First stop upon arriving in Dallas. City hostess had reservations for 3pm. Place was already crowded with lively groups of people all over the restaurant, in & outside. We chose to stay inside because of the heat but the heat did not deter the many dining on the patio. The decor was simple, trendy but comfortable. The wait staff was attentive. Two of us ordered the chimichurri carne asada medium rare with potatoes. Out came two beautiful pieces of steak that was cooked to perfection. The drinks however were very expensive not not too tasty.

Watch your credit card statement after you go here. I was double charged, took my statement showing the double charge on the same day and a friendly understanding attitude to Aldo the manager and he blamed it on my major credit card company for the error and neither took care of the error, nor did he take responsibility and apologize. He said I had to deal with my credit card company and that they get dozens of charge backs every day like this, which is code for "don't trust us with your credit card folks." So instead of crediting me $30 and saving a customer, one who caters large lunches in for his employees, he loses me, everyone I know who I will tell about it, and more bad publicity. Not the way to run a business during a rough COVID year.

this place is lively and appears like a popular place to hang out and drink. Dining there seems a little more problematic. Service was not the most attentive - drinks and ordering took awhile and for one of the diners the food came out incorrect and it was not fixed. The flavor of the food was okay. The one bright star was the bubbly hot queso.

I reserved a table to 20 for my hubby's bday. It was awesome! The bartender, Bill, was so wonderful!! The waiter was on top of it! Nobody was waiting for food while others were done! The manager came over to make sure everything was good! The service was impeccable, the food was yummy and Bill makes the best drinks I have ever had!!

I kind of expect to be overcharged for cocktails in the city. However, when the environment is so-so and the drink matches, I get disappointed. The first floor here is attractive but bar was full so we sat at the second floor bar and ordered Casa Migos margaritas. Bar was messy and each drink with heavy ice was 17$ after tip. We should have inquired about price before ordering, I suppose. We won't be back.

Excellent service, friendly staff. Although we waited about 45 minutes for 4, it was worth. As soon as we were seated a server was taking our drink. Everything went excellent from there.

Vidorra is a great little restaurant in Deep Ellum - solid Mexican food at more upscale prices. Our family split an order of family style fajitas and had plenty of food along with the chips and salsas. This is a place to see and be seen, in a vibrant area. As such, parking nearby may be tough, so plan accordingly. Also, be aware that it can be extremely loud as it has a bar vibe throughout the restaurant.

Loved this restaurant! The hot queso was terrific, meat very well seasoned. Elote (street corn) is very flavorful. I can’t say enough about this! Our server Mietzally was attentive and very sweet. They are dog friendly too. We were headed to another restaurant, and ended up over here - a super happy accident!

Went to Vidorra after church with my daughter and friend. Rooftop seating was very nice. We had a reservation but there was seating available. It was a relaxed atmosphere. Service and food were very good.

We had about a 30 minute wait but it was so worth it! The chips/salsa were amazing as well as the featured margaritas. My husband and I shared the fundido with chicken and it was more than enough to fill us both up. Be specific if you want extra tortillas, they charge .50c extra for each, which is fine but I would have told them exactly how many more we wanted rather than pay for some we didn't eat. Overall I would definitely be back and would recommend! They have a wonderful indoor outdoor patio on the first and 2nd floor that is covered but would be so nice on a warm day.

I just love this place. They have the perfect atmosphere for a night of fun. You can sit on the patio any season of the year. They have an awesome Happy Hour with $6 margaritas (my fave Vidorrita) and half priced appetizers. Speaking of half off, check out Margarita Mondays with half off margaritas. Cant wait to bring in my birthday in a few weeks. First stop VIDORRA!

We loved the design of the building. Our service was great. Our food and drinks were just wonderful. And, there was parking next door. What more can you ask for.

I ate here Saturday night my bill came to $94 I left a cash tip I check my bank statement they added additional tip on my card making the total $110 when I called in to speak with manager the guy placed me on hold and now I can’t get answer from the business phone this is crap I’ve called over 20times I live out of state I’ve never experienced this in my life it’s disgusting I work hard for my money AVOID THiS SCAM or bring cash

Absolutely the worse DJ great spot and the DJ ruins the weekend for everyone who loves this place!! He sucks only plays techno, old reggaeton nothing NEW like bad bunny etc, plays bs Tex mex music mix in techno beats and very very old reggaeton he is by far the worse! He will clear the club quick, he sees ppls leaving because they become tired of the same music on replay and just choose ignore everyone and rather NOT read the room! Please do better and get a new DJ

Loved this place. It's a bit younger crowd. Diminique at the bar was Amazing! She was on her game and very pleasant. The food was delicious! Music was great. I am in my 50s and I love the place. Dominque ROCKED IT!!!+

The burrito was deeeeelicious! Had to come back on the next day for the exact same dish. It's crowded towards the night. Make a booking and while waiting you can enjoy some beers across the street!

Great Deep Ellum energy and vibe. You can walk past it if you’re not looking for the obscure but beautiful giant wooden door. Wonderful beef fajitas that melt in your mouth. Cheese queso dip served in hot bowl a must. Corn and flour tortillas are fresh and delicious. I would suggest asking for the spicier salsa.

DO NOT HO HERE. VISIBLE ROACHES, SPIDERS AND BUGS, you can only imagine what’s in the kitchen where we can’t see. ROACHES ALL OVER THE FLOOR SPIDERS ON THE WALL. we had a big bday party here the waiter put an ice water down on the table and it busted all over the bday girl in her bday outfit!! such a terrible place if i could leave 0 stars i would. save your time and money and go somewhere else. disgusting. staff was amazingly RUDE.

Good for a casual dinner. Busy restaurant with 3 sitting options. Indoor (dark and cool), patio (hot!) and upper floor (hot also!). Upper floor is also close for clubbing after 9pm, so it's pretty awkward when we are still eating and other people are starting to fill the place to dance and drink. The atmosphere and service is good. But the food is pretty average. Drinks are interesting and margaritas are never wrong.

Drinks in the beautiful downstairs courtyard, tasty chips and salsa and excellent meal of tacos made for a very relaxing stop as we traversed the Deep Ellum on a Saturday afternoon.

Excellent hand crafted margaritas in a relaxed environment with both a patio and rooftop area, Shrimp fajitas were excellent as well. A little higher in price but well worth it! I would recommend to family and friends.

I was waiting for some friends to go upstairs and As the group came an employee asks are you with the promoters and I jokingly say duhh He right away snaps and says that’s why you were down here waiting! First things first even if I was serious he shouldn’t have snapped at any customer whatsoever your supposed to keep it professional as that being said I will not recommend anyone to Vidorra

The family and I had a super meal here. Our waiter was a super nice guy, talked about his college courses and major similar to folks in our family. The food was really good and the atmosphere was very nice. The outside seating was a plus and everyone we say was having a great time. This place will move to the top of the list of places to go in Deep Ellum.

Stopped here for tacos while in Deep Ellum. The food was flavorful. I loved the fried avocado tacos! The chips and salsa were great. The drinks were strong. I would definitely return!

Really loved this place. It’s new and hopping with fantastic blanco queso and stout margaritas. The cheese enchiladas were great. I usually don’t like ranchero sauce, but theirs is fresh and spicy. Great people watching.

Great food excellent selection beer tequila and mescal. Bartender Cocoa is awesome - attentive, professional, skilled, competent and made us feel completely welcomed

First time at Vidorra. I recommend this restaurant, not only the food is delicious and authentic Mexican, except for some dishes that are Tex Mex so if you want the authentic ask to remove the cheddar cheese, the ambience is so relax and different from any other place I have been . The patio downstairs has some chairs and then there are some sofas that you will not expect on a patio, but it gives it a very special touch. The back ground music keeps you moving but is at the right volume to were you can have a conversations . Natural flowers are part of the decoration and the service was exceptional . The upstairs patio has a nice view of Deep Ellum, and you can have a reservation to hold a party . Very nice and the food as well as the decoration is Authentic, starting with the beautiful door at the entrance . Servings are very generous. Salsa and chips excellent I could not stop eating and they keep serving you, they don't wait for you to ask for more , part of the great service. I had the ceviche, which was very fresh and also queso Oaxaca quesadillas!!!!

I was delighted by the food and moreso the drinks provided by Vidorra. I was sent here by the front desk staff at the Pittman Hotel.

Super fun spot to check out, great tacos and great margaritas. Definitely would come back again. The staff were friendly and service was fast too.

I SPENT $400 on my birthday dinner here and I made a reservation a week in advance! The waitress Farrah West was so rude she was upset because I asked for an extra chair she said no I cannot get an extra chair pulled because you said it would only be 10 ppl and I had an extra person. Keep in mind there was extra chairs available & she was so rude to me infront of all my guests on my birthday! My servation was from 6:30pm-8:30pm And she didn’t ask us what we wanted for dinner until 8pm so we didn’t have time to eat! The whole time she was being rude to all my guests asking them for ID’s and we are all over 30 yrs of age. The food was not what I expected at all none of my guests liked it! It was my first time and I didn’t want to leave much tip but they charge it on my bill so I had no other choice. Also they don’t divide the bill you have to pay it all with only one payment. The only reason I am giving this a one star is because there was a very nice gentleman downstairs named Xavier, he said management was busy but he will help me with getting an extra chair. So the waitress Farrah West told me no I couldn’t get a chair she said I had to go downstairs to request a change... keep in mind I was wearing heels and it was my birthday I wa so tired from running up and down those stairs to greet all my guests I didn’t get to enjoy my dinner at all thanks to her. I do not recommend this place at all!

We were actually on our way to Stirr when we happened upon Vidorra. We went up to the rooftop bar and had dinner and drinks. Great backdrop of the Dallas skyline and awesome food. I will definitely go back!

Loved this roof top patio with it´s stunning views of Dallas. Lots of really good Mezcal based cocktails and flaming bowls of Queso. Lots of good Tequilas with more than 50 bottles to choose from.

Really wanted to like this place, but the management is TERRIBLE. We were overcharged by only one margarita (no big deal, right?) and they refuse to take it off because we had already signed the receipt and left the restaurant (my husband signed the receipt and when he told me how much it was on the car ride home I called Vidorra to get the breakdown). When we told the manager, Marty, that we had thrown the receipt away upstairs she said she would email us a copy and "investigate." We never got an email or a follow up call so I called back today only for Marty to tell me that it's "my word against theirs" and that we had already signed the receipt so there's "nothing she could do about it." When I asked to talk to her boss, the GM, she said she was unavailable and that her boss was actually the one who told her to relay the feedback. She said if $10 is that big of a deal, she would check the cameras, which I obviously welcomed, but seriously??? You haven't checked the cameras and you're telling me it's my word against yours? I grew up working in restaurants and know how easily this could've been fixed. I've never had such a bad experience with a restaurant and am embarrassed for the the management that is running it.

Customer service is top tier at this place with lovely servers and complimentary nachos. The food is delicious and doesn’t come in ridiculous portions like other places. The cocktails are amazing and unique, my favourite was the Gold Digger.

Loved this place! Was in Dallas for a layover and had a local friend recommend this place. Service was great and vibes were incredible. Rooftop bar was closed due to covid, but indoor/outdoor patio was still great. Highly recommend!

I wanted a giant taco, and this restaurant delivered! My kids and husband ordered the normal, but I had my eye on the prize....which was a 3lb taco of awesome! I put some cheesy goodness on El Jefe from the 400° molcajete bowl of queso we ordered for my girls chips and the I washed that bad boy down with 3 of the best mixed drinks I have had in a long time(El Nalgon). SO FREAKIN GOOD!! We loved the staff, the atmosphere and pretty much everything elsee about this place.

Traveled to Dallas for a girls bachelorette trip and we decided to take the Bride to be out to a fun hip restaurant. We booked a table at Vidorra's and had an awful evening. Not only did our waiter mess up our food orders, the managers were no help. Female managers were standing at the bar , talking and flirting with guests and waitstaff while our server was running around. Food took forever to make it to our table and then when it arrived it was not that great. Drinks were watered down and took forever to get from the bar. Oh and to top it off, when we FINALLY got our checks we had food and drinks on our tab from different tables. The whole experience was awful. PLUS dinner took up 3 hours of our evening. AWFUL. AWFUL. AWFUL.

Drinks are good. Food is strictly okay. lot of great ambiance. friendly staff and lot of entertainment around.

Food was okay. What should have been a 1/1.5 hour lunch was a 3 hour ordeal. Well located and it's a nice establishment but the service was not the best.

Our family gathered for a post Christmas dinner at Vidorra are were not disappointed. We were seated on the enclosed patio, which is nicely decorated and comfortable once we were reseated out from under a very loud speaker. We started with the Queso Blanco, our daughter's favorite and of chips and 2 salsas - the green is the best!! All of the entries were delicious, the only negative was for the Tortilla Soup which was a bit too spicy and thick for my wife. Loved the happy hour appetizers!

I accidently left my debit card with the bill. When I realized about an hour after leaving I called and was told they don't look for cards until the end of the night and they would not look for it then and there. I left my name and number never heard back from them and proceeded to call 6 more times that same day as well as 6 times the following day leaving my information for them to contact me back. They never contacted me and now my debit card has hundreds of dollars in charges from viddora as well as other restaurants and bars in the deep ellum area. I will never be attending this restaurant again. As well as I will be filing a fraud report with the police and pressing charges. Thank you Viddora for absolutely nothing. Thank you for showing how you truly value your customers. I spent good money at your establishment and would expect as a customer for you to have done more than tell me you would not look for my card an hour after I left.

There is so much on this menu that we decided to have a few dishes to share. The burritos are very good and the avocado tacos were very tasty. Food prices were good but drinks prices were on the high side. However it’s a fun place to sit and chat with friends and worth a top if you are in the area.

We visited Vidorra on a Monday night. It was fairly busy but not crowded. The waitress was very friendly and told us some of her favorites when we asked. She brought chips and salsa, and took our order. I had the chimichurri carne Assad’s and it was delicious. My coworker ordered the watermelon and chicken salad and a taco. They both looked delicious as well. Didn’t try any cocktails tonight, but the table next to us ordered a Texas-sized margarita with 4 straws. We sat upstairs on the rooftop bar and the view of the sunset was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Dallas.

I really loved the drinks that were advised by our server Yanni. The girl knows her stuff. Food was great.

We tried Vidorra on our daughter’s recommendation. She and some friends had lunch there and enjoyed it. We tried it for dinner and found the atmosphere, drinks, and waitress service to be outstanding. Walking into Vidorra you immediately get a different feel than other Mexican restaurants. There is nice patio (they have ceiling misters going to deflect the heat) with a rectangle bar – half outside and half inside the restaurant. There is a little bit of a honey bee problem when we were there on the outside part of the bar, but if you don’t bother them, they won’t bite you. We did not have a reservation, but hoped it would be ok on a Wednesday night at 6pm. There seemed like several empty tables when we arrived, but the hostess said we would have to go on a wait list. She speaks softly and is hard to hear with the loud music. Also was not very friendly, but I thought maybe she was having a bad day and just thanked her and smiled. Anyway, we were fine with that and were texted that our table was ready about 25 minutes later. I had asked for an inside table, but the hostess sat us on the outside patio right behind where we were sitting at the bar (why would we even move?). My wife went back to the hostess stand and asked her if we could have an inside table as requested and she said yes, but we would have to go back on the waiting list again and it would be another 30 minutes. She then asked the hostess if we could have one of five empty tables between the kitchen and the hostess stand and she rolled her eyes and said with a rude tone they were all specifically reserved. First of all, you can’t reserve specific tables on Resy or Open Table and I doubt people called in to do that - especially in that area of the restaurant (most would want the main dining area). My wife then asked for the manager which she proceeded to go find. When he arrived, my wife explained the situation and he immediately apologized and said just to pick any of the 5 open tables we wanted. I know it is hard to get people to work in the service industry, but if she were my employee, she would have received counseling on how to act in a service industry and probably fired if it wasn’t her first time. I noticed another Yelp review commented on how rude she was in their visit. You don’t want your customer’s first impression at the hostess stand to be so negative! It impacts their entire evening. We later noticed the waitress seating an older couple next to the kitchen door, bypassing a couple of nice open tables. She later sat a young couple at one of the nicer open tables and then we saw her ask another young couple where they would like to sit and proceeded to pull a table for 2 out from a 6 top in the main dining room for them. Age discrimination or worse? The rest of the evening was very nice. We loved the ambiance and layout of the restaurant. A bit loud when trying to talk, but still fun. The manager was fantastic. He took our drink order after seating us and came by a couple of times to make sure we were happy. It was beyond what was needed and we really appreciated it. I hope he councils that young girl so she learns how to treat people/customers going forward of all ages and backgrounds. Our server at the bar, was great. She was apologetic about the bees and fun to talk with. At the table during dinner, our server Frida was fantastic. She was so upbeat, attentive, and helpful. The table and bar service here are outstanding and they know how to treat their customers. Vidorra has a great list of cocktails. We opted for some less sweet and really enjoyed the Julio Voltio, El Guapo, Vidorrita, and Chismoso. All excellent and we needed a few to get our positive mood back after the hostess experience. We also had the shrimp ceviche appetizer with our cocktails. It was pretty good, but in the very spicy category so be ready. Our dinner was ok, but not great. The “good guacamole” was pretty bland and tasteless I thought. My wife had the chipotle shrimp tacos and enjoyed them. I opted for the Skirt steak. It was cooked perfectly and presented like a work of art, but the taste was just ok and a little disappointing (also too many potatoes for anyone - they must throw out a lot each day). We also had a side of Elotes (street corn) which I highly recommend. I’d say give Vidorra a try for the ambiance, drinks and service. I bet a great happy hour place.

I would first like to say some of the best service I have ever had. The staff really goes out of their way to make you meal nice. Nice atmosphere. So my wife and I both made the avocado tacos. Beautiful presentation. My daughter and son in law loved their food. Mine was so so. Just didn’t a lot of flavor but that can happen with avocados. I would definitely go back. I would order something different but the staff is just great

My family & I came here 3-4 hours ago & was seated promptly. Waitress finally came & took order, after waiting an hr plus our food came out & it was obvious it had been sitting by the dried out presentation I sent EVERYTHING back for a refire only to wait another 30-45 minutes. I sent all plates back they were ALL filthy! Food coming out meal for meal still NO nachos after another hour of waiting asked was my bill being comes & it was but still no nachos the mgr told me so what are you going to do. I was like what do you mean? He said you need to pay this bill I said are you serious & were still sitting here now your rushing me to pay after this horrible experience! I will be contacting the owners as well as their corporate office because this is totally unacceptable!
Well we tried it...
I’ll start by saying this place came highly recommended... outside of the great decor and the Queso I’m not really sure why. Location was great- nice trendy area. The food, outside of the Queso blanco, left much to be desired. Their chips are store bought & extra salty. I only finished the Margarita because I looking for the tequila... never found it. The ambience is great but the place is so loud you have to scream at the person next to you to be heard. For as busy as they were our waiter was incredibly attentive. Why 3 stars? 1 for the decor & 2 for the Queso- it really was that good.
