This is the best veggie restaurant I've been through The service is so friendly and funny and the food is also awesome even the vegan dessert taste amazing . When you visit vegas visit the veggie house

This would be a fantastic dining experience for vegans, vegetarians, and anyone else. The service was quick and friendly and helpful. The food is so tasty that no meat eater would ever guess that they were eating a vegan meal. This is worth the drive to find for any vegan. The crispy beef was fantastic! So was the Mongolian beef. We actually liked the beef recipes better than the chicken entrées.

The General Taos Chicken was on the mark. Decent lunch portion and plenty of broccoli. Photo only shows a portion of the serving. Did not care for the smoked fish appetizer because it is a cold dish. This needs to mentioned on the menu.

Chef Kenny, you've got a great thing going on in Las Vegas with VegeWay and Veggie House. This was our fourth time at Veggie House and again, just fantastic. I'm not a vegan at all, I'll eat anything, but your crispy eggplant is addicting. Can't wait to come back.

As you enter this second-floor restaurant in a nondescript shopping center, you are warned not to bring in any meat or fish. The decor is simple and the open kitchen is small. But the food is interesting, with lots of choices. The restaurant uses soy-based meat substitutes for their "meat" dishes. I had a tofu dish that was strongly spiced and gave me some gastric upset shortly after. But the food was tasty and the service good.

As vegans, it can be challenging to find good food when we travel. The Veggie House was amazing, extensive menu of delicious vegetables and soy based meat alternatives. General Chow(spelling that incorrectly) chicken dish was yummy, and cajun shrimp awesome with your choice of spiciness from 1 to 10. A 4 was all we could handle. The short trip to Las Vegas Chinatown is worth the trip to the Veggie House!

We were looking for a vegetarian Chinese meal and we found this restaurant. The inside is a little dated, but the food was AMAZING!! Prices were fair, service was good, portions were large, and food was really delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Las Vegas.

Maybe it's the pandemic or something, but this was probably the worst Chinese food I have ever experienced. Everything was inedible (at least per my tastes). I like to cook and have eaten Chinese from Indiana to Taiwan. I've had authentic dishes is San Francisco. One of my favorites is a Hunan place in San Jose. This made me want to retch and I've eaten at McDonald's (though not for years). Please, sample it first. I'm sorry to say this to hard-working people who got the order right and delivered it promptly. This was a delivery order not dine-in!

I was so astounded by the selection...tried the appetizers and lunch.. smoked "fish", seaweed salad, & wontons served on a bed of spinach and cabbage. meals we chose were orange chicken ( unfortunately it came with no vegetables) and a curry. the waiter suggested their mixed brown rice, which was so good. would eat there every day if I lived in Vegas! Very friendly staff too. All vegan menu.

Enjoyed trying/sharing new Vegan dinners. Tried the vegan shrimp, vegan sweet and sour chicken and soup. All very good!

The food here is delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan Chinese restaurant in Vegas. The restaurant is upstairs next to a bikini bubble tea. The restaurant is very quiet and akward, I feel like I could hear everyone chewing. I took my food to go because it was so akward in there. I will definitely return for take out.

The food here is outstanding! I am vegan but my husband is not and he loves it just as much as I do. We have dinned here prior to moving to the Las Vegas area and after moving still enjoy coming here. We have not had one bad meal yet. Our must have every visit is the spicy eggplant! Must try!! The owner/Chef Kenny is so friendly making a point to go around to the tables and talk to customers. We love the food and service here. Highly recommend!

Excellent chinese vegetarian restaurant offering various items that look and taste like meat or fish but made of vegetarian ingredients. Service is fast and prices very reasonable. Lunch specials are a bargain. I have tried tamarind fish and general tso chicken and both were excellent. Highly recommended.

We ate here about 4 times during our stay. The food is so good, the staff is very friendly. There were a lot of items on the menu to choose from. The restaurant itself is a little hidden because it's upstairs in a strip mall and a set a little back. It gives the restaurant more privacy and makes it a hidden gem.

Let me put this very simply: If you don't like Veggie House you are probably the type of person who would boo Santa Claus and throw eggs at the Easter Bunny. Honestly, even if you are not a vegitarian you will most definately find something you like at Veggie House. I'm not a big fan of eggplant but this place make it absolutely fantastic. Furthermore, the people who run this place, from the waitress to the chef who came out to greet us, are so very nice. We've now been there twice and it is a slam dunk we'll be going there every time we visit Las Vegas. It's that good!

The crispy eggplant is amazing as advertised. But everything else was amazing too. Well with the visit!!

My first time sealed my second visit already. I ordered the kung Pao and it was fantastic along with the brown rice and appetizers. All was great and service was terrific.

Great food great service! Cute little set up, very local spot. i live down the street and do take out all the time! Cool stuff around the plaza it's in too. All vegetarian, but it's just like the real deal (or as close to it as possible!) I don't know how they do it! Awesome spot.

Pleasant surprise, although afterwards we realize it was rated highly on TripAdvisor. My wife and I shared lunch we had curry vegetables with t a m a r i a n d sauce and beef with broccoli. Both were very tasty I've never had a t a m a r i a n d sauce that I know of neither of them were very spicy but that's the way we want them you can order more spice I guess.

My gf is vegetarian, I am not. We decided to try this place out because there is nothing like it where we live. We had a great experience, it is located in china-town so its perfect for stopping by to eat for lunch after exploring that part of the city. Food was great, the chef walked out a bit after we had sat down and gave us this delicious "taco" lol thats as best as I can describe it. I believe it was roti with "bbq". Anyway it started and ended as a great service. We decided to go because of a Groupon savings offer and let me just say we tried a lot of different foods! We had plenty of left overs for dinner back at the hotel, the servings are big so definitely worth it, great flavors! A must for vegan and no vegan lovers.

Visited this restaurant last week during a vacation in Las Vegas. It's true that everything is vegan, but the food was very high in salt and sugar and did not taste healthy at all. The restaurant is a $20 taxi fare away from the strip, in a not to friendly area. It was wasn't expensive and the service was ok, but it's not what I would call healthy vegan/vegetarian food.

This is great because it's off the Strip, so not crowded, and it's all vegan. There's even a sign on the door saying NO MEAT OR FISH ALLOWED INSIDE. Love that. I am able to order anything on the menu and get Chinese food that's all-vegan and tasty too!

This place serves unbelievably delicious food. We are not Vegans but we love Asian food and over the years, we have eaten at hundreds of Asian restaurants. We went there the first night out of curiosity- China Town in Vegas? Really ? We went there the second night because we couldn't stop thinking about how delicious our meal was. Honestly, it doesn't matter what you order. It was all so fresh and so packed with flavor. This was hands down the best Asian food we have ever eaten. Oh, and did I mention the prices are crazy cheap? We would happily have paid twice for the quality meals we were served. Don't miss this place if you are in Vegas.

1st time lunch with a group of food tasters. Find the place, service and food are outstanding and price is reasonable. It is different than other veggie restaurants. Either you are vegan or not should try. No MSG per owner. Food are well presented especially Walnut shrimp tastes better than real shrimp. Will go back again.

All vegan, reasonably priced, nice atmosphere, large portions. A very nice experience for vegetarians.

My husband & I went there for the first time to try out the food. I wished I had a bigger stomach so I could try every single dish. We had tamarind curry & crispy cajun 'shrimp'. Man...we almost emptied out the bowls ( very generous portion ). When we go back to Vegas, we'll absolutely go back to this restaurant. Chef Kenny is a very friendly guy & so is the server. Highly recommended, even for a non vegetarian, you hardly can tell it's vegetarian food.

Found this place by accident and how lucky were we! Best luxurious vegan food ever! Being from Australia we are use to small dishes of mock meats so over ordered. Plates are very generous sizes, food was crispy and tasty and staff were super friendly. You won't be disappointed. What a little gem!

The chef here is a master at cooking. If you prefer Vegan food, you will be delighted with your meal. If you prefer meat (and I usually do). you won't even realize that it is not in the dishes. Excellent texture. Excellent sauces. Excellent service. This was my second visit....and how I wish they had a branch closer to my home. I will certainly make this my first meal stop when I next visit Las Vegas.

The food is really good and healthy as well. Quality of the ingredients is also very good and the staff is extremely friendly.

I could hardly believe these meals were Vegan. They were delicious and satisfying. The Chief even came out to chat with us ! May I suggest you eat there , instead of take out . That way you can enjoy hot, crispy , and fresh out of the kitchen, particularly for fried items. The orange chicken , chow mein, and Szechuan scallops are simply amazing. 😋

Family took us here while we were visiting them in Vegas knowing that we would appreciate a vegan restaurant. Wow, did we ever! They eat here regularly even though they're not vegan. All agree that you would never know you're not eating meat.

All the previous reviews were right, this off the strip restaurant is a winning option. You will find nothing but lots of varieties of vegetarian Chinese dishes. Prices are reasonable and everything is enough to share (same as other Chinese restaurants). I travel to Vegas often, and this place is a relief of all the meat oriented restaurants at the Strips which are mainly pretentious.

My boss and I were take here by our hotel owner while attending the Choice Hotels convention in Las Vegas. I had never eaten this type of food before and was nervous. I was delighted to find out that the food was absolutely great! We tried 5 or 6 different dishes and they were great. The service was also great. I definitely recommend checking this place out because you will be pleasantly surprised.

My GF is a dirty, dirty vegetarian and our options for mutually-assured good eats are always slim. This place was fantastic! We got two classic dishes with fake chicken and beef and both were outstanding. I would defy someone to say, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that these were not actually meat based....I sat in stunned silence for the first few minutes being honestly concerned that my gf's 11 years as a veggie were over and that I was responsible (I found the place)! Nope- just a really, really (really) good fake. The flavors and sides are all solid and above average, but nothing out of this world. I would also highly recommend simply driving to the location from the strip as most people don't realize that there is a dense and amazing pan-Asian area along Spring Mountain Road. No booze.

Plant based eaters know how hard it is to find dedicated plant based venues. And many plant based venues focus on deep fried garbage food. Veggie House stands out because while it has many meat alternatives, it does have actual vegetables too. Also, it focuses on Asian dishes, which are much more compatible with plant based ingredients than some other cuisines. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Vegas.

I confess there are times when I have been to this restaurant three times on a three day visit. Then, I might even get takeout for the ride home. We are working our way through the menu, and there is nothing we have tried that we didn't like. I always seem to get some chow fun noodles, and we always get some kind of crispy chicken. Chef Kenny is a genius when it comes to delicious vegan food.

We ate dinner at Veggie House one night while on vacation. We loved our food. We ordered some lettuce wraps for an appetizer. I ordered General Tso's Chicken. My wife and I both loved all of our food. It was delicious. The staff was excellent and so friendly. They made a lot of excellent recommendations while we were trying to decide what to order. I wish that we had had more time to come back to try out more things on their menu. We would definitely eat here again.

...can be done to properly review this place. If you're interested just go. This is one of those places you have to just go to and experience for yourself. Amazing staff and chef kenny is on point. We've visited here multiple times and multiple times per trip to las vegas and have yet to be disappointed and never feel like we will be. JUST GO!

Well to start I like meat. I was in town with a friend that doesn't eat meat and we asked around and was told to try Veggie house in China town. So being the nice guy I am, I took her there. The dish she had was a chicken dish and mine was beef n broccoli both were tasty and I'll tell you I couldn't tell that it wasn't meat. Not ready to give up steak but give this place a try if you or someone your with doesn't do the meat thing LOL.

Any place to eat that is on a vegetarian path, and offers vegetarian food, is good. I am not a food critic, and I am not a critic, just an observer of life, and death. I choose life

We came here for lunch and the food was okay. The service seemed a bit slow but we weren't in a hurry. We have eaten here before and thought the food was decent. The food was tasty but I thought it was a bit on the salty side and sauces seemed too glutenous (thick in texture). We found a different vegetarian restaurant that we like better in the outskirts of "Chinatown".

My daughter and son-in-law took us out for dinner after a brief visit to the Red Rock Canyon. So very often when vegetarians eat out it means a compromise, negotiating changes to meat based dishes or the fallback of pasta and sauce. Not in this gem of a place. We had to make hard choices about what we would finally choose and left with boxes of leftovers for our hotel room snacks. Great food, tasty and inviting presentations lifted our spirits. A small scoop of 'ice cream' settled our full bellies and cleansed our palates at the end of the meak, We loved our choices but all the food at other tables looked good and wait staff will happily tell you what the favourites on the menu are, The interior is peaceful with a pleasant trickle of rain water running from a bamboo covered veranda at the side of the dining area making it such a serene get away from the harsh lights and sounds of the hotels and restaurants on the strip. It was by far the best meal we had in Vegas.

If you didn't know better you would swear it was meat. Everything was Delicious, will definitely be back next time I am in Las Vegas.

I went here with friends. The wait staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food was delicious. I got veggie sesame chicken, and it was very good. My friend got veggie "Cajun" fish. I tried a bite of his and wished I had ordered it. If I ever go to Veggie House again, I know what I am ordering. Portion sizes were big. I ate too much and still had veggie chicken chunks to take home. Those leftovers made a good meal for me the next day. Three out of four of the people in my party had food to take home. I would love to eat here again and explore the menu.

I met Chef Kenny- to try out his restraunt: All the wonderful standards of Chinese Cusine are served here, while strictly vegan. The taste and textures are authentic! Staff was warm and welcoming. Hope he opens up more heart healthy spots!

Everything was extremely fresh! Crispy eggplant was amazing!! Chef Kenny is an artist and genius with a veggie menu. I'm not even a vegetarian and I would be back in a heartbeat! Yummy, yum, yum.

I am a vegan who visited this restaurant with 3 meat eaters. I had never been here before (on holiday) so I was worried what my friends would think as they very much enjoy their animal products. Especially since one of our party is not a fan of Asian cuisine either. Throughout the meal all I could hear was "wow" and "this is so good" from every one of them (including myself). The best part (aside from the awesome food), was the one who is not a fan of Asian food informing us that we have to come back before we head home. This was by far the best vegan food I've ever had. Fantastic flavors and textures. All fresh. The staff is incredibly polite and knowledgeable about all the food. And the desserts were absolutely fantastic as well. Can't wait to go back!

This is the farthest my husband and I ventured from the Strip- definitely requires a taxi- but I am glad we did! The food was delicious and the portions were huge!! My only regret was that we didn't have a mini fridge in our hotel room for the leftovers, which would've served perfectly for a second meal. The prices were great and for the portions, a steal! Table next to us ordered a good 4-5 items for 3 people and they kept raving over how much food there was & how they were going to eat it all. I can't review for them but it's a testament that we weren't the only ones in the place that took notice of how generous the food was. There is also a great selection on the menu. I ordered the house crunchy noodles and veggies, and the veggies (with "shrimp!") were not drenched in oil & there was enough crunchy noodles for probably 4 people. It looked like I didn't even make a dent in them! I think I'd have preferred the chow me in or lo main noodles but only because I wasn't as familiar with crunchy noodles (tried something new) & didn't find them too flavorful- though they were good with the vegetables. It isn't a fancy place but it did have a gorgeous Buddha (jade??) I was admiring from a couple tables away while eating and the server did stop by a few times to give us refills and check that everything was tasting good. If you use Groupon (how we discovered the place), it's valid for dinner and make sure to tip on the full value of the check! They absolutely enjoyed seeing people discover the place via Groupon too. (My photo is from halfway into the meal)

After our first evening in the buffet restaurant of our hotel on the Strip, we decided to no longer have overpaid, low-grade meals. So after some searching on TA, we ended up at Veggie House. It's a little bit away from the Strip, but worth every mile! We shared a Miso soup as starter, and had veggie duck pineapple and king phoa chicken, shrimp and beef. All were based on soy based meat replacers. Now, I'm not at all a fan of replacers, but what we got served at Veggie House was beyond imagination. The texture was almost as real meat and seafood (actually, with the chicken and beef you would have fooled any meat eater) and the taste was just amazing. You get big portions, but as there is no real meat, you don't feel too full at the end. We finished off with a delicious ice cream. The bill was 41 dollar for two persons (tip excluded). We are here for two more nights and are thinking of visiting again. Highly recommended for those wanting a nice meal for a reasonable price, vegetarian or not.

This is one of the best vegetarian Chinese restaurant that I have been to & trust me, I have tried a lot of these restaurants within North America. Chef Kenny puts a lot of thoughts into the preparation of food & the food is very healthy & tasty. Considering Vegas is a meat eating city, this is certainly a gem for vegetarians & non-vegetarians alike. Definitely worth the short drive!

I cannot believe that a vegetarian food can be so good. my family love it as well. The owner and the staff are so friendly and nice

This is our favorite restaurant for vegan/vegetarian food in Las Vegas. Everything is meat free and extremely tasty. Some of our favorites are the crispy beef, lemon chicken, braised tofu, and house pan fried noodles. The service at this restaurant is always excellent and food is delivered promptly. We are happy to return over and over again.

First time here and what a variety. Lunch was fresh and very tasty. A must to go to and will go back.

It’s always a treat when we find a vegetarian/vegan restaurant that has a full menu of delicious options. We tried several things: appetizer sampler, orange chicken, crispy eggplant, crispy beef, mushroom & chicken, house fried rice & a couple others. Our waitress was “tickled” by all we ordered & pushed another table over to accommodate. One of the chefs even came out to talk to us. We enjoyed 95% of what we ordered. Since none of us have ever eaten seafood, we passed on the vegan “shrimp” that were part of the fried rice (looked too real). The decor is dated & the water feature really should be removed (we were seated right next to it and it wasn’t very appetizing). This restaurant is located on the second floor of a strip mall (not sure if there was elevator access anywhere). This is definitely a must for any vegetarian visiting Las Vegas.

Big dinner, orange chicken is amazing, sweet and sour chicken was outstanding, vegetable chow Marin was super, pad Thai really TommyJr, spring rolls, lettuce wraps and won tons all great! Highly recommend this place!!

First, I have to disclose I am not a vegetarian anymore. On a recent visit to Las Vegas I took my brother to eat here based on the Trip Advisor's ranking and we were not disappointed. My brother was extremely impressed with how extensive the menu is and I was impressed with how carefully each item is prepared and how much attention to taste is given. I could not give it a five stars rating because one of the waiters does not speak English very well and brought a different appetizer than was ordered. Also, although there is a pretty extensive dessert menu all they had were the two kinds if ice cream to offer. If it were available on this site, I would give it four and a half stars. That said, I would highly recommend this restaurant to any vegetarians and tell their companion diners to enjoy the tastes and don't be afraid to explore.

Although not a vegetarian, I love to eat vegetables when eating out. My husband kept making excuses to try this place. Finally convinced him and what a great experience. First the staff made the menu easy to understand and explained the choices. The food came quickly and piping hot with good sized portions. The "chicken" and "beef" were flavorful and if no one had told you, you would not have known. Happily for me, we'll be back

Our favorite place to eat near home. Why? Tastes great and good for you too. I have tried almost the entire menu. Everything is good. So try anything. You would not know its vegetarian unless you ask.

As a vegetarian, it was so wonderful to find this restaurant. I was able to eat wonton soup for the first time in years! It was delicious along with the fried dumplings. Was able to grab a Lyft and be there in 15-20 minutes from downtown. I visit Vegas every year and this restaurant will now be an annual stop for me. Great food, good variety, and friendly service.

We found this restaurant by chance, on Google. We chose it because it had great reviews. When we arrived there, we were greeted almost immediately by a waiter, who seated us. We were given menus, one of them outlining the most popular dishes. The restaurant was small and modestly decorated, but pleasant and clean. The waiters/waitresses were wonderful and brought us everything we needed. Now for the food: ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! One of the best vegetarian/vegan restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. If you want an absolute vegetarian/vegan delight, try this restaurant. We’ll be back when we return to Vegas.

What a delightful surprise! Food was good, I had Crispy Eggplant, and I asked that it not be spicy, and it wasn't. Served with soup (way oversalted) and requested brown rice. However, I was surprised that there were no veggies. My husband got General Tso's Tofu, and asked for broccoli and he wasn't charged. Service was courteous but could have been a bit more attentive.

We were heading to another restaurant in the plaza but they were closed, so we asked a passersby who had just bought some lunch and he suggested Veggie House. It serves everything vegetables.. no meats or seafood we were a little hesitate at first since we're meat lovers. Oh boy were we wrong the food was very good we will be back. The decor was simple nothing special but if you want good food, it's a place to visit.

Veggie House was amazing!! Came in with a few girlfriends and was amazed by the service and incredible food, especially the spicy eggplant. I tell all my friends and coworkers who are vegan, vegetarian or wanting to try something new!

Look...I was dragged to this place on my first visit, by vegan family members who raved about Chef Kenny & his fantastic vegan & vegetarian menu. Whatever. I like meat & don't plan to give it up any time soon, so my eyes were probably rolling when I saw Sweet & Sour "Chicken" on the menu. Come on. Who are you kidding? Faux meat is not meat. Save it for the vegans. But I have to admit that as the 5-6 we ordered dishes came to the table, each one was actually quite tasty. Even the faux chicken was surprisingly delightful!! Pretty soon I found myself recommending this place for dinner with some of my vegan & vegetarian friends. I even found I had favorite dishes that kept me wanting to visit again. And today, here I sit...ALONE. After looking at several menus in the plaza where Veggie House is located, I had to admit that none of them sounded as appealing as the Crispy Eggplant I have come to crave at this place. And to my delight, the Crispy Eggplant lunch special (L6) comes with soup & brown rice all for $7.95!! What a steal! Call me a convert. This carnivore can't resist the awesomeness that is Veggie House!!

I don't know how they do it. If this food was available nationwide there would be a lot more vegetarians or vegans

This place was in "Chinatown" in Las Vegas (apparently Chinatown is a series of strip malls in Vegas, which sounds about right). It's on the 2nd floor of a very unassuming set of buildings...certainly doesn't feel like you are entering a casino. Once inside though, the staff was very attentive and friendly. The mock meat I had there ranks up with some of the best stuff I have had and all of the restaurants I've been to in Philly. The prices are pretty standard. Nice eclectic mix of patrons. Nothing to blow you away about the place, it's just really good food, good service, and good energy in the place.

Chef Kenny makes the best kung pao chicken I ever had, veggie or not! The roasted peppers in the dish are fantastic as well. In addition of the fantastic taste, the lunch option is a great value.

My daughter is vegan and it’s always challenging finding suitable places to eat when travelling. I saw a groupon for this restaurant and purchased one to try the Veggie House when we visited Vegas last week. The location is quite close to the strip (10 minute drive) and there’s lots of free parking in the plaza. The food is very good and they have all types of “meat” made of soybeans, tofu and other vegan acceptable ingredients. The vegetables are fresh and properly cooked. Of the dishes we tried, our favourites were the orange beef and lettuce wrap. The option of white or brown rice is a nice touch and the weekday lunch specials are a good value. We enjoyed our visit (very friendly service) so much we returned several days later for another meal.

Great close to strip for Vegi meals. Great people who work here, enjoyed the setup. only issue was finding a parking during lunch hour

Just incredible! We tried as much as we could eat and was not disappointed by anything. The faux shrimp stands out in my mind,it look real, texture was perfect and tasted so,so good. Chef Kenny even came out to talk with us! When I go back to Vegas,I'm going to eat here 50% of my meals. If it was right on the strip,I would be there everyday.

I had read lots of good reviews so ordered dinner for delivery tonight. $52 including a tip. The egg rolls had a fishy type smell and taste, couldn't eat them. The house special fried rice, cold and strange tasting to be kind. Eggplant dish un-eatable. The honey walnut shrimp probably would have tasted pretty good hot. First and last time for me.

I never tried pure vegetable food. While my colleages recommended me this one, I love it. Even it looks lik emeat, it does not taste like at all. We will come back again for sure.

This restaurant has an amazing array of vegan culinary brilliance! The beef and chicken tastes like the real thing and most importantly the food tastes great. The lunch prices are practically free and the quality is outstanding. The service is also very good. I highly recommend this place.

Not far from the Strip at all. Great foods, reasonable price. Customer service is very friendly. Strongly recommended.

I had a wonderful spinach salad and wonton soup. Lots of food, couldn’t finish it all. Hubby had General chicken. The sauce was amazing.

This was the best dining experience I have ever had! We came here in search of a vegan, dog friendly restaurant. Online we read they had an outside area that welcomed dogs (not on a site run by them) however when we arrived there there was only one stone picnic table I’m not sure even belonged to them. They allowed us to eat outside there, with our dog with no hesitation and served us from that table. They were very nice and accommodated our every need before we even knew we needed it. They even brought out a bowl of water for my dog! On top of all this the food was amazing. My boyfriend, who is knewly vegetarian, said that the “meat” was so similar to the real thing and in some cases better!

Few restaurants are creating remarkable, new food ideas, but the Chef at veggie house is a pioneer of asian vegan cuisine. Omnivores and vegans alike will enjoy the creative food served here. It was was so good, my wife and I went twice when in vegas for 4 days. It may be a little hard to find, but it's in the strip mall's second floor, in the corner, right next to Moon Spa Massage. The decor is tasteful, simple, and what you would expect from a strip mall asian restaurant (4/5). Our server was very knowledgable and passionate about the food, and helped us chooses from the large, impressive menu (5/5). On the first day, we had the spring rolls (5/5), ramen noodle bowl (5/5), and crispy spicey "beef" (5/5). I can't reccomend the "beef" dish highly enough. The imitation meat is made in-house and was perfectly crispy, savoury, and satisfying. The Ramen had a few pieces of ham-like meat that would fool a meat-eater. We paired this meal with delocious coconut water. On the second day we had the Sweet and Sour "Chicken" (5/5) and the "Shrimp" (4.5/5). The chicken was so tasty, and a close second to the beef from the previous day. The shrimp was very real tasting, and while good, not quite as flavorful as the other dishes we had. I can't reccomend this place enough: you don't often get chances to see such fresh, masterful new ideas.

Try all the “meats” you can! It looks like the real thing but is all vegetarian. Recommended by a friend we found this in a strip mall like place off the main road and a groupon for it. Veggie House is kind of a whole in the wall place with disgusting bathrooms but the food and service amazing! We were to full to try the vegan desserts but they looked very appetizing as well. If you get tired of buffets and want something different you won’t be disappointed. Tip: skip the tofu menu items, go for the “chicken” or “beef”. You won’t be disappointed

This restaurant really is amazing. Try the cilantro salad, it is my favorite. The only downfall is that I am not supposed to eat much soy,and there are few options without it. The lotus root was ok, but I will not get it again. My husband loves the orange chicken. Staff was very friendly, but the wait was pretty long because they don't have many table options for parties of two. We used a groupon so it was extra affordable!

It has been about a year that we tried Veggie House we liked it the first visit. We really enjoyed this time. Started with two sushi veggie rolls awesome beautifully presented. The shared the walnut shrimp. Lightly battered very tasty the walnuts were candied. Again presentation with a beautiful flower. Dessert was sticky rice with ice cream must try! Service very attentive. Even if you are not vegetarian it is a must try. They had a chef change the food is delicious, flavorful beautifully presented. Thank you!

We found this place on trip advisor as one of the highest rated restaurants in Vegas. We were not disappointed. Located in a strip mall a couple miles off the main drag in Vegas, this restaurant has some of the most unique vegan food I’ve ever seen. It’s set up as a regular Chinese food restaurant, but absolutely everything whether it’s chicken, beef, duck or other protein is some creative version of soy, vegetable or starch. Very friendly and helpful service, we had orange chicken, chow mein and vegetables. I’m not vegetarian, but I can’t hardly taste the difference. The chefs must have spent a lot of trial and error to perfect this menu. I don’t think they take reservations, but we got in with no problem, although we were quite early in the evening. Very inexpensive compared to other the name brand chef restaurants of the Strip! Will definitely be back!

I'm vegetarian and came w my 2 meat eating friends. They sometimes let me pick a place to eat and sure glad I chose here!!! The food was absolutely phenomenal, beyond words, best I've had yet AND the 2 meat eaters were surprised how much it tasted like real meat. Idk what actual meat tastes like anymore but I do know I had the best meal ever! Everything is Vegan, plant based, Gluten free and spectacular! We ordered a bunch and did like family style so we could all enjoy, we ordered… Roti w Curry- OMG next time I'm ordering my own! No sharing lol Sweet and sour fish- mmmm was good Walnut shrimp- wow wow wow!! It was amazing Orange chicken- I won't be sharing this either! They said it was better then any REAL orange chicken they can get! Beef w Broccoli- yummy in my tummy!! The "beef" was thin and had a nice crunch to it. We were ALL amazed how it looked like the real deal, even the fish looked like it had skin on it. Idk how they do it but it's well worth the trip from Henderson to come and have a bunch more! Next time I'm NOT eating all day just to enjoy this that much more!! Chef Kenny even was going around to all the customers and stopped at each table. We had a nice conversation with him. He's a true genius! I can't wait to try out his veggie burger spot called Vege-Way!! There business hours can be confusing because when we looked online it said open but during the day they are closed from 3:30-4:30 pm to allow staff to have a break 😁 otherwise they are open from 11:28am-9:33pm w that hour break! Plus they have an excellence of

This is a vegetarian's/ vegan's delight! Delicious food. Excellent service. Inexpensive. Great menu. Wish I had a place like this at home.

Being biased towards "clean" crispy/roasted type foods you get at Whole Foods Market this was a super big disappointment for the following reasons: 1. the veggies where just cooked soft with that broth "slime" coving it with a flavor of MSG to it. (this is common at lots of Americanized "Chinese" restaurants.) 2. They rufused to provide a sample of one of the soups for what ever the reason. So, it might be ok if you want a typical mushy over cooked Chinese American food. But, you might as well go the extra few miles to whole foods market west of there and get the real fresh crispy organic variety.

Chinese-cuisine vegetarian with absolutely tasty non-meat dishes. Upstairs on the second floor of an outdoor mall. We enjoyed the dishes so much we came back a second time during our short visit to Las Vegas. Wonderfully delicious.

We're eating healthy, staying lean and we're being ethical with animals and the food is delicious! We've tried most of the lunch specials... we love the spinach salad and the cilantro salad are really good.

This restaurant is a great option for vegans and nonvegans alike. We were surprised to hear that the whole menu was vegan! They had options ranging from seafood to tofu to beef to chicken, but no real meat. We had the house pan fried noodles, which were very good, cucumber salad, also good, lettuce wraps, tasty, a Cajun fish dish, alright, and the almond milk ice cream (vanilla and cherry chocolate chip), very good. Staff was friendly, and there was a nice atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it for some delicious Chinese food, especially for those looking for good vegan or vegetarian options!

very nice experience , the service was amazing, the place its Impecable, i recommend this place, food its very good a little bit of Brasil, nice people. Definitively we will go again. Thanks

My son recently went Vegetarian and invited me to a "Chinese" Restaurant for lunch. Not realizing it is completely meatless. We had Fried Won Tons, Beef Rolls, Miso soup, Sweet n Sour chicken, Brazed Pork, and chicken n mushrooms.... Wow it was Fantastic!! Only when we were saying our goodbyes in the parking lot did my son drop the bomb that there was NO MEAT in any of the dishes. I could not tell. World traveler and I could not tell. Food was just delicious. So good I'm going again tomorrow. Must try for any skeptics.

I love steak, but I try to go to the Veggie House at least once every time I visit Las Vegas. It's totally vegan/vegetarian and even though it says duck, chicken, beef; it's not. You really have to try it to believe it. They have shrimp that's not shrimp, but it's not one that I would order again. You can get brown rice instead of white. Green or jasmine tea and probably more choices. My personal favorite entree is the Chef's specialty, spicy, crispy, eggplant. My mouth is watering. It's heaven! It's great for after a show on the strip; it's so close by.

This was my first visit to this highly recommended restaurant. This is a comfortable traditional Chinese restaurant. As soon as we arrived we were made very welcome. This is a strict vegetarian restaurant which suited my family very well. The food came quickly and was delicious. There is nothing I could fault and it was really good value. This is one to return to

Was pressured there by a few friends, tried all new things. Was overall satisfied. The wait staff was very friendly and joked along with some of the guys.

Found this little place on TripAdvisor and we were so happy when we left as the food was super delicious, fresh and the staff very friendly and attentive. Both veggies and meat-eaters will love it. Try the Kung Pao Chicken!! 👌👌

Check out the menu on line....and it is all available. Perfect seasoning of everything that I tried....except the soup, which had little taste at all. Even meat lovers would be impressed and not miss their meat. I have had many variations of spicy eggplant and found the dish here to be the best ever: as crispy as carrot sticks, yet soft in their center. The sauce is sweet, garlicky, etc. At first it doesn't seem to be pepper-hot, but after a few seconds, the heat kicks in. Oh, so good. I had a "scallops" stir fry in which the "scallops" were batter-fried king oyster mushrooms. They didn't taste anything like scallops, but certainly tasted delicious. I hope to go back to try their other dishes soon. Service was excellent. Prices mainly in the 10.95 to 12.95 range for main dishes with a few higher. I thought the value was good for complicated dishes such as the stir-fries, but quite high for simple dishes of just one vegetable.

I found a Groupon for here while visiting Las Vegas and thought why not try it? It was the beginning of a very happy relationship! The food is AMAZING! And affordable. The location is on the second level of a strip mall so your first impression might be a little off, but reserve your judgement until you try the food. I am veggie and have taken carnivore friends there and they loved it as well. Try the BBQ pork appetizer. It's wonderful! The first time I had Beef and Broccoli I basically dissected the "beef" thinking it had to be real beef! Everything I have ever had has been great. My least favorite was the scallops. The shrimp is better. Chef Kenny is truly gifted! He usually comes out to visit with the patrons and to be certain you are enjoying the food. Highly recommend checking this place out. You won't be sorry!

I have eaten here many times, It's always the same: great Chinese food. It's difficult to imagine a menu that appears to be as comprehensive as any Chinese restaurant, but is all VEGETARIAN!! If you like good Chinese food, whether you're a vegetarian or not, give the Veggie House a try!

absolutely, positively, delicious food - move to NJ PLEASE!!!! - a very warm, inviting environment - never mind the $40 bowl of noodles at the casinos - you get more taste at this "real" Chinese restaurant for a much more reasonable price --- out of 5 dinners in LV, we ate 2 dinners here it was so good -- and folks if you're scared to go off the strip to get to this restaurant, don't be -- it's a safe little strip mall in chinatown

Excellent food, I couldnt believe it was a vegan restaurant everything looked and tasted just like meat! it is so awesome to find Vegan options for such good prices. The wait staff are also very helpful and always smiling! Very clean and well kept. I loved the interior decorations as well!

Staying with family and they enjoy this place, I have to admit I was leery at first because I am not a vegan or vegetarian. I had the veggie lo mein and was pleasantly surprised! Lots of flavor and super fresh veggies! I’m so glad I tried it!

Just finished eating amazing and mouth watering food. Enjoyed vegan dessert. Must come and enjoy food and hospitality.

We went as a family to try out the food here. Everything was tasty and portions were decent. However, we were disappointed that the sour curry we ordered turned out to be Japanese katsu curry instead. The dish went to waste. Other than that, everything we ordered was good. The chef was really nice, walking around to ensure all customers were happy. Superb service!

I eat everything: veg and non-veg alike. And being honest most of the dishes here taste quite similar to non-veg. My family couldn't believe that they were eating so many dishes in some many flavors without eating animals. Staff is superb too.

My meat eating friends told me to get in the car, they were taking me somewhere special for lunch. When we walked up to Veggie House, I couldn't help but wonder if they knew this was a vegan restaurant?. Then I decided.... I didn't care, inside I was doing the happy dance! Turns out they were very aware. Aware the food was fantastic - and that's all that really mattered to them. Normally Asian restaurants scare me - lots of hidden ingredients (many containing wierd animal products, ewww) We ordered a few entrees to share to get a good sample of the different items. Everything I tried was delicious. There were even some dishes that if I didn't know better I would swear were not vegan. The staff was very friendly and Chef Kenny himself was running around making sure everything was perfect. Vegans, children and Meat eaters alike will love this place. I can't even tell you how many people had told me about Veggie House - it's a bit of a cult favorite, and not just in the veggie community. No idea what took me so long to try it. I'm definitely going back and dragging everyone I know. They can thank me later :)

Saucier than the dishes I had in China but good flavor and authentic ingredients. The lunch special portions are small for the price.

What a great find for vegans and vegetarians. There is no meat or seafood served however, even meat eaters could eat here. The food is fresh and very well prepared. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the chef really does care!

What an amazing place for vegan food! I couldn’t believe my eyes when the food showed up. Whether you’re vegan or not come here as you won’t miss the meat. First time here and will definitely have to go back! Besides the fact that the food is amazingly delicious, service is exceptional!

Hands down ..THEE best Chinese food i have ever had!...We had crispy beef, spring rolls, orange chicken, noodles, rice and soup.Absolutely amazing. And everything was VEGAN!..I dont know how they do it...there was even 'shrimp' in there!...You would'nt even know it was vegan....The staff were great as well....Chef Kenny is a Wizard!...My new fave place to eat....

I have been here 3 times and love it everytime. My visit to Vegas is not complete if I dont hav a meal here and it is always a highlight of my trip. Food is excellent fresh and service is great. Highly recommend it.

Every time we come to Vegas we eat here groupon or not. Everything is delcious. Between three visits we had sesame chicken, crispy beef (which was absolutely devine) pad Thai with chicken and ramen noodle soup. Amazingly tasty, yummy and any other adjective to describe Chef Kenny and his awesome cuisine.

Had a discount coupon, let's give it a try. Egg rolls were great. One of us ordered orange chicken, not sure what the chicken was....Vegan Noodles were good, too many secrets things though, that are to look like meat...I only want veggies....No supplements. It was an adventure, give it a shot☺️

Frankly every meal at this place is great. My wife and I frequently eat vegetarian or vegan. If you do too you will know that some of this kind of food is unpalatable to to others. Not the meals that Chef Kenny makes. My teen hates everything good for her and she is eager to go here. So this is for everybody. Portions are filling and costs are a bargain considering what healthy food costs elsewhere. The staff is very friendly and attentive and chef Kenny comes out of the kitchen to visit with the patrons. Is there any substitute for the chef checking to find out if you are satisfied with your meal? Nope. Generally I stick to the daily recommended list. they have a big menu and a one page of the recommended. After having eaten there dozens of times I shall say that finally vegetarian food comparable to the west coast comes to Vegas.... At this point we have never arrived there when we could not immediately be seated. Seating is family style. Mid-level Feng Shui stile interior. Eating area is one big room with about a dozen tables. some are within enclosures making them somewhat separate. This is a good place to take your family or wife. I see mostly adult couples today on a Saturday about 2PM. Probably most were out shopping before the meal. Both waitresses greeted us and Chef Kenny came over to our table. We had the beef and broccoli and Cajun fish. Both were excellent, prepared fresh and cam out quickly. The Cajun is available with the degree of heat that you like. Unlike many Asian restaurants, they always have fresh brown rice as well as white rice.

We found this place on-line and it had good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. We are glad we did! We ordered the corn soup, Cajun fish, beef and broccoli, shrimp and vegetables and shared all of it. everything was vegetarian and everything was delicious. Wish we had one of these back home.

We found a groupon for this place while visiting Las Vegas. The prices are really affordable though so we would go back without one. We went for lunch. The ambiance was relaxing and cute even though it's on the second floor of a strip mall. There are a lot of plants and a water fountain. The service was excellent. The food was amazing. We started with the spring rolls and lettuce wraps. The spring rolls are fried and two to an order. The lettuce wraps were the best we've ever had. The "meat" had the texture of real chicken; the way it shreds. The sauce was the bomb as well. For entrees we enjoyed the Spicy Veggie Mongolian Beef with brown rice and the House Chow Mein Vegetables. I was sad that they both had the same vegetables, but that was my bad for not asking which veggies were in the chow mein. The flavors were beyond expectations; spicy and delicious. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try a flavorful, asian, plant based meal. For the more adventurous, they offer vegan shrimp and scallops. We liked the shrimp, but the scallops were not a favorite.

This Restaurant was recommended to me by a Vegan friend several years ago. I will admit, I am not Vegan, Vegetarian, or even health food conscious. I'm a foodie, and I love food experiences that can excite my taste buds with flavor and complexity regardless of the ingredient. It took me over a year, after being told of this restaurant, to finally try it. I've been to too many vegan/vegetarian joints that smell like pureed wheat grass, serving you food that looks like twigs in mud. I will assure you, this is NOT that kind of place. Walking in, it actually smelled like any normal restaurant. The friendly staff walked us through the menu and the food was simply amazing! On my last visit, we had the Walnut Shrimp, Kung Pao Combination, and Pork Belly Appetizer. The food looked, smelled and tasted like a well prepared dish of the same name that was made with meat. I was shocked to have so much savory flavor in completely vegan recipes. Now, I recommend this place to everyone, Carnivores, Omnivores, and Herbivores alike, and always get an appreciative "thank you" after they visit Veggie House. This place is definitely a must visit. And for you skeptics out there, I was very much like you, but, keep an open mind, do yourself a favor, and give Veggie House a try. You won't be disappointed!

We followed other reviews, we were curious about the menu and such good reviews, but it definetely deserves 5 stars. We ordered 3 random dishes and all of them were excelent, surely coming back on next visit to Las Vegas. It is on the second floor of the building, just in case you wonder.

I was in town for a friend's birthday. I was looking at most of the Vegetarian restaurants. Based on the Trip advisor reviews, I decided to try this place with my meat eater friend. We BOTH loved the food here...so much, that my Meat eating friend suggested we try it again...and we did! They offer a large variety of meals. We loved the General Tso. When you try it, the restaurant is located upstairs in the left hand corner if you are facing the building. Will definitely return! Yummy!

Having very specific allergies and being vegan this restaurant was a incredible find. The food is delicious for even my hubby and friends who are not Vegan. Mimi was a great waitress and very knowledgeable on the foods I could have and to stay away from due to my allergies. Highly recommend this restaurant for everyone!!

This is a chinese restaurant but swapping meat for tofu, not to be 3rd nor 300th of Las Vegas. I have been in many veggie places much better than this one

My fav restaurant in Vegas. It's so hard to find good vegan restaurants, let alone, excellent. The sicy crispy beef is amazing. Can't wait to go back.

This was the best restaurant that I ate at in Las Vegas. The food is excellent and the service was the best. They are so nice. The Cajun shrimp and orange chicken and Mongolian beef or excellent so is the fried rice.

We came upon Veggie House via an internet search for a restaurant in Vegas. Now, there are myriad restaurants in Vegas, many of which are satellites of well known (and usually expensive) restaurants around the world. We didn't want that. And we didn't really want a casino restaurant. Veggie House had great reviews, a unique cuisine, and an attractive price tag. We were not disappointed. We over-ordered and over-stuffed ourselves with roti, rice noodles w/vegs, "beef" w/broccoli, and eggplant. And while the propensity to fry (or stir fry) probably negated the health benefits of eschewing meat, the food was delicious. The only thing that did not ring true was the crowd -- there wasn't one. When I called, I was told that the restaurant does not take reservations for small parties and fills up after about 7:30. So we got there early (6:30) but the crowds did not show up. It's also a little hard to find, since it is on the second floor and in the back of a strip center. But persevere. It's worth it.

Ok, I eat meat. I eat lots of meat. I don't eat veggies much, that's what food eats. My wife is a vegan so she dragged me here. I've never eaten vegetarian food made into regular food before. So this place already had 3 strikes against it. Probably the best meal I had in las vegas. I would eat here every day. I had (fake) orange beef and my wife ordered some (fake) chicken and veggies. Upon close inspection the chicken appeared to have meat fibers in it, just like real chicken. The beef was close but was not as tough as real meat. The both were delicious.

We had wanted to go to another place, where there was a ridiculously long line waiting for a seat. So we went over to this place as it was highly rated on both Yelp and TripAdvisor. We weren't disappointed. My friend had a fried rice dish and I got some kind of "chicken" and mushrooms. The ginger sauce that came with my dish was phenomenal! Both dishes came with huge piles of food, and I have to say I finished every bite and was practically licking the plate. The snow peas, mushrooms and carrots were very fresh. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat. Unfortunately we found it late in our stay. Will make sure it's one of the first places I get to next time I'm in Vegas.

After reading awesome reviews we had to try. Some of the best Chinese food I have had. We tried Kung pao "chicken" and Orange "chicken" for lunch. They brought out an excellent soup. We were blown away that everything was "vegan." Then for dessert we tried vanilla ice cream and my wife had cherry chocolate chip ice cream over "cheese"cake. WOW. We will Be back next time I visit Las Vegas!

We so enjoyed this place. The food was flavoursome and textural we really enjoyed this as a treat. Lots of delicious fried items, as well as braised items. No beer or anything.... but so worth a visit!

This place is amazing! I’ve taken many meat eaters here and they can’t deny that it’s delicious! It’s the perfect spot to prove that vegan can be delectable. Start off with a vegan Thai iced tea. It sounds weird for a Chinese spot but try the roti with curry appetizer. You won’t be disappointed. The crispy spicy eggplant, orange chicken, oyster mushroom with lemon grass sauce, and spicy crispy beef are my top entree picks. Finish it all of with sweet sticky rice with a scoop of vegan cherry chocolate chip ice cream. 😋😋😋

We found this little gem on TripAdvisor before coming on our wedding trip to vegas (from the Uk) and had earmarked this as a restaurant we wanted to try. We're not veggie or even vegan (although we do try, but more of flexiterian). I'm so pleased we ventured off of the strip to find this. The food was totally amazing, with very friendly service. You wouldn't know that this is a vegan restaurant, the mock meat dishes are so convincing. I have no doubt that we'll come again before we go home in a few days, it was one of our favourite meals on our trip. Definitely worth finding out.

This resto is awesome--the food, ambiance, and service is outstanding. Went first for dinner last night and ordered roti w/ curry for starter--it's really good Then we had the Chef Kenny Special "Spinach Salad" followed by the Seafood Mixed Vegetables in Clay Pot. Then for dessert we had vanilla ice cream w/ quinoa and taro w/c is the bomb of all. Had to come back today for lunch and tried Kenny's Cilantro Salad which the waitress recommended. I don't even like cilantro but the dressing compensate the distinct taste of cilantro. We ordered also Kung Pao 3 and Sizzling tofu. All the food is super tasty and price is not even bad. Highly recommended for those who's watching calories and sugar.

Our favorite vegetarian restaurant of the trip! We went with a group of 10 people. We decided to dine family-style, with 10 different dishes on the lazy Susan. We each got to sample all of the dishes and we agreed that they were all winners, from the sushi, to the salad, to the rice dishes, noodle dishes, and sautés. Our groups had a variety of dietary requirements, from vegetarian, to vegan, to gluten-free, and the staff was super informative and helpful. And everything was so good that even the meat-eaters were satisfied. It’s away for the strip, but well worth it. Great value. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent vegan food that you cannot believe it isn’t meat! Excellent service with friendly and fast servers Have a question, they can suggest the popular items. You will not be disappointed

If you are a true vegetarian who was born this way, you will appreciate this amazing restaurant!! I loved my Spicy Schewan tofu and the appetizer Roti with curry was bloody amazing!!! I can't say enough how much I really loved this restaurant and food.. Wish there was on here in California.. I would be there EVERDAY!!! Thanks to Veggie House for an amazing food experience!!! See you soon!!!

If I lived closer, I'd be here every night. Extensive vegan menu with a lot of non-typical "Chinese" food. For instance, sea cucumber. Seaweed stalks? Umm, not quite sure so I took a bite of my friends dish. Wow. Chewy, seaweedy salty -- addictive. If the dish doesn't have broccoli in it, I've had it. (I must be the only vegan on the planet that doesn't like broccoli). Nothing fancy on the outside, but pure delight on the inside.

We are not fans of vegetarian food, but the experience in this one was pretty good, delicious, lots of options, very tasty, good ambiance and service. Recommend it.

Spectacular vegetarian/vegan food. A true gem! Waitress was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions. Cajun "shrimp" was a surprise but my husband absolutely loved it. I had General Tzo's "chicken". Amazing! Even meat-eaters wil find something to enjoy here....and might not even notice the difference!

If you want to eat authentic Chinese food then go to this restaurant .... Food and service was wonderful and price was cheap. Located in Chinatown ask for Chef Kenny.

What can you say about Last Vegas that hasn't already been said? Well, it is home to this most excellent restaurant which ticks all the boxes. Get away from the strip with all the idiot tax and lack of choice & imagination. This is where it's at. Fabulous pan-Asian dishes from ramen to Tom yum to Szechuan - expertly and speedily prepared by my new hero Chef Kenny. Terrific value with lunch specials to please any palate. Try the seaweed salad; it is awesome. I also had the ramen which had lots of flavoursome tofu, spinach and shitake mushroom. Easily the best #vegan restaurant in Vegas.

My husband read the reviews and wanted to try after a negative experience the night before. Had the Buddah's Feast with tofu. We enjoyed it, but it was not outstanding. The wait staff was excellent. Pleasant atmosphere. Might try again with a different dish. Wait staff was so accommodating, I would return.

We visited Las Vegas this past weekend and ate at veggie house three times. We went for lunch all three times. The servers were very helpful. I had a lot of questions about ingredients and they answered them for me. We loved the lotus root cakes, buddha delight and Kung Pao veggies. The food was fresh, light and tasted just wonderful. A definite stop if you are looking for healthy and fresh vegetarian food.

I recently discovered this little slice of heaven called The Veggie House. The food is so delightfully delicious that it's hard to believe that the dishes are vegetarian. I tried the Walnut Shrimp; which has the taste, texture, and succulence of shrimp, but it's vegan. I also loved the crunchy Spinach Salad, with bits of vegan chicken, the Pot Stickers, Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken Curry with Potato (best in the city...WOW), Orange Chicken, and Cherry Chocolate Chip ice cream. Also the prices are more than reasonable for the large portions of food. Our bill came to $52 for salad and for entrees. My family, friends, and I loved the food, but really enjoyed the tasty surprises of this culinary experience.

Yummy! Excellent and friendly service and flavorful food. Best dishes were sweet and sour chicken and the steak sizzler (which isn’t on the menu). Go check it out

Best selection of all vegetarian/vegan Asian dishes I've ever seen. Everything our whole group had was tasty - and most of the folks were skeptical meat eaters. Very fresh veggies, tasty sauces, good rice. Can't go wrong!

Excellent food, excellent taste, excellent service. These guys are very innovative in the way they cook their wonderful dishes. We had a great time and will definitely return when we come to Vegas again!

I guess we don't understand the concept. The place doesn't prepare food with meat, chicken or seafood; however, the menu is based on beef, chicken, etc. My wife ordered something listed under beef. The fake beef looks like beef and is tough; however, it is tasteless. I ordered the pan fried noodles with chicken and shrimp. The noodles were dry, as in, straight out of the plastic bag; never pan fried. The fake chicken and shrimp should be labeled, since it has no resemblance to either and is tasteless. Why would anybody that eats only vegetables want to waste their money on something that doesn't resemble or taste like what they don't eat anyway?

I knew it was vegan and was puzzled by the 'meat' dishes on the menu. Once I got my head around it, the staff were exteemely helpful with descriptions, I thorouly enjoyed my meal. The crispy eggplant was wonderul. Will definitely eat there again next time I am back in town.

I don’t even know the words to express how phenomenal this place is. I had to double and triple check this was all plant based. I swore it had to be meat because somehow they made it look and taste like meat. We were in Begas for 5 days and we ended up eating here 3 out of the 5 nights we were there.

Ok I consider myself a 100% carnivore but dabble in the veggie life every now and then. My sister is working meat out her diet and brought us here for our last meal on this Vegas trip. IT WAS DELICIOUS! It was so surprisingly good. The food is prepared in an Asian style so like Chinese take out but the quality is excellent for everything to be vegetarian/vegan. I think even other carnivores would love it.

We had : 38. Curry Vegetables with Tamarind Sauce The food was amazing the curry tasted awesome, it was actually the best curry I'd actually ever eaten. It came in this gigantic take away tub, almost as big as your head! The service was quick and they even bought the food up to the 18th floor of the Harrah's Hotel, very impressed with the service and the food. Totally recommend this place for vegans.

I am a meat lover and got dragged to the Veggie House. But wow, was I surprised. We ordered the faux meat dishes and honestly, they taste better than real meat. I have no idea how they do it. For me to recommend a vegetarian restaurant should speak volumes if you look at my other reviews, which are heavy on steakhouses and the like. I can't believe I would ever say this about a vegetarian restaurant, I can't wait to go back.

Excellent dishes that are hard to tell are Vegan dishes and not the real thing. Went here because my daughter id Vegetarian.

All I can saw is WOW. I stumbled into this place after meeting someone in the area. Never paid attention that I was in a vegetarian restaurant. The menu featured all types of meat and seafood entres. I ordered the Cajun fish, a duck dish, and the spinach salad. OMG. All of the dishes were awesome. I realized that the meat dishes were a bit different in texture. However, I didn't realize that they were all vegetables, there was no meat at all. I had eaten vegetarian dishes before, but never so tasty. The restaurant in on the second level of an Asian shopping mall. Very nice location and facilities. The owner and Chef was very cordial. He mixed and mingled with customers and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the food. I loved it too the point that I went back the next day for lunch. The eggplant dish I ordered was off the charts, good.

This is one of he best places I have been! Tons of choices and everything we had was excellent. The service is friendly and efficient. This place is an amazing value and great even if you are not vegan

Seriously, killer food. I had the Kung Pao "Chicken" with brown rice and broccoli and it was dynamite! Oh, and a side of the sushi rolls. Yum! Dangerously sweet, melt-in-your-mouth medley of flavors not to miss. I'm really looking forward to returning to try the "duck" or "shrimp" or something else more exotic to us plant-eaters. This chef could probably convert die-hard meatatarians.

You MUST go here!! I can't even describe how delicious and amazing this place is! We went with a groupon- but would come back anytime. Vegan or not, you will be amazed! How does the chef do it? We had potstickers- best ever! Kung pao "beef"-- you had no clue it wasn't real beef. Sizzling seafood- unreal! "Shrimp" and"fish" that looked and tasted like the real thing. Scallops were the only disappointment. Huge portions- wish I had room for vegan ice cream, but had to pass. Friendly staff-- worth the drive off the strip!

My wife and I found the restaurant based on TripAdvisor rating for a Chinese Restaurant. It did not disappoint us! Excellent taste. It is not a fancy restaurant but the food is excellent. They were offering sushi night. The chef was very friendly and explained that the sauce is a combination of Japanese and Chinese sauces. It was to dream for! This is a definite stop for us in the future.

I took my husband here while visiting Vegas. He ate every morsel!! Great Service and great food. I can’t wait to return.

If you're a vegan, and want to escape the mass amount of meat on the Las Vegas strip, then this is the place for you!! You will need to Uber or drive here, but it is so worth it! The food is tasty, not too expensive, and there is LOADS of choice! We made the mistake of ordering lemon chicken and orange chicken, instead of branching out to something new... but not to worry it was delicious! If we're ever in Vegas again, we'll definitely be stopping by!

Heard about this restaurant from Trip Advisor. As veggie food is not that easy to find in the USA, decided to check the place out. Once we had found it, it is hidden away in a small mall type complex, provided with wonderful food, and great service. Have to say the fake meat/shrimp was a bit off putting to someone who has been veggie for 35 plus years, but lots of good quality, great tasting, non-fake meat options. And they are opening in Portland OR soon, which broadens their scope!

We took a group of non- vegetarians who all loved the food offered. The restaurant is well worth visiting but don't go too late, as staff don't like hanging around.

We ordered family style Pineapple Duck, Spicy Crispy Eggplant, Kung Pao Chicken, and Broccoli Shrimp. My wife didn't quite understand the concept of veggie meats when she ordered the Broccoli Shrimp, and she didn't care for the veggie shrimp, and in her defense, it was unappetizing looking, but the Kung Pao Chicken and Pineapple Duck could have fooled me; it was really delicious and meaty tasting...yum! I ordered the Spicy Crispy Eggplant just because I love eggplant and wanted to try it; I wasn't disappointed. It was beyond delicious! They were busy the night we were there and the service was good up until it was time to get the check; we had to get up and walk to the door before our check was brought to us. But the food was so good, we could put up with a little inconvenience. We will definitely revisit! Five stars.

On a business trip to Las Vegas, I went to eat lunch by myself and had a great value lunch special. It was so good that I took a group of 7 of my business colleagues back there a couple of nights later even though they wanted a big fancy overpriced Las Vegas steak meal elsewhere. They were completely blown away by the food and said that if vegan food was always this good, they wouldn't hesitate to go vegan. In short, don't hesitate to go there!

We found this place on HappyCow, then checked Yelp, and took a Lyft there from the Strip. So glad we did! The roti with curry sauce was so tasty, the crispy eggplant delicious and satisfying, the bamboo flower and tofu was fun to try. They have white and brown rice, jasmine tea, and really friendly and helpful service. We went for an early dinner and it was still crowded with a diverse clientele, which was nice to see. Highly recommended.

Found this place using Google maps and was willing to give it a shot after reading the positive reviews. They were absolutely right, the food is really good. They have vegan chicken and fish that really look like the real deal and are very tasty. The Thaï soup was delicious as well as the curry vegan fish. I’m going back for sure...

Service was super quick, polite & efficient. Although I’m not vegan; my friend is, and this was certainly a perfect place to take him. The food was cooked to quality better than restaurants that sell meat. Even if you’re not a vegan, this is still definitely worth the try!! I definitely advise trying the sweet & sour chicken!

This is my second review of this place although we've been there 4 years in a row on annual trips to Las Vegas. I don't know what I can say except this is the real deal vegan food. I really like completely vegan restaurants as our entire group can order anything on the menu without having to think or ask questions. We went here twice in a 4 day stay in Las Vegas. Everything we had was just excellent. There's very little to avoid on the menu. I recall from last year that we didn't like the kidney but honestly, that's subjective; there may be people who rave over them. While here we saw a ad for the owner's new place, vegan fast food called Vege Way, tried it, liked it and went there twice on this trip too. I reviewed it separately. If you're a vegan or vegetarian you're absolutely going to love this place. If you're an omnivore, my guess is that you're going to be very pleasantly surprised.
Unbelievable foods come here
This was an amazing restaurant. . The food was out of this world, service was incredible ..very hospitable staff. As a strict vegetarian it was great to get vegan Chinese food..however my meat-eating family enjoyed the meal as well. We came here during lunch time. Portions are plentiful. Will come back here again in the future. Don't waste your time with high end Chinese food on the strip.. take a short drive and get real authentic Chinese food.
