This place is for special occasions for most of us. The restaurant is an old speakeasy and could be hard to find. Hint: the padded door is to the left of the CVS. Once through the door, you descend stairs to the restaurant below ground. The interior is dark woods that give a very intimate feel. There are several rooms. Our room included tables behind curtains. Unfortunately there was no live music when we visited. Spouse started with a tasting flight of whiskeys. This is 4 glasses of 1.5 oz. each, Spouse choice a series of Maker's Mark, including an aged whiskey exclusively for Untitled. I enjoyed the Kentucky Pirate cocktail, which is Old Forester Bourbon, Plantation Pineapple Rum, Orgeat, Lime, Pineapple and Berry Meritage Shrub, and Mint. They have a good selection of these types of special cocktails. The entrees are meant to be shared and be multiple, i.e. one does not satisfy for a meal. Spouse had 9 oysters, as they are sold individually. We also enjoyed the Parmesan & Ricotta Tortellini and Herb Crusted Rabbit Fricassee. Nicely presented. Service was very attentive with fewer patrons. Untitled Supper Club could not be a regular stop for us, but it was a beautiful place to indulge ourselves.

Great music and drinks

By Janet L |

We shared four small plates: pretzel w/cheese, shrimp scampi, Caesar salad, and another I don't recall. The drinks were decent strength and we went at least two rounds. There were couples dancing. The music was loud, so not a good spot for conversation, but we didn't mind. Reservations highly recommended.

Friday night live music and burlesque dancing

By Bacinac |

Untitled continues to impress. I visit about once a month. Friday and Saturday nights have great live music with burlesque dancing at intermission. (Maybe other events during the week—always best to call ahead). Food is excellent although this time I only had cocktails. They have several rooms and bars in the establishment. You can choose from the main dining room to two side rooms depending on what vibe you are looking for. Great place for tourists and locals.

Food, beer and all that jazz!

Great night at the Untitled where I enjoyed a superb dinner with steak and oysters and an amazing show of music! one of my fav places in Chicago!

Superb

By Gillian920 |

This place was brilliant! Music was great food was good but not outstanding! But the overall experience is amazing, we had a cocktail in one of the bars before being seated in front of the band. Would return to this place again.

Whisky, Whiskey and Spirits!

By Neil A |

Untitled Supper Club is a must stop for me in Chicago. The Library is a sensory overload of fine spirits and the attentive nature of the bartenders finding the right libation for ones palate is par excellence. Service is proper and attentive without be pushy or cutesy and the staff is most appropriately attired. Soon, I will return.

Horrible experience!

By mbga2014 |

Had a table of 6 reservation for dinner ( at 7:30 pm) and to hear the live music- starting at 8:00. As we were seated, we were told we had a 2 hour time limit. Next, they offered a price fix dinner option along with their regular menu, however when our server came back and we had one person not wanting the price fix dinner, we were told it had to be the entire table doing the price fix or none. We then all agreed to the price fix 4 course dinner. The service was not great. My entrée didn't come at all and we had to flag down someone to get the entrée. The manager did come over and gave me a free glass of wine for the problem. I noticed at 9:30, (our 2 hour limit), we had not received dessert yet. We paid our large bill and immediately the manager came over and said "you have to evacuate the table now"- !!! ( I'm thinking, probably not a great choice of words to use in this world today) Of course this made my husband a bit angry and the manager did not even offer another table for us to go to or "Please go to the bar area, etc. etc"- The manager then called security and we were escorted out by guards. Quite funny, considering we are in our 50's! The food was marginal, the band was a B-, but the memory of the night will live on and we will not be back.

Let down

By fmc427 |

Unfortunately my friends and I did not have a great experience here. Besides the entertainment and the delicious food our experience was a let down. I'm not sure if our server was new, but he sucked to put it lightly. When we first arrived they would not let us wear our bridal party pins and they wouldn't let the bride wear her sash. So they asked to hold them until we were done eating and in place of them they gave us 7 drink vouchers (we were okay with this). However, our server acted like he had no idea what they were and asked to see them like 4 different times throughout the night. He then told us that we could only use them for beer and wine when the manager who gave them to us said we could use them for whatever we wanted. Throughout the night our waiter kept going to the bride-to-be and asking if everyone was good instead of walking around the table and asking each of us. I've been a waitress before so I am familiar with restaurant customer service, and this was not okay. In addition to that, when we would put in drink orders, which were never more than two drinks at a time total, he would come back and ask who got the drink as if he wasn't the one who took the order, which was really annoying. When it came to our food, it all came out at different times, which was explained to us that they only serve when there is a pause in the entertainment, but that doesn't explain why two girls' food came out 20 minutes after the rest of ours. When we were ready to leave and pay the bill, the waiter told us that he took 7 drinks off of the bill as if he was doing us a favor, however we had the drink voucher tickets. I didn't pay the bill, but I do believe they ended up taking off the meal that came out late, only because my friend had to argue it. Overall, it was not a fun experience.

Entertaining

By Judith C |

We went there for the music and we were not disappointed. The ‘big band/blues’ was great. In between sets the burlesque dancer was awesome. I don’t believe it’s a fine dining spot, we enjoyed wine and appetizers. I’m a vegan so not much on the menu for me. We also went to the hip hop spot, the dj was on point, but the crowd was a bit strange, not too many on the dance floor so we left. I would recommend the live music and the dj.

Dinner and service was amazing

By Dalvisitor |

Went early before seeing Hamilton. Didn't get to stay for the entertainment. Menu was vast and drink specials and choices nice. Girls night out. Would love to go back for a show. Dark and underground so don't be shocked when you walk in. They have different rooms set up for different entertainment.

Great night out!

By Kelly Cathcart |

I have been wanting to go here for a long time. I loved it. There are 3 dining rooms. Each has a bar and the largest one hosts the lounge. They had a great show for New Years Eve Eve. The food was really good. But we should have listened to our waitress, when they say a shared entree they mean it. The food portions were really good. We had a lot of left overs. But the food was super good. They offer coat check too. The best part was the speak easy theme they have. It was just 1930's cool. The staff were all really great. I am coming back!

WOW! Just wow!

By TLunedi |

This place looked fantastic from its reviews and it exceeded expectations. First this place has a serious bar and serious bartenders. Great custom cocktails and their standards rock! This was a great experience from start to finish. The place is a little difficult to find. Just an untitled door next to a parking garage but when you descend the stairs to the basement a whole different world awaits you. Very 30's nostalgic with modern day hip! The menu made us ask questions but our waiter Julian was superb! All of his suggestions were dead-on perfect. The peppadew stuffed peppers appetizer was divine. My wife had the scallops and I had the he skirt steak. Both were incredible. The vegetable mixture under the scallops had the perfect balance of flavors with a little spice. The sauce and green apple slices served with the skirt steak was an innovative and well done addition. The food and the service were great. It was a little disappointing that they set a 2 hour maximum on your dinner seating but it is worthwhile to hang out at the bar after dinner to watch the entertainment and to hear the incredible R&B, soul and jazz. This not only is this a great restaurant but this is a fun restaurant. I can't wait to go back!

What a great place!

Just did a private event at Untitled for 750 people, can't say enough about this venue. The layout and character of the place are great, the food is absolutely amazing and the staff is top notch. A shoutout to Gino and Catfish, you guys are excellent at what you do and a pleasure to work with. Thank you!

Nice for the music

By xboshx |

First things first - the music was very nice - live music, played well. There were two paid dancers who looked deeply unenthused - they could have been animatronics for the level of excitement they generated. The food was the bigger issue. Nothing wrong per se, but the steak was boiled not fried and so there was no caramelisation of the fats meaning the fats were just boiled fat. Although the waiter knew we had never been there before, he allowed us to over order on steak sizes and sides to the point it would have fed 6-7 people not 3. I’d expect better - the level of food waste was an embarrassment. So, all in, a nice experience for live music but could be better.

Hidden Gem

By sundaisy89 |

We had heard about this place but didn't know where it was, but alas, walking down Kinzie on a Saturday night we stumbled upon the friendly "doormen" who figured we were harmless and welcomed us in. We planted ourselves at the bar to the side of the stage and made friends with the bartender who looked to be about 17 - but really was of age. His drinks were masterpieces as were the various appetizers we ordered. The show was amazing - a little bit of this and a little bit of that and then the music changed, the lights dimmed and we found ourselves in the coolest club in town.

Go to Chicago Spot!!

By daiperk |

One of my fav. Places in the country to spend an evening. Amazing atmosphere, great bar and drinks, diverse music from live bands to start the night off to multiple DJs to dance the night away. Food is very good with many yummy eclectic options. Ohhh and don't forget the sensual burlesque dancers in between sets. Never had a bad night at Untitled!!!

Way better places in Chicago

By dkerlagon |

Had some friends come into town for St. Patrick’s Day and thought might be fun. Poor attempt at a speak easy theme. Quite expensive for what you get. Marginal food and far from “craft” cocktails. Expected the food to be sub par since it was a concept restaurant but the waitress was attentive. Six of us spent total of $700 plus for dinner. The waitress then offered us a table for the show. We sat down ordered several bottles of wine and several (not very well crafted) cocktails. Spent another $400 in the bar. Then about 1 1/2 hours later, they told us that we had to give up our table as they had another reservation for our show cocktail table. They were insistent, called security and physically moved us. Now we have a bottle of wine and cocktails as they move us out of our table. We asked for management to discuss situation and they tell us now we have to leave the club. Terrible experience! Go to a place that respects their customers. Especially when you spend the amount of money we spent there. They don’t appreciate the business and are just too full of themselves for no reason. I have traveled extensively and eaten in many very fine restaurants. I have never been treated this poorly and disrespectfully in my life. As I said, way better places to go than this Untitled Restaurant, in Chicago that will appreciate you patronage.

Couldn't be ANY cooler! Your personal hip factor will increase just for visiting!

By Roger L |

We had dinner drinks here for our anniversary - the drinks were excellent and the food was even better! I asked them to prepare a special drink just fro my wife and me that was not on the menu - the bartender made a delicious bourbon based beverage! (thank you!) I think my favorite food was the mushroom fettuccine - amazing! The caesar salad also did not disappoint. This is an amazingly cool spot and I know a lot of people just go for drinks - but don't be afraid to stay awhile and eat some dinner too!

Great live entertainment and food

By LThomas1301 |

Dined in the live stage area with reservation. Had a table 2 rows from stage which was perfect not too close but close enough to enjoy. Food was very good. Black cod was moist, flavorful and unique. Burger tasty. Cookies big, chunky and delicious. Cocktails were also good. Celebrated a birthday and the band made it worthwhile. Since you’re in main area, it is difficult to see and hear due to low lighting and band but music was good. There are brief intermissions. Service was also good despite the dark room. Really an enjoyable experience for a first time visit.

Mixed experience

By TravelTalk2 |

We’re burlesque fans and have been to shows in several places. The performers at Unbridled were enthusiastic, some talented, some not so much. The MC was fun and we enjoyed the show. They could do better with the programming so it builds. It was kind of haphazard. Our waitress, Crystal, was great. The main detractor is the Loud music!!! The music between sets is just way too load. Can’t hold a conversation or hear yourself think. Bring earplugs and take them out for the show part. Yep, I’m old, but I still have my hearing in my 60s.

Ladies night out

By Jennifer A |

This place had different music in all the different rooms/sections. A fun place for Halloween weekend. Earlier in the night there’s a lot of couples and mature crowd. Then after 11pm it turns into a younger college crowd. The music was great... especially if you like a club vibe that’s not over the top. Clean bathrooms with attendant as well a plus!

Good food in an interesting setting

By Stephen W |

We had a very nice dinner in the club. It is decorated like a old-time supper club, with the dining rooms in the basement. The setting and staff were charming. Food was wonderful.

Super food and fun!!!

By DFitzP |

Having visited or college son in Chicago numerous times, we were looking for something a little different than our average dinner out. Well, we found it!! What a truly amazing evening!! Made reservations that morning and arrived a little early to this vibrant basement. Truly what you would expect of a Chicago speakeasy. Many different rooms, all with their own bars and packed with a rowdy-fun-loving crowd. We were seated and given the 101 course on how they work~ share small plates, large plates, drinks... everything comes out when prepared -not all together. Very loud (expected that) and amazing number of staff hustling around. Part way through our numerous plates a wall slid out of site and the band began. Absolutely fantastic singer accompanied by 7 talented musicians! We continued ordering... Foie Gras, Tenderloin Sliders, Crab Fritters... Then on to Tortellini and Beef Short Ribs (note to Chef- quite delicious but needed more liquid. It cooks for hours in it - add more to the plates, please. When paired with the amazing Potato Gratin, it needed a touch of gravy). As expected with such a diverse menu, the beverage list has something for every taste and budget. This is not a place for a quiet, candlelit dinner. But if you are seeking a fun, memorable evening, the Untitled Supper Club is the spot. Note: don’t leave during the bands first break ~ a true Speakeasy experience awaits (kids? cover their eyes)!!!

Hightlight of our trip

By RJD |

This place lives up to the reviews. We were very impressed with the atmosphere and drinks at the two bars. Turns into a dance floor at night and the place was happening - we would come back for sure!

Surprisingly delicious

By Fernanda N |

I book a table here for myself and a few work colleagues. I saw the reviews so thoughts it'd be good. To my surprise it was SOOOOO GOOD. We went on a Tuesday when they have the prix fix menu and that was a great deal. Food is delicious and well portioned. Good beer selection and an insane amount of whiskys. Service was a bit slow when we first arrived as I believe it was too early for dinner. They caught up quickly and we had a very pleasant night. The chef also came to greet us while service dessert. I'll definitely go back.

Does not accommodate groups. Rude customer service.

By Escape19520408257 |

Under no circumstance would I return here due to how rudely we were treated by Jill, a new member of their management team. This location was chosen for it's atmosphere and proximity to weekend wedding celebrations. We did a "pre" visit weeks prior to the wedding to inquire with their staff of the protocol should we want to come by for post rehearsal dinner cocktails. We chatted at length with a member of the management team and he indicated there is plenty of space and there would not be an issue for the group to come in for cocktails. On Friday November 01, the group began arriving right around 8:00 pm occupying a few seats at the bar and some tables in the immediate vicinity. The night did not go as planned as shortly after arriving, Jill pulled the bride from the bar area into the hostess stand area and rudely informed her that the group was not welcome at the bar and must relocate to an area across the hall where no server would be provided and guests would have to trek across the main entrance hall to order from the bar. We tried to calmly discuss the situation with Jill, informing her that we did not just stumble in but we had in fact spoken to another member of management weeks prior. After some lengthy discussion where Jill was quite rude and clearly did not care that we had done our due diligence, we relocated our group across the hall. After the rude treatment from Jill, I would have preferred not staying but the group leaving was a more undesirable option than relocating all the family and friends who joined us to celebrate the bride and groom.

Great Drinks, Good Food

By Todd C |

We went for dinner. We had a few different cocktails and they were all excellent and creative. Most of the food was really good with one bad dish (pork chop- lots of fat). It was a bit pricey.

Worst experience of my life

By JoseVPhoenix |

Life is way to short to be a patron of a place that... takes over a $1000 for your dinner (last night). Then sits you at a VIP table and then kick you out after two hours and accuses you of not spending any money. Then argues with you and every guest of your party. Then, when you ask for a general manage they refuse, but once he arrives... he calls security. Argues with your wife. Then security tries to provoke you. In all my personal and business travel, I and my guests never been treated so disrespectfully. They are a disgrace to this beautiful city of Chicago. Needless to say, I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again and would discourage anyone even remotely thinking about this place.

Great surprise

By Juancho D |

We were eating near by and decided to take a stroll - found ourselves between Mercadito and this place. The guys from the door made us feel great from the get go and we went in not knowing what to expect. The place is huge, diffrent ambiants and a main section where we listened to 90s and hip hop. I went for a classic whiskey sour and it was great, my 3 friends tried cocktails from the menu and did not like them at all.. too strong but hey ... did not try food and service was great - our waiter danced the night away

Great food and drink

By derica2013 |

Whiskey selection was amazing as depicted here. The food was even better. I had the Tuesday only Prix Fixe 3 course dinner. The crab fritters were amazing, melted in your mouth. The short rib was awesome as well. I finished it off with the apple tart and it too was great. Flavor profiles and textures were on point. The server was very helpful with whiskey selections and was very attentive.

Good, cool place to hang...

By AJMPKG |

Cool atmosphere which is excellent for all kinds of gatherings. Chef gets food combinations right with uncommon pairings that work well together. Bar and bar scene are excellent; If I we're local, thus world be a go to spot. A little pricy, but well worth it.

Should Visit At Least Once But Not Impressed!

By Ryan E |

My wife and I dined at Untitled on a Saturday night in July. The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is that of an old-fashioned speakeasy. We had the Octopus (small plate) and two large plates, the scallops and the salmon. All was delicious but the venue is pricey meaning the portions are small and the prices are high. There was live music and a burlesque show between sets which was interesting. Also, after the band played a DJ played a variety of music from various genres and decades with dancing from patrons of all different age ranges. We weren’t expecting the burlesque, but it was different. The band performing was Charlie Coffeen And Friends and they were fabulous! While our waitress was pleasant and professional, service seemed somewhat slow. We had a 9:00 PM reservation and I do recommend reservations and were seated promptly. However, after ordering, we received the small plate (octopus) relatively quickly but did not receive the large plates (the salmon and scallops) until 10:20 (an hour and 20 minutes after arriving but they did apologize for the delay. While the experience for me was satisfactory, I do have a few issues. First is that My wife and I were visiting Chicago from New Jersey and we wanted to make sure we were not turned away at the door. Untitled’s website clearly states, “Suggested dress for Untitled is business casual. We require proper attire. Please, no t-shirts, shorts, sandals or gym shoes.” We made sure that we had the proper attire, but the several patrons did wear sneakers and / or shorts. The other issue is that I am a man who carries a man bag, murse, man purse or whatever you want to call it. I keep personal property in it such as my wallet, smart phone, tablet, 3 check books, eyeglasses and other less important things. I was told that I would have to check it at coat check for security reasons. I said okay but “Does my wife have to check her purse?” and the response was “She can keep her purse?” So, my problem with the policy is that it is flawed. My wife’s purse is larger than my man bag and I want to make it clear that it is not a backpack. If I had to check my bag for security purposes and if I were truly a security risk and intelligent, what’s to stop me from handing the security threat to my wife and having her place it in her purse which was more equipped to hold something dangerous in the first place? If management at Untitled doesn’t want men to bring in bags, just say that otherwise the policy is flawed and should be reevaluated. I’m not a litigious person but someone who sees the double standard may take actions that may prove costly to Untitled. Overall, besides my initial reception and bag checking it was an acceptable experience. I probably will not visit again but if visiting Chicago, I think it’s worth at least one trip.

Good ambiance, good food though pricey and over overwhelming service staff

By rjatrix2018 |

This is a loud place, so it was the wrong place to go to dinner with friends you want to catch up with. The ambiance was good, so was the food though pricey, but the service staff was overwhelming. They kept interrupting conversations to make sure everything was OK at every moment. Not one, but an entourage of people. The restaurant was not that full so they must have been trying to stay bus. But, common sense an common courtesy says you at least say "excuse me" or "may I interrupt", not just barge in cutting off the conversations and your personal space--specially the hostess/"maitre de restaurant". If it weren't for that, it would have been a perfect night. The area with the live music was reserved so we couldn't stay, though they seemed to have tables opened.

Fantastic & varied show

By RussellERennie |

Fantastic & varied show Drinks, starter & dessert were excellent. My main course was a bit of a let down though. Would definitely go back though!

Simply incredible...

By MeanderingMike1 |

This place (speakeasy) has an exceptional atmosphere that is different in each dining area. Couple that with 500+ American whiskies, excellent food, and friendly, exceptionally attentive service...it makes for an incredible evening. We shared beet salad, charcuterie and cheeses, tortellini, Brussels sprouts and a great skirt steak between five and all were excellent (light dinner for all). What a great find. And reasonably priced for what you get....not inexpensive but won’t break the bank. Highly recommended!

Amazing whiskey and bourbon selection

By Rex S |

Attended a corporate function that rented the entire establishment. What significantly impressed me was the whiskey and bourbon selection. Really extensive which allowed for most tastes to be satisfied. Service was very good and attentive. Loved the layout with multiple smaller bars and locations off the main centre attraction. Food was off a set menu but was very good, fresh, tasty and well presented.

Odd Place, Good Food, Lousy Bartender

By Paul V |

4 stars is probably more accurate for the food. Its an odd room, but the food was very good as was our server. We tried to order a drink at the bar waiting for our table, and found the bar tender to be anything but pleasant. Gruff, rude and unprofessional. Must be related to the owner

Fantastic entertainment

By Antonio G |

LOoking for a speck easy in Cjucago, I found Untitled Supper Club listed among the top 10 in Chicago. Food was good, beers very good and the live entertainment fantastic. It's engaging and fascinating, both burlesque and music!!! A place to be.

Great Vibe, Friends Only

By bengiland |

Great music. 3 separate rooms to relax, dine, converse. Dim lights, leather couches, busy personnel in lounge areas. Dining rooms are a mix of millenials or baby boomers. Reservation a must! Great cocktails!

Best Service!

By Adana B |

So my family and I made a reservation for dinner at 9pm, but we didn’t arrive to Chicago until later. So I changed our reservation to 10pm not realizing that they don’t allow children after 10pm. The manager allowed us to stay and we are so happy we did! The live entertainment is worth paying an entrance fee. The food is amazing and we literally only waited 5 minutes from the time we ordered. The cost of food and drinks was unbelievable, due to the fact that I’ve spent more money at an Outback or Buca’s and this place was so much better! Thank you Untitled for creating an exceptional memory for my family!

Great music, great wait staff, great drinks with awesome selection.

By Jeanne F |

It was a lovely night - watching an old movie while waiting for the band was really fun. The band was awesome and the burlesque dancer was fun.

Brilliant Picasso

By oppyga |

Large Picasso Sculpture on cool office building plaza. The day we were there there were 8 -10 food trucks and a really cool cultural and travel exhibit about Croatia. Rather Picasso evokes a Lion Kingesque feel. A fun quick attraction

Best whiskey bar in Chicago

By JMOfTeamJJ2018 |

Untitled offers a few unique experiences. First, the Library section features a lounge-like atmosphere with classic movies playing on the large TVs as you walk in. To the left, you will see the feature that gives the Library its name: a wall of whiskies from around the world. The extensive whiskey menu & options for flights offers a great introduction into the world of rye, bourbon, scotch, and everything in-between. The music is on point, the bartenders are charismatic & knowledgeable, the cocktails are well done, and there are BAR HOOKS under the bar--a surprisingly rare feature in a city full of bars! They also host a variety of events here. The only one I've been to is Bourbonfest two years in a row, which always promises to be a good time. I hope one day to attend one of the music events led by a DJ. Despite being a supper club, I find the food to be its weakest point. The small bites are fine, but I can't remember a single thing I ate that blew me away. For first-timers, I recommend the Crispy Shishito & Cauliflower.

What a show!

What a show! We have lived this so much!! Especially with the live đŸŽŒ only disappointing they stop at 11:00Pm playing. But the Dj afterwards was also a good Energy burner. The food was delicious!

Downstairs swank and music

By Brian W |

I finally got to try Untitled but was here for sampling their whisky list. It is broken out into 3 rooms that branch out from the central area. The main center room has the live band. Dimly lit rooms, one of them have swanky leather chairs around tables. I did not try the food but from what I saw it all looked quite good. The whisky list at the bar was what I was after and they had a big selection of bourbons and american whisky. Their scotch list was decent but is not going to overly impress a scotch drinker. Ambience and activity was such as you would expect for a nice place in River North. Unusually high number of young folks though that clearly can't afford a regular scene at this place. Rest of the crowd would be as you expect of mid 30 and up professionals.

Used to be a great place - not so great anymore

By TZade |

Untitled used to be a throw back to a time of Speakeasy's - the music was inspired by the 30's and 40's and the burlesque show was exactly that, a burlesque show. I hadn't been to Untitled since before the pandemic and went back tonight. I was very disappointed. The music was advertised as blues, but it wasn't blues in the traditional sense. The burlesque was straight out strip club. It's changed and not for the better in my opinion. I'm 50+ so probably not the target audience, but I won't be going back, and it used to be one of my favorite places.
