Pizza-Pizza!

By Judy S |

Dee-licious pizza in Williamsburg-Brooklyn, NY! You can order in or eat there, but the place is small with only a few tables. One of my favorite places to eat pizza when I'm in Brooklyn. Never a disappointment.

Good pizza, vegetarian options

By Joey613 |

This is a solid pizza joint with good vegetarian options. I had a delicious veggie slice that was so good I almost ordered a second. A bit pricy but I would definitely come back.

Best vegan pizza ever!

By Ashley P |

We are so glad we came here, Our food was delicious! I ordered a vegan slice, and my boyfriend ordered two non vegan slices, we both really liked the food. I also ordered the vegan wings, which were phenomenal!

Classic with a modern twist

By Christina S |

Super homey, nostalgic, vintage pizzeria feel that spotlights italian American culture. Delicious, classic pizza with some funky options like buffalo chicken, meatball parm, as well as vegetarian/vegan options (dairy free cheeses and cheeseless pizzas too!!!). Old school interior with a good amount of seating. Came with the fam, thumbs up from all of us.

Best Pizza I've had in New York

By Thompsonsj |

Before becoming vegan, I certainly had my fair share of pizza. With that, I can saw that Vinnie's had the best pizza I've eaten in New York. For any vegan visiting the area, grabbing a slice from Vinnie's is a must.

Great Pizza

By PhilM866 |

Good New York, thin crust pizza. Restaurant takes cash only. Limited seating so arrive early or take out

So good we even came here on our wedding day!

By AnnaWxm |

We visited Vinnie's on several occasions during our trip to Brooklyn this summer. We were so impressed by the pizza that we stopped by for a snack on our wedding day, when we eloped during the trip! We loved the daily special board too - ingenious. In a city with an over-abundance of pizza places, you need to choose the best one and Vinnie's on Bedford is it!

Place very cool and pizza not so bad

By Pierp1985 |

The place is really cool, and the pizza slices are acceptable if you need a break during your visit in Williamsburg. The price is low, and every day there are different pizza specialities.

Great Atmosphere. Great Pizza!

By drinkswithjames |

Came here late one night after a few bars, and was blown away. The service was friendly and fun, by a guy who was SUPER accommodating and friendly to anyone who was ordering. I normally never notice or mention service in takeaways like this, but this guy was on another level. He was just fantastic. The decor was fantastic, with loads of funny little interesting bits in and around the place. The pizza was fantastic quality, and there was loads of different cool choices to choose from. Even the Vegan options looks awesome. The only thing missing really was the famous specials board, but I'm led to believe it's another branch of the restaurant. Amazing pizza, when we return, Vinnie's will be near the top of the list for places to visit.

Great pizza. Great price.

By msg1969 |

Vinnie's makes great pizza. That's all there is to it really. By the slice, by the pie, whatever you want. There's a really good selection of toppings including vegan if you are that way inclined and you can eat in or take away. It's not very big, it's not very classy, but it's got a great atmosphere, great staff and great food. What more do you want? For the record we ordered a full pie for two of us, which was way too much food. Unless you are used to enormous portions, I'd say one or two slices each is plenty.

Best vegan pizza.

By Jay S |

I had the best vegan pizza by the slice here. I don't even know what it was, I just asked for the servers recommendation and went for it. Best consumed after three beers, on the Subway home, after a show at the Knitting Factory. Get the garlic knots, but prepare for killer breath after.

Since 1960

By Stan Tecza |

Place claims to be from 1960 and it very well might be but the TMNT decor takes away some of the charm. Grabbed an Elote slice and a fresh tomato and Mutz slice. Both solid.

A slice at half the price…

By Nathan H |

Great little pizza stop from lunch to stupid o’clock pizzas are so tasty and flavourful I got two slices for lunch and was full to bursting goes well with a nice ice cold beer, price point isn’t bad for the quality of the food, let’s face it, it’s pizza but bloody delicious pizza.

Excellent pizza

By cb2367 |

Heard about Vinnie's pizza from the bar staff at Brooklyn Brewery. Excellent pizza overall, and a good variety of specialty pizzas. Recommend trying the mac and cheese pizza. Be advised that this pizza place is cash only.

I love this place

By Karma Eventyr |

Vinnie's is the best! I love the pizza and all of the vegetarian and vegan selections they have. Everything is so delicious and the service is lovely.

A slice of delight

By Tori Barry |

During our NYC foodie trip we opted for an evening of slice tasting.....forget the hyped up pizzerias off Brooklyn bridge....save the money and opt for a slice of Vinnies. Kind staff that appreciate their customers, good service and most important.....a good slice for a great price.

Good pizza, friendly staff

By xsimx |

Great place to drop in for a few slices of pizza. This is not fine dinning, and you may not get a table straight away if they're busy (only 5 booths), but most people are done and gone fairly quickly. They had a good variety of slices ready to go, or they can make something to order. Take away and delivery are also available.

Great pizza!

By Suzyska |

Nice little pizza place with friendly staff and a wide choice of pizza slices for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans.

Good Vegan Options

By Shelby T |

Vinnie's has a great menu, with several daily specials. The list on the menu is always themed and have hilarious puns mixed in (you should follow them on Instagram just for a good laugh). There are many vegan options if you are lactose intolerant, and the staff is super friendly!

Great pizza, open late!

By zummy_12 |

Got to town after a flight from west coast and checked in to our hotel starving. Sent husband out for a bite and he found Vinnies. Couldn't have been better! Delicious pizza, crispy crust, perfect amount of cheese. So happy we found it!

Really Good

By Buzzy1 |

We are former new Yorkers living in Colorado where good pizza is hard to find. On a visit back to wonderful NYC, we spent a late morning in Williamsburg and had several terrific slices at Vinnie's. The pizza is so good, the kind that drips grease when you hold it up, as it should. Didn't get 5 stars only because the ambiance is rather downscale, and the counter staff was rather curt.

they delivered to hotel!

By Joi D |

we got 2 huge pizzas at a great value ! One was plain and the other the vinnies house special. Both were equally good. I wish they were local !

Great for a late night bite

By Emmaspen |

Really enjoyed my slice from here, really crispy. Plenty of options available. Great for a late night bite.

Late night surprise.

By Brandon G |

Stopped by Vinnies on the walk back to our hotel. It was late and we just wanted some sustenance. Ordered a slice of the chicken quesadilla pizza and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was.

Excellent

By Mélani |

Very friendly little pizzeria. Pizza shares are excellent and there is choice. It's fresh and hearty. Good value for money. I recommend.

Maple Pizza

By Stan Tecza |

Really liking this pizza place more and more. Can go back again and again. Very underrated. Always enjoy when I visit. Nice service.

T.Hanks for the pizza and the fun!

By Southernfried4 |

My son and I were in the process of returning a rental car on a Sunday night when we decided to stop for something to eat on the way. We decided on a couple of slices and stumbled onto Vinnie's. It turned out to be a great decision. Not only was the pizza great (I'm a traditionalist, so I stuck with just plain cheese. My more adventurous son went with the Buffalo chicken with a splash of ranch dressing), but the vibe inside the restaurant made the experience even better. This is not your typical neighorhood pizzeria. The guys working behind the counter really seemed like they were having a good time. We enjoyed cutting up with them and talking about the different kind of pizzas they've experimented making (including vegan options and a mac-and-cheese pizza). The restaurant itself was entertaining as well, with puns everywhere you looked, from the T.Hanks trash can to the BATMan to the picture of AC Slater on the AC. If you're in the Greenpoint area and have a hankering for pizza, Vinnie's is definitely the place to go!!

Meh - there's better pizza to be had in Brooklyn

By LTLOL |

There is much better pizza to be had in Brooklyn. We've been to Vinnie's once (the smell is very enticing) and we won't bother again. The pizza was barely lukewarm (even though we waited for it to be heated up) and lacked any flavour. Just a big meh from us.

California Pizza

By Rain M |

So we walked up n down the street cuz my buddy wanted "thick crust" pizza, but after talking I realized she was thinking of Chicago pizza. So the security man at Brooklyn Brewery told us to go to Ana Maria pizza but we ended up here at Vinny's. The Cali pizza was really good to my surprise cuz this place also sells non chicken buffalo wings....wtf? They also had vegan ham pinwheel, you can't have fake ham...ham is ham.

Very good vegan oizza

By Michelle F |

I had the vegan macaroni pizza and my son had non-vegan pepperoni. Both were good! Very reasonably priced and great selection for both vegans and non-vegans.

Great pizza

By liamf_07 |

Recommended by the staff at the hotel we were staying at, from the outside it doesn’t look much. The inside looked very 90s. Great artwork, posters and framed photos and t-shirts. The staff were friendly and told me all The different pizzas they had, I couldn’t remember what they said so I just pointed at two different ones. A great size and tasty. One of the best slices of pizza I’ve had. Better than what I had in Rome. My girlfriend says the garlic knots were delicious, and at $1 for five you can’t go wrong. Decently priced tasty food and friendly staff. You can’t go wrong. Also teenage mutant ninja turtles :)

Garlic Knobs 😋

By stuart f |

Delicious pizza, great choice, awesome Coca-Cola. Very friendly staff, And the best garlic knobs. 🤪 I had the Grandma. Loved it. We will return.

Great Pizza and service

By CallsignViper84 |

Went here three times and tries three different pizzas every time. All three were absolutely amazing and all of the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken and blue cheese. Truly amazing!

Pizza

By Chadwyck1 |

They were recommend by the Brewery. Make sure you have cash. They don't except credit /debit cards. The pizza was good.

Great vegan options!

By elliegator |

Fabulous local pizzeria! They have a great vegan menu, really affordable prices and the service was really good compared to a few other places I went to. Small simple pizzas are $10 (which are actually HUGE - I don't want to think about how big their "large" pizza is). For those who want to try something new and different, I suggest getting the vegan chicken drumsticks with a side of garlic knots to accompany it - interesting, tasty and very filling.

T.HANKS

By PFandtheFlyers |

Great cheese slice. Fun place to drop in for a quick bite. It's small, But it serves it's purpose well. Good pizza served by cool people, while good music is playing. Bedford Ave in a nutshell. Look forward to come back someday soon.

Best pizza in New York

By Sally M |

After a huge day we were looking for something quick for dinner. We ordered 2 slices of the chicken quesadilla pizza and it was so,oo good. Fresh our of the oven just the way we like our pizza. Not oily and just the perfect amount of topping. It is busy however the customers turn over quickly and the staff are very quick. Lots to choose from so if your in the area, definitely visit Vinnie's Pizzeria.

Good pizza and good prices

By andreapaz_bc |

Very good pizza for very good price! We got 3 slices and 2 drinks (water and juice) for $13. Italian taste and smell. They also offer delivery service.

Delicious & affordable pizza served by very kind, friendly staff

By lilbrie |

My girlfriend and I had dinner here twice on our 3 day Brooklyn trip because it was so affordable and delicious! I was only expecting them to have one or two vegan options, but there were 4-5 different options for pizza each night, as well as $6 vegan wings and a vegan ziti dish that sounded amazing! Definitely a great spot for vegans on a budget!! There's a little ice cream truck right outside that does amazing vegan options and it's also only a five minute walk from McCarren park, so you can grab your food to go and eat there on a nice day. The staff was so nice and friendly both nights, as well! You've definitely gotta check it out if you're in the area!

Vinnie's Pizzeria is good, quick and inexpensive.

By Hawaiian555 |

For quick cheap pizza, this is a favorite spot to drop in. It's a small old place with character. Could be cleaner but it's been here a very long time.

Great vegie/vegan pizza - nice guys working there.

By myloDL |

Grabbed a couple of vegie and vegan slices for a late night take-away dinner. Super impressed with the quality of the vegan pizza and the staff there were great talking us through the different options (which there were plenty).

Delicious!

By LouieCast |

First experienced pizza at Vinnie's on my wedding day, called in for a slice between photos. It was amazing! Have since returned for a cheese pizza. Great quality, can't wait till I'm in the area to return

Great pizza nice people

By Marelica86 |

This is the best pizza I had in NYC. And I am Italian. The guys are very nice also we came back to this place several times.

Just around the corner! Very practical when heading back home. Good selection whether you;re a meat lover, vegetarian...

By Claudia P |

Just around the corner! Very practical when heading back home. Good selection whether you;re a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan. Also fun to eat in and listen to the staff goof around.

Its a local spot, we were looking for the pizza box

By Robert P N |

We had read about a special pizza box made from pizza crust. It took us about 45 min to get over to the pizzeria from Manhattan, it was crowded, it is a take out place, very limited seating. We tried to order the pizza box, and they were really not sure what to do. They said it would take about an hour. The boys were disappointed. It was a long night, but we headed back. Recommendation, order your pizza in advance, and just pick it up when you get there. @nickellfamilytravel

So good!

By Mike H |

Humble pizza joint that does pizza properly. Really friendly guys and delicious pizza (amazing dough!) by the slice or whole. Not much seating but great for a quick bite. If you want the authentic New York pizza experience, do it here.

Best late night slice around

By Gina |

Best late night slice around. Awesome artwork on their flyers too. it is what it is, good, tasty cheap pizza to hit the spot.

Quick, cheap, delicious

By Pete D |

We walked in on a wet and cold day, into a small warm pizza joint with barley enough seating. Quick, cheap, delicious local neighbourhood icon.

Unique topping but not exceptional

By Trashcollector |

I tried it on a hot summer day. The clerk was really nice in describing the selections. I thought that the variety was unique. After tasting it I felt that it was unique but definitely not exceptional. The pizza was not as hot as needed taste fresh off the grill. As a result the toppings tasted unique but not mouth burning tasty.

Classic New York Slice

By Erin C |

We were drawn in by the teanage mutant ninja turtles bench and I am so glad we came in. The pizza is very reasonably priced. There is a great selection to suit every diet; vegetarian, celiac, vegan and carnivores. The slices are a good size and were absolutely delicious. A must visit place!

Best pizza in Brooklyn!

By Michele M |

The pizza is so fresh and delicious. I got a chicken parm pizza pie, with fresh dollops of mozeralla cheese on it. Yum! Delivery people are also very nice.

Best Pizza in the USA - seriously

By LBH991 |

Traveling with 2 plant eaters, 1 meat eater, and 1 vegetarian has it challenges. And when your group LOVES pizza it can be a real challenge to satisfy everyone. Not at Vinnie's. This is a place you have to go. We told the person at the counter it was our 1st visit and they promptly gave us a tour of the display counter telling us what each pizza contained. We then enjoyed some of the best pizza I have had since leaving Italy.

The Best!

By twinkletravel1 |

We discovered Vinnie's on our recent trip to NY. Love it!! Before sure the best oizza we tried, friendly staff & cheap... Try it!

Awesome pizza with quick service! Great late night snack!

By canucksunlover |

Our group of 4 stopped in Vinnie's due to a recommendation from someone who lives in the area. We enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza, and I tried the chicken and honey mustard pizza which was WICKED. Quick services and absolutely awesome pizza! Might have been the best I've ever had.

Unexpected Awesome

By HermioneRanger |

I googled Vegan and this place popped up. I was expecting they would have a cheeseless pizza variety for me, but instead they had a TON of choices of "cheeze" covered pizzas. They also had amazing Pizza Wheels and Garlic knots that were vegan. Lastly, I bought pretty much one of every kind of dessert they had (because they were all vegan). I shared them with my friends over the weekend and everyone agreed that they were amazing. Thank you so much for having a variety of food and goodies for lactose intolerant types! I will definitely be back next time I am in NYC!

Enjoyed the meal

By AnyaRay |

The place is cozy, stylish. The team is incredibly nice: they treat everyone with personal touch. I ordered classic pepperoni with extra cheese and it was delicious. The experience was short, simple and comforting.

Try the "Grandma" Slice

By yellowpixels |

This should be on the Brooklyn Slice Tour - if it isn't already. Small local pizza spot with great pizza. They serve a special square variety they call grandma with toppings that vary. Whatever, the stuff is excellent. The problem with NY pizza is that there are too many places with the same or similar names. Seek this one out if you want the real thing! Not a large place so go early or expect a crowd.

Been living a block from vinnies for the past 10 years. It's good.

By Edan M |

If they have the tarantula slice, don't think twice and order. It's the owner's ultimate slice creation and one of the top slices on bedford. They have excellent thin crust for a warm up slice shop, crunchy and light. The plain cheese is a great option, there are sometimes consistency issue, too much cheese or too long standing, too much heat or too less. It's a balance issue that wins the taste and most times it does. I'm reviewing this spot because there are at least 50 slice shops around the burg, this spot is a hipster cult spot that has been running from way before the hood turned into a tourist stomping ground. Enjoy.

A great variety of pizza

By Carla S |

The place is particular, it has a lot of pictures from different cartoons that claims the love for pizza. It is small but has enough space for eating there (20-25 ppl). It offers a variety of pizza, that's why is one of the most famous pizza (by slice) in Brooklyn (they even have Mac n cheese pizza). We had a tomato, spinach and feta cheese, I totally recommend it

Pizza fans, make the pilgrimage.

By Toomuchsoy |

I visited New York about three times a year in the mid 2000s. I'd go straight from the airport to Vinnie's. With my luggage. A few years later, I was living in Brooklyn and my best friend was dating one of the owners of Vinnie's (they're now married). It was the greatest gift she could have ever given me. Wonderfully creative slices, wild atmosphere. perfect crust. My favorites are Tiger Style (vegan chicken teriyaki with broccoli) and vegan mac attack (mac and cheese, hot sauce, veggie beef crumbles). And a good ol' plain cheese slice. TOP NOTCH. You've likely heard of the pizza topped with pizza and/or the pizza delivered in a box made of pizza. Yeah, from Sean's brain at Vinnie's. If you're visiting New York, put this on your list as a MUST DO. There's a location in Williamsburg and a location in Greenpoint. If you live in New York and you're not going to Vinnie's like three times a week, shame on you. Eat... eat for me. I miss it every single day of my life from all that way over in dumb, lousy, Vinnie's-less San Franstupido.

A Bedford Ave. fav

By Mariposa D |

Got to love this NY pizza. Delicious, variety, quality, freshness. Great service. Clean. New owners but I grew up in this place

Wonderful Pizza/Vegan Friendly

By madartist54 |

Looks like a hole in the wall, but variety of vegan slices was amazing! My husband, who is lukewarm about vegan anything, even liked the vegan options. They have a full variety of regular pizza, as well. Cash only.

Tasty Brooklyn Pizza

By Scranman14 |

A recommendation from the lads at the Brooklyn Brewery. After maybe one to many beers it was just what we needed. Vinnie's has a couple of tables. A big queue on our arrival local running club looked like they had just finished training and for a social pizza. Most people were ordering by the slice but we went for a full one well we were extra hungry after a few beers. The pizza was cheap but tasty and definitely great value for money. A great food stop between brewery and subway back to Manhattan.
