Very thoughtful combination of food an music. They are both fantastic, but it comes at the price. Cocktails were excellent but expensive. Lobster Bolognese were perfect and worth 30 bucks a plate. I tried four dishes - fresh, high quality food. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming but cool at the same time. I really appreciated change of utensils after each course (which is not all that common for LA restaurants). This will definitely be part of my rotation in LA

Some unique dinner options all of food was very good the music and atmosphere were fantastic I’m not from the area but will go out of my way to come back As soon as. I can

We google searched the location and arrived at a non descript location with no signage. We entered a dimly located hall that had a type of synergy not experienced at a run of the mill restaurant. Sitting down, a vibe was experienced and the excitement and energy only grew. The food was exceptional, the service was superb, presentation for both food and drink was pleasing. The live music was enjoyable, not a piano hiding in the corner, a 3 piece band with rhythm front and centre. Three of us walked in, 2 were sceptical, one was curious; 3of us walked out, extremely pleased and satisfied with ultimate recommendations made to others the following day. Kudos to the owners, designers of theme etc. I highly recommend this fine dining location.

Verse is a great new place with an amazing bar, food, staff, decor and amazing vibe with a club sound system. The chef is awesome with refreshing we twists. Go there - everything is wonderful.

Finally!!!! The perfect restaurant in North Hollywood/Toluca Lake. With a mysterious V on the door..... behind it lies one of the most beautifully designed restaurants I’ve eaten at in years. Creative delicious menu, attentive and knowledgeable wait staff.... food is so amazing (chef extraordinary) art on point.... bar is gorgeous, music and sound YESSSSSS!!! Loved Verse!!

Smooth and cool- as it should be!! Excellent date night at Verse; while watching the amazing Keyon Harrold and his band. From the friendly greeting of the valet to the step in to the cool vibe of the venue-this is how it should be done!! Our server was wonderful and the food was excellent. Our Martini's were perfect- and we are picky about how they are prepared. We had Braised Lamb Pasta-very creative and I want it again, and the delicious Mushroom Linguini. For dessert we tried the Chocolate and Caramel was excellent. A table near us had the Cookies and Cream looked like another great dessert choice. We can't wait to return to this excellent venue.

I like it. We went in savings, life is expensive. But it was all amazing. Food, service, music, space, environment. The best that could exist. At the end we asked an Uber to go home. If I had a car, I'd park the door. There was a guy there to park the car. I loved it. Today I'll enjoy thinking about it
Annoyingly Invisible
This is a lovely restaurant but it bears reporting that there is NO signage on this restaurant. When you drive to the address listed on the totally blank square building, the only sign is for a chiropractic service. We arrived before the restaurant opened and drove around the block several times before encountering a man with a V on his clothes in the alley. He directed us to the front of the building where he set up a Valet stand (that's what the V was for) in front. It's easy to park on the street, but without the valet stand, we would never have found it.
