This wood fired thin crust pie, with fresh ingredients and great flavor combinations make for the best pizza in my neighborhood. The long lines at the Ballard Farmers' Market do not lie. It's not "reheated". It's not greasy. It's delicious. Highly recommend. And now I'm going to go buy a pie.

delicious pizza pies - thin crust, with all of the great attributes including very dark spots, bubbles, and crispy base and crust.

Delish pizza and a great value. I got a large slice and a soda for about 5 bucks. The service is fast and there are lots of magazines to read while you are eating lunch. The atmosphere is a little plain, not much scenery. Its a good stop on your way to or from the zoo.

We went to this small and cute place with some friends. We ordered the Savory Sal and it was incredible! Apparently, they have new specials every week. Definitively, I will repeat the experience.

I tried Veraci's Pizza for the first time at the Ballard Farmers Market. I found it to be average, the long line for re-heated pizza was not worth it. If you like greasy (almost as bad as Pizza Hut) pizza, than this is for you! Toppings are not bad, and the on site pizza oven is a good concept. If they improved the quality of the ingredients I would consider them for a 2nd try.

I was in Seattle for a wedding in September. (I don't like weddings, so I was not looking forward to this experience.) As it turns out the Bride and Groom choose to have Veraci cater their wedding with their pizza wagon/trailer. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen as far as pizza goes! I want one! The pizza was really good, too. It also added an element of fun to the wedding that most weddings don't have...weddings are usually way too serious :) So, if you're going to have a wedding - think about the guests. They just want to have fun...this is sure one way to do it!

Fantastic staff and pizza. They offer dairy free cheese and meatless “sausage”. Will be going back!!

There's another thin-crust, wood-fired pizza place a few blocks away, where people wait and wait to be served. Veraci is just as good, better-priced, and FAST. Very friendly, funky staff, too!

Thin, crispy crust from wood-fired oven, generous toppings, and not as greasy as Pagliacci. This is the best pizza in our neighborhood and maybe in Seattle.

Four of us went for lunch on Sunday. We ordered two whole pies. The best we have had in Washington state. The team working at Veraci was awesome. Friendly. The restaurant is small and fills up quickly. They served raft beer and also glasses of wine. The restaurant is kept very clean. The parking lot is very small. You can order a entire pie or just have slices. We met Victoria. She showed us a wood burning oven on a truck. She said that they have six trucks you can rent one (with their staff) for a party. They also take trucks to the local farmers markets. Will suggest VERACI Pizza to our friends. Reasonably priced. Awesome pizza. Will stop in again the next time weare in the Seattle/Ballard area.

This is one of our standbys when we don't feel like cooking. A slice or two and a Salati Fresca to share makes for a great dinner at a very reasonable cost! The thin crust is delicious ... it bubbles up nicely while keeping a great bite. The regular pies (cheese, pepperoni etc.) are great and the daily specials are always worth a look. They use great locally-made salumi in their pizzas but there are always great vegetarian options on offer as well. And if you want a salad to go with the slices then I'd suggest eschewing the Caesar (it's good though) and going for the refreshing and bright Salati Fresca!

My now wife and I hired Veraci Pizza Catering to cater our wedding in September 2020. We put a $2,053 deposit down to reserve their services for our wedding day. Veraci breached our contract and won’t return our very large deposit. We contacted Errin Byrd (the owner) in August to let her know we still wanted to have the mobile pizza service come to the wedding, knowing that we might have to get creative to comply with the law. We had let her know that we were reducing our headcount down to 30 people and that we were very open to options that would make her comfortable. Errin immediately and abruptly refuted any and all options that she might be able to accommodate for us. She then talked at me for 5 minutes with a loud, stubborn, and forceful tone. She said she would not be bringing the mobile pizza truck to our event under any circumstances in September. She then said she wouldn’t give our deposit back, and that if she did she would go out of business. I, maintaining composure, told her that we would still like her at the wedding and if she couldn’t provide services I understood, but I felt that she owed us our deposit back. Explaining to her that we only gave her a deposit under the presumption that she could provide pizzas for us on our event date at our venue. She then replied by saying we weren’t getting anywhere and that she wouldn’t give our deposit back or provide catering services, and then she hung up on me. It’s very frustrating that Veraci Pizza and Errin Byrd have chosen to take advantage of their customers during the pandemic. This unprecedented event has impacted our entire community in many ways, and it is sad to see someone values and ethics immediately retreat when they are faced with adversity. It’s especially frustrating knowing that there are many government grants and loans that could help her business out at this time to make up for lost revenues. I’ve googled her company and know they have taken advantage of the PPP loan from the government that was between $150k and $350k according to the small business association (Lender Washington Federal Bank, National Association), which was approved on April 29, 2020. Based on this I presumes she has also taken advantage of other city, state, or federal grants. Somehow Veraci Pizza ownership has rationalized stealing from her customers and she believes there will be little to no recourse. I hope she has the capacity to rethink her position, reason through her morals and ethics, and treat her customers kindly and well. I also hope she writes us a check and returns our deposit.

Whether you go to the restaurant or visit their traveling station at the Ballard Farmers Market, this wonderful thin crust pizza with very fresh toppings! With rotating specials loaded with veggies and meat, you will find pizza to please everyone! Tip: Go on Sundays to the market where you can get 1/4 of a pie for $5-$6!

The pizza here is pretty good! It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but I certainly had no trouble eating the whole thing! I tend to prefer Chicago style deep dish or more artisan pizzas. Veraci does what I would consider to be your basic pizza, but they do it very well. Prices are really good, and the people that work there are really nice! I was able to eat out on the little patio with my dog. This is a great little local pizza place!

Small eat-in area for big tasting thin crust pizza. Outstanding cheese and Italian sausage pie with exceptional garden salad, all with the freshest possible ingredients. Many other combinations available to satisfy most tastes.Friendly staff and a great wood fired oven compliment the restaurants charm. Nice selection of adult beverages but non-alcohol beverages also available. Limited on-site parking but lots of on-street parking available. Expect a bit of a wait due to their pizza's popularity but you won't be sorry you waited.

Can honestly say this was the best pizza I've ever tasted. We chose the Spicy Tony and the Hot Coppa and they were both divine. All the ingredients are perfectly blended...no one flavour overpowers the others. Don't go anywhere else for your Seattle pizza needs!

Yes!!!!! This is the one of the best pizzaplaces around anywhere. We got a bunch for our picnic after the gig at the ballard locks. Every slice was gobbled in 15 minutes

This pizza here is standout quality, and a relative bargain for pizza made in a traditional Italian style. It also travels quite well. It won't get soggy in the box on the way home, and reheats in your oven to about the same state as when it came out of the pizzeria oven. Veraci has a wood fired oven that quickly cooks the pies at close to 900 degrees. The crust is light and flaky, housemade red sauce fine, and local ingredients tops - including meats from Salumi. This is an Italian style pizza, so don't expect a more typical cheese and sauce laden pie. For that, you might try the reasonably nearby Northlake Tavern. The Red Earth pie, add sausage or proscuitto, substitute ricotta for feta, is favorite. Its also a relative bargain among the oddly booming "just like being there " local Neopolitan pizza businesses. For the cost of an individual sized pizza at other places, you get a large pie that will serve two to four. The antipasta plate and ceasar salad are also great. The atmosphere is utilitarian, so if you want a quiet romantic dinner you may want to take your food home, or perhaps up the hill to sit in Sunset Park. Friendly, albeit disorganized, staff.

This venue is a little small. I'd recommend taking a seat, then ordering your meal if you're going to stay to eat. Take away is no problem though. Thin crust Neapolitan style wood fired keep the veggies fresh while the pie is hot and done to a turn. They make it well enough it's hard to try anywhere else.

I would say this was the best gluten free pizza, but it was also the best PIZZA we have had stateside. It is comparable to many of the pizzas we had in italy. They use a fantastic wood fired oven and their thin crust gets perfectly crispy and flavorful. their toppings were high quality and their pairings were unique and on point.

3 1/2 stars really. It is not quite average and not quite above average. I have had Veraci at several areas farmers markets and like it enough to finally try their Seattle location. Compared to their mobile pizzas I was somewhat disappointed. Perhaps we have been lucky to get a great pizza maker at their mobile locations in Fremont and Bellevue. Edges of both of our pizzas were overly blackened as to be unpleasant to eat. Toppings were generous and flavorful. Pizza sauce is a bit heavy for "Neopolitan" style pizza. We arrived at 5:30 pm on a saturday to find a packed house. Four tables seat 4 with a couple that seat 2. Impossible space for larger parties. Our party of 9 had to sit at separate tables as there is not enough floor space to put tables together so be aware. Will try again if in the area but did not like enough to make a special trip.

I was not expecting to find good pizza in Seattle as I am a New Yorker who loves good pizza. I went to Verachi the other night. We had two pizzas. Both were very good. Not great but certainly well worth trying.

We go to Veraci for slices and salads. Their standard slices are amazing and the salads are very fresh. The slices are quite large and a good value.

The staff tends to mediocre at best. We've been to both their restaurant location and to their various farmers market locations over the years. It is a crap shoot as to whether they will get your order right, whether you'll get someone who is service oriented. Why do I keep subjecting myself to this? Because I tend to use my Chinook book coupons and my kiddo invariably asks for Veraci at the Queen Anne farmers market. Tonight I've had it with Veraci. At the QA farmers market, I ordered a whole mushroom. When my order came up, the surly hipster girl in a blue shirt tried to give me a pepperoni. I told her that it wasn't my pizza and that we ordered mushroom. She couldn't be bothered with me, saying that she didn't take my order and tried to walk away. She was just plain rude. The kicker is I bought two lemonades to qualify for my pizza. Both lemonades tasted like ONIONS. Disgusting. I'm done with Veraci. Pagliacci, you have our vote.

We are frequent visitors to the Fremont Sunday Market. There are several food vendors here each Sunday but I most often stop by the Veraci Pizza booth to get a great tasting slice of pizza. Their pizzas are unique, flavorful, and a great value.

We didn't eat at the restaurant but got some slices from their booth at the Ballard Farmer's Market. They had their coal fired oven under a tarp and were churning out blistered thin crust perfectly balanced pies. I decided to try the mushroom since the Pacific NW is shroom country. Even though the pizza had been out for a bit, the friendly server put a VERY generous slice back into the heat, and within seconds, my hot pizza slice was cut in half for two very decent portions. After a sprinkle of some parm and dried chile peppers, I sat on the curb to enjoy my lunch. The ratio of sauce, cheese and topping was in perfect proportion. All the ingredients blended perfectly which resulted in one harmonious bite after the other. I almost forgot about all the dozens of people mingling around me as I devoured the slices. I wish I could have a bite now....

Veraci's has the best pizza and fastest service anywhere in Seattle! We've eaten here a number of times, but after eating here last night, I just had to gush about the best mushroom pizza I've ever had. Thin crust, red sauce, perfectly cooked 'shrooms...nirvana. Along with the best pizza and fast service, the staff is downright NICE! This is a great place for a quick and delicious meal. Yummy.

A neighborhood pizzeria. We went there because it was close to our accommodations. Ok décor. Most do take-out there. The pizza was your normal varieties and tasted good.

Went to this pizza spot on a whim and very glad we did. It's our new pizza spot in Seattle. The pizzas are fire baked and the crust is amazing

No complaints from this family!! Delicious, fresh hit pizza from a wood stove! The employees were awesome and friendly! The place itself was charming!!

First, we are italian and we know if pizza is good or not. Before our holiday we saw 'Veraci' aired on Eat Street tv serie and we were curious to try its pizzas. Once we were in Seattle we first tried Veraci's in Bellevue Farmer's Market and.....was so great that when two weeks later we were back (we were on holiday on West Coast) we decided to go to the Restaurant in Ballard and double the experience. We tried Pepperoni, Three cheese, Amante di carne and Fresh Mushroom. All great.

Excellent thin crust pizza. Fresh toppings with a range of ingredients to please kids to hipsters. There is free parking but it fills quickly.

Very good fresh toppings. Thin crust but soggy in the middle. Good local micro beers on tap. Staff were trying hard but struggling (short staffed) on a slamming busy night (especially pre-8:30pm). Gluten-free crust available.

Great little neighborhood pizza place in the Ballard area. Love the friendly local atmosphere! Everyone stands around with a glass if wine or beer while they wait for their pizza and chats with each other. Had a great chicken and pepperoni combo!

Good, thin crust pizza! Added a Caesar salad and it was good, too. The family size served 3 adults easily. Will try again.

This is excellent pizza and highly recommend you treat yourself and others to their cuisine...all excellent

There are much better pizza places in Seattle. If you go, you'll need paper towels to mop up the grease that's on the pizza and if you use their catering be aware of a 10% service charge on anything you pick up.

We were excited to try this pizza after reading all of the rave reviews. The pizza was excellent, but the floors were filthy and all of the empty/open tables had not been cleaned. We had to clear our own by putting trash onto another table. The staff was extremely unhelpful and disinterested, but it seems that's pretty much par for the course in Seattle.

We bought Veraci pizza at Fremont sunday flea market, Evanston ave north, Seattle. Came here for the first time and surprise see the Puzza grill by wood fired, thin crust pizza, nice & recommended.

First got introduced to the Pizza at the Fremont Market.. Their storefront in Ballard has a larger selection. The simple mushroom pizza, taste the mushroom but not overbearing. Too many ingredients only muddles the flavor. 1 or 2 diverse flavors excites the palette.

I have had their pizza by the slice a number of times in the past at the Fremont Market. This time we decided to have lunch at their restaurant, a somewhat hole-in-the-wall looking structure on the east end of Market Street in Ballard. They do have parking, but it is limited so if there are no spaces left then more than likely, no tables will be left either. The restaurant is small, clean and basically utilitarian. You order at the counter, grab a table and wait for the pizza to be brought to you. They have a surprisingly large staff all working together to assemble the pies. Combine that with a super hot wood-fired oven and a very thin crust means the wait time from order to table is very fast. We had the mushroom, onion and sausage pizza. It had a great crunchy thin crust and the toppings added an excellent amalgam of taste, which we bumped up a notch with a healthy dose of red pepper flakes-infused olive oil. We rate it as one of the best pizzas in town and will definitely return.

This is a locals kind of place, off the usual tourist routes, in the Ballard section of town. It would be easy to drive past the unassuming outside, but it definately is worth the stop. My wife and I are both gluten free and really miss pizza. Most guten free pizza is just tasteless cardboard. Not here - this was the very best gluten free crust ever! Thin and cracker-like, it was delicious. Even though each pizza is made fresh to order, they come out really fast. They make a nice little salad too.

i don't even usually like sausage-type products, but this was sooooo good. smokey and slightly sweet and salty, on thin crispy crust with just the right balance of bitter greens and yummy gooey cheese. if it were the last pizza i ever eat i would be ok with that if i could get another slice.

Small Parking lot, good but very busy interior atmosphere, really nice friendly staff, and excellent Pizza. As its classic wood fired thin crust fare, best eaten immedately VS takeout, but good either way.

Really good, The first time! The crust was crispy thin, not too much sauce, we ordered the spicy Tony! The second time, impressed with the speed involved, ready in 20 minutes for pick up! But the crust was not as crispy. We will go back because we love pizza and hope the third time will be the charm that brings back the first pizza! Great tiramisu as well!

MAGNIFICENT! Wood fired pizza, excellent salads, fast, fresh, happy & friendly staff, great selection of beers on tap, excellent atmosphere whether you dine in (if you are lucky enough to get a seat & great karma parking) or walk up & take out!

perfect crust... the Chicken Pesto was amazing... next time in the Seattle area will definitely go back to try more on the menu

I get that there is a wood fired oven so the kitchen staff are probably sweating, but the seating area for customers was FREEZING. No one took their coat off when they came in, and some went to eat outside on that chilly evening because it was warmer. From the moment I walked in until the pizza was on the table: 55 minutes (early on a Wednesday evening). Was it worth it? YES. The pizza is GREAT. Will have it delivered to the house next time.
EXCELLENT Pizza
I have had the opportunity of eating Veraci twice while visiting Seattle (July 2010 and August 2011). Both times, the food was delicious and hit the spot! If you get a chance, stop by and get a pie - you won't be disappointed.
