Service at the table was OK. Food was decent but nothing to call home about. The bartender was terrible. We were sitting at the (almost empty) bar for about 15 minutes and Didn’t get acknowledged until we flagged her down and once we did she acted annoyed that we even wanted anything. We were going to eat at the bar then decided we didn’t want to deal with her attitude so moved outside. Either way, bartender with the terrible lip injections— get a better attitude because your service AND attitude is terrible.

We ordered the “pig-out special for two”. It had ribs, pulled pork, sliced pork with two sides for US $75. The Barbecue Ribs was good, a 4/10, but there was only two small pieces. Nothing else was tasty and worth talking about. We recommend ordering a meal with ribs only, and sides. A ribs only entree is just under $40. Pricey. Didn’t feel like we got value for money. Located on the LINQ HOTEL Promenade, Las Vegas Strip.

Michael was a great waiter, very professional and attentive. The Bloody Mary gets a 10/10, nachos get an 8/10 but the brisket only gets a 4/10, it was very dry.

Our third visit to Virgil’s, second time in Vegas. The portions haven’t got any smaller. Wife had the brisket burger and fries, I went for the 1/4 rack of ribs with a side of mac & cheese and side of coleslaw. All the food was amazing. Portion size was massive and we have to admit we did leave some. No room for a dessert! 😢 Well worth a visit.

A visited Virgil’s a few times during our vacation and each time it was fantastic. We had a variety of food but all was lush and the staff were friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a quiet drink away from the lights and noise of the casinos, this is the place, we found it after paying well and truly over the top bar prices next door. Virgil's has atmosphere, the guys and girls here ( I hate the word Servers) are all smiles, there was conversation, the drinks were superb, the food amazing, the whole evening, just brilliant, and not a gaming machine in sight, thank you, and keep up the good work!

Burgers were good to be honest. But the live music was so loud although the singer had an amazing voice. I know it is Las Vegas but it doesn't need to be that loud inside. Fast service and polite.

Large place, without the glittering glitter of Las Vegas, but with a decidedly country flavour. Both the meat and the beer are excellent. Very quick and friendly service. Located on a pedestrian street near the strip. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended

The restaurant itself is ok and the service was not bad but the food was Luke warm at best when served. We really wanted to find great ribs whilst in the US but maybe it’s just not a NY thing. I wouldn’t say not to go but I would recommend either.

We ate here as a family and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food and drink was good, great cocktails and the staff very friendly. We tried the New York Virgil’s too and found it just as good

Super food, brilliant staff, (thanks for looking after us Andrea) an all around pleasure to visit, looking forward already to next visit.

We decided to dine at Virgil’s as we hadn’t had a good BBQ meal in quite a while. After being seated our waitress was happy to help us narrow down our selection. As the portions served were very large we decided to split the BBQ Combo which included Pork spare ribs, Brisket, baked beans, fries and cornbread. The brisket and sides were really tasty but sadly the spare ribs were dry and had a fair amount of grizzle in it. The BBQ flavours tasted really good for the most part but sadly the ribs, my wife’s favourite, let us down. For this reason alone I gave an average rating but it easily could have been much higher.

We always try and incorporate a Virgil’s visit when going to Vegas. Consistent quality and pretty good service. We typically gravitate to sharing the Texas Brisket Entre with Mac and cheese and Brussels Sprouts as the side. The Virgil’s ale never disappoints and we don’t share beer

Celebrated my nephew's 21st birthday here Memorial weekend. The event staff was superlative! Such warmth and service from Kay, Joe, Frankie and staff. We had a wonderful time, the venue was great, and so much food! Loved having the indoor/outdoor patio area to party!

My wife and I dined here for dinner. We were seated immediately. I ordered the 1/4 rack of ribs with baked beans and mac and cheese. My wife had a bowl of chili and onion rings. We shared everything. Once we ordered, all the food was served on the table in 4 minutes. McDonald's usually takes longer. All the food tasted like it was under heat lamps for hours. I did not care for the rub on the ribs, at all. Bring a choice. Texas, Carolina, St. Louis, KC, etc. Sauce does not cut the rub. Once the rub is on, no sauce can kill that taste. All the sides were almost inedible, except the baked beans. The only reason I am giving this a 3 bubble review was the service. That was excellent. I added photos of our visit.

Fun spot for lunch. Lots of drink options. Our server Tanya was FANTASTIC!! Recommend to anyone looking for a delicious lunch.

We came here for Mother’s Day. We loved the shrimp and drinks, which were suggested by our waiter Lance. He was so personable, polite, and informative. He was training at the time, but we wouldn’t have know otherwise. He answered all of our questions and had great suggestions. 10/10 for Lance!

Enjoyed the food and the portions were huge! Food came out quickly and was delicious. Felt a little rushed when the bill was brought to us when we didn’t ask for it, and were still finishing our drinks. Live band was great

Very good meat Hearty plate We chose a Burger and a t bone We had a great time, very good value for money Nice music and not too loud Nice room, friendly and efficient staff

Great service: Lucky, our server, was attentive without hovering, friendly, and gave great advice. Preslie the host was fun and welcoming. Great food: I had the grilled catfish - cooked nicely and well seasoned. My husband had a half rack of ribs. Nicely smokey and tender, and enough to share. Very good value. The pineapple upside down cake cocktail tasted EXACTLY like pineapple upside down cake.

A quick pit stop for a drink after the High Roller, turned into cocktails and food. Frankie our server took great care of us. Drinks and food were great and a nice touch with a DJ / guitarist on the Terrace. Recommended!

The chicken sandwich and the brussel sprouts were good, that was about it. The pulled chicken and the Trash Ribs were so overcooked, that we couldn’t eat most of them. The music was too loud to carry on a conversation. Our server was adequate.

My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The portions are huge. We went twice while visiting Vegas. The first time my husband ordered the Nashville hot chicken was huge and delicious. In ordered the pulled pork which was a bit dry but overall yummy. We were there on a Friday night and really enjoyed the live music. We visited a second time on a Monday during happy hour. You can only get happy hour at the bar. I had a $7 spicy marg and my husband had a $6 beer. We ordered the train wreck fries for $10 and one taco for $4. It was yummy!!!

We had an excellent meal at Virgil's with the most excellent waiter (Nate). He was very friendly and attentive and ensured we were happy with everything.

They say the beef has been slow cooked for 12 hours, but I found it really tough, when I have been to Texas and had proper BBQ beef it is so tender it normally just falls apart, this didn’t. I told waiter and he just laughed it off. It’s not the real deal, personally I would avoid.

I would suggest reservations - we did and saved allot of time. Was seated and it took about 5+ minutes to be greeted by the server. We ordered and food came out in an average amount of time for a BBQ restaurant. The BBQ was average - my Carolina BBQ was very stringy but good flavor. The cheese grits do not list having jalapeños, only spice with hot sauce....but I bit into a pepper was surprised and did not care for the pepper in the grits. Cathead biscuits were good. The service was below average as our server seemed overwhelmed. The seating is very crowded and our friends across the table were constantly being "knocked" as servers and other customers were going by them. I know I was in Vegas but $78 (no alcohol) for 2 average BBQ plates is WAY too expensive. Disappointed with out visit .....

This place is so amazing, we went 3 times while we were there! The location is great, the food is amazing, and the service was good too! We loved it!

The food was good, but definitely not great. Service was very good, and waitress and chef made sure my meal was gluten free (greatly appreciated!). Meaty ribs but not fall-off-the-bone. Brussels sprouts were very good and recommended. Brisket was juicy and tender and my wife loved the baked beans. The sauce flavors and selections were not our preference. Overall the food was good and if you are looking for BBQ it’s worth while.

FRANKIE IS THE BEST. Made our dinner such a fun time and treated us like family. If you get a chance, ask for her to be your server!

Although the service was great, the food was pretty uninspiring. I had the brisket which was dry and tasteless and can’t say it blew me away. My friend had the pulled pork and she also found it to be nothing exciting. Saying all that, the sides were delicious!

Excellent food, speed, nice atmosphere, Our waiter James gave us excellent service... I highly recommend this place

Fun change of pace from the casinos and hotels. Fabulous ribs and turkey burger! Music is a little loud for having a conversation.

Dawg ahhhhhh bbq come here if you want to pay out the ahhhhhh for you mouth to feel like you are eating sand sheet was hella overpriced and way overcooked straight to jail with this dry ahhhhh disgusting ahhhhhh bbq🤮🤮🤮

Not awesome. Good location and the staff were friendly but the food was a bit of a miss. The food was greasy and cold and the portions were small.

Fantastic gluten free BBQ food! We arrived late at night after our original restaurant was closed, and it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about gluten free, and the I ended up getting the BBQ burger. The burger was cooked perfectly and the brisket on top was so good we came back 2 nights later to try it on its own. The potato salad and coleslaw were good sides, however a separate fryer for fries would have really sealed the deal as my wife enjoyed them. Overall a great experience.

Food was delicious! Service was great! Ordered the brisket sandwich and it was cooked to perfection. Great flavor and loved the sauce. Not a fan of coleslaw, but potato salad was good!

went back to this place as we remembered from our previous trip 6years back. its was not so good. margaritas were good. bbq meats were quite dry and not good cuts. overall food was disappointing.

Love it at Virgil’s. Lovely staff. Food is amazing. And just the right level of air conditioning inside! Or you can sit outside and watch the world go by on the Linq promenade.

Great BBQ. Fast service and our server Luckie was awesome! Good serving portions and the Strawberry Margarita Slushie was just what was needed on a hot day in Vegas!

Had our evening meal here as I’d been the Virgil’s in New York. Had the pig out platter for 2 for my wife and I. Massive portion, bigger than I remember. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork and half a chicken with corn bread, and 2 sides. I’m ashamed to say we couldn’t quite finish it all. But god did we try!!!! Will keep coming back.

One of our group had fried chicken which was slightly undercooked. She asked them to cook it some more. Jim (assume he is the manager) went out of his way to come to our table and apologized, told us they threw the chicken away and put another one for our friend. He was amazingly hospitable, kind and sweet. Thank you Jim, in a time where the culture of customer service in most places is lacking, you made our day and demonstrated hope for the future of food industry.

I love BBQ. This is literally one of the very best BBQ restaurants I have ever gone to. The only one better was in Memphis. I highly recommend this place. We ordered ribs and they had SOOOO much meat on them. They were delicious. I have never eaten so much in my life as I did hear, because I couldn't stop, it was so good. Tons of food. We couldn't eat it all. We ordered the platter and it came with sides and it was tons of food for just two people. Amazing. Highly recommend

The food was great! The customer service was amazing. The master chef even walked out and talked to us right before they opened.

One can smell the BBQ smoke as you get close to Virgil's which has a great location on the LINQ Promenade. Good people watching, good menu selection and good service. The pulled pork sandwich with grilled onions ( $19.20) is very good as is the smoked turkey club ($19.95). Portions are pretty generous and the meats are never dry like at some smokehouses.

I had a cheeseburger and fries and my husband had a side of beef BBQ. The BBQ was dry with no smoke ring, and minimal flavor. Cheeseburger was overcooked. Not the best meal, but service was good.

Our first time visiting here, and we visited for lunch and were very impressed with the authentic BBQ restaurant feel, design and décor and choices of sauces available on the table. Service was fast and friendly – and we opted for a variety of BBQ, Cheese Melt, Chilli, Dirty Fries, BBQ Beans and Burnt Ends. We also opted for the Candied Bacon, but sadly were told (despite being lunchtime) that this would not be ready for another few hours. Overall the food was nice, but we have definitely had better BBQ elsewhere. The BBQ burnt ends, didn’t have that crispy texture you expect, but were quite fatty. The brisket, again although tender and juicy, had a significant amount of fat. We had high expectations for this BBQ joint considering the brand, and its few premium locations around the World. Although we mostly enjoyed it, considering the steep price, the quality of the food didn’t hit the mark, so we probably wouldn’t return.

Deafening noise of the DJ who kept music loud at very high levels despite there being no one dancing or requesting it. Combo ribs and steak pretty good. Cabernet wine just enough. Exorbitant prices. Bad service throughout.

Had the brisket, spare ribs with fries and baked beans. The meat only had a smoke taste to it. If they season them, you couldn’t tell. The baked beans didn’t have much of any taste to them either. Just a smokey taste. The brisket is listed as Texas beef brisket. Taste nothing like any Texas brisket I’ve ever had.

Found a bug in my food and a manager didn’t even come to the table to to see if I was ok or anything. They were very nonchalant. Don’t eat hear

Wow and wow. The food is fantastic. Best smoked bbq for a long time. Our server Joe was brilliant. We are new first time here and really friendly and helpful. A real must for a superb meal. And. Value here was great. Paid a lot more elsewhere and received a lot less in taste and value.

Very nice. Rather quiet. Great waitress: Tanya was great! We ate well. Thanks to her for her welcome and her smile!

I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs, greens and potato salad. My husband and I shared their banana pudding. The food was delicious.

Great service, fun environment and great food. It’s gotta a be a good BBQ place if the wrap the utensils in a bath towel. I’m annoyed by BBQ and cheap paper towels on the table. We had a good steak, and good brisket and the best smoked beans I’ve ever had. The French fries we excellent. Very crispy and not over done. We would do it again

The brisket was lukewarm and lacking moisture but was 90% meat and not 50/50 meat to fat like some places. Their smoky bbq sauce helped. The spicy links were nice and spicy. Coleslaw was fresh. Their chicken salad had some weird tasting stuff in it besides the arugula. Drinks were good but overall, not worth it for the price.

Our first proper meal this Las Vegas trip and a big disappointment, service was meh, - we had to ask to order drinks, no one checked how the food was until we were almost done etc. and the food was below average. Onion rings - pretty good Fried pickles - very chewy My combo of chicken and ribs was poor, the chicken was dry and the rub tasted as if it had been poured in post cooking! The bbq sauce on the ribs feasted like sugar and vinegar mixed together and the coleslaw was watery and tasteless My dad had chicken and his was also dry and powdery. My mum had the chicken fried chicken and said it was tasty enough and the Mac and cheese was good, but they brought the wrong side (watery coleslaw when she asked for potato salad) and when we raised it they seemed confused, they did bring the potato salad but then charged us for a side separately- we didn’t bother to correct it at the end of the meal when we saw our bill because we just wanted to leave. My brother had the ribeye which he said was average, my “free” steak special at Ellis Island a day later was on par apparently Drinks - tangerine beer was decent but my mum asked for a fruit cider and they confirmed wild berry flavour, it wasn’t a cider at all, I think it was a seltzer and it was not good. At $60+ per head it was disappointing. I genuinely enjoyed panda express for lunch more!

Service was poor and food was worse. Too much money for a very bad experience. Ordered a drink and the food came long before the drink and it was the wrong one. Never again

I'd consider myself a connoisseur of barbecue as we have a smoker at home and have eaten at lots of bbq places. We split a two meat plate. The bbq chicken was very tasty. Their brisket was fine and was untrimmed so it had a lot of fat on it. Yuck. The fries and small portion of cornbread were good. The real star of the meal was the macaroni and cheese - the best I've ever had. If you're looking for really good barbecue, you'll probably find it elsewhere. If you don't mind an ok meal, this place will suffice.

Was craving BBQ, and popped into Virgil's for a lunch. Just ordered the chicken wings and a drink. The wings were tasty enough, however, severely overcooked, and dry as shoe leather. There was hardly any sauce on them, but they did bring me a side of sauce, which helped a bit. They just shrugged their shoulders at me when I told them how dry they were. Virgil's is in a great location on the Linq Hotel Promenade, and likely get a lot of walk in traffic. They won't get my business again. I'll wander off the strip and find a good BBQ spot that takes pride in serving a good product.

0 is what it is. Ate the brisket and 1 hour later threw it all up. No idea what it was but do not visit. I couldn’t even hold it down. Walked from there back to resorts world just fine. Laid down and couldn’t keep it down.

Great food! Their brisket was awesome! We had a great waiter as well! I would highly recommend to go here. The pulled pork was awesome too

Located near the Flamingo Casino. No wait for a table. Ordered the fried chicken and the memphis ribs. Portions for both entrees were decent size -chicken 4 pieces and 5 large ribs that were tender and fall off the bone delicious. The ribs are dry rubbed with different sauces on the table to regulate the spiciness you want on the ribs. A good variety of sides and the beer was icy cold! It is a bit pricey as all the restaurants on the strip seem to be.

Booked as we were visiting the sphere. Service was quick and the food was delicious, I’ve recommended to a friend who is coming out in August.

The bbq was very good. I had the pulled pork sandwich and shared the nachos. Both were delicious. Better than the food was the service. Tanya took care of all of our needs. She was cheerful, engaging, and efficient. We would definitely return.

Our waitress was Alex H. was absolutely awesome. She was so easy to work with and very knowledgeable about the various dishes. She made several suggestions and the dishes were fantastic! Alex H. made the experience so comfortable and her attitude and attentiveness was off the chart. She was available but didn’t hover. I highly recommend Virgil’s and ask for Alex H. as your server.

We found this wonderful restaurant walking down the LINQ promenade. The vibe, smells, and look of the customers' meals on the patio made the decision to return for dinner after our evening show a must. Tracee's recommendations were spot on and the portions (for two) were generous and delicious. Tracee was a delight and her service was the best. Good music too. Not so loud that we couldn't talk as well as varied genres.

This is the perfect spot for an amazing meal, drinks, and people watching! It is located at the Prominade where a lot of activity is happening (ziplines, High Roller, shops, restaurants, etc). The meal was scrumptious too! Make sure to try the Mac and Cheese (YUMMY)! Everything was great!

We had a variety of meals. We started with onion rings and hush puppies. We had a club sandwich, ribs, brisket, ribeye, pulled pork sandwich, mashed potatoes, beans, cornbread etc. All were good. All portions were big and we had a lot of leftovers.

I ate here for my last night in town before heading out and I can only say I'm so happy I did! Atmosphere is great, sitting on the patio is a good spot (it was hot outside but there seems to be a slight breeze on the promenade so it felt great). Food is reasonably priced compared to the Strip and portions are massive. I couldn't finish my fried chicken even though it was delicious. Drinks are also very reasonably priced so it makes for a great meal without breaking the bank Even with a great location, good food and cold drinks, the star of the night was Melinna, my waitress. She is one of those people that just makes you smile whether you are having a good or bad day. Always on the ball, checking in often without making you feel rushed. A contagious smile and energy that just makes you feel welcomed. While people are always easy to complain, I feel it's important to highlight amazing service and of all the meals have had in town for the last 5 days, this is the best service I've had. Someone who is truly in her element and just seems to thoroughly enjoy her work. Thanks again Melinna for such an amazing evening. I will definitely be back next visit to Vegas.

Had a lovely meal one of our better meals all week on the strip IZAIAH was very welcoming. Would recommend anyone to go there

Good food, friendly service, but price-quality is not really great, too expensive for what you get, but nice place where you can sit outside

Perfect place! Food was fantastic, honestly best ribs, burger and brisket beef ever. Service was outstanding, thank you Ronnie 😁

Great food. Super fast and friendly service, even though we showed up just before closing time. We'll definitely be back.

Poor service and average food at best! We has a server change just after we ordered our dinner? Who does this? I worked in the restaurant business for decades. You don’t mover servers to other areas at peak dinner time. I had the smoked turkey sandwich, the bread was so dry and not very much meat on it. I was really surprised. My wife had the chili and it was barely heated up. We eat at Carmines the sister company and have always had great service and food. Honestly so many other choices on the strip that have better service and food. Interesting it was dinner time and 70% of the restaurant was empty. Really disappointing.

We went for lunch at this restaurant and ordered the BBQ nachos, chicken wings and Memphis style Pork spare ribs accompanied by macaroni and cheese and typical mashed potatoes. The nachos are good but spicy, so if you don't like them, you need to pay attention to that. The chicken wings are large, so they don't have much flavor. The Ribs are smoked and with plenty of meat, well prepared and very well served. In fact, this restaurant has very generous servings. The side dishes are very good. We ordered white wine but this restaurant doesn't have wine glasses, they served it in water glasses…. Water is from the tap but free. The order came quickly, but what made me give it 3 stars was the attitude of the employees... the restaurant was empty but only one was working, the others were just looking at the television where an American football game was playing 🏈 I raised my hand to place an order, looked and completely ignored the customer. I didn’t even bother to call the employee who could be in charge of the orders…. Value for money and adjustable in Las Vegas

Tanya was the best. Food was very well seasoned and tasty. Definitely recommend getting the pick 2 bbq combo enough for 2 adults. 👍

Superb quick food. Really delicious. We had not booked and were asked to wait for a table since staff were changing over. We sat at the bar and ordered sat there, which was great as we sat outside looking in so experienced the buzz of the street. Friendly staff, and tasty decent portions.

Enjoyed delicious brisket on a sandwich and a salad (which was a great option to have) excellent service by Austin. Only con, the tables outside need some repair.

We shared a platter and really enjoyed the tender meat and sides. The atmosphere was great with live music. The service was good however could be more attentive. Overall a good BBQ restaurant to enjoy.

Was disappointed, food was average and it was expensive too. The ribs were tough and when I complained I was told that because they get marinated in Virgil's spices etc. Didn't think spices would make the meat tough. I was offered another meal but declined. I would not go back, food overpriced for what it was.

We decided to eat at Virgil's having visited their restaurant in New York a few years ago. After a few days in Vegas we decided a lighter dinner was in order so shared starters of bbq nachos and fried sweet pickles. Both were very tasty as was the southern sparkler cocktail and frozen lemonade drink

Five of us older folks (!) looking for a casual dinner near our hotel stumbled upon Virgil's and were treated to a great BBQ meal recently. They offer an extensive menu, from ribs to brisket to pulled pork to chicken and everything else in between. Even though knowing great BBQ takes hours to smoke, they are prepared to serve you within minutes ordering. Everyone in our party was satisfied with the taste and portion size of our dishes. The bar and beer menu was also quite large although fairly expensive, as is everything in Las Vegas. As long as you are prepared to pay double in this city for everything, you might as well try Virgil's and feel that you got your moneys worth. A special mention about the service here...best in town! We had a young man on his first night on the job, trailed by a trainer, who was friendly and efficient throughout. Our only minor complaint was the excessively loud, pounding music throughout the restaurant provided by a live DJ to the point of not being able to visit without getting a case of strained vocal cords! But, stop in for a great meal and you won't be disappointed.

Great service, Nick was super helpful with recommendations! Outdoor dining option w/great happy hour options, especially for convention goers. Bring your badge!

I would not recommend this place. The food was cold and the service was sub par. Plenty of other options for better food in the area. We tried the ribs, brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese. Maybe our expectations were too high?

Virgil's is a must hit on every trip, have had many things on the menu and they have all been EXCELLENT. If I could make one *TINY* suggestion - the BBQ Brisket Melt is one of my favorite sandwiches ever but last time I was there they had clearly changed the bread to more of a french bread. They must have just made the switch because 3 months prior it was the same as ever, and the Bartender was really pressing me for my opinion on it. So I was honest and mentioned that I liked it the other way better. It's not a deal breaker, I'll still order it, but the original way was better!

Booked an outside table to watch the strip and enjoyed an evening 3 days prior to visiting, arrived on time , to be told there was none, and then watched the greeter due to having long nails be unable to find the booking and even work her Ipad while telling me i did not have a booking, so after i pointed it out myself and showed her my name,i was told to wait 15 minutes as a walk in who had not booked was seated outside , so i cant comment on the food or the drinks as i did not get passed the rude and quite frankly hopeless door attendant, we left and went across the rd to Gordon Ramsey's fish and chips and that was fantastic and sat on the strip and saved money so lessoned learned on the service at Virgil's Las Vegas

We were traveling with a toddler and our server Jessie was so accommodating and helpful! The manager was great... the whole team was cheerful and helpful. The brisket, chili, and even smoked vegetarian tacos, were delicious! The sides were great too.

This place is a gem. It’s located by the Linq. Every time we visit Vegas, we make sure to eat here. This is our 3rd year visiting. It never disappoints. Tanya, our server, was excellent. She made our experience a positive one. The food was excellent. The barbecue meats all are really good. This visit we ordered the combo and chose the brisket and trash ribs- it was delicious, it came with 2 choices of sides and we chose dirty rice and Brussels sprouts.the corn bread is amazing as well. It was a perfect amount of food for my husband and I for dinner. If you’re a sports fan, this is the place to come for to for its big screens and relaxed atmosphere. Always a good time. We will definitely come back.

Authentic BBQ. Food is great, restaurant environment suits any ocasión. Service is quick and very nice. We also loved the location, the restaurant is right at the hearth of the strip.

First off, great atmosphere. Wonderful service. But the barbeque itself is probably about it three or four out of 10. Dry, mediocre flavors, chicken was dry, brisket was dry, spare ribs we’re actually good and tender. Burnt ends tasted OK, but covered it in a tonne of really thick thick sauce. Cornbread was pretty good, and the brussels sprouts tasted really good. None of it worth the price. Felt like a chain barbeque place, versus authentic

My waitress was Ronnpe, she took very good care of us, she made sure to make us laugh a little and was very sweet. She never left me thirsty, and she kept up on her tables.

The food was absolutely horrible! We ordered BBQ Nachos which was advertised as Barbecued Pulled Chicken, Carolina Pulled Pork, Texas Beef Brisket & Jalapeños over a bed a chips. What we got was chips floating in BBQ sauce with limited chunk’s of fat (that they said was brisket) with no pulled pork or chicken. We complained and were told meat is pre-portioned and it was there! It was a total waste of $20.00.

After walking down the Linq parade and smelling the smoke from Virgil's we chose to eat here on our last evening in Vegas, and I am so glad we did! From the very start, this was a great experience; the two people greeting on the outside podium were happy to see us, with great smiles on their faces and very friendly. Our server was wonderful, so friendly and chatty right the way through our visit and knowledgeable about the menu answering all the questions we had. We had a range of items from the menu, including the BBQ platter - I had the brisket and pulled pork; the brisket had an intense smoky outside with a meaty flavour throughout and pulled pork was juicy and flavoursome. Another in the party had the ribs that were tasty and juicy, another had a salad that was huge and extremely tasty. The mac & cheese was gooey and tasted great and the BBQ baked beans were a delight. Virgil's own IPA beer is marvellous, rich and hoppy and goes well with the accompanying meat-feast. The Margarita gallon is great value if there's a few of you drinking it - I'm not an expert of this cocktail and I don't normally like margaritas, but I tried a little and Virgil's tasted lovely to me. We absolutely had no room for desert, the portions are huge! But one person had the Peanut Butter Pie and they loved it too. My only negative is that this is a bustling atmosphere, it's full of happy customers (I guess that's a positive) and it can be a little on the loud side. It didn't spoil our visit, but it would be nice to have a quieter area that people can be offered if they wish. This wouldn't have been our first choice of dining in Vegas, but we're all so glad we visited; it was one of the nicest meals we had in the city and pretty good value given its location on the Strip.

Food was fantastic and the service provided by Ronnie was above and beyond; excellent customer service.

Well, they have a sign that says, "best BBQ in Nevada" yeah, thats what they all say. And they got it wrong, this is the best BBQ in the world!!! I have traveled the world over, and I have never had a brisket better! (I lived in Texas 4 years, never thought I would taste a better brisket) The ribs, chicken - fall off bone. The flavor, wow - you don't need the BBQ sauce, they have 3, which are all perfect for what they say they are - but, the meat is so tender, flavorful, juicy - you simply don't need it. The sides are excellent and the service is scary fast! You add all this to the pricing, and you are in for a real treat at a reasonable price. Be forewarned, if you get the pig out for 2, unless you are a huge eater, you will not finish! At like $55 for 4 meats, 2 sides, and cornbread, it is a huge meal. I ate here twice this trip, wish I had one near me, then again, I would gain 50 pounds - never mind. Genuinely one of (if not the best) BBQ's you will ever eat!

We have never eaten at Virgil’s before but it came as a good recommendation from our friends. We were greeted and seated quickly. The server was great at explaining the menu and was quick with the drinks. The server was very attentive during our stay. The menu is southern BBQ with all the meats represented. The pulled pork was unbelievable and so juicy. The sample platters come with plenty of food for either sharing at the table or take home for later. Prices for the meals are a touch above normal but a decent deal considering the larger portions. Drinks were made well and definitely satisfied our table. The kids menu was a hit as well and has good options for the finicky kids. We ate indoors as the outside air temp was quite cool. Overall, a great experience, good food and ambiance. Highly recommend.

Really great steak at this restaurant. Staff very friendly and good quality food. Would recommend if you are out and about in the Linq area.

Great meat. Ribs, brisket and pulled pork were flavorful and well cooked. Side dishes (potato salad and collard greens) were garbage though.

Angela and Ian on a first visit to Las Vegas felt surrounded by glitz, “glamour” and commercial overkill searched for a bar and restaurant which did what it promised. We found it at a place called Virgil’s. Fabulous and welcoming staff gave this bar a comfortable feel. Special mention to one server - Gabriella- who was fantastic. Food speciality was barbecue and we tried a lot of it in our frequent visits. Dry rub chicken was excellent, popcorn shrimp was also great and the key-lime pie was delicious. Very reasonably priced and the place was superbly run by the lovely Manageress Trina. A gem of a place. Thank you

Located in the LINQ promenade it is close to the high roller and comedy club.. indoor or outdoor seating and great service.. large portions. Ribs pulled pork and the sides were all good

Would highly recommend this restaurant if visiting Las Vegas! The food is amazing, cocktails were excellent and such a great menu, it was hard to choose… had to go back a second time! Great service too👍

We have dined at the NYC Times Square Virgils many times over the years. We rarely got to NYC without going to Virgils. We arrived at the LV restaurant around 4pm in a mostly empty restaurant. We were seated against the back wall. We liked the quiet privacy after an active day at a noisy trade show. The tables around us were all empty. Two minutes after we were seated the hostess sat a couple with a screaming infant in a stroller about three feet away - right next to us! I went to the front and requested to be moved. I politely asked why they sat a couple with an infant so close to an occupied table in a mostly empty restaurant. I was told by the dining room manager that they need to manage the seating based on the open stations. I asked if these were the only two tables in the station considering several tables around us were empty. His response was that I should have advised the hostess that I was "anti-infant". We left the restaurant and will not return in LV or NYC. We will never feel the same about Virgils.

Definitely my favorite spot on the strip! Everything is good especially the brisket. Drinks are great as well! 5 stars for me!

Frankie was the absolute best. She was very attentive and outgoing. she was on point and had an amazing personality while managing multiple tables at one. when we asked for something, we got it in a timely manner. The service alone was 10/10 but even the dinner itself was a 10/10! definitely coming back because of Frankie. She was the BEST !!!

I’ve had barbecue in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas City, and Memphis. Virgil’s is the first or second best bbq I have ever tasted. The brisket is off the charts fantastic. Ribs were great too. Sides were good as well. Excellent service too.

Very warm welcome even though there were 7 of us and a big storm had just hit LVegas. From the children's menu to that of "grown-ups", everything is tasty and generous. No room for dessert. Little choice of wine. Very helpful and smiling staff. Good value for money.

A great spot with reasonable prices for Vegas. We sat outside and I loved the BBQ chicken. My son had the fried chicken which was just average. Husband liked his ribs and brisket. Sides were good. The service was OUTSTANDING! Nice outdoor environment but music is a bit loud.

Holy mother that was good! Soooo much food and blooming tasty. Got the BBQ combo with ribs and brisket. Both frigging delicious and the Mac and cheese is cheesier than actual cheese… Tanya is a lovely server. Really thoughtful and friendly.

We usually don't eat lunch when we are in Las Vegas...breakfast and dinner. But we were still full from the night before, so we decided on an early lunch. My husband has always wanted to try Virgil's so we gave it a shot. Easy walk from the Mirage. Got there a few minutes early before they started serving lunch. The service was extremely slow, since there was hardly anyone in the place, it was odd. We both got sandwhiches which were delicious. Loved the bbq sauce! $50 for both of us was very reasonable. I am not sure we will go back? Wasn't crazy about the atomosphere and the slow service, but the meal was really good.

We’re staying nearby and we decided to try the southern barbecue place. We are regular visitors to the south and this barbecue was probably the best barbecue sandwich I have ever had. I had the barbecue pork sandwich and my wife had the beef brisket sandwich. We got french fries and as a side we also got the mac & cheese, which are both really good. There was also live music, which was fun and lively as well. We would definitely recommend this if you are nearby

Ate here in the evening, after seeing good reviews. In no way disappointed with great food and fantastic service, a fantastic find just off the strip, definitely recommend.

The bbq here is decent. The crust on the brisket was extremely salty, the ribs were very tender and meaty and the grilled veggies were great. Mac n cheese taste good but noodles were under cooked. If you’re in the mood for bbq eat here it’s good but not great

Great sandwiches and great portions. They really fill those sandwiches. Service is very good and fast. Price is very good (specially for the size of the portions)

Great relaxed place to eat whilst in Vegas. Menu is full of all the usual bbq and their spiked lemonade is lovely! Portions are huge! If it says feed 2, it will comfortably feed 4!

Popped in for a spot of lunch as I had a few hours to kill before leaving Las Vegas and really fancied some ribs. I went for the half rack, which was huge, sweet potato tots and coleslaw. Service was great, as was the food and unfortunately I couldn't finish al the ribs. Will definitely check this place out again when I'm back in Vegas.

Come here if you want dry ahhh bbq that is way overpriced. Everything but the bbq was good. The sides were 10/10. Just not the dry ahhhhh bbq

This place sucks, food was awful, got told we couldn’t sit outside after being told a server wouldn’t come serve us outside. When I first asked they said we could order to go and sit out and eat outside on their unattended patio. Paid for food, tipped the same as if we actually got more than take out then was told after buying our food we couldn’t sit outside. Will never give this place my business again, especially since the food is trash! Better BBQ sadly at famous Dave’s. Poor job management, so many options in Vegas, this is not a good one by any means. Do better

Visited when invited to a business drink. Lovely location and party food excellent. Servers attentive, lovely outside eating area to people watch.

Very good American restaurant, the burger I had, excellent, the deal too, the only thing that the price is somewhat high but if you don't mind spending a little more is highly recommended.

Walked past Virgil's for days and the smell finally lured us in. The pick two combo was ok, nothing special to me. Some meat was too tough, some too fatty. Service was good.

We had an amazing experience at Virgil’s. Our server was awesome. We had a party of 20 and she handled it like a pro. Food was delicious. We would totally recommend Virgil’s to everyone!

We had a reservation here for our group of 8 and had a great dinner. The restaurant is large and very loud. We had trouble hearing and carrying on a conversation as they have a live DJ as well as large tvs everywhere. They had the standard BBQ fare and I chose pulled pork with cheese grits and bbq beans. The meat was cooked to perfection and was tasty on its own but I also loved their sauce. The cheese grits were superb and you had corn bread as well. No one went home hungry or disappointed!

Locals. Used to like coming in and listening to the music and having a few drinks. Came in Friday and Douglas was so unfriendly and terse we won't be back. Felt like we were bothering him. Miss the friendly black gentleman that's usually there.

Next to the Linq Hotel, this is a great place to eat. We had the BBQ chicken sandwich and the brisket sandwich which were great. Each plate came with homemade potatoe salad and coleslaw. We finished off with key lime pie which we really enjoyed. Our waiter was very kind and friendly.

Great selection of drinks and the most wonderful server Izaiah who made the experience all the more enjoyable! Definitely returning!

We ordered the spare ribs and country salad. All very good and nice that there is a country performance ongoing while eating.

Loaded brisket nachos and their hand cut chips was a perfect snack after a few hours at the tables. Only downside is to get happy hour you have to sit at the bar and it's a small area so get there early

Amazing food had a evening meal and breakfast the next day. Even though they were busy we were looked after and I definitely recommend the hungry boy breakfast or in the evening the peanut butter pie

Brilliant bbq. I know bbq. I do it well myself. I’ve had bbq through the south. This is among the best I’ve had. Country fried steak with gravy and collared greens. Yeah, son!

Generous portion. The brisket was tender. Ribs didn't even need sauce. Fresh squeezed lemonade to boot. Pictured a shared platter.

Great food and service. We went there a few times and had a different meal each time. The price was reasonable and good value for money. Big portions and brilliant food options. Our first stop when in vegas.

We just happened upon Virgil's in the Linq promenade while in Vegas. From the outset, the staff made us feel welcome as we were unsure if we wanted to sit outside and people watch (which with their location is a great spot to do this) or go inside and get some A/C. We opted for inside. The next staff member we met was our server and, again, very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. My wife got a breakfast Burrito that came with home fries and a tomatillo sauce. We actually ended up splitting that because it was huge! The sauce was great and the burrito just perfect. I got Virgil's Big Bloody Bull Rider (Big Mug) and added their famous BBQ skewer (cherry tomato, pickle, bacon lardon, brisket, chicken wing). I might fly back to Vegas just to have this again. It was perfectly spiced and the food on the skewer was enough for a meal. We are glad we strolled past this place and decided to go in. Great staff, Great food, Amazing drinks (and good music playing). Highly recommend.

Ima be straight up, I don’t write reviews but dam is this joint kickin a must! Best BBQ I have tired.

our nephew wanted meat so thought this place would be great as we were staying in the linq we booked a table for the following night they said happy hour was i think 4-6 so booked the table for 5.30 the inside is very dimly light making reading the menu actually quite difficult we where told that no happy hour was on ??? the food came out quickly and was tasty but to be honest we have eaten better there is a smoke house just off the stip which is better to be honest but it was a nice experience and propably the dearest meal we had the whole trip

I love the NYC Virgil's and this is on par! I had a dinner reservation but opted instead to sit at the bar to people-watch visitors walking by. Great choice! The ribs and brisket were perfectly smoked and cooked. The homemade potato chips "appetizer" were temp hot and perfect. Bartender was friendly and on point: excellent martini and ice-cold draft beer. I'm going back in a few days for a quick break from SoCal!

I visited Virgil's with my family in April 2024. We got dinner, and then later breakfast. Virgil's is a great barbecue place on the Linq Promenade. The prices were fair for what we got, and the menu was varied and tasty-looking. My only gripe was that the service was slooooooooow. We waited a very long time for both dinner and breakfast. The server took forever to do anything--bring our drinks, our food, and the check.

Amazing food (the Pig Out fed four of us with leftovers to take back to the room), fantastic service (thank you, April), great location on the LINQ Promenade. Will definitely stop here whenever we are in Vegas.

Stopped in for a unplanned while walking around. Wasn't busy, but nowhere in Vegas was busy when we went. Generous portions, which I appreciate when it's so expensive. Everything was delicious, no complaints.

Came here for a meal of a party of 8 and wasn’t overly impressed with the quality for the price paid. Large portions which would have been better on a bigger plate. It was a bit too dark for our liking and even saw a couple of guests with their torch out to read the menu. However those who had the $70 sharing plate really enjoyed it.

We stumbled upon this place by pure accident, and what an accident it was. Fantastic food, lively atmosphere, and super engaging staff. I'd highly recommended the 1/2 rack of smoked ribs. What a taste sensation. These came with cornbread and x2 side, which we picked mac n cheese and coleslaw. I have a very healthy appetite, but I couldn't finish the dish. Food was accompanied by a spiced rum and coke. Very reasonably priced.

Frankie was a fantastic server and was great when our table changed from 2 to 18. Food was fantastic, we will definitely be back.

We love smoke houses. Vergils proved to be very tasty good sauces on the side not just smothered on and three choices. Everything was going great until I got to the end cut that should never have been served and this results in the low rating. Service and atmosphere was great. If finished food is to well done don’t sell it to a customer that wants to enjoy every bite.

My first visit to Virgil's and I would like to go again with a friend. I am a huge bbq fan and have tried almost every bbq place in town. I also grew up in the Carolinas and lived in Texas too , so I am pretty knowledgeable about regional tastes and favorites. Reading some of the reviews Virgil's seems to be a little inconsistent. I had a pretty good first visit , but it wasn't perfect like most places. To start with I really like the decor and layout of the restaurant. It has 2 levels with a dance floor and bar upstairs , dining and bar downstairs , and an outdoor dining area with misters to help with the heat. I was seated right away and my waitress , Tonya , was very nice , attentive , and knowledgeable. She checked on me several times and when I didn't like one side item she replaced it. Also , they do a Locals Discount of 20% or a Military Discount of 10% , which is nice since it's a little more pricey since it is on the Strip. Now for the food. I got the 2 Meat Plate with Brisket , Pork Ribs , Beans , Cheddar Cheese Grits , and Cornbread and a PBR Draft to wash it down. They also have 3 different bbq sauces and I tried each one on both meats. Brisket was really good and smokey like it should be. Not moist , but not dry either. I liked the Jalapeño Mango Bbq Sauce on this the best. I would recommend the Brisket. Pork Ribs were meaty and had a dry rub on it and they were okay. Not fall off the bone , but again in the middle of dry and moist. Again the Jalapeño Mango tasted the best on them with the Hot Bbq a second choice. I probably wouldn't get the Pork Ribs again. Beans were pretty solid with bits of brisket in it. The only thing I didn't like was the pieces of onion in it. I would still recommend the beans. Cheddar Cheese Grits , I love grits and I was so disappointed in these ! I took 2 bites and Tonya replaced them with Mashed Potatoes with Mushroom Gravy. The best Cheddar Cheese Grits I've ever had was in Laughlin , Nevada at Bumbleberry Flats inside the Pioneer Casino. Such a surprise being West of the Mississippi. Mashed Potatoes with Mushroom Gravy. The mashed potatoes you can taste they are real , not in the packet , very good. The mushroom gravy is a little to dark and heavy tasting and overpowers the potatoes. If they were to thin it out a little or add a little milk or cream to thin it out it would taste better. Cornbread looked pretty good , but nothing there. Little to no flavor and it looked like it had maybe tiny pieces of jalapeño in it , but you couldn't taste it. Now with all this being said I've heard good things about their Fried Chicken and would like to come back and try it. I was also too full to have any dessert and I see they have Banana Pudding and Pecan Pie as they should being a Bbq place. My PBR was nice and cold on draft which I prefer. My meal after almost a $10 Discount was $40.71 which the discount basically paid for my beer. As I said it's more pricey since it's on the Strip , but I think it's a pretty solid place to eat and I would recommend you giving it a try.

Delicious lunch with multiple BBQ options on the menu. We had a BBQ salad with a combo of meats. HUGE portions and enough to take home. Fried pickles were amazing and a nice selection of craft beer.

Great dinner spot on the Linq, although busy we were seated straight away, our server was friendly and she recommended a platter as she told us there would be plenty for two and she was right. We had sides of mac & cheese (yummy), and fries and the BBQ meat selection was great, tender and flavoursome. Then we finished with their cheesecake dessert which was lovely. We will definetly be back next time we are in Vegas.

Fanatic place, great service and the food was out of this world. From arrival to leaving the service was great, no rush to get us out. 20% from the use of Carmines which was honoured instantly without question and this is on food and drink. We had a platter between us and the server offered her advise and it was spot on. One of the best places to dine at in Vegas along with the sister Italian company called Carmines

Visiting the Linq Promenade for the first time in Las Vegas we had dinner at Virgil's Real BBQ and it was an absolute treat. Our server Tanya was a great help and super friendly, the food was absolutely fantastic, the drinks great, and was on overall great experience. I love in Vegas that I can get a 'to go' cup for my beer that I hadn't finished to take with me. The only complaint I had was that it was a little bit loud inside and we had a hard time talking with others at our table (7 guests). Overall...great place to dine, definitely recommend.

We are locals and had friends in from out of town. We usually eat at Battista’s but they are closed for a remodel. Our friends chose Virgil’s The food (ribs) tasted very good but was very dry, overcooked. My wife had the salad which seemed like yesterday, a bit brown and very limp. A big price for so -so food.

Perhaps this is the best barbecue in Vegas, as the sign says. But based on the super fatty brisket I had, it sure wouldn't win that award in Texas, or even my part of Colorado. At $35 for my brisket meal and iced tea, I expected better. At least our server was nice.

Good place to eat BBQ on the Strip in Las Vegas. Very pleasant and fast service. Nice portions and good food. The only downside (but hey we're in the States) is the quantities.

I have been here a couple times and the food is the real deal. The ribs and brisket were everyone in our groups favorite. The grits sucked but the greens were pretty good. Waitress dumped a whole beer in my lap but that is not the restaurants fault. It is not cheap, but not the most expensive place in Vegas and I will be back there this year for another convention and will definitely eat there again.

The food was great and our server Tanya did a great job getting our order and checking back often and it was busy. We enjoyed the outside dining option as well.

I have never in my life had a nicer meal absolutely unreal been all over the world and this is by far the nicest dish ever eaten

Stopped here for breakfast early one morning and was literally waiting for it to open. The service was really slow and wasn’t great, it was hard work ordering our coffees and the waiter didn’t have a clue. I went for pancakes and they was ok, I was expecting a lot better though, shame really

It was the worst brisket I’ve ever had not even edible actually had to spit it out because I could not chew it up. It was horrible.

Best ribs ever, we just went for a selection of starters as the portions are so big. Food was great but as with most Vegas bars alcohol is pricey

Tanya was an amazing waitress. Such a great and funny worker. Food was delish as well. Highly recommend. Tanya was the icing on the cake.

Incredible BBQ!!!! Juan was our waiter and from the beginning he saw that we spoke Spanish, by speaking to us like that he helped us a lot with that tension that you sometimes feel at your first meal abroad, you know? Always smiling and excellent attitude was a mega plus for the incredible food that this BBQ has.

Atmosphere is good. Service was great. Food horrible, macaroni noodles not done, collard greens hard, barbecue sauce not good at all, dirty rice not good no flavor. Definitely not worth the money prices on the menu.

Visiting from UK so first visit. There were 3 or us and as the portions were so large we shared the sharing platter for 2 and still could not eat it all. It was a selecting of sausages, ribs, steak all well cooked and delicious. We had extremely good and attentive service from Tanya who dispute being busy still found time for a friendly chat. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere , I would visit again, but a smaller meal next tim, but if you have a harty appetite this is the place for you.

Coming in is already cozy, immediately felt good and there was some live music. Menu nice and clear so bring it on. Really nice tent nice staff and good food.

Loved this place! We came here for the gigantic Bloody Mary and it did not disappoint! Great service too!

We had an awesome dinner for two at Virgil's. Ribs, brisket, smoked chicken, pulled pork, corn bread, potatoes and gravy and coleslaw. It was a huge serving for two people. Absolutely delicious!! Service was 10/10 , we had a waiter named David who was awesome and very attentive to us. We can't wait to go back!! Highly recommend. Lovely atmosphere outside and inside the restaurant as well.

This place is junk. Ordered chicken nachos, got brisket nachos with 6 tiny pieces of meat, the plate looked like something I’d make out of my microwave. The brisket sandwich had huge pieces of fat and had no flavor. Do not waste your money on this place. This is not good bbq

We visited yesterday! Teja our server was amazing! So friendly and attentive. The food was beyond good! So tasty! The place was clean, and I would highly recommend. From the English couple. :)
Very tasty and affordable in Las Vegas
Very, very tasty freshly grilled smoked meat. We had a grill plate and shared it plus baked fries (like the Putins in Canada)
