Fun place~ Good Beer~ Average Food

By Jane C |

We came here before a flyers game because there are not too many choices! Beer is great, lots of options and keep in mind it is all their beer~ The food is very average, 4 of us and we all felt the same way especially for the price~ All in all... Just average!

Great Before the Game!

By Lisa C |

Had dinner here before a Phillies game. Great food and beer. And the service was wonderful. They made a mistake with my meal and I didn't have to complain, they realized and fixed it immediately.

Tasty Beers

We had beers prior to a Phillies game. Loved the music, games and atmosphere. Beers were great. The bar was well run even with a good-sized crowd.

Golden Monkey

By Shopaholic_x0 |

I love Victory Beer. This place has a good beer list, one of my personal favorites is Golden Monkey. This place is a fun stop there's almost always a live band on the weekend.

Fun atmosphere, but the extra carding was not appreciated.

I was at Infinity Live! because my parents were picking up numbers for the Philadelphia Love Run at a tent next to the Infinity Live! building. Upon entering the Infinity Live! building, I showed my ID to demonstrate I was 21+. After showing ID, I received an orange wristband. I walked into Victory Beer Hall because it was the first bar to my left. It was a typical crowded sports bar with a fun and exciting atmopshere. It was lit up well and it had tv's everywhere for people to watch the games. At this time, it was for the hockey games. I walked up to the bar and requested a cider and showed my wristband. Regardless of the fact that ten feet away I showed my ID to prove I was 21+ and got a wristband, I still had to show my ID. Later on I see a guy show his wristband and the bartender did not ask him to show his ID. This did not sit well with me. The whole time I was there it felt like the bartender did not want me there. The cider was great, it was Mackenzie's Black Cherry on draft and it was fabulous. Overall, it felt like such a fun place to have a drink; I wish I had a better experience to share.

Okay before a stadium event.

By DoylestownTraveler |

Food isn't bad. Sandwiches, appetizers, drinks... I wouldn't really recommend as a place to go out for dinner. It's more of a place before and after stadium events. Prices are around stadium prices, they may offer specials at other times. Seating is bench or picnic table style.

Come here for the beer and tolerate the food

By Five_Aces_Tx |

Nice place to stop for craft beers before the game. Bench seating and while it wasn't that loud/crowded for a last place Phillies game, I can see how it might get a little crazy in here for an Eagles game. Many beers to choose from and prices are about average. The food is absolutely nothing special.

Great food pricey but that's sports clubs

By Tullamore0506 |

Food was delicious!! Chicken vegetable soup was really good. Fill up the bowl please I love broth !! Very pricey but that's what you pay when your in sports centers & concert settings. I loved the turkey burger $15 I wish it came with something. Hubbs burger came with FF I Had a side salad $7 which consisted of lettuce only & 2 pieces of cucumber as I don't like tomato !! I had to ask girl for onion and she brought me some no problem ! I really enjoyed my meal there about a 35 minute wait which was not that bad!! The seating style is a little different your all sitting together next to your neighbor!! Will definitely come back here again I enjoyed the food and wait staff were very friendly all over the front etc!!

Its OK

Service was excellent, location was great for pre-concert meal. Food was average and the beer was great with one exception. The dry Irish stout that our waitress described at “closest to Guinness” was way off. Nothing at all like Guinness...watery consistency and it tasted awful.

Good food. Good beer.

Located near the stadiums, and easy to get to. The food was good, and the menu would accommodate any taste. The beer menu is extensive, and includes a lot of local brews in addition to their own. Prices are reasonable.

THE NEW MENU IS UNIMAGINATIVE AND SEVERAL STEPS BACKWARDS!

By Randel W |

For years, the Victory Brew Hall at Xfinity was our go to place for dinner before Flyers games: great beer, great service, and a good selection of excellent food. Within the last few weeks a new menu has been adopted. In comparison to previous offerings, this menu is limited, unimaginative and quite forgettable. Who ever came up with this menu does not understand the meaning of creative. VERY DISAPPOINTING... time to frequent another restaurant or start eating at the Wells Fargo Center.

Great beer

Went here when visiting Xfinity live before a Flyers game. The seating is long tables like a beer hall, also booths and tables. Great selection of beer and the food we had was very good. The burgers are huge. Great atmosphere with lots of TV's.

Awesome place!

By Shannon K |

Victory beer hall is located inside Xfinity Live. It's a great place to come before or after a game or if the games are away, it's a great place to go watch a game! Great place!

Great venue for pre game

By GJC1972 |

Great place for some drinks before a Philly’s game. Good atmosphere, busy but not too busy with plenty of options for food and drinks.

Fun place to have a beer and some quick food before a game!

By goodshink |

We went here for a drink and a quick bite to eat before the Army/Navy game. It's a quick walk to Lincoln Financial Field from here. The food was just ok but the prices were very reasonable.

Group get together before concert.

By faaradar |

This place is in Xfinity complex which appears to be only real option for group get togethers close to one of the arenas next door. Large Tables for groups. I had reserved some space for a AC\DC get together and overall went pretty well. It did take a while before they played requested music but we got it worked out and they did start playing requested music. Do suggest in the future that if requested , play the bands music in concert that night almost exclusively. If 80% of people there want the bands music then play it %80 of the time. Also, the waitress said separate checks were not an option. This definitely caused an issue since many people did not have cash. I ended up paying majority of the $350 bill myself due to this . I am OK with it but others may not be.

Fun atmosphere for a beer - attentive wait staff

By Sambo836 |

Chicken ca prese sandwich and brownie hop devil dessert were top two winners ... Steak sandwich was literally a steak and had to be eaten with a knife and fork, cold beers after a winning Flyers made for a fun environment- family style seating. We had Heather as our waitress and she was great!

In Xfinity Live

Good beer choice, a bit overpriced but I guess you have to pay the rent in Xfinity center. Typical bar food, nothing special. A good stop before our Eagles game visit.

Terrible food, great beer!

By Nonenone20 |

Third time I have eaten there and always extremely dissappointed (been to both locations) this review is from the Philly locations. This time I ordered a turkey and avacado sandwich, sadly it came with no avacado. They were nice enough to bring it out but it had so much lime juice that I could even smell it. Also my sandwich was one piece of stale bread and one piece was almost soggy. Needless to say that was my last try. For $14, I would rather just have a beer and take my chances with a soft pretzel on the street. Beers are great but can't figure out how their food can be that bad!

Disappointed with meal and beer

By medfordnjmom |

Looked like a fun place with long wooden tables and being called a beer hall I figured we’d get good beer! We wanted a quick dinner before a show and stopped here on a Thursday night. Seated immediately and the waitress was nice. Ordered a Blue Moon and it was flat! Disappointed! And the orange slice still has the item tag on it which leads me to believe it wasn’t even washed . Ewww. Hoped the alcohol killed the germs! Got the skinny turkey sandwich and they weren’t kidding-it was skinny to the point of being nothing! Supposedly there was avocado on it. No slices-maybe a teaspoon of avocado spread here and there. Little bit of sliced turkey. The whole grain bread was more like a wheat version of wonder bread. Completely underwhelming and disappointing. One good thing—the fries were thin and crispy and tasty! End result though-I will not go back.

Very Casual

By trip0809 |

Extremely casual. Seating is picnic tables or pub seating. Service was a little rushed. Good for something quick before a concert or game.

Salty fries and tough meat

By hoopscoach-dmar |

My wife and I went to Infiniti in South Philly to find a place to eat. The 76ers were playing at the Wells Fargo center so there was a $20 charge for parking. Unless you came after 8, in which the parking was free. We found a parking spot, but had to pay $10. It was a long walk. There was lots of broken glass in the lot. We settled on the Victory Beer Garden. My wife ordered the pastrami Reuben with fries and I had the pork bbq with cheese and fries. We live in Delaware near OC and we are used to malt vinegar on our fries. It is also common to add the malt vinegar when you are in New England. Apparently they don't do this in Philadelphia. In any event the fries were way too salty to enjoy. The pork and the pastrami were both tough and hard to chew. This may be a fun hang out before games, but the food at victory beer garden was very average. The bar closed early and we felt rushed to finish our food and leave. I'm not sure how safe it is, but we were relieved to get to our car safely and get back to our hotel. We would not recommend Victory for the food and the inconvenient parking.

Great spot for dinner and drinks

By alex s |

Great spot to eat and drink. Had the cinnamon apple whiskey and it was great. Pretzel with cheese was excellent and the food we ordered was all done great

Cool place to hang before a game or concert !

By Jerseyguy445 |

Cool bar to hang out ! Great beer selection and average food selection. Cool Jenga games on the patio to play while you drink. Good bands on the weekend and a ton of room to hang out. In the Xfinity plaza a must stop on game day !

Great place for beer before Flyers game

By 3RedDoxies |

Victory Beer Hall is in Xfinity Live area. Great place to go before a Flyers game - good atmosphere to hang out. You can try most of the Victory beers there.

Good Enough for the Beer Crowd

By TommyBoy94 |

Tucked inside the amped up and fun XFINITY LIVE in South Philadelphia, this place tries to imitate a german beer hall with its long wooden tables and so forth. The huge variety of beers should appeal to the 20 something and 30 something types who seemed to have latched totally on to craft brews these days. Personally when I am down at the Stadium, I care more about the ERA than the IPA, but these young 'uns can certainly was eloquently (Or at least endlessly) about hops and malt. The service is good, the food is average Philly tavern quality (Tasty enough) and the prices are at least not as expensive as inside the sports venues.

expensive great beer

By KG42 |

Beer place located in Xfinity Live in South Philly in the middle of the three stadiums. The beer selection is great (other kinds of craft beers are sold along with the Victory menu. Definitely fun to visit before a game at one of the stadiums. Worth a visit a couple times a year. Keep in mind, VERY EXPENSIVE

Pretty good

By Jake23 |

A nice beer hall in the Xfinity complex. I am not sure how it compares to the other bars in the complex but Victory was pretty good. They brew there own beers as well.

Great Before Concert!

By Taylor Rae |

What a cool place! Located right inside Xfinity Live. Extremely packed before a concert so get there early or expect to wait/stand. Prices are fairly high for both food and drinks. Foods good- nothing to write home about but the bartenders were great! Beer is awesome!! Will be back!

Joe & Mel's Engagement

By Vincent B |

Fantastic beers and just a great place to meet friends. Our son chose this location to surprise our future daughter-in-law with an engagement ring with many of their friends around. For two micro-brewery connoisseurs, this was a great venue.

Good Food, Good Beer

By kihyland |

We stopped in here before a Philly's game for a quick bite. The food was good (we had hot wings and roasted brussels sprouts), and the beer was cold. My husband enjoyed their beers (I'm not a beer drinker) and said they were good craft beers. The food offerings are not large, but perfect for a snack before a game.

Random place to grab a drink

By 716paul |

I was very excited to see all the stadiums on a trip to Philly. We didn't even know there was a sports bar in the middle of it all. Had a great midday drink and sat for a while. Seemed dead on non game days. Perfect spot to sit and enjoy the weather outside. Great local beer selection too.

Great Beer and food choices but scorcher should mean HOT!! No?

By glr30 |

Went on a recent Friday night with 16 people and had a great time - Good Beer choices and great selection of food. Ordered the Wings with the Scorcher sauce and it WAS NOT HOT.... so sad. I figured the word scorcher means something
