Beautiful hotel bar

By Shasta E |

Had a nice experience at Vesper Bar in the Cosmopolitan. the bartenders were very friendly and seem to understand what service is all about. Knowing that we were tourists, they volunteered to help us take photos once they finished mixing up our drinks. Great atmosphere

The best drinks 🍷 In Vegas

By Claudya P |

We were staying at the Cosmopolitan at this time in Vegas ! This bar is located on the first floor at one of the Casino entrances ! There is a huge selection of drinks and nice people arround ! Worth to visit !

Birthday Celebration

By Gary H |

Bond! James Bond. As in Casino Royal - 3 parts gin, 1 part vodka, 1/2 part Lillet Blanc, plus a lemon peel. Don’t drive. An original cocktail, well done.

Fantastic Mixologists

By spunge411 |

The Vesper Bar is located near the check in counter at The Cosmopolitan Hotel. The look is James Bond chic. The bartenders here are among the most knowelagable I've ever met. I wanted a Spicy Caipirinha. Brandon not only experimented and tasted until he got it right, we were also told of other Caipirinha brands, where they came from, why they were unique, and how each was made... and gave a taste so we would know the difference. This is always above and beyond, making sure the customer has a fantastic time. These guys know their drinks! Thanks Brandon!!

Comfortable spot for a drink!

By DennisG50 |

It is in the lobby of the Cosmopolitan Hotel but not as crazy busy as some of the others. Sit at the bar or at a table and enjoy some creative mixes or one of your favorites. Nice service. Enjoyable.

Vesper bar

Nice bar inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel. They do have secret menu so make sure to ask for the black light!! The bar itself is one of least busy in the hotel

Pretty lobby bar with a unique cocktail menu

By Tabitha F |

This is a great place to stop for one last drink before heading up to your room for the night (you can even take it up with you if you prefer). Our server was very pleasant and efficient and the drinks were very good.

A nice casino bar on the main walkway of the Cosmopolitan

By Troy H |

Going for the Daniel Craig 'James Bond' theme. Sort of like the bar in Casino Royale. Some good photo ops. Nothing extraordinary, but an easy place to get a drink at just about anytime of the day.

Beautiful bar

By Appa22 |

This is a very classy beautifully designed bar. The drinks here are great lots of choice and fab cocktails! Lovely relaxing place to sit on a night!

The best Drinks & Ice cubes!

By stevieblv |

The drone BL's are always hand crafted.... super fantastic... I had a great vodka and lemonade type drink... to my spec's.. the best.. Also they have the "cold craft ice cubes" make's a huge difference! The best drink in town...

Creative Drinks!

By KCPlaza |

If you like cocktails, this is the place to go on the strip. The selection is wild, creative and delicious. The staff is very good too. Be prepared to spend lots of money - Drinks are $16+.

Very Expensive Bar

By Mester |

This bar was so expensive. $20 for a half a glass of white wine. Disgusting! the staff were very slow to serve as well. Too busy socializing on the i phones etc.

Good Cocktails

By LondonUKTraveller101 |

The bar provided a great place to meet and discuss work while providing great drinks. Prices are as you would expect in a top end hotel.

Fantastic cocktails and bartenders!

By SaraE |

My boyfriend and I found this place and were excited to go since it is known for it's hand crafted cocktails. We were warmly greeted by Roger who went out of his way to make our experience wonderful! We tried a couple of drinks on the menu and when I asked if they could make something special, they not only obliged, but gave us the background of the liquors used and how the flavor profiles went well together. There are 2 Rogers who work there. Both are award winning and surely know a thing or two about making a great cocktail! Strongly suggest a stop here if you are a cocktail lover!

Nice selection, including the original Vesper Martini!

By George P |

Nice selection of hand crafted cocktails and beer, in the center of the Cosmopolitan Casino and Lobby. You can sit close to the hustle and bustle, or find a more secluded spot. The Vesper Martini is very good, even if you are not a Martini drinker!

Best Cocktail Ever

By Brenda D |

You must have at least 1 cocktail in the Vesper BAR. Cool vibe for a younger crowd but the Corpse Bride with the sphere of absinthe is the ultimate cocktail! I just hope it's still on the menu when I get back. Tastes delicious plus relaxation from the absinthe =A plus.

Mixologist at their best!

By bond502015 |

Ask your server to have the mixologist (bartender) make you a drink, they will get some details on what alcohol, sour or sweetness you prefer and bring you back a great tasting surprise. They brought back a version of a Moscow Mule that was worth asking for the ingredients for. The lounge is a great place to sit and chat with a friend while sipping on that cocktail!

Nice bar

By Jason R |

Stopped in for a drink. Server was quick and attentive. Drink menu was not large, but had a great selection. Comfortable couches and seating. Good spot for a pause in your day.

Cool setting and good drinks

By tcamp0000 |

Really cool video wall setting with what appears to be live naked people inside the walls. ( They're not live!) Fun selection of Bond drinks. Nice service

Great spot.

By flipper0211 |

The Vesper bar is more than just a hotel lobby bar, its a great spot to start and finish your vegas experience. The service was excellent, the server and bar tender was engaging and genuinely courteous. Made the experience more memorable and made us go back for an adult beverage throughout our stay. The ambiance is modern and very chic. The different seating configuration and locations allows any individual or small group to have some privacy and seclusion as well still be a part of the bar. The drinks are very good, the prices are fair. Really had a great experience every time.

The best drink ever again!

By stevieblv |

What a great hand crafted drink, fresh ingredients... Some crazy ice cubes! Fantastic bartender, they are pros, if you want a drink and don't try the Vesper Bar you missed out! Go to Cosmo and try it!

Ok bar, with service lacking

By jordansbulls |

Went to the Vesper Bar at the Cosmopolitan today and got the Hanky Panky drink which is Gin, Sweet Vermouth and Fernet Branca. While the drink was decent the service was lacking.

Lovely hotel

By MissSAE |

We had a few rounds here on a late night. It's expensive but that's to be expected at the Cosmopolitan. Good, strong cocktails and good service.

Best real bar in Las Vegas.

By Jim M |

Vesper is located within the Cosmopolitan resort. We chose this bar the first time because it had no video games at the counter. The bartenders know how to tend bar. The atmosphere is typical Vegas. the people watching good. I can't say enough about how great this place is. If you want a good drink at a fair price, go to Vesper.

Mind boggling drinks

By Darrell R |

All of the drinks on the menu look and sound interesting but the real fun is giving your bartender 3 descriptors of what you want in a drink and letting him/her create something. My partner said she wanted something 'sultry' and that is exactly what she got - it looked harmless and yellow but had a dark, dark sultry aspect. He told us what he used but we had never heard of most of the ingredients but...it didn't matter. Mine was a mysterious bourbon based affair that was deep and thoughtful - I'd never tasted anything like it before. Expensive? I suppose - it's in the trendy Cosmopolitan. Lovely decor and the bar is basically in an open area and not in a "bar setting" if you know what I mean. Definitely worth the visit. The bartenders are smart and friendly, too, which helps.

Pre departure drinjs

By Jennyc1965 |

Based in the Cosmopolitan Hotel, We checked out and popped into Vesper for a farewell to Vegas drink in this bar we had walked past so many times. I had a “flat” Rose which just about passed the 3 sips test. It was a comfy bar and Cody certainly knew his cocktails! Again people were smoking but in the casino, which was right next door, anything is allowed. I would go back, it’s a nice bar to sit at and great for people watching, and more low key than the Chandelier lounge.

Great little bar and they make my favorite cocktail

By Christine D |

Friendly bar staff who were happy to make a cocktail no longer on their menu (but still currently on their website), as they had a list of recipes in their cupboard. I'm glad they looked it up because its become my new favorite cocktail "Aloha means Goodbye" - delish! I ended up going there everyday for 'my fix' during our 7 day stay. I tried their Mai Tai as well, because that's usually my favorite but unfortunately I was spoilt in Honolulu where I have tasted the most perfect version of that, so this one let me down. Thankfully the first bar tender on day one made the effort to find the recipe, because every visit thereafter I was able to instruct each different bar tender where to find it. Overall, great atmosphere and friendly staff - plenty of seats available but we usually went between 2 - 6pm, so not sure how busy it gets later on.

You cant get a bad drink if you tried.

By TML1995 |

I like that all the bartenders are friendly. Most of them are award winning bartenders. The cocktail menu is fun. You have to be patient with the bartenders because its more than a redbull and vodka kind of place. It's a mixologist type bar with fresh ingredients and unique spirits. Pull up a chair and enjoy a drink made by a skilled bartender.

Great place in the Cosmo to grab a drink. Out of the main gambling room. Very nice and great service. Intimate and great seating. Must see to relax in the Casino.

Great concept & fantastic people watching

By Selena D |

This is one of our favorite Las Vegas bars. Located in the lobby of the Cosmopolitan hotel, the people watching is fantastic. The drink concept is old fashioned cocktails and then a "modern" spin on the same drink. Working our way through the menu has been a great adventure.

Nice Meeting Spot

By Annacanna_70 |

I really liked this little lobby bar. Even though it is located in the busy Cosmopolitan lobby, there is nice seating that feels a little tucked away. A great place to meet a friend. So sparkly but classy at the same time. Everything on the strip is pricey, and this is no exception. My expensive glass of wine was delicious, so not a terrible value. I liked it much better - in both service and ambiance - than the Chandelier Bar down the hall. I am not a casino person, so others may feel the opposite about the setting.

Poor Service and Policy

By 175andyc99 |

On 1st October 2013 I arranged a James Bond themed night for my sons 21st. His real name is Daniel CRAIG. We went to a fantastic James Bond themed steak house called Del Frisco’s and had a wonderful meal. Please read review I have left about this restaurant as I would definitely recommend it. After that I had read a review about Vespa's Bar in The Continental Hotel where you can order the cocktail from the original James Bond Casino Royal Film. 16 guests travelled to the bar and we found an area to sit down. The waitress came over and I ordered 16 Vespa Cocktails. The waitress asked if everyone had ID. I said they all had and I produced my photo driving licence. I am 46. She told me that a British Driving Licence is not sufficient ID in Vegas. I told her that it had been accepted in every bar and Casino and as far as I was aware it had to be government authorised ID. This put her on the back foot so she agreed to accept it. The group all then showed their driving licences some British some Canadian. She came to my wife who is 47, who did not have hers. She told her she could not serve her. My wife said fine she would have a diet coke, The waitress then told us she could not serve any of the group as we did not all have ID. I said fine and told the group to go back the MGM Grand and excellent hotel and I asked to speak to the manager of the bar. After waiting 5 minutes he could not be found by the waitress. As I was leaving the waitress had clearly called security who flanked me as I walked out. The Cosmopolitan clearly have other ideas when it comes to service as the rest of Las Vegas. If your not American do not visit this hotel.

Terrible Service

By Michaelplusthree |

Went to the Vesper Bar for drinks with about seven people on Saturday early evening, Unfortunately, the bartenders that night were terrible and couldn't care less that they had customers waiting for drinks. It was not busy, yet the bar tenders were too occupied chatting amongst themselves and dealing with paper work instead of attending to their customers. We waited about 15 minutes before a bar tender asked what we wanted. We like the Cosmopolitan, stay, eat, drink and gamble there regularly, and otherwise had a fun time there this weekend, but this was a black eye on the hotel.

Hidden bar near cosmo registration

By lisamd11 |

Located inside the cosmo, this little bar is a cute hang to meet up with friends. Wait staff has always been friendly and attentive, allowing us to sit and meet colleagues. Comfy chairs, cute bar, quieter alternative and not as decorated compared to the chandelier bar.

Favorite Bar in Las Vegas

By BluesMan🎸 |

The service is top notch and the drinks are really good! Good place to just sit and relax between gambling. They have a simple breakfast menu and a light food menu.

Really good Craft Drinks!

By SteelCity13 |

The bar is in Cosmo hotel so expect Vegas strip prices however the bartenders here are amazing the drinks (even though they are pricey) are delicious! If you want to just have a drink or two this would be a great place to relax and enjoy a wonderfully crafted cocktail!

Lobby bar open 24 hours in cosmopolitan.

By swk1000 |

Mostly useful for the 24 hours, service is decent, no music, and has the standard vegas strip prices for cocktails of 18$ per.

Amazing Drinks!

By Mitchell F |

This bar was recommended to me by a close friend and resident of Las Vegas as a great place to get a great drink, and the recommendation did not disappoint. The Vesper Bar has a great number of very interesting, specialty cocktails as well as a solid lineup of classic drinks. Almost a month later, my friend is STILL raving about the Sazerac and the Old Fashioned he had there; they were both just that amazing. I tried the Wabi-Sabi and the Petting Party. Both were flavorful, inventive, and truly enjoyable to sip and consume. The location of the bar itself is somewhat in a corner of the first (lobby) floor of the Chelsea tower. What is great about this location is the people-watching experience. As parties arrive at the main drop-off point for taxies, shuttles, and car services, they proceed right past this bar to reach the main casino and other areas of the hotel, and as they exit those same areas, they typically walk the reverse direction...right past this bar. Almost as good as any Cirque show (costumes and actors minus the acrobatics), watching the bachelor/ette and bridal parties go back and forth is very entertaining. This is probably one of the liveliest, non-casino spots in the whole hotel. If people-watching is your thing, this is certainly a great place to do it...and have amazing drinks in the process!

Fun lobby bar

By FM6565 |

Probably the most convenient place for an appointment in the entire Cosmopolitan. Best cocktails of the resort, manageable crowd and good for people watching.

Great place to meet for a drink and plan your evening

By scottgillanders |

If you can land the couches under the escalator, you will feel VIP - typically lobby bar, but great service from Jeff and the other staff. They do know how to make a French martini - not the best ever but didn't have to explain. Loud due to proximity to reception and elevator bank for west tower, but fun - don't forget Chandelier is on the other side of the casino for more intimate seating

Julian was the best. bartender. ever.

By thecheshirechap |

I stay at the Cosmopolitan a lot. The girlfriend and I bumped into Julian after some fun at the tables. He discussed his competitive bartending abilities, made us some incredible drinks we've never heard of or seen before, and the dude was really friendly. I've had a dozen bartenders at Vesper, and a hundred in Vegas, and this guy was the best. I gave him a five hour energy, asked him to "Make this drink-able", and in four minutes had a tasty mix of fruit and booze that made the terrible, terrible five hour flavor disappear. Drinks with burning Drambuie. Drinks with black pepper. Sit down and trust this guy's judgement.

Worth a stop!

By Hawkeyetravelers |

We stopped for our traditional "leaving Vegas" drinks. This was our first time at Vesper Bar. We both did the dealer's choice. The bartender asks three questions about your tastes and then mixes a drink for you. These drinks were really good. Just watching him mix them was a show in itself!

Love it!!!!

By Jess N |

The bartenders are very chill and friendly. The drinks aren't as expensive as some other bars in Las Vegas. About $16 a drink. I have paid $20-$30 on a OK drink before in Vegas. These drinks are great tasting. You are paying for the quality and a fun different type of drink. The lounge is small and right next to elevators and bathrooms. It's a little loud and not as cozy as I thought it would be. BUT....the drinks are great. So take a drink to go and enjoy!

Good for one Drink or Two

By Juan M |

Located at the Lobby of the Cosmopolitan Hotel is this Bar. Good place too meet before going out for a Drink or Two. But as Bugs Boney said "thats all folks"

Roped off a section for my company's meet & greet

By kjt96 |

This worked out well for us, open area roped off for us, plenty of seating, attentive and fast bartenders, great hors d'houvres passed by cute servers, etc.

Stop In...

By JaKi127 |

We stopped in for drinks while waiting to meet up with friends for dinner. The staff was great, created drinks for us based on what we told them we liked... Delish!

Super pretty

By F S |

This bar is super pretty. It is located just inside the Cosmopolitan hotel entrance, but yet manages to remain relaxed. Service is good, nice drinks. Would recommend a visit!

Bellagio Staple

By Blondedawg |

Been hitting the bar for years...service is outstanding and the bar appetizers were terrific. We tried the edamame hummus and cheese selection.

Love this spot

By RPMCanes |

This is probably the best spot to grab a drink at Cosmo, and certainly affords the best people watching. LaToya is such a fantastic waitress! Just a side note for the guys, if you go here solo, chances are pretty good that you will be propositioned by a lady of the night. :)

Always Busy

By wisgirl01 |

This seemed to be our meeting spot during our stay for a conference. It is centrally located in the Cosmo, and was always busy. The cocktails were great, but I'm disappointed I didn't know about the Vesper Martini beforehand, would have loved to try it. Guess I will have to pay another visit!

Had fraud charges on my card

By M S |

Beware, and check your card after a week. I was charged for something I did not have!!! Have opened a case through my card, as well as the hotel...

Great cocktails!

By Jessa182 |

Service was great and the bartenders are super friendly and cool. The drinks were amazing! I highly recommend stopping by for a drink or two. Order from the menu.. or not feeling the menu? Let the bartenders make something especially for you! Great atmosphere.

This bar is in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It is a great place to relax with a few drinks. It is also great for people watching. A fun place!

Relaxed bar, with good drinks

By Liz N |

Love the decor, atmosphere, and plenty of seating. Chairs were comfortable and clean. Vesper Bar rotates their menu every three months or so, but a friend of ours recommended the Gin Fizz Ramos. It was delicious and fun to see how the bartender makes the drink! My husband got a drink called The Streaker, if I recall correctly, and he really liked it. It's located near the lobby, which allows for interesting and fun people watching.

Cocktail Magic

By Sam P |

Vesper Bar is a modern chic bar that creates some amazing cocktails. Drinks are reasonably priced at $15-$25 per, which is not bad seeing as drinks are the main attraction. The creativeness and flavors are pretty wild and tasty. We actually had drinks there every night before dinner. Its a great spot to socialize with your group or to pre-party before Marquee.

Good stop after walking by the Bellagio fountains

By Tracey S |

In prime evening hours (let's say after 10pm) this bar has less decibels blasting than most bars. It has plenty of ambiance but no view to speak of. It does have a lot of specially crafted cocktails and is just a nice place to unwind. If you want more of the blaring party vibe then just cross the casino to Bond which does have a view of people about on the strip. We encountered a pleasant staff at each location.

Ideal for Meetings

By Abdulmoez Tahmaz |

Their branch in Cosmopolitan hotel was my favorite place for all my business meetings during our conference. Their staff is so friendly and professional. The atmosphere is very nice and joyful

Let down by bad service!

By Adam W |

Been here twice and have to say the cocktails were great. The first time we went we had excellent service, the waitress told us how the cocktails were made and told us if we weren't keen on them to inform her, was very polite. Went again the following evening and was served by a different waitress who was disinterested when we were ordering (she was looking the other way). We also had a cigarette end on the table which wasn't cleaned up and it was obvious that the waitress saw it. After being bluntly informed that one of the cocktails wasn't available we reordered and then was told the price and asked to pay now.. And they waitress still expected a tip. Didn't really feel relaxed the second time, shame because they are good cocktails.

Stopped for a drink while we waited

By Travelin_Hebbs |

We were waiting on the cleaning staff to finish up our room so we stopped by the Vesper to grab a drink and relax. Went with a Long Island iced tea and wasn’t disappointed! If the drink menu doesn’t appeal to you, this is a good drink to settle on! The atmosphere alone is awesome.

Timothy was a great bartender!

By ShuGirl6 |

Stunning decor, great for people watching located in the lobby area near the elevators... Incredible mirrors everywhere barstools are even silver!

Best Bar We Found

By ashle4 |

We loved the Vesper Bar and even though it was a bit of a hike from where we stayed, went back a couple times. We liked the fact that though smoking is allowed, it isn't sitting in the middle of the casino with all the second hand smoke hanging in the air. Most important, we appreciated the bartenders. All were helpful, but we particularly came to appreciate Jennifer and Cody. They are passionate in making a perfect cocktail, and spent time with us discussing fine spirits and their distinctions. I'm not sure having this listed as a restaurant is accurate. We didn't see any food nearby, nor anything listed on the menu. They don't even offer peanuts or other snacks, but rather point to a nearby convenience store. We sauntered over and picked up a bag of peanuts. Not a big deal, but still seems a bit out of place for a high end bar like this not to offer snacks. In conclusion, if you would like a nice quiet little bar with outstanding cocktails and spirits, lovingly made by great bartenders, this is the place.

Cocktail perfection

By John S |

I ordered my standard drink, an old fashioned. This is a great drink that many poorly trained casino floor bartenders screw up by muddling oranges and using soda water. Well, Vesper does none of that. They make it the classic way. One huge ice cube, a top shelf bourbon, some simple syrup and just the right amount of bitters. Perfect. My wife ordered a fu fu drink and hers was excellent. Very creative. I even liked it, though a bit sweet for my taste. Cost was Vegas normal, $16-17. Give it a shot if you like your cocktails creative or classic.

Drinks

Paying for drinks in a city that serves you free drinks while gaming seems crazy to me...but the service, people watching, and manhattans at the vesper bar all fantastic!

This is the place for cocktail connoisseurs

By caz141 |

The Cosmo boasts the striking setting of the Chandelier Lounge and the fun vibe of Bond bar, but it is at the Vesper Bar where the mixologists hone their skills. Cocktails are strong and unique and the bar has a chilled and sophisticated vibe. It is situated right off the reception lobby and near the guests’ elevators, yet still manages to have a relaxing lounge atmosphere. Prices on a par with the rest of the Cosmo bars (around £12 for a cocktail I think). Good spot to chill out with a well-crafted libation!!

2 thumbs up

By TyGB |

My sidecar was perfect and the vibe/ambience is always awesome. I can't wait to revisit this Spring.

Classy night cap!

By Dakota |

I go to the Cosmopolitan every time I'm in Vegas because I love their bars and decor so much. Somehow this was the only bar open when we were walking around the hotel in the late night hours and it was a great find! The cocktails are awesome & everything is a riff on James Bond. We had a great time talking to our bartender and have been back since the first time. Highly recommend!

A great place to take in the late night scene

By AjoPirata |

We stumbled across this lounge and found it absolutely awesome in that the drinks were good, you could hear one another and there was always action coming an going in front of the bar. Located in the Cosmopolitan located in behind the casino.

Cool vibe

By NJmomof3kids |

Went here for a quick drink based upon trip advisor reviews. Cool vibe. We were not staying at the cosmopolitan so we would have never discovered this on our own. From the bar you can see the hotel check in. Very cool pillars with screens of ever changing pictures. Fun to people watch.

Make sure that Gina takes care of you!

By Mikeshy |

This is a great bar located in the lobby of the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It sits along side a busy walkway and is great for people watching. We were lucky to have Gina as our cocktail server. She is a real asset to the organization. She is charming, bright and friendly, as well as very competent. We spent 2 1/2 hours visiting with family and drinking. We never felt rushed and Gina was always available to handle our needs. She made an enjoyable evening, even more enjoyable. Thanks, Gina!

great cocktail away from casino noise/lights

By nlgenxer |

I am not a fan of bars where you can see or hear slot machines. This one has a nice elegant decor, and even though it's near the lobby of the Cosmopolitan Hotel/Casino, there are quite a few seating options that do not overlook the casino floor. The service was decent, and my cocktail was excellent. I had the "Aloha Means Goodbye", a spin-off of the Mai Tai: Coconut Pandan Vodka, Velvet Falernum, Lime Juice, Pistachio Orgeat Coconut Cream, Thai Chili, Ginger Beer. The cocktail menu was interesting, with traditional cocktails printed alongside the bar's original take on that cocktail. The bar's versions were intriguing, and the pairings with the traditional versions made it easy to identify which original versions might be to your liking. I'll come back to this bar again, next time I'm on the Strip and have a thirst to quench.

Great for people watching!

By Catglack |

Located in the lobby of the cosmopolitan hotel, right beside check in. It's the first bar you meet as you get out of the lifts each morning (hence where a lot of early risers end up.) plenty of Cocktails to choose from or your usual beers/spirits. I loved sitting here watching everyone go by,hotel guests and tourists.

Mixology At It's Best

By bobpioneer |

This is a classy bar located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. It was late and we were staying across the street at the Planet Hollywood and my daughter said we had to check-out the Vesper Bar. What a great suggestion it was. The bartenders are friendly and extremely knowledgeable on mixing all types of cocktails. This place pays true attention to detail when mixing cocktails. They even use eye droppers, adding flavors to arrive at that perfect drink. If you taste the drink and it is not to your taste, they will make it right by either fixing it or making it again. We had a lot of fun watching them making all kinds of cocktails. The bar provides a very comfortable atmosphere and I would highly recommend stopping by for a drink. The place is fairly expensive, but what isn't on the Las Vegas strip. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

Good Place for Quick Meetings

Located in Cosmopolitan hotel in the lobby area. We always went there couple of times daily for the guys to smoke there.

Order Up at this Destination Bar

By Portena-by-Marriage |

Vesper Bar is the place to go, if you want to understand what the fuss is all about surrounding a well-crafted cocktail. The menu has classics and their modern versions. It takes a bit of time to blend the ingredients, many custom infused, but it is worth the wait. Sit back, relax, chat, and once you get your cocktail, sip & enjoy. I have had (hate to admit this) almost all of the drinks, and must admit that each was worth ordering. That makes it really hard to make a decision when returning. The other problem is that once you drink at Vesper Bar, your favorite watering hole becomes just that...a hole. So get ready to get spoiled and order up!

The Best Place to People Watch or to be Watched ;)

By Daniel Lawson |

One of my favorite low key-ish yet high brow bars within the Cosmopolitan. Great place to grab a few drinks with friends, crack jokes with the ever entertaining bartenders, and pull some double takes. It's a fun bar and also a great spot to watch those checking in/out, walking to/from the casino floor after victory/defeat, and even catch some model-esque women and men. It's really just an overall blast of a fun spot.

Fun night out

By Groupeventplanner |

I thought my husband was telling me this was a "Vespa" bar and I didn't figure out until I asked where the display scoots where...oops. Had a laugh. We walked all over The Cosmopolitan looking for a good spot for a hand craft cocktail with a relaxing vibe. This was the best, although it was super busy and our server was lacking. We sat in one of the plush round sofas for at least 15 minutes and she never even acknowledged us. Eventually husband and I just got up and ordered directly from the bartender, who was prompt and efficient. By sitting in chairs near the walkway, we spent an easy hour watching the crowd go by. Our drinks were well made. Cool menu with traditional drinks and inspired drinks. Very casual, not pretentious.

Real Drinks, not Free Drinks

By Elizabeth R |

I can't stomach the free drinks passed around like water in Vegas - gross. So if you're looking for the best - head to Vesper Bar. As a cocktail nerd, it was heaven. We were there in the middle of the day, so it was awesome to be able to actually chat with Julian the bartender. He whipped up special drinks for us that blew me away and made our afternoon unforgettable.

Good Place to Hang without the big Club Crowd

By 878drew |

We didn't feel like getting in line and go for a crowded club one night, so opted to chill at the Vesper. They had a DJ spinning and we were able to sit comfortably at a table with out having to pay for "bottle service" and just order a couple of cocktails from our waitress. It was a nice way to just chill without the club crowd with a special someone.

Disappointing

By PrincessMFT |

We popped into this bar late after dinner and a show. Had to look for it as the hotel site made it out look as if it was a quiet out of the way bar and we didn't realise it was basically the lobby bar which was anything but a quiet. Drinks were overpriced and they didn't even offer bar snacks such as nuts or pretzels, had to go to the gift shop and pay $8 for a packet of chips to go with our not very tasty martinis.

Nice Bar With Expensive Drinks and More

By JohnB00007 |

We came here twice on our recent Las Vegas trip. Our drinks were expensive but excellent. For 2 drinks (one vodka and seven up and one Vesper) we paid about $30 before tip. The liquor was top shelf (I think Kettle One for the vodka). I also tried the Vesper which looks sort of like a martini (not sure exactly what is in here). It was delicious. This place is also beautiful. Now for the interesting part. Like many of the upscale bars in Las Vegas this bar is filled with female "entertainment directors". They are usually subtle but all around. We saw at least 5 or 6 over the 2 nights we were there. So guys when that beautiful women you just met smiles at you she is looking for work. Since we did not hire any I can't tell you what they charge for their services. We just go there for the excellent drinks.

I stopped into the Vesper bar at lunchtime on my way to get a cab to the airport on leaving Las Vegas. On ordering the signature drink, I was delighted to find a perfectly made "James Bond" Vesper. As the place was not busy I was able to discuss the merits of various cocktails with the excellent bar tender, who was more than happy to educate me. Totally loved this place, ended up spending 2 hours here instead of 30 minutes. Drop in and try a Vesper, you won't be disappointed.

Great cocktails and people watching in the Cosmopolitan

By Bacinac |

Nice cocktail bar allowing cigar smoking. Super location to gather up your group or just lounge around people watching. Well crafted cocktails. My friend likes the “Airmail”. I like the sazerac. Both are great-especially with a cigar.

Cool place for drinks

By RemsterAZ |

Great location. They make a great Aperol Spritz too. the vibe in the Cosmo is by far the nicest in town in my opinion.

Loved Atmosphere & Bartenders

Jamie and Julian were outstanding mixologists and treated me like a valued regular. The people were beautiful, of course. The drinks are pricey but you're paying for the groove of the Cosmopolitan hotel. Great time!!!

Excellent Specialty Drinks

By bcmike |

The Vesper bar is one of my standard go to places on the Las Vegas Strip. I've never had a drink there I didn't like. I usually don't order off the menu but will ask the bartender to craft something specifically for me. They'll ask what sort of alcohol I like and then create something or they'll know of a drink that meets the needs. The drinks usually do range between $15-$20 but it's reasonable considering the amount of work that goes into them and the top shelf alcohol they use. I recommend the Corpse Reviver 2. It's no longer on the menu but they'll still make it for you if you ask nicely. I do miss the ice balls of absinthe they used to include in some drinks but no longer offer.

Took 15 minutes to get bartenders attention

By abmarketingmadam |

Just wanted a sangria - $16 - what's a girl to do to get some attention at the bar? Seriously, they were all taking their sweet time doing whatever else...

Can't say much more than this....

Great bar with knowledgeable bartenders and a great atmosphere. Great selection of spirits that anyone can enjoy; let the bartenders know what you like and they'll take care of you.

Not bad at all

By mobeverton |

Good waitress service and cocktails were decent too. Close to lobby so makes as a better meeting point than Chandelier

Interesting drink menu - or create your own!

By 16jess |

The mixologists have created an extensive menu of new versions of classic cocktails. I chose to have them make me a custom cocktail. Picked my liquor of choice and gave them a few descriptors. Hit it out of the park! One of the most delicious cocktails I've ever had!

Nice Cocktails.. slick looking bar

By David R |

This was a nice place to have a cocktail while waiting for the Opium show. This bar has a cool vibe and the drink menu of "Classic and Revised" cocktails is fun. Latoya was a Total rockstar of a server!!

GORGEOUS! Great start to the trip.

By Mylez Edward |

Vesper is always the first stop at the Cosmo. Friendly bartenders, good drinks, great kick off for the trip!

Nice chilled out bar

By the_cueball |

It does tend to get a bit busy and smokey at the weekends and if there is a conference in the hotel, but other than that, sit back, relax with a cosmo in the Cosmo and watch all the people go by....

Just OK

By Susan J |

If staying at this hotel or in its casinos, a convenient option. Nothing special. But pleasant nonetheless.

This is where you people watch

By arash1111 |

Grab a drink and watch all the beautiful people walk by, talk to them, invite them over for a drink, definitely the best people watching place in the casino, watch out for the "working girls"

Shaken, Not Stirred....

By tombri1 |

On our walk through the Cosmo, we saw this bar and had to stop and get a Vesper martini. The bartender took his time with each element of the drink, proving that craftsmanship is key here. And, it was certainly worth the wait! Was it strong? Yes. Did we need more than the one drink here? No. Would we go back? Without hesitation.

Good company

By Nikki T |

Great craft cocktails and the bartenders are very entertaining. Right in the lobby of the Cosmopolitan, so you know it's very chic.

Bartenders know how to make a proper drink!

By Kristin H |

This is always my first stop at Cosmopolitan - even before checking in! The bartenders are so friendly and really know how to make a great drink. Try giving them an ingredient you like and see what they come up with. It's great to grab a drink if there's a line for check-in.

Detailed Cocktails

By WhateverLolaLoves |

Went to check out the Vesper Bar because we heard so much about the drinks. Every single drink on the specialty cocktail list is made with detail and is precise. My drink took about 5 minutes to make because there was so much exactness to it. My only notes would be a curiosity of the wait time during heavy traffic hours. It was fairly empty when we went but we still had to wait about 15 mins for a drink because of the length it takes to create. Additionally, the lounge is in the middle of their resort walkway and near one of the entrances where the valet/cabs/etc. depart/arrive. It’s just completely open space and there are people walking around the casino/resort getting from point A to point B so it takes away from the ambiance and classy design.

Cool Place, Great atmosphere

By Iowaguy288 |

This bar has a great up-scale atmosphere. The drinks were good and the bartenders were pleasant. Great location right next to the lobby in the Cosmo. Great place to grab a drink

Good vibe.

By owlbeonholiday |

Great vibe at this bar. Chilled and not busy when we stopped by. Friendly welcome and quick bar service. Didn't feel rushed. Nice and dark. Cocktails were good but not amazing. Felt a bit overpriced for what we had but we are not used to Vegas casino prices.

Great place for drinks!

By Marcy B |

We stopped in here for a couple of cocktails before going to dinner. The bartending staff was fantastic! My husband and I both had Old Fashioned's. It's really hard to find places that do that well. They really know their stuff here. I prefer rum in mine and while they weren't expecting that request, they helped me select a great dark rum & mixed a fantastic drink. We'd definitely return.

Unbelievable Craft Cocktails

By Todd S |

This casino bar is a bit deceiving. Without prior research (thanks to the wifey) we would have just thought this casino bar inside Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino was just another lounge bar. But this place is known for their craft cocktails. And I'm not talking gin and tonics. The bartenders are like chemists, mixing up concoctions that are unbelievable. I had a smoky lemony cocktail that the bartender just made up two days prior and it was tasty. They spend about five minutes per drink mixing up the perfect concoction. They are not cheap either. Ours were $15 to $18 each. I highly recommend.

Brilliant hangout

By ecallaghan |

Lovely waiting staff make this a great place to people watch. Late night is best and its hilarious to watch potential punters be approached with security bustling around as much as possible..Nice wine list and good cocktails inc a great Moscow Mule

Do you like people watching?

By 9pays3to2 |

Then this is the place to do it. In addition to mixing mean cocktails, the people watching is some of the best on the Strip.

Awesome mixology bar

By Brix510 |

Great drinks, but pricey but damn good tasting. The bartenders are very sharp, take their time but aren't too slow and the lounge itself is very chill and modern looking. Close to the gaming floor and close to Club Marquee - perfect place to hangout before clubbing or during the afternoon away from the heat.

Great Mixologists, but beware of the prices

By v2schneider |

We've been to this bar twice and enjoyed the cocktails that the bartenders came up with, after they ascertained our drink preferences. First bartender was brilliant. Second one was okay, but still made great drinks. Be careful though, 3 drinks cost us $54.00

Great bartender

By Ed H |

Had an excellent Vesper martini here, bartenders very nice and friendly. Great attention to cocktails, friendly, and well an enjoyable place to visit.

Stunning decor very sparkly

By ShuGirl6 |

Great for people watching! Every bartender is amazing and extremely talented! Barstools are cute but the seat is short and I'm tiny.

Smart, Sophisticated, Fun, That's Vesper at Cosmopolitan

By DeniseReviews |

Dress up, sit at the bar, request a Vesper - really! Think James Bond, 'Casino Royale (2006).' “Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel." Oh, man - THEY MAKE THIS COCKTAIL, and IT'S GREAT! We were there on biz. The bar and wait staff are super intelligent, friendly, conversant, razor sharp pros at the top of their game. Sitting at the bar, and being cared for was an excellent way to wind down at the end of working a heavy-duty conference day. When in Vegas we go out of our way to be served by the Vesper Bar pros at Cosmopolitan, and you should, too.

Photos added. Fun place to grab a cocktail

Located in the Cosmo on the Strip. This bar is a great place to "people watch" and have a cocktail. Very friendly bartenders. I added photos.

One of the top cocktail bars in the world

By OdinCalifornia |

Vesper Bar serves amazing and innovative cocktails. As mixology enthusiast, it's a must stop for me every time I go to Vegas. Their cocktail menu consists of a classic drinks paired with a Vesper re-imaginings. The re-imagining are where I focus. Over my many visits, Vesper has never failed to impress. There's something magical about a place that's both world class and unassuming. To the uninitiated, Vesper looks like a just another casino bar. Located just off check-in, it's location is unassuming as well. But take a closer look and you'll see a collection of unusual spirits and house made syrups. Every cocktail on the menu is top quality and made with care. My favorite drinks have the been the ones where the have flavored ice spheres as they are the most unusual. The atmosphere is swanky, quiet and relaxed. It's perfect for enjoying finely crafted cocktails. I have to shake my head when people order a beer here. The Vesper staff will cheerfully serve beer but it's a waste not to enjoy mixology at it's finest. It's rare to see a place so focused on quality, especially on the Las Vegas strip which tends to serve up homogenized experiences. My hat is off to those who had the vision to create the Vesper Bar and the mixologists who serve up fantastic drinks.

Cool place to chill out for a second.

By Breanna O |

The bartender AJ here is wicked cool, and takes great care of the people who come here. I wouldn't recommend drinking all day here, because it can get pricey, but it's a neat place to stop off and people watch. Comfy seating!

Sip back and watch the (crazy) world go by....

By MrsRMore |

This bar is so well placed for people watching, we lost hours here. Perfectly situated near the west tower elevators Vesper is a great place for a drink before dinner or even better for a nightcap. The cocktails are delicious, and delivered efficiently to your table. This bar is stylish and sexy. There was not much we didn't see happening here!

Went here after wedding been hooked since

By Sasha g |

We went here in our wedding gear after eloping & had such a good time its been a destination bar for us since. Usually night 3 of 4 in vegas. Craft drinks are $14+ but so worth it Id rather see the care & talent that goes into each drink that the fake long pour of cheap stuff. We love going here after dinner & letting the super talented bartenders take over, if Alex is there you are in good hands just ask for his "burning through time" drink. I don't get people who think the bartenders are rude maybe you are a pain try ordering more than just a Vodka redbull you will find they are incredibly talented & friendly & usually really open to make you a drink off menu based on your spirit preference. The people watching is top notch, we have met some of the most interesting people there. We always say we are only going for 1 or 2 but 4 hours & $200 later Ive had an amazing night, learned about new drinks & have seen excellent things!!!...

Easily one of the best bars in Vegas ...

By bt_mpls_traveler |

This gem in The Cosmopolitan hotel is easily one of the best bars in Vegas, and that is saying something. I hesitate to call them bartenders, they really are mixologists and they serve up fantastic cocktails of all varieties. I generally drink the martinis there and they are just the best. They use fresh daily made ingredients where needed and the service is completely unpretentious. The prices are high, but the cocktails, service and atmosphere deliver. I highly recommend this bar.

Dropped by with our friends for a couple of late afternoon cocktails. Great place. Drinks were excellent. Also a great people watching location.

Ho-Hum

By Pete A |

Went on a recommendation on Yahoo as the best bar in Nevada. The front area was in the hotel lobby and smelled of stale cigarettes. The rear area was separated from the slots by a thin wall, open at the top. Much noise. The ceiling treatment is getting ragged. This is not the Sazerac. Dorothy, I don't think we are in NOLA any more. Then again, the drinks and Natalie's service were outstanding. One and done.

Atmosphere is everything!

By 1blessedchica |

Had a great and stout drink with the hubby. Friendly and handsome bar tenders. The bar is dark and lovely.

Great drinks.

By Navigate With Colleen & Nate |

Vesper bar has some really great drinks that put a spin on some classics. Only downside (like all casino bars) is the smoke is too much and unfortunately will limit nonsmokers time at the bar. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cocktails.
