Best pizza of my life

By Lori L |

I just had the best pizza of my life. This meal was incredible. Busy and lively snd amazing service. Loved our meal here. Recommend

Loved it

By Sabrina H |

My husband who’s been in Seattle many times has often told me about the burger at Von’s....finally I was able to join him on a trip to try it for myself and I was not disappointed. The vibe in the restaurant was great, as was the decor. I’d love to go back one day and try a few other things on the menu.

1000x yes Vons

By needcleansheets |

Super friendly staff, good food for all, and a great vibe. You cannot go wrong with Vons. Much better than ripoff restaurants on water. Your go to in downtown Seattle. Cheers

Great place and very good food

By Jarrod M |

Popped in no reservation and was promptly seated and looked after. Staff were excellent and the food better than we hopped for. The Alaskan Cod Tacos were stunning. Really enjoyed our time and will be back.

Eat here. Get bourbon salmon or pastas!

By Julie K |

Went two nights during our stay. Had the bourbon salmon pan roast, the chorizo and clams. Both excellent! Young adult kids had nona Maria pizza and salmon burger. Ok. Hubby had bourbon flight. Good. I had huckleberry bramble - best drink of the week. Second night. The Mac n cheese was extraordinary. The bolognese and lemons and prawns. We’re very good. The quatre via de pizza was great. Drinks second night were ok. View the bar bible. It’s great viewing. Our waitress second night, Katya was extraordinary. Thanks for making our last night in Seattle wonderful.

Excellent All Around

By kelleyy |

Excellent food and great service! Pizza was made with sourdough crust and so delicious. Warning-meatballs have a kick! Wings and salad were delicious too. Atmospheres is vibrant and they truly have 1000 spirits! I had the champagne mango margarita - excellent choice. Highly recommend

Good bar food

By Journey27833015629 |

Food was like gourmet TGIF Grilled avocado Caesar salad with salmon was very nice. My husband enjoyed the Cubano, but had to eat it with a fork because I was messy. They have a nice patio which as closed because they were worried about rain. Inside is very noisy

Great Food

By Chris1A1B1C |

We needed a break from walking and some food, and this happened to be the nearest place to us. We are very glad we found it. The food and service was great. One of the best meals we had in Seattle. Had we come back to the area, we would have went back again. The Salmon Chowder was awesome, and the wings were great.

(5 + 0 ) / 2 = 2.5 star

By S-R-AME |

Day 1. We went there with friends and loved the food. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. We enjoyed indeed. Day 2. We had so great time, hence we went back next day. We already had our menu chosen. We waited 20mins to get seated but thought it was worth it. But we waited for 15 more mins without being attended while other waiters were passing by our table so we just left. If you are lucky, you’ll have a wonderful experience there. If not, no worries, there are so many nearby restaurants to choose from.

Disappointed

By Departure32722059614 |

I ordered the steak and chips and were extremely disappointed with it being cold and steak portion - literally 4 slithers of steak. Cost of meal $37 ...... shocking!

Best handmade sourdough pasta!

By kkcaker |

Delicious homemade sourdough pasta and pizza!! We got the vegetarian/Mediterranean pasta with extra veggies—so delicious! And our two teenage kids got pizza, also wonderful. Our waiter David on the back patio was so nice and fun and helpful!! We had just gotten into Seattle that night, start of a vacation, and this was a perfect welcome to WA.

Expected better

By Norris |

Went here on a recommendation. One barman who was trying his best but was way too busy. Eventually got a whiskey sour that was a bit too sour, and I like whiskey sours a bit in the sour side. The chicken wings were good but the fries terrible. Good selection of whiskey

An excellent meal with great service!

By Kenny S |

This place was fantastic!! I had heard about it from some other people in my group and had to go see it for myself on my last day in town. It did not disappoint—the experience was excellent from beginning to end. I enjoyed the pepper chicken sandwich, a truly unique creation with flavors that really worked well together. Fries were great as well. Servers and greeters were extremely friendly and attentive throughout the whole meal. I enjoyed it so much that I immediately recommended Vons to my in-laws who live in the area and will continue to recommend it to any friends visiting Seattle.

Not past its best

By NorfolkFox |

A very popular restaurant & bar specialising in Spirits & great home-made pasta. We enjoyed the Pasta Pesto and Bolognese dishes. We even bought some sourdough pasta to take home!

Solid dinner and good drinks

By Bill G |

We had a great dinner at Von’s! The food was excellent as always: a fig, prosciutto and chevre pizza, and pasta in a salmon cream sauce, plus a nice simple salad—“proper greens” from the starter menu. Our server, Kinsey, was fantastic: friendly, informative and efficient. Von’s is one of my regular go-tos when in town, and it always delivers.

Great food and reasonably priced!

By Kim H |

This was one of our favorite places to eat while in Seattle. They had very generous portions, great prices, and very good food!! Highly recommend

Great restaurant & atmosphere

By Charlie59_11 |

We enjoyed a tasty dinner at Von's. Fantastic vibe and atmosphere. Friendly, efficient service. Tasty food & impressive drinks selection. Highly recommended.

Good Grub

By Timothy H |

I’m not a drinker, but a foodie friend once told me that craft brew pubs and distilleries are good bets because “people who are serious about their booze tend to be serious about their food.” Seems a fitting description for Von’s. I tried a mocktail—the Cloud Breaker Spritz (tasty!) and then went easy on the food with a simple salad, some delish fries, and a bowl of their salmon chowder, which proved a bridge too far (too rich) on this traveler’s traveler stomach. Interesting presentation and flavors, though, as they toast a piece of sourdough, slip it into the chowder, and then ladle the fresh ingredients—hot peppers, mushrooms, and chunks of salmon—on top. Not cheap. $60 out the door. Bonus points for a kick-ass 80s alternative play list.

Excellent time sitting outside!

By drunknmonkey |

We visited Seattle for my wife's high school reunion and were lucky enough to be "turned on" to Von's. Super drinks! The girls loved the brown sugar peach Manhattans for sure! We actually went back a few days later to test them again!

Perfection

By Karen W |

We didn’t have a reservation but got an outdoor table with just a brief wait on a Thursday. So many good appetizers we never made it to an entree. Friendly service. Great cocktails. More than just IPA on the draft menu. Will return.

More than a bar

By Michael S |

Tiny on the outside, but quite capacious inside. We did not have a reservation but we got right in around 7pm. The service was little spotty but the food is good and not overly expensive. Recommended to us by one the hotel staff and well within walking distance for us. Good choice!

Amazing

By catax |

Fantastic pasta with salmon. Everything else was great too and the service was exceptional. We spent 2 days in Seattle and we repeated…

Great salads and wine

By Resorteye |

We were in Seattle for a lecture at the Benaroya Hall and wanted a lughter dinner before the talk. Whst a great find at Vons. They are very sttentive to yood allergies and we found two great salads, a salmon quinoa veggie mix and a grilled chicken greens and tomato salad. Paired with glasses of cab and merlot made the meal just what we were looking for. Very nice.

Great burgers, bar and atmosphere

By Sille |

Great food, fast and efficient staff and nice atmosphere. Well done guys. Was the best burger in the area and would definitely go back and enjoy an evening or lunch out with friends, business partners on a Friday afternoon since they also offer such nice drinks. Just what we needed after a long week

Wow. Just wow.

By Paul C |

I wish I had a chance to eat here more often. The visit we had was so delicious. We had just some apps, but they were incredible and everything that we saw others eating looked great too. The burrata is ON POINT. The sourdough was second to none. Not to mention the vibe of the place was really cool. Go here!

Eat and drink :)

By P H |

Visiting our nephew - and he picked the place for dinner. Fun atmosphere - but so loud it was hard to have any conversation. We had a burger and patty melt - all good, but not out of this world. Staff were friendly enough. The beer was cold and tasty - so that really does make up for anything else, doesn’t it?! :)

Went with a part of 6- easily

By DTrain |

Went with a part of 6- easily accommodated. The food and beverages were TERRIFIC! Not a bad choice on the menu. We each ordered something different and shared- all good! Highly recommend the clam and bread appetizer!

Great sandwiches, pasta, salads and DESSERTS!!! Please have the apple strudel. You will thank me.

By Peggy’s Spearcarrier |

Food, service always excellent on multiple visits. Chris Rhodes expertly guided our initial exploration of the menu but he may be gone so it has become “Alyce’s Restaurant” (warning: boomer reference) and it just gets better and better. I should wear ear plugs some nights but that is the Seattle restaurant scene. Still miss you Chris R.

Great Food and Drinks

By Krawls6 |

This was a really fun busy spot in Seattle. We had a good dinner and great tasting drinks! The place was very busy on a Thursday night and the space was a little cramped. Other than that it’s a great place to go!

Vons is amazing!!!

By Kyle H |

The stew was phenomenal. David gave the best service ever. You must try the clams the broth is unheard of.

Worth a trip!

By Peggy’s Spearcarrier |

Chris R deserves another star He saw us coming from afar Seated us far from the bar His service was well above par. Food and drinks were really great Right on time, never late We’re coming back on our next date I’m sayin “We just can’t wait!” (He was right about the apple strudel)

Great place for casual dinner and drinks

By Ben G |

Nice place in downtown Seattle with a good ambiance and friendly staff. We were there on a Thursday evening, and it was pretty busy at night. I had the King Salmon Avocado Hamburg, which was very tasty, and there were options for vegans and vegetarians as well. The cocktails were great, especially the pineapple old fashioned. The beer selection was good but somewhat limited. We got the baked skillet cookie for dessert, and it was delicious. Overall this is a good place to enjoy food and drinks with friends if you are staying in downtown Seattle.

Great find

By karenwaterworth740 |

Well what a find food and staff great We had a classic burger and a pizza could not fault it Give them a go we where not disappointed

Favorite Dinner in Seattle

By EdgeStrategic |

We had our favorite meal in Seattle at this place. We took advantage of the happy hour special for the sourdough pasta. The location was a bit cramped, but very pleasant for us because we sat next to the open window. I had the Mac & Cheese which was better than the one at Beecher’s Cheese. It used a blend of cheeses including one of Beecher’s but the sourdough pasta was amazing. My wife had the seafood stew that was really great, plenty of seafood in a great broth. One minor issue was the happy hour seemed a bit deceptive, the discount was available on just one beer, not everything on tap.

I can’t believe I haven’t

By Whozyamama |

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. Best happy hour in Seattle (as far as I know). Their homemade pasta is excellent. You don’t want to miss the salmon mushroom pasta. Great customer service as well. Always recommended by me-they have never disappointed. My foodie young adult daughter loves it as well.

Do not miss the pizza and pasta at this place!

By Trey A |

Wow!!! Even though this was in the main part of downtown, I would call it a hidden gem because of how unexpectedly amazing the food was! We made a reservation using Resy for early dinner. We had a great table right at the front near an open window. Trinkle was our waiter and he was fantastic! We started with some Happy Hour drink specials and the calamari. Our main entrees were the Nonna Marie pizza and the Bobbee’s All Day Bolognese. All of the food was delicious and served quickly. The bolognese is one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. We are probably going to make a return trip before we leave this week, that’s how good it is!!! And I hope we get Trinkle again as our waiter. That guy was just the best!

best Burgers in Town (non fast-food)

By Marcus F |

I've tried about a dozen "burger & beer" places in Seattle - of course you can get lot's of other good stuff at VONS too, but I usually go for "burger & beer" when I'm in Seattle and with this you will definitely not get disapointed here! Best burger I've tried in Seattle!

Great food in Pioneer Square

By KathyR65 |

Excellent food -macaroni and cheese and burger! Service was perfect and the carrot cake for dessert was awesome. Highly recommend it!

Good Food and Service

By Timberwolf3000 |

Happened to walk past and read the menu and decided to try and make a booking for the evening (which was via open table). Reception expected us when we arrived and gave us an option of a table outside on the patio or in the main restaurant. We went to the patio which was nice. David M looked after us and was helpful professional and engaging. Food was really good - Fried Chicken Sandwich and a Chicken Cobbs Salad - both served quickly but were fresh and very tasty. Really like the Mac and Jack's African Amber, WA as well. Great experience and would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent Meal - Covid careful setting

By Brayball |

Excellent meal in a Covid-careful setting. Loved the pizza, pasta and Seattle Seafood stew. Also, tried the “death shot” and “skinny bitch” cocktails. Both were an excellent choice!

Great find!

By PatsyRodriguez |

My husband and I heard from a local that this was a great place to try so we did, twice! Once for dinner and once for lunch. For dinner we ordered the meatballs with bread, a pizza and cod tacos. All were very tasty and the service was good. For lunch we ordered the meatballs again, a burger and pizza to share. The meatballs and burger would have been enough because we were stuffed after just those two. The burger was really good and juicy and seasoned well. The meatballs were tender and flavorful and the bread they served with it complimented them well. The pizza was charred but soft and was really good.

Very good table

By Sophie V |

An excellent address. The staff is attentive, the menu is American but everything is very fresh and the portions are normal. There are also pizzas. Finally, the Mood is warm and the bar incredible.

Lovely place for a bite to eat

By ian |

Superb service and nice food Lovely little decked area out the back perfect for an early evening meal Staff were really friendly

Best flavors of Seattle

By KarenSanDiego |

Found this place while looking for somewhere to eat that was within walking distance of the piers, as we were going on a harbor cruise. This place stood out among mostly tourist-trappy looking places. The food and drinks were both delicious. The burger was one of the best I've had. The seafood stew reminded me of being in Chile. The fish and chips were also top quality. We liked it so much that we came back twice during a quick weekend trip. Would highly recommend.

They make you fee at home!

By Beau W |

So after a nightmare journey from Louisiana to Washington, my wife and I wanted to enjoy a Seattle dinner experience. We got to Vons and immediately smelled the food aroma and knew we had made a good choice. After a short wait the host seated us with a view of the Harbor Steps, the beer and spirits were great, super friendly staff, and ultimately the food was delicious. As a guy from the south I could not have been more pleased with the hospitality. 100% recommend!

I would repeat it without thinking

By mtcantuh |

The food was delicious! Pepperoni pizza is the classic but it has a unique flavor, and the Mac and cheese there is unmissable! Desserts are very good and the waiters and all the staff are excellent! I would repeat it without hesitation!

The best pizzas and crafted cocktails. Service was exemplary.

By LehuaMonsoon |

Visited the Seattle location prior to our cruise and loved it so much we visited the Woodinville location after we got off our cruise a week later (we were visiting the wineries there). This location was a few blocks walking distance from Pike Place Market and our hotel, the Alexis Royal Sonesta. Both locations had amazing food and great service (Ocean rocked the Seattle location and Angel took care of us in Woodinville)! Totally loved the crafted delicious cocktails, with some of the smoothest spirits we've ever had - the vodka was so smooth that I ended up buying a few bottles from Northwest Spirits next door to Von's in Woodinville (Von's uses Savor Spear Vodka made by Northwest). My husband loved the Scratch Martinis. My favorite cocktail was the Hot Honey Paloma, with it's complex flavors. The Skinny B---- was also a novel item with a flashing, color changing LED ice "cube" with spun sugar cotton candy that was prepped right at the table. Amazing wood-fired sourdough pizzas with chewy, savory crusts; my favorite was the 5-cheese Cachio E Pepe drizzled with hot honey. The eggplant hummus was also fabulous! Fries are hand-cut and fresh (not frozen stuff). Lots of vegetarian- and vegan-friendly options. Generous portions. Happy hour is from 2-5 PM and gets crowded but it wasn't too long of a wait for a seat. Not everything on the menu is discounted but some of the pizzas are the full size for the happy hour price!

Excellent Choice of Spirits!

By thebellini |

Just a quick stop in after the Seahawks game for a sip of Bourbon with of course a beer chaser. Selection of Spirits is second to none in the downtown core and you can't miss this place walking up First Ave. after the game. Next time I will definitely try the food as it looked amazing coming out of the kitchen to the various guests at the bar.

So much to choose from

By Mary B |

The menu for food was just as extensive as the menu drinks. I settled on a glass of wine and a juicy burger minus the bread and ended up with enough tomato and lettuce for a side salad as well. Recommend it!

Loved It

By Patricia Ann |

Had a great time at Vons’s. Very trendy, great atmosphere, enjoyed the food. Would definitely visit again.

Chris R made the entire experience!

By T T |

Went to Von’s 1,000 Spirits for dinner before a Girls Night Out at the Kraken game. And boy were we not disappointed. We were sat in Chris R’s section and from the minute we sat down, he made us feel like family. The food was great and the service we received was impeccable! If you are ever in the area looking for great food and a wonderful time, try going to Von’s! And if possible, ask if you can be seated in Chris R’s section!

equally amazing!

By Samantha |

The interactive element of announcing the special drinks over the intercom adds a fun and engaging touch to the dining experience. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, creating a pleasant ambiance.

Sourdough Pasta and Fresh King Salmon

By Matty Easton |

Hearty Italian-American fare in downtown Seattle. It’s got a warm, rustic feel and features fresh local seafood (but still has plenty of options if you’re looking for something other than fish). The staff was warm and friendly, and every hour they spin a giant wheel for a drink deal — we ended up scoring $8 Moscow Mules because of it! We ordered the 1/2 pound of clams as an appetizer, and while the tomato sauce was delicious the real star was the sourdough focaccia — we liked it so much we ordered more to keep enjoying the clam sauce. Von’s is known for their sourdough pasta, and we can see why — it’s got a chewy mouthfeel and sponged up all the pasta sauce really nicely. The salmon “hamburg” was fresh (albeit a bit bland), but the real star was the fries that came along with it — crispy and lightly breaded, they were easily my favorite part of the meal!

A wonder this place survives.

By LRJ2014 |

Don't know where to start. Surly staff, bad food, expensive drinks. Eaten there twice with the same results. Won't go back.

terrific service and food

By spfldeater |

Ate here twice the cod was great as was the salmon burger. Usually crowded we ate at bar both nights. Local beers and drinks were great .Service was outstanding quick service of food if you need to eat quickly. Limited tv viewing.

One of the best evenings in a long time!

By Barbara C |

This restaurant has incredible food, fun and creative cocktails, and wonderful wait staff. Shout out especially to Chris R who made our girls night perfect. A great place to indulge and relax without being pricey. Can’t wait to go back!

OMG! Delicious

By lizzet |

We ended up here at happy hour and tried the Mac and cheese aside a Burger! And oh my it was delicious plus the Moscow Mule and great service was excellent. Definitely recommend anyone to stop by to get some great food.

Great quality food!

By Zachary Grosel |

The food here is great! I was staying the Alexis Royal Sonesta and one of their employees told my family about the place. I had the Double Smash burger and I promise it was one of the best

Really nice food, great service, huge drinks choice!

By Fetlar13 |

Dropped in during a Seahawks v Cardinals game, ate some really nice food and drink during the 4-6 happy hour. Would visit again if we’re ever back in Seattle. $4 for a gin martini....🍸

Great food, Fantastic service!

By ejaquith |

My wife wanted either clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl or pizza. We searched several places and found Vons, who just happens to have sourdough crust pizza… so we figured, hey, best of both worlds! We went there and were blown away. The “regular old pepperoni pizza” is not even close to regular! I found myself taking baby bites just so I could make the flavor last. I cannot describe the flavor in enough detail, just try it!! And then our waiter, Richie. Super knowledgeable about the menu and he’s a mixologist to boot! He made my wife an amazing off the menu rhubarb martini that she absolutely loved. It was spectacular. Great service Richie… keep it going!

Outrageous prices for drinks

By Esperluette92 |

$28 a martini with no warning til the check. they like to rip off people. Many other places better nearby that do not abuse their customers

Close to art museum. Good food.

By EHBTexas |

Busy spot with excellent bar menu. The burgers were excellent. Pizzas looked good too. Our waitress hustled to give us good service. Nice option after the art museum.

Great neighborhood lunch spot

By BlackMambaNumberFive |

This place is packed on weeknights. They spin a wheel every hour to discount the price of the drink the needle lands on. Very fun! They make their pasta in house and have healthy options as well. I think they had the best burger close to my former workplace.

A must visit!!!

By lmlmlm |

Amazing!! Our hotel told us to come here and it has blown our socks off. Wow. Great pizza, amazing cocktails and the service…. BOOM!! Highly recommend Wowza!!

Not a bad thing to report!

By Andrew S |

Great food, in ample quantities at good prices. Incredible choice of spirits to suit all tastes and budgets. Great range of other drinks too. Friendly helpful staff and a clean and spacious venue. What's not to like 😉

Credit card fraudsters

By John C |

The food was incredibly expensive for what it was. My credit card was charged twice for the bill, and the company is not responding to Facebook Messenger posts asking them to fix this.

Great Restaurant, Minor Hiccup with Receipt

By Roger H. |

Food and service was very good, and my table outside by the street offered a nice view of the downtown area. My only issue occurred at the end of the meal when I paid the waiter who was using a tablet to process payments. I asked for a paper receipt (since my company requires one) and was told it would be right out, but after waiting 15 min I had to ask the receptionist for help. I eventually received a paper receipt, but the process to get one was more painful than necessary. Other than this minor annoyance, everything was quite satisfactory and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Best place in Seattle! 🥰

By Jasoncarsonnic C |

10000 % recommend! The smoked old fashioned is the best! Food was amazing, staff were exceptional! Hands down best place to visit ! Wishing they would come to my hometown !

Ok pizza

By Steve Lewis |

The menu offers a vast choice of meal : burger, fish, etc I went for the pizza. I was a bit disappointed as the pizza was served on a grill which make the it difficult to eat. There was too much oil in the pizza which spoil the taste and digestion

Great options

By raininroses |

This place is great! They have various selections of food and drink (including their own bourbon). The staff had great suggestions and were very attentive. They also have later hours than other places, and that's a nice option to have. We would definitely come here again.

Homemade Sourdough Pizzas and Pastas

By backpacker31 |

Stopped in for an early supper which worked out as it got packed, with a line of patrons waiting to get in by the time ‘dinner hour’ approached. On our first visit (yes, the food was so good we returned for dinner again several days later), we had the calamari appetizer and shared a plate of pasta bolognese. Our second visit we shared a pizza (wood oven wild mushroom) and lemon garlic prawns pasta. The homemade sourdough pasta was outstanding as was the sourdough pizza. With an extensive beverage menu, an attentive, welcoming staff and attractive atmosphere, if we find ourselves back in Seattle, we will definitely be heading back to Vons.

A great lunch/happy hour find in the heart of Seattle!

By A.G.E. |

Very easy to find and very friendly atmosphere. Sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by friendly staff. I got their famous cheese burger. That was probably the freshest burger ever! Very good double patty (I added lettuce and tomato) and the fries were some of the best I've ever had. Staff was fantastic. Atmosphere was fantastic. I felt like everyone thanked me for coming in and it was nearly a packed restaurant. Go in. Sit at the bar. Order the burger and enjoy!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food

By David T |

It was lunchtime as we were passing this place, so we decided to give it a try. As soon as we entered the staff appeared very friendly. They also turned out to be very attentive and efficient. As we only wanted a light lunch, we ordered one chicken baguette and a portion of fries to share. The waiter arranged for this to be split onto 2 plates, which was thoughtful. The food was delicious, and my wife commented they may have been the best fries she had eaten in a long time. Would recommend.

So good we came here thrice

By Herefordnomads |

On vacation and found this on our first night - so ended up coming back twice more! Good food and nice beer in a great environment!

Spectacular burger

By vickiebypass |

This was probably the best bacon cheeseburger I’ve ever had. Let me try to explain why: the right amount of grease/juice, flavorful, perfect amount of salt and pepper, the bacon was thick, but not tough or chewy, the cheese had real cheddar flavor and the roll wasn’t mushy, wasn’t hard and was appropriate sized. The whole thing was something I could actually savor with each bite. Very rare.

Lunch with Family

By Emily R |

Von’s 1000 Spirits was great! As a visitor, this was just enough distance from the pier to not feel overwhelmed by the crowds. The food was well-crafted; the house made sourdough pizza crust is a selling point. Alice was the perfect amount of attentive to our family’s needs and went above & beyond to my our kiddo feel special. Would recommend and come back.

Go here!

By Butnut |

Awesome staff and service. Super good food. Looked all handmade. You can see the chefs preparing the food. Nice atmosphere. Loved it. I git the cheeseburger which made me cry. Real french fries. Wife got the pizza which was awesome.

Run to this place !

By mjsledz |

Excellent service, excellent food! Drinks were great too. Kurt was a great server. Pleasant and efficient Def would go back when in Seattle

Lunch stop on Labor Day weekend.

By Curtis F |

Stopped for lunch walking back to the ferry, got the chicken sammich and a Manhattan (which was only 8 bucks). Had to pay extra for fries (one star off). Spent more than I wanted but food was decent. If you want less expensive options head on down to the area by the Seattle Aquarium.

Worth Stopping by Vons...

By CycleTime |

As with many reviewers, Vons was recommended by the hotel staff. We weren't looking for anything fancy, but wanted a decent meal. Service was good and attentive. The menu has a wide variety of entrees, appitizers, and cocktails. Vons also has many TVs in the bar area if you are looking to catch a game. We ended up having a lunch and a dinner at Vons as it met the mark of being simple and good.

The service was not great.

By diane |

We ordered 3 appetizers and drinks. The waitress came to our table 1 time to take our order and 1 time to take our money. The wings were good. The calamari was inedible and chewy and the fish tacos were awful. The hamburgers we saw getting served looked amazing.

Amazingly good food and drink!

By Gerald V |

We just came across this place as we were leaving Pikes's Place and decided to go in. We were seated right away, the service was excellent and the food and drink exceeded our expectations. The sourdough pizzas are a must!

It’s Nothing Special....

By Samsonite_0 |

Wanted to like this place but the food is average. The fish and chips were soggy on the inside and over-fried on the outside. Pretty pricey for average food, I’ll probably won’t bother for a second try unless they consider hiring cooks with a little more experience....

Great location, nice atmosphere, friendly staff... but hidden fee???

By RCE121 |

Wasn't the best dining experience but pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, great location. I'll start by saying we got seated fairly quickly for a mid-afternoon drink and appetizer gathering with just 3 of us. Drinks took about 10-minutes followed by the food shortly there after. we ordered the pork confit fries WITHOUT onions as one in our group has allergic reactions to onions. after one bite we quickly discovered ONIONS... we sent it back and ordered another item. ASSUMING it would be taken off the bill...IT WASN'T. My bad for paying the check without reviewing it as i usually do but we were in a rush to leave so I didn't (Won't happen again). So another surprise after leaving and getting home I discovered a 5% COOK COMMISSION!!! WHAT? Maybe it's just me but this is the 1st for me... Finally, they didn't disinfect tables between guests... They need to be transparent and forthcoming with the %%%. This is why it only gets 3 Stars from me...

Eat here.

By Angela B |

Look, there are a ton of places to eat and drink and the hubs and I struggled to settle on something, but ultimately we found this place. Ridiculous. Amazing. Sat at the bar as our usual cause it's better. Jessica knew her bourbon and was amazing. Chilled a bit, drank some cocktails then ordered the meatballs (appetizer) and King Salmon pasta and pork Mac and cheese (disclaimer: may not be actual dish names). OMG, the BEST pasta I've ever had in US . The portions are huge. The meatballs were the best. Holy moly I had a couple wines _ pinot noir from Oregon and Chardonnay from WA. Hubs had Four Roses small batch select neat and old fashioned with four roses yellow label. Stop looking, stop bickering about how hungry you are but not sure what you want. Eat here. Effing delicious.

Delicious!

By Letty F |

Both the food and the service are excellent, you have to wait a bit because there is usually a waiting line, but it is worth it

More than Food

By RobertMJThompson |

This is a happening place where food, friends, beverage, happiness collect in a surprising way. Not only is the food diverse, but so are the servers and the clientele. Even though I ordered ordinary meatballs I felt with this atmosphere I was dining in offered feasts for all my senses. My host said he comes here all the time. I can see why.

Worth going out for

By Marcus D |

I only write reviews in two cases: when an experience was horrible, or exceptionally good. Von’s is the latter. My wife and I came a few nights ago after attending a performance downtown. We started with their signature scratch Manhattens, and then my wife had a seafood stew and I ordered the pasta bolognese. Everything was excellent, including the bread that came with my wife’s stew. And our server Chris R. took great care of us, indulging several questions about ingredients and whatnot. We don’t go out much because we’re often disappointed. Von’s was a welcome surprise.

Very good option for dining downtown at night

By Emily |

This was one of the few restaurants we found open at night within easy walking distance of our hotel. The wait was shorter than they said it would be, and the service was pretty timely. We ordered two pizzas, a pepperoni and white mushroom. I am not big on sourdough, but really enjoyed the pizzas and thought the sourdough nature of the crust was not noticeable. The pizzas were generous with toppings. We also ordered a salad, which was really good.

Great spot

By Wilson L |

We had a great time checking out Von's. The food looked so good I wish we had tried some, we just got drinks and it was amazing. Service was friendly and fast, we definitely will be back again.

Great food

By Donna S |

Tried Vons based on reviews and it exceeded our expectations. Sat on their back patio on a lovely evening, enjoyed drinks and then food. Try their salmon chowder when you go. Perfectly cooked fresh salmon in a flavorful broth poured over a slice of sourdough bread. Heaven in a bowl.

Great ambience and delicious food

Taste :4.6/5 Environment: 4.4/5 Service:4.5/5 First time ever in Seattle and glad my friends brought me to this place . Our waitness ,Tracy .she is friendly The ambience was great and chill , you are captivated with bottles wall deco Happy hours menu available (HAPPY HOUR PRICES - FULL SIZE PLATES ) Recommend 💛mushroom sourdough pizzas- It’s amazing!! 💛1/2 Lb All American Burger beef is fresh chopped to prime grade marbling. The beef is juicy and tender and the Hamburg bread is fluffy 💛Pasta – You can see they produced the pasta in front the counter so pasta is signature and fresh ! Pasta it’s very chewy which I like but the source it’s too cheese and creamy … for me but if you are creamy type. You would love it !

Best Burgers!

By Travelbugs1004 |

Recommended by our hotel & so happy they did. Absolutely beautiful Hass Avocado & Billionaires Bacon burger, comes in 2 sizes 5 or 10oz which I had & couldn’t quite finish it was quite big & hubby had great BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich. Child friendly with lovely kids meals choices & is obviously popular as was quite busy but nice to be down the back as the front bar area seems quite noisy. Lovely beer & some fancy cocktails, my gin based one had a teat pipette & the table behind had a fire cracker in theirs so very kewl. Lovely looking bar as you walk in. Our server was nothing spectacular but again it was a busy night (Saturday) so just happy we got a table without booking.

Excellent

By toontoon67 |

Came here one evening without a reservation and was kindly shown to one of the few free tables. The place was busy and had a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and were more than happy to make my wife a cocktail which wasn’t on the menu. The food was fantastic. We both had one of the burgers and shared a fries. My wife proclaimed it was the best burger she’s ever eaten! High praise from a woman who enjoys eating at Michelin Started Restaurants, but they were excellent to be fair. There were also a number of delicious looking pasta dishes available, made using pasta freshly made on the premises. Overall, great food and atmosphere. Highly recommended, although you’d be advised to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Fantastic Meal! Not to be missed!

By TheMiahMan |

Best meal while we were in Seattle. Everyone in our party (4) had amazing food! The waiter was fantastic! Quick to get seated, served, etc. My daughter who lives in Seattle has been many times and asked for a drink no longer on the menu. The waiter quickly filled her order (excellent service). A MUST for all who visit Seattle! PS: The liquor list is off the charts!!!!!

Those burgers were kush!

By Andrew H |

I had a Classic burger and an apple strudel. The burger was simply fantastic. The apple strudel wasn't precisely to Austrian specifications, but it was really tasty. My wife had an order of cod tacos and an order of clams, both of which she said were spectacular. I also had a Salish ___ cocktail, which was fine. The service was just great, no problem with our server. I'd give this a 4.5 circles, maybe a 4 for food, except that the server was such a nice guy that it has to be a 5. I'd be happy to return. Good location, too.

Good food and cocktails

By John C |

Enjoyed some great appies and a few cocktails, even the "mystery" drinks that come up every 1/2 hr. Friendly and attentive staff and great location near Pike Street Market. A good place for some fun times.

Cool Vibe, Good Drinks

By kmcd1114 |

Hopping Nite Spot! good Drinks, fun bartenders. We didn't eat there, but I bought some of their sourdough pasta to take home.

Great food. Bought some pasta to take home.

By Trvlgal14 |

Enjoyed dinner at von’s upon recommendation from my hotel. Close to the market, Von’s provided a warm respite from the Seattle wind and rain, and they made strong cocktails! There was a warm, communal atmosphere, and we enjoyed a conversation with the table next to us. Our server Alex was terrific and answered all our questions. He made us feel welcome and gave meal suggestions. Would recommend the Macho salad and pesto pasta. There were two of us, and we split the salad and pasta. It was perfect portions for two. Tables next to us got flatbreads and burgers and they looked good too! Everything tasted so fresh . The sourdough pasta is made in house. We loved it so much, we bought some pasta to bring home. Well done Von’s! I would recommend to others and hope to come back on this trip is time allows!

Outstanding food, mediocre service

By @Person185 |

In general an amazing experience with outstanding food. The pasta was unique and delicious while some of the meats were amazing. Highly recommend the broccoli appetizer as well. On the other side of things, the service was mediocre. They did not clear our plates quickly and were not very insightful on the dishes. They were very nice though and that is worth something. All in all, delectable food and okay service.

Popular and good

By tb911 |

Very busy, to be expected in the heart of the city. We had clams, salad, broccoli, red tacos, and a hamburger. Broccoli was good, light dressing, clams had a good sauce, the salad was good, but a bit too much dressing, Red tacos very good but messy, burger, also messy and tasty, but not true smash burger. The carrot cake was disappointing, too wet, not cream cheese frosting, too sweet. They were out of salted caramel apple strudel - very disappointing.

What a Surprise!

By worldtraveler428 |

We had a late lunch here after sightseeing around Seattle. I will be honest by the time we got here I was starving and didn't care where we went. The staff here was courteous and quickly took care of us. We ordered a few cocktails and they were great but what surprised me the most was the quality of the food. The pasta is fresh and the pizza was amazing. My only disappointment is we didn't have enough room for their dessert. Great place, great food, great drinks and great people.

Great bar & restaurant

By Vegas408 |

Stopped in here for brunch during my recent visit to Seattle. The restaurant is very popular and busy. They have an amazing fully stocked bar and can make any beverage you like. They also have TV's around to watch sports events. The food was amazing as well. We had the Margherita Pizza, Avocado Toast and Seattle Sea Stew. It did not disappoint.

Excellent experience

By Christina H |

We haven't been to Seattle for ages, so when pondering for a place for lunch, we were stumped. We happened upon Vons 1000 Spirits and it was excellent! The atmosphere was great and it looked like a wonderful place for a gathering or party. If we had wanted to have a cocktail, this would definitely have been the place to have one, but we were "behaving" ourselves. The handmade sourdough pasta that was being made on site looked divine, but I opted for the steamed clams in a vodka tomato sauce. It was excellent. My husband had the Cubano sandwich and said it was great. We would definitely seek this place out next time we come to Seattle.

Seattle Deliciousness

By Angela H |

First off, the Salmon Chowder was the best chowder I’ve ever had. Unbelievably amazing. Then secondly, everything else was just as good. We also ordered 2 pasta dishes. All of the dishes were nicely sized with ample portions of food. My boyfriend and I shared the Salmon chowder and we could not finish our pasta. The service was great. They were pretty busy so the service was just a tad slower than normal but nothing to complain about. And our server was so sweet and the overall experience so nice, we didn’t mind at all. If we are ever back in Seattle, we will return for sure!

Fantastic drinks, food and service

By Sherry L |

Went there for lunch. Ordered some small plates and a smoked Manhattan and the blood orange bourbon punch. Everything was amazing. Service was great. All of the staff are engaged and provide attentive service. Even though it was busy it was easy to carry on a conversation as it isn't a noisy place. Everything seems carefully thought out to provide an excellent dining experience. Next time we're in Seattle we will return.

Great vibe, very good food

By Mark B |

Excellent service. Antipasto board was great. Nice meats and cheeses, great peppers and sun roasted tomatoes accompanied by sour dough plain pizza triangles. King salmon pasta was superb. Cobb salad ok. Coffee weak - taken off bill.

Wonderful recommendation !

By cheznous3 |

While checking into the Inn at the Market hotel and asking about restaurants, Jay recommended Vons. It is not often that I am compelled to do a review starting with the kindness and personality of the host of a restaurant, but such is the case here - Mark was so welcoming and accommodating that after checking out the menu, I was determined to eat here. The food was excellent as was the service by Elle!!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Seattle based on quality, service and value. Great experience and great personnel!

Very good

By Amy A |

Everything was very good. I got the cheesy patty melt with fries and it has quite a bit of unique flavors, was enough for 2 people. Side note their pizzas say perfect for on but we all agree that it’s way to much for 1 person so plan to split or enjoy leftovers later.

Fun lively bar downtown Seattle

By Kathrin S |

Fun lively place to grab a drink with friends. We stopped in as we were waiting for a table at another restaurant and we're so glad we did. Friendly service and tasty bar drinks!

Eat here.

By Jeremy W |

The food here is so good you forget what you’re doing other than inhaling your meal. The staff is great and accommodating as well. There is outside seating so it’s not too overwhelming during the COVID days. Now is a great chance to check this place out while it’s not too crowded.

Really great meal in Seattle

By chyechka |

This place doesn’t stand out if you’re passing by. Looks like your run of the mill, roadside bar. We saw it on trip advisor and came here for our last meal in Seattle. Happy hour nonetheless. Mango margarita. Delicious. Cod tacos as a starter. Yummy. I was totally unsure about the “sourdough” pizza, but man, it was good. As was the avocado burger, and hand cut fries. Server was Phillip from Vancouver. Very efficient. Friendly. Quick. And really polite. Good bang for the buck.

Fun venue with great food

By marshallesq |

While we were in Seattle we ate at Vons twice. Really cool main dining room with a beautiful bar area. We ate one of our meals in their really pretty out door patio gazebo area. The service was very friendly and professional. The portions were generous. More importantly, the food was really great. Their sourdough pizza was athe best I ever had. Wish we had this restaurant in Philly.

You can't go wrong here for food or drinks... or both!

By rokkahulababy |

We found Vons based on a recommendation from the valet at our hotel and are so glad we did. We went for happy hour one night and ended up staying through dinner, and returned a few nights later with a large group. The bar selection is fantastic, there are endless bottles of spirits in the bar, if they don't have it then it might not exist. The champagne mango margarita is my new favorite cocktail, and it's on the happy hour menu as well! Over our two evenings there, my husband had an incredible burger, we shared a sourdough crust pizza and had to order the sourdough pasta with meatballs (which was so good we bought a bag of sourdough pasta to take home). The ambiance of the restaurant is fun, great for a date or a group and you can eat at the bar if the wait for the dining room is too long. There is also an outside dining area through the back of the restaurant, which is great for groups. I will say that our service at the bar was better than when we sat on the back patio, but anyone can have a bad night so I'll chalk it up to that. Vons will be a definite stop on our next trip to Seattle, it was great!

The pasta!

By MJS |

Wow. Great place. I got the pasta with pesto and goat cheese, it was worth it. My husband got the Cuban but wasn't as thrilled with it. The fries were great. Enjoyed this a lot!

Holy s'mores...

By Algebrain |

This place is "famous" for a lot, including the pacific northwest sourdough. If you like sourdough and want to taste it in a mac & cheese, you won't be disappointed. But the only thing I want to talk about here is the campfire rocky road pie. DO NOT FORGET TO LEAVE ROOM FOR THIS. Just check the picture - it'll tell you all you need to know. I'm salivating right now just thinking about it. Everything else was great too, but seriously, if I could have that pie shipped to me every day, I'd do it.

Finally

By Trail32732393711 |

After getting off a cruise where there was little to no bourbon, I decided to take my husband to Vons as a treat. He had the bourbon flight and then a glass of one of his favorite bourbons. He was very happy and loved looking through the book of all the bourbons they had to offer. While we were there we decided to have the whipped chevre and almond pesto sourdough pizza. That was a delicious bonus to our visit. Our waiter. David was patient, fun and entertaining. This was a great way to end our trip.

Amazing all around

By HooksandNeedles |

Food and service were great. Very loud and crowded on a Friday night but worth the wait and noise. Drink menu is outstanding, food was amazing, and the restaurant has a fantastic ambiance (decorations, lighting, etc.). I would be a regular if I lived in Seattle.

Good vibes

By yummyaddict111 |

Good vibes bar, their house bourbon is awesome and as their cocktails. One of the only one open on Sunday night, make a reservation for dinner they get very busy. We really enjoyed their burgers. Missing just a smiley service.

So delicious

By Eda Salman |

Omg I love this place. Inside is so cool and everything is so delicious. We preferred chicken pasta and sea strew and I will never forget this taste

Badly served

By Jose L |

We went to that restaurant and when we arrived it was full. So we sat at the bar while we waited. When ordering a beer, the waiter named Connor asked for my identity. I found it weird because I'm 42. I presented the Brazilian driver's license and to my surprise the waiter said it was not useful, he needed the passport. He asked me and my wife to get up from the bar and go wait for the table at the entrance. I have traveled to the USA for more than 20 years, twice a year and I have never been asked for a passport to buy drinks. Surely the bar waitress asked us to get up because our order would go to a table and the tray would stay with another waitress. And as we sat at the table, I asked the other waiter for the beer he brought me immediately without demanding any documents.

Great Spot for Drinks and Casual Dinner

By Lisa B |

We stopped in for an early dinner/drinks. Good service and delicious food and drinks. You have to try the pork confit fries!

Spectacular find

By T M |

So the general manager Seth saved us from sitting outside and breathing the smoke filled air. We came inside and started with the most delightful drink, the Lavender Sea. I highly recommend it. We decided to stay for dinner and it was a good decision. Traci our server made a recommendation to my husband to get the Seattle Seafood Stew with broccoli. It was amazing. I had the King Salmon & avocado hamburger. What a fantastic combination of flavors. We topped off or dinner with the Campfire Rocky Road Pie. This is a must if you are visiting Seattle!

Vons 1000 Spirits

By BBF |

Great Food , Great Drinks & Great Service, One of the few restaurants open late . Even when busy , it didn’t take long to be seated or to be served . I definitely recommend this place for a great meal. Excellent 5 STARS .

We love the food at this place!!!

We love the food at this place!!! The bartenders are really fun and great mixologist. Especially Chis M, Lupe and Elizabeth!!

Great place for food and drinks

By margaret c |

We had drinks at Vons several times and had lunch one day. It was a good find for us! The bar is really fun and the bartenders are great. Very attentive and friendly. The flatbread pizza was delicious.

Fabulous Food and Service!

By KathyM |

Our waiter, Chris was wonderful! Such a professional. Service was the best. Our food was delicious, and Chris gave us great suggestions.

Good restaurant, nice selection of food.

By Victor L |

We chose this restaurant based on reviews on trip advisor. We were a family of 8 and thought the experience dining here was good. We ordered burgers and I ordered the beer battered Alaskan Cod tacos. The food was good overall. I tried the fries and really liked them. Our waiter was amazing. He got all of our orders right and was amazingly quick at everything. I wish we could have tried more items but since we were visiting Seattle, we had nowhere to take left overs.

Disappointed

By Design Display ... M |

Friendly staff and good service on a Friday afternoon, but I must say that was the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. The cod was greasy and the fries were soggy, far too salty. Very disappointing considering the reputation (and the prices).

Seattle after 9pm - looking for food.

By Carrie T |

We are visiting Seattle and came for lunch and then came back for a late supper. Luke was a great server, available and helpful.

Buzzing atmosphere

By GKTravellers |

We arrived in time without a reservation for Happy Hour (3-6pm). The place was almost full and the atmosphere loud and buzzing. Our server quickly took our drinks order with house wine at a Happy Hour price of $8 for a large glass. My 4 cheese patty melt with fries ($21) was both tasty and filling. The starter of pork confit and fries ($10) was sufficiently generous that my wife failed to finish. We shared a delicious bourbon vanilla ice cream ($6) to finish.

Try their sourdough pasta!

By Danielle P |

We LOVED this place! They have delicious drinks and drink specials announced on the loud speaker every so often. They make their own homemade SOURDOUGH pasta and it was so amazing ! You can also buy bags of it to go! They have a back sun deck if you wish to sit outside. The staff was extremely friendly and the owner stood and chatted with us about our trip for some time! We had a great experience and great food !

Excellent Pizza

By JKT |

We liked this place so much that we ate there twice in the 3 days we were in Seattle. The salad and pizza are to die for. We wanted to try the house made pasta but could not forego having the pizza a second time. Excellent customer service. This place does get busy.

Excellent eatery and bar

By angela914 |

Absolutely fabulous food and choice of drinks. Lovely atmosphere and excellent staff. Really loved the food, and lots of choice of spirits if your a spirit drinker

Great dinner

By DMW |

Really tasty pasta dishes. Got the vegan pasta (added chicken though - I’m not vegan), and it was very good. Also had the broccoli appetizer. Service was great. Would definitely return. Did not have to wait for a table, even though we arrived 645pm on Saturday

Exceptional service will bring us back

By bluedelta |

We have gone to Vons off and on over the years. I will say the last few years the food has really improved and it has become a consistently reliable place for us for lunch/dinner. What made it exceptional last night was the service. David was our server and he impressed us at every turn, even though it was a busy night. He greeted us with a smile, made great recommendations (especially the Hucklberry drink), checked in on us regularly without being obtrusive and timed our meal perfectly so we didn't end up with a pile of food on our small table and could pace our meal. Just a very impressive and enjoyable experience.

Great pub grub and friendly service

By jimdawn2019 |

Ok, we should have ordered the sourdough pizza or pasta. Next time for sure. What we did order was very good: Caesar salad and a salmon topped salad. As well, one of us had a pulled pork sandwich and one of us ordered a burger and fries. Really good “pub grub.” Overall we were very pleased with the friendly service, the good food and the reasonable prices. Thanks!

Really good!

By Cydney T |

I had dinner there with 2 friends. The food was fresh and the portion sizes were large. Go hungry and or be prepared to take home left overs. I never had sourdough pasta before and it was really tasty! Great menu options. I wish I had tried a pizza too. The service was great too. I would return and recommend to others.

Accommodating!

By steven j |

The food was fantastic! and very welcoming and accommodating staff. My server went above and beyond to attend my needs. I suffer from a dash of cerebral palsy and she went through the effort of hand-feeding me and wiping me down at times. Big thanks to Rebecca!.

Delicious Burger

By Carrie D. |

We had a great dinner at Vons on the recommendation of one of the Starbucks staffers! My burger was cooked to order and so delicious—it was huge though! The fries were fresh and well-seasoned. The homemade sourdough pasta was also delicious. The server was really friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our meal and would recommend to others visiting Seattle!

Must try when in Seattle

By Anthony |

Von’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Seattle and try to make it a point to visit while in town. We usually will order a couple of items and share them family style with our group. Every-time we have come been here there is a wait but it is definitely worth it. If you have a Washington ID you receive a 25% discount Monday - Friday between 11-2. Our normal go to order is to start with the burrata which comes with a baguette on a bed of pesto. We usually order extra pesto because it’s so good! The burrata is so fresh and creamy. The sourdough is some of the best I’ve ever had. This time we added an order of crispy bang bang chicken. That might be my new favorite item. The chicken was crispy and tender with the sauce being delicious. It was on a bed of carrots which add a nice crunch. After the appetizers we ordered a lil’ pep and Tellicherry chicken and Gouda pasta. The sourdough pizza crust is amazing! It’s so crispy but fluffy with great crunch. The pasta is bursting with flavor and cheesiness. We want to try new things as the burgers and sandwiches look amazing but just can’t get pasted not ordering our favorites. Vons is a much try while in seattle.

The best food and service!

By photo1257 |

We had the most wonderful dinner this evening after arriving earlier today from the Midwest. David, our waiter was professional, fun, and knowledgable. The food was wonderful and david was the best! Highly recommend.

Amazing homemade sourdough pasta and open late!

By AmberAbbotsford |

This local gem is a must visit if you're in Seattle! Everything is made from scratch even the ketchup! They are famous for their homemade sourdough pasta. It was delicious. Our party tried 3 different styles of pasta and they were all outstanding. The bar is really cool with over 1000 bottles of spirts lined up. It's also one of the very few restaurants in the area that is open till 12am that serves a full menu for food and drinks.

Excellent bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Recommend.

By helbax |

Vons was recommended to us by the valet chap at our hotel. Fantastic! Vons prides itself on its huge selection of spirits. As we visited late afternoon, we stuck to beer. Several on tap including the Holy Mountain white beer which was tasty. We didn't eat as going for dinner later. Excellent, attentive bar staff. Vons has a lovely vibe & worth a visit.

Happy Hour

Good Pasta

We all had different plates of pasta. I had never had sourdough pasta and it was suttle. Salsas very creamy with rich taste. I need to go back and try the burgers. Great fast and friendly service

What a great place!

By Maria E |

We did pop in without reservations, but they were lucky to score seats at the bar. Glad we stopped in before a Mariners game for one of the drinks (Leather Bound) I've ever had. We also ate the amazing pork confit fries. GET THOSE!

Cocktails + Sourdough

By Marina S |

The elements that are made in house are what makes this place so great! There is a very impressive selection of Vons liquors and cocktails to fit anyone’s taste. There is also wine and beer available. There is bar seating and multiple dining rooms so they can accommodate individuals or larger parties and it doesn’t get too noisy or feel cramped. My favorite part of Vons is the pasta - so delicious!! The sourdough pasta is made in house and the texture is unreal! Highly recommend giving it a try.

Dinner and drinks

By ericjon B |

We stopped by here being from Seattle area never trying this spot out. It was good for what it was nothing really was knock your socks off good. But also nothing was bad either. We enjoyed the “damn good wings” some charcuterie, and olives. The pizza was balanced well and I partook in a liquor flight which their tequila was decent not out had good flavor and the vodka was smooth but nothing to an ordinary paler to tell the difference. Parking was a nightmare recommended if on foot.

Disappointed

By Karin V |

Was so excited to eat here. One of my son's lives in Seattle and has eaten here and loves it. Called ahead because my other son who was with us has Celiac's and wanted to make sure he could eat there. Was told they had a gluten free menu. Get seated takes a bit for the waiter to arrive. We order drinks and ask about the gluten free options to which he seemed shocked we would be there if needed to eat gluten free. He said really only the burger. I asked could you possibly do a chicken sandwich and he wasn't quite sure. Not a I will find out for you, nothing. I went up to the hostess desk and asked about a gluten free menu and they gave me a menu, now it wasn't specifically gluten free, but an allergy menu which was better than what our server had provided. Really not many choices for someone with Celiac's, but at least you could see what they had. Not sure why he didn't provide this menu, but after our drinks finally arrived and we ordered he was non existent. Once our food arrived he never came back to see if anyone needed another drink or needed more water. I had a lemonade and wanted another and could not get his attention. I finally had to ask the hostess who was so nice and said she would get us more water and a lemonade. She did bring the water, but not the lemonade I guess because they charge you for a refill on lemonade she couldn't just get it for me. She brought the waiter to the table eventually and I asked him for another lemonade. Another 15 minutes went by and still no lemonade. I got up to use the restroom and saw him and asked him about the lemonade. It finally came out when we were ready to leave. So I paid for another lemonade that I couldn't even drink. I have to say the food was delicious, but the service was so bad, I am not sure I could ever go back when I am in town next. For what we paid one would think the service would be better.

First supper in Seattle

By Shandy V |

We stayed near Pikes Market at the Charter Hilton and in desperately looking for a place who would seat our party of 7 came across Vons. Their hot wings - the BEST I've ever had by far. Their margaritas and other drinks were amazing. Our friend loved the Skinny Bitch drink, festive and fun. Totally video worthy. We would go again in a heart beat!

Get the meatballs!

By SER23 |

We stopped in here for a late dinner, and were seated right away. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, and offered helpful suggestions. We were a bit disappointed when we were informed that they were out of bread, eliminating sandwich options from their menu. We ended up getting the meatball appetizer (which was fabulous), and then splitting the rigatoni with pink sauce, lemon ricotta, and crispy pancetta entree. Overall, a great meal! But, missed out on the sourdough bread that they are sort of known for.
