I've been to Italy a few times so can't I say this is truly authentic Italian but the food was good. This is a place to go for fine dining and a unique, and expensive experience. There is an amazing view of the city and I can envision high rollers going here for a light meal and cocktails when price is not a factor. While the food was good, focus was on presentation and delivery. Prices were very high and portions were extremely small. I came to eat dinner but left hungry so I can't say it was a fulfilling experience. It's a nice place to take a date you're trying to impress but eat dinner elsewhere and come here for an elegant experience if you can afford it.

This is a small place but most seats have a view of the city. Regardless of the view, the food is spectacular. I had the foie gras and we shared the veggie antipa. My wife had the rigatoni boar and I had the carbonara. Both we’re excellent. We shared the goat entre which was also excellent. Also they have real Italian beer not easily found anywhere in Vegas, or Nevada for that matter. Service was over the top. I can’t say enough about this place. We are fortunate that we live fairly close and will definitely be returning, probably soon. It’s a bit pricy but that’s part of the “rif raf” charge. Very comfortable upscale atmosphere.

Be warned, it’s very expensive. The food is pretty good, plates are small ish so really think through eating a course or two and not just Secondi. The service is slow as it’s a relaxed dine, but it might be a tad too slow. All in all it’s pretty delicious with a great view.

We visit Vegas about once a year and are always scouting new restaurants. Our experience at Vetri Cucina was one of the best we've had here. The service was professional without being stuffy, the views are amazing, and OMG... the food. We started with the Sweet Onion Crepe and a vegetable antipasto that was a daily special. Both were delicious; the crepe in particular was unlike anything I've ever had. For the pasta course, I ordered the Almond Tortellini and my spouse had the Casoncelli alla Bergamasca. Both were fantastic and distinctive dishes. My husband told the waiter that we were torn and that the Swiss Chard Gnocchi came in third. When he brought our pasta courses, he brought us a small version of gnocchi – gratis – so we could taste it. We really didn't need to order another course, but we did: the seafood misto and the chicken. Again, terrific food. The sommelier helped us choose a nice bottle, and he did NOT focus all of his attention on the most expensive choices on the list. That's always a plus. It ended up being a pricey evening for us, because we chose a nice bottle of wine, each had three courses and shared a dessert. You could split an appetizer and order two pastas and be perfectly satisfied, I think. But you also won't walk out groaning if you go for the whole show – the portion sizes are not gigantic. (I consider that a good thing.) If you're looking for giant portions of pasta in red sauce, this is not the right choice. But if you want inventive, delicious, unique food, Vetri Cucina is a great choice.

Such an incredible experience! Do yourself a favor and experience Vetri Cucina. I love fine dinging and great natural Italian food and loved every minute of my time here. Incredibly friendly, knowledgable and authentic service (which can be hard to find in Vegas) and the most amazing freshly made Italian food. And of course incredible views from level 56. Highly, highly recommend. One of my favorite dining experiences to date.

At the top of the Palms you enter a small cozy but savvy restaurant where the waitresses are patient and knowledge able. I had the almond tortellini that really was to die for. I also tasted the braised beef ragu cavatelli - well worth it. Good wine choices but the really great panoramic view was seen at any spot you were seated at.

Set on top floor of the Palms Resort and Casino tower...amazing fine dining creative and innovative Italian cuisine with a twist adorned by Murano chandeliers and glassware. This is not your typical Italian restaurant so if you are looking for traditional Italian food this is not the restaurant you want to experience. Service is fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly. A must try...

Trained in the kitchens of Bergamo Italy but born stateside Marc Vetri’s name may not carry the weight of some “Celebrity Chefs,” but at his eponymous Restaurant in Philadelphia there has nonetheless been a book full of reservations for more than two decades, and in November 2018 the husband, father, musician, author and humanitarian transported his iconic dining room 56 stories above the Las Vegas Strip. Titled Vetri Cucina and occupying the former home of Alizé, a space that has been completely re-imagined with imported cobblestone, warm wood and soft lighting, it is after a ride in elevators that guests will find themselves in a foyer where classic rock plays, the hostess stand just steps beyond and in front of a bar serving Wine plus inspired Cocktails. In many ways Sin City’s biggest re-opening post-pandemic, an exclusive price-point one part of the reason, it is after confirming reservations that guests are led to tables clad in white tablecloths and hand-blown glasses, tiny candles flickering as bright lights glow below and into the distance. Featuring a la carte service as opposed to Chef Vetri’s Philadelphia Tasting Menu, though the latter is reportedly forthcoming, it is by skilled servers that diners are offered warm professionalism while the kitchen is led by Chefs Michael Rubenstien and Ashley Costa. Offering both Marc’s classics and newer seasonal items, a Bread program by the former Batali Pastry maestro yielding seeded Sourdough plus two starters, “savory Zeppole” come loaded with aged Proscuitto while Wheat Focaccia offers unparalleled softness beneath Mortadella, airy Cheese and Pistachios. Moving next to Pasta, the appropriate focus of any visit to Vetri Cucina, it was skipping recipes from the book “Il Viaggio di Vetri” that guests were next treated to all-new, Gemelli with Pesto and Orange Zest plus pockets of Taleggio Cheese contrasting bitter Radicchio and Walnuts brightened by Honey. Requesting additional Bread to sop up Sauce, the overall lack of Tomatoes expected as a result of Marc’s regional approach, savories overlooked Goat this time in favor of pricey grilled Seafood plus roasted Chicken that seems almost French thanks to Foie Gras and Mushrooms. Taking Espresso with Dolci, the complete collection of Vetri’s classics and new ideas from Chef Costa on display, Chocoholics should head straight for the molten-center “Souffle” while those seeking Fruit will be delighted by tart Semifreddo or Creme Fraiche Panna Cotta with Huckleberries and shards of Meringue. Cleansing the palate between plates with bites of Gelato, both Hazelnut and Orange lovely but Vanilla on a whole different level, if one were forced to pick Vetri Cucina’s *best* Dessert the decision would fall between Sicilian Pistachio “Flan” and a peerless Paris Brest, the former spilling silky green contents with each spoonful while the latter showcases Choux around dainty Mousse.

Nice restaurant with good views!! The decoration inside is pretty and good is good but the portion is on the smaller side!

Weirdest restaurant we’ve ever been to. Over 90% of the menu we did not understand. All menu choices were therefore unappealing, and even once explained they just seemed strange. Odd combinations of food in general. Almond and ground nuts with pasta. I’ve eaten at a lot of michelin star restaurants, and never seen any combinations like this. Service was ok, but the initial welcome poor. Sat at bar for 20mins waiting for table. Then went in to restaurant, and at least 5 empty tables. Zero care about customers. People more interested in taking care of their brother! Do that in your own time!!! Gnocchi with no potato is a first. How is that gnocchi? Fois gras pastrami - why? Just do the classic that people want. Menu needs a complete re-work. Focus on things people like; ravioli and tortellini with normal fillings and normal sauces. People like nice food, not weird combinations.

Went for dinner before a show and loved the entire experience! Incredible views of the strip, amazing staff, and most importantly excellent high-end Italian food. We had few antipasti and few of the pasta and everything was 10/10.

Steven the bartender was exceptional. He crafted a perfect set of cocktails and was very engaging. We did not eat at the restaurant but the bar was worthy of this review.

SOOOOOOOOO disappointed. We were excited to try because of the location and the view, which is the only good thing there unfortunately. Asked us to sit in the bar that was packed full while they waited to seat us, when the restaurant was basically empty. Awkward server once I mentioned dairy allergy, was told chef could make everything dairy free. Decided to give chef leeway and went with the 4 course chef choice. That was shot down because he could only do that for 2 people. Bread was ice cold from the fridge. Hamachi crudo, big whoop de do. Some cubed Yellowtail with citrus poured on it. endive salad was warm and very bitter, didn't eat it. Lobster with ragu pasta was a joke. It was not a thought out combination at all. The mushroom and pasta was like eating rubber. The goat and polenta was amazing and 5 out of 5 stars. However, not good enough to save the night. What a wasted night out.

In short: real Italian cuisine: fly to Italy and back for the night while in the comfort of the beat view of Vegas... if you’re into standard spaghetti bolognese and lasagna, don’t come here! And don’t complain about the fact that this is not your usual American-Italian restaurant! Overall menu: I like a restricted menu, it shows the chef is trying to do a few things as well as he can rather than lots of things on average level. Here this is well done: a selection for everyone yet well focused. A tasting menu is available if you wish. Setting: really hard to beat: even if you were on a rooftop on the strip you would lack the perspective this location permits: just stupendous Food quality: fantastic flavors smoothly mixed with slow cooking. All pasta started not just from scratch but from grain: that is superior level pasta making and flavor... Food quantity: at last a nice restaurant that has gauged it properly: not too little, not too much, just perfect size. Note: pastas are NOT main dishes but in between dishes- as they should! Mood: relaxed chic, you can feel comfortable no matter what the occasion Service: excellent but a few surprising technical errors: got the side of bread plates wrong and removed plates too early while other guests are still eating... but these were all committed by the same server so... oups! Bread, butter and water are always the best baseline for a restaurant: here they score big time with amazing focaccia with salted crust, flowery olive oil and a selection of flat or mineral water included What I had... Pouligny-Montrachet 2016 half bottle: served at perfect temperature, always a fantastic white... Hamachi crudo with lemon: soft gentle flavors, lovely vinaigrette, refreshing, could have a bit more of a kick but great Lobster tomato fusilli: very interesting delicious and hearty; well-done mix of lobster with tomato - unusual sonceost chefs use butter or cream with lobster. Almond with truffle butter: just perfect simplicity with rich delicate flavors, very very well done Pistachio flan: amazing creativity on the flan, but chocolate ice cream? I don’t get it... it calls more for a vanilla or ginger granita... or nothing else! It is sooooo good! Way too american for what the flan deserves... respect and have faith in your creation: be bold and let it be! Here less is more! Espresso: a real one with awesome crema and with home made biscotti, welcome to Italy Price point: high quality food, location, service: appropriate for what it is. This being said it is considered an expensive restaurant, i spend 180 USD for my meal listed above. On par with other equivalent restaurants in NYC, Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver, etc. Only cheaper place would eb Montréal! 😂 For me a great restaurant, no matter the expense or style needs to have three elements that work together and enrich each other in balance: Service, Setting, Food. Too much or too little of one and they are off... here they hit it right on and I think they deserve 5 stars. If they push it a bit, especially on service, they may get a Michelin some day... something to work towards...

This is a new restaurant on the roof of palms hotel. Fresh handmade pasta, friendly service and great view! Definitely recommend!

The service is excellent but the food..... fancy names and flourishing presentation with a ridiculous price tag for food that is just not remarkable in any way. We were served a selection the staff chose for us and one cut of meat was barely palatable. We sent it back and were credited for one of the two giant cuts of it that they served. There was one fish that was excellent but overall very underwhelmed and none of us will go back. For a price tag of what over five grand for the table, we all expected more, especially in Vegas.

A must, if you like Italian, while in Las Vegas. We dined there 5/24 for a birthday celebration. I booked weeks in advance and called the day of the reservation to request a window table for the special occasion. If you are on a budget, this place may not be for you. We like to share our meals so we ordered a variety of dishes. Everything was OUTSTANDING. Two glasses of wine, one onion crepe, almond Tortellini, Gnocchi, and a gelato for desert. Total: $122.32 + $30.68 tip. The view is outstanding. The service was impeccable. We will Return.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! From the moment we checked in, we were impressed. The Hostesses were great. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. The bartender made us a great drink and was friendly and likable. We were seated early at the best table with the best view. From there, the servers and “wine guy” were all awesome. The food was a wonderful mix of flavors not found elsewhere. The pasta homemade....everything extraordinary.

Vetri has amazing pasta dishes and different types you won’t get anywhere else . The strip views from the dining room on the 56 th floor are amazing . The staff and manger Gina are the best at being so welcoming . The menu changes so you get new things to try every few months .

The bartenders and the kitchen made this restaurant sing. No shade to those who dine in the main room, but a seat at the bar provides a better view than the floor-to-ceiling windows afforded on the 56th level of The Palms where Vetri Cucina is housed. The food was divine (highly recommend the zeppole, sweet onion crepe, almond tortellini), and the cocktail craftmanship was next level. It was a treat watching the bartenders weave their alcoholic magic and man are their concoctions powerful. Special praise to Adam and his Santa Sangre, it will send you into 2023 on a cloud. I had two, so I will see you in 2024. This is a food and drink experience not to be missed!

we allowed the restaurant to serve us what they chose. a great decision. every bite was wonderful. from amuse, appys, pasta, mains and dessert. nothing was left among four people. truly a special meal that was worth the years of wait.

For those who know, Marc Vetri has a place in Philly that is near impossible to get a reservation at. When I found out he opened a place in Vegas we jumped at the opportunity to go. You need to be a little adventurous to fully enjoy the menu but wow incredible. Top floor of the Palms- above the old Ghost Bar which is now APEX. Insane unique view. The staff is simply the most knowledgeable restaurant staff I have ever encountered. The whole Marc Vetri story is great. Started with the caramelized onion thing. Apparently it’s an original menu item from day one in Philly. Unique an amazing. For the 2nd course I chose a ravioli, for lack of a better explanation, filled with sweet corn and pickled blue berries... let that sink in. Fabulous. Main meal... Baby Goat. They put a baby goat head on your table and you eat meat out of the face... no they don’t. Just making sure you’re still with me. Goat tastes just like beef just way more tender. My friend had the foie gras which was without question the best I’ve ever tasted and the gnocchi. The gnocchi was some kind of spinach thing. Well done but not my jam. Vetri is the new MUST DO in Vegas. Don’t fear the goat !!

I went here with my girlfriend back in October 2023. All I can say is, it was absolutely phenomenal. The two guys managing the bar - Eddie and Stephen, were so knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. They took the time out to explain the menu, as well as suggest different types of drinks that would match what we were eating. I didn’t know what half the things on the menu were neither of them made us feel redundant for not knowing (I have experienced this before). I explained everything with such intricate detail that it was almost artistic to a sense. Also one of the best old-fashions I have ever had. Yes, it is very expensive, but worth the experience. Best grilled oysters I have ever had and the moose (in the picture) was so light and delightful I felt like I was consuming something angelic. The boss man, Marc Vetri, who is also a pleasure to talk to. Very talented individual. If you can, book a date night here for sure.

First time to this restaurant - but hopefully not my last. Celebrated a friend's birthday and this location did not disappoint. The staff were incredible - so attentive and the food was amazing - - one of the best meals I have ever had. And the view - - stunning. Highly recommend.

I am a las vegan resident over 29 years. I had been to Alize previously in the past , where now Vetri Cucina is situated. You are on the 56th floor of the Palms hotel casino. a top property.! I always used these restaurants for special occasions , for family and friends who have never been before in our city. so this was my first time, at Vetri Cucina . I was treating my Cousine from Europe on her second night in Las Vegas. The Table was perfect with a wonderful view of the Strip. The Service was outstanding , attentive to our needs and pleasures . The Cuisine was excellent, and the courses were hot when served. The cost was appropriate for this class of restaurants . no abuse! Finally , for us local residents , the parking was free!!! Considering the ripoff reputation of the Strip 's restaurants this was a very nice surprise ,indeed . I can only highly recommend this restaurant and I shall return! P.S. one small item , the acoustic [noise from other tables] could be reduced by using ceiling drapes . Thank you for this fine dining experience in our city.

Italian fine dining, wonderful food and very well trained staff. Everything was perfect to top everything was the view of Vegas Strip from outside!

I have been to Vetri in Philly dozens of times and it is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. I was excited to try this new spot and it was well worth the wait! Came with a group of 10 and my crew placed the night in my hands.....I worked with the waiter and Justin the sommelier to provide a great experience and they delivered! The Brunello magnums were perfect, the sharable favorites worked to give my friends an experience they won't soon forget....the sweet onion crepe', the foie gras pastrami, and the fennel were all amazing, the pasta course with swiss chard gnocchi, almond tortolini and a pork ravioli with cookie and pancetta were all incredible....the mains of sea bass, smoked goat and truffled pork chop were perfect and the best for last, the chocloate polenta souffle, gelato and panna cotta were just awesome. They brought over some port for the table and petit fours to end the dinner and we left happy and full! I can't say enough how incredible this place is and how much I recommned you try it....

We had a free evening in between some business activities and booked this spot two weeks ahead. We had an early reservation and managed to be seated at a terrific table next to the window. The view during sunset was only surpassed by the food, wine and service. While I’d call the menu uniquely fancy Italian with a high price, it was very much worth it for a special occasion. I would highly recommend a visit and be sure to plan your reservation just prior to sunset to get the best view experience.

We were in Vegas for a concert with friends who just got married and were treating them to a wedding present dinner. I mentioned this when we made the reservation and they seated us at a great table right at the windows. The view of the strip when the lights come on is awesome. Service was spot on. From the bartender, to the waitstaff, to the kitchen, everyone was friendly and provided top notch service. We pre-ordered the tasting menu which was 6 courses, with a few other tidbits thrown in. Our friends are not foodies and were a little apprehensive of the set menu but we were all thrilled at the food. Portions were not huge, but just enough to enjoy every course. Food was great and left us all arguing over which course was best. Pork dish was a tad salty but that is the only very minor flaw in an otherwise superb dinner. Two of us also did the wine pairing which was good, and well narrated, but not thrilling. Chef, Jason, came out and talked with us for a while since we are all Phill area folks. He was great also. Was it cheap eats, no, but for a special night out definitely give them a try. Well worth the experience and easier to get into then their nearly impossible Philly restaurant.

Beautiful view at this Upscale Vegas restaurant. Service is great. Food is excellent. The wine was tasty. All as you would expect. My only issue is one I have often. High prices for small, trendy portions. In reality, you probably need no more food, but the portions seem overpriced. Treat yourself in town to this vista.

Having visited Las Vegas probably forty or more times over the past twenty years and having sampled several dozen eateries of high repute, this one, at an upper floor in the Palms, nevertheless came as a stunning surprise. A feeling of such comfortable elegance. Food was more delicate than substantive. Not knowledgeable in northern Italian cuisine, I found a variety of dishes shared among five of us to be wonderfully unique and tantalizing, each as tasty, far lighter, far less filling. The menu was perhaps more continental than comprehensible, yielding clues rather than clearly defining the options - waitress/waiter guidance mandatory. The floor-to-ceiling wraparound windowing afforded us a magnificent scenery, particularly a stunning profile view of The Strip. I suspect there may be no more strategic vista in the city than this one. Conversation was strained by echoing voices off the glass. About as pricey as many of the other high-end LV stops. For me, it's one that I would hate to have missed visiting -- for the stunning view while savoring fairly tantalizing cuisine.

Chatting with a patron at Mabel's he told us to check out this bar. Absolutely stunning views on the 56th floor of the Palms. Went in late afternoon so we were not super hungry. After talking with another couple at the bar and seeing the beautiful food that came out we ordered the Porchetta. So delicious. This will be on the list for our next visit to Vegas.

Took a group of 9 to Vetri Cucina on Friday night. Beautiful space. Excellent service all around especially the sommelier. They arranged for some shared appetizers and pasta for our group followed by individual main dishes. The mushroom linguini and grilled octopus were highlights. Overall a beautiful meal. Worth the trip over to the Palms.

If you're looking for creative Italian food, a great wine list, awesome cocktails, and an incredible view, then go to Vetri Cucina. The restaurant is on the top floor of The Palms Resort so the views are spectacular. We had cocktails before dinner served by a very attentive and inventive bartender. Dinner was fantastic - appetizers and pasta courses were incredible, as were the main courses. Our sommelier was great - very friendly and helpful and was very interested in finding out what type of wine we enjoy. He made great recommendations for two bottles of wine that we would have otherwise known nothing about. They were perfect for our dinner. We highly recommend Vetri!

Made a reservation for Vetri Cucina to celebrate our anniversary and my wife's b-day. Restaurant called to confirm reservation and asked if we were celebrating anything, & I communicated yes. Asked for a great seat to see the view!! When we got to the restaurant we were seated in a back room with no view of the Vegas skyline. Service was awful; it took 20 minutes to get our glasses of wine, 45 minutes to get the salads we ordered, and 1:15 to get two small pasta dishes. Food was just okay, but very pricey. Wine by glass was $25-$30. Spectacularly over priced with poor service.

We had the tasing menu with wine pairings. Everything was spot on! The service was great and the view stunning. We were in Vegas for 6 nights and canceled our reservations at another place so we could go back again before we left..........YES! It was that good! We had been to Vetri in Philadelphia and were anxious to try their place in Vegas. I do not thing you could go wrong with anything on their menu.

Vertri Cucina in the Palms Hotel offers fine Italian dining with a spectacular view of Las Vegas from its perch on the top floor. The food is expensive but also rare. I had a chestnut rigatoni with wild boar ragu with chickpea panelle topped with fried mushrooms to start. Both were great but a little salty. For dinner the pistachio flan with coffee gelato was memorable. Service on this night was mediocre. Slow and inattentive. It seemed they were still working out some of the bugs on a relatively new restaurant. The chef was available and interacting with the diners.

The servers were excellent. Extremely professional and knowledgeable about each dish. Atmosphere was low key, but very pleasant. Each dish was interesting and very good. They know what they are doing. Great views.

This may have been the most bi-polar meal I've ever experienced. My wife, daughter, and I arrived for a 7:00 reservation to a nearly-empty restaurant. Our waiter greeted us, introduced the menu, and appeared to be a complete professional. He asked if we had time restraints and we told him we had tickets to Penn & Teller at 9:00 (just down the street from the Palms). Our first courses (Crudo & Oysters) arrived quickly and were excellent. Salads arrived shortly afterwards. Warm Salad was among the best salads I've ever eaten, while my wife's market salad was just so-so. After the salads were cleared, I checked the time and it was around 7:35. Dinner was moving along nicely and there was plenty of time before we needed to be at the show. Then, the meal went completely sideways. Our waiter simply disappeared. We had long since finished our cocktails and our wine (ordered 20+ minutes prior) never arrived. Water glasses had long been empty, as well. After we had been ignored for nearly 40 minutes, I got up and flagged down another server who said he'd "try to find" our waiter. Our waiter soon emerged, but still didn't come to our table, instead going to an adjacent table and casually chatting with them about how often them come to Vegas and what shows they would be seeing. Finally, after over an HOUR since we had finished our prior course, our waiter brought our entrees. Instead of being apologetic for ignoring us for over an hour, he blamed the kitchen and told us they messed up our orders (which he had never come to explain) and we were "lucky" that "someone left before their entrees were served" and we now had their food (?!?). My daughter said her pasta was good, but my wife's fish was ice cold and hard (had obviously been sitting out for some time) and my grilled Wagyu was simply inedible. It was cold, unseasoned, and so damn tough as to resemble shoe leather. By this time, it was already past 9:00 and we ended up missing around 25 minutes of Penn & Teller. I will give credit to the hostess/manager for removing the two uneaten entrees from the bill. Other than that, our waiter was rude, unprofessional, and completely unapologetic for abandoning us and causing us to miss 1/3 of our expensive post-meal show. Food ranged from excellent to worse than an Olive Garden. With the depth of high-end Italian in Las Vegas, you can avoid this place and never miss it.

First of all, the focaccia bread here is delicious! Light and airy. I booked this restaurant because I’ve always wanted to try Vetri in Philly. We had a 7pm show and let them know in advance. We were late for our 5:30 reservation, but they still managed to get us out in time without feeling rushed, and service was excellent. Granted we are foodies but efficient diners. I enjoyed my chickpea panelle but not the Swiss chard gnocchi which I found bland lacking texture. We left before it got dark but the view of the strip at night must be excellent. Would definitely return to try other dishes.

Easily one of the best meals I've had in year. The restaurant is beautiful with stunning views, perhaps the best in Vegas. The staff across the board, from hostess to bartender to server, could not be beat. Our server, Brooke, truly could not have been better. Lovely, smart, very helpful... everything you could want in a server. And the food was tremendous. I cannot recommend it enough and can't wait to go back!

If the amazing team they have assembled doesn’t impress you, the unparalleled view will. If the view doesn’t blow you away, the insane food and drink will. This is not a good restaurant; This is an incredible restaurant from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. The wine list was amazing as you would expect from a fine dining experience in Vegas. We started with an Orecciette pasta dish that could very well qualify as one of the single best bites of food I’ve ever tasted. We then had the most magical, impeccably aged, seasoned, cooked and displayed Rib Eye I have ever had. I can babble on and on about it but let’s just say it was Rib Eye porn. Vetri is pricy but worth every penny. This place is simply incredible. Check it out.

When in Vegas, head over to the Palms Casino for an amazing roof top dinner. Ventri Cucina is an amazing dining experience on the 56 floor with phenomenal Vegas views. Fresh pastas and all in kitchen made meals, spectacular wines and drinks along with delicious desserts. Reservations are a must!!! The Palms casino is a fun after dining spot with newly remodeled grounds and entertainment.

Atop the Palms, Vetri is one of the really good new restaurants in this remodeling property. The same great Strip views in a fairly cozy or romantic setting. Not too loud for comfortable conversation. Service was appropriately attentive. At the waitress’ suggestion, Chef came to the table to chat about himself and the restaurant. The parent Vetri is in Philly, but Chef is permitted to personalize the menu. And here is where Vetri shines. The menu is small with one steak, two fish and a half dozen pasta dishes. Menu will change periodically to add lamb, duck, etc. Not only do they make their pasta, the grain is milled on site. All dishes were unique in preparation and presentation. We started with pastrami seasoned foil gras (duck) that was creamy and light. Carmelized, concentrated onion crepe was quite rich. Striped bass for two ($110) was melt in your mouth, initially presented at the table showing the salt encrusted whole fish before being filleted. All the elements of the seafood mixta were tender and tasty. The chocolate polenta soufflé was different and delish. Wine prices seemed a bit high, but Palms doesn’t charge to park. Regular readers know we reserve 5 star reviews for the very few truly exceptional dining experiences. Vetri is a solid 4.5. We will certainly return and highly recommend.

Very nice restaurant high atop The Palms Casino. Very inviting room with terrific views, The steak tartare was expertly created served with a crisp cracker so elongated it stretched across the plate. Another foie gras cold terrine slapped across toasted bread was delicious. Pastas of saffron lobster & a pistachio pesto pasta was thoroughly enjoyed. The sommelier gave us a very good value priced wine so do not be afraid to ask. I ordered the chocolate soufflé but returned it because it was not a soufflé. It was a chocolate lava cake. Excellent service. Go!

Yes, this is the same Vetri that’s in Philadelphia! The Northern Italian cuisine is exceptional. Everything is made in house. The different flavors and textures are fresh and original. And it has the best view of the city in Las Vegas located on the top of The Palms Hotel! The service is excellent This is “The Real Thing”!

Vetri Cucina is a stunning restaurant in the Palms Hotel that offers impeccable views of the strip and a fine dining Italian experience. Located 56 floors above the Strip, this is a restaurant you don’t want to miss! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. The vast international wine list is was almost impossible to choose from as it was stacked with decadent choices, including my favorite Italian Pinto Grigio. The food was delicious, excellent preparation and presentation, great flavors and interesting upscale twists on classic Italian dishes.

My husband and I went to Vetri before we had reservations at another restaurant in the Palms. I knew the whole hotel/casino/resort had undergone a massive renovation and that much of the casino and all its offerings had just opened in the last few months so we were trying to hit a couple spots. I was mostly interested in the view, but I had also read positive things about the bartenders and service. We were thinking maybe we would get a drink and an app. We arrived early, maybe 6:30pm and there was only one other table seated at the time. We asked for a table near the window and they sat us no problem without a reservation. (It was a Monday night and early in the evening for Vegas standards.) By the time we left just over an hour later, there were maybe 4-5 other tables, it was starting to pick up. Our server was Lee. He was very pleasant, smiled, happy to help, incredibly well versed on the menu. Very impressive. He knew every item, every ingredient and every preparation inside and out and he gave honest recommendations. He was very patient as we browsed and we noticed he answered about 24 questions graciously from the table next to us. We ordered the salmon crudo. Very good. A little fishy, so make sure you like fish. Perfectly flavorful and fatty, though. A beautiful pea purée and fresh peas complimented it well. Nice presentation. Small, but a perfect little starter for us. We had a glass of wine and just enjoyed the view. Service was very good. We were greeted by four different people before we even arrived at our table (hostess downstairs, a gentleman monitoring the elevator, hostess upstairs, and bartender. Water refilled constantly which I always appreciate as a service point. Lee was very attentive even thought our bill wasn’t very high and even though he had some more (presumably) high maintenance guests around us. Menu is pricey. You’re paying for the view, the service for sure. Menu was impressive, I definitely would have been happy to eat dinner there if we didn’t have other plans. But it’s not your typical Italian. It definitely has some nuances to it. (Which I love... but I know some don’t like to be surprised. If you’re at all picky about what you eat, I would advise checking out the menu ahead of time.) Restaurant was very clean, fresh look, lots of windows, obviously, and natural light. Liked the set up of table and chairs, decor, and ambiance all very good. I would recommend going at night after the sun has gone down. Or just as the sun is setting. View is spectacular, but with the lights of the Las Vegas strip on, it’s a little more stunning. We just missed this timing. Definitely would come back. Worth the Uber drive from the strip.
Great dinner with an amazing view!
My mom, sister and I were in Vegas for a belated birthday celebration and made a reservation at Vetri Cucina for dinner before our show later that evening. The restaurant is on the 56th floor of the Palms hotel. It's a bit industrial and rustic at the same time. What I loved the most was that I didn't feel like I was at a hotel or casino. I felt like I was at an upscale restaurant with an incredible view of the city. The view alone would have made the this a great experience but the food was amazing as well. Their sommelier was super helpful in helping us pick out wines for our meals that fit our price point. One of the appetizer specials was a roasted vegetable platter that was huge and so good that we are all still talking about it. The pasta portions were small but since the cacio e pepe was very rich it ended up being perfect for me. Plus, it left room for the delicious desserts. They also gave us what appeared to be handmade chocolates to end the night and they were also delicious. We would totally come back again!
