I think cocktail bars are a new ‘hot’ thing now. This one is definitely a hit! We tasked our server Clifford to work up some unique cocktails for us. He spent a bit of time asking our preferences before starting. Clifford also offered some interesting advice about the various liquors and options to make a specific cocktail. Our group tried a Sazerac cocktail with sparkling wine which toned the bourbon down just enough and still had a hint of Absinthe. The other cocktails were Death in the Afternoon, Brown Bourbon, Wave of Mutilation and a Wray & Nephew Overproof. This was a fun and new experience for me.

The food is "okay"...anything cooked is in a microwave, but Tony is one of the best mixologists I've ever come across. He works Fridays, Sunday and Weds I believe. He is great!

This place is the real deal if you are looking for a serious classic cocktail. Great spirit collection and very informative and skilled bartenders. You can order off the menu or give the bartender creative license to make something unique for your taste. If there in December, they make the best eggnog I have ever had. You may want to try the hot buttered scotch on a cold damp day. You will not be disappointed here.

Vintage Cocktails make the most amazing cocktails!!!! We had an amazing evening here in this part of Portland. We need to come back! Scott was fantastic to talk to and learn about cocktail ingredients & the vibe was perfect for an evening out trying old fashioned cocktails!

This place reminds me of a prohibition era lounge. Dim lights, great atmosphere and some of the best cocktails in Portland!

This bar was off the beaten track for us as we came from out of town. The bar tender was wonderful and knew his drinks and had a passion for what he was doing. This is not your fufu drinks but those that require balance in the making. We will be back next time in town

This bar would be easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. Too bad as the diverse menu and tasty food are a wonderful reason to stop. I enjoyed the Americano cocktail the best. Definitely stop by!

I met a first date here and it's a nice cozy spot to sip on a variety of cocktails and beers and get to know someone. It's relatively small, hip, and has a good selection of nibbles to go with the beer, wine, or old time cocktail of your choosing. The lighting is great, and it's very intimate. Highly recommend a stop.
