We were staying at the Hampton Inn after a long and tiring flight with another long day of travel the next day. How nice to find this lovely little Italian restaurant in the middle of the strip mall across the street from the hotel. The windows were dark and it did not look open, but we opened the door to a very pleasant dining room with linen tablecloths and a wine room to one side. We ordered sides of broccoli rabe as our appetizers which was delicious, but a bit tough. The pasta primavera and the pasta cabrese that we ordered as our main dishes were very good - al dente pasta with well seasoned sauces. We also had two beers and two glasses of wine and the total bill including tip was under $90. The place seemed to be clean and the service was friendly. A great resource in this neighborhood.

Our concierge at the Hilton Miami Airport recommended this neighborhood restaurant - AMAZING! Great wine list! Had the fried calamari - so light and fresh! Bruschetta - delicious! I had a seafood pasta dish - mussels, clams, lobster, shrimp in a white wine garlic sauce over angel hair - devoured the entire dish!!! My husband had veal saltimbucco - devoured! Pollo de garlicello - chicken in red garlic wine sauce - plate empty!!! Would go here every week if I lived in the neighborhood!!!

This was walking distance from our hotel. We were the only customers on a saturday night. The lasagna was good and so was the Cesar salad. The bread/rolls were very crisp and warm but hard to eat. They were out of fried Mozzarella. We found it odd when we ordered a coke that they brought out a can? Also a glass with ice. Cant say I have ever seen that before? There was no pepper, just salt at all the tables. The staff was sitting around chatting and on cell phones. One even was charging his cell phone in the dining room. There were alot of food crumbs on the carpet. Seems the employees dont do much. They were all nice and service was average. Decor is very nice, could be great. Food is a bit on the pricey side for the location. Entire strip mall parking area is full of trash.

Very nicely decorated, great ambiance, wonderful service and I've eaten there several times and try to order something different every time. I've never been disappointed, the food is always perfect!

We were here for a night before flying out and it was fantastic. There is a nice wine list with very reasonable prices. The food was very good traditional Italian. I had the Ceaser salad and lasagna and my wife had the eggplant relate I. It was fresh and tasty. The service was very good and the ambiance was nice

We had a wonderful dinner. The service was excellent, and the food outstanding. We had the eggplant rollatini, veal marsala, and the chef's special chicken rollatini. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Bellacapri was recommend by the concierge at the Sofitel. A wide entrée selection and an excellent wine list made this one of the best meals we enjoyed all weekend. Excellent staff and cozy atmosphere completed the fine meal we enjoyed. Reservations not needed, but I would recommend them.

For a small, dark, Italian restaurant tucked away in the corner of a dated strip mall, the Italian fare was very good! The bruschetta bread was too crisp, but otherwise very tasty. The lasagna was excellent. The only problem was the awful service! Service was slow. Very slow. Otherwise, a nice place to eat Italian if you don't mind a strip mall.

The BELLACAPRI in Miami, FL is a quaint Italian restaurant. The restaurant has two rooms for dining..the wine room and the primary room. All tables have white linen tablecloths and water and wine glasses. They have lunch and dinner menus. The menu lists antipasti, soups, salads, pastas, seafood, chicken, veal, duck, vegetables and deserts. Wine selections are plentiful. This family owned restaurant serves homemade sauces, bread and all dinner selections. The restaurant has been serving Florida since 1990. The address of BELLACAPRI is 5749 NW 7th Street, Miami, FL 33126. Phone 305-266-1355. For more information go to: www.bellacaprirestaurant.net. Enjoy your meal!!

Business lunch brought me to 'Bellacapri' and I was very disappointed. The food was tasteless and poorly prepared. I had the "Veal Picata" and it consisted of two thin, extremely salty, tough pieces of veal swimming in cheap white wine lemon sauce. My guest had spaghetti and meat sauce and it tasted like some type of canned sauce with no flavor. I only picked this place because my guest was in the mood for Italian food and I was in the "Blue Lagoon" business area of Miami. I've had better Italian food delivered to my home by "Papa Johns". I am Italian and certainly know good from bad Italian food and it was BAD! Keep in mind the LUNCH specials are between $16.99 and $17.99, so you're paying top dollar for sub-standard food and POOR service.

Had minestrone (too much pepper but not bad) and veal Marsala (Marsala never been in there). Inside restaurant is nice, waiters too fast, friendly but don't follow you closely (got veal Marsala while was terminating minestrone)... I know, shouldn't go eat Italian being Italian myself... Anyway, text passed..

The restaurant is located in a strip mall near the Miami airport. The atmosphere is nice casual and comfortable. The service is very good. The food is very good traditional Italian. The Ceaser salad was good. The lasagna was very good and filling. The homemade red sauce is wonderful.

We were looking for a simple lunch option and were told that there is an Italian restaurant in this shopping area. The menu sounds good and gives you enough option to choose from. Pasta, salads, any kind of antipasti, meat, fish. You will find something. But let's start from the beginning. The restaurant looks a bit...run down. The letters on the doors are peeled of and the opening hours disappeared, so you better google it or just try your luck. Inside the small space has been used in a quiet good way, only thing, the walls have seen better days and when you go to the bathroom, you will see an interesting organized area...well, let's put it like that, with some clean up and a bit of love, this part of the restaurant would look much better. The tables are covered with white linen and the menus do look ok as well. The food we ordered came out in a timely manor. Before we received some "breakfast" rolls and broken pieces of butter. The bread was warm, which was a nice touch. The food was good and tasted nice. Nothing omg but also not blend or tasteless. Service was ok. So overall, looking at the bill, it wasn't cheap but also not expensive but for that money I have been eaten better and sat in a much nicer restaurant with much better atmosphere. So, if you look for something in this area, it's ok.

Like some other reviewers, we walked from our hotel on the front desk recommendation. Yes it is in a strip mall. The tables were nice. The wait staff was prompt and friendly. (We found the idea of a Spanish speaking waiter in an Italian place humorous.) The house Merlot and Chianti we good. The salads were fresh. We split a veal parm with a side of pasta with the house pink cream sauce (vodka cream sauce to me) It was wonderful. The portions were so large that we couldn't finish even though we only ordered one entree. The prices were on the level of a mid to high end place but they deliver that quality of food.

Enjoy good Italian food with friendly, efficient service. Lively business lunch crowd. Big bowls of pasta, tasty fried calamari - everything is done well!

Excellent Italian restaurant. We walked over from out airport hotel. Popular with locals. Waitress was attentive. Food was excellent. I had the chicken parmesan, while my hubby had lasagna. We were both pleased with our meals. Would definitely come back.

This is northern Italian done right. Delightful varied menu, really nice preparation on some very tough dishes. We had a large group and they managed well. Simple straightforward good food without silly embellishment. Veal dishes highly recommended. Wines reasonable and good.

About a year ago, I checked in late to a nearby hotel and didn't want to travel far and through a Tripadvisor search found this gem nearby. It's in a somewhat dated strip mall and from the outside, not only is it tough to find but with its dark tinted doors and windows it looks like storefront for an internet poker place. But once you enter the door, you are transported to a charming, romantic and well appointed interior with a nice windowed partition between tables and an endless wall of well stocked wine bins. On that visit I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and quite frankly, it was the best I ever had!!! Well, I should have written a review then but time just slipped away. However, here I am a year later back at the same place and ordered the same thing and it was just as great as I remembered. I will definitely be back...the only question is, will I have the willpower to order something different!!

I seem to be in a minority here . . . I also popped in pre-cruise and based on recommendations here on Tripadvisor had high expectations. We were seated immediately by a friendly lady and given menus. A little time later we were asked for our drinks order. We also asked for water. the two of us were sat at a table for four and a younger server removed 3 glasses and poured one glass for the 2 of us! The food order was prompt and was okay, my wife struggled with hers as it was very spicy. At no time were we offered any wine nor were we asked if we wanted more drinks despite running out. There appeared to be an air of disinterest and after a long haul flight I just wanted a quiet meal. The price would have been reasonable had the service and ambience matched previous reviews.

Great food and service. Walked over from the Blue Lagoon Hilton (1 mile). We had the chicken florentine, shrimp fradiavlo and the seafood pasta dish. Service was great, prices were reasonable and food was excellent.

Excellent meal. I had chicken rollatini and my husband had chicken parm. The pasta accompaniment were both very good with matching sauces to our dishes. We would return!

I dine here frequently when I'm passing through Miami. It is within easy walking distance of a number of hotels, like the Pullman for example. It's located in a strip mall but don't let the location put you off. The food is good, the portion sizes are generous, and the service is friendly and efficient. The Caesar salad is one of my favorites!

Exceptional Food and Service - the servers were so very attentive and kind. The salad was excellent, bread. I had the snapper with crab and my husband had spaghetti with fresh cheese. It was prompt hot and fresh

Visited the restaurant for my second time. The offer many pasta options, I've tried the Lasagna, the Tortellinis, The Eggplant parmegiana and some salads, everything was very good. I thing the restaurant is more focused for a business casual lunch than a family oriented people. Both of my visits were business. I believe they should come up with a lunch special menu, limit the portions and lower prices on that menu as their average price is $15 a $20 which I think is a little bit high for the location, restaurant enviroment and space. Again, very good food, I would go back again.

We dined here while staying at the nearby Hampton Inn near MIA. It is a storefront venue in a shopping center with a Publix and a Burlington Coat Factory and next to a nail salon. We enjoyed fresh salads and beautifully prepared recipes of local fish. Service was excellent and professional on a quiet night. Highly recommended especially if staying at a hotel by the airport.

We stumbled upon the restaurant on our way to the airport. Well...what an amazing place! Honestly one of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had! Which says a lot being an Italian girl from Jersey. The minestrone soup was the best ever. My husband had the shrimp scampi over linguini absolutely delicious. The staff was lovely. Kind and attentive. The prices were quite reasonable with large portions. Very happy we came across this gem.

Unexpected, charming gourmet Italian in a strip mall south of Miami airport. Extensive and creative menu dictates repeat visits. Tuesday is risotto night with a dozen imaginative combinations. White table cloths, intimate setting, excellent service, and unusual for Miami- parking is plentiful.

Thought we would give this a try. Small but nice, all the staff were very friendly and service was prompt. Our food was served in a timely matter. we ordered chicken Marcella, Chicken Parm, and chicken Alfredo. Everything was served hot, and flavors were great. It was nice to see staff working with similes and on leaving everyone said good bye. They get three thumbs up from us.

This little Italian restaurant is almost lost in the plaza where it is nestled between a nail shop and the DMV. We were immediately welcomed by a young man who showed us to a quiet table and took our drink order. The house Chianti was very nice. I ordered the Pollo Francese, which was the best I've ever had. It had a zesty lemon wine sauce which didn't leave you with a heavy butter taste. My husband ordered the clams with linguini and loved every bite. A light and tasty Tiramisu and a delightful cup of hot coffee topped off a wonderful meal.

We were staying at the Hampton Inn across the road from the strip mall. Found this restaurant on Saturday morning and decided to try it in the evening. We were not disappointed, the service and food were . excellent. My husband had lasagne and said it was one of the bet he has ever had. I had fish stuffed with crab, excellent. Would be our go to place if we were in the area again

What a great find! Food was phenomenal, service was fantastic. If I lived in town I’d come here all the time! The staff also did great with my 4 kids! Very respectful and accommodated them, always a good sign when they go out of the way for kids :)

This restaurant is over priced. $4.50 for an expresso also the quality of the food they don't even ask you what kind of pasta do you want they just bring you boiled penne with no sauce. Salad is not included and $25.00 for a piece of chicken. Never again bad experience for our first time. I don't mind paying as long as the food is good.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel, Hampton Inn, was just across the street in a strip mall which included a Grocery Store and Burlington Coat Factory. From the outside we were a little concerned but once we opened the door, great smells, nice atmosphere and friendly staff! The food was absolutely fantastic! We want to visit again for sure. My Mom had the Manicotti, my husband the Veal Parmigiana and I had the Linguine with Clams in white sauce.

Arriving at a restaurant in a strip mall our expectations were fairly low. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The servers were very pleasant and happy to give recommendations. The house wine was good and the food was excellent. Decent ambiance for the space. I would definitely recommend this place if you are staying at one of the airport hotels. Prices were decent as well.

Convenient location to the airport. Had the lasagna, some of the best that I have had in the states! Great food! Nice people!! Would love to go back!

Went to Bellacapri for two reasons (1) staying at the nearby Hilton and (2) read positive reviews. A short walk and we were there. Service was excellent and food was fantastic. Price very reasonable. Again, service exceptional and we finished dinner with their Tiramisu which I can easily say is the best I have ever had. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

We ate there pre cruise after reading all the trip advisor comments. We were the only ones there and given their full attention. Food arrived shortly after. My husband had the sausage and pasta. He ate the pasta but said the sausage tasted very old, not bad, but old. He didn't eat. I had minestrone soup which was ok. We were not impressed and will not be going back.

The service at this small Italian restaurant was outstanding. Although our meals were freshly prepared for us from delicious ingredients, the wait time was very short. The caesar salad was easily the best I've ever had and the ravioli was delicious. I have eaten authentic Italian food many times growing up in an Italian neighbourhood outside of Toronto (second largest Italian population next to Italy). This food is really top notch. Enjoy!

Located in strip mall, reasonable walk from Sofitel, Hamptons or Hilton hotels nearby. Colleague suggested this place and likes it. Very nice place, with nice white table cloths, greeted by owner, seated quickly, off to the side area. Service was good. I ordered the Pollo Parmigiana ($16.99) which was good. Had the Ricotta Cheese Cake for dessert ($7.50) which was better than okay. Quiet place at dinner (around 6:30 pm) on a Tuesday. There are not too many eating options in this specific area (Blue Lagoon), this may be the best option.

I stopped in for lunch and knew it was going to be good based on how busy they were. Food was excellent, prices were on the high side. Servers were attentive.

Small restaurant very convenient for casual business lunch. I'm big fan of fiocchi past; probable one of the best places to have them. I recommend the chicken parmigiana, risotto and spinach salad. Very friendly staff

It was average food for an Italian restaurant and expensive for the area. Go two doors down to Casa Juan resterant. They have great Cuban food at low prices and more food than we could eat. I can't rate them as tripadvisor does not have them. I had lobster in Creo sause for $18 one of the expensive things on the menu. I could not eat it all!

My sister and I had a delightful meal in this lovely little restaurant. It is a full service restaurant so the prices reflect the quality service. We had delicious gnocci and salad. It was homemade Italian at its best and we would eat here again in a heart beat. I am not sure why the previous reviewer said it was dirty. Hmmm. I work in a hospital and my sister and I are both rigid about cleanliness and I did not see any dirt at all. The building is older so it reflects its age but the place was clean. And the food was yummy and fresh!!

I had a Caesar salad, Veal Parmigiana, Penne pasta with spicy pink sauce and a glass of their house Pinot Noir. Everything was excellent! The Caesar dressing was light, perfect amount of garlic and not overly dressed. Two large pieces of veal scallopini with a very light breading, a little marinara and melted cheese was tender and just thinking about it makes me wish I had some right now! The Penne with spicey pink sauce was a good side. The sauce is actually a vodka cream sauce with a kick. It was good! Their house Pinot Noir was Lindeman's from Australia and was a nice accompaniment to my meal. Thanks Bellacapri by Anacapri, great job!

When by the Miami Airport area, I always stop and have lunch at Anacapri. The service is always excellent and the food is authentic Italian and delicious.

What a wonderful surprise to find this terrific restaurant in walking distance of the Miami Airport hotels. We enjoyed a nourishing meal after being out of the country. Nothing is more comforting than a plate of pasta. P.S. my former review is filed under Anacapri. I imagine many others wrote under that restaurant name.

The menu of items is unending! Everything is made to order and the homemade sauce is also fresh. Our dinners (pastas) both needed a bit more spicing, but they were quite pleasantly edible. Portions are very large, bread was excellent, calamari were very tasty, and the canolli was almost New York style! The restaurant itself is charming - we ate in the "wine room" - neat! Service was very prompt and good.

After reading the reviews on this place we decided to give it a shot.I can tell you we were not disappointed. The food and service was excellent and would not hesitate to go back on my next visit.

A short walk from the Hampton Inn. This is a small, quaint place. Servers were prompt and friendly. We enjoyed the lasagna and the rigatoni ala Marty. Both were DELICIOUS! And we enjoyed the leftovers just as much the next day.

My husband and I were anxious to try this restaurant across from our hotel. After a long vacation I had a delicious glass of Ruffino chianti and was able to relax in a cozy setting (in spite of the restaurant being in a mall, the inside is better than the outside). My husband had the lasagna and I had baked ziti and sautéed spinach. The main courses were very good but I was very disappointed with the sautéed spinach. Although it was a good sized portion, it was flavorless. Not what you expect in a good Italian restaurant. Because the other portions were very good I gave it four stars.

My son's meal was acceptable, but my eggplant parm was probably the worst I've ever had. Not every eggplant parm you get at a restaurant is perfect, but this was so soggy, I'm fairly certain it had been microwaved. Very unpleasant texture as a result. And I'd specifically asked the server if their eggplant parm was good and she assured me that it was. I guess she would have told me everything on the menu was good. Also, the doors from the restrooms are right across (3 feet) from the kitchen, with the ENTIRE waitstaff milling around in that small space. I have nothing against small restaurants in strip malls - I tried this one after reading reviews in TripAdvisor. But there must be better options in the area.

My wife is flying out of Miami Airport on Thursday, so she is staying in a nearby Hyatt House Hotel the night before. We read TripAdvisor before leaving home four hours away and decided to try Bellacapri by Anacapri. We are not disappointed. Located in a Publix strip center off 959 at 7th Street, the sign atop the restaurant merely says "Italian". Only the door has the full name. Arriving at 1:15 pm on a Wednesday without a reservation, we were lucky to get the only empty table. The place was packed and the air filled with animated conversations in several languages. Our waitress suggested the eggplant in response to my wife's question. I opted for lasagne. Both of us felt it was the best Italian food we have had outside of Italy - even better than New York City's Little Italy. . Nice house salads were included along with hot rolls and butter. My wife liked her eggplant so much, she asked the leftover to be wrapped up and ate it in the kitchen in her suite. None of the lasagne was left over. The house red wine was $6 a glass while the entrees were $12.95. The decor was warm, inviting and prettier than I expected for a lunch only restaurant (dinner on Saturday nights only). When my wife returns from her trip, we will return to Bellacapri with our son.

Have heard of Anacapri for years, was happy to find this is their sister restaurant. I didn't ask for a wine list, so I don't know if they have one, but the bottles are lined up by country, so it's easy to see the vintages, and they don't have to keep up with printing them. Started with the fried calamari, saw it on another diner's table while looking at wines. Perfectly cooked. Shared it with a stranger, who was also a single diner, otherwise I would've eaten it all myself. Went on to order some more apps, (this is a great place to do it) I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Beautiful food great service 5 star rating my lasagna was amazing cooked all from fresh will definitely return when visiting again

I ate here twice during the 5 weeks in the area. Good food and not a lot of $$$. They have very good meat sauce.

We read all the reviews on Trip Advisor and tried this because some folks raved about it. If walking, it is a little daunting to get to from the Hampton Inn only because you have to cross 6 lanes of traffic (3 each way & a median strip). Its location is in a less than average strip mall and the only way to identify it is the sign that says ITALIAN RESTAURANT, not Bellacapri (for that you have to get right up to the font door). We had really high hopes maybe too high. I had the Puttanesca which was crazy salty, to the point of almost inedible. So if you have a high tolerance or love for salt, this is your dish. I also had a side order of broccoli rabe (one of my fav veggies). Neither my knife or fork would cut it...could have used a steak knife- seasoning was fine, not drenched in oil, and serving was generous. My husband had the veal saltimbocca which came atop a HUGE amount of chopped spinach which he felt was chopped frozen. He loves spinach. The veal cutlets were pounded nice and thin and incredibly generous- he enjoyed them. We need to give this a second chance but until we do there is nothing special about this Italian restaurant. My glass of wine tasted funny and they very quickly gave me another choice...no questions asked and then checked back in on me. Service is very good.

The staff at the Hilton, Miami Airport told us about this place, and it was well worth it. We arrived a bit after 7 and were a little nervous because the place was empty. By the time we left, it was packed. The food was delicious and plentiful, and they have a great selection of wines. This is a great place to eat if you are in the neighborhood.

We visited the Bellacapri based upon the recommendation from the lady at the front desk of our hotel. The restaurant is in a strip mall with a nondescript front, so I didn't have high expectations. The food was terrific. The service was quick. This is authentic Italian food. It was such a surprise! Give it a try. You won't be sorry.

Small place, but great service. Food portions were really good. I had the lasagna, friends of mine had soup, salad, fettuccine alfredo with chicken, etc. We all passed them around. Entree's were about $16 average. Never had to ask for a refill of wine or water which was really nice. Would go back again.

Very nice interior but the music could b a bit quieter or less operatic bc after a while u want to shut it off Anyway, loved the rolls My husband had the meat lasagne which he said wasn't bad My ziti w cheese was really tasteless w very little cheese or sauce although it was a huge portion, Took 2/3 s home to redo. Prices are a few dollars too high on most items, Wouldn't go back

Located in the nondescript Air Park Plaza/strip mall, Bella Capri is a delightful Italian restaurant offering and extensive menu of expertly prepared dishes. We were looking for a simple dinner, and I was hoping we would find a good Cuban restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. Alas, after peeking in the windows and looking at the menus, the most attractive option was Bella Capri. The restaurant is small, and we were promptly seated in a room lined with wine shelves. The menu was extensive and mouth watering. I had the Linguini Malafemina (seafood and pasta) and my wife had the Snapper Marechiara. Both were delicious and were delightfully accompanied by a bottle of Italian white wine. I tried the cannoli, which approximated the definitive cannoli I had 40 years ago in New York City's Little Italy. The final tab was reasonable, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was delightful. Highly recommended!

Situated in a small outdoor shopping mall, about 15/20 mins walk away from the Hilton Miami where we were staying. We visited twice during the three nights we stayed in the area. Not too touristy, more of a locals place - but I suspect it does pick up business from the numerous airport hotels nearby. Décor was nothing special, but the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Menu was large with prices in line with the area. I didn't feel they were on the high side which others on here have commented on. portions were certainly on the large side. The restaurant would suit those looking for a nice meal in OK surroundings at a reasonable price. Ideal for those staying in hotels nearby.

Local to our hotel me and the wife went for an evening meal. Nicely decorated restaurant with a decent choice of dishes. The food we had was very nice however we thought it was very expensive for pasta dishes. Staff were efficient to the point that I did not ask for the bill, it was just brought to the table as soon as our dishes were cleared. Good job we did not want another bottle of beer.

Highly recommended, a private lounge with a specially designed menu, varied entrees and then main courses. We celebrated the birthday of our dear father in a private environment for 20 people, very comfortable and welcoming. The food was spectacular and the attention also. You have never tried those espectacular eggpant parmegiana and the delicious Fiocci (pear stuff pasta in white gorgonzola cream sauce)

So it seems lately I have been lucky to find some really great restaurants in odd unassuming locations. This week while working in the Miami Airport market, the desk staff at the Hyatt House- Miami Airport directed to me a little Italian restaurant in a small strip-mall a short easy walk from the hotel. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted quickly and become what feels like the sole focus of the small staff for the duration of you dining. They have a very nice selection of wine with a good focus on Italian reds and whites. The menu selections are right out of New York central casting...all classics from the "old school". I had the Veal Marsala which was tender and super flavorful with rich gravy and delightful fresh mushrooms. The canola was the typical "Brooklyn" shell with a nice sweet freshly made cream filling . Service by the two folks working the small dining room was excellent. Strongly Recommended!

Excellent service and good atmosphere for small strip mall place. The food I had was extremely average to bad. House salad was a dinky plate of overly oily mixed greens with just one mealy little slice of hot house tomato. The veal saltimbocca was so salty it was unpleasant, prosciutto is salty already but then add cheese and a very unremarkable sauce and the salt was overpowering. There was salt on the table but the one flaw of the server was to never offer any pepper fresh ground or otherwise.

So we are in Miami on a layover and we ask the Springhill Suites shuttle driver where's a close place to grab a quick meal...Viola! Bellacapri is a small storefront in a strip mall with taste as big as Italy! Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly and the food...Linguini alla Puttanesca and Capellini Primavera was so fresh and full of flavor. The only disappointment was they were out of Calamari, as it's fresh daily and we got there late. Also, the wine selections were over the top for choices. If your ever staying near MIA and have a layover, treat yourself to a dinner on Italy at Bellacapri by Anacapri!

located in a neighbourhood plaza across from our hotel. Not particularly appealing but we tossed a coin and chose this place over the other 3 restaurants in the plaza. I guess we lost. Veal Rolantine has tough like shoe leather. $7 for a glass of house wine was way out of line.

I was staying at the Hilton Hotel right down the street from this establishment and decided to go in for an early dinner. I am so glad I did! The linguine and clam sauce was fantastic! I will be back on my next trip to the area.

excellent northern Italian food. One of the best meals in Miami for lunch or dinner... pleasant surprise and a repeat for sure !

This is a small Argentinian-Italian restaurant in the area. It is truly a hidden gem. The pastas are fabulous especially one that it is like a small pasta dumpling filled with pear and ricotta I believe. That one is a must try, and especially good if you order it as appetizer and not as an entree and you share it with 2 to 4 people. Steaks are very good too. What amazes me about this place it is that it has a wonderful, great and extremely big selection of wines at affordable prices. A must place to eat quality food and drink extremely good wine, especially if you are a food & wine lover! Cheers! Freddy, the owner is quite a character and a gentleman. I am sure you will meet him as he is always seating people and is always eager to please his customers!

When we visited, the restaurant was ranked at 75 of over 3500 restaurants in Miami. We can't understand why this could possibly be. It was not actively BAD, but was distinctly average. The calamari were rubbery and dry. The bruschetta dry and bland. The carbonara was mediocre at best and the tortellini in "famous pink sauce" was more fuel than food. Overall, the restaurant is fine if you are staying within walking distance and are too tired to drive, but you are probably better off going to Burger King. At least you know what you are getting there.

This place is a hidden jewel. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Great for a date night or when you just want great food. We love this place and highly recommend it.

My husband found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and chose it because it was close to our hotel. It was quaint and lovely inside and we had the most delicious dinner. I had the eggplant parm, asked for extra cheese and they did great with that and mister had the veal parm. He said it was excellent and not over breaded. The salad was sufficient size with a house vinegrette, very good. Definitely a must try if you are in the area. We’re sorry we don’t live closer!

We were in Miami overnight and this restaurant was recommended by our shuttle driver. Within walking distance of the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon. So glad we took his recommendation. Everything was freshly made, hot and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely come again next time we're in Miami.

Albeit in the middle of a shopping precinct, the interior is carefully planned so that a tranquil space is created. The service could not have been better and the food is amongst the best I have had in a long time. The menu is extensive with so many amazing choices and after reading other reviews, I can see why this place is so highly recommended. Thank you so much to all the staff. Regards Pearl

Miami was an overnight stay for us in Feb. 2023; headed to Barbados for our Regents Caribbean cruise. We wanted a place close by the Hilton Blue Lagoon. Looked for an Italian restaurant and found this little gem. We were a little skeptical when the Lyft driver pulled into the strip mall. As soon as we entered (without a reservation), a beautiful young lady greeted us and seated us immediately in a side room that looked like the “who’s who” of a wine cellar collection. I looked over my left shoulder, on the shelf was a wine crate with the scene of the gorgeous vineyard in Italy of Castello de Banfi. I thought I had died and gone to wine heaven… Prior to the “lost years” from COVID; we had visited this exquisite vineyard and the scene on the crate took me there immediately. We ordered a bottle & my travel partner began negotiating with the Co-owner of this beautiful authentic family heirloom restaurant for the crate. I ordered the Veal Piccata & my partner order their special for the evening Veal con funghi …the meal was so authentic, the service impeccable…I cried most of the night from feeling so blessed having found this wonderful gem at a moments notice…my steps were divinely directed. The beautiful lady co-owner made us a deal & We left with a lifetime of memories to celebrated every time we look in our own cellar. Truly blessed to have met them & spent an emotionally memorable evening dining, experiencing the most wonderfully authentic Italian food right here in the U.S. Thank You!

Called in whilst stopping at the Hampton nearby. Place was pretty quiet for a Saturday night really. We were shown to the empty 'wine room' and felt quite isolated. Service was good and food was plentiful and okay. Price was acceptable. Would I re visit the Bellacapri... I think I would try elsewhere Would I recommend to friends and family.... as an option

Very good food, good service. We went on a Monday evening, not busy at all. Fast service. I had fettuccine Alfredo and hubby had chicken parmesan, both excellent, huge portions. Very impressed!

Located in a strip mall, this small Italian restaurant provided friendly service, good food and large portions. Great stop for dinner the night before a flight, when staying at the Hampton Blue Lagoon.

My wife and I went for dinner 04/15/2017. Arrived right when they opened at 5 pm. Quickly seated and waited on. Service very attentive. Due to a review on this site, we shared the chicken francese ($18.99) (the menu said there was a $3.50 sharing charge but we weren't charged this) and it comes with penne pasta with the francese sauce or a salad. We went with the penne and even though the menu said no substitutions, we asked for tomato sauce on the penne and they said no problem. We also ordered two side salads ($2.50 each). Hot rolls were served which we greatly enjoyed. The salads were a perfect size. One would not have been enough to share. The chicken francese was excellent. The butter and lemon sauce was just right and quite good. The penne pasta with the tomato sauce was great. The penne was properly served al dente. It was a very nice meal. This a very good restaurant. Not fancy but very good. As an aside, for us the portion was perfect to share. For others, it might be not enough to share. A prior review said the portions were "grossly large". Not true. More than enough for one for sure, but if I was real hungry, I would have wanted my own meal.

We were staying close to the airport for our early flight the next day and came about this restaurant in a very unassuming strip mall. The food was good, the service was perfect and the decaf expresso, & tiramisu were fantastic. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

As a close option to the Hampton Inn across the street, this restaurant was reliable and well-priced, but I found the food to just be average. The food did not contain much spice or flavor, and was light on sauce. Unlike what some other reviewers said, though, I did not find the restaurant to be dirty. Many of the pasta prices I saw were in the range of $13-$18, which seems pretty standard.

Small but elegant interior. Great service. Friendly staff. Spotless. Appetizers and entrees wonderful. Good wine recommendations. Dessert to die for. Positioned ion an aging strip mall, but don't be fooled. This was a great dining experience.

This is a gem of a restaurant, the food is delicious and homemade. The service is outstanding and prices are reasonable. A large portion of spaghetti and meat balls cost $17.99, a delicious portion of Lasagna was $14.00. Bread/rolls are served with dinner, salad is a small extra cost. It is a small, well decorated restaurant with a cozy intimate atmosphere. Don’t let the strip mall store front scare you off, this restaurant should be a gourmet restaurant! Excellent in every way!

This place surprised us, even though it is found at a rather unattractive mall, their food was better than expected. High quality service, the food was served swiftly, and there is little noise. An ideal place for work lunches, specially when you have little time.

Italian restaurant with delicious dishes. small restaurant friendly service and very tasty dishes. I had shrimp fettuccine and my husband had the mussels in the white wine sauce... my gosh... to die for! Yummy. We will be back when we visit again! This is a great place. Great food!

Found this by looking for “food near me”. New owners of Bella Capri with same staff. I love the simplicity of Italian cooking from Capri and this place was so close. I ordered a simple roasted tomatoes & onion with Rigatoni and my friend ordered tomatoes & basil with spaghetti. Topped off with a beautiful Montepulciano red. Finished early evening with a limoncello. Try this place for n a strip mall off the beaten path. You won’t be disappointed.

We were staying at the Hampton Inn before a cruise and found this restaurant in the strip mall across the street. It is worth seeking out this place. We started with small salads - crisp and fresh - and the house chianti which was very good. For dinner, he had the baked ziti and I had the eggplant parmigiana and we enjoyed both of them very much. The best eggplant parmigiana with thin slices and not heavily breaded. The sauce was great on both and there was plenty of each entrée. There was no room for dessert so he finished with a single espresso. We had very good service from Carolina and look forward to returning here in the future.

Their Risotto is delicious. Every time I go there their food is delicious and their have great service.

Delicious Italian meal. Service, portions, wine selection were excellent. Definitely will return! Do not let the strip mall location keep you away!!

Our hotel recommended this Italian restaurant which is located in a strip mall on NW 7th Street in Miami near to the airport. Very nice welcoming staff and nicely appointed. We ordered a Caesar salad to share; I ordered linguini puttanesca and my partner ordered the veal Marsala....a couple of glasses of Chianti followed by tiramisu and we were happy! Good food and nice atmosphere.

We've been here a few times and we enjoy the food. It has a nice calm quiet ambiance. Food is good. I had the tortellini alla bolognese and it was good. What we've like the most about this place is the quiet ambiance for a low key night.

Amazing food, I felt like I was in my Grandmothers kitchen. Homey, comforting, the wait staff was so gracious and welcoming. The wine list for a small restaurant was incredible. We were tired, travel weary, full day traveling from the West Coast , the meals we choose left us comforted, uplifted and just satisfied. If I ever find myself back in Miami, Bellacapri will be my first choice.....

In a mall across the street from the Hampton Blue Lagoon. Good Italian food, but huge quantities, so think about having just one course. Extensive wine list, including many Italian wines, BUT it is only a list and not all those listed may be available. No licence for hard liquor (i.e. spirits, such as grappa).

Had dinner here while staying at a nearby airport hotel, and were not disappointed. Food was high quality, portions were large, and prices were affordable. If you are traveling to or from Miami, a stop at Bellacapri will not disappoint.

I was wondering around late looking for somewhere to eat and came upon this restaurant. Right away the service was quick and very friendly. It was a bit loud with a private party going on with someone playing the violin but it soon grew on me and my daughter. Seafood salad to start then chicken breast in a mushroom pepper sauce, loved it. Really enjoyed my meal here. Highly recommended.

We were stayng at the Hampton Inn across the street..They suggested, this place, a chinese place and another. We chose italian and I am so glad we did..In a strip mall and like others said, wasnt expecting much...SURPRISE!!!! I ordered the puttanesca only because, I was someplace different and wanted to try something different..Do you want a twist on your spagnetti dinner? Try this..I had never heard of puttenesca. It having black olives, anchovies, garlic and capers...Love them all and loved the combination in the puttanesca. If you are not an anchovy lover, try it anyways. The hairy fish is all cooked in but the flavor in this recipe with them (and capers) is out of this world..Its a great atmophere there. I felt like i was sitting in the middle of filming The Godfather!!!!Also i ordered an italian beer called Dolce Vita..DELISH!!!!!

Don't be fooled by the location of this terrific restaurant. It's in a pretty average shopping center with a Publix grocery store and a few beauty supply shops. Who would ever expect such a quality dining experience here? We had made a note of it from previous reviews for our layover at the adjacent Miami airport. The desk clerk gave us directions for the five minute walk from our Hyatt House (or the Hampton across the street). Our party of four had consistently luscious and really generous dishes clearly made to order. Fresh ingredients and perfect execution of our veal and chicken choices. So reminiscent of dining in Italy with the perfect pasta sides. The menu is extensive and they have a charming wine room, too. Linen table cloths and profession, cordial staff impress further. Don't wait until you are stuck at the airport. Go enjoy Bellacapri.

I ordered raviolis, nothing special. Very good service and good infrastructure. Good variety of desserts, but I could eat any, but I think it should be worthy to try next time

We stumbled into this restaurant while staying at the Hampton Inn across the street. It not only had fabulous food (the best eggplant parmigiana I've ever eaten) but also a very comprehensive wine list. We're from near Napa, CA and were pleased to find smaller, lessor known high quality wines on the list (for example Jeff Rundquist). The service was impeccable and we were felt welcomed without a reservation. I will definitely stay at the Hampton Inn when flying into Miami just so I can eat here again. Highly recommend.....

This hidden treasure serves the best seafood risotto I've ever had. Great selection of wines. Wednesday there no cork fee for the wines you buy at their bodega. Must try!

The food here was practically inedible. The salt was overpowering. Just awful. No at all like Anacapri!

Outstanding local strip mall restaurant Perfect inside with a Italian vibe Food was 10+ capellini and shrimp fradiavolo were perfect Service excellent as well

We stopped here for a late dinner. It is in a strip mall near the hotel where we were staying - in the Blue Lagoon area near the airport. It is at the intersection of NW 7th & SW 57 Ave. The food we had was delicious. Great minestrone soup, calamari, bruschetta, and their house Merlot wine. All very good. Nice people too. We will def stop here again for dinner the next time we are staying near the MIA airport.

From the location and outside appearance, we would not have chosen this restaurant. Fortunately, our Canadian friends had dined here the night before, and encouraged us to accompany them again to enjoy the delicious and remarkable Italian specialties offered on their extensive menu! The clam soup was incredible, and was better than I could have dreamed of. The veal piccata had generous portions and was delicious. The red snapper stuffed with crabmeat was fresh and awesome. We highly recommend you try this, you will want to return.

Stayed at an airport hotel and ate here because of reviews and convenience - and WOW! What wonderful Italian food and service. Some of the best Italian food I’ve had in Florida! It’s tucked away in a little strip mall - well worth it to find it!

I was in Miami for 5 days of training. This restaurant was very close to my hotel. The quaint place was teeming with friendliness. Our server was Carolina and she and her staff were superb! The food was scrumptious and so good that we went back another night. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

We were staying at the Hyatt House Hotel which is only a few minutes walk away. Being on a different time zone still we were very hungry at lunchtime and found this place completely by accident. It was very busy, always a good sign, and we were lucky to get one of the two available tables. The menu choice was extensive, the service excellent and the food delicious...... exactly what you go to a restaurant for. Highly recommended, I would go out of my way to eat here again if in the vicinity of Miami airport. Only gripe would be a very well trodden and worn carpet which looks like it has been there since the 60s - something the management could easily rectify.

This restaurant is in a strip center near our airport hotel. Saw on tripadvisor that it had good reviews and it was outstanding. My husband had crab stuffed snapper which was so delectable. My chicken Florentine with garlic spinach was also delicious. Definitely worth the visit.

Pleasant environment, not too big, lots of room, and well decorated. But it is the food that ahouals be a draw. Rarely have we found an Italaian restaurant with more food choices, e.g 6 to 8 veal options, probably a dozen fish, etc. red sauce is neither too heavy nor toO sweet with 8 tO 10 different pastas.t

Not too many decent restaurants in this area which is a surprise given the large number of corporate offices nearby. Have had many lunches and the food has been great. Cozy little place which could use a revamp but as long as the food is good, don't change a thing. Service is always on the spot despite the lunch hour rush. Prices are reasonable. The strip mall that is in has some shady looking businesses but I guess that's part of the adventure. One complaint: parking is tough. There are many other businesses and the patrons going to Publix nearby take them all.

We have eaten here a couple times when staying at the Hilton or the Hampton Inn and have been very pleased both times. After traveling all day it was great to find an Italian restaurant nearby. My husband and I both had salad and pasta and had more than enough to eat. Friendly and quick service. We certainly will return the next time we are using the Miami airport.

Nearest restaurant to our overnight hotel. Fairly middle of the road Italian fare, served promptly. Not that cheap for a neighborhood place!

Every time I am in Miami, I eat lunch or dinner there, food is excellent and would rate it against any other Italian restaurant. The service is also excellent, I would highly recommend this to anyone while near the Miami airport.

After a long flight we wanted a dining experience and our hotel near the Miami Airport was breakfast only. Rather than eating pizza or delivered fast food in our room, we discovered Bellacapri Italian Restaurant tucked into a nearby shopping center. It is a sister restaurant to Anacapri Italian Restaurant. We ate in their wine room lined with at least 200 U-pick bottles of wine. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable and able to price whatever interested us. We selected a good red my husband had been wanting to try Our 15 year old grandson had a huge piece of lasagna which he loved and my husband and I both had thin slices of tender veal accompanied by a small serving of linguine. My Veal Saltimbocca with cheese and prosciutto was served over a bed of spinach and his Veal Marsala sauce was just right. They make their own tiramisu which was light and moist, perhaps among the best we’ve ever had. The only thing missing was a cup of decaf so we could linger longer but no complaints! It was a great meal.

Bellacrpri was recommend by the concierge at the Sofitel. A wide selection of foods and an excellent wine selection made this one of the best meals we had all weekend. A nice twist on a personal favorite, Tomato Caprese, was served with Prosciutto, an excellent addition. Reservations not required, but I would recommend them.

This place was interesting, my family and I stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street. First thing dishes average around $12. Service was OK, the water girl was language challenged and when asked the simplest questions had to refer to her manager to translate. This made things frustrating. With that being said: Let me tell you about the food, it is incredible, their cook rocks who ever they are. Our food came out hot and the portion sizes was very generous. The taste was excellent and that was worth the price. Check these guys out, their awesome.

Stayed in Miami before a cruise. Walked over to the restaurant from the hotel. Restaurant is in a strip mall but is tastefully decorated and has an inviting atmosphere. My wife had clams over linguine in a light red clam sauce. She got a generous amount of clams and said the dish was delicious. I had linguini carbonara. Excellent. Very creamy. Enjoyed every bite. Prices are reasonable and service was prompt and attentive.

First of all, the service is incredibly nice. second of all, the food here is the best Italian food you'll ever get. third of all, the owner of this restaurant is super friendly. I recommend this place!!!!!

Don't go there Simple Coke for 3 Bugs Served in the Can and so called italian Beer (wasnt European) for $4.50. We wanted to eat sth simple but $17 for simplest Pasta is way too expensive. We went then for fast food. BK and Wendys are close to this Location

O n a Friday night when most other places were packed, there were few tables full at Bellacapri. Having eaten at other Anna Capri and Sole, which share a family history, figured it was worth a try. Many of the same dishes, just a single circle less in quality. But if looking for a quiet dinner away from the busy places with good service, good wine, and fair italian food, with no wait, I'd recommend it. and save room for the Tiaramsu. Had snapper francese, tho tricolor salad, and shrimp scampi, all of which were fair, and worth the price. Note though that they only serve beer and wine.

This restaurant, tucked away in a strip mall, is solid Italian. The food is good, service friendly and efficient, and the portions are generous. I would gladly return. It's a great option if you're staying in an airport hotel. It is within walking distance of a number of hotels, including the Sofitel.

We both had lunch specials My wife had the salmon lunch special, and I had the chicken lunch special. Generous portions, excellent food, great waiters, great service! One of the better Italian restaurants I have been to and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Best Itailan ever
We were staying at Springhill Suites and they suggested Bellacapri, Anacapri -Italian Restaurant. So 8 of us went. and all 8 were HAPPY with their dinners. That does not happen very often. So the next night we took 12, beck to same place with same results. Everyone loved the plain spaghetti, $15.99 I loved the Pollo alla Marsala, $18.99, my wife loved the Lasagna such a great taste $$15.99 Just a steal, great price, great food, great service. Just a super 2 nights.
