Stopped in with my wife on a trip to Los Angeles. Sat at bar. Cheery servers, and knowledgeable re wine menu. Solid wine. choices. My wife had a flight of 3 reds. She enjoyed them all. I had sparkling water. We order the chart Charcuterie plate. At $21, a fair price. 3 meat choices, 3 cheeses, and an assortment of nuts, berries, and mustard, served with tasty French-style bread. Well worth stopping for an hour to kill some time, and the wine and food were surprisingly good!

Great was to DeStress at the Austin Airport. Vino Volo has a great selection of Texas Wine. I had one of my favorite wines with Lamb Meatballs and my wife had the Chicken Salad with the Messina Hof Artist Series Sangiovese . Great service & thank you for promoting Great Texas Wine

Very good sandwiches and a pretty decent selection of beer and wine. Service is friendly. Recommended!

We have the chance to enjoy a leisurely lunch at Vino Volo in ABIA, which is always a treat! Service was great, attentive but un.obtrusive. A flight of bubbles and rose were the beverages of choice… hits and misses there, but that’s why you try flights! The Brie and Prosciutto sandwich was delicious as always, and a side of truffled potato chips was a perfect pairing! Recommend Vino Volo at any airport, but especially good at ABIA!

Decided I had time to kill before my flight. This place was busy. They do serve good food but small portions. I had a great time and hope to return

This delightful wine bar serves excellent wines and unique food offerings. The cheese plate is really good. It adds an upscale choice for the Austin airport. A great place to unwind and wait for your plane!

Recently had a layover in this airport and was looking for a place to relax. A glass of wine sounded good, so I chose to stop here. Their nice selection of wines was thankfully not an overwhelming list. I couldn't decide and chose a flight called the California Kings. All three were quite nice. The servers were all pleasant and service was quick. I ended up ordering the Truffle Penne & Cheese because the description made my mouth water ~ "rustic pasta with white cheddar, smoked gouda, bay leaf, truffle oil and toasted bread crumbs". Since all they have is a microwave, I should have known better than to expect gourmet fare. The breadcrumbs were stale, and it tasted microwaved. Guess I'd rather have good fast food than mediocre upscale food. One final note is that the tables are packed in to their small space, and with everyone dragging luggage, it gets quite cramped. In hindsight, it probably would have been better to sit at the bar.

My flight schedule was a mess starting from 2:00am. So, after finally getting to the Airport & flights on time, I decided to have a flight of champagne. Service was non-existent. I grabbed a menu, orderd a flight & tried to relax. The area is very crowded, so I was glad to find a small table. With a tight shedule, I didn't want to try to order food, as they were short on help. The champagne 's were great and well priced. I believe they had recently opened, so maybe that had something to do with the disorganization. But, don't let that stop you from grabbing a menu and giving this a try before you take off. Bon Voyage!

Got the sampler of Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Tannat wines from Texas (no Tempranillo by the glass!). Had the cheese plate as well. Nice.

This is located at a pop on gate 22 in the airport and is obviously primarily a wine tasting place, but surprisingly I had an outstanding cheeseboard and a really good BLT.

What a pleasant surprise. Great wines served by a friendly & knowledgeable staff. Try the Marcona almonds. Delish!

If you have a stop in Austin TX or a lay over it is a great place to stop for a good glass of wine or a flight.

Airline traveling has become such an unpleasant experience and it is such a joy to find that "eye of the storm", and relax for a few moments with a top-drawer glass of wine and a well prepared snack or light meal. Almost every time I visit I am introduced to an interesting wine that I am not familiar with. The food I order is always done well and I walk toward my gate a bit more relaxed and pleased. It works!!

Vino Volo is a wine bar at the Austin Airport that has a good selection of wines to pair with meals or small plates. I had the charcuteries board with a New Zealand sauvignon blanc that made a perfect combination. It was a bit pricey, but to get the quality of wines available here with a good appetizer in a short amount of time at the airport is worth it. I will definitely try this place again the next time I'm at Berfgland.

Over several years we have sat at Vino Volo before a flight and have had food and wine but this trip we ordered the Mediterranean plate to go to take on our flight. After a lengthy wait we were brought a plastic container with a disappointingly meagre amount of hummus, olives and sun dried tomatoes, feta, and a few so-called pita chips. It was handed to me and I had to ask for a bag and plastic utensils and napkins. The staff were friendly enough but seemed a bit overwhelmed. This was definitely not worth $16. Maybe we’ll give them another try, maybe not.

We were on our wait to Italy but while we waited for our flight we enjoyed a mimosa and anti pasta of which both were good. Better than sitting at the gate. Waiter was friendly and helpful.

We wanted a bottle of wine to share amongst 4 people. They charged an extra 15 bucks to open the wine. Most expensive corking fee ever.

This wine bar is located inside the airport in Austin, and is part of a chain which concentrates on serving the traveler. You can try a single glass, a wine flight or buy a bottle of wine to take with you to your destination. The also serve snacks, sandwiches, salads. They provide a description of the wine, the grapes used, and its origin. I thought the wines I tried were excellent and a good value for their price. The must have a very good wine steward selecting their wines.

I travel a lot and rarely find a place like this in an airport. Fantastic wine list and great menu. It's hard to find Blue Eyed Boy by the glass anywhere let alone an airport! Lovely. Had the Brie and prosciutto sandwich on warmed chibatta bread. Excellent. This is now my go to place in Austin. Glad I discovered. Apparently they have more in other airport locations

We visit family in Austin two or three times a year, and ALWAYS stop at Vino Volo when flying out. This last visit was as good as ever. One of the friendly and attentive servers we had met before recognized and greeted us - a very nice touch. The food is always good. We had the salmon rolls ($17) and tomato and burrata salad ($14). The Gratien sparkling rose' ($41) was a great way to start the trip.

My rating is based on a comparison of other airport restaurant options. There are lots of wine choices and a fairly limited selection of food. But their offerings are so much better than what you would get at the typical "fast food" places. I had the grilled chicken salad which was good except the chicken was so garlicky I was a bit concerned about exhaling near the poor people sitting next to me on the plane. Service is good and pricing is reasonable. I would pick this place any time.

The wine here is your typical $12-18 bottles of wine in which they do sell but at almost double the price you can get it for. The wines overall are UNspectacular. I had the Red,Red,Red flight and they were thin, no bouquet and tasteless. Each bottle is around $15 but selling for close to $30. The atmosphere is good and at least there is several wines to choose from.

I passed by what I thought was a wine tasting room, but discovered they have the best lamb meatballs, well-seasoned to just keep the lamb taste with manchego atop a mint pesto served on swirls of creme fraiche. The wine flght selections vary from the expected to unexpected. Several from Willamette Valley. Listening to great music while enjoying. Get to the airport early and indulge before leaving Austin.

Healthy choices for food although portions will not fill you up for too long. The tables and bar seats are cramped and too close together with luggage to be comfortable.... but there's many good choices for a glass of wine. Staff seems happy to be at work which is a plus these days.

Good reason to go to the airport early - we saw this place when we flew in but who wants to have a snack in the airport when you arrive! Luckily we were plenty early for our flight home and spent an hour here. Wine was very good, food was very good and bartender was awesome! Sit at the bar, charge your phone, drink good wine and have surprising good airport food! The salted carmel white chocolate cookie was the best cookie I have had in YEARS and I eat a lot of cookies. The non sweet tooths in our group even raved and I bought another to take home. The Panini whether hot or cold were great - in our group we had three different ones and all were delicious. (I liked the Panini w/ pecorino, fig jam and arugula!) The salads were good too. We ate there AND took stuff to go for our 4 hr flight.

I wanted a quiet spot, charge my phone, and have a sip of something other than beer or margaritas. The staff was attentive but not pushy, and very informative. A gem in an airport!

Visited Vino Volo again recently while waiting for a flight at ABIA. Vino Volo is consistently good, good wine and good food. When it comes to dining choices at airports, Vino Volo does it right. For "frequent diners" Vino Volo has a membership club where you earn points for the dollars spent there. As you spend more, the free stuff grows. Most notably, once you reach the top level (out of 3 levels) you get 20% off your bill every visit. This visit we share a flight of champagne and rose wines. All were good! We also had a glass of Laurenz pinot grigio that was also good. On the food side, we shared the italian panino and brie/prosciutto sandwiches. Both were good, but we gave the hat tip to the italian panino. Recommend Vino Volo, they have locations in airports all over the country. PS Sorry for the bite out of one of the sandwiches, almost forgot to take the pic! LOL

I tried Vino Volo on the recommendation of the bartender at the Admirals Club. He was right. The wine selections are extensive and reasonably priced. The appetizer and plates are excellent and also bargain priced for an airport. I had the grilled chicken breast salad which was delicious with a glass of Texas Hill country white wine. Also, surprisingly, delicious! Highly recommendedjn

The wine selection was great for an airport bar. They also have wine flights, which was good to try because most of the wine brands I was not familiar with. Prior to getting a wine flight, I was disappointed because they were going to charge me to taste a wine. I've never heard of charging $5 for a taste. One of my biggest pet peeves is to be "nickeled and dimed." I ordered a salad. It was small, but was well priced and had lots of good ingredients. The chairs at the bar are jammed in so there is no room. It was actually uncomfortable, so I'd recommend getting a table.

Excellent wine selection -- try the white from New Zealand. Best food option looks to be the charcuterie plate -- a mix of cheese and meat. Really busy in the late afternoon but always good service. Another plus for the Austin airport!

Great selections of wine including many from Texas wineries, which i loved seeing. Down side is once you got your glass of wine delivered no-one came back to see if we wanted food or another glass. Its a shame as the menu looked great, so we just moved onto somewhere else to eat.

Very nice wine selection and great atmosphere...so much better than the average airport bar! Bought the gruyere/proscuitto sandwich to take on the plane, SO delicious and priced about the same as the ordinary sandwiches available at the airport convenience store. Excellent start to our vacation!

Club sandwich was very tasty. Charabreau board was very nice. Just enough to be a nice snack without the bread. With bread a very nice lunch. Sample wine trio looked interesting. Nice srrvice

So nice to sit and sip at Austin–Bergstrom International Airport, since there is no Delta Sky Club at this airport. The menu is uniformly attractive at every one of the Vino Volos I've been to (LAX, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver and now Austin). It is a brilliant business plan, and I especially like the tasting notes on the coasters. Brilliant marketing and design!! In Austin, I appreciated the chance to drink some excellent Texas wines - I did not know they made nice Rhone blends in TX! The cheese plate and nuts were innovative, plated beautifully, and yummy! Unlike some locations, there were not many outlets to charge your laptops/phones, etc. here. And it was also quite busy from 4 - 5 p.m. on a Saturday, Still a great way to while away an hour far from the hovering airport gate crowds and noisy announcement before a no-frills flight. There hours are interesting. Monday - Saturday: 9:00 am until 30 minutes to last departure, Sunday & Holidays: 12 pm - 30 minutes to last departure according to the website. Definitely nice to have a sit down classy meal or snack before being herded onto your plane. PS: If you are not a wine drinker, not to worry, they have non-alcoholic choices, too.

There are two vino Volos in the Austin airport. The one near gate 8 is larger but the down side is the singer/guitar player at 10 am which kinda ruins the morning quite while you trying to do a little work. I am all for entertainment but how about after 5 pm? I like going to Vino Volos when I am in airport without a club I belong to. The stafff is always nice food is reasonable and dependable and its nice atmosphere. Let’s try not to be entertainment centers and concentrate on being a nice oasis in busy hubs where a little small talk, the ability to check work emails and a nice glass of wine can be had.

The burgundy flight was not my favorite, but my husband had the cab flight and enjoyed his. I had the salmon rolls...very tasty. The arugula salad with beets was average. The sparkling flight was where I should have started... just didn't see that special.

I love a good glass of wine and a bit of food and, finding myself stuck at the airport for an extended wait, stopped into dependable Vino Volo. The wine selection is vast. I had to wait for any place to sit. The service was attentive, and the food was good, for what you can do with no kitchen. The wine prices made me gasp. Okay, I'm from CA wine country where things are hella expensive, but for Austin, even at the airport, the prices are high. As the place was packed the wait for food was long this visit...not their fault, as half the terminal eateries are under renovation, so the few open spots were jammed. Appreciate the knowledgeable, attentive service.

We stop at Vino Volo every time we fly out of Austin. Most recently we had glasses of delicious Gruett rose' sparkling wine with the cheese platter. All three cheeses, the fig jam, dried cranberries, and smoked almonds were terrific, as was the service.

Friendly and efficient staff, great food (I had the avocado toast), and good wine (I had the bubbles flight)! My husband had the native Texan Pilsner & Italian panini.

At first it looks like a wine bar, but I quickly discovered that they serve great salads. Wonderful for a quick lunch, of course with accompanied with a good wine, in between flights.

Wine was terrible, Brie plate was disgusting, they refuse to take vouchers issued at the airport for regular food, service is slow

Waiting on our Austin plane was easy at this relaxing place with comfy chairs. The appetizers and wines were great and filling enough
Expensive but worth it
Super chill vibe (and I don’t just mean the A/C in TX temps) and fabulous, attentive service from knowledgeable waiters. The wine selection is quite broad. There were several off-menu sparkling wines when I visited and I tried each one. The food looked and sounded absolutely delish. Unfortunately I intended ordering some, but because it’s an airport, I was not able to leave my table, so I had to close out in order to visit the restroom. I suspect that the super-helpful waiter would have worked with me on that little issue, but I felt it bordered in over-sharing, and it would have felt awkward. But it’s pricey.
