Had Bro as our server for the evening and he was nothing short of amazing. He was able to give us detailed descriptions of the menu and had an answer for every question. Everything was very timely. Truly great service, will be returning!

Had a rough day and decided to turn it around with a great steak and was happy to find that the service more than matched the atmosphere and food. Kelbie was fantastic and we will definitely be asking for her next time!

My wife and I are in Houston from Dallas for the ballet every couple of months, V&A is our go to for post-show dinner. Moreso now that we have the best server in the HTX area, Venny. Venny is an enthusiastic, engaging server, an all-around great person that makes us feel welcome each and every time we are in town. If you are in the area, in need of great food, and better service, make sure you hit up this spot and ask to be seated with Venny.

The service was incredible. The food was killer. Never had a drink on low. Never had empty plates sitting on the table. Kelbie was incredible. Everyone should go request her.

We held a private business dinner for 25 on Friday, June 14th. Vic & Anthony's hit the ball outta the park. From the beginning their team was accommodating and flexible to our needs, even when some things popped-up at the last minute. Our dining team...Tim and Brandi...were truly awesome. Both were curious, fun, and professional. The food was amazing...not a single complaint or concern and everything served was presented great and tasted even better. I'd recommend this venue for anyone considering a private dining event. 5 stars!

The best steak dinner I have ever had. Our waitress, Summer was amazing. She made excellent suggestions, and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend. I never eat my steak medium, but that's how I ordered it here and it was so perfect. *Note: Got bone-in Prime Rib-eye Steak, Filet, Potatoes Au Gratin with Bacon, Broccoli. For dessert, Cheesecake with blueberry ginger compote - unbelievably delightful.

I travel a lot for work and I have gone to a ton of steak houses. This was one of the top ones. The shrimp cocktail was great. The bacon was great. And the ribeye was one of the best that I’ve ever had. A real delight. And the server was super nice.

What an amazing restaurant. From the minute you walk through the door you are made to feel welcome. Service, food , ambiance are all 5 star. A definite must for steak lovers.

To celebrate our 22nd anniversary, we spent the evening treated to top notch service, courtesy of Vinny, who quite literally knew the menu backwards and forwards. We started things off sharing a superb crab cake along with my personal favorite, pear and saga cheese salad. Vinny sold me on a 12 ounce filet topped with tempura shrimp over sautéed green beans and mashed potatoes with a spicy chili sauce. My wife enjoyed a perfectly done medium well filet. We ended the night sharing an exquisite caramel chocolate cake topped with milk chocolate crunch, candied macadamia nuts and gold flake. We come back time after time to this location for experiences like this. Thank you again, Vinny!

Thank you Mike! Me and my partner went on Saturday for his birthday and were tempted to go back every day after. The food was delicious, can not fault it whatsoever and the service was even better. We arrived not long before closing and didn’t feel rushed at all. We were served by Mike who made my partners birthday very special and was just a genuinely lovely person. Definitely will return when we are back in the area. Side note, we took some of our food home as we were so full and it still tasted good the next day, that’s good food for you!

Our experience was stellar, start to finish. Lindsey took great care of us with service that was attentive and good-humored. We enjoyed the quail, oysters, lobster bisque (the best I’ve ever had), two of the steak specials, and creamed spinach and mushroom sides. Everything was spectacular. For dessert, we had the zeppole, which was the perfect ending. Thanks to Lindsey and everyone else for making our anniversary so special!

Hands down, BEST STEAK we have ever had. Visiting from Denver (which has great steakhouses) we wanted to compare and we humbly give it up to Texas for having amazing steak; cuts like butter! Great flavors, prepared to perfection, and you feel the pride from the chef in the tasting experience. Truly the best! Drinks were yummy, and an extensive wine list. A memorable experience for me and my sister while visiting Houston! Lindsey was an incredibly attentive, genuine, and knowledgeable server. Highly recommend!

We celebrated Mike's 55th birthday at Vic & Anthony's tonight Venny, our V & A's dining experience representative, calling him a waiter or server would be inappropriate, was extraordinary. His knowledge of the menu, personal opinions, and professionalism out weighs all. Mike and I only go out to dine for special occasions. Whether it be our birthday, our children's birthday, or our parent's. We have celebrated at Brennan's, Perry's, Pearl & Vine, Fleming's, and Morton's. I was in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, and from my experience this evening at Vic & Anthony's, it couldn't have been better. My first suggestion, if you choose to dine at Vic & Anthony's is to ask for Venny. My second suggestion is to get your steak covered with their signature butter blue cheese. It's orgasmic!

Went for Dinner with the Family, Had an AMAZING time. Sarah was our server and she went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Very knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations (must try the crab cakes!) and anticipated all of our needs. Will definitely be returning soon!

We ate at the original Vic and Anthony’s the bone in short ribs were the best we have ever eaten. The service was very good. We ordered a dozen raw oysters and they were paper thin about the size of a nickel worst oysters ever tasteless I don’t know how a high-end restaurant buy such awful oysters

An exceptional experience. Our visit was for my mother's birthday and we all enjoyed ourselves. From valet, hostess, bar, our server Mandy, and each course of the meal...EVERYTHING was top tier! We loved the live music. Mandy was very knowledgeable and her recommendations were spot on! I agree with her, you all do have the best crab cakes in Houston ☺️! The chef even honored our request for a signed menu wishing my mom Happy Birthday. I genuinely couldn’t be more pleased. Such a great atmosphere and the level of service and quality of food match. It was my first time but definitely won't be my last! Thank you so much for helping make my mom’s birthday that much more special.

Came here on business to impress my clients. Summer was our server and was outstanding. The imported wagyu was particularly special.

First let me say that the restaurant is beautiful. We were welcomed by super nice valet attendants! The girls at the reception desk had smiles and also very friendly. Our Waiter! Dominique was one of the best ! Super knowledgeable on Menu, amazing personality. Read our table well. His service was 12 out of 10 Made our experience perfect. We started with martinis made at the table with caviar filled Olives. To die for. Each of our dinners was spectacularly made to perfection. Lobster and the Texas wagyu with truffle butter. Scallops (delish) The bone marrow appetizer was amazing and the bone and ribeye was cooked perfection Beautifully put together Wines from all over the world. for dessert old fashions

This place is great. It’s an upscale steakhouse but I think it’s better than the rest. The bacon app is great. The shrimp cocktail also great. And the ribeye was perfect. The service was spot on. A great place.

First time to this restaurant and the service and food were excellent and lived up to our expectations after reading the reviews. The staff were friendly and accommodating and our waiter, Andreas, treated us like family. He referenced my daughter’s HS graduation, which I included when making the reservation, which made her special. Andreas carefully explained the menu options which helped us to order something we truly enjoyed. I highly recommend this restaurant and we acknowledge Andreas who takes such pride in his work, customer service and made our experience memorable.

The food here is always amazing and the service is incredible. I can't get enough of their American wagyu steak. It's a little pricey but it is worth every penny - I don't think I've ever had a bad bite here. My husband and I will certainly be back. The only criticism is the noise when it gets busy, but I can hardly call it a knock since nobody can do anything about that.

My Husband and I were in town for a short visit and stopped in for a relaxing dinner. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our waitress, Kelbie greeted us with such genuine enthusiasm, it felt like we were VIPs. Much needed after our travels. The wine selection here is unparalleled. We also enjoyed the crab cake, best I've had in a long time! I hope to travel back to Houston again soon!

Excellent steakhouse in downtown Houston near the George R Brown convention center. Staff here was ultra kind in 2023 allowing us to take wines and ports across the street to the Westin hotel when one of our party had Covid and was quarantined in the room. A return trip in 2024 was divine with great wine and a meal crafted from various appetizers and salads on the menu. Service at its finest.

The food was great and the atmosphere was beautiful, but the highlight of the night was our waiter. Venny was very friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. The service really stood out and made it worth it! It was my boyfriend’s birthday and Venny also sent us home with the best chocolate cake we have ever had (pictured).

In May of 2025 I had the absolute pleasure of eating at Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse! I had been looking forward to going for months as a treat to myself for a birthday gift. The staff were so kind and accommodating. My server was a gem, Dominique! He was so fun and genuine - everything about my experience was delightful, but he was definitely the cherry on top! He helped me take pictures (and was a great hype buddy), was attentive, warm, engaging, and gave yummy suggestions! I got immediately seated at a bar overlooking the kitchen and it was cool to see the process in getting plates out, but also how the kitchen staff interacted with each other (and me!). Their energy was great! I could go on about praises for the staff, but the food was also absolutely worth it! I had seared scallops with a wagyu steak and potatoes. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous! The cocktail that Dominique recommended after asking about my tastes was perfect. They were kind enough to give me a creme brulee dessert for my birthday ❤️ I was scraping the sides of that plate for every bit haha. All this to say, it is now 8 months later and I'm still thinking about this restaurant and my time there. I don't often write reviews, but promised myself that I would leave one this time (better late than never 😅). It's a Have To Visit spot on my list for whenever I pass through Houston again!

THEY CHANGED THE CRAB CAKE RECIPE FOR THE WORSE!! I have loved Vic & Anthony's crab cakes for years because they had a very light crust on the outside, very little breading on the inside and loaded with scrumptious crab. Tonight I ordered 1 and it was a new recipe that was 90-95% Green Colored Breading and very little crab. We called the manager over, showed him all the breading and asked if the recipe had changed. He said "No" and brought out another crab cake that had even more breading and less crab than the 1st one. The crab cake was the only reason I ever chose to go here and with that gone I won't be back! The 12 oz filet was too salty and only average tasting, the Greek salad had a dressing that you could only taste lemon juice in it so all in all, the meal was very unsatisfactory and costs a lot of $$$.

Good food and I dare say normal prices. Good choice of steaks, had the fillet with some shrimps. Starter of with tuna poke which was good and spicy. The sides are really big. Great choice of wine. Plesant evening.

Was recommended this spot while visiting Houston and I will definitely be returning! Our server, Kelbie, was so friendly, patient, and helpful giving us some tasty recommendations to end our night. hope to see her next time we come out!

We are Houston natives based in Cyprus, and we did a staycation in downtown Houston for our 10-year wedding anniversary. We did our anniversary dinner here. The food was awesome! What you would expect from an expensive steakhouse. It has a great atmosphere with good clientele, and our server was awesome. His name was Vinny, and he really tied the whole experience together from his food recommendations to the vibe it gave the meal. He's one of those types of people that just makes your day and makes you want to come back!

This is THE place for special events. We were celebrating my sister's 50th wedding anniversary. The A5 wagyu, 40oz tomahawk, crab cakes, quail, filets, seafood and desserts were absolutely the best. As amazing as the food was, what made the evening extra special was the service. Our server was Mr. Gilreath. He understood the significance of our visit and made everything perfect.

This spot a great for a casual night out! My wife and I had dinner before the Ledisi concert. Our server, Kelbie, was the best! She made sure that the food came out timely and that we got to our show on time. Of course, the ribeye was truly one of the best I ever had and you can't find a better a crabcake, not even in Baltimore.

Vic & Anthony is our go-to for special occasions; not because we don’t love trying new places, but because they’re the best! This is the second time we had Kelbie as our server, and she is 10/10 OUTSTANDING! Chef’s kiss, Kelbie! We have our usuals, but she provided us with many options for detours where we saw fit. If you do nothing else, dear God have the crab cake! It will change your outlook on life!

There is no good reason why we don’t dine here more often. The meal and experience were wonderful. We dined for dinner across the street. The service across the street could learn a lot from service here. We highly recommend and look forward to returning.

We were in Houston on holiday for my 50th birthday and decided to eat at this restaurant based on the reviews. Unfortunately we arrived to the most unpleasant front of house reception we have ever received at any restaurant ever. My son was dressed in shorts and a shirt (warm day so not inappropriate) and as soon as we entered the restaurant we were rudely told that they have a strict no short policy and that we had been advised this when booking. Actually no! the no short policy was not advised and the rude attitude was also not required. The same message could have been delivered in a much more pleasant manner. We understand a dress code and would have adhered to this had we been advised prior to arriving. What was most ridiculous about this policy is that my son went back to our hotel and changed into track pants and sneakers and this was ok. WHAT!! This policy is an absolute joke. Please see pictures attached of his shorts that were deemed inappropriate and the track pants that were considered appropriate attire for this restaurant. Please also see dress code included on our booking reservation and on the front door of the restaurant. No mention of the no short policy anywhere. I really hope this restaurant thinks about how this message is delivered to patrons and updates it’s communication prior to arrival so others are not subjected to the same unpleasantness that we experienced here. As a side note the manager provided me a free glass of champagne as an apology and the food was fabulous however, none of this made up for the rude greeting we received. Whilst we do not live in the area, if we did, I would never return to this restaurant. A really disappointing way to spend my birthday.

This restaurant is so amazing! My husband & I dined here for our anniversary, and it was such a lovely experience. I ordered the shrimp scampi, and was absolutely blown away! Our server Brittany was so attentive and gave really good recommendations, my husbands NY strip was cooked to perfection! Will definitely be back!

This place gets a lot of hype, but my most recent meal was not exceptional. I'm not a big red meat eater, so I ordered the salmon. It was a bit overcooked and the overall preparation wasn't stellar. The sides we ordered for the table were very good, but better at some other high profile steakhouses in town. Certainly convenient, though, if you plan to go to a ballgame after.

She performs like a top notch server and adapts when business is tight and the Sommelier is tied up. Her presentation skills are top notch! She deserves to win the prize and get the honorary parking spot. Food wise, everything was wonderful….. except the lobster bisque. It was not rich or creamy as expected and had a watery and to be honest, metallic / canned taste. Crab cakes, phenomenal, tomahawk, outstanding, a5 old fashioned, superb, lemon tart w/ raspberries, heavenly.

My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary here. We’re not the type of people to eat out a lot, and if we do it surely will not be at a place with such a high price. But we sure are glad we did this time. Our waitresses kelbie was amazing a bubbly firecracker for sure. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. The food was spectacular and worth the occasion. 10/10

Came here per a recommendation of a friend for my birthday dinner. Everything was truly phenomenal from booking the reservation through us leaving. Mandy our server gave a full on experience, one that you expect from a top tier restaurant. However, she personally went above and beyond. Such an experience will forever be remembered.

We came here for my birthday 4/2024. Our serving staff, Sonya and Robin, were amazing. The environment was classy and relaxed. Sonya had an amazing and funny personality which we appreciated. I got the bone-in filet and my fiancé got the filet special with the chili sauce. His steak and plate was amazing. My bone-in filet ordered medium rare came more cooked. Sonya was great to take it back and order another steak that was more medium rare. The potatoes au gratin were amazing and their Italian cream cake was delicious. The bone-in filet I would not order again. It had a very strong smell/taste to it...not sure if it's because of the bone. Overall, we would go back and I would order that huge filet that he ordered...it was amazing with the hot/sweet chili sauce, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Thank you Sonya and Robin for making our visit memorable.

Every year we have our company Christmas party at a very fine dining establishment. I was expecting this year to be no different. However, the staff was extremely slow and when notified about the poor service, the management literally told us to look around. We’re busy you guys are just gonna have to wait. As the one time a year I get to go out to eat and not worry about anything. Management always goes over the top for us. I’m talking A5 Wagyu steaks, caviar seafood towers you name it whatever you want. Sadly, a general manager and assistant manager, robbed that experience from us. The short white man with the walkie-talkie in his ear was so condescending and demeaning to everyone… turns out this was the GM. It was almost like we were being Pranked. I couldn’t believe the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect that not only the staff, but the management, particularly had on display that night for everyone. I would not bring my dog to this place much less a person I was trying to have a pleasant experience with or make a good impression on because it’s abundantly clear they do not give a crap about theirpatrons. I don’t know what the bill was, but the service did not meet the price. If you’re thinking about dining here don’t, stay home and Uber Olive Garden, and it will be much better than this place.

My experience was delicious. Every item I ordered was incredible . Venny was our waiter and gave us an exceptional service. He help the experience become the best dinner experience in all Texas . The Japan rib eye wagu was worth every dime . The bread pudding was delicious too. My mocktail was a lava and it was refreshing. I discovered this amazing “experience” in 2021 and have returned annually ever since from Indiana. The service has always been top notch. There is no wrong choice of food. The steak tartare is a 10 out of 10. Drinks are all fabulous. Crab cake melts in your mouth. And at the suggestion of Hector, I discovered caviar bites during this visit. Let me just say, WOW!

My fiancé is a chef at a 5 star restaurant. We are in town for from South Florida for the Final 4. We were dressed business casual - which in South Florida standard with dress shorts. We walked in @ 2pm - the restaurant was dead. The hostess would not let us sit due to my khaki shorts. Now I get a dress code. Most places enforce that at dinner - especially when it’s busy. But I was taken back by that declination. I won’t go back and give them my business with pants on. Owners should be advising their staff that discretion can be used in these circumstances. Middle of afternoon - lunch - dead - and you tell a patron they can’t sit in an empty restaurant due to khaki shorts. I’m Sicilian - Sicilians - Italians - would never turn away a patron in this situation. I sat at the bar - the food was good. The Bartender was great. We spent $300 and I tipped the bartender 30%. The hostess was obnoxious and snooty. I never spent the time typing reviews. This is a first.

In the 4 days I stayed in Houston, we went to four separate high-end steak restaurants, and the best and delicious steak was here. Steak 9/10 Servis 8/10 Sweet 8/10 Garnitures 9/10 Wine list 8/10 Positive quality/price ratio

All the food was top tier and delicious! Our waiter Venny made our night perfect! We had the crab cake appetizer, Caesar salad, filet mignon, potatoes au gratin, and creamed spinach. The strawberry creme brûlée was the best I had.

Each time we come to Vic & Anthony’s, at least every other month, we experience the best service EVER! This time was no different! Our server was Venny and he did not fail to deliver. As a matter of fact, while we love the bone in ribeye steak, creamed spinach, all the salads and cocktails, we have NOT been pleased with the desserts. A couple of years ago, Vic and Anthony’s got rid of some fabulous desserts; the chocolate mousse cake, the red velvet cake and I believe they had a carrot cake at one point. Each time we visit Vic and Anthony’s, we ask about their desserts. We’ve spent hundreds of dollars just trying out their desserts and not liking them. The taste and quality just never added up to what they use to have on the menu. Each visit, we complain about why they took all the good deserts away! The customers are not ordering the desserts because they are good, we are just ordering because we are hopeful they would introduce better desserts to the menu. Well, on our last visit, our Server Venny talked us into trying the chocolate tiramisu cake and although I was skeptical, this cake was absolutely marvelous!!!!! Not as good as the chocolate mouse cake they removed from the menu, but it is definitely a step in the right direction! Please bring back the tasty desserts! Your loyal customers would definitely appreciate it! We don’t want to leave a fabulous steak dinner at Vic and Anthony’s and have to go down the street for dessert.

i’m a tough critic on steaks and i most say the steak was excellent. I’m the top 3 of steaks i’ve ever had. The medium rare steak was phenomenal. The service was great. Will definitely return.

I first want to thank my Mandy my AWESOME waitress. She was attentive, knowledgeable, respectful and kind. Food was tasteful and a great size portion. I recommend this location to all. Lastly, the bartender whomever he/she/they are did great as well on the sidecar and old fashion.

Vic & Anthony's is a very special restaurant to us in Houston (we got married there in 2015), so when I was planning a dinner for my husband's 40th birthday, it was a no brainer to reach out to them. Katelynn was incredible to work with and she was so kind and patient as I sent millions of questions as we finalized the menu. She was so responsive and helped ensure all of the details were taken care of before the event. The actual event could not have gone any better than it did. We had 19 people in attendance and Mike and Tim were phenomenal servers. They were so attentive and kind and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a wonderful dinner. If you are looking for somewhere to host a private event, I highly recommend the team at V&A. We have talked about it nonstop the last two days and I cannot thank the team enough for such a great celebration!

No exaggeration to say this was one of the best meals I've ever had. It was simple enough, a filet mignon with a side of wild mushrooms, but both elements were of such high quality and prepared with such a high degree of expertise that the pairing was sheer perfection. My companions were equally pleased with their choices, including my partner's comment that the Moscow Mule from the bar was the best he'd ever had. Dessert was stunning, both visually and on the palate. The level of service is extraordinary. It's such a relaxing pleasure to be surrounded by ample, well-trained staff. It's not the first time we've dined at this restaurant, nor will it be the last, but I always enjoy the warm greetings from multiple staff members, and their equally warm thanks and farewells. It's a little thing, but it's the attention to the little things that sets this restaurant apart and makes it special.

Tired of so much meat I came here to ask for fish... the catch of the day. They gave me a helping of Mahi mahi or lemon fish, with vegetables and asparagus pretty good. They have a good selection of wines. The service, perfect.

I took a couple of clients out for dinner at Vic & Anthony’s and was blown away. Our experience was fantastic, food amazing, but our server, Vinny, really was outstanding. He was very attentive and quite funny. My clients and I enjoyed imported Japanese wagyu that he suggested as an off-menu feature and a fantastic bottle of wine I had never tried before, Adaptation. I will for sure be coming back with to entertain clients, as well as for special occasions and will ask for Vinny again. Overall fantastic evening! Thank you!

Everything was perfect including our waitress Lindsey when I go back there I will not have anyone else as my waitress or waiter again I'm going to ask for her specifically she's the best she went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. we will be back and we want you Lindsey.

Went to the Astros game to see our boys play the Sox from the Windy City. Unfortunately Johnny Cueto (look him up ladies) kept the Stros from doing what they do best: win baseball games. After the game we walked over for a nice dinner and drink. That’s the first hit: the steakhouse is within walking distance from the ball park. From the first step inside it was five star service and five star taste all the way. Second hit: The drinks were expertly concocted. We had old fashioneds and Martinis just like they make in the big city! The third hit was the service. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. They helped us with our order and even how best to course the salad and sides. The last hit was a home run: the Texas waygu. You gotta try it! It was one of the most delicious steaks we had ever had. It was so good, in fact, we had forgotten all about the game and were dreaming of a waygu life in Texas!

Amazing!!! We went for a birthday and engagement celebration combo and our server Venny was amazing! He was very thoughtful and attentive with great recommendations. Our favorites were the crème brûlée, filet mignon with the bacon bleu cheese butter (thanks for the recommendation venny), and the scallops. All around great meal! Yeehaw!

Service was top notch - they were not only looking for whether you enjoyed the meal, but if you were 'Wow"d by it. Steaks melted in our mouths and the Bacon Appetizer was incredible to try.

We normally visit Vic & Anthony's for 2/3 special occasions a year. We actually went in March of this year it was excellent compared to the subpar experience we received Saturday evening. My fiancé had called in advance to reserve for my birthday, there was no reservation. We are also Landry's members still no table available. Let's talk about the food, they updated the menu recently, the prime ribeye is now super large and of course more expensive and was literally so tough it was difficult to eat. Definitely was not what we are used to at all. I do not mind paying the price, but the quality has to be worth it. Next the dessert menu has changed they no longer have the red velvet or chocolate cake anymore. Was extremely disappointed we will definitely be choosing a new place for our extra special occasions.

We had a great dinner for my son's 28th birthday. The steaks were HUGE and seasoned so well. The sides were enormous and 3 was PLENTY for the 5 of us. We enjoyed the specials and our server, Kelpie was fantastic and very available. You'll be completely satisfied when you leave.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was his first time. I we’ll start with the downside, if there is an Astros game going on..you may want to come earlier just to wait in the Valet line. We waited about 15 mins. But other than that, we loved our service by Kelbie. She was the absolute best that made our night! Her quickness and positive energy was just right. I do recommend requesting her if you are looking for excellent service! Food was good, live music was playing, overall a great experience.

Kelbie was truly amazing! My now fiancé and I went there for dinner before the arrival of our son. She recorded the proposal and was in on it the whole time, on top of being an amazing server. This was our first time at this location. Such a great atmosphere. Lindsey was our server and she was next level. Personality and great service with a smile. She suggested the lobster bisque to pair with my meal. Great suggestion. The wine pairing was spot on as well.

Vic & Anthony’s never disappoints! However the night we went we had Kelbie as our waitress and she was hands down phenomenal! The service was absolutely spot on and even though she had multiple tables she made me feel that I got the attention I needed! The food was heavenly!! Strongly recommend the lobster bisque, ribeye with blue cheese, and croissant bread pudding! Absolutely loved our waitress, Kelbie. If you’re able to request her, she is fabulous. She gave great recommendations, had a positive and joyful demeanor, and was so patient and helpful. My husband and I, along with two other couples, visited this restaurant last month for an evening out. Overall, we enjoyed a pleasant meal, with the food standing out as truly excellent. However, the service fell short in several ways, detracting from what could have been a great experience. Toward the end of our dinner, each couple still had a substantial portion of our side dishes left—easily half or more on every plate. Without so much as asking if we were finished, our server abruptly cleared them away. This not only felt rushed but also deprived us of the chance to take the leftovers home, especially given the high quality of the food. If the restaurant has a policy against takeout or removing unfinished dishes, it wasn’t communicated to us. In any case, clearing plates without confirming with guests is poor service and unacceptable. More concerning was an incident during the meal when I slipped and fell while walking to the restroom. The transition from the carpeted dining area to a hard surface caused my foot to slide out from under me, resulting in a hard fall and a large bruise on my hip. Several diners and our waiter kindly helped me up, but the waiter’s casual remark blaming the fall on a small sticker on the bottom of my shoe came across as dismissive, ignoring what seemed like a clear hazard on the floor. Disappointingly, no manager approached to check on me, offer an apology, or take any responsibility for guest safety—especially surprising at a highly regarded establishment like this one. Afterward, I reached out to management to share these concerns, but the response was unhelpful and ineffective, leaving me even more disappointed. While the cuisine shines, improvements in service and attentiveness could elevate the overall dining experience.

The service and food are second to none. Inviting atmosphere and exquisite attention to detail. It’s a great place for a business meal or a private event for your large group!

We had the best time at Vic & Anthony’s before the symphony thanks to our waitress Kelbie! She recommended the quail and crab cake for appetizers and they were delicious. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I's anniversary evening was perfect! The food and cocktails were devine. I started with A5 Old fashioned and my husband had a Whistle Pig 18 on a big rock. We then moved on to appetizers when our server Vinny suggested we have champaign and caviar. Both were outstanding. We then shared a Tomahawk chop with the BEST Au Gratin potatoes I've ever had and a massive lobster tail as a surf-n-turf suggestion for the phenomenal Vinny. We were so happy to have had such a wonderful meal with fantastic service to boot. We will definitely be back, as we both agree this was on of the best meals we've ever had together. Amazing first Meal in Houston (jetlagged after a 17 hour flight). HUGE portions (we are so sad we couldn't finish it all) - Amazing service by David who was super attentive without being intrusive. Venny has exceptional service skills. My husband and I came in late (10:15pm) after a concert at the House of Blues. He served us as if we had 7pm reservation. Never did he made us feel rushed or bothered by our late arrival. Recommendations were on point and based on personal experience which made us trust his choices. Enjoyed a delicious and tender Filet Mignon plus Lump Crab accompanied by hot au gratin cheesy potatoes with freshly buttery asparagus as side dishes. Took our family to celebrate their anniversaries. Everyone had a great meal, great wine and service. Appetizers were great too. The only glitch was after being told we are VIPs and valet was free, we waited 20 min for our car, then two guys just talked to each other instead of holding the door open—kind of a bitter end to a great evening. Very unlike Landry’s.

This restaurant blew my socks off, and I have been to some of the best steakhouses in Colorado Los Angeles, and New York. Dominique, who was our our server made us feel so at home felt so cared for the excellence that he provided was top drawer. Everyone who came by our table or brought anything was Absolutely perfection. The whole staff status within seconds of our arrival it was clean. It was beautiful. The music was fun. We had one of the best celebrations we’ve had in our family at this steakhouse largely due to Dominique‘s professionalism and graciousness. He was spectacular.

After a tough day, we decided to treat ourselves to a great meal. Sonya was our server and is so attentive and friendly. The red snapper, wedge salad, steak, and chocolate dessert were all amazing. The salad and dessert are plenty big enough to split. A little loud at night so ask for a back table.

Both the steak and lobster had excellent flavor and were cooked perfectly to order. The side were just as tasty. Would highly recommended requesting Edgar for a waiter. He was fantastic…very personable, knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations and was very accessible as needed. A true pro!

Six of us were not disappointed... seating was prompt, table was immaculate, and the food was impeccable... Our server Gilreath painted pictures with his descriptions and led all services... which, gave us the ability to focus on our business-related topics... he created the right mood and timed everything perfectly... I would highly recommend requesting this individual for business and pleasure... our overall experience was outstanding, and the right energy was created at the right times... Wine service is top notch and Management was right there with them... perfect place to entertain and enjoy.

The food, we ordered the ribeye (medium rare), crab cake, shrimp scampi (had the most delicious seared garlic chips), and potatoes Au gratin (my girl loved these, oh and broccoli blanched to a buttery perfection!!!! 2 cocktails, very refreshing as it reminded me of being on a Croatian beach, very revitalizing!! Idk all around 10/10 experience, if you love GOOD tasteful food please drop in!

stopped in here for a drink and dessert after dinner elsewhere with clients. It was the closest top tier place and an easy walk. The bar was nearly full, and the service was attentive and on point. The wine (by the glass) list was short and not that impressive, not on par with similar priced steak places. I ordered the top of the stack and it was all right - not a disappointment, but, I would have enjoyed a tier above, and would have gladly payed for it. The steaks I saw presented to others in the bar looked and smelled great, but once again, not anything over the top. The big problem was the music, live keyboard and vocalist, with heavy recorded backing tracks. The music was pop from 10 - 25 years ago, but not at all the style you expect in a steakhouse like this, and it was WAY TOO LOUD. Those of us at the bar had difficulty placing drink orders with the bar staff and didn't even try to converse with each other. I guess if I just want to eat/drink alone that's fine, but part of what draws some of us solo diners to a setting like this, is the chance to encounter another solo traveler with an interesting story or perspective. Overall, there was nothing wrong and nothing at all right about this visit.

I came in to have a nice dinner with some friends of mine. Kelbie was a wonderful waitress and made sure our time was well spent. Kelbie also gave us a wonderful run down on the wine selection and we are very impressed by the detail we were given. We will be returning on our next girls trip and hope to have Kelbie as our waitress.

I travel a ton for work and Vic & Anthony’s is one of the best steakhouses in the country. The ribeye couldn’t have been better or more flavorful, and our table ordered a variety of sides that were perfect. You could blindly order any of them off the menu and not be disappointed. We were supposed to come here for a nice dinner and we’re staying at the Westin next door. Instead, one of our party got sick and we were not able to make it. Fortunately, they do takeout and it was easy to place an order at the bar, allowing us to have an extremely nice steak and sides back in our hotel room.
