This is one of our safes to go with everyone from old to kids. There is something from everyone from our favorite pasta fagioli soup to pizza and chicken plus their excellent salads. The servers are fast and efficient.

Villagio offers a quasi standard very basic italian menú, with no fancy dishes, with good food quality and presentation. The setting is nice, but when we went for a quite no rush dinner, we could not enjoy it completely because it was too crowded and noisy, and the waiters were running around, and not providing a decent service.

We had a good fresh from the wood burning oven ''Foccacia'' and fish of the served with potatoes and vegetables. Very simple food but authentic!

This is one of the best restaurants in Miami. The food is excellent, and the service is superb. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. I will definitely go back.

We go to Village of Merrick Park very often, since we like the shopping and ambiance. The restaurant is our favorite place to eat. The food is good, plentiful and always consistent with great choice of entrees, and fair prices. The restaurant is large with a good bar as well as outside area. We love the terrace since we always take our dog!!!

I've been to Villagio at Merrick Park many times, and its food standard is always great. From the classic risotto, to pizzas, veal and fish, everything is just delicious. The service is very good, and the ambience very nice. Wrapping everything up, Villaggio is a perfect choice for a perfect meal.

Very ordinary. The linguini vongole was tasteless and poorly seasoned although the clams were fine. Essentially pasta with oil. Huge place and the interior space is crowded. Price reasonable.

Il Villagio is a great restaurant for lunch and casual dinner. They have the best Burrata. The pizza is delicious, as well as theirr pasta. I highly recommend the Veal Marsala ans the Agnolotti Magnifico (with pink sauce). This restaurant has a very nice selection of wines and champagne. Last but not least: Bruno is the best waiter. He will serve your dishes exactly as you request them. Enjoy!

This is a family favorite. Indoor and outdoor dinning. It has simple and healthy choices like pastas, calamari, many fish and seafood dishes and pizzas. The best part is the bruschetta served when you just sit down.

I've been coming here for years already! Since I was in high school and the food is always on point. They're usually very busy, but that doesn't mean the service or quality of the food lessens. The dishes come out very quickly and they taste amazing. Never have I had a bad experience, bad meal, etc. Delicious Italian food, and not expensive at all!

Went with my grandparents and mother, ordered the calamari as appetizer, can never go wrong, batter wasn't to heavy! Had the salad as my main meal, shared the mushroom salad with my mother, only place I have had a mushroom salad that I loved! It comes with a small arugula salad and some parmesan on the plate, great meal or appetizer, depending on your diet! My grandfather ordered the vongole pasta, amazing seafood - very fresh and so much pasta it's good for several people! The manager was nice and sent us a dessert on the house! Cortadito came very very hot! Will def be back again!

I am a big fan of Villagio and always recommend to my friends visiting Miami. It is not fine food, but I always tell people that they will eat well and pay a very reasonable price. However this time we were unlucky. Service was terrible. We had to chase the waiter constantly, even for basic things like the focaccia they usually serve complimentarily (all tables around us got it and we had to repeatedly ask for it). The fresh tuna in my salad was inedible. Dishes for kids which are “1/2” actually cost 3/4 of full price - waiter discourages sharing a full dish. Unfortunately a series of mistakes that turned this experience bad.

Good service, but not amazing food. Menu is ok but food could be more tasty... maybe more salt and pepper? Its an ok Mall Restaurant.

Very good Italian restaurant Very nice menu The service is ok The price is ok The local is nice Try the pasta...

Great place to celebrate that special occasion. Food is tasty, service is wonderful, and the Chianti is very good. Sit away from the brickoven pizza oven and you should be fine. In the winter dine alfresco and enjoy the stars.

Nice place, great food, wonderful people. Really an excellent option to visit even if you are a Miami resident or a visitor. One of my family favorite places.

We dined there for our office holiday party and it was our second time there. We had a reservation for 20 and when we got there it was ready to go and we had a lovely table setup outside as requested. Service was good and attentive. They came by often and we never had to wait for things. We ordered appetizers and those came out timely. Their appys are amazing, we had the calamari, the mozzarella, and something else that escapes me. The food looked delicious. I will say I was not fond of what I ordered, it just seemed something was missing, I had the Linguine Vongole with clam sauce. It was ok just wasnt great. Others food was good according to them. We were there for approx 3 hours or so and were never rushed and had great service throughout. Overall I wouldnt mind eating there again but I would just order something else. Mind you its not really expensive but its not cheap either. Definitely a must try if you are in the village.

The restaurant is located at high end shopping center. You can choose between inside or outside dinning. The food is excellent. The tortellini aurora are great.

If the weather is beautiful and you wish to dine in a romantic atmosphere the Village is an amazing restaurant. I ordered a Italian salad and a pizza to share.I asked for gluten free , but they do not carry it. We had so much food that we took home half of the pizza. This little gem is like dining on the streets in Italy. After you eat, you can walk off the calories at the mall.

This restaurant has a nice crowd, specially on weekends. The food is abundant and Good. The menu is very complete for all tastes.

The food and setting at Villagio are both very nice. My mushroom linguine was nicely al dente and the salmon carpaccio very tasty (thinly sliced as I like it). But the service was the real highlight. Very attentive and pleasant.

I was so excited to try Villagio and it was such a let down. We couldn't get a table inside so we sat outside, when it was like 55°. The cello was lovely but sitting right next to it, not so much. I couldn't even talk with my husband without shouting. I might as well have been eating solo Our waiter had too many tables and was not attentive at all. The food was not that great at all, especially for how much our bill was. Next time we are in Miami looking for Italian, we will look elsewhere.

Went here last night for dinner. The place was packed both inside and outside but because it is so large we still dined comfortably. We ordered some a Chianti and a Malbec and they brought some warm bread as well as ciccio and bruschetta tomatoes. For our main we had manicotti (a type of large rectangular gnocchi like pasta stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese then covered with Parmesan and baked), risotto with porcini mushrooms, pepperoni pizza and fettucine in Alfredo sauce with chicken for the children. The food was delicious and felt like homemade comfort food. Our server brought a refreshing after dinner drink complimentary which was like a palate cleanser. We then ordered a chocolate fondant like cake which was pure pleasure. The service was quick, the atmosphere was lively but not noisy and the staff were very attentive and hospitable. We will definitely go here again.

The service was terrible. My dish was only pasta. The other ingredientes of my dish were in a very small amount

Villagio is one of those places to which my wife and I tend to go back. It has great service and good food. I have had the Osso Buco, Rissoto and other dishes I have had there have always been very good. Service, to, is very good. Overall, I would say the quality of the food is slightly higher than Flemings and the service a notch above as well, with the prices much more reasonable. After a few hours of Shopping, or to cap a busy work day, I can recommend Villagio.

Villagio at Merrick Park in Miami is one of those places where the whole family enjoys their meal. The food is just like a home-cooked meal made by Nonna, simple and delicious. The service is prompt and the place is a good option for a quick lunch.

Wonderfully prepared dishes, second to none. Attentive and courteous staff catering to your every whim. Food quality is superb, presentation awesome and portions just right. Try the lasagna or any of the veal choices, you will not be disappointed. Bar service is also excellent and for dessert, the Tartuffe is not to be missed. Have visited the Merrick Park, Dadeland and Sawgrass Mills locations and the quality is the same in all three. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed my first visit here. Very nice selection of Italian entrees. Service slightly slow. Indoor seating very noisy and lacking acoustic treatments. I will try outdoor seating when it's not too hot out there.

Good food and atmosphere, i would say it a little pricey for the quality, but I would return in the future.

My appetizer was smelly and tasteless, mussels and Scallops with very red and very acid tomato sauce This type of restaurant is for persons not knowing Italian food. The Red Snapper was fresh, but it have the same tomato sauce. The best was our service. Needs creativity and a manager with better public relations!

When shopping it usually is easy to find fast food but if you want something more substantial with style then Villagio is the answer. This is of course if you are shopping at the Village at Merrick Park. Good choice of standard Italian dishes with a good choice of wine by the glass. Service smooth and efficient.on our list to return when next shopping at the Mall.

We order food to take to my nephew and was very good. We order lasagna and the place is very nice for lunch with umbrellas also

The food here was very good. The service was amazing! The servers and busboys were very attentive and had great recommendations. The gnocchi was delicious.

What should have been a wonderful evening celebrating my nephews college graduation was anything but! Despite having a reservation ( granted it was for a party of 12) half the seats at the table were folding chairs! Service overall was slow, and aa the dinner was being served was when we were told that they did not have the lasagna that my 11 year old niece ordered. Twenty minutes later they still had not brought out my sisters dinner. Who we thought was the manger came over, however he was absolutely worthless . Next up was the REAL manager, again someone who had nothing to offer. The next insult was spilling spaghetti on my sister - they did being us free dessert - too bad we has to get up any get plates ourselves! This was not an inexpensive dinner- there were 11 of us, we ordered drinks and a bottle of Moët! This is Miami- probably one of the worst experiences I've had in a restaurant. I understand it was graduation weekend but there is no excuse. And he you put an 18% gratuity on it - chutzpah!

Very friendly staff, authentic italian dishes. Sandria was really good. Kids loved wood fired pizza.

Tried this location to see if there is a difference in quality and taste. On the other hand very impressed and we had different dishes as well. Friendly staff and good prices

This is one of our regular stops as my wife enjoys it so much. The salads and starters are excellent and the selection of main courses is adequate. Seating is available inside our out, although it can be a tad noisy inside.

Today I remembered why I haven't come to eat in this restaurant in the past two years. I ordered a salmon (grilled) with vegetables. The food was totally tasteless. The salmon burned outside and raw inside (I ordered well done), the spinach was boiling in oil and water and the baked potatoes was too too soft, almost mashed potatoes. My husband's veal parmiggiano was hard and tasteless as well. For sure I won't come back and I don't recommend!!!

Aside from the delicious food and excellent service, this restaurant has a calm ambiance that is just perfect after a day of shopping at Dadeland!

The atmosphere was modern, open and refreshing. The staff were attentive, patient, helpful and very kind. The food was delicious! It was flavorful, plentiful, authentic and fresh. The drinks were delicious and the location was convenient and comfortable.

Villagio is a nice restaurant located in Merrick Park which is one of my favorite malls. The food is delicious there is great variety the only thing is that it is a bit pricey but on a nice day it is beautiful to sit outside and watch people pass by.

This restaurant has a decent meal. It usually is very tasty although they got my order wrong it really didn't matter. The ambience of sitting outside is very nice. Service could be better.

The lovely Village of Merrick Park offers a casual, but elegant outdoor area to dine. The menu at Villagio's is ambitious, but its execution and staff are not. We had to ask for a wine list. The special branzino was described as topped with crab at 38$, but arrived with shrimp at 40$. No one poured our wine throughout dinner. The crab soup was a highlight and quite delicious. The veal piccatta was so-so. The veal had been pounded to tenderness, but had no signs of saute, only blanching. We had to wait so long for attention that ordering dessert was out of the question, so I can't comment on them.

Very good Italian restaurant Good price $$$ Nice place Good menu Very good service Have parking Accept credit cards

Great place for simple Italian meal. Prices are reasonable. And very Consistent quality and service. Go to place. Very reliable. Try the veal Lombaba if you want a thin fried veal chop. Snapper good too ,,,

The restaurant is very pretty, extensive menu, service not that great. I ordered the risotto primavera, it was not the best I had and my husband had veal and it was very good. Tried the chocolate cake, tiramisu (it was delicious) and the ricotta cheesecake, which it was ok (had better). What we ate was not worth the price.

This is a cool little place in Merrick Park (Coral Gables). Located around a bunch of shops, boutiques, stuffy Coral Gables crowd. Had a business lunch - so this review should be focused on just this, dinner potentially better. Service was pretty good, we arrived early so we were served pretty fast. I had the Risotto al Fruttin di Mare, and it was pretty good. So this is a pretty straightforward review. I would eat there again, but not that excited that I would recommend you go given the other options nearby. I just realized this review is 50-50 so again, worth a try, maybe not worth the return visit.

This restaurant was never great, but now it's just awful. The service is slow and unfriendly. And don't ever get me started on the food. We ordered three things and sent two of them back to the kitchen. We ate half of the third dish only because we were hungry. Dinner could have been pleasant, but the whole experience was horrible. Never again!

One of those places where you can't go wrong. Excellent quality year after year, good service and a beautiful setting inside Merrick Park.

Feel welcome from the greeting staff at the entrance to the waiters...to the fantastic setting under the palms..yes, ask to sit outside...people watching is as good as the food here! Fair prices and great food!

If anyone has been in Miami area for sometime, they have been to one of these "sibling" restaurants in Bar Harbour Mall, Merrick Park, Sawgrass Mills, Aventura Mall or even in West Palm Beach. They all provide a variety of menu items to choose with very good taste and presentation. Service usually is fast and final bill is very reasonable. Of course if one ends up getting mixed up with huge crowds in the season, service and food quality may suffer slightly. Otherwise, they are all solid choices of mine to entertain friends and family visiting from overseas.

The perfect place for outdoor lunch during spring time in Miami. Everything in the menu is good, but the tuna is exceptional. Good wine list, efficient, friendly service.

We had a wonderful dinner for two at Villagio. The service was excellent and the food was fabulous. I had the Ossobuco evening special, which was the best I have ever had (though pricey). My friend had a simple Angel Hair Pasta dish, which was also fantastic. The only reason I did not give the experience 5 stars was because of the loud and very obnoxious music from the two adjacent restaurants; which is a shame because the outdoor seating area is very nice. If you dine outside I suggest that you insist on a table away from the entrance and towards the back.
Cheesecake Factory would have been better
... and I hate chains including Cheesecake Factory. Admittedly, we were there on an unusually busy night. But, everything was really a disaster. 45 minutes after our reservation, we were sitting at folding tables that were unmatched in size and some weird folding chairs (nothing like the permanent tables around us). And we only had drinks, an empty breadbasket and no one who would even pretend like they wanted to take our food order. So I went the the manager who had a lot of reasons to give me. But, at that moment he did the right thing - he brought extra staff out to help and gave us some appetizers. But then, back to crap. No waiter for 20+ minutes while we we're sitting with empty wine glasses. Wrong wine delivery. 20 minutes later 7 out of 8 dishes show up. This was really the most ridiculous dining experience I have had in years in a city full of amazing restaurants and people with plenty of money to spend.
