I was visiting family in the Seattle area and we went for a nice long bike ride along the Burke Gilman trail from Bothell. Once we got to a place that I was pretty tired and ready for a meal, my cousin suggested "this little Greek place under I-5." I'll admit I was a little nervous, until he said it had been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Then I was intrigued. Our server was friendly and helpful, the food was plentiful and just carb-y enough to fuel the last half of our bike ride. I'm not sure it would be the same to arrive by car, and after seeing the parking lot, I'm not convinced I'd have tried! Thank goodness for locals!

Fast, greasy breakfasts

Before TV Food network, Voula's Offshore Cafe was and remains my preferred Breakfast spot in Seattle. I typically get the Greek Hobo. Onions, Mushrooms (which I hold), Greek Sausage, Hashbrowns, Eggs all mixed together covered with Feta Cheese. Try it with the house hot sauce. So good. They have fresh OJ, coffee is a little weak for Seattle Standards but I look past that. Other eats are good to like the french toast and pancakes. There is always some creative special with a clever name. Just like the vibe (and food) of this family run joint.

Went here based on Diners drive ins and dives show. Cute little hole in the wall tucked under the freeway. We shared the South Ballard (I believe was the name) with cream cheese. It was amazing. Hard to finish. Definitely will be going back.

The fam had a late breakfast here. Kid #1 had Gooey French toast & Killer thick slab bacon. Hubs had Greek scramble with feta. Son #2 got biscuits and gravy. His fave. And my delish eggs Benedict with smoked pork & chipotle hollandaise sauce. It's listed as a Guy Fieri fave. So if your a DDD fan, you'll love this place.

Came here because we saw it on Triple D! We split the hobo and glad we did. It was huge. We ordered a side of bacon which was very very good. The hobo was very filling and good. Great way to start a morning.

The Greek Hobo is delicious! The Greek sausage & feta cheese make this a wonderful tasty dish with a lil spice. Yum!!

Great local breakfast joint that we visit regularly. The place always has lines waiting for tables but it moves quickly as does the service. The food is delicious. I recommend Voula's Big One or Freagy Greegy, both of which have delicious greek sausage. I saw many order the PIÑATA BENIDICT made with smoked pork, poached eggs on top of english muffin smothered in chipotle hollandaise that looked so good. Will certainly give this a try next time if I can pull myself away from the greek sausage.

Like lots of folks, my wife and I found this place through Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. So, what are they famous for? Smoking their own Alaskan King salmon. Great! My wife LOVES smoked salmon. So we drove over from Bellevue for breakfast so she could get some smoked Alaskan King salmon. Alas, it was practically bait and switch. The only dish that even had ANY smoked salmon in it was the "Smokey the Salmon" shown on the TV show, which is a scramble with many ingredients including smoked salmon all chipped up in the mix. Otherwise, not a single other dish with smoked salmon - and certainly no entree that featured slices of smoked Alaskan King salmon. Did the food taste good? Yeah - I really enjoyed their smoked pork "Pinata Benedict." But is it worth a special trip? Not if you're looking for some fresh-made smoked Alaskan King salmon in anything other than a scramble.

In town to visit my son stationed in the area for the US Army and heard about Voula's from TV's Food Network. Hard to find but well worth the extra effort. We sat at the counter and had a great view of the show being put on by the cooks. All the food looked great. Huge portions. Great service. When our meal arrived it was delicious. One meal would be enough to share. Consider that if you are a light eater. But if you are a light eater you might not want stop in here lol... Had the Greek Hobo breakfast. But the whole menu looked great. Save room for an incredible slice of homemade pie. We shared the blueberry, my son's favorite. We were not disappointed! Enjoy.

We saw this restaurant on an episode of Guy’s Diners, Drive-in’s and dives. So we wanted to check it out. The greeter was very rude and placed us at a wet table that we had to wipe it dry. So it started off bad but the server was great and very friendly. We ordered Chinese Pancakes , meatloaf and a Denver Omelette. The generous large portions are very filling. However the seasoning or should I say lack of on the Chinese Pancake was very disappointing however the meatloaf was delicious and seasoned very well. The Denver omelette was seasoned to perfection and cooked very well. Hopefully the gentleman greeting at the door learns better customer service skills for greeting customers at the door. Also the owner was walking around the front area and all the tables around us were wondering and so were we. I knew who she was because I’ve seen her on the show but would’ve been nice for her to say something to the table verses just walk by and no word to any of the tables out front. Meatloaf is so good should be an entree instead of a sandwich.

My husband saw the DDD episode that featured Voula’s, and breakfast being his favorite meal we have to go when we go to Seattle. This was our second visit, and I missed giving it an excellent review then. We had the same server that we had 6ish months ago, so it leads me to believe she is the owner or the owners daughter. This lady knows what great service is!!! My husband had the egg breakfast, and I had the Freagy Greegy omelet, the portions were more than plentiful, and our breakfast was more like a brunch as it carried us through lunch. The potatoes are grated by hand, they use real butter on the toast, and the eggs and omelet looked like they belong in a magazine. They do not cut corners on their ingredients by using mass produced items so expect to pay a little more, but know you are getting quality. My pet peeve is eggs that have “lacy edges”, browned spots, or are not cooked to temperature. If breakfast is important to you, this is your place.

Saw this on Diner's, Drive Ins & Dives, and thought we'd check it out during visit to Seattle. Very friendlly folks, good breakfast, close to Univ. of Washington. Worth a visit if you are in that neighborhood or close by.

This is the type of restaurant I save the top rating for. Great food of a really special nature and fabulous service I loved my Greek Hobo!

We were looking for a breakfast place and searched finding Voulas. It was amazing hot, fresh, food, nice diner style ambiance, and hosted great service! We will go there again, next time in Seattle

Voila‘s is an informal, family/diner-style restaurant that offers terrific food in a comfortable space with very friendly service. This is not a funky, hipster place. Expect mainstream food in a traditional diner/family restaurant that is really well done. I would definitely return and recommend Viola’s (and I especially recommend the perfectly golden brown hash brown potatoes.)

Plan on a wait to get in on weekends. It has always been a busy place on weekends but once they were on "Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins" it got a lot busier. Counter seating available if you are on your own or a couple. I'm not a hashbrown person but LOVE Niko & Brian's hashbrowns and omelette's are very, very worth the wait. I hear their lunches are good too but I am stuck on breakfast there! Go to Voula's and then go kayaking, a fantastic way to spend a day.

Such a great experience at Voulas where the service and food are both outstanding! Super crazy hole in the wall right by the UW campus made for an amazing experience!

You cannot beat Voula's Offshore Cafe for breakfast. I've been there for breakfast most every time I'm in Seattle, and that's been over a 20 year stretch. It's a diner style place with fantastic food near the base of the University Bridge. It's worth the search, the Greek Sausages and eggs are delivered on top of a large plate totally covered with delicious hash browns. If you like "Hot Sauce", Voula makes his own, and it is hot! Mike had the Hobo breakfast, more than he could eat. Two bountiful breakfasts, coffees, and superb service for less than $30 for two. Voula's has it all. Set at the counter and watch the action. See you next trip.

I eat here frequently, I see the visitors to Seattle come here and take their pictures and go away with that huge smile. This is a great place to go and then visit U of W or the Gov't Lock's which are 2 of the top things to see in Seattle. PS I admit I am predjudiced towards this place but remember my public endorsement may make it hard for me to find a table for my self.

Yum. Great food, diner atmosphere. Loved it. Plates are HUGE. Had the Hobo. Wonderful. Featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." It's like you step back in time, to a diner of yesteryear. Great service. All ages. Sit in back room for quieter atmosphere. Sit up in front and watch the action of the grill.

Huge breakfast plates. We ordered the Hobo and a Voula's Big One. Funky atmosphere with cool murals. We sat near lots of regular customers. That is always a good sign when "regulars" are eating there and not just tourists.

Took a while to get our order taken but that's because so many people are here enjoying great food. This is my fifth time here and the food is always great and the staff is always nice. I recommend this place for sure.

Visited here while on a family vacation. The piñata Benedict and egg/ham scramble were delicious and big portions. The blueberry pancakes were very big and full of blueberries, but if you are a pancake lover I’d maybe steer clear of these. Kind of rubbery like a microwave pancake. The amount of blueberries did help to mask that! All in all a great meal and we highly recommend. Don’t expect ambiance...but then who would for a diner?!!

I have worked down the street from Voula's for years and I have never had a bad meal there. They are always packed at lunch time which tells me that others feel the same. Good specials and great breakfasts along with your typical diner lunch fare make this a great place to go.

Breakfast and portions 5 stars. You could share and will have plenty but don't ! Too many yummy things to choose from. Homemade sausages, they were smoking salmon in the back when we arrived. Big delicate biscuits. We cleaned our plates becuz it was so good and then waddled out!

Go here and go hungry! Lots of love goes into the staple just across the university bridge and down under as you're going to Ivars. Great place to bring family and friends for brunch or breakfast

The oddinator omelette was the best omelette is the best I have ever had. Smoked pulled pork was amazing. Great smoke flavor. Mushrooms and green onions were a nice crunch and then swiss cheese was creamy. Literally amazing. I would eat here weekly if I lived in Seattle.

We are triple D addicts. So, needless to say, we saw Voula's featured on the show. On our trip to Seattle, we decided to give it a try. As usual with Guy Fieri's reviews, it was excellent. Our server was so happy we came all the way from the east coast and tried them out and was our first of many friendly experiences while we were there. I had their greek omelet and my husband had the salmon scramble. I can't imagine ANYTHING on the menu is bad. It is mouth watering just thinking about it as I write this review. Keep doing it Voula's!!!

Not much to say other than this spot is a great diner, kinda crazy to get to (have to get through the university traffic) and the portions are huge! Service was what is expected from a diner, food came out quick and was tasty. I had the poached eggs on top of pork and hash browns and my boyfriend had the salmon scramble. Yummy!

While visiting Seattle, my friend and I stopped in Voula’s for breakfast, and it was a real treat! We were sat at a table overlooking the kitchen area and it was quite something to see as they are quite busy and the portions are huge!! Most importantly, it was very delicious. Definitely worth a stop.

We've been here for lunch befor and was impressed! NOT disappointed this time either. With the breakfasts we saw being pumped out of the kitchen we can't wait to go back and try THEM next!! Great, friendly service...clean establishment...suggest 11ish as a good time to go..fills up fast!

Finally made it to Voula's after working in the U district for all these years. I ordered the Chinese pancake, which is a large, plate-sized pancake with a fried egg cooked in the middle and shaved ham cooked into the top of the batter. It's a great conversation piece, flavors are just okay. Voula's is too clean to be called a "dive", thank goodness, but it does have that true diner feel with the open grill right in front of the breakfast counter. I didn't care for the coffee and I suspect the aftertaste of it may have effected my perception of the rest of my food. I'm still looking for a Maltby Cafe experience that's closer to home. In the meantime, I'll head back to Black Bear when I want gutbusting portions of tasty diner-style breakfast food.

This is a classic diner type place in the North Lake Union area of Seattle. Close to the U District. It was a Sunday, and they were busy - a long line for tables. But I was solo and there was one spot at the counter. Classic breakfast menu, with some specials. I opted for the Pinata Benedict. Eggs Benedict except they use a mound of flat-grilled sliced smoked pork in lieu of Canadian Bacon, and some kind of Chipotle sauce that was billed as Hollandaise (but it probably had some cheese and other stuff in it, too). My counter seat gave me a perfect view of the cooking line. These guys are very methodical about how they execute a dish, and worked well as a team. Like they have ESP or something. As a foodie, I am fascinated watching other cooks work. Everything I watched them make was "real". Nothing pre-heated or out of a can. Except the Chipotle sauce came out of a pot and was pre-blended and cooked (ergo, one reason it was not true Hollandaise, but that's OK). It does take a while to get your order, so I was thankful to be able to watch the activity. The egg, sauce, meat and muffin portion of the dish was served in a long bowl along side an order of their superb grilled hashbrowns. The hashbrowns are shredded potato, flat grilled to a crunchy golden brown. Yummy. However, over coating with ketchup takes away the crunch. Recommend ketchup on the side...anyway.... The eggs were perfect with runny yolks. It was nice that this part of the dish was in a bowl because when I sliced the yolks open, it all combines with the sauce making it extra yummy. It was de-lish. But it didn't stop there. Somehow they must grill their English Muffins in butter or something, because they are nice and crunchy on the top grilled part, and soft on the underside. Crunchy even after being soaked in the sauce and egg yolk mixture. A+. The pork was a nice change and completed the dish. While here, as alluded to earlier, I observed many dishes being cooked and "assembled". Portions are large. You won't go away hungry. And I didn't see anyone unhappy. Plus, a small OJ is only $1.

Come with an appetite--portions are big (especially of hash browns). Tastes like home-made. Great Breakfast! The staff is great fun--they obviously enjoy working there. Reasonably priced.

An honest diner, with a few special touches, like their own smoked meats. Good service.

A diner, noted for good food and "hobos". Clean, fast, not fancy. Near UW. Would eat there again. Parking good. Prices good.

Found this café online when looking for a new spot to have a good Seattle breakfast. First, a definition: "offshore" means "at sea some distance from the shore." Yet, this café is across the street from buildings that are at the shoreline of Lake Union. That aside, the moment we entered we were told to seat ourselves, enjoyed the scenic ship canal wall mural and noticed how clean the café was, including the stainless kitchen. Server Michelle had personality. We ordered blueberry pancakes, orange juice and French toast with a side of two scrambled eggs. All sounded good in the menu but when they quickly arrived they looked outstanding, huge and were utterly delicious. The Greek owners properly chose blue and white paint. Plenty of parking and very reasonable prices. Even a large TV to see the start of the Seahawks game. Voula's is "right on."

Though tricky to find, this restaurant will not disappoint. Had the biscuits and gravy and they were excellent. Waitress was very attentive and welcoming. A must visit for breakfast or lunch.

One of our hosts in Seattle recommended Voula's for breakfast. Great recommendation! It's a casual diner - open seating, formica tables, and a table of old guys telling lies in the corner. The Pinata Benedict (which our host recommended) was wonderful - eggs benedict with smoked pork on top. My colleague had the Smokey the Salmon, eggs scrambled with smoked salmon - which was also very good. Both were served with hashbrowns. Servings are huge.

I drive across town for brunch here. The omelettes are wonderful with free-range eggs cooked to resemble a crepe. Great hash browns, but you can substitute fruit and you a get a very nice cup of mixed fresh fruit. Pies baked in house. Lunch special on weekdays often highly worthwhile. Owned by a Greek family and dishes with a touch of Greek are always great. Willing to modify dishes to your taste or needs. For instance: substitute Feta for fattier cheeses usually results in a taste experience you will enjoy. This is Seattle's best diner says a well-known national food show. I agree.

i cannot fault the food at all here. the piniata benedict was awesome! the hobo (w/o onions) was to die for. the rest of the menu looked good and some pancakes served next to us were huge. the only problem is that we almost died of hunger waiting for our food. we arrived at the restaurant and were seated at 9:40. our order was taken at 10:20. our food arrived at 10:45. we were a larger party all together, but we were seated at separate tables, and there was a separate check for each table. it was a little discouraging to see other tables around us, who had arrived after us, have their orders taken and food delivered while we waited. don't know what the logic was here, but if the wait is always like this…….well……… all in all, the food quality was great, but the wait time is not something to be proud of.

Busy and friendly place ! Great to come for weekend brunch . Choices of carbs and eggs and fillings . Good menu. Portions are huge . Value for money. ! The clam chowder is really good 👍🏼 Love the bacon too 👍🏼

Great option for breakfast anytime. Be careful of where you park out front, there is a tricky couple of spaces. Eggs, pancakes and sandwiches all were delicious and most definitely fresh ingredients.

Best Brunch I have head in a while. I saw this restaurant on Triple D with Guy Fieri over 4 years ago and wrote down the info on my phone. I was so excited to come try it out and it did not disappoint. When I think of the pacific northwest I think of salmon and Voula's knows how to smoke salmon. I imagine the other dishes are great as well but all 4 of us ordered the salmon scramble because it sounded so good. If you are around the University of Washington this is a nice walk from there.

Stopped in this morning on our way out of town. Large plates of food. Blueberry pancakes were awesome!

What a great find! My son is a student at U-Dub, and we wanted to go out to breakfast after dropping him off for the quarter. Voulas was close enough for him to walk from the dorms, and not far from our hotel. It's just off the waterfront. The atmosphere is diner-style, with quirky artwork on the walls. The staff, especially our waitress, are friendly and welcoming. They made us feel like regulars. I had the Pinata Benedict, which was slightly spicy and delicious. All our meals were HUGE! None of us could finish. And the coffee just kept getting refilled and refilled. This is EXACTLY what we wanted in a breakfast joint. We will keep coming back!

I visited Voula's during a business trip to UW and sat at the counter for a wonderful breakfast. The service was wonderful and the cook super friendly...it's a real family feel here and the entire restaurant joined in singing happy birthday during my visit. Every plate of food I watched pass by looked better than the next...from hearty biscuits and gravy to wonderful scrambles filled with fresh eggs, veggies, meat, hashbrowns, and cheese. I went for the Piñata Benedict...a decadent dose of English muffins, house smoked pulled pork, eggs, and chipotle hollandaise. Let's just say that when the egg yolk hit the smoky pork and warm chipotle...mmmmm. I'm betting the pork would be amazing on a sandwich as well! Coming off Roosevelt, this restaurant is a trick to find so I would suggest heading down 7th instead for a wonderful, home style breakfast!

We went there expecting greatness. The prcies were high and the wait was long. My eggs were okay, but there was a 1 cm chunk of something very hot in my hashbrowns that burned my mouth to the point of discomfort. My children asked if I was okay it was so hot. The guacamole was not good. It tasted like something from a carton at Safeway. My kids liked the biscuits and gravy, but we would not go back at that price.

First time here though I have driven by hundreds of times over the years. I was in the mood for an omelette and hash browns and this place did not disappoint. Their hash browns were I think the best I have ever had as they use a dedicated grill just for the hash browns and made them super crisp on one side and lightly browned on the other so that the middle stayed a bit soft. The omelette was also very good and the service was very friendly and efficient. Going back for sure.

My boyfriend and I first saw this restaurant on the show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, and couldn't wait to try it while visiting Seattle!! Voula's is so well run and organized!! We first went there on a Saturday morning and it was very busy! That being said, there are many benches outside for patrons to sit and wait to be seated in the restaurant, a signup sheet on the door if there is a lineup, and fresh coffee for customers to sip on while waiting! We only waited about ten minutes and it was definitey worth the short wait! The food and service was excellent!!! It was so good that we went back a second time before our Seattle trip was over!!! We've ordered the Pinata Benedict, the Hobo, the Naked Hobo, and the buttermilk pancakes!! All were extremely delicious! The portions are quite large though, so you will likely need a to-go box for whatever you can't finish (makes for great leftovers)! The staff and owners are awesome!! From what I could see and what I've heard from locals, is that the staff at Voula's get to know all of their regulars! Even if you aren't a regular, the service is exceptional. Our waitress even remembered us the second time we went back! Overall, great value for dollar, excellent food and exceptional service!!!!!

Wow, what an amazing breakfast! I had Billy’s Biscuits. Two huge homemade biscuits on a plate of crispy hash browns, covered in sausage gravy with 2 perfectly fried eggs on top! Served by a very polite and professional server! This was a great breakfast, in my top 5 all-time! I made a special trip here! Well worth it! Can’t wait to go back again!

Dropping our freshman off at school, I did my research for our visit. Between Trip Advisor, Yelp and DDD, this made the list. HUGE portions. We all got something different - a Hobo, a Freagy Greeky and chocolate chip pancakes. Everyone ate about half of their meal. Can't wait to take my son back there when I visit next and get him a great tasty breakfast. Our waitress was friendly and attentive!

Very tasty and huge platters of eggs, hash browns , toast and smoked pork. Wifey had the Greek Hobo. Daughter had the chipotle eggs Benedict and I selected the El diablo. Eggs were cooked perfect. Hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Bread was delicious. Do not worry nothing was spicy hot. Everything was fresh made. A little pricey but what isn’t in Seattle. We three could of split one meal. A very nice small Greek diner.

We ate here today before heading up to Vancouver and everyone enjoyed their meals. The plate were overflowing with food and we were satisfied on our drive north. The food was delish, the coffee plentiful and our waitress (never caught her name but she had tattoos) was super friendly and helpful. If we ever find ourselves in Seattle again this is definitely a stop we will make.

The most delicious breakfast! Started our first day in Seattle early and read great reviews of Voula's. We had to try it! We were not disappointed! Delicious salmon! Perfect hash browns! Huge portions so you will not go away hungry! No wait time and seated right at the counter so we could watch them cooking! Very comfortable and everyone is so friendly! If ever in Seattle you must find this place and experience the food! Loved it!

Get here early; the crowds build fast. Excellent breakfast joint. I recommend the Greek Hobo with homemade hot sauce.

Saw on Diner's Drivein's and Dives and glad we drove here for breakfast. We arrived before they opened, and when we saw other people walking in we entered. They have so many interesting choices, it is hard to pick just one. Our second trip and we will return next year for a breakfast second to none.

Delighted to find this gem and looking forward to experiencing more items on the menu! 2 day we had sands and were delighted with our choices... The bread was toasted and excellent flavor! French Fries were GREAT! Service was good, Ice tea a hit....we WILL be back!!

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast in Seattle. Voula knows what she is doing in this little diner! Totally worth the wait and there usually is one. I used to come here every Saturday morning when I lived in Seattle, now I make it a point to come for a least one breakfast when I am in town visiting. Miss this place.

We went to Voula's on our way to Oregon after watching it on DDD. Went on a weekday morning so was not very busy. The coffee was totally tasteless as if it was just warm water. I asked for another cup but that was the same too. Order a sausage hash, the food was good with generous portions. But nothing extra ordinary just regular diner food. Wife ordered pancakes, they were just about average. Not really fluffy same as you could make at home with the mix in batter. Wont be going out of my way to go here but if in the neighborhood may stop by but not having any coffee.

We love to try the diners, drive-ins and dives that Guy Fieri has been to. This is a quaint little place. We had lunch which was average but the breakfast coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled amazing! I will be back to try Breakfast 😁

Great place for a filling breakfast. Omelettes are great and they do not skimp on the goodies in the omelette. My daughter is a U-Dub Grad Student and every time I go visit, Voula's is a must. Blueberry pancakes had the most berries I have ever seen.

Okay, now we're talking. Huge omelettes, big portions, great spuds. This is down home cooking. Best omelette my husband ever had: oddinator.

As others have mentioned we are a fan of trying places that we have seen on DDD. We went a bit out of our way to find this place and are we ever glad that we did. Service was friendly and they took time out of their busy schedule to talk to us "other coasters". We ordered the Hobo and the Billy Biscuits. They were fantastic and so mush food that we took it home and had it the next morning. I would highly recommend bringing the crew here!

Came here based upon the Trip Advisor reviews and was a little disappointed. My whole family thought it was just ok and we literally spend less sometimes when we go to a good steakhouse. I will say that there service was good and their chipotle hollandaise was really good. But I wouldn't go here again.

We went here for lunch and experienced great service and wonderful food in the best tradition of an American diner. I had the turkey/bacon club with fries. It was a very good sandwich. My wife had a turkey sandwich and it was good too. My daughter had one of the "hobo" dishes on the menu (scrambled eggs with various added ingredients.) It was so large that she took half of it home to her husband and he enjoyed it for breakfast the next day. As should be the case with a diner, they also offer bottomless cups of coffee.

My husband and 18 year old son made a stop at Voula's on their way to a Sunday morning baseball game at nearby Magneson Park and were very pleased with their decision to eat here! Casual and relaxed atmosphere in a quiet business/industrial area almost under the northeast side of the I-5 ship canal bridge. For a Sunday morning they only waited a few minutes to be seated and once they were, they were promptly waited on and served. In and out under an hour. Our family will certainly eat here again when we're back in the University of Washington area!

This is a lovely place. Lots of genuine memorabilia on the walls. Extensive menu. Great food, prepared really well, fast polite service. I'd eat here again - I'd make it my regular place in the area. Not cheap, but you get great quality at the price.

I chose Voula's after seeing a clip from Food Network. The service was friendly, the prices were moderate, and the food tasted good but not as outstanding as expected. The chipolte Benedict was smoky, but dry and was lacking in flavor. Lots of food for the money, although breakfast items are a little over priced.

Voula's is an enjoyable "dive." Just plain cooking with generous portions served with care. I love sitting at the counter to watch the cooks in action. Mikos is a hoot! It is not gourmet -- but come on -- this is eggs, toast and hashbrowns. They use quality ingredients and the hashbrowns are some of the best in Seattle.

What looks almost like a dive from the outside explodes with good food on the inside. The service is great for as busy as they always seem to be. It is a 20-minute drive (or more) from Bellevue but we always like to go there at least once during our visits to Bellevue. You will most likely leave there both happy and full.

First timer but found using gps. Both selections great. Pinata Benedict with shaved pork and Chipotle hollandaise. Very large. Smoked king salmon scramble.

A friend and I just visited Voula's for the first time, as we saw it on the food network show "Diner's, Drive-in's, & Dives". We just walked in and sat at the counter. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They kept making sure we were enjoying our meal. The food was inexpensive and there's a lot of it. We could only eat half of what was on our plates. We would definitely go back.

We went to a couple of restaurants in Seattle based on recommendations of the tv program, "Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives." Voula's was one of these. Off the beaten path, it's not somewhere that tourists would normally know about. Although a little hard to find, when we did, we were glad we persevered. Unfortunately, Voula herself wasn't there when we visited but we were still given friendly, quick service and huge, delicious meals.

Omelets and hashbrowns of monumental portions. Both were delicious tasting. You also get toast/English muffin with the omelet. Service was super attentive and friendly. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

Service- Our server was quick to the table, for the refills, and to take our orders. She turned the dreary, dark winter morning into the warm, homey feel that we travellers needed. Food- I think we could have gotten by with 1 Hobo order to feed the three of us! The hobo and omelette was that big. What's a hobo? I cannot describe the flavor but it is made up of their great hashbrowns, mushrooms, eggs, cheese and country sausage....all tossed together into jumble heaven! I got about 1/3 of the way on that heaping mound. Ate the rest for a late lunch!! Coffee was just ok, nothing special. Want to go back and try that special benedict with the dungeoness crab next.

Saw this restaurant on DDD, and it's our place for breakfast whenever we come to Seattle. Arrived and seated quickly. My wife loves their version of Eggs Benedict, and I had the chicken fried steak. Very generous portions, and the food is served warm. Very tasty. Sad we can only get up to Seattle a couple of time a year.

there are several locations for these family owned restraunts i like this one because not many people think about it and theres not a waiting line. the food is all good but the hot corned beef sandwiches are the best i have ever tasted..

My daughter and I really enjoyed our Sunday morning breakfast at Voula's. I had a great omelette over a pile of hash browns. Lots of food and very filling. I especially like the atmosphere. It seems so much more real than so many other "brunch" places. And the wait to get in was not bad. The waitress was very nice and attentive, in spite of how busy it was. I'll be back!

Great breakfast lunch place close to the University of Washington and to the boating areas on the north side of Portage Bay. Check the hours before going, they close at 2:00 (weekend) or 3:00 (weekday) in the afternoon. We had three dishes on our last visit; french toast, vegetable omelette, and blueberry pancakes. The french toast was marvelous, more of an egg-custard pie held together with some bread and nearly perfectly cooked. You get way more egg and way less bread than typical. The omelette was well-cooked and held plenty of vegetables and cheese - very nice. The blueberry pancakes were perfectly cooked and had plenty of fresh blueberries in them. Coffee was decent (a cut above the average). Prices are good value for Seattle (an expensive town). Service was friendly and professional, but they were very busy so wait time was around 20 minutes from order to food. You're getting something much better than fast food, so don't expect fast food delivery time. Highly recommended.

Hubby and I found Voula's totally by accident about a month ago. We live in Sno county and were on our way home from dropping someone at the airport. Since we were planning on going to the U District Farmer's Market we decided to have breakfast first. Portage Bay Cafe came to mind, but when we stopped in they were giving a 45-60 min wait. We said "Forget that!". So I checked Yelp to see what they recommended and I saw Voula's. Since it was only a mile away we decided to check it out. Didn't realize it was right next door to an old haunt of ours, the Northlake Tavern. Anyway, we were seated immediately and had coffee on the table within about 3 minutes. I ordered the Pinata Benedict and hubby had the Oddinator omelet. Both were out of this world! Who knew to put smoked pork on EB, but it was amazing! Their Hollandaise sauce, just slightly spicy, was also excellent. The service was attentive, always keeping our coffee cups full. We were there about 10:30-11 am and by the time we left at noon-ish there was a line waiting outside the front door. I thought it was nice that they provide coffee to those waiting outside. We made another trip to Voula's this past Monday, again on our way home from the airport. I had the "Freagy Geagy" omelet and hubby had the Pinata Benedict. The sausage they used in the FG was 100 % beef, homemade and just delicious. It had the perfect blend of Greek spices. I felt like I was eating gyro meat in an omelet. I loved it! Their portions are very generous. I took half of my omelet home and had it for lunch. As others have mentioned, their hash browns are delicious. I also appreciated the option of getting fresh tomato slices with my omelet instead of toast. The service wasn't quite as fast the second visit as the first, but I think they have more staff on hand on the weekends. Voula's is now our go-to joint for breakfast when in the U-District.

Great family owned spot. There are triple d recommendations on the menu, go for it! We had the Chinese pancakes (yes!!) and Greek hobo. Get those, trust me. Their homemade hot sauce rocks too. Was an easy walk from the pineapple hotels. Line for the other popular breakfast joint. Skip it and come here!!!

The food was pretty average, regular good diner food. There are too many restaurants in Seattle that offer better than "ok" to choose this one again.

Voula's has a broad enough local following that it appeared on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives", with host Guy Fieri. It's well deserved. Voula's is a vanishing institution in America, a comfort food café that still hangs onto its atmosphere as a working-person's restaurant, with decent food, generous portions, thick crockery and thin coffee. It's all good, but breakfast is a specialty, and the kitchen can actually cook eggs over soft, medium or hard. I give it 4 stars because it doesn't try and pretend it's anything other than what it is, damn good comfort food all around.

As a New Zealander, this felt like a fairly authentic US diner experience. Food was pretty good - I had pancakes and a side of bacon. Portions seem suitably American-sized. It was tough to make decisions as to what to have - plenty of good options! Seems to be a very popular and busy place. Definitely good for the novelty value, but seems to have a significant local following, so I'm told.

Introduced to Voula's on the first episode of DDD. When we are in Seattle, we come here for breakfast. Gret food and service. Hope to return next year.

Very good food, excellent service but add 50% to the prices of entrees shown here for more accurate current pricing. My omelet was $18.50.

We were looking for a great, no fuss breakfast place during a recent trip with relatives and we found it! Large portions, great food and service.

They were very busy when we got there, but we enjoyed some coffee while waiting outside. A team from University of Kentucky took up a decent amount of space in the back seating area, but all things considered, once seated they kept our water and coffee filled until our meal was ready, which took a little while, but not too long considering the place was 100% packed and still had a queue outside to get in. Servings were huge, and prices fair for what you get. The gentleman who was obviously running the show did a good job of getting people in as quickly as possible and was as always very friendly and welcoming. Still a family run place, and they still treat everyone like family. Been enjoying this place even before Guy really put it more so on the map, than it was previously. I don't get down as often as I would like, but when I do, it's always a good experience.

This place has some of the best food. I had the smoked salmon scramble. Excellent. I suggest trying the Greek sausage. It is like gyro meat but the best I've ever had. Voila is a sweet heart and lights up the room when she is here.

As a frequent traveler, I’ve gotten into the habit of checking for a Diners, Drive Ins and Dives episode or featured restaurant near me. They’re usually fantastic...this was an exception. First of all, I was reading reviews on google that all painted this place as a good value, excellent service, and fantastic food. I was waiting so long for my server to take my order that I had to make eye contact with someone working the other side of the restaurant several times before she came and took my order. Ordered the “No Way Jose” because it sounded good. And yes, the plate was huge, but maybe 1/3 of the plate was pico de gallo. If you LOVE raw onions and cabbage then you’ll still think there was too much one there. The hash browns were cooked perfectly but not seasoned at all. The house made lime sausage was subtle and would have maybe tasted good if not overpowered by whatever cheap guacamole spread they smothered the scramble with. Maybe a more “traditional” breakfast would be a wiser choice because they don’t really know what they’re doing assembling this particular dish. It was a lot of food, but the plate and a soft drink were $20 so I’m not really seeing the great prices other people praised them for. I’ve had much better breakfasts priced much better elsewhere.

I have eaten at Voula's a few times. The breakfasts are fabulous and massive. I have had omelets and their famous Chinese Panacke, which is a pancake with a fried egg in the middle. Why it is a Chinese Pancake is beyond me? The service is fast and friendly and you can watch them cook your food, especially if you sit at the counter. An iconic breakfast place.

I've visited here on numerous occasions and everytime I leave satisfied. Always good eats, and service is good as well. I tend to only go for breakfast since that is my favorite part of their menu, and the place packs it in fast. I got there right before opening, and withing 20-30 minutes, it was a packed house, even still the service was great. This place is always busy, but it is worth it everytime. I will be back, keep it up Voula's!!

Heard about this on Triple D's and my brother. Went there for our weekly breakfast with my Mom. Wide variety of foods and large portions. Fast and friendly service. Reasonable priced. I had the Pinata Benedict and loved the smoked pulled pork and chipotle hollandaise.

This a friendly local diner. We came here very hungry one Saturday morning and left with left-overs. Big servings of comfort breakfast foods. I was able to get a BLT as that's what I felt like and I shared one of my son's plates of hash browns. My husband and kids breakfast plates were enjoyable and filling.

I’ve been going to Voula’s Offshore Cafe for years and have been supportive during the pandemic by doing takeout once or twice a month. Today was my last time there. We are in the middle of a heatwave. I was with friends who did not want to eat inside for safety reasons, so we opted outside in the tent. The tent does not have windows that open. It was like an oven. We asked three times for drinks. They said we would get them when the food came. It took 50 minutes for our food to be ready. I was getting light-headed and was told the policy for “takeout” orders was no drinks until the food was ready; they didn’t have enough people to serve drinks. Why they can’t put a cooler of water, a bottle of Purell and some paper cups out there is beyond me. Other restaurants do. We’re in a heatwave here, a little courtesy for their outdoor patrons would be a decent thing to do. I’ve lost faith in this establishment and the people who said no to us getting drinks sooner.

The casual atmosphere and made from scratch menu is comfort food at it's best. Huge portions with many creative options. I thoroughly enjoyed the smoked salmon (which they smoke themselves!). It is the kind of place where you are instantly "family" and everyone knows your name.

Saw this on DDD. French dip was okay. Denver omelet was good. My son liked hi oddinator. The down side was that it was dirty. The floors looked dirty and unmopped. The tabletop was dirty and flies were flying around. The waitress was nice. Chicken Caesar was so-so.

Across the street from the pleasure boaters dock is this fine local diner. Scrambled eggs w/smoked salmon and a side of chipotle Hollandaise sauce made for a very good start to the day. Nothing fancy just good morning comfort food.

Excellent breakfast , try to go every time when we are in Seattle. The triple D show was right on the money. Try the Hobo or The Greek Hobo, absolutely delicious. The smoked salmon with eggs was also great. Can't wait to return.

Went to Voula's on 4 Sept 2012, right as they opened at 6am PST. Grill was hot and coffee was ready. Nikos and Sikey were ready to go. In fact there were already a couple of guys in there eating. We sat at the counter and already pretty much knew what we wanted after seeing the old episode of DDD. I ordered the CHINESE PANCAKE. It was just as good as it looked on TV. The pancake was flavorful and dare I say creamy. The egg is a great addition when you get to the middle of the pancake. I found the ham to be unobtrusive. In fact I barely rememeber it, so I could have even done without it and still loved it. I give it 5 stars. My wife ordered the SMOKEY THE SALMON. She loved the Hash Browns. They were cooked all the way through, not mushy in the middle like some places. She felt like there was too much Salmon in the eggs for her, but I am sure someone else would prefer it that way. She says 4 stars on that one. Now what really makes the place are the owners. Since we got there right as they opened on a tuesday, we were able to sit right down and order with Nikos and Sikey. They were extremely cordial. They had coffee rigt away and took our orders. As we sat, they talked with us and we could tell these are real, genuine people who love what they do and love people. All the while, they are effortlessly making our food to perfection. We will go back when we get back to Seattle. Just loved the experience. Thank you! Next time we will try the WASSUP DAWG, it is a Two egg omelette stuffed with a Beef Dog and cheddar cheese topped with chili and red onions Served with hashbrowns and toast. Sounds like awesome dinner fare!

Voula's is a great place for basic working persons breakfast -- all day long. Breakfast choices are diner like -- yes a tad greasy -- but good and lots of it. Early AM is busy with local working folks and Saturdays expect a wait.

Great breakfast at this place! This diner feels well-loved and found out it's been in the family for generations. The food we had was exactly what we were craving and the server kept coming around and filling up my coffee. Love that it was open early and a great location to visit Gas Works Park afterwards.

Came in on my way to a Waterways Cruise. Got served promptly, and my order in a timely manner. Rather loved having a stack of pancakes as big as my ugly face and some good bacon. Also got some good coffee in a snazzy blue cup. Very nice place and will dine again. Even had Guy Fieri write a chapter in one of his books about the restaurant.

I got the cheeseburger to go- to take to my hotel room before I left. It was definitely worth the price. I would go here again just because the burgers are handmade fresh, not out of the box. This is a super "peave" of mine (burgers that are pre-fabbed). Nothing is closer to home cooking than fresh ingredients. The menu items may not be something you used to but, they are good. Great place to go off the beaten path, and I would recommend to anyone.

It's a Diners Drive in's and Dives place with fairly large portions of tasty food, Frankly, it is what it is, a fun spot we went to for breakfast. Eggs were cooked as requested.Hash is more meat than filler, potatoes are very tasty. Near the water so locals and boaters frequent Voula's making it a good mix. Friendly staff and owner. Worth the stop and will likely go again when back to Seattle.

We went to this restaurant after seeing it on diners drive ins and dives. It was good food and friendly wait staff. We had two of the items recommended and they were good. I had the Chinese pancake and it was definately different. The place itself was a dive and hard to get to, but the food was pretty decent and fun to visit.

We go to Voulas as often as we can. We love the great food and the staff are always friendly and it is a happy place. Enjoy

We found this place after we got turned away from Aqua Verde’s wait line. We were not upset about our discovery. Voula’s is located a few blocks down the road from the U, directly under I-5. While this sounds ominous, I can assure you whole-heartedly it’s not. The food is so terrific and the staff so friendly, “Drive-Ins, Diners, and Dives” stopped by here to sample the local fare. My favorite? The Smokey the Salmon, a scramble of fresh salomon, and eggs over hashbrowns. The most delicious breaskfast scramble I’ve ever had, hands-down. Also delicious is the Geezer Pleezer, which is Guy Fierra’s personal favorite while there. The food won’t cost you an arm and a leg, either. It’s darn cheap for how good it is. The staff is friendly and prompt (your coffee will never go cold), and if you sit at the counter by the kitchen, you’ll surely get to talk it up with the busy wait staff or a local fisherman in to get some grub. We’ve gone back three times in three trips to Seattle, and I’m certain we will continue to go back.

Party of 6 went for my oldest daughter's birthday. This has been a tradition for her for years and the owners know her. My daughter's fiance is in radio and they were able to meet Guy Fieri here when he was in town. guy is from Diners, Dives and Drive-ins and truly loves this place. When you arrive if there is a wait they have a self serve coffee station outside. Put your name on the list and indicate if a counter seat is acceptable. Several of our party already knew what they wanted. The Greek Hobo seemed popular. Whatever you decide on either be very hungry or prepared to take some home. Portions are HUGH. I had a scramble of eggs sausage and cheese over a large portion of crispy hash browns. I subbed a home made biscuit for the toast and ordered a dide of gravy. Essentially making my already over-sized breakfast even more impossible to finish. In fact there is is almost a week later and I finally finished it. I made the leftovers into mini breakfast burritos. I probably should have split with my other half but we loved having Voula's at home too.

Friendly with great food and good coffee. What else could you want? Lots of choices and large servings. Local spot not typical for tourists. Weekdays are not too crowded. Weekends much more so

My husband & I visited Voula's the last two times we were in Seattle. This time, twice! Love everything about this place. The food is exceptional (and hearty)...the decor, real (all the drawings, newspaper articles/reviews, kids' thank you notes & photos collected over the years)...the owners/workers (doesn't matter if you're a regular, or first-timer, you feel so WELCOME here) and the relationships within this classic, authentic diner. You see customers who obviously have been coming for years & years, and owners who truly care. Oh if the walls could only talk...

My daughter ordered the breakfast special, Ragin Cajun biscuits and gravy. They need to make this gravy a regular item! Fantastic flavour!! My granddaughter had sausage and pancakes. They go above and beyond here, instead of one large pancake, they made it into 5 mini cakes for the kiddo. I really like how they make your time here so personal. And the food is Great! I had eggs and sausage, eggs cooked to perfection, hashbrowns crisp and perfect, the sausage patty, very large and super flavor. This farm girl was very impressed with Voula's. Oh, the coffee, great too.... Until next time!

GREAT food! Super friendly service!! Dedicated parking a plus….good for groups! Breakfasts are delicious and creative.

Yet ANOTHER stop on my list from Triple D on TV. I was by myself on a busy Saturday morning but luckily was able to get seated right away at the bar. The food was piping hot and fabulous! All the staff and customers too were very friendly! It was a great experience and can't recommend it enough to anybody in the area. Can't wait to go back!

I usually like to try places that are on DDD. I saw this one and it was a no brainer. Had the Hobo for breakfast today. It was awesome and very filling. My son had the Greek Hobo and my other son had the chocolate chip pancakes. The food was great. I would definitely recommend it.

We happened across this place by accident as we were heading to a park in the area. From the outside you would not think much of the place, and from the inside either for that matter. When we entered the front door we were greeted right away and sat at a table... the last one open... good timing. The space had some stools upfront and then a lot of tables filling the rest of the space. The tables appeared like something you would see in someone’s home... set the stage for making you feel comfortable. Our server was very attentive, even though it was very busy. The menu had lots of options but we chose two things that were on the section of menu called “Guy Fieri’s Choices”. We had the Hobo and the Greek Hobo. Both were delivered filling the whole plate. We could only eat half and they provided a to-go container (and utensils!) for us to take the rest with us (note: tasted great for breakfast cold the next morning!). We would highly recommend this diner to anyone for a good home cooked meal with large portions. We will be back.

Ok--first the good stuff. Even if the line is long, they work at getting you in quickly. Place has lots of seating so it goes fast. The service is fantastic: Fast, friendly and courteous. If you don't like sitting close to other customers (as in hearing their entire conversations), this isn't the place for you. I found the food average and expensive. There was waaay too much on the plate so you can definitely share a dish--though you get charged for that. Never understood that concept. I found the eggs slightly undercooked and bland and the omelettes not really tasty. My friends love the place and raved about the salmon and scrambled eggs however. I seem to be the minority in my assessment of the place. The whole experience just left me ambivalent. Won't be going back.

Great place. We stopped by for breakfast - and were NOT disappointed. Great food made from scratch, the old fashioned way. They even have house made sausage. Nest time I need breakfast in Seattle - I know a place.

The service around 7 AM was quite fast, and I ordered the Pinata Benedict. Excellent! If offered the house-made salsa, absolutely go for it. I'm not a breakfast salsa person, but it was incredibly good. Given the dearth of breakfast spots in Wallingford, you should absolutely go here.

Restaurant is in need of some maintenance--paint and updating. The men behind the counter were more interested in the TV than what their customers needed. The waitress was very slow in giving us service. And the food (even tho "Guy" thought it was great) was just average, at best! We will be trying another spot for breakfast. Prices were a little high for what you received - obviously they hung their hat on GUY's review!

Ordered the pork sandwich and it took 45 minutes to arrive. When I got it, I could hardly taste the pork. I primarily tasted the grill juice on which everything else is cooked on. Disappointing experience for sure.

The food was wonderful, really large portions and our waitress was very happy and personable. I've been there once before, many years ago and it's exactly the same. I recommend the biscuits and gravy!!

We were looking for a good breakfast place close to the UW campus and Voula's had great reviews. We were all so glad we tried it! Great food with large portions. The service was very good and friendly. I was worried there might not be enough seating by the pictures I've seen but there was plenty. We all decided this will be where we go for breakfast when we visit the campus.

Went there with my wife while we were on a vacation to Seattle and Vancouver. Friendly staff and great atmosphere inside. We each got a hobo and had so much food some of it ended up being breakfast the next day. Definitely will be going back next time I am in town.

We try getting to Diner, Drive Ins and Dives locations when we travel. We stopped by Voula's for breakfast, we were blown away with the food there. My wife had scrabbled eggs and bacon which she raved about. I asked our server what a "Chinese Pancake" was, once she explained it I ordered it. Imagine diced ham and a fried egg in your pancake, it was fantastic. I ordered a side of hash browns that literally filled a plate.

We had some business across the street. And we were hungry. It has free parking (something you rarely encounter in Seattle.) So we thought we'd roll the dice. A great decision! The most imaginative items are for breakfast. I didn't note anything that sounded exciting for lunch, so I just went for the cheeseburger (with the potato salad that's one of the options that are included). My wife chose the BLT and fries. Both the sandwiches and sides were exceptional! The burger was as good as any I've had in a restaurant! And that's saying a LOT for this cheeseburger fanatic. The wife's BLT was equally excellent. I'd probably be a regular if it was anywhere close to out house.

We visited this afternoon and wish to thank the staff and owner for making a 40 year and 30 year family reunion fulfilled. Our server was amazing, the food perfect and the environment pristine and clean. Not a frown in the place. For someone like me who knows very little about Seattle, Voula's was easy to find. Although they take no reservations, we were seated within 20 minutes and had a nice bench to sit on outside as we waited. Truly a wonderful experience and we all left happy both in our tummy and in our hearts.

We drive from Bellevue to Seattle every Sunday morning to have breakfast at Voula's. The omelets are fantastic and the pancakes are great. Bring a big appetite or split a plate. The whole family loves it

This was a cute little diner with excellent breakfast. The menu contained a variety of options for breakfast and lunch and the service was great!

Loved it! Really good breakfast ... huge servings of delicious omelets, bacon to die for and a complete menu made with very fresh ingredients ... a welcome combo of flavors, good service and a warm, friendly place to kick off a great day ... A "real place" to eat well and a place to return to as often as possible ... Its been around and its going to be around ...

I came here for breakfast with my friend. I heard that this place was on Food Network, I think Dine in and Dive? I ended up trying one of the dishes that were apparently on that show and I was disappointed. Everything was mixed into one large plate and it was filling. I ended up taking the leftovers home and my friend and I ended up eating it for the remaining two days. I added some hot sauce to give my dish some flavor and it didn't make much of a difference. My friend ordered a regular breakfast and his looked more tasty than mine. The bacon was well done and I fell in love with the english muffins. That was probably the greatest part of the meal. I still haven't found a place that makes english muffins as tasty as this place. Other than the fact that the english muffins and the bacon was good, the portions were huge, the customer service was okay. This isn't the greatest breakfast place I've had.

This is a very average diner. Nothing more. Nothing less. Expect average service, greasy food and no ambiance.

Another Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives restaurant. Very yummy! Love that they put Guys picks on the menu. Had the salmon breakfast. Would recommend!

Ok seriously I can't believe that I do not live here. This is hands down one of my favorite lil places in America. We travel by restaurants.... we drove here straight from the airport and we arrived at 6am..... what a GREAT way to start our day, we loved it. I had the smocked pork eggs benedict and it is truely one of the best things I have ever ate .....ever!!!!! My daughter had biscuits and gravy....... oh my yum. Large portions and flavor. Now lets get on to the staff... well I sould call them a team. They were friendly , kind and did not make us feel like tourist, we were treated like locals. We traveled from Virginia to get great Southern Hospitality. BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO.... if you are debating this place...... debate no longer, get there and enjoy, you will not be sorry. Oh Did I mention that you will dream about the food days after you are gone.... two weeks now and I am still thinking about this lil place. We had a 10 day food road trip..... yeah these guys are one of the best, we have now done 50 states.... yeah they are in the top 5 of the greats!!!! I wish they sold tshirts... no joke I would have bought one quickly!!!!

While doing my Seattle research, I had to check out where Diners, Drive-ins and Dives had been in town. One spot was Voula's. We walked from our hotel (the Maxwell Hotel), which I would not recommend to others. It was quite a walk just for lunch. The restaurant looked like a dive. It's not somewhere I would stop without the help of the show. I had the club sandwich and my husband had one of their scrambles with seafood in it. My sandwich was good, but definitely not the best club sandwich I have ever had. I was looking forward to having a slice of pie because the show and their menu said it was tasty. But they were out of pie by the time we got there. Overall, the place was OK, but nothing spectacular. Afterward I kind of wished we had eaten elsewhere for a better experience.

Good food at a reasonable price. And plenty of it. Popular with returning alums of UW who ate there years ago. Free Parking!

Found this cafe on Google's restaurants near me function after we (party of 2) discovered that UW campus doesn't accept cash at their food courts, and decided to give it a try since it was within walking distance. We had a little trouble finding the proper door at first since the only marker was their big sign and we approached from the back, but once we got in we discovered that it was very cozy inside! Service was prompt and friendly as soon as we entered, and it wasn't too busy even for lunchtime. We ordered a Mushroom & Swiss burger and Bacon and Fried Egg sandwich; the portions were bigger than we expected but not unwelcome because of the walk and it tasted great. They got our food ready pretty quickly so we didn't have to wait long. We expected to have to rush a bit because it closed at 2, but they didn't pressure us at all. Everything looked pretty clean, the server came to check on us multiple times and was very friendly, and price wasn't terrible considering the portions and quality. Definitely will come again if I have the chance :)

Traditional diner style breakfast. The omelettes and scrambles are excellent, and the portions generous. The coffee is brewed weakly so you can drink tons of it. Although located close to the water, the only view is of the Seattle Boat Company across the street and the bridge above. Instead, enjoy watching the local crowd in the morning.

While in Seattle for a conference, I made certain to stop by Voula's Offshore Cafe. When in a city I always check to see if it has a restaurant featured on Triple D (Dinners, Drive-ins, and Dives) as they are always incredible. Walking in with some friends from Seattle, I walked by one of the brother cooks featured on the program and told him I'd come from Wisconsin for breakfast at Voula's. He said "we won't let you down" and they certainly didn't. I had their "Naked Hobo" (no idea why it is called that) breakfast and it was INCREDIBLE! Don't visit Seattle without a visit to Voula's!!

I wanted to love this place but the highly touted "squeely" was long on bacon tasting pork and short on sauce flavoring. If the Chipotle sauce had been evident on the sandwich it would have been much better. My wife had a cheeseburger that was very tasty but also suffered from a lack of flavoring sauce and the French fries were not very good.

WOW! I ordered the Greek hobo breakfast. Now I'm a big eater, and could only finish half. It was absolutely amazing and flavorful, and just as good reheated as leftovers. Fun atmosphere too.

The variety of food served at Voula's is unmatched anywhere else in the city. This is a unique and wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner location. Portions are for the most hungry and the flavor makes you eat more than you really should. The Greek Hobo, is a pleasure for at least 3 individuals if you want a breakfast that will last all day.

Unlike the IHOP, they put the hushbrown under the main course but full of the plate, what an amazing portion! I loved Fried Steak and topping sauce, delicious and even better than IHOP! it;s location is good and near many sightseeing spots; Gas Works Park, Troll, Fremont Flea Market are all around, anyway it's a great place for weekend brunch!

This is a great family owned restaurant. We went here for our first breakfast in Seattle. Everyone got a different plate. We all tried each other food. Everything was great. Our waitre6was awesome. A must do when in Seattle.

I had my first breakfast at Voula's Offshore Cafe this week, and had to share the good times! The experience started with excellent service and decent coffee, but that can be found in many nice places. The specials caught my attention, including Putin's Poutine, and yes, they mean *that* Putin. But I went with the Oddinator, a 3-egg omelet loaded with Greek sausage and cheese. I suspected a bit of feta in the mix, but they did not mention that. Topped with BBQ sauce, a hit, and one I will try again!

We stopped by Voula's on the way from Seattle to Vancouver, as it's not too far from the Interstate. When we found it, I was a little surprised as the name indicates it's near(ish?) to a shore line, though it's actually on a nondescript road almost directly underneath I5. The outside isn't particularly impressive, and we found little difference when we stepped in. Standard interior, though a nice mural and it's always good to have the kitchen as such a prominent feature. My friend had a burger while I ordered the Pinata Benedict, and while his looked good, mine was truly impressive (photo included - I had the hollandaise on the side). I really loved the smoked pork, and I don't normally like pork at all! Service was fine but it's the food that we really enjoyed here, isn't that how it should be?

This is the second time we've eaten here after seeing this quaint restaurant on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. The staff is so friendly and helpful, no request is too much for them to handle. Very large plates of food make it a great value and everything tastes soooo good! Kind of out of the way, but the trip there is half the fun. When we're looking for a good place for a hearty breakfast, Voula's is it!!

My husband likes to try the restaurants featured on the DDD shows. The meals we had at Voula's were very good. The portions were huge. If you don't eat huge amounts, you may be better off splitting a plate. The service was great.

Great breakfast! Took my wife there because she likes breakfast. We both had great meals! I don’t like eggs but loved the Greek Hobo! Wish we had more time in Seattle to go back again. Worth the drive! Busy on weekends but worth the wait if all the tables are taken!

Voula’s was featured on Guy Fieri’s show, Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. It’s an excellent family run diner that serves incredible breakfast dishes. It gets really busy on the weekends beginning around 10am, so try to get there early or else you’ll need to wait outside (limited space inside). Tables inside the diner are very close together and there is also a traditional counter and stools you can sit at and watch the cooks. Portions are very large, each time that I’ve been here I take 1/2 of my omelet home. Most items come with a heaping serving of delicious hash browns, which you can smell the minute you walk into Voula’s. My husband’s favorite item on the menu is the Piñata Benedict, a unique twist on eggs Benedict that features their in-house smoked pork.

Whenever we visit our daughter in Seattle (she attends college there), we swing by for breakfast at Voula's. We have never been disappointed in the food (taste and portions) or service. Their Hobo (in its various incarnations) is wonderful. I usually split it with my daughter (or whoever is inclined) so that I can get one of their homemade desserts (this week, it was their peanut butter pie). OMG! So yummy, all the way around!

Great, authentic Greek diner. Don't miss the greek sausage.

We really enjoyed our breakfast. Portions were huge! Ambiance of an old style dinner was wonderful and the staff was great!

Delicious and CHEAP. Great Breakfast place!

Great food, and fun atmosphere, we especially like breakfast but it does get crowded on weekends. However they do provide you with coffee while you wait. We have this on our every year list

Went here for breakfast. So many great items on the menu, we had a hard time choosing. I had the French toast, which was delicious. My husband had the salmon scramble which was excellent also. Service was great and friendly. We sat overlooking the grill and enjoyed talking with one of the chefs.

Weekends are packed so try to get there on a weekday. The Greek Hobo is hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. Pancakes are great too. I always hit Voula's when I'm in town.

Even with map we got lost twice trying to find it but the food was worth the search after driving around for 20 minutes. Started out with a dish of Greek yogurt with honey and chopped walnuts over the top. WOW, was it delicious. Almost gave up breakfast to have another serving. The Greek yogurt is delivered to them and is drained until a mousse consistency. Two round scoops equal a serving. Truly a delightful treat. Every egg order was delivered exactly as requested. No burned edges and perfectly done. The menu is innovative and omelettes were full of fillings and delicious. Four Greek sausages equal one side dish and one order was just right for us all to try. A small diner, jam-packed, but the waitress brought everything with no problem and did it quickly. Hours: M-F 6 a.m. - 3 p.m., Sat & Sun 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
A great DDD recommendation!
We'd read the place fills up quickly, so we arrived ten minutes before they opened. We backed into a parking spot, read the news, watched for the doors to open. By the time they did, there was a small crowd on the sidewalk. Hint: get here early; the crowds build fast! We both thought this was an excellent breakfast joint. We both had a scramble and coffee, and can highlyrecommend the Greek Hobo with homemade hot sauce.
